Talarico’s Kindergarten Republic Leaves Grown-Ups Reaching for the Door

Texas Democrat comrade James Talarico, currently trying to talk his way past Attorney General Ken Paxton and into the Senate seat held by John Cornyn, stared into a camera and offered the country a governing model that sounds like it was workshopped during circle time and cookies.

“What if we ran our world like we run a kindergarten classroom? Because at the end of the day, aren’t we all just really big kindergartners?” the asked.

Voters who still think adulthood involves mortgages, jury duty, and the occasional original thought did not greet this as statesmanship. They treated it like a substitute teacher who lost control of the room.

“He’s just so … soft. I hate it,” Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet replied. “How is it possible that a grown man thinks this is a winning idea? Where have all the men gone? It’s baffling,”The Blaze contributor T.J. Moe added.

“Really Big Kindergartner is actually the best description I’ve heard of what Talarico looks like,” another added.

Conservative pundit Chris Loesch warned, “Never let this gelatinous creep around a kindergartner regardless how he identifies.”

The pitch is consistent with a politics that already prefers citizens as dependents. First the state wants to manage your doctor. Then it wants to manage your snack and your feelings. Talarico simply said the quiet part with finger paint and mucous.

His campaign has also spent considerable energy pretending his earlier creepy record on children and gender ideology never happened. That record included support for giving young children access to cross-sex hormones and surgeries, plus a vote for a measure that would treat parents who refused to play along as child abusers. “Some of us, I think, really do consider this abusive behavior … an unwillingness to identify, or, to acknowledge a child’s gender identity, we consider that abusive to the child, abusive and destructive,” he said in 2019.

On Fox News he announced a late conversion [leaving out the real reason: political aspirations]. He no longer believes there are six genders [unless elected]. He also said he would oppose biological males in girls’ and women’s sports if their presence affected “safety and fairness.”

What a transparent scumcrumpet.

So the man who once wanted the government to overrule parents of actual five-year-olds now wants the rest of the country to sit on the rug while he explains how grown-ups should live. Texas will decide whether it prefers a Senate that treats voters like adults or one that hands out gold stars and timeout chairs.

Baby Gabriel’s “Parents” Blast Ken Paxton for Saving Him From Abortion

DALLAS, TX: In a stunning development that proves the phrase “pro-life” can apparently be controversial even after the baby is born, the California couple who wanted Baby Gabriel aborted before birth are now furious with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for making sure the child receives lifesaving medical care.

These so called parents are nothing more than ghouls.

Gabriel was born August 12 in Dallas with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a serious but treatable condition requiring a series of surgeries beginning in the first weeks of life.

Surrogate mother McKenna West, an Alaska nurse and single mother of two, refused the biological parents’ request to abort the child after a prenatal diagnosis revealed the heart defect. The surrogacy contract reportedly contained a clause allowing the baby to be killed if an “anomaly” was discovered.

West instead traveled to Texas before giving birth, where she would be recognized as the birth mother under Texas law, and named the boy Gabriel.

Naturally, this did not go over well with the people who had apparently commissioned a baby but wanted a return policy if the baby came with a defective heart.

Nausheen Gilkar and Omar Ahmed of Los Angeles, Gabriel’s biological parents, obtained a temporary court order granting them decision-making authority and took physical custody of the infant less than 24 hours after his birth.

The couple has now taken issue with Paxton’s office for intervening to ensure Gabriel receives medical treatment, arguing that the state lacks standing and that only the Department of Children and Family Services can intervene.

They contend that the state’s actions would deprive them of their “fundamental constitutional interest in the care, custody, control and medical decision-making for their child without constitutionally adequate notice, process, and opportunity to be heard … in violation of the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.”

Because apparently the most pressing constitutional crisis in Texas right now is whether the government has given adequate process before insisting that a newborn with a serious heart condition be allowed to live.

The parents also denied any intention to withhold medical care, saying they have “consistently sought the opportunity to consult” with doctors and make informed medical decisions for the child as his “parents.”

Their attorney said they “had frequently sought involvement in the medical process and had made the decision, which they felt was best for the baby.”

