El Sayed doubles down on anti-Semitic stance and vows to make America France again

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed has a message for American voters: Israel is not America’s friend, and apparently the best person to explain this is a candidate whose own political baggage keeps generating uncomfortable questions.

But he doesn't tend to answer questions himself. When asked at a town hall meeting whether he denounces Hamas, he did not give an emphatic "yes, I denounce Hamas," but instead said "yes, sure," and then began asking the questioner about his knowledge of the US Constitution [and 'yadda, yadda. squirrel, squirrel'].

In an interview with ABC News (D) on Monday, El-Sayed doubled down on his anti-Israel/anti-Semitic rhetoric, arguing that the Jewish state is not an ally of the United States. His evidence? An analogy involving a freeloading friend who steals money from your children and starts fights with the neighborhood.

“An ally that takes your money to push you into wars you shouldn’t be fighting is not an ally,” he argued, leaving out the uncomfortable issue regarding the October 7, 2023 when Hamas massacred about 1,200 Israeli men, women, children and babies--what people with a functioning cortex would label genocide.

El-Sayed then expanded on his theory of international relations, comparing Israel to a friend who “keeps bumming off [your kids’ money] and then talks about them behind their back and gets them into fights with their other friends.” He evidently doesn't view Israel as a crucial Middle East ally. Perhaps he would like France in that role in the future once the Islamists and communists burn Paris down along with a bunch of other major French cities.

Apparently, decades of strategic cooperation, intelligence sharing, and regional security concerns can all be reduced to the sort of playground dispute normally settled by confiscating someone's lunch money.

“What would you tell your kid?” he asked the reporter. “You’d probably tell them, ‘Maybe that’s not actually your friend.’” Actually, for El Sayed, the Muslim Brotherhood is his friend but he won't admit it.

“I think it’s time for us to realize that Israel is actually not our friend,” he concluded. 'Viva la France and burn baby burn,' his brain whispers.

The declaration offers Michigan voters a revealing preview of El-Sayed’s foreign policy priorities. Israel, a longstanding American ally, our best ally, is to be judged according to a schoolyard morality play, while the candidate delivering the lecture presumably expects voters to regard his own political associations and family controversies as matters requiring considerably more nuance.

The timing is also worth noting.

El-Sayed’s comments follow renewed accusations concerning his sister-in-law, Miriam Jukaku, who was reportedly involved in a federal terrorist watchlist lawsuit during the Obama administration. It's unknown as to whether she has a history of burning buildings in Paris or the USA, but she's what the kids call a jihadist.

El-Sayed dismissed the allegations when speaking to Fox News, insisting that she had done nothing wrong and suggesting that Islamophobia explained her designation.

"You've got this system where folks are guilty until proven innocent because they've got different kinds of names, because of the infrastructure that people like [Michigan Republican Senate candidate] Mike Rogers set up,” he said.

That is quite a defense of due process, although voters might reasonably wonder whether El-Sayed applies the same generous presumption of innocence when discussing America's allies. Israel, at least in his telling, appears to have been convicted without much of a trial.

The Democratic nominee has also faced scrutiny over alleged family connections to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Those allegations have added another layer of controversy to a campaign already marked by his increasingly hostile rhetoric toward Israel.

El-Sayed's remarks have not gone unnoticed among American Jewish leaders, some of whom are increasingly concerned about what his political ascent could mean for Jewish communities in Michigan and beyond.

Rabbis and other Jewish leaders have called on the Democratic Party to adopt a list of “nonnegotiable” principles for Jewish safety ahead of the November midterm elections. Their concerns reflect growing unease over whether a party that has historically enjoyed substantial support from Jewish voters is prepared to confront the consequences of its own anti-Israel rhetoric. Lately, of course, the Democratic Party has voiced enough anti-Israel/anti-Semitic rhetoric to make a skinhead blush.

Meanwhile, the Michigan Senate race has left some Democratic voters searching for alternatives. Students who identify as Democrats at the University of Michigan have recently joined the campaign as well, apparently hoping to influence a contest that has become increasingly uncomfortable for voters who support their party but remain unwilling to accept its hostility toward Israel without question.

For El-Sayed, the strategy seems straightforward: portray Israel as the troublesome friend, suggest that American taxpayers are being taken advantage of, and invite voters to reconsider a relationship that has endured across multiple administrations.

Whether Michigan voters find that argument persuasive remains to be seen. But El-Sayed has made one thing clear: if elected to the Senate, he intends to bring a rather different understanding of America's alliances to Washington, one in which a longtime democratic partner is cast as the neighborhood bully and the candidate making the accusation expects to be taken seriously as a judge of international character.

Is Dr. Oz a wizard or what, in his crackdown on NYC daycare center directors?

FLUSHING, N.Y. — Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz showed up in a surprise visit at two New York City senior care centers suspected of treating Medicaid like an open bar tab, and the staff responses landed somewhere between "the computer did it" and "please come back after lunch when the room looks fuller."

Fox News Digital tagged along as federal officials delivered the kind of warning letters that tend to make billing departments check the exits.

Oz and senior federal health officials handed the notices to Kent Senior Care and Evergreen Adult Day Care in Flushing, Queens, causing several severe cases of loose stools, and not the kind you sit in unless you're very weird.

The visits formed part of a wider sweep that put the FBI, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General, the NYPD and other agencies on the same Tuesday itinerary. More than 80 stops and warning letters went out across the city that day.

Taxpayers who fund the programs received no such courtesy tour.

"The whole experience was suspicious," Oz told Fox News Digital afterward.

Authorities described a broader effort that included arrests, search warrants and moves to halt certain operators from billing Medicaid, although these steps at the two Queens, NY sites were not observed directly by Fox News Digital.

