Talarico’s Kindergarten Republic Leaves Grown-Ups Reaching for the Door

Texas Democrat comrade James Talarico, currently trying to talk his way past Attorney General Ken Paxton and into the Senate seat held by John Cornyn, stared into a camera and offered the country a governing model that sounds like it was workshopped during circle time and cookies.

“What if we ran our world like we run a kindergarten classroom? Because at the end of the day, aren’t we all just really big kindergartners?” the asked.

Voters who still think adulthood involves mortgages, jury duty, and the occasional original thought did not greet this as statesmanship. They treated it like a substitute teacher who lost control of the room.

“He’s just so … soft. I hate it,” Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet replied. “How is it possible that a grown man thinks this is a winning idea? Where have all the men gone? It’s baffling,”The Blaze contributor T.J. Moe added.

“Really Big Kindergartner is actually the best description I’ve heard of what Talarico looks like,” another added.

Conservative pundit Chris Loesch warned, “Never let this gelatinous creep around a kindergartner regardless how he identifies.” 

The pitch is consistent with a politics that already prefers citizens as dependents. First the state wants to manage your doctor. Then it wants to manage your snack and your feelings. Talarico simply said the quiet part with finger paint and mucous.

His campaign has also spent considerable energy pretending his earlier creepy record on children and gender ideology never happened. That record included support for giving young children access to cross-sex hormones and surgeries, plus a vote for a measure that would treat parents who refused to play along as child abusers. “Some of us, I think, really do consider this abusive behavior … an unwillingness to identify, or, to acknowledge a child’s gender identity, we consider that abusive to the child, abusive and destructive,” he said in 2019.

On Fox News he announced a late conversion [leaving out the real reason: political aspirations]. He no longer believes there are six genders [unless elected]. He also said he would oppose biological males in girls’ and women’s sports if their presence affected “safety and fairness.”

What a transparent scumcrumpet.

So the man who once wanted the government to overrule parents of actual five-year-olds now wants the rest of the country to sit on the rug while he explains how grown-ups should live. Texas will decide whether it prefers a Senate that treats voters like adults or one that hands out gold stars and timeout chairs.

The Mayor Who Cannot Name the Murderers

There are occasions when a politician is required to say what happened. September 11 is one of them.

Nearly 3,000 people were murdered by Islamist terrorists. They were not unfortunate extras in some abstract pageant of global suffering. They were not incidental casualties of an unspecified “war that followed.” They were murdered by men who hijacked passenger aircraft and flew them into buildings on purpose. It is hard to think of a historical fact that requires less interpretation.

Yet the words of New York City’s Mayor, Zohran Mamdani, have raised the awkward question of whether he means to mark the day as an act of remembrance or as another occasion to lecture the public about the consequences of American foreign policy.

A post from 2023 has resurfaced. “Nearly 3,000 New Yorkers died on 9/11; 22 years later, the death hasn't stopped. We mourn our neighbors who died that day. The hundreds of thousands who died in the wars that followed. The unknown millions injured & displaced. In their memory, we work toward a better world,” Mamdani wrote on X in 2023.

There is nothing objectionable in mourning civilians killed in later wars. There is nothing objectionable in wanting a better world. There is something peculiar, however, in commemorating the greatest terrorist attack in American history without mentioning the terrorists.

The sentence contains the dead. It contains the wars. It contains the injured and the displaced. It contains the pious hope of a better world. What it does not contain is the word “terrorists.” Nor does it say that the nearly 3,000 New Yorkers were murdered. This may appear a small matter of wording. To the families of the dead it is not.

Some of those families are now asking that Mamdani stay away from New York’s 25th-anniversary commemoration. Their unease has only grown after his interview with Hasan Piker, who said in 2019, “America deserved 9/11.”

Mamdani first declined to condemn the remark. He later called it “objectionable and reprehensible.” One might have thought that identifying as reprehensible the claim that America deserved to be attacked by terrorists would be the easy part. Apparently even that required a pause for reflection.

Marc Thiessen, who was inside the Pentagon when the planes hit, was less given to philosophical hesitation. “As someone who was in the Pentagon when the planes hit, this is absolutely disgraceful. You have no business ever setting foot at Ground Zero, much less on 9/11. If you dare show up, I hope you are greeted with such a Bronx cheer that you slink away in shame,” wrote Thiessen.

New York City Councilwoman Inna Vernikov was no more impressed. “I guess they all just ‘died’ in an accident? And then you wonder why the families of 9/11 victims don’t want you at the ceremony. Stay home, Mamdani,” wrote Vernikov.

Florida Rep. Randy Fine was blunter still. “Nearly 25 years later, NYC’s Mayor is in bed with Muslim terrorists and refuses to call out evil for what it is. Unfortunately, it seems the city forgot when they elected Jihadi Mamdani mayor. But we never will,” wrote Fine.