Yes, that decision was the one where the baby doesn't get to participate in the decision because he would have to survive long enough to have an opinion.

Attorney Lee Budner added that the couple is “continuing to place their baby’s health and well-being first, following the advice of the baby’s medical team, as they always have and just as any loving parent would.”

The couple is also “devastated to see their family tragedy transformed into political theater by the Texas Attorney General’s office and McKenna West.”

Nothing says “political theater” quite like an attorney general going to court to make sure a newborn receives lifesaving surgery.

Paxton’s office rejected that characterization, issuing the following statement:

“Once the child is born alive in Texas, he will be a complete legal person, and Texas will protect his life without regard to the circumstances of his conception or the terms of any private agreement.”

It is difficult to imagine a more outrageous concept than the radical Texas idea that a baby who has been born is, in fact, a person.

Paxton subsequently secured an emergency court order requiring lifesaving medical care, including intensive treatment and at least one surgery, while also barring the infant from being removed from Texas.

Pro-life advocates have credited Paxton’s intervention with protecting Gabriel after his intended parents had sought to have him aborted because of his heart condition.

West is challenging the parentage orders, with her attorney arguing that Texas law recognizes the woman who gives birth as the mother. A separate order currently prohibits West from having any contact with Gabriel.

Meanwhile, the custody and medical decision-making battle continues as Gabriel receives specialized care at a Texas facility with an excellent track record of treating children with his condition.

For now, Baby Gabriel is doing something that has apparently become politically controversial in certain parts of America: he is fighting to live.

And Ken Paxton is apparently guilty of the shocking offense of helping him do it.

Macho man Jimmy ['The Trucker'] Talarico crows about hiding illegal aliens and calls Texas Christians "Christo-Fascists"

AI generated

Fox News got its hands on a video of a 2023 interview showing Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico bragging about how his church illegally sheltered illegal aliens from legal deportation. The church also fought for “LGBTQ rights in the ‘90s,” and allowed an atheist to join the congregation in the 2000s because it doesn't put much stock in Jesus.

In a dazzling display of progressive piety that would leave any ordinary churchgoer scratching their head, Talarico helpfully boiled down his congregation's hyper-progressive illegal stunts by declaring that “Christianity is just another word for causing trouble,” as if leftist anti-American law-breaking were the purest expression of the faith.

Not to be outdone, the truck maven Talarico then casually branded conservative Christians “Christo-facists” for the unforgivable sin of advancing policies like bans on killing the unborn and sex change surgeries for minors, school choice voucher programs, and displaying the Ten Commandments.

"All these ideologies stem from this Christo-fascism movement, which, essentially, like I said, is just using faith to exercise raw political, social and economic power," Talarico told the interviewer. "I think it's dangerous to all of us, but particularly to those who are marginalized and oppressed in our state."

Evidently, cutting off human appendages to try looking like the opposite sex of a child, and murdering babies in the womb, is safe, sane, and the right thing to do because young children can make life-altering decisions and babies are a lot of work and take away from one's time.

Naturally, the Talarico campaign has raced to backpedal from these illuminating remarks, insisting their candidate is merely a moderate Christian who suddenly believes in border security and supports law enforcement.

A spokes socialist for the Talarico campaign dismissed Republican criticism of the candidate's progressive beliefs as “flat out lies.”

"James is a Christian seminarian who’s dedicated his life to the teachings of Jesus Christ, fighting religious and political corruption when he sees it because there’s nothing Christ-like about powerful people twisting the teachings of Jesus to justify hate, violence, and greed,” the spokes socialist told Fox News.

“While billionaire-bought politicians like Ken Paxton attack James for his faith, he will continue encouraging Texans across the political spectrum to come together by loving their neighbors as themselves."

Talarico’s earlier takes on Christianity have kept the fireworks going all campaign long, from claiming the Annunciation of Our Lord justified abortion, to declaring God is non-binary, to insisting that prohibiting sex changes for minors was sinful. Now this progressive past of Talarico’s is set to square off against key Trump-ally Ken Paxton for control of the Texas Senate seat in November’s midterm elections.