Oz questions senior center director: 'We don't believe you'

The first stop, around 8:30 a.m. at Kent Senior Care, when residents were likely in the throes of being cleaned up, began with Oz walking in and personally delivering the federal letter. The posted maximum occupancy was 70. The room did not appear to be testing that number.

"The bills are much higher than they should be," Oz told the director. "The billing is for more people. It doesn't look very crowded here."

The director claimed that more seniors would arrive later. Oz noted the paperwork suggested something closer to this being the perpetual capacity.

"The bills we're getting are as though it's completely full all the time," Oz said. So something stank, much like these places at 8:30 in the morning.

The director insisted the center billed only for actual attendance and required sign-in sheets. Oz was unmoved.

"You're getting this letter from the U.S. Government because we don't believe you," he told the director.

Billing records indicated five-day-a-week participation. The director said many seniors came only two or three days. When the conversation turned to specialized wheelchair transportation charges, Oz looked around the room.

"I don't see any wheelchairs here," Oz told the director.

Fox News Digital saw seniors using walking aids but no wheelchairs during the visit. Another official noted the billing for specialized transport. The director said some participants had mobility issues after strokes, that wheelchairs were available, and that staff might have reused old codes.

"Probably he just copy and pasted," the director said, lying like an abandoned sofa by Coney Islamd Creek.

Oz then walked over to the mahjong tables set up for the Medicaid-funded program.

"Should the American taxpayers be paying so folks can play mahjong?" Oz asked the director.

The director said the game helped with finger exercise, socialization and memory. Oz answered that the benefit was not free.

"It's free for them, not free for the taxpayers," Oz responded. "Is that what our federal tax dollars for Medicaid is supposed to go to? Or is it life-saving heart surgery? Or, you know, new therapies for cancer?"

Oz also watched seniors walk in without signing anything, despite the stated requirement. He later described the timing.

"People were just walking in there without signing anything," Oz said. "And then after I showed up and he saw what we were doing with my team, he started collecting these documents to be signed." You know, closing the barn door after the chickens made a run for it.

Social adult day care programs can supply activities, supervision, meals and support. Medicaid payment hinges on eligibility and documentation of what was actually provided. The gap between that rule and the observed room proved difficult to close on the spot.

At Evergreen Adult Day Care the pattern repeated.

A floor manager said roughly 200 seniors attended on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and about 150 on the other days. Oz walked the space and offered a different count.

"So I look at maybe 25 people in the whole space now," Oz said, perhaps forgetting to multiply by 10.

The manager claimed that some were in classes and others had left for shopping, the pharmacy or appointments.

"The numbers don't seem to add up," Oz responded.

On wheelchairs the manager first said none were in use, then acknowledged a small number.

"But you said there weren't any, didn't you?" Oz pressed. He compared notes with the other federal officials present.

"I'm struck by how few people are here as well," Oz said. "This makes me wonder how they sustain these billing levels."

The attendance books supplied the next discrepancy. Fox News Digital saw sign-in sheets with names already entered for Oct. 22 and Oct. 23, dates that had not yet arrived. Whether the pages were finished records or advance schedules remained unclear. Let's hope he took photos of the fraudulent-sounding evidence,

Oz alleges organized crime ties to NYC Medicaid fraud. He said federal authorities believed organized criminal networks were paying seniors to appear at facilities so operators could bill for services never delivered. He described individuals he linked to the "Chinese mafia" offering some seniors between $1,000 and $1,200 to participate.

He did not name a specific group or present supporting evidence in the interview. He said billing spikes across the sector had pushed annual spending toward $1 billion.

Sounds a lot like a Minnesota Learing Center, doesn't it?

"We know from the billing here that there's no way this business is running in the way that they claim to be running without something being wrong," Oz told the media outlet.

"Is it an innocent mistake? A hundred times in a row, I don't think so."

He added that proceeds from the schemes were financing other crimes, including money laundering and human trafficking.

"It's really a clubhouse for crime," Oz said.

He said the fraud grew during the COVID-19 period and faulted the previous administration for letting the spending and the suspicious patterns continue.

Democratic New York Gov. comrade Kathy Hochul called the Tuesday actions part of a "massive effort to combat fraud and abuse" and noted that state health officials joined the federal and local effort. While Oz delivered the letters in Queens, searches continued at other sites across the city. Details on the remaining targets, the people involved and any evidence recovered were not available while the investigations continued.

Imagine if the Democrats were in power in the federal government. They would look the other way while holding out their hands for a little greasing.

Change my mind.

Mostly peaceful rioting, vandalism and total mayhem in France

The left doesn't want you to see this

The situation in France has finally devolved into a storm of looting, vandalism, and total mayhem. This has been spurred on by Muslim migrants, as opposed to "students" the left would like us to believe. The media wants us to believe the rioting, looting and destruction, is about the cost of living and education funding. If you believe that claptrap, you're a fool.

With all the rioting and looting, a group of Muslim "students" [not really] take time out to pray to Allah. Ironically, no mosques were vandalized but historical sites such as Marché des Enfants Rouges, in Paris and Limoges City Hall were destroyed on October 12 and 17th respectively,

The Communist News Network (CNN) is calling the worst rioting and destruction France has experienced in years "mostly peaceful." Seriously. And these leftist morons are blaming the cause of the violence, arson and widespread looting on school conditions and the cost of living. Maybe that explains why they're stealing Louis Vitton handbags for example.

And while the mayhem was and is currently taking place, France's President Emmanuel Macron along with his wife [who has bigger balls than he has] went to a Celine Dion concert.

In terms of the destruction mentioned above, Limoges was a 19th-Century City Hall. It was deliberately set ablaze which caused its roof and clock tower to collapse, the structure mostly destroyed by mostly peaceful terrorists.

Limoges City Hall

In other mostly peaceful protests, there's Lyon, where the tourist office was torched. In Marseille, the city hall was stormed, sprayed with graffiti, doors destroyed, furniture damaged and shops in the city, including the Olympique de Marseille, were mostly peacefully looted.

