Anti-Gun SCOTUS's bodyguards shoot would-be carjacker outside her home

A pair of deputy US Marshals shot a wannabe carjacker who pulled a gun on them while they were guarding the home of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor in Washington, DC. She has no problem with her bodyguards being armed, but not so much for the little people like us.

Anyway, the marshals were parked outside Sotomayors home in northwest DC on July 5th when a nice young felon named Kentrell Flowers, 18, walked up to one of their cars around 1:15 a.m. The young man pointed a gun at one of the federal agents, the US Marshals Service reported.

Surprise! One of the agents drew his weapon and fired several rounds at young Flowers, while a second officer also began firing at the suspect.

Lucky for the young man, the US Marshals weren't the best shots on the block and Flowers was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Sotomayor was not at home when the incident occurred.

Metropolitan Police detectives are investigating the shooting, and recovered a semi-automatic handgun from the scene. The suspect's firearm was recovered at the scene.

“The Deputy US Marshals involved in the shooting incident were part of the unit protecting the residences of U.S. Supreme Court justices,” the US Marshals office said in a statement.

The young Flowers was charged with armed carjacking, carrying a pistol without a license, and possession of a large capacity magazine. So even if Sotomayor's call for crazy-strict gun laws, this would have done nothing to stop the crime.

Sotomayor's 'Hood'

The US Marshals office and Metropolitan Police Department declined to elaborate further on the case, which remains under investigation. Yet another in the latest series of high profile carjackings of federal agents and VIPs in Washington, DC.

Last year, Secret Service agents assigned to President Biden’s granddaughter, Naomi, opened fire on a group of people attempting to break into an unmarked Secret Service car.

Officials said the agents found three people attempting to enter the parked car at Naomi’s Georgetown neighborhood just before midnight on Nov. 12.

In January, former Trump administration official Mike Gill was fatally wounded by a carjacker as he sat in his vehicle on K Street at about 5.

But have no fear. Hunter Biden promises to get to the bottom of this while he is in charge.

Mom exercises her 2nd Amendment Rights and castle domain to protect her family

San Antonio, Texas -- Police said a man entered the home of a San Antonio mother of three from the rear of the building at about 10 pm. He then attempted to break into the door leading into the main part of the house where the woman and her children were located, according to KSAT-TV

The unidentified woman who is in her 30s, heard noises that she identified as an intruder.

When the man entered, she shot him twice in the chest, according to KABB-TV. The police came and the intruder was taken to the hospital but died on the way. The network reported that the woman will not face charges under what is known as castle domain. This doctrine permits individuals to use the necessary force needed for the protection of themselves at their home or place of work.

As of this past Friday, the dead man's identity has not been released by law enforcement and the woman's identity also remains undisclosed.

Regarding the castle domain doctrine, Texas has some of the strongest self-defense and defense of property laws in the country. The right to keep and bear arms is part of our natural, immutable rights to defend ourselves and our liberty from crime and the tyranny of government.

If the left had their way across the nation, this woman and her children, might be dead.

Mass shooting in Pittsburgh: 2 dead, 11 injured

Some violent guns began shooting in people's hands in Pittsburgh, PA.

The guns began shooting during a house party around East Ohio Street and Madison Avenue at about 1:00am on Sunday. There were said to be around 200 people at the house, according to local reporters, which, by any. standard, is a big party.

Two people were shot and killed and 11 other individuals suffered injuries and are being treated at local hospitals.

The investigation is ongoing in the North Side neighborhood known by locals as Deutschtown, which is German-English for Germantown. However, information has not been released as to whether the victims or the guns were German.

Baltimore: "Safe Streets Worker" shot and killed in the street

Baltimore -- When you put a clueless incompetent in charge of anything and the best they can do is to call to defund the police, decriminalize crime, and promote no bail for violent criminals, the results are as  predictable as Joe Biden alluding to Russia they can go into Ukraine a little and we'll just jaw about it to our allies. Of course, the clueless supporters of these incompetents believe them because they're clueless too. These are the same clueless individuals who believe that all we have to do to reduce shootings is to make guns illegal, and people who would normally shoot other people, wouldn't do that because it's against the law.

In Baltimore, there was a push for "community safety" workers who would go unarmed, injecting themselves into violent situations as "violence interrupters" and this was meant to reduce the number of lethal use of force responses by police officers.  This insanity was called the “Safe Streets Program” and it got a lot of clueless municipal support.

The program's goal is to send former gang members into areas controlled by other gang members to talk to them and persuade them to put their gangsta grips down and use their words instead of their chromes to resolve conflicts such as: who gets to be the cooker in what hood; who gets to rip off which establishment without the other gang getting all frothy.

Sadly, this doesn't always work out as planned.

