Red State ditches Pride Month, swaps it for "Nuclear Family Month"

Tennessee’s had enough of this LGBT Pride Month nonsense, guys. They’re done. Starting now, June is officially “Nuclear Family Month” in the Volunteer State.

Republican Governor Bill Lee just signed a resolution declaring June a time for Tennesseans to celebrate the nuclear family, defined plainly as a husband, a wife, and any biological or adopted children. The resolution sailed through the Republican-dominated legislature. It cleared the House 72-18 last year and passed the Senate 26-4 just last month. No surprise there.

“The nuclear family, consisting of one husband, one wife, and any biological, adopted, or fostered children, is God’s design for familial structure and has been the bedrock of society since the creation of the world,” the resolution states. 

What an interesting concept.

“Tennessee’s values do not align with the humanistic, globalist ideologies of the World Health Organization, the United Nations, and like-minded organizations that fight for population control through the means of promoting sterilization and abortion practices,” the Tennessee resolution continues, adding, “The nuclear family is under attack in our beloved State and nation, and it is our responsibility to uplift, protect, and support values that help Tennessee prosper.”

The resolution doesn’t sugarcoat the damage either. It points straight to the devastating results kids often face growing up in fatherless homes. It even cites a 2016 study showing that of 56 school shooters sampled, 82 percent “were raised in an unstable family environment or without both biological parents together.”

Of course, the usual leftist outrage machine kicked into high gear the second Governor Lee put pen to paper. The LGBT activist group GLAAD called the Tennessee lawmakers who passed this “clueless.”

“The strongest families are grounded by love,” a GLAAD spokesman told the LGBT news outlet The Advocate. “Lawmakers trying to exclude and intentionally harm some families should be recognized as actively harming all by not focusing their time working for an inclusive Tennessee where all are welcome and can succeed.”

Let’s get one thing straight here. June has been nationally recognized as Pride Month ever since Bill Clinton signed that declaration back in 1999. After the Supreme Court’s 2015 gay marriage ruling, the whole thing exploded. Companies, organizations, you name it, they were shoving rainbow flags and LGBT messaging down everyone’s throats all month long.

But last year, Americans finally started pushing back hard against the nonstop LGBT parade, especially the push for transgender procedures on kids. Some big corporations quietly dialed back their Pride Month madness. Then came the 2024 election. President Trump’s victory made it crystal clear: people are sick and tired of the Democratic Party’s obsession with these talking points.

And Tennessee? They’ve been leading the charge. They were one of the first states to ban gender procedures on children, stop schools from hiding kids’ so-called “transitions” from their parents, and crack down on drag queen shows in public or anywhere kids might be around.That’s not hate, folks. That’s common sense. 

That’s putting families first, as it should be.

New Tolerance Campaign offers $1 million to Queers for Palestine to hold parade in Gaza

A U.S.-based watchdog organization called The New Tolerance Campaign (NTC) made a one million dollar offer on Monday to "Queers for Palestine" as well as any LGBTQ organization to host a Gay Pride Parade in Gaza or Judea and Samaria.

“This isn’t a joke. It’s not a publicity stunt. Our offer is real,” Gregory T. Angelo, the organization's president said in a statement on the group's website. 

Angelo, who is gay, is also the former president of Log Cabin Republicans.

“For the past year, we’ve seen so-called ‘Queers for Palestine’ and allied LGBTQ organizations insist that the Palestinian territories are ‘inclusive’—well, here’s their chance to prove it. We’re willing to put our money where their mouths are to underwrite a Gay Pride Parade in Gaza or the West Bank.”

Crickets.

NTC has received commitments for the $1 million prize, which is being offered to potential parade organizers. The offer is good for the next six months, until March 16, 2025, but there's a better chance for a gay person to get hit by lightning, twice, at 12 noon in Times Square on New Year's Day.

NTC said it had attempted to publicize the campaign with full-page ads in The New York Times, The Washington Post and USA Today. All three newspapers declined, citing safety concerns and the fact that they're cowards.