Nationwide in France, between 1,500 to 3,000 shops and businesses were looted or vandalized. Supermarkets, pharmacies, stores, luxury boutiques, electronic stores, cars, bikes, garbage bins, and barricades were peacefully burned.

Not surprisingly, looted goods appeared on resale platforms.

At least two deaths linked to the mostly peaceful protests have been recorded thus far. Mathieu Morat, a 22-year-old police officer was killed by a vehicle while pursuing fleeing mostly peaceful folks. At least two people lost hands from a police crowd-control grenade. A 17-year-old girl lost an eye in Mulhouse.

Roughly 500 to nearly 1,000 officers, gendarmes, firefighters, and paramedics injured (one tally cited ~997, with several serious). Earlier partial figures were lower (150–600+). Hundreds of civilians were also injured in the mostly peaceful clashes.

With these peaceful protests as CNN calls them, we can predict with confidence, that they will once again make an appearance at a city near you. . . unless we act now.

Mahmoud Khalil Runs to the Supreme Court, Hoping for a Judicial Lifeline

Anti-Israel activist Mahmoud "Free Palestine" Khalil is asking the Supreme Court to rescue him from a legal predicament that could allow the Trump administration to arrest him again. After months of legal maneuvering, the Columbia University anti-Semitic scumwafer protest leader is now hoping the nation’s highest court will intervene before immigration authorities get another opportunity to enforce a deportation order against him.

Yes, they hate America but hate it more when told to leave it.

In an X post on Monday, comrade Khalil announced that his legal team had filed a petition, declaring that he has “asked the Supreme Court to affirm that federal courts have the power to hear my case.”

Khalil claims the government has no legitimate case against him and accused the Trump administration of trying to keep federal judges from examining the evidence.

“The government knows all too well that its baseless allegations and smears against me cannot survive the slightest scrutiny in federal court,” the Islamist said. “That’s why it is doing everything it can to keep those courts from looking at my case and to channel it into its kangaroo immigration courts.”

Apparently, when the immigration system produces a result Khalil dislikes, it becomes a kangaroo court. The label is a convenient substitute for addressing the substance of the proceedings, particularly when an immigration judge has already ordered his deportation.

Khalil then broadened his argument into a sweeping warning about free speech, portraying his legal battle as a threat to the constitutional rights of Americans everywhere. Except for the little issue of his not being an American and hating on the government.

“So the question is simple: can the government weaponize immigration laws to punish someone’s speech, then tell federal courts they have no power to step in? If the answer is yes, none of our speech is safe. If the Trump administration can punish someone for pro-Palestine speech, this or any future administration can punish anyone for any speech,” the execrable post-digestive waste of a human said.

That is a dramatic constitutional argument from an activist whose case involves far more than a generic disagreement over political expression.

Khalil, a Syrian-born green card holder of Palestinian descent, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in March 2025 after helping lead anti-Israel protests at Columbia University. The Department of Homeland Security accused him of participating in activities that were “aligned to Hamas.”

The distinction matters. The administration has argued that the immigration consequences of Khalil’s case concern national interests and immigration law, while Khalil insists the government is retaliating against his political speech. His Supreme Court petition seeks to keep federal courts involved in resolving that dispute.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio previously argued that Khalil’s “presence or activities would compromise a compelling U.S. foreign policy interest” and vowed to strip the immigration status of foreign “Hamas supporters.”

“We will be revoking the visas and/or green cards of Hamas supporters in America so they can be deported,” Rubio said.

The administration's position is hardly mysterious. A green card grants a foreign national lawful permanent resident status, but it does not confer immunity from immigration law or guarantee that the government can never seek deportation. The legal question is whether the administration has acted within its authority and whether Khalil can challenge those actions in federal court.

The case has already produced a complicated series of legal reversals and competing proceedings. In June 2025, a federal judge in New Jersey ordered Khalil released from ICE detention. That ruling did not, by itself, resolve the separate question of whether he could ultimately be deported.

In April, the Board of Immigration Appeals upheld an immigration judge’s deportation order. Then, in May, a federal appeals court denied Khalil’s request for a rehearing challenging his detention.

Khalil responded to the appeals court decision by calling it “biased and politically motivated.” His lawyers have maintained that he is pursuing a separate case in federal court and cannot yet be detained or deported.

Now the Supreme Court is being asked to weigh in on whether the federal judiciary can hear his challenge. According to The Hill, the justices will consider whether to take up the case during a closed-door meeting in the coming months. Khalil’s legal team hopes the court will hear it during the current term.

For the Trump administration, the case raises questions about the government's authority to enforce immigration law against foreign nationals whose activities it considers contrary to U.S. interests. For Khalil, it is an opportunity to keep his deportation fight alive and frame the dispute as a landmark battle over free expression.

The Supreme Court has not agreed to hear the case, much less ruled in Khalil’s favor. Until the justices make that decision, his campaign for judicial intervention remains just that: a campaign for another chance in court.

Khalil wants the public to see a free-speech martyr. The administration sees an immigration enforcement case involving alleged activities tied to Hamas. The Supreme Court will have to decide whether the legal questions warrant its attention, not whether either side can produce the most dramatic political narrative.

Washington’s Omar Investigation: Democrats Circle the Wagons While More Shoes Prepare to Drop

Washington has never lacked for political theater, but the latest developments surrounding Rep. Ilhan Omar have given the capital’s drama department enough material to keep the lights on for years. Federal agents reportedly arrived at a sitting member of Congress’s home at sunrise, transforming what might otherwise have been a quiet morning into an unwelcome audition for a legal thriller.

Mike Howell, president of the Oversight Project and a man who appears convinced that the plot has barely begun, suggested that more revelations could be on the way. "I think there's other shoes that are going to drop here," he warned. Washington may soon need a much larger closet.

