Lordy, Lordy, Comey indicted for alleged threats against Trump

Former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted for a second time by the Justice Department. The charges stem from that unforgettable May 2025 Instagram masterpiece: a photo of seashells arranged in "86 47" formation on a beach, evidently during one of Comey's famous nature walks.

Comey is charged with "knowingly and willfully making a threat to take the life of, or inflict bodily harm upon, the President of the United States and knowingly and willfully transmitting a communication in interstate and foreign commerce that contained a threat to kill President Donald Trump," according to the indictment.

Both charges, released Tuesday by the DOJ, carry up to 10 years in prison. This follows a predictable wave of Republican criticism and Trump administration officials pointing out that a former FBI boss posting what sure looked like a coded hit on the president might be, you know, a problem.

"I think it's fair to say that threatening the life of anybody is dangerous and potentially a crime threatening the life of the president of the United States will never be tolerated by the Department of Justice," Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche told reporters during a news conference without going into specifics of the case.

"While this case is unique and this indictment stands out because of the name of the defendant, his alleged conduct is the same kind of conduct that we will never tolerate and that we will always investigate and regularly prosecute," he added.

In the slang often used in the service industry, to "86" something means to eject, cancel or get rid of it, kind of the similar expression: to 'deep 6' something.  And Trump is the 47th president. A reasonable person familiar with the circumstances would interpret this image as a "serious expression of an intent to do harm" to the president, per the charges.

The indictment also includes a Forfeiture Notice. If convicted, Comey must forfeit any property or proceeds derived from his alleged unlawful activities to the government.

A grand jury issued an arrest warrant for Comey. Blanche said he expects communication with Comey's legal counsel.

U.S. District Judge Louise Wood Flanagan, a George W. Bush appointee, has been assigned to the case.

"Well, they're back. This time about a picture of seashells on a North Carolina beach a year ago," Comey said in the 39-second clip. "But nothing has changed with me. I'm still innocent. I am still not afraid and I still believe in the independent federal judiciary. So let's go."

Comey added that it was "really important that all of us remember this is not who we are as a country."

"This is not how the Department of Justice is supposed to be. And the good news is we get closer every day to restoring those values," he added.

In a statement to Fox News, Comey's lawyer, Patrick Fitzgerald, said, "Mr. Comey vigorously denies the charges contained in the Indictment filed in the Eastern District of North Carolina. We will contest these charges in the courtroom and look forward to vindicating Mr. Comey and the First Amendment."

Comey removed the social media post of the shells the same day it was uploaded, claiming he had misinterpreted the shells as a general political message.

"I posted earlier a picture of some shells I saw today on a beach walk, which I assumed were a political message," Comey wrote in a subsequent post. "I didn't realize some folks associate those numbers with violence. It never occurred to me, but I oppose violence of any kind, so I took the post down."

Following the post, Comey was questioned by the U.S. Secret Service in Washington D.C. At the time, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said the former FBI chief should be "put behind bars" for allegedly "issuing a call to assassinate" Trump.

In an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier, Trump rejected this explanation.

"He knew exactly what that meant. A child knows what that meant," Trump said. "If you're the FBI director, and you don't know what that meant, that meant ‘assassination,’ and it says it loud and clear."

House Judiciary Ranking Member Jamie Raskin criticized the move by the DOJ, while recalling Trump's own remarks about Democratic lawmakers who urged military service members to disobey unlawful orders and his statement about former Rep. Liz Cheney.

"Trump's DOJ just criminally indicted James Comey for a beach photo of seashells and no other evidence cited," he said. "If that’s a crime in America, then what is calling the free speech of six Democratic Members of Congress ‘seditious behavior, punishable by DEATH’? What is suggesting a former Republican Member of Congress should have to ‘face nine barrels shooting at her’ with ‘the guns trained on her face’?"