Times Square in New York City also declined to run the ad, saying the buildings displaying it could become targets of violence, which kind of proves the point, doesn't it.

NTC then began circulating mobile billboards on Monday around Columbia University on the Upper West Side of New York City; the headquarters of the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, D.C.; and the University of California, Los Angeles.

The mobile billboards will run through Wednesday. Additional dates may be announced, the organization said.

“The campaign will also allow everyday Americans to send messages directly to the senior leadership of the Human Rights Campaign, GLAAD, the LGBTQ Task Force, and Advocates for Trans Equality encouraging them to actually fight for LGBTQ rights rather than taking a political stance against the only gay-friendly country in the Middle East, Israel,” NTC’s website stated.

“This project highlights the lack of human rights for the LGBTQ community in Palestine while noting LGBTQ people live freely in Israel. It also has the potential to be a breakthrough moment for pluralism and peace throughout the Arab world,” said Angelo.

According to the rules of the challenge, the recipient group must be a recognized U.S. 501(c)(3) organization; the parade march must be at least one kilometer (approximately half a mile) in length and on a major street; and include at least 200 participants, 80% of whom must be Palestinian, and from Judea and Samaria or Gaza.

In addition, participants must outwardly “show” LGBTQ pride symbols or dress, including but not limited to rainbow flags, trans flags, full leather outfits, or drag.

At least half of the parade signs must be in Arabic and the parade filmed by NTC just to avoid any confusion among the members of the religion of peace who will view the parade and may get more involved.

Little boys wear princess dresses? Not!

Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton was attacked by the liberal media for his opinion in a video in which he told his nephew who was wearing a pink, princess dress and covered head-to-toe in princess attire. 

Hamilton tried to explain to his nephew about gender differences and said to him, "Boys don't wear princess dresses."

He was being playful with the boy but had to yank the video off social media and make a heart-felt apology or he would have caught hell from the left for not allowing the child to express himself like a little girl princess.

Hamilton's quick apology for possibly "offending" anybody.

I say, whoever is offended by someone not of your family, giving an opinion about what attire is normal for a boy and girl to wear, should mind their own damn business.

Hamilton's words weren't "inappropriate," as he said in his apology. They were his opinion and he has the right to having one. "I meant no harm and did not mean to offend anyone at all," he said.

Who would be harmed by his words?

We're living in a time where colleges are requiring history textbooks to say whether or not the historical figure being discussed is gay or lesbian. The textbooks do not have to mention which historical figures are heterosexual. 

Hamilton said in his apology that "I have always been in support of anyone living their life exactly how they wish and I hope I can be forgiven for this lapse in judgement."

There wasn't a lapse in judgment, there was normal judgment that used to be perfectly acceptable but with fascistic-like organizations such a GLAAD, a person is castigated for setting gender norms for their own family. It's absolutely crazy.

No doubt Hamilton was being playful with his nephew and he doesn't need to bow to pressure from those on the Left who are trying to dismantle traditional understanding of gender, especially with young children who may be gender confused and need guidance.

Girls are traditionally the princesses while boys the princes. If the Left doesn't like it, they can pound sand.

British "man" is pregnant

Gender dysphoria used to be known as gender identity disorder, but the terminology has changed along with how it's defined in order to be politically correct and avoid insulting the mentally ill population and/or being sued by GLAAD and the like.

Anyway, the Wikipedia definition of gender dysphoria is defined by "strong, persistent feeling of identification with the opposite gender and discomfort with one's own assigned sex that results in significant distress or impairment. People with gender dysphoria desire to live as members of the opposite sex and often dress and use mannerisms associated with the other gender. For instance, a person identified as a boy may feel and act like a girl."

It goes on to say: "The disturbance can be so pervasive that the mental lives of some individuals resolve only around activities that lessen gender distress. They are often preoccupied with appearance, especially early in the transition to living in the opposite sex role. Relationship with parents also may be seriously impaired. Some males with gender dysphoria resort to self-treatment with hormones and may (very rarely) perform their own castration and penectomy. . . " [my italics].