Howell also took aim at Democrats who rushed to Omar’s defense before the public had seen the evidence. "That's why I think the Democrats really just couldn't resist the temptation to jump out of this before they saw any evidence and just circle the wagons [around Omar]." Apparently, congressional solidarity now comes with an express shipping option, allowing lawmakers to deliver their verdicts before investigators finish gathering the paperwork.

Mike Howell

Howell added that the Democrats’ arguments suggest it is "not all peaches and cream underneath the hood," a diagnosis that would make a mechanic nervous and a congressional ethics lawyer reach for the antacids. Whatever lies beneath the political paint job, Howell believes the public has reason to look more closely.

Then came the question of why a federal judge would approve a search warrant in Washington, D.C., a city where legal scrutiny and political influence routinely compete for the same parking space.

Howell offered a remarkably direct explanation: "They probably got the goods on her."

He expanded on that assessment by observing, "You don't get a federal judge to sign off on something like this in Washington, D.C., of all places, unless there is something that is rather convincing."

It is an argument that leaves little room for the usual Washington ritual of pretending that a judicial warrant is merely a clerical misunderstanding. Of course, a warrant is not proof of guilt, and the investigation must establish whether any laws were broken. But the fact that a judge approved the warrant raises questions that cannot be answered simply by assembling a congressional protection squad and declaring the matter politically inconvenient.

Howell also explained how his organization began examining local nonprofit earmarks, describing the process with the sort of understated simplicity that rarely survives contact with Washington’s public relations machinery. "We said, let's go check out those earmarks."

A radical concept, apparently: examine where public money goes, determine who benefits, and ask whether taxpayers are getting anything in return. Somewhere in the federal bureaucracy, a filing cabinet just slammed shut.

Finally, Howell broadened his criticism to the obligations lawmakers accept when they swear an oath to the Constitution. His assessment was blunt: "This isn't normal. And it only seems normal because it's been happening so much. And I think it's about time we take the oath to the Constitution that members swear seriously,"

He followed that statement with an even sharper conclusion: "If somebody has loyalties to another place, they should not be in Congress."

And Omar had admitted her loyalty to Somalia in the past.

That is a serious charge, and it deserves serious scrutiny rather than automatic acceptance or reflexive dismissal. Allegations about divided loyalties must be supported by evidence, not political insinuation. But the principle itself should not be controversial: members of Congress owe their allegiance to the United States Constitution and their duty to the American people, not to foreign governments, outside interests, or political factions demanding unconditional protection.

For now, the investigation continues, the political defenses are firmly in place, and Washington’s familiar cast of characters is busy insisting that everyone else is either corrupt, confused, or conspiring against democracy.

The public, meanwhile, is left waiting for the evidence, the answers, and whatever footwear Howell believes is still airborne.

Stay tuned. In Washington, the subpoenas may be serious, the accusations may be consequential, and the congressional outrage is practically guaranteed to arrive before the facts.

Iran parliament approves Mehrdad Akhlaghi as defense minister to replace latest goat-heavy predecessor killed by IDF

Iran’s parliament has approved Mehrdad Akhlaghi Ketabchi as the country’s new defense minister, ending months of interim leadership and putting a longtime veteran of Iran’s aerospace and missile industries in charge of rebuilding the regime’s military machine.

Akhlaghi replaces Majid Ebn al-Reza, who assumed the position on an interim basis after former Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh was killed in US-Israeli strikes in February. Apparently, Tehran’s preferred response to losing a defense minister is to appoint another man from the same defense establishment and resume making threats.

Akhlaghi brings decades of experience in Iran’s defense industry, including senior positions in its aerospace and missile sectors. He also brings an existing collection of US and EU sanctions tied to his work in the Iranian military-industrial complex.

Presenting his program to lawmakers, Akhlaghi promised to rebuild Iran’s military-industrial infrastructure, accelerate the development of defense technologies, and expand cooperation with private companies. The regime, it seems, intends to get its weapons factories back in business and make sure the next round of threats comes with an upgraded arsenal.

He also delivered the customary warning to Washington, declaring, "If the American enemy makes another miscalculation, the response of the valiant Iranian people and the fighters of Islam will be surprising and extensive,"

Akhlaghi added that Tehran had taken measures to counter the possible use by the US of its "mother of all bombs" against Iran.
Iran Warns America About America's Bombs

The appointment comes amid reports that the United States has developed plans for renewed military operations against Iran. CNN reported this week that those plans could include the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb, commonly known as the "mother of all bombs," against Iranian energy infrastructure and nuclear sites if President Donald Trump orders a resumption of combat operations.

The MOAB is among the largest non-nuclear weapons in the US arsenal. It is also the sort of weapon that tends to make discussions about military escalation considerably less theoretical.

Akhlaghi responded with another threat, this time suggesting that American troops could pay a gruesome price if Washington launches another attack.

"The US president should focus on ensuring his forces are withdrawn safely from our region. If he drops a single bomb, he will have to see how many of his troops end up being carried out of the region in a horizontal position," Akhlaghi said.

So Iran’s newly installed defense minister has begun his tenure by promising to rebuild the country’s military infrastructure, accelerate weapons development, and warn the United States that American soldiers could come home in body bags.

For a regime whose military establishment has already suffered major losses in US-Israeli strikes, the confidence is remarkable. Tehran is determined to demonstrate that its capacity for threats remains fully operational, even as it works to restore the military capabilities needed to back them up.

Two dead by woman driving truck onto soccer field--one victim was a child

Two people, including a child, were killed Saturday afternoon when a 34-year-old woman drove a truck onto a soccer field in Wichita, Kansas.

Authorities said emergency dispatchers began receiving calls around 3:25 p.m. Central time reporting that a vehicle had driven through a soccer game at Stryker Sports Complex. Police, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene, where two people were pronounced dead—a child and an adult.