For a big, tough, truck-driving Texan, James Talarico is a lightweight. It would be incredibly surprising, and equally as sad, if this clown wins in the election.

Cleveland Clinic Agrees To Stop Chopping Off Kids' Twigs And Berries After DOJ Finally Notices It's Illegal

The Department of Justice announced another resolution arising from its ongoing national investigation into violations of federal law in connection with sex-rejecting procedures on minors.

The Cleveland Clinic Foundation has entered into agreements with the Department and the Ohio Attorney General that include a decades-long commitment to not perform or offer sex-rejecting procedures—which include the administration of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones—for minors.

Cleveland Clinic has also agreed to pay a monetary penalty and, in a landmark commitment, dedicate additional millions to help provide essential medical care for individuals living with the harmful consequences of such misguided medical interventions performed on them as children and adolescents who are called “detransitioners”.

“The Department of Justice is steadfastly committed to protecting America’s children,” said Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward. “Just as the resolution with Texas Children’s, today’s resolution with Cleveland Clinic furthers that commitment and puts these providers on notice that this Department will vigorously enforce federal law where children are put at risk.”According to the terms of the agreements, which the Department reached in coordination with Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, Cleveland Clinic - a partner in other Administration priority initiatives - will pay $308,000 to resolve allegations regarding false billings submitted to public and private payors to secure insurance coverage for sex-rejecting procedures on minors.

As part of the resolution, Cleveland Clinic has committed $2 million to provide restorative care for de-transitioners, the very victims of these predatory and dangerous practices - regardless of their insured status or ability to pay.

The agreements come less than a month after the Justice Department announced its resolution with Texas Children’s Hospital, which the Department secured through a partnership with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. As previously announced, Texas Children’s agreed to pay a $10 million penalty and, much like Cleveland Clinic’s commitment today, create the first-of-its-kind clinic dedicated to treating de-transitioners. Texas Children’s also agreed to permanently cease providing any sex-rejecting procedures to minors.

These historic commitments pair the cessation of these dangerous practices masquerading as medical treatment with substantial investments in remediating the destruction they cause and restoring the health of the victims.

In working towards this settlement, the United States acknowledged that Cleveland Clinic took significant steps entitling it to credit for cooperation with the Department in its investigation. At all times during the investigation, Cleveland Clinic remained cooperative, proactive, and solution-driven, as highlighted by its multi-million dollar commitment to providing care to the victims who most need it.

“I am grateful that institutions like Cleveland Clinic and Texas Children’s have decided to be part of the solution, not part of the problem,” said Brett Shumate, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division. “Cleveland Clinic’s commitment to providing millions of dollars towards care for de-transitioners is emblematic of just that. I am grateful for this resolution with Cleveland Clinic, but our work is far from over, and our division will continue to work tirelessly to protect America’s children and hold accountable those that have preyed on vulnerable children, whether they be pharmaceutical companies or medical providers.”

These matters and the investigations into sex-rejecting procedures on minors are being led by the Justice Department’s Civil Division Enforcement and Affirmative Litigation Branch and Commercial Litigation Branch, Fraud Section.

The claims resolved by the United States in the settlements are allegations only, and there has been no determination of liability. Cleveland Clinic has denied all allegations.

In a stunning turn of events, one of America's most prestigious hospitals has discovered that chemically castrating and surgically mutilating confused middle-schoolers might not actually be "healthcare." Sources say the clinic's doctors are shocked - shocked! - to learn that handing out experimental hormones like candy and billing insurance for it could draw federal scrutiny.

"Look, we were just following the science," said a visibly sweating hospital administrator who definitely does not want his name used. "The science that said puberty is a disease and every tomboy secretly needs a fake penis. How were we supposed to know the DOJ would get all weird about it?"

Experts remain divided on whether this sudden burst of sanity will spread to other elite medical institutions, or if they'll just wait for the next administration to green-light turning playgrounds into gender assembly lines again. For now, de-transitioners finally have a little help picking up the pieces after the medical establishment's greatest "oopsie" since lobotomies were considered progressive.