In today's politically correct climate, however, if a man identifies as a woman, and vice-versa, we go along with it and agree that they must therefore be what they claim to be. This was even true in the case of Rachel Dolezal, a white woman who identified as a black woman and hid the truth from her NAACP employer.

Now a 20-year-old British "man" is 4-months pregnant after advertising and getting a sperm donor on Facebook, according to The Sun.

Hayden Cross is still in the "transition process" in which she will mutilate her body (having her breasts and ovaries cut away) to make it appear to be that she is a guy, but plans to have a baby before she is mutilated.

Of course, with all the PC BS, Hayden is legally a man and has begun hormone treatment. The rest of the task of going along with her delusion is being put on hold until after she gives birth.

Hayden, who is unemployed, has for the past 3 years pretended to be a guy, was desperate to have a baby--how very masculine of her. She asked the National Health Service (NHS) to freeze her eggs but they refused to carry out the process, so she worried that she would never have the chance to become a mother father to her own child.

So using her best judgment (to bring a baby into the world without a job nor spouse) Hayden went on Facebook to find a sperm donor. Perhaps she figured that if Charles Manson at the age of 80 at the time, could find a 20-year-old woman to marry him, anything is possible with the Internet.

She was right. A guy brought her his sperm and she used a local hospital's NHS maternity service, and now she's 16 weeks pregnant and plans to have the baby before completing the cosmetic changes to her body to make her think she's a man.

"I'll be a great dad," she said seriously.

She told The Sun on Sunday: "I faced the prospect of not becoming the man I am supposed to be, physically, or a dad. So I didn't feel like I had any choice but to have a baby now then get back to transitioning."

However, due to her mental illness of gender identity disorder, which has been changed for PC purposes, she admits that she feels uncomfortable carrying a child and struggles with the physical changes.

"I found I was pregnant two weeks after the sperm was inserted. It was mixed emotions. I was happy but I also knew it would be backtracking on my transition. It's like I have given myself one thing, but taken away something else from myself in the meantime."

And the dialogue goes on, never mentioning about the baby, how it might be affected by the fact that Hayden is unemployed and will be on the government dole with a young mother who thinks she's a father.

But at least we're all being politically correct about this whole sordid mess.

A boy who thinks he's a girl beats girls in track

If you are what you think, why do we put people who think they're God in mental institutions?

An Alaskan high school student with the gender gear of a guy thinks he's a girl. If he thought he was a unicorn, would he able to use the unicorn bathroom? Of course not--no respectable female unicorn would stand for that and she would impale the guy if he put one foot past the bathroom threshold. 

The guy who thinks he's a girl runs on the girls track team and due to basic genetics, runs faster than most of the real girls on the team. The real girls who lost to this confused guy (or guy who's just saying he's a she to beat the slower girls) are upset that they have to compete against someone with male attributes. 

This was the first time in Alaska's history that a dude competed in the girls' state championships and it's upsetting real girls who aren't built like the guy who thinks he's a she.

This is not a transgender milestone. It is not an achievement. It's a farce.

Haines High School senior Nattaphon Wangyot (aka "Ice")  is an immigrant from Thailand and competed in the state championships in May in the 100 and 200-meter dashes. He also competed in girls' volleyball and basketball in the fall.

Saskia Harrison, a real girl and runner from Hutchison High School in Fairbanks ran against the guy and lost. Her time in the 100 was 14.11 seconds and just missed the cut, thanks to the dude. "I'm glad that this person is comfortable with who they are and they're able to be happy in who they are, but I don't think it's competitively completely 100 percent fair," she said.

The president of the Alaska Family Action, Jim Minnery held a press conference. "We are here today as a voice from the community to ensure that female athletes are not denied the playing opportunities and scholarships otherwise available to them and to make the playing field even again," he said.

He said that "allowing students to play on teams of the opposite sex disproportionately impacts female students, who will lose spots on a track, soccer and volleyball teams to male students who identify as female."

But that should make GLAAD glad. 