“The vehicle involved in this incident remained at the scene and the driver of that vehicle is currently in our custody. There is no additional ongoing threat to the public from that driver,” said Wichita Police Captain Aaron Moses at a press conference. “Our officers along with law enforcement from the area, Wichita fire department, and Sedgwick County EMS responded to the scene,” he added.

Eleven other people were taken to area hospitals. Ten suffered traumatic injuries ranging from bruises to severe injuries, though authorities said none were believed to be life-threatening. The injured included two 5-year-olds, two 8-year-olds, and a 9-year-old girl. Authorities believe the driver had a child playing soccer elsewhere at the complex. “We believe that she had a child who was playing soccer here today, but not on that field,” Moses added. Moses said the woman was “cooperative” with investigators as they worked to determine a motive.

“We have a really good idea of what happened. What we’re working to do now is do the investigation to determine how it happened and why,” Moses said. “We know people want the answers to those questions. We also need to determine the answer to those questions.”

Bystanders pulled the woman from the truck. Two children were reportedly in the backseat.

Wichita police urged anyone with video from the incident to submit tips through its website. “We are seeking any video related to the tragic incident that occurred at the Stryker Sports Complex on October 17, 2026.” the police department said. “Even if you think it might be insignificant, please upload it at the link provided or scan the QR code.”

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly said she was closely monitoring the situation and offered condolences to the victims and their families. “I am very grateful to the first responders on the scene today,” she added.

Obama stepped on the old proverbial rake

Behold, the sheer, unadulterated tragedy of former President Barack Obama discovering that the federal government can be used for political targeting. One can only imagine the sheer emotional toll it takes to clutch one's pearls this hard.

Former divisive President Barack Obama is lashing out against President Donald Trump for the decision to criminally investigate Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar over her immigration status.

"It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say," Obama wailed into the digital ether, completely forgetting that his own administration treated political weaponization like an intramural sport.

After all, why dwell on minor historical footnotes like the IRS aggressively auditing conservative non-profits, or the totally organic creation of the Russia collusion hoax and the Steele Dossier? Those were just whimsical little pranks, unlike today's horrors.

Hey patriots! Please take time to give a click on the ads on this page--it's one way to support my work and you don't need to purchase anything just to look. “The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans,” Obama continued, apparently having checked his own reflection in the mirror and found it entirely invisible.

Naturally, contemporary Democrats are simply trying to save everyone the trouble by openly warning young conservatives that working for the opposition might ruin their lives with legal threats. But do not worry, because the commentariat has already assured us that this is completely different.

Feds Discover Ilhan Omar’s Immigration File Does Not Match Her Public Biography After Reading Sister’s Texts

Ilhan Omar when she isn't angry

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) had her D.C. home raided this week as part of an ongoing immigration fraud investigation. The rumors have circulated for years. The Justice Department has now decided to treat them as something other than background noise. Federal agents searched her home and seized her phone, computer, and passport. Omar’s personal life contains a series of dates and relationships that refuse to line up in the same order twice.

She has misfiled campaign finance reports and her taxes. Staff members may have adjusted her date of birth in 2018 so the naturalization timeline would remain internally consistent. The probe began under President Joe Biden, which removes the usual option of labeling the entire matter a coordinated political attack. A significant development arrived through text messages recovered from the phone of Omar’s sister, Sahra Noor, which officials seized earlier this year.

The New York Times reported:
Federal investigators have been reviewing family text messages as they aim to build a case implicating Representative Ilhan Omar, a Minnesota Democrat, of conspiring to commit immigration fraud, three [anonymous] people familiar with the matter said this week.

The messages were obtained from a phone that officials seized earlier this year from one of Ms. Omar’s sisters, Sahra Noor, a health care executive and author, according to the three people.

The messages contained information that investigators had used to get a federal judge to authorize homeland security agents to search Ms. Omar’s Washington-area residence on Monday, the three [anonymous] people said. Agents spent hours searching the home of the congresswoman and were seen walking away with several boxes of seized items.

The people familiar with the seizure of Ms. Noor’s phone spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss an open criminal investigation that is before a federal grand jury in Minnesota. Federal officials have issued subpoenas in recent days to Ms. Noor and several other people in Ms. Omar’s orbit.

The investigation seeks to determine whether Ms. Omar and her relatives lied or omitted crucial information in immigration paperwork they filed since moving to the United States in the 1990s. They were admitted as refugees after fleeing Somalia’s civil war.

Markwayne Mullin, the homeland security secretary, suggested last month that the investigation could ultimately result in Ms. Omar’s deportation.

The Justice Department on Friday did not immediately respond to a request for comment about Ms. Noor’s phone. It was not clear when or where her phone was seized.

Ms. Noor, who recently published a memoir about her upbringing and the family’s journey to the United States, did not respond this week to several requests for comment. In recent years she has split her time between the United States and Kenya, and she spoke at events in the Minneapolis area this month to promote her book.

A Democrat judge approved the warrant. Judges generally prefer not to attach their signatures to searches of sitting members of Congress unless the supporting material is difficult to ignore. Federal agents also sorted through Omar’s trash in search of DNA evidence, which indicates the inquiry has moved past paperwork discrepancies into questions of biological relatedness.

Ilhan Omar demands her passport be released for some reason, as computers seized in home search by authorities

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) wants federal authorities to return the passport, computers, cellphone, and other personal belongings seized from her home during a criminal investigation. Her attorneys are also demanding recordings of the search, apparently hoping to establish that the government’s investigation is as improper as they insist it is.

On Monday, agents from the Department of Homeland Security searched Omar’s residence after obtaining a warrant approved by a federal judge. According to The Wall Street Journal, agents seized several items, including her cellphone, notebooks, personal computers, and passport.

Omar’s legal team responded Friday with a letter to the Justice Department demanding the immediate return of the property and declaring that the investigation has no legitimate foundation.