Texas Dem Senate Candidate James Talarico Proudly Rebrands As "Talafreako," Launches Official Freak Merch Line

AUSTIN, TX—In a bold strategic masterstroke that political experts are calling "the most normal thing a Democrat has done all week," Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico has fully embraced his new nickname "Talafreako," graciously bestowed upon him by Republican opponent Ken Paxton.

Why did Paxton do so? Because Talarico freaking is.

The progressive leftist is now selling "I'm a Talafreako" T-shirts on his campaign website, proving once and for all that nothing says "serious Senate contender" like turning an insult into your entire brand identity, and while one can claim to be a socialist, it's capitalism that paved the way.

While speaking at a general election kickoff event in Houston this week, Talarico encouraged supporters to purchase a T-shirt, saying, "I also saw that Ken Paxton started calling me ‘Talafreako,’ and I am proud to announce that we have ‘I'm a Talafreako’ T-shirts on our website. So, when you go home tonight, make sure you grab one."

After Talarico exited the stage, the crowd at the Houston rally began chanting "Talafreako" repeatedly, in what observers described as either unbridled enthusiasm or the auditory equivalent of a cry for help.

Despite the bravado, some believe that, with Talarico already having to deal with a series of highly controversial resurfaced comments, the move will backfire with moderate Texas voters. Talarico’s prior comments include saying that "God is nonbinary," that there are six genders and that the Bible supports abortion.

He offered no examples, no proof of his blasphemous and biological claims. For example, he said in 2021 during a Texas House debate on a bill restricting transgender athletes, that there are six biological sexes. “Modern science recognizes that there are many more than two biological sexes — in fact, there are six.” This cretin was referring to chromosomal variations (e.g., XX, XY, XXY, XYY, XXX, XYY). Critics called it unscientific or an overreach to argue sex is a spectrum; he has since clarified there are two sexes (men and women) while noting rare chromosomal conditions deserve dignity.

In 2021 he said "God is nonbinary." In the same or related transgender policy debate, he stated: “God is both masculine and feminine and everything in between. God is nonbinary.” He later explained it as intentionally provocative to mean God transcends human categories, citing Galatians (“in Christ there is neither male nor female”).

Republicans and critics viewed it as insulting to Christianity or Jesus and even to God the Father.

In 2020 our genius lefty claimed that racism is a "virus." After Ahmaud Arbery’s killing. He posted on X equating racism to a virus and wrote: “White skin gives me and every white American immunity from the virus. But we spread it wherever we go—through our words, our actions, and our systems. We don’t have to be showing symptoms—like a white hood or a Confederate flag—to be contagious.”

He called for diagnosing it within ourselves and supporting #BlackLivesMatter.

When restrictions on transgender participation was proposed regarding men in women's sports, this idiot called parental concerns a "far-right conspiracy."

He criticized Christian nationalism, and supported progressive policies on abortion and immigration.

A strategist familiar with the Senate race remarked to Fox News Digital that "Talarico can’t run from his record of supporting every freaky left-wing policy under the sun."

"Selling merch that says ‘Talafreako’ on it is just going to remind people that he is on the wrong side of every 80/20 issue," the strategist said, adding, "It’s so weird."

The thing is, the dude really is a freak and if Texas votes him in, they will learn their mistake the hard way.

Can an old commie flip Texas? Dems unleash a secret weapon to loosen up the state: a 900-Year-Old guy from Vahmont

AUSTIN, TX—In a desperate bid to halt the unstoppable Trump juggernaut and claw back at least one chamber of Congress, Democrats have set their sights on mission impossible: flipping Texas. With redistricting proving to be yet another catastrophic L for the party of joy and vibes, party strategists have reportedly concluded that the only thing standing between them and total irrelevance is . . .  dusting off Bernie Sanders.

Yes, that Bernie Sanders; the guy who honeymooned in Russia and in late 2016 to 2017, after his book royalties made him a millionaire, stopped using his familiar phrase "millionaires and billionaires and dropped the "millionaires" from his Brooklyn accent vocabulary when addressing wealth inequality.

Hypocrisy much?