This second indictment against Comey comes just hours after a federal judge in New York allowed a separate lawsuit brought by his daughter, Maurene Comey, to move forward against the DOJ.

Maurene Comey, a former federal prosecutor, is suing the DOJ over what she describes as an unlawful dismissal. Her lawsuit alleges she was terminated "solely or substantially because her father is former FBI Director James B. Comey, or because of her perceived political affiliation and beliefs, or both."

Comey was fired by Trump in 2017 during his first term over the handling of the Russia investigation. Since then, Comey has been a vocal critic of the president.

In September 2025, Comey was charged with lying to Congress regarding press leaks. However, a federal judge dismissed that case after ruling that the prosecutor involved had been improperly appointed. Comey’s legal team has declined to comment on this latest indictment.Earlier this month, Blanche said Trump has a "right" and a "duty" to influence federal investigations, including those involving his political enemies who probed him in the past.

"We have thousands of ongoing investigations and prosecutions going on in this country right now. It is true that some of them involve men, women and entities that the president in the past has had issues with and believes should be investigated," Blanche said at a press conference. He previously dismissed the notion that the DOJ has improperly been going after Trump opponents.

On April 14, the DOJ's Weaponization Working Group published a report accusing the Biden administration of weaponizing federal law.

Poor Jim. The seashells were just innocent little shells, you guys. Nothing to see here except a guy who ran the FBI deciding to play amateur assassination semaphore on Instagram. The left is already melting down, because of course they are. This is going to be fun.

"Wind Beneath My Dress" singer makes disgusting remarks about W Virginians being "poor, illiterate"

It's one thing to disagree with a person's political ideology, and quite another to attack that person ad hominem along with the people of his state because of those disagreements.

That is exactly what Bette Midler did when Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) voted the way his constituents wanted him to vote: against the "drunken sailor in a whorehouse" spending bill known as Build Back Better, which would have cost the taxpayers somewhere in the neighborhood of three trillion dollars with a future spending that would just keep going and going.

On Monday, Midler took to Twitter to attack Joe Manchin--she tweeted:
"What #JoeManchin, who represents a population smaller than Brooklyn, has done to the rest of America, who wants to move forward, not backward, like his state, is horrible. He sold us out. He wants us all to be just like his state, West Virginia. Poor, illiterate and strung out."
What a piece of work.

While Brooklyn has 2.9 people living under the fist of Mayor Bill de Blasio for another few days, Manchin's constituency of about 1.8 million people are represented by him and his vote against BBB was for them, not for people in Brooklyn. That's what he is elected to do, not what Bette Midler wants him to do.

And it's no big surprise that he voted against the BBB--he said he would months ago if his party didn't cut the spending down. Why are they acting surprised?

After her anti-West Virginia tweet, Midler, 76, began taking a lot of heat for the bile she spewed. She realized the best thing to do would be to apologize for her thoughtless remarks about West Virginians she cruelly judged but never even met:

"I apologize to the good people of WVA for my last outburst," she tweeted. "I’m just seeing red; #JoeManchin and his whole family are a criminal enterprise. Is he really the best WV has to offer its own citizens? Surely there’s someone there who has the state’s interests at heart, not his own!"

So her apology included an attack on Joe Manchin again, and now his family.

What a grody shoal [see Urban Dictionary] Midler shows herself to be, and it wasn't long before she attacked Manchin again. "His indifference is immense. Like the rest of his family, he hasn’t a shred of conscience," she wrote.

It's obvious Midler knows nothing about Joe Manchin other than the fact that he didn't vote the way she wanted, or the way people who are the least affected by gross inflation wanted him to vote. Attacking his family is a childish reaction and speaks volumes about Midler's offscreen character.

Manchin appeared on "Fox News Sunday," He told host Bret Baier that he had spoken to alleged President Biden, House Speaker Nancy "Dancing Hands" Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck "Nostrils" Schumer (D-NY) but they couldn't reach an agreement in BBB. They wanted to blow out the spending and go full commie and this didn't sit well with Manchin, who had said months ago that he would not vote for such an irresponsible piece of legislation.