“There is no legitimate basis for any suggestion that she has violated any law concerning her citizenship status,” her attorneys wrote.

They then accused the administration of conducting a politically motivated campaign against one of President Donald Trump’s most prominent congressional critics.

“This vindictive, retributive, and politically motivated criminal investigation into one of the President’s chief congressional critics violates Representative Omar’s constitutional rights and threatens the separation of powers,” they added.

Her lawyers also objected to the timing of the search, arguing that investigators deliberately acted during the final weeks before the midterm elections, when voters will decide whether Omar deserves another term in Congress. Justice Department practice has traditionally discouraged overt investigative steps involving political candidates during the roughly 60 days before an election, a guideline Omar’s attorneys contend the department violated.

In other words, Omar’s legal team would prefer that investigators exercise restraint during election season, particularly when their investigation happens to involve Omar.

The Justice Department, meanwhile, offered a less dramatic assessment of its conduct.

“Our attorneys and law enforcement partners complied with all court orders and legal obligations, as they always do,” department spokesperson Emily Covington told ABC News.

Omar’s attorneys also requested copies of any audio and video recordings made inside her home during the search. Whether those recordings will be released remains unclear.

The precise scope of the investigation has not been made public. However, The Daily Wire outlined five possible areas of criminal scrutiny on Wednesday, including questions involving immigration status, citizenship, financial disclosures, and potential conflicts of interest.

One possibility concerns whether Omar’s father committed immigration fraud while seeking refugee status, an allegation that could raise additional questions about her own citizenship, depending on the facts and applicable law. Another involves questions about when her father became a citizen and whether Omar was under 18 at the time.

Neither possibility has been established as a finding of wrongdoing, and the investigation’s actual focus remains unknown.

Other questions involve Omar’s husband, Tim Mynett, and allegations that he used his wife’s congressional position to benefit his firm’s African clients through legislation. Questions have also been raised about the couple’s business interests and financial disclosures.

The couple’s reported finances have attracted attention in their own right. A 2025 filing valued their assets at as much as $30 million, largely attributable to Mynett’s business interests. An amended filing earlier this year, however, reported a net worth of approximately $18,000 to $95,000 and listed Mynett’s businesses as having no value after liabilities.

Those sharply different figures raise questions that may warrant explanation. They do not, by themselves, establish criminal conduct.

Omar, for her part, has framed the investigation as another chapter in her long-running battle with Trump and his administration.

On Thursday, she thanked supporters and constituents who have continued to stand by her.

“Thank you to everyone who stood with me over the years,” she said. “It’s been a scary journey but I have always been grounded in my work and ability to provide exemplary service to my constituents. Trump and his administration have been after me since I arrived in Congress. I have always stood up to him and that will never change. The pedophile protector will never silence me.”

The Justice Department did not immediately respond to The Daily Wire’s request for comment.

For now, Omar wants her belongings back, her attorneys want the search recordings, and the congresswoman insists the investigation is politically motivated. Federal authorities, meanwhile, have yet to publicly explain what they are investigating or what evidence prompted the search.

That leaves a straightforward question hanging over the controversy: What, exactly, are investigators looking for, and what will the evidence ultimately show?

Trump’s New Press Secretary Lasted Days Before Her Credentials Became the Story

The White House press secretary’s job is to defend the president, handle hostile questions from the press, and explain the administration’s policies without accidentally creating a political firestorm. Katie Zacharia managed to run into trouble with all three before she had much time to learn where the briefing room was.

As of October 17, 2026, Zacharia’s abrupt departure appears to have resulted from a spectacularly ill-timed combination of questionable professional credentials, a disastrous debut before reporters, and President Trump’s apparent loss of confidence in his newest spokesperson.

The White House press operation had barely gotten started before the story became less about the administration’s agenda and more about whether its press secretary had been describing herself with a professional title she had never quite legally earned.

To be clear, Zacharia has not been convicted of a crime, and the allegations against her remain allegations. Trump has denied firing her, although he reportedly urged her to reconsider the position before the White House confirmed her departure. Still, the episode has provided a useful demonstration of how quickly a political appointment can turn into a public-relations emergency.

The Lawyer Who Never Passed the Bar

The most damaging controversy concerned Zacharia’s repeated descriptions of herself as a lawyer and attorney.

Zacharia graduated from Pepperdine University’s law school in 2011. She subsequently took the California bar exam, failed, and never retook it, according to her own statements. That means she isn't a licensed attorney, although she played one at the lecturn.

Public-record searches by news organizations reportedly found no evidence that she was licensed to practice law in any U.S. state or Washington, D.C. Nevertheless, she had repeatedly described herself as a lawyer or attorney. Trump actually used the title when announcing her appointment.

There is, of course, a difference between graduating from law school and being admitted to practice law. One earns a degree. The other requires satisfying the applicable licensing requirements. Apparently, the distinction became considerably more important once Zacharia was expected to explain things to the national press.

Zacharia defended herself by saying she had received advice that she could describe herself as a lawyer because she possessed a law degree and had international legal experience. She also said she worked on international transactions while employed by a law firm in Beijing. However, that is pure bull pucks.

That explanation did little to extinguish the controversy. CNN, the media outlet that only seems to do a deep dive when it's against someone one the right, reportedly identified at least 15 social media posts in which she referred to herself as an attorney.

On October 14, the watchdog organization Campaign for Accountability filed a complaint asking the California State Bar to investigate whether Zacharia had unlawfully represented herself as qualified to practice law.

The complaint does not establish that she broke the law, and it is not a criminal conviction. But it does mean that a press secretary who was supposed to defend the administration suddenly found herself needing a defense of her own professional biography.

A Press Briefing That Briefly Became a Career-Ending Event

If the credentials controversy was the first problem, Zacharia’s debut behind the White House podium did little to improve matters. And speaking of matters, it turned out to be a clusterfrack debut.