Early this week a Baltimore’s Safe Streets workers was shot to death along with several other people on the East side of Charm City. (H/T Baltimore Sun)

A quadruple shooting in East Baltimore on Wednesday night left three people dead, including a Safe Streets worker, and one person injured, police said. Three others were injured in separate shootings in West and South Baltimore.

At about 7:25 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2400 block of E. Monument St. Once there, officers located four men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

A 28-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene. Medics transported three other victims to area hospitals, where a 24-year-old man and another man were also pronounced dead.

Like other major cities in the US, Baltimore has more casualties this year than most other years prior. The city is trying everything it can and one must feel for the citizens there and in cities like New York, Chicago, Seattle and others mostly led by Democrats.

The program in Baltimore has seen a modicum of crime reduction, but clearly, it is not the answer. And the city's efforts at prosecuting more cops than gang members is not the answer by a long shot. When the cops are deemed impotent to fight crime, criminals react in the best way they know how.

Comrade Mayor de Blasio isn't concerned about NYC's spike in crime

Big Apple Mayor and faithful Comrade Bill de Blasio [whose real name is Warren Wilhelm, Jr.]  doubled down Friday on his logic-defying decision to not hire more cops in spite of the huge surge in crime in New York City, and even after acting President Joe Biden,  provided federal tax dollars for the increase in policing for large, Democrat-run cities that have seen violent crimes go through the proverbial roof.

Meanwhile, de Blasio has an armed security force that shields him from those problems.

He was asked about his feckless decision not to increase the police force's ability to fight crime after the city received $6 billion in federal COVID-19 relief. Biden even mumbled that the money could be used for dealing with crime issues, but the Communist mayor told Brian Lehrer of WNYC "That's not the whole reality."

"The money that the president focused was for certain cities that were dealing with much more profound gun-violence problems than New York is," de Blasio said, pretending that the city he poorly runs has not been affected by a crime wave.

"We have a problem, Brian. I’m not trying to minimize it. We have a lot of work to do to turn around. But a number of other American cities unfortunately are going through much, much worse, and that’s where that money was targeted," de Blasio lied.

And speaking of money, we still don't know what happened to the $850 million his wife was given by the taxpayers to deal with the city's mental health issues. And if anything, the mental health of New Yorkers is in a down-spiral.

De Blasio blatantly Thursday claiming the Biden was mumbling about other cities, not New York, when he mentioned federal coronavirus funding could be used to pay for more police. In fact, a White House source who wishes to be anonymous based on the cancel culture mentality sweeping the nation, said that de Blasio was "incorrect," which is politispeak for "lying."

"Cities like New York that are experiencing a spike in gun violence as a result of the pandemic are eligible to use [the] money to hire additional police officers above a pre-pandemic baseline level to help address that," the anonymous source said.

But City Hall pointed to data that compared the number of shootings in the Big Apple to other major cities on a per-capita basis, which showed New York had the fewest number of shootings per 100,000 residents. So if New York had more shootings than another city, but the other city had fewer residents, that would be just super for de Blasio's way of thinking. What an idiot.

New York's data doesn't include annual rates of shooting increases. Its own figures show that shootings in New York are actually up 64.8 percent — more than any other city listed except for Baltimore, where gun violence has risen 84.2 percent. And based on City Hall's statistics, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Newark, NJ, and Philadelphia have smaller increases than New York, proving once again that de Blasio is, if fact, an idiot.

New York City's budget of $98.7 billion for next year added $200 million to the NYPD budget after having slashed it $1 billion last year, but the new money will not be used for hiring more police.

Last week, Biden mush-mouthed that the billions of dollars handed out through his "American Rescue Plan" can be used by cities "experiencing an increase in gun violence … to hire police officers needed for community policing and to pay their overtime."

On Friday, comrade de Blasio said,  "Right now we have a police force of 35,000, I think that’s the right number, we need to take those officers and continue to apply a neighborhood policing approach, re-bond police and community."

"There were real challenges last year, we have to overcome them with more dialogue, more working together, more reliance on community based solutions to violence, I think we are hitting the right balance point."

And New Yorkers think you are unbalanced, Bill, and yes, many New Yorkers think you are an idiot, in case I forgot to mention it.

Crimes committed with guns across all five boroughs has soared over 40 percent thus far in 2021. They're shooting people in broad daylight in Times Square and the Bronx. Kids are being caught in the crossfire of gangs whose AR-15s are actually illegal handguns. And you refuse to hire more police in spite of having the money to do that.

Perhaps you have more personal plans with the money, comrade.

Three killed in Miami-Dade shooting

Three people are dead and among them is a female corrections officer. Nine others were injured in an incident described by police as a "targeted shooting" in southwest Miami Sunday morning.