State Democrats took to social media this week to teasingly post a mysterious silhouetted figure who will address the Texas Democratic Convention in June. Political analysts, after squinting at the image for three seconds, confirmed what everyone already knew: it’s the same wild-haired, finger-wagging socialist who’s been cosplaying as a revolutionary since the Coolidge administration.

The move comes as Democrats rally behind Senate candidate James Talarico, a man so far left he makes Karl Marx look like a Heritage Foundation intern. Republicans have gleefully pointed out Talarico’s greatest hits on open borders, gender theology, sneering at Christianity, and enthusiastic support for abortion up to and including the college graduation ceremony. Now, with Bernie Sanders, fresh off endorsing race-communist Zohran Mamdani in New York, riding shotgun to pump up the base, experts agree: this is exactly the moderate, relatable messaging deep-red Texans have been craving.

“He’s a man of the people,” said one Texas Democrat strategist, while quietly updating his résumé for a think tank job in Virginia. “Bernie’s authenticity will really resonate with ranchers in Lubbock and oil workers in Midland. Just wait until they hear about the free college and wealth taxes!”

Talarico, with full Bernie endorsement energy, will go on to face either Sen. John Cornyn or Texas AG Ken Paxton in November, in what insiders are already calling “the most normal election Texas has ever seen.”

Jimmy Talarico refers to Jesus as a "barefoot rabbi" demands federal land leases for abortion in video

Texas state Rep. James Talarico, who recently won the Democratic [leftist] nomination for U.S. Senate, once advocated for federal land leases to abortion providers and referred to Jesus as a “barefoot rabbi,” a phrase that appears on his Senate campaign site.

In a 2022 address delivered at the Texas Democratic [leftist] Convention in Dallas, Talarico, a Presbyterian seminary student and former public school teacher, blended personal stories of resilience with a forceful call for Democrats to confront what he described as an existential threat to democracy. He invoked his experiences teaching on San Antonio’s West Side, his mother’s escape from domestic abuse, and Texas Democratic icons to urge aggressive action against “Trumpism” and “fascism.”

Talarico lambasted national Democratic leaders at the time for what he called a lack of resolve in contrast with Texas Democrats’ scrappiness, exemplified by political figures like former President Lyndon Baines Johnson, state Sens. Barbara Jordan and Wendy Davis, and former U.S. Rep. Robert 'Beto' O’Rourke.

“The Democratic Party is the only thing standing between this country and fascism, yet the most our national party leaders can muster is spineless talking points and soulless fundraising emails,” he said. “National Democrats, you know, the ones who fly into Texas to fundraise and then don’t spend a penny of that money in our state. They don’t know how to fight.”

He urged then-President Joe Biden, whom he said “saved our nation” from President Donald Trump following the 2020 election, to once and for all 'restore its soul by defeating Trumpism.' “We need you and our nation’s leaders to start using every tool in the toolbox to protect our freedom. Lease federal land to abortion providers, declare a public health emergency, impeach justices who lied under oath, prosecute Trump and his fellow insurrectionists, and finally, call the filibuster what it is, a Jim Crow relic that’s standing between the American people and cheap prescription drugs, universal pre-K and a livable planet.”

In his speech, Talarico framed the political fight in explicitly Christian terms, referring to Jesus as “a barefoot rabbi” who gave two commandments: love God and love neighbor. A review by The Christian Post of Talarico’s campaign website found additional references to Jesus as a “barefoot rabbi.”

CP reached out to Talarico’s campaign for comment on Tuesday.

The 2022 speech, which Talarico has echoed in his current Senate campaign materials emphasizing a “top versus bottom” divide and the need to “flip tables” of injustice, has resurfaced following his victory over U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), in the March 3 Democratic primary. He now awaits the winner of the May 26 Republican runoff between incumbent Sen. John Cornyn and Attorney General Ken Paxton.

In a March 13 interview on Fox News’ “The Brian Kilmeade Show,” Trump took aim at Talarico’s campaign, calling the candidate “whacked out with his six different forms of gender.” The president appeared to refer to a 2021 statement by Talarico in which he said God is “both masculine, feminine and everything in between.”