Freshman/woman Alia Bales said she had no clue a dude was running as a girl. "I didn't even notice it," she said. 

If it's true that transgender guys will push out real gals from championships, then these effects may go unnoticed and be more difficult to see.

If they are going to allow boys to compete with girls because the boys think that they're girls too, then they ought to go through hormone therapy and level the playing field. Otherwise, they should compete with their own gender until they share female hormones.

Even then, boys will have the muscle mass advantage over girls--it's biology, not sexism.

What's in a Name When You're POTUS

Obama is third on the left

Honolulu: Stanley Chang and Ernie Martin, both leftist councilmen and who are both in the bag for Obama, have dropped their attempts to rename Sandy Beach Park "President Obama Sandy Beach Park." The reasons for the back off is about as clear as to where Barack Obama was actually born.

The beach is popular for bodysurfing and sex in the sand at night, and it was allegedly a favorite of Barack Hussein's when he was growing up in Indonesia where he attended a madrassa, learned his Qu'ran and heard the Muslim call to prayer, a sound he said was the most beautiful in the world.

In 2008, Obama went to Sandy Beach Park, probably for the first time, on one of his mulit-million dollar vacations. (I hope all you taxpayers reading this had fun when you paid for it.)

Martin said in a statement that there were historic and cultural sensitivity concerns about the name change but assured his constituents that there are plenty of beach facilities that still might garner public approval, citing the all men's bath house as one possibility.

GLAAD said they would stand behind Martin on the bath house name suggestion.

Arab Press Can't Believe Muslims Don't Speak Out Against ISIS

The Arab press is attacking the Islamic State terrorists for making the rest of Islam look bad. Many Muslim leaders and Arab pundits are calling the "actions" of IS "cancerous," and that it makes other Islamic jihad terrorism pale in comparison.

Muslim imams and other members of the so-called "religion of peace", such as the the Ayatollah, Osama bin Laden, Anwar al-Awlaki, Imad Mughniyah, Hassan Izz-Al-Din, Ali Atwa, Abdul Rahman Yasin, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Mughassil, Ali Saed Bin Ali El-Hoorie, Ibrahim Salih Mohammed Al-Yacoub, Abdelkarim Hussein Mohamed Al-Nasser, Mohammed Atef, Ayman al-Zawahiri, Mustafa Mohamed Fadhil, Ahmed Ghailani, Fazul Abdullah Mohammed, Sheikh Ahmed Salim Swedan, Anas al-Liby, Saif al-Adel, Ahmed Mohammed Hamed Ali and Mushin Musa Matwali Atwah, to name just a few, were criticized in the past for not condemning terrorist acts against innocent civilians. 

All these terrorists had to say for themselves was that nobody who refuses to worship Allah is innocent. They added, "How do I know? The Koran tells me so." Okay, I added that--it comes from an old spiritual song.

But an editorial in Al-Quds Al-Arabi based in London (where English soldiers are beheaded on the street and there are 'no go' zones galore) called on moderate Muslims to denounce ISIS. "All we have to do to understand the high price that Muslims pay on all levels [for such actions] is to see how Westerners snatch up [such reports on] ISIS's conquests, invasions and despicable actions, and share them on social media in order to tarnish the image of Islam," the editorial read. "We haven't heard one single voice in the camp of moderate Islam condemning taking women prisoner or expropriating peaceful citizen's property and money of ISL in Mosul, or any who distanced themselves from the shocking fatwas that seem to be carefully formulated for [maximum] service to the enemy."

I take issue on that statement. We Westerners don't "snatch up" reports on "ISIS's conquests, invasions and despicable actions" to share them on social media in order to "tarnish the image of Islam;" we put them on social media to DESCRIBE Islam. Some of us even quote the Koran to show why terrorism is taking place in the world. It's part of jihad and the caliphate. Who spoke out against the fatwah on Salman Rushdie for writing Satanic Verses? The same self-righteous Arab press who wrote this editorial said nothing.