The shooting was posted on a Twitter by Miami-Dade police and people were asked to avoid the area due to increased police presence. It occurred inside a strip mall parking lot near Miami Dade College's Kendall campus, WTVJ-TV reported and the mall contains two businesses a restaurant and a hookah lounge.

Miami-Dade Police Director Alfredo "Freddy" Ramirez III told WSVN-TV that a graduation party was concluding at around 2 a.m. People were milling about in the parking lot when a car pulled up and began to open fire into the crowd.

A corrections officer with the state of Florida died at a nearby hospital.

Two people died after crashing into a wall at Miami-Dade College. A gun was found in the back of their car Ramirez said it was unknown they died after getting shot or crashing into the wall. The injured self-transported to hospitals.

So it sounds as if everybody was packing heat.

Police are looking for two cars believe linked to the scene of the shooting.

"It just goes to show you the magnitude of this gun violence issue," Ramirez said, referring to the guns and not the criminals using them as weapons. "It doesn't just affect the community, it affects the law enforcement community as well."

One week ago, a shooting in northwest Miami-Dade killed three people and injured 20 others. Authorities are still searching for the suspects. One victim, a woman, died Thursday.

It's time to fund the police and find those with illegal firearms and arrest them because it isn't the legal firearms causing the real trouble. and it sure isn't AR-15s.

Biden: "Shoot them in the leg"

Remember as a kid, the old cowboy movies where the good guy would face a bad guy with a gun and rather than shooting at the guy's mass, the good guy would shoot the gun out of the miscreant's hand? In the movie business that is known as make believe because nobody with more than two brain neurons to rub together would shoot at the nasty gun, rather than the nasty guy who was about to kill you with it.

Enter Joe Biden, an actual human who probably doesn't know which end of the gun where the bullets fire out from.

On Thursday, Biden once again contended that police should try to shoot dangerous suspects in the leg as a form of de-escalation.

"You have to teach people how to de-escalate circumstances. De-escalate," Biden said during an ABC News town hall. "So, instead of anybody coming at you and the first thing you do is shoot to kill, you shoot them in the leg."

Really, he said that. He also thinks it's a good idea to scare off intruders by firing two shotgun blasts in the air. Aside from it being illegal to fire a gun in the air, it's really extremely stupid, especially if it's a double-barrel shotgun and you've emptied it at the clouds. But that's another story.

Gun-safety and police training experts blasted Biden's "wisdom" when he first made the stupid comment at a campaign event in June. They explained that the idea of using a firearm to de-escalate a situation, or use non-lethal force when your own life is being threatened, is dangerous.

Rob Pincus told the Free Beacon in June, "Legs move. It's much harder to hit a smaller moving target than it is to hit the chest."

Pincus trains cops all throughout the country and Europe. "From a technical shooting skill standpoint, from a technical legal standpoint, it's not where we want to go at all," he said.

Joe Biden is running for President on the Democratic ticket. A vote for him is a vote for a stupid America.

Flappy-arm O'Rourke has his lunch eaten by NRA

Former cowboy from El Paso, millionaire by marriage and "gun guru" Robert Francis O'Rourke [aka Beto] in another feeble attempt at rebooting a presidential campaign that is flailing almost as much as his arms when he speaks, has two main priorities: Trump and all of his supporters' racism, and the "gun lobby."

In the immediate aftermath of the horrific El Paso mass shooting on August 3rd which killed 22 and about 40 more injured, O'Rourke said that a mandatory gun buyback program [which is a fancy term for a mandatory confiscation program] "absolutely has to be part of the conversation." He added that he'd be receptive to that if he ever got elected as President. He spoke on the podcast "Pod [not G_d] Save America":
“It absolutely has to be part of the conversation. And at the end of the day, if it’s going to save lives, if it’s going to prevent the kinds of tragedies that we saw in El Paso or Gilroy or Dayton or this weekend in Chicago or all over this country on a daily basis, then let’s move forward and do it.”
At the end of the day, O'Rourke knows as much about guns as he does about winning a Texas Senate seat with tons more money than his opponent.

On Friday, the O'Rourke campaign posted the idiot's gun control plan on his website which included, among other things, a call for a mandatory buyback program for “weapons of war.” [Did you wet yourself with those scary words?]

Over the weekend, "Flappy Arms" made an unannounced visit to a gun show in Arkansas to talk to gun owners on their thoughts about his ever-evolving, incredibly erudit gun control plan, I write sarcastically.

CBS News and The Hill described O’Rourke as being back on the campaign trail after a “12-day hiatus” in response the El Paso mass shooting, but c'mon; he never really left the old trail.