Calling Talarico’s statement an “insult to Jesus,” Trump added, “He is so woke. He’s beyond woke. … When you see what this guy said about gender and about other topics …” While Trump has backed off an earlier pledge to endorse in the May 3 runoff vote between Cornyn and Paxton, he called Talarico’s defeat of Crockett “good news” for either candidate.

Judge blocks fake Hispanic, Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke from fundraising for Texas cowards who fled the state

O'Rourke at the dentist

Hold onto your sombreros, amigos, because Texas just threw a legal haymaker at Robert Francis "Beto" O’Rourke.

A Tarrant County district judge, Megan Fahey, dropped a temporary restraining order on Friday evening that has senor Beto’s fundraising for the runaway Texas Democrats, who bolted the state to dodge a vote on a new congressional map, in a chokehold.

Beto speaks to Hispanic voters

Judge Fahey didn’t mince words in her order, saying, "Defendants have and will continue to engage in unlawful fundraising practices and utilization of political funds in a manner that either directly violates or causes Texas Democratic Legislators to violate: (1) Texas Penal Code,§ 36.01(3); (2) Texas Elections Code, § 253.035; (3) Rule 5, § 3 of the House Rules of Procedure; and (4) Tex. Pen. Code §§ 36.08, 36.10.”

So it's clear that Beto's playing fast and loose with the law, and the court’s not having it.

The order goes on, stating, "Consumers have and continue to suffer irreparable harm through these unlawful acts because they are making political contributions that are being used to fund personal expenses and violate State law."

Fahey is basically saying Beto's scheme is picking the pockets of donors to bankroll the personal joyrides of these AWOL Democrats.Fahey didn't stop there. She called out the fundraising as "false, misleading, or deceptive acts under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, Tex. Bus. & Com. Code §§ 17.46(a), (b)(2), (b)(5), (b)(7), and (b)(24) because Defendants are raising and utilizing political contributions from Texas consumers to pay for the personal expenses of Texas legislators, in violation of Texas law." In other words, Beto's allegedly been running a bait-and-switch, selling political passion but delivering personal perks.

This all kicked off when Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, never one to shy away from a fight, sued O'Rourke and his group, Powered by People, earlier that day. Paxton's press release pulled no punches, accusing them of "unlawful fundraising activity, including potentially operating a misleading financial-influence scheme to fund runaway Democrats who fled Texas to break quorum." Paxton came out swinging, saying, "Democrat runaways are likely accepting Beto Bribes to underwrite their jet-setting sideshow in far-flung places and misleadingly raising political funds to pay for personal expenses. This out-of-state, cowardly cabal is abandoning their constitutional duties. I will not allow failed political has-beens to buy off Texas elected officials. I’ll see you in court, Beto."

Beto being Beto

Paxton is claiming O'Rourke and his cronies "intentionally misled" donors, tricking them into thinking they were funding a noble political cause when, in reality, the cash was allegedly covering the Democrats' personal expenses.

The press release lays it out: "By knowingly blurring the distinction, O'Rourke and Powered by People sought to take advantage of uninformed donors by directing them to explicitly political fundraising platforms, all while intending to use the funds for purposes they understood to be constituted as personal expenditures. Texas law prohibits organizations from engaging in false, misleading, and deceptive acts, such as the fundraising scheme operated by O'Rourke and Powered by People."

After the restraining order landed, Paxton couldn't resist a victory lap. "The Beto Bribe buyouts that were bankrolling the runaway Democrats have been officially stopped," he said. "People like Robert believe Texas can be bought. Today, I stopped his deceptive financial influence scheme that attempted to deceive donors and subvert our constitutional process. They told me to 'come and take it,' so I did."

So, there you have it--a Texas-sized legal smackdown. Beto's fundraising hustle just hit a brick wall, and Paxton's grinning like he just won the Alamo.

Hey guys, if you enjoy Brain Flushings, I hope you'll consider supporting my work with a small donation to Buy Me a Coffee. It fuels my late-night writing sessions with fresh ideas. No pressure.