"I've done everything humanly possible," Manchin said, explaining how hard he has worked to try to reach an acceptable compromise on the bill, but the left wouldn't budge and neither would he.

Manchin said that with inflation increasing, the national debt, "geopolitical unrest," and the current pandemic, the Build Back Better bill by Biden [or his puppet master] was too much to accept.

Meanwhile, Bette Midler is still a pompous ass who knows what is actually in the BBB bill as much as Alexandria Obviously-Commie knows about economics.

Acting DHS Secretary has opened investigations into "Leaders of Antifa and other organizations"

Screen Shot
Chad Wolf, Acting Director of Homeland Security, said on Fox News Wednesday that federal law enforcement officials opened cases against Antifa leaders and other organizations who they believe are behind the riots and anarchistic behavior that has been going on across the country in the aftermath of George Floyd's killing by a Minneapolis former cop, Derek Chauvin.

Wolf was asked by Fox's Bret Baier who was behind the violence and looting to which he answered,  “I think, overall, what we have seen as far as taking place, sort of boots on the ground in these metropolitan areas, are the groups like Antifa or anarchists in general.”

“And those are the types of people that we see. That’s the intel that we’re getting back, primarily moving these violent protests and these organizations in a certain way. It usually occurs after nightfall. So, during the day, we usually see the nonviolent protests occurring,” Wolf said. “And then, when it gets to the night, we see the more violent protests starting to happen, criminals starting to take place, organized, loosely organized during the day to achieve a specific goal.”

“I think what we’re seeing right now, it’s loosely organized within a metropolitan city. Is it being organized across the country in an organized way? I don’t think that we see that yet. But, again, we’re continuing to analyze the intelligence and really getting the feedback from the state and local law enforcement officials in these individual cities,” Wolf continued. “So, we will continue to look at – we are partnering. We have a number of investigators at the department that are working with DOJ and working with FBI. We know that they have opened up a number of cases specifically targeting some of the leaders of Antifa and other organizations that are involved.”

There's no question that these riots are organized as caches of weapons, bricks and bottles with accelerant have been found strategically placed where protests were carried out.

FOX NEWS TRANSCRIPT:
BRET BAIER: Let’s get some insight into how the George Floyd protests and also the looting and the riots are affecting local law enforcement and the situation across the country.

Joining us tonight, Chad Wolf. He is the acting homeland security secretary.

Mr. Secretary, thank you very much for being here.

Your assessment, first of all, on the several nights we have watched this unfold?

CHAD WOLF, ACTING U.S. SECRETARY OF HOMELAND SECURITY: Well, absolutely. And thanks for having me on, Bret.

I think what we have seen over the last three, four or five days is unfortunate. Obviously, the American people are very outraged over the death of George Floyd. It’s legitimate. It’s right to be concerned and push for reform in that system.

But I think we need to do that and make sure that we don’t do that in a violent way. And what we have seen at the department is, we see a lot of these nonviolent protests. We see violent protesters taking part of that, infiltrating those nonviolent protests.

And that’s really where we have cause and concern, and specifically as it relates in targeting federal law enforcement officers, local and state law enforcement officers. And that’s something that we can’t have.

And then that’s really what we have been concerned about at the Department of Homeland Security, making sure that we support our state and local federal officials, law enforcement officers, pushing information to them, intelligence to them, and personnel and resources to them.

So, I think there’s a way that we can do this. As you indicated, some of that violence has subsided over the last several days. We hope that continues.

At the same time, if those legitimate protesters want to do so in a nonviolent way, exercise their First Amendment, they should be able to do that. The department supports that.

But, when we talk about violence, that’s where we have to draw the line, and we have to be very forceful and very clear that that’s not appropriate.

BAIER: You mentioned some of the organized nature to some of this.