Her first briefing on October 13 lasted about 14 minutes. She answered questions from only three reporters and appeared nervous and hesitant while reading prepared remarks. At one point, she mistakenly referred to her husband as "my president" before correcting herself.

The White House press secretary is expected to handle aggressive questioning, defend presidential policies, and respond to unexpected developments without making the administration wish someone else had been sent into the room.

Zacharia’s performance reportedly failed to inspire confidence. According to Axios, a White House official said Trump was unimpressed.

There was, however, a mitigating circumstance. Zacharia said she had been given less than eight hours on the job before receiving her briefing book that morning.

That is hardly an ideal preparation schedule for one of the most demanding communications positions in Washington. Even so, the White House had apparently discovered that appointing someone to a high-profile job and preparing that person to perform it are two separate administrative functions.

The briefing was short. The fallout was considerably longer.

Television Interviews Made Matters Worse

After questions about her credentials intensified, Zacharia turned to conservative media outlets to explain herself.

During an interview with Sean Hannity, she acknowledged that she had failed the California bar exam and never retaken it. She explained that she had been preparing to move to China with her husband (not the President) and considered the result inconsequential at the time.

Hannity pressed her on why she had not simply explained that she attended law school, took the bar exam, and failed, rather than relying on distinctions between the words lawyer and attorney.

It was a reasonable question, and one that highlighted the problem facing Zacharia. The more she explained her terminology, the more attention the terminology received.

A press secretary’s first responsibility is to keep the spotlight on the president’s agenda. Zacharia’s interviews instead encouraged the press to examine her résumé, her public statements, and the precise meaning of the titles she had used.

The administration had hired a spokesperson. It had inadvertently acquired another story for the spokesperson to explain.

Trump Was Reportedly Blindsided

According to Axios, Trump was blindsided when he learned that Zacharia was not licensed to practice law in the United States, despite having announced her appointment by describing her as an attorney.

Reports also indicated that he was dissatisfied with her initial briefing and her subsequent explanations.

By October 16, the president was publicly suggesting that she reconsider the position.

“Honestly, if I were you, I’d reconsider.”

Trump also defended Zacharia against media criticism and said he wanted her to have a good life. He denied firing her, even as reports indicated that she was leaving the position.

That distinction may matter to the official account of her departure, but it does little to change the political reality. When a president publicly suggests that his press secretary should reconsider her job after only a few days, the appointment is unlikely to be enjoying a period of renewed confidence.

Three Problems, One Very Short Tenure

Zacharia’s departure appears to have been driven by three overlapping failures.

First, the credentials controversy. Her repeated use of the titles lawyer and attorney became a serious credibility problem after she acknowledged failing the bar exam and never retaking it. The resulting complaint remains an allegation, not a proven finding of misconduct. She was actually sounding like Abdul El Sayed with his claim of being a physician.

Second, the disastrous debut. Her first briefing raised questions about her readiness to serve as the administration’s principal spokesperson. The limited preparation time she described provides relevant context, but it did not prevent the performance from becoming another source of criticism.

Third, the loss of presidential confidence. Trump reportedly disliked her performance and was unhappy about the controversy surrounding her background. Once the president himself became dissatisfied, her prospects of surviving the episode grew considerably dimmer.

There were also reports that her appointment had been rushed and that she lacked strong institutional support inside the White House. Those factors may have contributed to the outcome. The available reporting does not establish that Zacharia alone was responsible for every failure surrounding her brief tenure.

The Bottom Line

Katie Zacharia’s brief time as White House press secretary appears to have collapsed under the weight of two problems that proved difficult to separate: questions about her professional credentials and doubts about her ability to handle the job.

Her repeated descriptions of herself as a lawyer despite never passing a U.S. bar exam became a damaging distraction. Her first briefing did little to reassure the administration, and her subsequent media appearances failed to settle the controversy.

As detailed above, there is no established finding that she committed a crime, and the complaint filed against her has not been shown to have resulted in a substantiated finding of misconduct. Trump has also denied firing her, despite reports that he urged her to reconsider the position. With all that said, I suspect the President did, indeed, fire her or make it so clear that she needed to go that she had no choice.

What is clear is that the White House press secretary’s office is not an especially forgiving place to discover that a résumé, a professional title, and a presidential announcement can become three separate problems.

Zacharia’s tenure was supposed to help the administration communicate its message. Instead, it left the administration explaining why its own spokesperson had become the message.

Killer mother sentenced to only 10 years for murdering her infant

Former University of Kentucky cheerleader Laken Snelling was sentenced to a mere 10 years in prison on Friday after pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter for killing her newborn son.

Lexington police found the infant cold to the touch and wrapped in a trash bag inside her closet after roommates reported loud noises.

The baby was born alive. The Kentucky Medical Examiner's Office determined the cause of death was asphyxiation. When Judge Diane Minnifield asked Snelling how she ended the infant's life, she replied, "I deprived him of oxygen." [Translation: she likely put her hands around his neck and choked him to death.]

Snelling, a senior at the time of the incident, told the court, "I was under a lot of emotional stress and my baby came unexpectedly. And instead of helping him, I ended his life and afterward I cleaned up and didn’t tell anyone."

It sounds as if she planned to dump him into the trash, hoping he, a human being, would be mistaken for garbage.

She also pleaded guilty to abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and concealing the birth of an infant.

Investigators learned she deleted photos of her labor from her phone along with other evidence of the pregnancy. She claimed she remained awake for 30 minutes after the birth, then passed out on top of the baby. When she woke, she saw the infant "turning blue and purple."

Yeah, and if you believe that, you might believe the Brooklyn Bridge is a tunnel.

A living child outside the womb is not a medical complication or an emotional inconvenience. The infant required immediate care. Snelling provided a trash bag instead. The other charges reflect the deliberate effort to hide what happened after the fact.