Bobby tweeted about his visit to Arkansas over the weekend.
In Arkansas, I listened to gun owners and sellers—and appreciated hearing their perspectives. But as the plan we released yesterday says, if I’m president, you wouldn’t be able to buy weapons of war for $395. You wouldn’t be able to buy them at all. pic.twitter.com/Pz8KuFq9Tt
— Beto O'Rourke (@BetoORourke) August 17, 2019
The NRA noticed what the somewhat incredulous senate seat loser posted – and responded:
“If I’m president…”
Beto: Have you taken a look at the polls? 🤣 https://t.co/BfwRQdXVdd
— NRA (@NRA) August 17, 2019
Hahahahahaha.

But lo and beserve, O’Rourke flapped back:
Yeah. I've seen them. 70% of Americans support an assault weapons ban, including most Republicans. https://t.co/opWCyPfeI7 https://t.co/Eo8WiVb97p
— Beto O'Rourke (@BetoORourke) August 17, 2019
Not to be outdone by an ignoramus who knows less about guns than a walrus knows about dental implants, the NRA posted back:
A majority of people can’t even tell you what an “assault weapon” is and can’t define “semi-automatic.”
This gun control activist (who was fed talking points) wants to ban “fully semi-automatic” guns.
We are excited to see you lose once again. pic.twitter.com/7LzGhVn4Pd https://t.co/WCFfAcZ4Yu
— NRA (@NRA) August 18, 2019
"Fully semi-automatic" is a nonsense term. O'Rourke doesn't know the difference between a semi-automatic and a fully automatic. He probably doesn't even know what a selector switch is on a "weapon of war," which at one time was the flintlock. He probably doesn't know the difference between a bullet and a round, or his ass from his elbow.

These are the people telling us about what needs to be done regarding gun control. The only gun control we need beyond what we already have, might be red flag laws and to hold your breath, take careful aim and slowly squeeze the trigger. Oh, and always be aware of what's behind your target.

Gun control activists deliberately distort the meaning of certain words and terms in order to confuse voters on the issue. It’s important in these debates that everyone be on the same page when it comes to the meaning behind the words/terminology they use so there is no confusion.

If Beto becomes President, chickens will rule the sky.

"Spartacus" wins 3 Pinocchios saying toy guns more are regulated than firearms

Presidential candidate and wild-eyed leftist Cory Booker (Duh-NJ) made the claim that in the United States, there is "more federal regulation over toy guns than real ones."

The Washington Post‘s fact-checker, a left-leaning newspaper, awarded Booker three Pinocchios for his false claim [aka: bald-faced lie].

Polling in the proverbial toilet in the Democrat presidential primary, "Spartacus" recently rolled out a 14-point policy proposal to combat gun violence. So crazy was his proposal that even The New York Times, a former newspaper, described his nonsense as one of the "the most progressive gun-control measures suggested by a candidate seeking the Democratic nomination for president."

The proposal included a variety of measures that would significantly alter how firearms are regulated in the United States, including a gun licensing program that would force individuals who want to purchase a firearm to "apply for a license in much the same way one applies for a passport," according to The Times.
After the Nazis confiscated guns from the Jews
Booker's campaign released a Medium post, detailing the lunatic's proposal, writing, "there is more regulation over toy guns than real ones. While medicine, children's toys, and any number of other consumer products are subject to regulation by the federal government, firearms are exempt. In other words, gun manufacturers have little incentive to make their products safer. Cory will work to close this loophole in federal oversight and allow the Consumer Product Safety Commission to ensure gun safety by making safety warnings and issuing recalls for faulty firearms."

Actually, there are more regulations regarding children not being permitted to watch an "R" rated movie than there are regarding children getting an abortion.

Glenn Kessler, the Washington Post‘s fact-checker, on Monday morning said, "Booker's comparison of the regulations of toy guns and real guns is specious," giving him three Pinocchios for the statements.

Analyzing Booker's wording, Kessler explained
"There are clearly many laws and regulations governing the sale, distribution and use of guns," including the ban against certain types of firearms and design features such as bump stocks which were banned by the ATF in 2018.
"Our industry is the most heavily regulated industry in the country," Mark Oliva, a spokesman for the National Shooting Sports Foundation, told the Washington Post. "No other industry is regulated at the federal, state, and local level to the extent our industry is regulated, which include design and performance standards."
Rounding out his analysis of Booker's statement, Kessler wrote, "Firearms, at just about every level, are highly regulated in the United States. Booker is calling for another level of regulation, but he can't suggest toy guns are even more highly regulated."

But he can because he believes liberals are stupid. And in a way, when it comes to the Second Amendment and firearms, they are.

Airport baggage handler pleads guilty to stealing guns from passenger luggage

Deshawn Antonio Kelly
Portland, OR -- A former Portland International Airport (PDX) baggage handler hired through a third-party, has pleaded guilty to charges that he stole guns from passengers’ bags last year.