Fox News contributor and former NYPD officer Paul Mauro offered the mayor some advice. “You've made this easy. Don't show up on 9/11 this year -- or any year. We're not interested in your moral equivalency, nepo baby. Stick to the parlor communism daddy taught you. You and your buddy Piker can spend the day practicing Mandarin,” he said.

Michael La Rosa, a former spokesman for first lady DOCTOR Jill Biden, captured the general reaction with economy. “Is this real?”

Nancy Mace had no interest in economy of that kind. “Americans were MURDERED by TERRORISTS in the most horrific way,” she wrote.

Joey Jones, co-host of “Big Weekend Show,” put the matter more personally. “What a coward. They were murdered and sleep well at night knowing I and thousands of my brothers did our part to even the f—–g score,” he wrote.

The argument is not about whether wars produce suffering. Everyone knows that they do. It is about whether September 11 can be spoken of without first stating the most elementary moral fact of the day.The terrorists did this. They chose their targets. They chose their victims. They chose to murder thousands of people. And those who died were not responsible for the wars that followed their deaths.

That is why the language used to commemorate September 11 matters. There are many days in the year for arguing about American foreign policy. There are fewer for remembering 3,000 people who were murdered because Islamist terrorists decided they should die.

Mamdani says he intends to attend the commemoration to honor the victims, survivors, families and first responders alongside Vice President JD Vance and former presidents, including Biden and Bush. Some of the families would prefer that he think again.

A petition organized by several victims’ families asks the organizers to consider whether his presence is appropriate to the purpose of the ceremony. “We respectfully ask that the organizers carefully consider whether Mr. Mamdani’s participation would align with the intention of the ceremony and the expectations of the families most directly affected by the tragedy,” a Change.org petition states.

It is a reasonable question.

There is a difference between remembering that thousands of people were killed and remembering why they were killed. The first requires memory. The second requires moral clarity.

On September 11, 2001, New York did not suffer an unfortunate episode in the general history of human misery. It was attacked. And nearly 3,000 people were murdered. For the families who lost them, that remains difficult to forget. One would hope the mayor of New York could manage the same.

I will always remember the soot from office papers that ended up in the gutters of my Brooklyn home.

JoAnna Mendoza (D) Definitely Doesn't Support Defunding the Police, She Just Cashes Checks From Groups That Do

The presumptive Democratic nominee in Arizona's Sixth Congressional District, comrade JoAnna Mendoza, is heroically attempting to distance herself from her past comments calling to defund police. At the same time, she's holding fundraisers with far-left groups that have called to defund police, the conservative outlet, The Washington Free Beacon review found. 

Consistency is for losers, after all.

On Friday, for example, Mendoza headlined a big-ticket fundraiser in Los Angeles's affluent Brentwood neighborhood, cohosted by the Heart of LA Democratic Club. The club, which describes its mission as "championing feminist leadership and women's full representation in politics and policy," repeatedly backed the Defund the Police movement. 

In a since-deleted June 2020 tweet, it praised the Los Angeles Black Lives Matter chapter's "compelling presentation to LA City Council on defunding the police" as "a big step towards progress." The club backed a bill to defund police around the same time, and one of its officers, Sarah Kate Levy, said she "see[s] clearly the need to defund." 

She says, "I don't support defunding the police" while raising money with people who do.

Months earlier, in January, Mendoza held another Brentwood fundraiser with the Los Angeles-based Stonewall Democratic Club, which signed a 2020 letter calling for the "divestment of public funding from police" and a resolution calling for "budget reallocation" from police departments "to programs that end systemic, abusive, and unlawful use of lethal force on Black and Brown People." The move, the group said, was about joining "the struggle to end white supremacy, institutional racism, individual bigotry, and mass denial." 

Mendoza, of course, was just there for the finger food, and definitely not the ideology. 

The fundraisers come as Mendoza attempts to distance herself from her prior support for anti-police policies in her campaign against incumbent Republican congressman Juan Ciscomani in a district President Donald Trump carried narrowly in 2024. In 2020, when the comrade ran unsuccessfully for Arizona's State Senate, an audience member at a virtual town hall asked her whether she would "defund the police," to which she replied that she supports "the reallocation of funding" away from law enforcement. 

Reallocation. Such a gentle, non-threatening word for taking money from cops and giving it to someone else.

"Police reform is just one aspect of addressing systemic racism in our nation, and specifically here in Arizona," Mendoza said. "I support the reallocation of funding to programs that would allow people to live their best lives, such as the social service programs, such as housing, public education, health care, ensuring that we're addressing economic stability and environmental safety." 

In that same virtual town hall, Mendoza accused police officers of violating their "oath to protect and serve their communities" and appeared to justify the anti-police riots that swept the United States following George Floyd's death. "There are hundreds, hundreds of deaths at the hands—murders—at the hands of police brutality," she said. "And so what we're seeing right now from folks is we're seeing the demand for change through the protests, through the civil unrest. We are seeing that folks no longer trust law enforcement agencies who, by the way, have taken an oath to protect and serve their communities and have clearly violated that oath time and time again."