Ten years is the sentence that followed the guilty plea and this writer does not feel that it's long enough.

Zohran Mamdani's father said Hitler was inspired by Abraham Lincoln

NEW YORK – In yet another shocking discovery that completely baffles anyone who thinks American history textbooks should contain facts rather than anti-capitalist fan fiction, resurfaced footage reveals that Mahmoud Mamdani, the father of New York City's socialist mayor, Zohran Mamdani, once taught an audience that Adolf Hitler took his notes directly from Abraham Lincoln.

The elder Mamdani, a longtime Ivy League academic who surely bills his revolutionary lectures on a taxpayer-funded credit card, explained during a 2022 panel discussion hosted by the Asia Society that America is essentially the grand-daddy of global mischief.

“With the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln generalized the solution of reservations, they herded American Indians into separate territories,” Mamdani, Columbia’s Herbert Lehman professor of government, said. “For the Nazis, this was the inspiration – Hitler realized two things: one, that genocide is doable. It is possible to do genocide, that’s what Hitler realized. Second thing Hitler realized, is that you don’t have to have a common citizenship.”

Naturally, local socialists are thrilled to learn that their favorite historical villain was apparently inspired by the guy on the five-dollar bill.

According to a cozy profile by the New York Times, the younger Mamdani happily credits his parents for a "privileged upbringing" defined by frequent dinner table chats about how much they despise Western civilization. That elite, trust-fund-adjacent upbringing clearly paid off, as the proud democratic socialist has spent his career fighting bravely for the working class from the comfort of trendy coffee shops.

During the same 2022 academic-circle-jerk, the senior Mamdani doubled down on his unique creative writing exercise by claiming that the racist and antisemitic Nuremberg Laws of Nazi Germany “were patterned after American laws.” He also bravely informed the room that Allied forces during World War II had the exact same malicious game plan as the Third Reich.

“The Nazi political project was shared by the Allies, and that political project was to turn Germany into a ‘pure’ nation. A ‘pure’ nation rid of its minorities,” Mamdani said at the Asia Society event. “When the Allies defeated the Nazis and went into Eastern Europe, they began to create ‘pure’ nations. To ethnically cleanse Eastern Europe of Germans – move them back into Germany. One crime doesn’t wipe out another.”

Critics digging into the family archive after the younger Mamdani's primary political upset were shocked to find that the apple does not fall far from the tree of campus radicalism. Footage from a 2021 Young Democratic Socialists of America conference features the candidate sternly instructing true believers never to compromise on mundane goals like “seizing the means of production.”

Meanwhile, in his literary classic, “Good Muslim, Bad Muslim: America, the Cold War, and the Roots of Terror,” the senior Mamdani brilliantly rebrands suicide bombers, arguing that the term is a total misnomer because they are fundamentally identical to any other “soldier[s] whose objective is to kill.”

At press time, the Mamdani family was busy drafting an academic paper proving that George Washington invented traffic jams entirely out of spite.

Bibi responds to false claims by former POTUS Bozo about Israel stealing Palestinian land

JERUSALEM — In a stunning development that shocked absolutely no one, local man Barack Obama took a brief pause from his busy schedule of giving multimillion-dollar lectures to fly to Belfast and explain to the Middle East how it has been doing history wrong for the past four millennia.

Speaking to journalist Susan McKay, the former American president bravely solved the complex geopolitical puzzle of the Levant by reducing it to a real estate dispute. According to Obama, the primary error of the Jewish state was failing to realize that living in your ancestral homeland is actually just a bad vibe for the neighbors.

"The fact is that the Jewish people, for millennia, were oppressed, discriminated against, killed," Obama said, laying the groundwork for a pivot. "Europe was responsible for much of it. They understandably sought a refuge."

However, Obama noted that once the refugees actually showed up, set down roots, and decided not to be exterminated, the local populations understandably responded by saying, "This is injustice, and I want my land back." He further warned that if Israel’s attitude is simply ensuring its own survival instead of surrendering to its neighbors, it has unfortunately ceded moral ground to people who chant "Death to America."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wasted no time addressing the former president's geographical critique, taking to X/Twitter to remind the world where things actually stand.

"The Jewish people are not foreign occupiers in the land of our forefathers," Netanyahu said. "Our history is not a colonial enterprise. Our land is not stolen land. This is our homeland."

Netanyahu characterized the Belfast remarks as a regrettable statement, gently pointing out the fundamental difference between ancient indigenous populations and European expansionism.

AI generated and very believable

"We're not the Dutch in Indonesia... the Belgians in the Congo, we're Jews in Judea," he noted, presumably waiting for someone to check a map of the Roman Empire.

Addressing the actual mechanics of peace, Netanyahu pointed out a minor speed-bump in the negotiation process: the people currently screaming "Death to Israel" and "Death to America."

"Regarding the path to a peace agreement, Netanyahu said that the obstacle to peace is not Israel, but rather the enemies in the region shared by Israel and the United States," officials confirmed, highlighting an ongoing refusal by hostile regimes to recognize a Jewish state inside any boundary whatsoever.

"We are the 'Little Satan,' you are the 'Great Satan,'" Netanyahu added, summarizing the warm diplomatic overtures frequently received from Tehran while noting that both nations remain tasked with defending a common civilization.

"A peace built on illusions will crash against the rocks of Middle Eastern reality," Netanyahu concluded. "Israel will not gamble with its survival to accommodate those who refuse to accept the facts of history, to accept our right to exist, or who wish to appease terror."

"We certainly do not; we never will."

Meanwhile, Obama urged the citizens of Israel to completely rethink their future strategy by abandoning walls and finding a more moral way to defend themselves, such as politely asking hostile actors to please stop trying to wipe them out.

El Sayed doubles down on anti-Semitic stance and vows to make America France again