The thefts occurred from August 19, 2018 to September 17, 2018 and during the period Kelly has been accused of stealing six guns from checked-in luggage from PDX.

According to reports, the weapons included three 9mm pistols, two .40 caliber pistols and a .45 caliber pistol.

Police suspected Kelly of stealing the weapons and set up two pieces of luggage with replica guns inside as bait. Kelly was seen taking the second bag with the firearm and then returning it with the lock damaged.

Authorities searched Kelly’s home where he confessed to the thefts. He was arrested September 25, 2018.

Kelly is a convicted felon and thus, is not allowed to own firearms. He is facing maximum charges of 10 years in prison and up to a $250,000 fine for possessing a stolen firearm, KATU reported.

Sentencing is set for July 29, 2019.

3 men charged in death of 9-year-old killed by stray bullet as she slept

New Jersey -- Three men have been charged Friday with the murder of a 9-year-old girl who was killed last month when a stray bullet killed her as she slept.

Michael Elliott, 25, Leroy Frazier III, 20, and Charles Gamble 18, were arrested and charged with murder, conspiracy, attempted murder and weapons offenses in the death of Jennifer Trejo, on July 17, according to Bridgeton police.

The child died when a stray bullet went through the rear wall of the family's home. Police officials say gunfire erupted after a group of scumwafers standing nearby apparently aimed guns at another group of nearby scumquats. Authorities haven't disclosed a possible motive for the shooting, but you can bet there was no intelligent reason.

Stating the obvious, Chief Michael Gaimari Sr. said, "Nothing will bring Jennifer back, but the fact that those who we believe are responsible are off the street helps reassure the public that these actions will not be tolerated and those responsible held accountable." [Unlike Hillary Clinton and others].

Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said more arrests and charges may follow. She urged anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.

So far, nobody in the NFL or BLM organizations have taken a knee for the violence allegedly perpetrated by this trio of criminals.

Dumb Dems anti-gun plan backfires

A left-wing study meant to expose the perfidy of illegal online gun sales ended up exposing the honesty of gun sellers after investigators tried to set up scores of firearm transactions.

Sorry Dems you need to learn how to get out of your own way.

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), along with Sens. Elizabeth "Fauxcahontas" Warren (D-MA) and Brian Schatz (D-HI) commissioned the Government Accountability Office report to examine how online private dealers might be selling guns to people not permitted to possess them.

They based their efforts on a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) 2016 report claiming that "anonymity of the internet makes it an ideal means for prohibited individuals to obtain illegal firearms."

"Congressional requesters asked that GAO access the extent to which ATF is enforcing existing laws and investigate whether online private sellers sell firearms to people who are not allowed or eligible to possess a firearm," the report said.

After a two-and-a-half year investigation in which agents tried to buy firearms illegally on the "Surface Web" and the "Dark Web," generally letting the sellers know their status as "prohibited individuals" or trying to buy across state lines, it turns out there were not takers, or in this case, sellers willing to do business with them.

The GAO revealed that in their 72 attempts (one for each jihad virgin) outside of the dark web were all "unsuccessful."

"It's just amazing that none of the mainstream media, except for Fox News, covered this story after all the effort the Democrats made," my main man, Vinny Boombots, said. "Un-freaking-believable!"

"Private sellers on Surface Web gun forums and in classified ads were unwilling to sell a firearm to our agents that self-identified as being prohibited from possessing a firearm," the GAO reported. They also noted that in "72 attempts . . . 56 sellers refused to complete a transaction once we revealed that either the shipping address across state lines or that we were prohibited by law from owning firearms." In the other cases, the investigators' website was frozen or they encountered suspected scammers.
"Me no like Thunderstick, Keemosabi"

On the dark web, GAO agents were able to purchase two guns illegally, as the serial numbers on the weapons were "obliterated" and "shipped across state lines." BUT in the attempt to buy the weapons, the agents "did not disclose any information indicating they were prohibited from possessing a firearm."

Based on the findings, the GAO said it is "not making recommendations in this report."

The three Democratic stooges did not reply to Fox News' request for comment on the GAO's findings.

The NRA said that online sales are in fact regulated and called the study an "embarrassment" for the gun control leftists.

"GAO's findings showed nothing so much as that private sellers advertising online are knowledgeable about the law, conscientious, and self-policing.
the NRA said, adding that online gun sales are "subject to the same federal laws that apply to any other commercial or private gun sales."

Dumber than water

Some people are twice as stupid as they are arrogant.

Damarcus (pronounced "Dumbarcus") Davis went online a did a video entitled "Rapper Threatens Trump."

In the video, the rapper brandishes firearms and raps, "I really want to go to war with Donald Trump because Donald Trump is tryin' to take food stamps from my momma and that's all the (#@$%) she's got. Let Donald Trump know it's up over here. We want war; we're going to declare war."