Young Muslims do not stand up against ISIS, many actually leave their family to join the terrorist group. And to refer to ISIS as "militants" gives them credibility of purpose. They are terrorists, plain and simple. They kill people who don't view religion, freedom or democracy the same way as they do, and they are totally intolerant.

But it isn't only Muslims who refuse to make their voices heard, it's all the PC liberals, the gays, the women's organizations who pretend to advocate for women the world over. When GLAAD takes a serious stand against Iran hanging gays, when NOW takes a stand about the stoning of women for myriad reasons, then I'll change my tune.

The Associated Press claims that CAIR, "the largest Muslim civil rights organization in the United States has also rebuked the militants and repudiated those who encourage Americans and others to join extremist groups." But CAIR is as much for civil rights for Muslims as they are for defending Israel's right to exist--not at all.

CAIR has been designated as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trials and many of its leaders are associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, an organization whose charter clearly states "It is in the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet." Hassan al-Banna, Muslim Brotherhood founder.

"American Muslims view the actions of ISIS as un-Islamic and morally repugnant," CAIR said. "No religion condones the murder of civilians, the beheading of religious scholars or the desecration of houses of worship. We condemn the actions of ISIS and reject its assertion that all Muslims are required to pay allegiance to its leader."

But the Koran, Islam's most "holy" book, says: "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not." (Koran 2:216) 

Maybe CAIR isn't being straight with us. I don't mean to imply that they're being homosexual with us by not being straight, homosexuality is un-Islamic and merits death.

There are 109 verses that call for Muslims to fight non-believers in Islam. There are also plenty of examples in the Hadith, or biography of Mohammed, the prophet of the religion of peace, but you get the point.

HBO Has BO

When I want to see a fictional representation of current events, I turn on MSNBC. When I want to see a disgusting display of political fiction that shamelessly portrays conservatives as racist scum not worthy of even a modicum of respect, I flip over to HBO.

But I'm kidding. I don't watch MSNBC or HBO.

Recently (but not too recently since my computer crashed and I just got it back a few hours ago) I heard that the HBO series "True Blood" played an episode that showed a fundraiser for a fictional Ted Cruz. There was a political fundraiser at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and it insults the GOP and coined the term "Republi-cunt." 

The real Ted Cruz called it "misogynistic and profanity-ridden," and said he was surprised "HBO is suggesting that hard-core leftists are blood-sucking fiends . . ." I believe he was being politically correct in referring to HBO that way--they are much worse and seem to represent what the left is all about.

There were also plans, I heard, to invite Sarah Palin to appear in a cameo where she would be unwittingly depicted as the surly term implies. Governor Palin was wise enough to decline their offer, but you get the picture.

John Nolte from Breitbart News discussed the situation and remarked " . . . pop culture's mean-spirited and degrading cruelty towards Republican women is now the norm, not the exception."

Where is NOW in all this? Do they only defend Democratic women? Do they refuse to defend Republican women or Muslim women who are abused with genital mutilation and other forms of physical assault, not to mention the lack of basic rights?

I imagine they're hiding next to the boys of GLAAD. (Maybe GLAAD will attack Nelsan Ellis instead of Islam--he quit "True Blood" because he didn't want to play a gay part.

When it comes to real civil rights, the left is not really civilized and they have no real courage.

Everyone Equal Always, Nintendo

We've come a long way as a society. We have elected a black president, made interracial marriage legal, accepted sexual diversity, and have come to the point where if we don't include gay relationships in our children's video games, we  apologize for it.

Nintendo has apologized and swore to include gay couples in their English editions life-simulator video games after coming under fire from gay rights organizations. The company was attacked after refusing to add same-sex relationship content to the game "Tomodachi Life," but then apologized ". . . for disappointing many people by failing to include same-sex relationships in Tomodachi Life." The game is set to be released in early June of this year.

While it was not possible to add gay guys and lesbians to the current game, along with people who had operations to change their external sexual make-up, nor depict cross-dressers and whatever other sexual preferences people choose in their lifestyle, they vowed to make changes in their future games. 