When Fox News reported on Mendoza's comments in March, her campaign lied that she "has been on the record for years that police need MORE resources to do their jobs, not less, including body cameras and training," adding that "she has repeatedly stated that she does not support defunding the police."

Mendoza also attempted to walk back her comments about the "reallocation of funding" several months following her initial remarks, saying during a different town hall that she did "not support defunding the police." The Arizona Police Association endorsed Ciscomani in May, not long after the "reallocation" video came to light. Apparently the cops can read. 

Policing is not the only area of inconsistency for Mendoza. Shortly after the Free Beacon reported that she had a net worth of up to $4.7 million, according to her 2025 financial disclosure, Mendoza issued a new financial disclosure claiming she is worth no more than $336,000. The new filing also revealed that she had concealed ownership of a rental property in Tucson worth between $250,000 and $500,000. 

This is how socialism works: those in power have the money while everyone else is equal . . .  equally poor.

Bibi vows to visit the Big Apple in spite of the worm who said he'd arrest him

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made it clear Tuesday that he has no intention of letting New York City's newest progressive jihadi and failed rapper, decide where he can and cannot travel. Despite Mayor comrade Zohran Mamdani's repeated demands that he be arrested if he sets foot in the city, Netanyahu announced he will still attend the United Nations General Assembly in September. 

"I'm going to New York," Netanyahu said during an interview with "Hannity" after meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House. Evidently, Bibi, a former IDF's Sayeret Matkal elite unit, is unafraid of the Uganda soy boy.

Apparently, being threatened with arrest by an anti-Semitic mayor who is too ignorant to realize that he cannot legally arrest him, ranked somewhere below "Tuesday" on Netanyahu's list of concerns.

"I'm going to speak the truth in front of this hate-spewing elected official who's pitting one group of New Yorkers against the others. He's turning them against New York Jews," Bibi said.

Netanyahu accused the Marx fan of reviving a political tradition that civilized nations were supposed to have buried generations ago, warning that the mayor's rhetoric deliberately fuels hostility toward Jewish residents, but everyone knows what Mamdani thinks of Jews.

Mamdani has spent years attacking Netanyahu over Israel's military operations in Gaza and Lebanon. 

The mayor's wife, Rama Sawaf Duwaji, even "liked" a post from The Slow Factory that showed photos of the border breach on October 7, 2023. On the next day, the witch liked posts from People's Forum NYC, among others supporting "Palestine resistance" including "From the river to the sea" messaging. Zohran is married to this harpy.

Most recently, Mamdani labeled the Israeli leader a "war criminal" and "the architect of a horrific genocide against the Palestinian people." He had nothing bad to say about the Hamassholes who initiated the attack on innocent Israelis.

Although Mamdani, a POS, admitted he has no legal authority to arrest Netanyahu under the International Criminal Court warrant, that minor inconvenience did not stop him from encouraging federal officials to do it instead. Apparently, in progressive politics, legal authority is now viewed as more of a suggestion than a requirement.

Netanyahu responded by comparing the atmosphere to one of history's darker chapters.

"What are we in the 1930s? What is this? So much hate, so many lies," Netanyahu told Fox News host Sean Hannity.

The prime minister also blasted the International Criminal Court, calling it a "corrupt, evil organization" that seems remarkably selective about who qualifies as a war criminal. Think about that fact.

"They don't charge Hezbollah… Supposedly, they charged Hamas, but a guy who's already dead. So no, it's fake. It's one big fake," he told Fox News.

Netanyahu warned that once unelected international bureaucrats begin inventing crimes for democratic leaders defending their countries from terrorists, it is only a matter of time before America lands in the crosshairs.

"They could say that the president of the United States is a war criminal, that American soldiers, valiantly fighting next to us, shoulder to shoulder, against the tyranny in Tehran, that they're war criminals."

Meanwhile, former New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, another leftist dolt, joined Mamdani's campaign to arrest Netanyahu, proving that nothing unites New York's progressive establishment quite like treating Israel's elected leader more harshly than the terrorist organizations trying to destroy his country.

Netanyahu also praised his latest meeting with President Trump, dismissing the media's endless hopes of finding daylight between Washington and Jerusalem.

"I always hate to disappoint our would-be critics who are trying to find cracks in our alliance. And what they find, like today, is a wall of granite," he said.

The Israeli leader emphasized that both governments remain committed to preventing Iran's radical regime from obtaining nuclear weapons. This is to the benefit of not only Israel and the United States, it's a benefit to the entire free world.

"We don't want to see this fanatic regime in Tehran have nuclear weapons to threaten every American and to threaten the peace of the world, and to threaten the existence of Israel," Bibi continued. "So we have a common goal, and it's gonna be achieved, either through diplomatic means or other means."