But stupid is as stupid does.

Davis' firearms were not purchased by him. In fact, the weapons were stolen from Meaux Guns and Ammo, a store that was burglarized in July of last year and owned by Joe Meaux, a "Sons of Guns" reality TV star. When he saw the idiot Davis doing his rappy thing, he recognized the weapons, realizing they were the ones stolen last year. He said the guns are "very recognizable."

By the time Meaux called the cops, local authorities and Secret Service were already aware of the Instagram video featuring Davis, 22, who goes by the name of "Maine Musik." They didn't know at the time that the weapons were stolen, but any threat to a presidential candidate is followed up and taken very seriously.

The rapper also makes a cloaked reference to ISIS in the video, making him a finalist in the "America's Got Schmucks" competition. (He, along with Bernie Sanders and Mitt Romney are all head-to-head as of this week.)

Davis was stopped on June 3rd in Baton Rouge when he ran a stop sign, proving once again that he has the mental capacity of an empty soup can. There had been a warrant for his arrest from an undisclosed incident that occurred last year.

Davis was charged with multiple weapons counts and drug charges for non-medicinal purposes. It is believed that he wasn't part of the gun-theft operation--there are three men facing prosecution for that crime. He posted $23,000 bail and was released the same day, but his charges include possession of stolen guns.

When asked what he plans to do in the future, Davis said, "Derp."

Another cop awakens BLM

A Chicago police officer (whose melanin quantity has not been disclosed) shot and killed a man and woman while responding to a domestic disturbance call on Saturday. The location of the scene was on the city's West Side.

One victim, Quintonio Legrier, 19, was pronounced deat at 4:51 a.m. and Bettie Jones, 55, and a neighbor of Legrier and a mother of 5, died at 5:14 a.m. at another hospital.

Autopsies are awaiting scheduling, the ME's spokesperson Becky Schlikerman said.

The shootings occurred around 4:25 a.m. when police responded to the call. They "were confronted by a combative subject," the Chicago Police Department said in a statement.

Legrier's mother, Janet Cooksey, told the Chicago Tribune that her son studied engineering at Northern Illinois State and that he "was going somewhere." She revealed that her son had mental issues and said that her son "didn't have a gun. He had a bat."
Schumer's proposed ban on carpenters

So that made it wrong to shoot him because bats aren't guns.

Well, according to a Breitbart.com report, in 2011 "there was 323 murders committed with a rifle but 496 murders committed with hammers and clubs."

The truth is, we weren't there to see what really happened but it seems that our new "default" position is to blame the cops and not the attackers. In fact, the Associated Press pressed the Chicago PD for more information but received no response. It is unclear if either Legrier or Jones were armed or if there is any video of the incident.

Ms. Cooksey said she wants Mayor Rahm Emanuel to provide her with a personal apology, but she may need to take a number and get in line. "Are we gonna get protected or is the police just gonna keep taking lives?" Cooksey said. "I mean, whose gonna answer these questions?" she asked.

Right now the Chicago PD is under a federal civil rights investigation regarding the video that was recently released showing a melanin challenged officer, Jason Van Dyke, shooting a 17-year-old black person, Laquan McDonald, 16 times in 2014. The video seems very damning but let's not have a knee-jerk reaction to every case that comes into the public view. I'm not saying the police are innocent in this case, but I am not willing to condemn the people who protect us ever day.

I hope this terrible incident doesn't lead to more violence and public unrest and destruction of property. That would be the fault of George Soros.

Not So Fine Stein and the CIA

When a nation is attacked, the people demand that their government provide them with safety--no matter what it takes. On September 12, 2001 nobody warned the CIA and FBI to go easy on those who killed 3000 Americans.

Most countries act the same way when they're attacked. People want results: they either want the terrorists captured or killed, and those captured must be made to talk if future danger is to be avoided. "Just get results; we don't care how you do it."

There are no more patriotic people in the world than those who work for the CIA. And to call them out on "torture" after all this time since 911 is disingenuous, and as Jonah Goldberg said on Fox News'  "Special Report with Bret Baier" today, it is "nakedly, intellectually dishonest."

But I see this dishonesty coming from the left in other cases, like Benghazi. We have actual witnesses who were there, fighting, dying, and trying to defend the compound where four Americans were killed on a different 911. The left didn't want to hear it because it made their leaders look as ineffectual, which of course they actually are.

With the CIA report, Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) attacked the interrogation methods used to protect our nation, but didn't have anyone from the CIA there to defend the agency. This is a person who on one hand, says she is for strict gun control, but packs her own heat.