Texas AG launches probe into potential "illegal" trans procedures on kids

An investigation into Austin-based Dell Children's Medical Center was announced by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Friday after video evidence showed staff there saying they had children as young as 8-years-old "transitioning," a term used by progressives to destigmatize genital mutilation and chemical castration in some cases.

AG Paxton issued a Request to Examine (“RTE”) to the Dell Children’s Medical Center, demanding that they turn over information and answer questions about the alleged activities at the hospital in which children could undergo life-altering mutilation.

“It is now alarmingly common for fringe activists to use their positions in medicine and health care to force experimental, life-altering procedures onto children,” Paxton said in a statement. “Across the country, there are doctors and health care professionals who appear willing to sacrifice the long-term health of American children, all in service to the increasingly dangerous fad of ‘transgender’ extremism.”

Yeah, but think of their financial gains, just in lifelong doctor visits and drug treatment alone.

“It is deeply disturbing, and there is no place for it in Texas,” Paxton added. “Along these lines, there have been a number of recent reports about potentially illegal activity at Dell Children’s Medical Center, and this investigation aims to uncover the truth.”

The investigation follows the publication of a report by Project Veritas, an investigative group. An undercover video on April 19th apparently shows hospital officials admitting to treating children as young as 8-years-old for what the left calls transgenderism, but in reality is gender confusion or gender dysphoria. They also admit to recommending puberty blockers [chemical castration drugs] for a 10-year-old and cross-sex hormones for kids as young as 14!

“We do have patients who are starting [transition] as young as 8, 9 [years old],” said Nora Scott. She's a licensed social worker at Austin-based Dell Children’s Medical Center, according to Project Veritas. Social workers no longer have the role of protecting kids, it seems.

Dell Children’s Medical Center responded to AG Paxton’s investigation by claiming in-part:
Our organization prohibits surgery and prescribing hormone therapy, including puberty blockers, for the treatment of gender dysphoria in children and adolescents. If any employee or contracted provider acts in a manner that is inconsistent with our organizational position regarding gender dysphoria care of minors, we take appropriate action.
Paxton then responded in kind, posting on Twitter:
“Dell Children’s responded to my investigation and said they don’t engage in these abusive practices. Their cooperation is welcomed. I look forward to reviewing all requested documents. This is a win for Texas kids, but I won’t back down. As Reagan said, ‘Trust, but Verify.'”
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) also blasted the hospital in an interview in April on Newsmax where he said that the undercover video was "horrific" stating, “I think a child that is eight years old, does not have the maturity to make permanent life-altering decisions. We see institutions across the country performing genital mutilation, performing surgeries where they remove perfectly healthy genitals from children, little boys or little girls, making them no longer able to have children for the rest of their lives. That is horrific. I think that’s child abuse.”

Cruz along with Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX)  began an investigation into the practices at Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Now comes the coverup.

Uvalde city officials avoid handing over police records on school massacre

Uvalde city officials are trying to keep records on the Texas school district's police response and the police chief of the school massacre on May 24 that left 19 children and two teachers dead. The reason for holding back the records that were requested by the media may have something to do with the fact that it took 77 minutes before the shooter was neutralized even while shooting inside a classroom while the police waited, for some reason.

Lawyers hired by the city wrote to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, giving 52 reasons why they should not have to go along with "numerous" requests for the truth under Texas' sunshine laws. But there are 21 reasons why they should, and they all have names.

The proverbial excrement hit the fan when it was revealed that Uvalde's police chief Pete Arrendondo, had his gaggle of cops go in after the gunman as he was behind a closed door shooting kids while dozens of officers stayed safe in the hallway hoping he would stop shooting them.

The New York Post requested the audio from the 911 calls, some made by terrified students, as the killer entered the Robb Elementary School. Other media outlets requested records related to Arrendondo.

The city lawyers' letter asked AG Paxton to rule on whether the information requested by media outlets is "excepted from disclosure under the Public Information Act." After all, the city doesn't want to embarrass the cops nor Arrendondo.

Not-so Fun Fact: the mother of one of the children tried to enter the school but was stopped and temporarily handcuffed by the police who were nowhere near the 'danger zone.'