For now, Netanyahu appears unconcerned that New York's mayor wants him arrested. After spending years dealing with Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran's ayatollahs, and the United Nations, surviving a press conference in Manhattan may end up being the easiest challenge on his itinerary.

Mamdani needs to be thrown out of office, either by vote or governor Hochul's intervention. But the chances of the latter happening are slim to none.

Trump Says Some Republicans Want to ‘Obliterate’ Iran While Others Prefer a Nice Little Chat First

Apparently the Grand Old Party is having its usual family meeting about Iran, and the options on the table range from “please pass the nukes” to “maybe we should text them first.” 

President Donald Trump explained this morning on “Fox & Friends” that some elected Republicans are begging the U.S. to hit Iran “harder” than ever before, while the more refined members of the party would rather try sweet-talking Tehran into a deal before anyone starts rearranging the country’s infrastructure with high explosives.

Steve Doocy, ever the calm adult in the room, asked where the Republican coalition currently stands on the Iran situation, especially with midterms lurking in November like an unpaid bill.

"Some Republicans said, 'well, why don't we hit them harder?'" Trump said, adding, "You have a group of people that want it to be obliterated in the truest sense of the word. Then you have a group that says, this is actually a good time to make a deal for them."

The deal-loving Republicans, Trump helpfully clarified, still keep a backup plan in their back pocket: if the Iranians refuse to play nice, just “finish the job.” Finishing the job, in this particular vocabulary, means turning Iran’s bridges, power plants, and other inconvenient pieces of modern life into modern art via airstrikes.

"I think about 91 million people without power, without bridges," Trump added. "So I think we have a very strong position right now. They know I'm going to do that. If they don't make a deal, the bridges are going to be gone literally in less than . . . two hours."

Now that is a "strong negotiating position."

People go ballistic online after Minnesota paper praises Tim Walz's clemency for child sex offender

In the upside down world of progressive journalism, the Minnesota Star Tribune has decided that pardoning a child rapist is cause for celebration. Their columnist went out of her way to defend Governor Tim Walz for shielding an illegal alien who spent years assaulting a ten year old girl. The piece even tried to equate the crime with January 6 to make the whole thing seem reasonable.

Laura Ingraham and former Acting ICE Director Jonathan Fahey have spent plenty of time pointing out how Democrats handle illegal immigration and criminal justice these days. They keep running into cases where the rights of victims, especially children, get pushed aside while illegal aliens who commit serious crimes receive soft treatment.

One recent example involves a lenient sentence for an illegal alien truck driver in California. This Minnesota pardon fits right into that pattern.The paper's columnist, Rochelle Olson, wrote a section titled "Cheers to Gov. Tim Walz." She praised the governor and failed vice presidential candidate for refusing to back down from his vote.

The Minnesota Board of Pardons, made up of Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Chief Justice Natalie Hudson, voted unanimously on June 10 to grant clemency to Tou Lue Vang. Vang is a Laotian national who between 2002 and 2004 repeatedly raped a child. He was set to be deported when the pardon came through. Olson noted that Vang needed only two of three votes but received unanimous support. She mentioned a letter from the victim to the pardon board that supported clemency. She left out the details that the victim was a minor and that the assaults happened multiple times over two years.

A spokesperson for the paper defended the decision by saying the Star Tribune regularly publishes a wide range of opinions across the political spectrum. In this case, the columnist simply agreed with a unanimous pardon by the Minnesota state board of pardons, including Governor Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison and state Supreme Court Chief Justice Natalie Hudson.To drive the point home, Olson compared Vang's crimes to January 6.

"Vang’s actions 20 years ago were awful, but so were the violent protests at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and those folks received presidential pardons," she wrote.

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer saw it differently. "The Minnesota Star Tribune is cheering on Tim Walz protecting an illegal alien monster who raped a 10 year old girl. No one should read this depraved rag. They are sick," he said on X.

Online reactions were swift and sharp.

Dennis Neale wrote, "The Star Tribune likens repeatedly raping a 10-year-old girl to protesting in the Capitol on Jan 6. You fluppin’ idiots."

Another commentator observed, "Minnesota’s largest paper actually figured out a way to shove January 6th into this as a way to excuse an illegal immigrant who sexually assaulted a child. One of the most insane things I’ve ever seen."

Dustin Grage called the column "Absolutely disgusting." Claremont Institute senior fellow Jeremy Carl captured the larger problem. "The degeneracy of the modern left would be impossible to exaggerate because it is impossible to exaggerate infinity." Nick Freitas added, "Every time I think I despise the main stream media enough, they triple their efforts."

None of the pardon board's work or the column's defense mattered in the end. On July 10, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the illegal alien had been deported to Laos anyway.

Rubio laid out the facts plainly. "Just weeks ago, a foreign child rapist was freed to once again endanger America's children after receiving a pardon from Minnesota Governor Tim Walz," he told Fox News Digital. "Tue Lue Vang admitted to committing heinous crimes against a 10-year-old girl in Minnesota. He attempted to pay his victim for her silence and dismissed his acts of child abuse as a 'minor thing.'"