When the riots took place in Ferguson, MO, Obama put down the police, not just there, but in America. Perhaps he learned to distrust them at a time marijuana use would have gotten him tossed in prison, like a common drug-user. Then when our so-called president had a "sit down" with community leaders, along with that race-baiting Al Sharpton, he didn't have the police department of Ferguson represented at the meeting to discuss strategies. It was a message that cops are the problem, not the thugs who rob stores, disobey the law, disrupt traffic and refuse to comply with a police officer.

Do you see a pattern here?

I put up a photo out on Twitter today of three cops, each holding up a sign which, when read together said: "Cops Are People Too."

A liberal twit responded to me by writing: "No they aren't."

I simply sent him a photo of a saying: "If you've voted for Obama twice, you're too dumb to argue with." I was surprised nobody else attacked me for being racist--it's all they have to make themselves sound like they take the moral high road.

But this is what America is becoming--the home of the anarchists and thankfully patriots, people with conservative values who don't say "holiday" for "Christmas," and don't think it's terrible if their child chews a cookie into the shape of a gun. The left loves guns in their movies, and carry guns for their personal protection, but they don't want you having a gun.

Listen to me . . . I'm really rambling tonight.

Thanks for reading this.

A Dozen Questions by a Conservative

1. If Starbucks can refuse service to gun owners, why can't a photographer refuse service to people they don't want to serve? What about bakery owners? Starbucks is anti-gun and believes that they have the right to refuse people service, even the police who may be carrying guns and simply want a cup of bitter coffee.

On the other hand, a Catholic parade, Saint Patrick's, lost the sponsorship of Diageo, the parent company of Guinness and Heineken, and Sam Adams Beer, in New York City and Boston, respectively. The parade organizers refused to make the parade an endorsement for gays advertising their sexuality and the beer companies rescinded their sponsorship. Gay banners announcing sexual orientation have nothing to do with the parade.

2. Why do people who attack God, symbols of religion, and Christianity more specifically, fail to attack Islam, and even defend it in some cases? I suspect the answer is simple: our Judeo-Christian practices are peaceful and make for easy targets. Islam, on the other hand, is not so peaceful, especially when even mildly criticized. But maybe I'm misguided. What do you think?

3. How has president Obama's policies made America stronger, safer, and respected by the world community?

4. Why is there no outcry from women's organizations like NOW, against the treatment of women in Islamic countries?

5. Why hasn't gay or lesbian groups like GLAAD spoken out against the treatment of gays in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and other Muslim nations? They complain like hell when we refuse them the chance to march in our straight parades, but maybe if we did the same thing they do in Iran, hang them from public scaffolding for their crime against Allah, they'd sing a different tune. Maybe a show tune.

6. Why do liberals say the discussion is over about climate change? And why did they change the term to "global warming?" All of the facts are not in, and much of what we know is only theory.

7. Why hasn't congress done anything of substance to Hillary, Holder, and Lerner?

8. Why isn't there a real outcry, a livid response, about the fact that a number of people of the Muslim Brotherhood have visited our White House and met with Obama and nothing was revealed about the substance?

9. Why don't conservatives boycott companies that espouse anti-American and/or anti-Constitutional sentiments?

10.Why do we allow politicians to skirt around the issues and refuse to answer questions?

11. Why do liberals think that blacks should only vote the way they would like blacks to vote? Do they believe that blacks should not have free will?

12. Has Jay Carney ever told the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? What about his boss?

Weapon Control and Idiots

If you're going to try and legislate gun laws it might be a good idea to know what a gun is. Of course, if you were in the military, you never called a weapon a "gun," because one is for shooting and one is for fun, as they say, but you get the drift.

How Liberals See All Guns
Colorado Rep. Diana DeGette, a Dumbocrat, hasn't a clue of what a gun is, much less what a "magazine" is, and she has even less of a clue as to how they work--but she wants to be able to regulate them. She couldn't regulate her house thermostat. Here's the dimwit's quote: ”I will tell you these are ammunition, they’re bullets, so the people who have those now they’re going to shoot them, so if you ban them in the future, the number of these high capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there won’t be any more available.”

Let us pray that people of the lawless pursuasion do not figure out that once their weapons magazine is spent of bullets (military guys know them as "rounds"), they can go to the bullet store and buy refills, just like they can for their ballpoint pens.

And let's not tell New York Govenor Cuomo that it's generally a bad idea to legislate the police out of their guns while doing nothing to stop those who might use guns to put holes in them with illegal firearms. He had to repeal his own law--the greenies must be upset about his waste of trees.

Now we have a scary term that sure to frighten the bejeezus out of folks from the left: "ASSAULT WEAPONS." These are scary looking rifles, generally semi-automatic, but they look like they can take out a platoon of Recon Marines and SEALs, and whenever a gun control advocate sees one, she or he experiences the vapors and may swoon uncontrollably. But what is an assault weapon really? Aren't all weapons assault weapons? The term is used by the left to make semi-automatics sound like granade launchers, flame throwers, and bazookas (that would be a 3.5 mm rocket launcher to you ex-marines).