Tye Marini, a gay 23 year old from Arizona, started a campaign last month on social media seeking virtual equality for the characters depicted in the game. It is unclear as to Tye's sexual preferences, but if you ask him or her, I'm sure he or she will tell you.

"Nintendo has taken a first step, but if the company's long-time values are rooted in 'fun and entertainment for everyone,' then it needs to catch up to peers like Electronic Arts, which has been inclusive of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) gamers for years," said Sarah Kate Ellis, CEO of GLAAD, the gay media bully organization.

It is projected that others will get in on the indignation and force Nintendo to include their shtick. For example, it is not inconceivable that vegetarians, Democrats, orthodox Muslims, and others with mental disorders will follow suit.

Why not? We all have equal rights, right?

I honestly have nothing against people with different sexual preferences, but just as I don't advertise mine, or march in "Straight Pride" parades, I think it's time to give it a rest. When a parade is no longer needed to show the world that you're okay with who you are, only then will you really be okay with yourself and know that you're accepted.

10 Ways to Tell They're Infidels: an Islamic Guide for the Complete Jihadist

Sometimes you just need to be sure that the people you're dealing with are infidels. If you find that they are, you must treat them accordingly and do what must be done. You might think distinguishing an infidel from a Muslim is difficult, but rest assured, it can be done rather easily. So let's begin to see how this can be done.

1. Many infidels wear flag pins. That is, they're patriotic to their country and not to Muhammad, (Peace Be Upon Him). These so-called people are called "patriots," and the current government has been wise enough to undermine them using the IRS and other government agencies. If you see someone wearing an American flag pin, stay clear of them, or try to find a way to call them Islamophobic.

2. They go to church. Not all infidels substitute real religion with their fake religion, but many do. Some attend these churches on Sundays, but some go on Saturdays, like the Jews. Some of the more "religious" go more than once a week, but unlike us, refuse to pray 5 times a day. Instead, they waste their time working.

3. Infidels often have gay/lesbian in the family who have

not been stoned to death or dropped from a high place, as prescribed in the Holy Qu'ran. I know that this is hard to believe, but it's true. In fact, in many countries like Big Satan, gays and lesbians even have organizations like GLAAD. Fortunately, the gays and lesbians who run them support our religion even more than they do Christianity or Judaism. Hard to believe, but there's no accounting for infidels who are also liberals. Hey, that rhymes.

4. Infidels believe in freedom of speech. This is clearly because they do not follow the word of Allah and for this they will die a horrible death and sent to hell, where shaitan will burn them for eternity and their skin will burn away only to be replaced by new skin to maximize the pain, for Allah is all loving, all merciful.

A Dozen Questions by a Conservative

1. If Starbucks can refuse service to gun owners, why can't a photographer refuse service to people they don't want to serve? What about bakery owners? Starbucks is anti-gun and believes that they have the right to refuse people service, even the police who may be carrying guns and simply want a cup of bitter coffee. 

On the other hand, a Catholic parade, Saint Patrick's, lost the sponsorship of Diageo, the parent company of Guinness and Heineken, and Sam Adams Beer, in New York City and Boston, respectively. The parade organizers refused to make the parade an endorsement for gays advertising their sexuality and the beer companies rescinded their sponsorship. Gay banners announcing sexual orientation have nothing to do with the parade.

2. Why do people who attack God, symbols of religion, and Christianity more specifically, fail to attack Islam, and even defend it in some cases? I suspect the answer is simple: our Judeo-Christian practices are peaceful and make for easy targets. Islam, on the other hand, is not so peaceful, especially when even mildly criticized. But maybe I'm misguided. What do you think?

3. How has president Obama's policies made America stronger, safer, and respected by the world community?

4. Why is there no outcry from women's organizations like NOW, against the treatment of women in Islamic countries?

5. Why hasn't gay or lesbian groups like GLAAD spoken out against the treatment of gays in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and other Muslim nations? They complain like hell when we refuse them the chance to march in our straight parades, but maybe if we did the same thing they do in Iran, hang them from public scaffolding for their crime against Allah, they'd sing a different tune. Maybe a show tune.