"Just days before he was scheduled to be deported, the Minnesota Governor pardoned him, setting him free to endanger American families once again," Rubio continued. "That's why I terminated his legal status in the United States. Vang has now been removed from our country and will never pose a threat to any American ever again."

Walz was not finished defending his choice. Days after the deportation he asked, "Did that make us any safer? Did that make the children that are left behind any more stable? Did it improve the idea that we can’t all be judged by our worst day?"

The question answers itself when the worst day in question involved years of raping a child. In the progressive mind, that apparently counts as something everyone should just move past, especially if the perpetrator is an illegal alien the government was ready to remove. The Star Tribune cheered the effort anyway. The rest of the country noticed the moral confusion and said so.

Cori Bush's Comeback Tour Features Maoist Who Says the Quiet Part Out Loud

Politics is often described as the art of strange alliances, but former Rep. Cori Bush has apparently decided subtlety is overrated. Her campaign trail now includes a self described Maoist anti-Semite scumwafer who openly defends Hamas and Hezbollah, cheers the desecration of the American flag, talks about "unmaking" America, and casually wonders, "What's wrong with throwing molotovs at a police station?" 

Apparently the only thing missing from the résumé was "villain in an 80s action movie."

Bush, who is trying to reclaim Missouri's 1st Congressional District after voters showed her the exit, recently appeared at a campaign event standing beside Christopher Winston, better known online as "BlackRedGuard." Winston has spent years posting revolutionary rhetoric that makes the average college radical sound like Fred Rogers.

Among his greatest hits, Winston mocked leftists who distance themselves from terrorist groups, all while not actually participating in terrorist activities himself because he's a coward.

"If you say sh-- like 'I don't support Hezbollah/Hamas' and call yourself a leftist you lame. All power to all the resistance. Peace through the sword."

That is certainly one way to test the limits of the phrase "mostly peaceful."

Winston has also declared, "Do not fix America. Unmake it." Because rebuilding a nation from scratch has worked out so well every other time Maoists have tried it.

Not content with merely rooting against America, Winston also celebrated attacks on one of its most recognizable symbols.

"I applaud the burning of the American flag. That flag is a symbol of the slavery and genocide which built America. It should always be desecrated in that way." Obviously he's a fool who refuses to acknowledge how slavery was abolished in America, while much of it still goes on in the Middle East while he refuses to discuss that tidbit.

Perhaps the most unintentionally hilarious moment came during a 2024 interview when the dangerous dolt was asked why a committed Maoist would bother hanging around the Democratic Socialists of America.

His answer skipped the usual talking points about organizing and solidarity.

"Well, it's obvious why I'm a Maoist in the DSA. There's a lot of naive young white people to brainwash."

It is rare to hear someone describe the progressive recruitment strategy with such refreshing honesty.

When the discussion turned to political violence, Winston asked:

"What's wrong with throwing molotovs at a police station?" As long as someone else does the molotov chucking.

A cohost nervously suggested that might destroy the organization. Winston's response was even more revealing. 

"That's why we want the masses to do it."

Most political campaigns ask volunteers to knock on doors. This one apparently prefers firebombing tutorials.

Cori Bush's campaign had an opportunity to explain Winston's role, whether he was invited, or whether she even knows him. Instead, it responded by sending reporters a Fox News story about Joy Behar defending democratic socialism, apparently hoping everyone would become distracted before asking follow up questions.

Winston's admiration for Bush has hardly been a secret.

"Yeah, I'm a Maoist ultra with dreams of riding into power on a tank like Fidel and Che but in the meantime Cori Bush is the best congressperson right now and we need to back her."

It takes genuine talent to make "I'll settle for Cori Bush until the communist revolution arrives" sound like a campaign endorsement. He might as well have said, "You can hold your nose and pull the lever as long as you vote for Bush."

Bush's orbit has also included anti Israel activists, defund the police advocates, and organizations linked to some of the most radical elements of the American left. At this point, finding another extremist attached to the campaign is about as surprising as finding a pink-hair vegan at a Whole Foods.

The truly absurd part is that none of this appears to be a deal breaker for the activist class. 

Imagine the media reaction if a Republican candidate posed beside someone praising political violence or openly admitting he wanted to brainwash young people. Every cable network would interrupt programming with a weeklong democracy emergency.

Instead, Bush campaigns beside a Maoist who defends terrorist groups, applauds flag burning, jokes about Molotov cocktails, and literally says he joined the DSA because there are "a lot of naive young white people to brainwash."

The remarkable part is not that he said it. The remarkable part is that everyone around him seems to have nodded politely and kept handing out campaign signs like useful idiots

Illegal Alien Granted CDL Under Biden-Era Program Allegedly Kills Pennsylvania State Trooper

The death of a police officer in the line of duty is always a national tragedy. Yet some deaths demand more than mourning. They require an honest examination of the decisions that made them possible.