If just one teacher, janitor or administrative staff had a firearm at Sandy Hook on that fateful day, Adam Lanza would not have been able to kill as many as he did. The number of rounds in his weapons had nothing to do with the number of innocents slaughtered. It was the fact that there was nobody able to retaliate. No gun control law would have done anything to have stopped him--only a firearm would have.

The problem is not gun control laws. The problem is mental health issues and the way violence has become part of our entertainment in the movies and videos. The problem is also the idiots who refuse to actually look deeper into what may be the causal stimuli to the violence because the entertainment industry makes huge financial contributions that keep these idiots in power.

Guns, Country and Anti-Semitism on MSNBC

The anti-Second Amendment liberals are still at it with their attempts at taking away the rights of legal gun owners. New York Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, has whipped out his wallet and spent $12M on national ads to bolster support for gun control. The ads run in 13 states where Nanny Bloomie hopes to win the support of senators who might be on the fence with this issue. The talk about assault weapons is gone from the discussion, but now the Bloomster wants universal background checks.

Some on the left want gun retailers to keep background records and check them when a purchase is made. That's putting law enforcement into the hands of the retailers, and that's never a good thing, but I rarely blame liberals of being guilty of suggesting a good thing.

So, who will be keeping check on those who are keeping check? Who will decide who can and cannot get guns? What determines a person's rights or restrictions from gun ownership? Only the Shadow knows.

On MSNBC (aka PMSNBC), panelists concluded that anyone who might oppose Bloomberg, would probably be doing so out of anti-Semitism. Not that the notion of upholding the US Constitution could possibly be a reason. The two people who discussed this were Mike Barnicle and Al Sharpton.

Don't you love it when liberals do not allow the lacking of facts to stand in the way of their claims? Rather than having an honest, intelligent discussion on gun control, these mouth-breathers pull out the race card. But when they make racially charged statements themselves, they get a free pass with the mainstream media. Liberals claim to be the party for all the people while the GOP are racist old white men. Let me ask you this: was Obama's landslide victory with the black vote based on what black people knew of his ability or was it due to their own racial bias? This may sound like an unpopular thing to say, but let's face it, many black voters admitted to voting for Obama simply based on his skin color.

And here we have Al Sharpton discussing anti-Semitism as if he has the market cornered on racial harmony. Ha! Who better to discuss anti-Semitism than Sharpton? Do you remember the racial riots of 1991 in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY? A Jewish man accidentally hit and killed a black child with his car, which started the riots with Sharpton at the helm. He was quoted as saying: " If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house."

I wonder if the very right Reverend Sharpton, a man of the cloth, feels sorry he ever said those words. He never apologized. Maybe the cloth he's a man of is simply a rag.

Gun Control, Mental Illness, Crime and POTUSment

Guns don't kill people; Democrats kill people. Whenever a Democrat votes against an American's right to protect herself, some innocent person dies. Okay, I'm exaggerating but there is an element of truth in this.

Mental illness in the brain of a person with a weapon, be it a pistol, assault rifle, meat cleaver, or Chevy Volt, kills people. We need to ensure that the dangerously mentally ill never have access to legal guns, but if they do bodily harm, then they must be taken out of mainstream society. By doing this, we keep America safer, and increase the chances of a strong GOP comeback when the mentally ill lose their right to vote.

People with criminal pasts must know that if they commit a gun-related crime, they will go away for a long, long time. This will, in part, make the streets safer, and remove several politicians from power. It will also deter some amount of future crime and when it doesn't , at least the perpetrator will be out of commission for years.

Background checks should be serious background checks. If someone fails the check, he or she will forever be denied the use of a firearm. For those people who refuse to allow for a background check, (President Obama comes to mind), they should be denied gun access.

Finally, I believe that no politician or person of public influence should be allowed to advocate for gun control if he or she owns a gun or had owned a gun in the past, or if he or she, or his or her kids are protected by people with guns--President Obama, Diane Feinstein, Gabby Giffords, Joe Biden and most of the Democratic party come to mind.

My latest novel, Jihad Joe, is about Islamic terrorism and suspense.  In it I challenge the precepts of the religion through my protagonist, Zed Nill, a journalist, captured by terrorists and who is destined to be killed if the American President refuses to release three Gitmo prisoners.  Of course, American policy demands we never give in to terrorists, and for Zed, the clock is ticking.

FBI evidently confronted Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell over the weekend and hoo boy

It has been a rough stretch for former Rep. Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell . You know, the guy who's known for the fart heard round...
