Democratic Candidate Charged With Terroristic Threat After 'Pulling A Firearm On Government Workers' In Bold Stand For Democracy

HONOLULU—In what campaign strategists are calling "a bold new approach to constituent outreach," Kirill Basin, a long-shot Democratic candidate for Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District, was arrested Friday after allegedly strolling into a government building and threatening officials with a firearm like a true man of the people.

The 40-year-old progressive visionary reportedly entered the Maui County facility around 9:30 a.m., brandished the weapon at two government workers in a spirited display of anti-establishment fervor, then fled the scene before being apprehended hours later.

Authorities described the incident as following "a string of bizarre behavior," which in Democrat circles is known as "Tuesday."

It remains unclear exactly why Basin felt the need to bring a gun to a government office or which specific officials he was "dialoguing" with at gunpoint, but sources close to the campaign insist it was probably about healthcare.

A temporary restraining order was swiftly granted to one Agtunong just hours after Basin's arrest, proving once again that the system works, especially when you're the one filing paperwork instead of waving heat.

Court records also reveal Basin was previously arrested for disorderly conduct on May 2. Undeterred by such systemic oppression, he filed a lawsuit Thursday against Maui Police Chief John Pelletier and Maui County, claiming he was subjected to "prolonged and deliberate infliction of physical, sexual and psychological abuse" during his detention.

Representing himself because apparently no lawyer in Hawaii wanted to touch this with a ten-foot pole, Basin took to his campaign Instagram to proudly announce the suit.‘This is the lawsuit I served today. It basically outlines how 3 police officers tortured me for 14 hours,’ Basin wrote in the Instagram post.

‘That’s the gist. It’ll never happen to anyone again.’

Political analysts say the incident perfectly encapsulates the Democratic Party's exciting new direction: running on platforms of compassion, equity, and occasionally pulling firearms on civil servants. Early polling shows Basin trailing significantly, but supporters remain hopeful that enough voters will see his vision of governance by armed confrontation.

You cannot make this stuff up.

Active duty US soldier arrested on terrorism charges

Honolulu -- An active duty U.S. Army soldier stationed with the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks in Honolulu, Hawaii has been arrested by the FBI on terrorism charges, according to a government official.

The official said the soldier was arrested in regard to having connections with the Islamic State terrorist group.

The official was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity, like most CNN sources do, even when authorization isn't required.

FBI spokesman Arnold Laanui said on Monday that SWAT team special agents arrested Ikaika Kang on Saturday. Laanui said that more information will be forthcoming once a criminal complaint is filed.

This is a breaking story and no further details are yet available.

"No Nazi Trump voters allowed"

It's strange--if you're a Christian baker and feel that it goes against your beliefs to cater a gay wedding, you can be forced to do so. Thus you do not have freedom of association.

But if you're a liberal cafe owner in Honolulu, no problem. Be as intolerant as you like.

The Honolulu Cafe has a bright yellow sign that tells potential customers they cannot eat at the establishment if they voted for Donald Trump. The color of the sign is totally appropriate.

The sign says: "If you voted for Trump you cannot eat here! No Nazis."

The sign is posted on the cafe's Facebook page and has received at least 40 "likes."

One FB person wrote: " . . . The next time you're in Honolulu, eat lunch here, not only are they on the right side of things, the food is delicious and reasonable."

Being on the "right side of things" in politics is strictly a matter opinion. You can hate Trump for what he said about women so many years ago in a "locker room talk" type situation. Or you can hate Clinton for her lies about Benghazi and her illegal private server which compromised national security.

It's up to you to decide which is worse, and overall, Americans across the nation decided on Trump.

One person commented on the sign in an email saying: "It's childish and very unprofessional . . . "The restaurant owner doesn't have to worry . . . I will not be stepping foot in that establishment."

Another said it was in "extreme poor taste."

And it is, if you believe that calling everyone who voted for Trump a Nazi. That's disgusting to conflate what the Nazis did to people who merely thought Trump would actually be better for the country than Clinton, whose likability was in the tank. But then again, she called Trump voters "deplorables," so what's the difference?
Not a Trump voter

Why is it okay for liberals to force religious conservatives to provide services that go against their beliefs, but not for liberals to have to do the same?

Willes Lee, the former chairman of the Hawaii Republican Party and current president of National Federation of Republican Assemblies, told FoxNews.com the sign is discriminatory and harkens back to "racist and hate-filled" days before statehood.

"Remember when Filipinos couldn't go in certain places, or Japanese wouldn't be allowed [in] many homes? And, it didn't matter who they voted for," Lee said, who is of Japanese descent.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser said the cafe was founded by Robert Warner, a former hair stylist along with his wife Jali, who downplayed the "ban."

Jali told FoxNews.com that the cafe isn't asking customers if they voted for Trump, and claimed that even if they see a customer with a Trump shirt, "we don't put anything different [in] your food."

Jali refused to say whether this meant that they spit in everyone's food, just in case they voted for Trump.

Everything has become political. Everything. And it's getting disgusting--even the holidays bring political arguments to the table.

Some customers say that while Jali is soft-spoken, Warner is known to channel the "soup Nazi" persona of New York City Seinfeld fame. " . . . throwing pots and pans," "telling off customers," and "hanging not-so-friendly reminders on butcher paper for his customers to read."

One Yelp reviewer took issue with the sign and wrote: "It was funny on Seinfeld, but this place can rot away. Stay away. Hawaii ain't like this. There's a lot of better places on the island than to have to deal with extra crap like this."

But the hypocrisy is palpable--liberals would be suing the cafe if Clinton's name was substituted for Trump on the sign.

What's in a Name When You're POTUS

Obama is third on the left
Honolulu: Stanley Chang and Ernie Martin, both leftist councilmen and who are both in the bag for Obama, have dropped their attempts to rename Sandy Beach Park "President Obama Sandy Beach Park." The reasons for the back off is about as clear as to where Barack Obama was actually born.

The beach is popular for bodysurfing and sex in the sand at night, and it was allegedly a favorite of Barack Hussein's when he was growing up in Indonesia where he attended a madrassa, learned his Qu'ran and heard the Muslim call to prayer, a sound he said was the most beautiful in the world.

In 2008, Obama went to Sandy Beach Park, probably for the first time, on one of his mulit-million dollar vacations. (I hope all you taxpayers reading this had fun when you paid for it.)

Martin said in a statement that there were historic and cultural sensitivity concerns about the name change but assured his constituents that there are plenty of beach facilities that still might garner public approval, citing the all men's bath house as one possibility.

GLAAD said they would stand behind Martin on the bath house name suggestion.