Pennsylvania State Trooper Michael Pahira Jr., 44, was killed Wednesday morning while carrying out one of the routine but dangerous responsibilities of law enforcement. He had stopped to inspect an unrelated semi-truck on the side of the road when a tractor-trailer left the roadway, struck another vehicle, and triggered the chain of events that claimed his life.

The driver accused of causing the crash, 33-year-old Michael Bon, has since been identified as an illegal immigrant from Haiti who entered the United States through the Biden administration's CHNV "humanitarian parole program," according to Fox News. 

The details are as disturbing as they are revealing.

After entering the country under the parole initiative, Bon reportedly sought Temporary Protected Status but was denied. His legal status was later terminated under the Trump administration. Despite this, he had already been issued a commercial driver's license by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in March 2025, allowing him to operate the massive vehicles that demand the highest standards of training, responsibility, and oversight.

This was not merely an isolated traffic accident. It raises difficult questions about immigration policy, government accountability, and the consequences of expanding programs that place insufficient emphasis on enforcement and vetting.

For years, critics warned that temporary parole programs, originally intended for exceptional humanitarian circumstances, were being transformed into broad avenues for entry with inadequate safeguards. Defenders insisted the system was under control. Now a Pennsylvania state trooper is dead, and another grieving family is left to ask whether this loss might have been prevented.

Trooper Pahira dedicated his life to protecting the public. He did not choose the policies that shaped the circumstances surrounding his final moments. He simply answered the call of duty, as officers across America do every day, trusting that the institutions responsible for public safety had fulfilled their own obligations.

His death deserves more than condolences. It deserves accountability.

A nation that asks its police officers to stand between order and chaos owes them something in return. It owes them immigration policies that place the safety of its own citizens and those sworn to protect them above political expediency. When that obligation is neglected, the consequences are not abstract. They are measured in lives cut short, families shattered, and communities left to mourn.

Tim Walz's Latest Act of "Compassion" Extends to Convicted Child Predator Facing Deportation

If there were an Olympic event for putting criminals ahead of law-abiding citizens, Democrat Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz would already be standing atop the podium collecting another gold medal waving at people who exist only in his mind.

The governor who never seems to meet a progressive cause he doesn't adore has now found yet another opportunity to demonstrate that, in modern left-wing politics, the criminal justice system is less about protecting victims and more about endlessly rehabilitating offenders, no matter how monstrous their crimes.

Walz is facing intense criticism after Minnesota's Board of Pardons approved clemency for Tou Lue Vang, a Laotian national piece of human garbage who was convicted of repeatedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. According to the Department of Homeland Security, the pardon may now interfere with federal efforts to deport him from the United States.

Good going, Tampon Timmy.

The Board of Pardons consists of comrades Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Minnesota Supreme Court Chief Justice Natalie Hudson. The board signed off on the pardon after receiving a recommendation from the Minnesota Clemency Review Commission.

According to Fox News, the commission recommended the pardon by a narrow 4-2 vote, with three members absent, before forwarding it for final approval. In an astonishing letter to Vang, Clemency Review Commission Executive Director Carli Stark celebrated the decision by writing, "Being granted a pardon is a notable achievement and a reflection of the work you have done since your conviction."

One has to wonder whether anyone on the commission bothered to spare a thought for the little girl whose childhood was shattered.

Court records cited by DHS paint a horrifying picture. Prosecutors said Vang repeatedly sexually assaulted the 10-year-old victim between 2002 and 2004. On one occasion, he allegedly offered the child $10 to keep quiet.

His excuses proved no less revolting than his crimes.

According to court filings, Vang told investigators "it is a cultural thing...to marry and have sex with girls as young as 12." He also claimed the child was "just as guilty" and should be arrested alongside him.

Despite being convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, Vang avoided prison through a plea agreement.

An immigration judge later ordered his removal from the United States on October 31, 2006. DHS says he was expected to be deported before Walz and his fellow board members stepped in with their act of mercy, potentially removing the very conviction that made him eligible for deportation.

The Department of Homeland Security did not mince words.

"Governor Tim Walz's decision to pardon an illegal alien convicted child rapist so he can remain in our country is disgusting," Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said.

"These are the criminal illegal aliens he and his Minnesota sanctuary politicians are protecting. Tou Lue Vang lost his legal status following his conviction for repeatedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. Following the conviction, he was placed in removal proceedings and issued a final order of removal by a judge. This pardon will take away this child rapist's qualifying convictions that made him removable from the United States."

Federal officials say Vang entered the United States through California in 1994 and received legal status during the Clinton administration. That status was revoked after his conviction and removal order.

Ironically, Vang had recently been taken into custody during the Trump administration's Operation Metro Surge before the pardon arrived like an unexpected rescue mission from Minnesota's progressive establishment. In his clemency application, Vang argued that he had accepted responsibility for his crimes and had rehabilitated himself.