WOLF: Right.

BAIER: I want you to take a listen to the New York Police Department commissioner about some of the staging for that, staged by someone. Take a listen.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

DERMOT SHEA, NEW YORK CITY POLICE COMMISSIONER: Pre-staged bricks are being placed, and then transported to — quote, unquote — “peaceful protests,” which are peaceful protests, but then used by that criminal group within to sow fear.

We have had a construction site burglarized in recent days in Manhattan. And it’s interesting. A construction site burglary is not that uncommon, but, during a riot, it’s interesting what was taken. Bricks.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

BAIER: So, who is behind this specifically?

WOLF: Yes.

And I will say, that’s also very similar to what the department has seen and what — the intel that we are seeing as well. During the day, what you see is coordination. You have seen phone calls.

You see meetings. And you see caches of weapons, homemade weapons mainly, being stashed around different metropolitan areas, so, at night, when these protests become more violent, those weapons are at hand.

I think, overall, what we have seen as far as taking place, sort of boots on the ground in these metropolitan areas, are the groups like Antifa or anarchists in general.

And those are the — those are the types of people that we see. That’s the intel that we’re getting back, primarily moving these violent protests and these organizations in a certain way. It usually occurs after nightfall. So, during the day, we usually see the nonviolent protests occurring.

And then, when it gets to the night, we see the more violent protests starting to happen, criminals starting to take place, organized, loosely organized during the day to achieve a specific goal.

BAIER: So, is there an effort to go after the leaders of this effort?

I mean, is it — can you see it across states? Is it organized in different cities across the country? And is there an effort to target who’s responsible and who’s financing it as well?

WOLF: Yes, absolutely.

I think what we’re seeing right now, it’s loosely organized within a metropolitan city. As it being — is it being organized across the country in an organized way? I don’t think that we see that yet. But, again, we’re continuing to analyze the intelligence and really getting the feedback from the state and local law enforcement officials in these individual cities.

So, we will — we will continue to look at — we are partnering. We have a number of investigators at the department that are working with DOJ and working with FBI. We know that they have opened up a number of cases specifically targeting some of the leaders of Antifa and other organizations that are involved.

So, I know they’re already going down that path. The department is a strong partner with DOJ. And, again, we have assets, we have investigators that are helping the Department of Justice in that.

BAIER: Where is the COVID situation right now? We’re seeing all of these protests. We’re seeing a lot of people gathering together.

I know your department also dealt with the situation with COVID-19. If you look at the U.S. coronavirus daily new cases, the — kind of the rolling average and the new cases graphic, you can see that it’s kind of rolling down, and a little bit of a spike.

But what about that, in context to all of this?

WOLF: Sure.

I think — overall, I think we’re still on a downward trend. We see a number of states and localities continuing to open up. The economy is continuing to open up. So, whether you’re in phase one or phase two or somewhere in between, I think we’re seeing progress there.

I think it’s very important that we open up that economy, and we do so in a safe and responsible way. And we have put out guidelines. The White House Coronavirus Task Force has put out guidelines on how to reopen the economy and provided those resources to state governors and other officials there.

So, we continue to look at that. I think, as we look at the civil unrest over the last several days, and we see these large groups, I think we see a lot of masks. But, obviously, we’re not doing the social distancing that we have been talking about over the last several months.

So, that’s a little concerning to a variety of us. And we will have to see if there’s any impact, long-term impact of that. But I think, overall, we’re on the right trajectory, downward trajectory. But we still have got to do a number of things across the country, continuing to mitigate, continuing to do some of that social distancing.

But we have got to do so in a responsible manner, but one that we got to get the economy back up and running. We need to open up back America. I think the president’s been very clear about that. And we will continue to do that. And we’re on the right path.

BAIER: There’s a piece by James Mattis, the first defense secretary for President Trump, in which he’s writing some pretty stark language.

Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people, does not even pretend to try. Instead, he tries to divide us. And we’re witnessing the consequence of three years of this deliberate effort.

That’s from General Jim Mattis.

Your thoughts on that tonight?

WOLF: Well, I think, if you look at the remarks that the president made, whether he made it down in Florida shortly after the launch, made it in the Rose Garden, made it a couple of different places, I think his language has been very specific regarding the tragic events in Minneapolis, what he thinks about that, but has also been very clear about law and order, the rule of law, and needing to establish that.

So, I know the media likes to focus on some harsh words and some direct words that can be delivered at times. And I think that’s needed at times.

But I encourage the American people and really everyone to look at his comments as a whole. And I think you will see that they have been balanced, and he has taken the right tone regarding the events in Minneapolis, but making sure he’s going to stand up to — for law and order.

He’s going to stand up for the law enforcement officials that are being targeted over the last several days. And I think that’s the right approach. And the president’s been very clear on that.

BAIER: Mr. Secretary, we appreciate your time tonight.

WOLF: All right, thank you.
Let's hope they find those behind the anarchy because the fabric of our country depends on stopping this now.

Trump slams Fox News and 'Smiley' Bret Baier, who responds

Seriously? Does President Trump want to go after the only TV network and news organization that has been his best ally? Is he that thin skinned?

President Trump took to Twitter to attack "Special Report" host Bret Baier along with the network on Tuesday after Monday night's town hall event with socialist lunatic Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and currently the person who's leading the pack in the contentious 2020 presidential campaign.

Trump expressed his ire with the "smiley" Baier’s alleged "soft questioning" of Sanders and Fox’s overall recent bent, citing the hiring of disgraced CNN contributor and Democratic operative Donna Brazile.

Trump tweeted:
"So weird to watch Crazy Bernie on [Fox News]. Not surprisingly, [Bret Baier] and the 'audience' was so smiley and nice. Very strange, and now we have [Donna Brazile]?"
Baier shot back on Twitter mere hours later:
"Thanks for watching Mr. President – we’d love to have you on a town hall soon — or even an interview on ["Special Report"] — it’s been awhile. We cover all sides."

Baier, alongside "The Story" host Martha MacCallum, moderated the town hall event for Sen. Sanders. The event's audience constituted a diverse crowd, but comprised mostly fans of Sanders, it appeared. They hooted and hollered at everything he said without even using the letter "R.

I'm a Trump supporter but I hope he stops attacking people inside the tent.

Trey Gowdy: Samantha Power claims others unmasked in her name

Former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power testified that the hundreds of unmasking requests made in her name, were made by other people. This was discovered by House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) and revealed in an interview with Fox News' Bret Baier on "Special Report with Bret Baier,"

"Her testimony is they may be under my name, but I did not make those requests," Gowdy said of Power. She is one among those in the Obama administration who made requests to identify Americans whose names surfaced in foreign intelligence reports, known as unmasking.

It was reported by Fox News last month that Power was unmasking at an incredibly rapid pace in the final months of Obama's leftist presidency. She averaged over one request for every working day last year and even went so far as to seek information in the days leading to Trump's inauguration.

Gowdy told Bret Baier, "I think if she were on your show, she would say those requests to unmask may have been attributed to her, but they greatly exceed by an exponential factor the requests she actually made. So, that's her testimony, and she was pretty emphatic about it."

Then he added, "So we've go to get to the bottom of that. If there is someone else making requests on behalf of a principal in the intelligence community, we need to know that because we're getting ready to reauthorize a program that's really important to the country, but also has a masking component to it."

Power was interviewed Friday for a closed-door session with House Intelligence Committee investigators looking into the 'unmasking' of Trump associates under the Obama crowd.

So who's to blame for allowing someone else to use her name to violate the rights to privacy of U.S. citizens? And if it was done with such frequency, why wasn't Powers directly questioned by the judicial authority that grants such requests?