6. Why do liberals say the discussion is over about climate change? And why did they change the term to "global warming?" All of the facts are not in, and much of what we know is only theory.

7. Why hasn't congress done anything of substance to Hillary, Holder, and Lerner?

8. Why isn't there a real outcry, a livid response, about the fact that a number of people of the Muslim Brotherhood have visited our White House and met with Obama and nothing was revealed about the substance?

9. Why don't conservatives boycott companies that espouse anti-American and/or anti-Constitutional sentiments?

10.Why do we allow politicians to skirt around the issues and refuse to answer questions?

11. Why do liberals think that blacks should only vote the way they would like blacks to vote? Do they believe that blacks should not have free will?

Gay Schmay--Who Cares?

Is there something wrong with me that I get a bit nostalgic over the time when there were movies and other media that didn't have a perfunctory gay moment? Sure, you could say I'm homophobic, Islamophobic, and any other kind of phobic as a way of ending the discussion, but I honestly wish that people kept their sexual preferences to themselves.

A gay basketball player comes out of the closet (as if there are still closets of shame being gay--duh) and gets a phone call from Barack Obama telling him what a hero he is for telling the world he's gay. So who cares that he likes having sex with guys instead of women? For some reason I do not find that kind of admission heroic--there is no risk, nothing gained. I find admitting you're gay to be the new hip, new chic. I find our men and women in the military to be our real heroes.

And I do not have a problem with homosexual people anymore than I have a problem with heterosexual people. I just don't believe it needs to be shoved in our faces. As far as same-sex marriage, I believe it changes the definition of what I've always thought marriage is--but if two people of the same sex want to get married, I don't care. Really. I simply do not care but for some reason I believe that GLAAD wants me to care, wants me to condone it. But I don't condone it and I don't condemn it. 

If people need some kind of pride parade to honor who they are, I suspect they aren't as happy with who they are as they pretend to be. I certainly can be wrong about this, but that's my right.

But if photographers don't have the right to refuse to provide their services to a same-sex marriage, why does Starbucks have the right to provide service to police officers in uniform with their gun?

Everything is Political

Nothing anyone can say will get by without offending someone. Everything seems to be politicized lately. Everything bothers at least one group of people.

The latest Colorado school shooter was a socialist. Phil Robertson is homophobic, in spite of the fact that he used to bible to make his statement about gays. The Washington Redskins name is an insult to native Americans who used to be called Indians but that offended people from India and Indians born here. The New York and San Francisco Giants offends little people who used to be called midgets but were offended by that title. The Broncos, Panthers, and Jaguars probably offends PETA, an organization who likes critters more than they like people. Everyone is so easily offended about everything.

Aren't You Glad GLAAD is so Damn Tolerant?

A&E, as you may have heard, has suspended the Duck Dynasty patriarch, Phil Robertson, from the reality TV show for voicing his opinion to  GQ Magazine. The interviewer asked about Phil`s thoughts regarding homosexuality as well as his thoughts about how southern blacks faired when he was growing up. A&E was well aware of Robertson`s beliefs, but when they got heat from GLAAD, they cowered away like mice from pussy cats. You see, Robertson believes what the Bible says about homosexuality, (that it`s a sin), and the forces at GLAAD weren`t glad that he said it. The not-so-glad GLAAD folks got all in a tizzy and may have pressured A&E to drop the axe on Phil Robertson. 

GLAAD states on their website that they work "with print, broadcast and online news sources to bring people powerful stories from the LGBT community that build support for equality. And when news outlets get it wrong, GLAAD is there to respond and advocate for fairness and accuracy." From this, we can surmise that Robertson's interpretation of the Bible and his beliefs are a misunderstanding of God's word, is incorrect, according to GLAAD. Being gay is okay according to the Bible and GLAAD. Therefore, in order to provide "fairness and accuracy," GLAAD has pressured A&E to fire him. Makes perfect nonsense.