Whether the victim shares that glowing assessment is another question entirely.

Disturbingly, DHS says this is not an isolated incident.

In May, Minnesota also granted a pardon to Jai Vang, another Laotian national identified by DHS as an illegal immigrant. According to the department, his criminal record included robbery, armed robbery of a business, and driving under the influence.

For Walz and Minnesota's progressive leadership, the pattern is becoming difficult to ignore. While ordinary citizens expect government to protect victims, enforce immigration law, and remove dangerous criminals from the country, this administration seems increasingly determined to extend grace to the very people who forfeited it through their own actions.

For politicians who endlessly lecture Americans about "accountability," accountability appears to end precisely where progressive ideology begins.

Convicted Teen Killer Claims He's Penniless, Seeks Taxpayer-Funded Lawyer As Parents Quietly Fire Up New Business Three Weeks After Fatal Stabbing

MCKINNEY, TX — In a plot twist no one could have predicted except everyone paying attention, Karmelo Anthony, the 19-year-old just handed a 35-year prison sentence for stabbing Austin Metcalf to death at a high school track meet, has bravely declared himself "penniless, destitute, and indigent." The broke murderer now wants the same Texas taxpayers whose justice system he tested with a knife to foot the bill for his appeal.

Public records, those pesky things that keep ruining good sob stories, show Anthony's parents activated a Texas business entity called Angelic Obsessions LLC just 24 days after their son's alleged act of community enrichment. The timing is surely a coincidence, like how a lottery winner buys a yacht the day after scratching the ticket.

Anthony filed court paperwork this week sobbing that he is simply too poor to hire a lawyer, despite a GiveSendGo fundraiser launched in his honor raking in more than $633,000 before it vanished from public view following his conviction. Organizers described the cash as vital for "comprehensive assistance" and "family relocation expenses," which in woke-speak apparently means "help us move somewhere the pitchforks can't find us."

Fox News correspondent Brooke Taylor has been following this saga of justice and sudden entrepreneurship on "The Story." Sources close to reality note that the records do not prove the fundraiser money flowed directly into the new company. Anthony's parents have not been charged with anything, mostly because modern justice systems prefer to lock up the actual stabber first.Before the stabbing, the family's Louisiana business ventures had all the success of a vegan steakhouse. Angelic Obsessions was formed years ago then revoked. Another outfit called Exclusive Luxury Services enjoyed repeated revocations, like a criminal with a revolving door habit. But hey, nothing says "we stand with our son" like getting that LLC paperwork notarized while the blood is still drying on the track.

Anthony was transferred to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, where he will have plenty of time to reflect on his poverty while the rest of us reflect on how many GoFundMe millions it takes before a guy stops qualifying as "indigent."

Andrew Anthony III, listed as the registered agent for the fresh Texas business, declined to comment. Smart man. In today's America, the real crime isn't the stabbing. It's noticing the timing.

Trump Nears Iran Deal As Hezbollah, Israel, And Reality Itself Complicate Things

President Trump is once again finding out that trying to bring peace to the Middle East is a little like herding cats or refereeing a bar fight where everyone has missiles and a theological grudge dating back 3,000 years.

On Sunday, Trump publicly warned Israel and Iran not to torpedo what he insists is an almost-finished peace agreement after Israel lit up Hezbollah targets in Beirut, because apparently nobody in that region can go 48 consecutive hours without setting something on fire or blowing something up.

“We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region,” Trump posted on social media, before adding the kind of thing every exhausted parent has yelled from the front seat during a family road trip: “Let’s not blow it!”

Please let us not pretend that any so called peace deal will last very long when Islamic scripture [in this case, the Hadith] demands the killing of Jews:

Smoke rose over Beirut after Israeli strikes reportedly hit Hezbollah infrastructure in the southern suburbs. Lebanon’s Civil Defense said workers pulled three bodies and six wounded people from the rubble, which is generally not the visual diplomats hope for while trying to finalize a peace agreement.

Naturally, Iran responded with threats, because Tehran treats military retaliation the way normal countries treat strongly worded press releases.

The emerging deal has reportedly left Israel less than thrilled. Benjamin Netanyahu’s government has been largely sidelined while Pakistan and other regional players helped move negotiations forward, which probably feels to the Israelis like being forced to watch strangers remodel your house while assuring you they definitely know where the load-bearing walls are.

Trump, who previously suggested the agreement could be signed Sunday, has reportedly been leaning hard on Netanyahu to cool things down in Lebanon while negotiations continue. Netanyahu, being Netanyahu, appears to have treated that advice the same way most people treat the “terms and conditions” page on a software update.

Following the Beirut strike, Trump spoke with Netanyahu and made it clear he was not exactly delighted with the timing and it made him look bad.

According to Axios and Fox News interviews, Trump directly questioned the Israeli prime minister about the operation after Israel said it struck Hezbollah targets in response to drone launches aimed at northern Israel.