Hillary knows she will not be indicted, how?

Hillary Clinton spoke with Fox News' Bret Baier Wednesday discussing her illegal personal email server and the FBI investigation that is moving at the pace of a dead dung beetle.

The former First Lady of stud Bill Clinton doubled down on the claim that this scandal, like all the others, will in no way hurt her presidential bid or result in a deserved indictment. She appeared to be more concerned with aging socialist and former pornographer, Bernie Sanders who is still giving her a pain in her butt as he refuses to step aside and allow her to take what she believes is hers, based on her delegate count and her being a Clinton.

"I applaud Senator Sanders' vigorous determined campaign," she lied. The truth is, she wishes the commie bum would disappear or hopefully die already. "I think that our primary contest was good for the Democratic Party and good for America," she added.

Yes, the Democratic Party should be proud of itself. Perhaps there should be a top-of-the-fold spread in Pravda about how the party has become more and more like another party in a place whose "dah" means "yes."

The woman, who even her hair color is a lie, said the probe into the Clinton Slushfund Foundation, as well as the private server debacle, will not impact on her negatively in the general election because Obama is going to back her and, after all, he appointed the Justice Department and FBI heads and they're in his back pocket.

It's nice to know that Clinton already knows that there will be no indictment for her treasonous disregard of the law. Has she already spoken on the subject with President Obama? Or did Comey or Lynch already reassure her?

Anyone who votes for her based on demographics is not doing justice to women, anymore than Obama did justice for African-Americans.

The way that she lambasted the women her husband abused and/or raped, should be a warning of her true character.

Not So Fine Stein and the CIA

When a nation is attacked, the people demand that their government provide them with safety--no matter what it takes. On September 12, 2001 nobody warned the CIA and FBI to go easy on those who killed 3000 Americans.

Most countries act the same way when they're attacked. People want results: they either want the terrorists captured or killed, and those captured must be made to talk if future danger is to be avoided. "Just get results; we don't care how you do it."

There are no more patriotic people in the world than those who work for the CIA. And to call them out on "torture" after all this time since 911 is disingenuous, and as Jonah Goldberg said on Fox News'  "Special Report with Bret Baier" today, it is "nakedly, intellectually dishonest."

But I see this dishonesty coming from the left in other cases, like Benghazi. We have actual witnesses who were there, fighting, dying, and trying to defend the compound where four Americans were killed on a different 911. The left didn't want to hear it because it made their leaders look as ineffectual, which of course they actually are.

With the CIA report, Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) attacked the interrogation methods used to protect our nation, but didn't have anyone from the CIA there to defend the agency. This is a person who on one hand, says she is for strict gun control, but packs her own heat.

When the riots took place in Ferguson, MO, Obama put down the police, not just there, but in America. Perhaps he learned to distrust them at a time marijuana use would have gotten him tossed in prison, like a common drug-user. Then when our so-called president had a "sit down" with community leaders, along with that race-baiting Al Sharpton, he didn't have the police department of Ferguson represented at the meeting to discuss strategies. It was a message that cops are the problem, not the thugs who rob stores, disobey the law, disrupt traffic and refuse to comply with a police officer.

Do you see a pattern here?

I put up a photo out on Twitter today of three cops, each holding up a sign which, when read together said: "Cops Are People Too."

A liberal twit responded to me by writing: "No they aren't."

I simply sent him a photo of a saying: "If you've voted for Obama twice, you're too dumb to argue with." I was surprised nobody else attacked me for being racist--it's all they have to make themselves sound like they take the moral high road.

But this is what America is becoming--the home of the anarchists and thankfully patriots, people with conservative values who don't say "holiday" for "Christmas," and don't think it's terrible if their child chews a cookie into the shape of a gun. The left loves guns in their movies, and carry guns for their personal protection, but they don't want you having a gun.

Listen to me . . . I'm really rambling tonight.

Thanks for reading this.