The Israeli military claimed Hezbollah launched three projectiles and released footage showing smoke rising after impacts. Hezbollah, meanwhile, maintained its long-standing media strategy of saying absolutely nothing until everybody else has already spent twelve hours arguing online.

“It shook it up,” Trump said of the strike’s effect on negotiations, adding that the agreement’s signing was delayed several hours but remained on track.

That sentence pretty much sums up Middle East diplomacy in 2026: everyone agrees peace is close right before somebody launches explosives into a neighboring country.

Israel defended the strikes as necessary retaliation. “Israel will not tolerate firing into its territory,” Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a statement.

Fair enough. That is generally how sovereign nations operate.

Meanwhile, civilians in Beirut’s southern suburbs were once again seen fleeing damaged neighborhoods after briefly enjoying what passed for “calm” in the region, which usually means only a few rockets a week instead of dozens.

The current conflict spiraled after Hezbollah fired missiles into Israel on March 2, shortly after the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran. Since then, Israeli forces have pushed deeper into Lebanon than at any point in more than twenty-five years, which is the sort of escalation diplomats politely call “concerning” while privately stress-eating antacids.

Iranian officials reacted exactly the way you’d expect Iranian officials to react.

Parliamentary Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf warned on X that “if you lack the will and ability to fulfill your commitments, speaking of continuing the path is not possible.”

Translation: everybody keeps threatening peace while simultaneously threatening each other.

Gen. Mohammad Jafar Asadi added, “Without a doubt, these crimes will not go unanswered,” proving once again that no Middle Eastern conflict is complete without at least one official statement that sounds like it was generated by an angry action movie trailer narrator.

Qatari mediators reportedly traveled to Tehran Sunday to help finalize the agreement. Regional officials cautiously suggested the U.S. and Iran might actually be approaching a framework capable of halting hostilities and reopening the Strait of Hormuz, which global markets would appreciate very much because investors tend to dislike shipping lanes turning into active war zones.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the agreement could be signed Sunday, while Iranian officials suggested it may happen within days. Trump said the Strait of Hormuz would reopen immediately after signing.

The deal itself appears less like a grand peace treaty and more like the diplomatic equivalent of duct tape holding together a leaking garden hose. It reportedly creates a sixty-day framework for further discussions on Iran’s nuclear program, missile capabilities, frozen assets, and regional proxy activity, which means the hardest issues are essentially being postponed until later.

Under the current framework, the U.S. and Israel appear to have fallen well short of their original objectives of dismantling Iran’s nuclear and missile programs entirely. Critics have noticed this small detail.

Trump attempted to reassure skeptics Saturday by posting that once things calm down, the U.S. would “downblend and destroy” Iran’s enriched uranium either inside Iran or in the United States.

That may prove more complicated than posting it on social media.

According to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran possesses roughly 440.9 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60% purity, which is alarmingly close to weapons-grade material. Iran continues insisting its nuclear program is peaceful, which ranks somewhere alongside “the stripper really likes me” on the list of claims that should probably invite further scrutiny.

Republican critics of the deal have already started circling. Some argue the agreement barely improves on the 2015 Obama-era nuclear deal that Trump himself withdrew from during his first term because he repeatedly called it “bad.”

Now Trump finds himself in the awkward position every president eventually reaches in foreign policy: discovering that campaign slogans are much easier than negotiating with regimes that sponsor armed militias while enriching uranium underground.

Still, if Trump somehow manages to keep Israel, Iran, Hezbollah, Pakistan, Qatar, global oil markets, and congressional Republicans from simultaneously detonating this agreement before the ink dries, it may qualify as the first genuine miracle the Middle East has seen in decades.

Trump again says peace deal just 'hours away' adding that he used the "F' word to Bibi on the phone

In a stunning display of deal-making genius that has the entire swamp clutching their pearls, President Donald Trump announced he expects a historic peace agreement with Iran to be signed "in a matter of hours" on Sunday, just like several times before.
Trump dropped the bombshell during an interview with Fox News' Trey Yingst, who played the role of professional buzzkill by reminding everyone that Iran has flaked on negotiations at the last minute more times than a flaky Tinder date. 
Yingst also pointed out that the whole Israel-Iran tension thing is kind of an "x-factor," especially after Israel had the audacity to strike Hezbollah targets in Beirut, a totally reasonable "red line" for the world's leading sponsor of terrorism.
Earlier Sunday, Trump publicly slammed Israel's actions and demanded that Israel and "all other parties" just knock it off already so he can get back to brokering the greatest peace deal in human history.
Just because they fire rockets at your cities is no reason to fire back at their military.
Trump revealed he got straight on the horn with the  Israeli Prime Minister to deliver some classic straight talk right from what sounds like it came from the streets of New York.
"What the f--k are you doing?" Trump says he told Netanyahu.
"That's a very bad word, Donald," Bibi allegedly replied.