"The City claims that the requested information is not information that is collected, assembled, or maintained under a law or ordinance or in connection with the transaction of official business by a governmental body or for a governmental body or is excepted from disclosure," the letter, signed by attorney Cynthia Trevino, said.

Arredondo has received the brunt of the blame, for some reason, of the cowardly police response to the shooting after he moronically ordered law enforcement to try talking it out with the gunman while he was busy pulling the trigger. It was almost an hour before a group, comprised mostly of US Border Patrol agents, to go against Arrendondo's orders, and stormed into the classroom, killing the scumbag.

And the Left demonizes the US Border Patrol.

Valdez Consolidated Independent School District Superintendent Hal Harrell refused to reveal last week whether Arredondo was still employed by the city because he was embarrassed to do so. The Uvalde Chief of Police has kept a low profile out of fear. people will say mean things to him and make him feel unsafe.

Question: How many Uvalde police officers  does it take to change a lightbulb?
Answer: None. They'll wait for the US Border Patrol to change it for them.

WaPo says Elon Musk's "Twitter investment could be bad news for free speech" Musk responds and so does Substack

This is not a joke: on Tuesday, the Washington Post wrote a piece titled: "Elon Musk's Twitter Investment Could Be Bad News for Free Speech." Musk's response was succinct and perfectly worded:

WaPo always good for a laugh 🤣🤣
It's laughable to believe that Twitter was ever a bastion of free speech. They ban anyone for anything with which they disagree. They banned a standing President [Trump], a satire sight for posting satire that went against their wokeness, anyone who said anything about the pandemic, anything negative about Dr. Fauci and anything else that went against their woke agenda.

Twitter locked out the account of the Babylon Bee, a satirical site, for an article proclaiming Rachel Levine, a man who thinks he's a woman, as winning the "Man of the Year Award." The Bee refuses to take down their tweet, and while Twitter could have deleted it themselves, would rather have "offenders" bend the knee to their demands.

Twitter took similar action against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, who had the audacity and lacking of a degree in biology to point out on that “Rachel Levine is a man.” He was subsequently flagged for “hateful conduct” by the Tech giant.

Last August, Allie Beth Stuckey, a conservative, was suspended by Twitter for a tweet that criticized Olympic weightlifter Laurel Hubbard, a man with his penis and testicles, XY chromosomes and greater muscle mass, for competing against females. He didn't win, but he is still a man.

Twitter is a steaming garbage heap of hypocrisy and WaPo is their kindling, and hopefully Musk will do something about the platform.

Now a number of Twitter employees are worried that Elon Musk has joined the board of directors promising free speech and some leftists are leaving the company.

Substack, another tech company invited new employment applications to their company, expcept from Twitter employees disgruntled by "Elon Musk pushing for less regulated speech."

Lulu Cheng Meservey — the vice president of communications for Substack, a platform that supports subscription newsletters — told Twitter employees to not bother applying if they worry about Musk’s reforms.

“Substack is hiring! If you’re a Twitter employee who’s considering resigning because you’re worried about Elon Musk pushing for less regulated speech… please do not come work here,” she tweeted. “But for everybody else, we really are hiring! Join a talented, determined, passionate, motley team of all backgrounds and beliefs. We debate respectfully, execute maniacally, and live to serve writers and podcasters.”

Texas sues Facebook bigly: says FB was 'secretly capturing' users' "highly sensitive information"

The great state of Texas is suing Facebook's parent company, Meta Platforms Inc., alleging they violated the state's privacy protections, as the media giant faces more legal battles.

The lawsuit was filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. It states that Facebook unlawfully collected facial recognition data without user consent, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.

Meta has discontinued their facial recognition technology, which was often used for “tag suggestions” to encourage users to link photos to a friend’s profile, which would add to the data collection.

The Texas lawsuit alleges that Facebook should be responsible for billions of dollars in damages. Paxton said that the company violated the privacy laws of Texas by using the biometric data of millions throughout the state, both those who used Facebook and those who did not.

“In this action, the State alleges that Facebook unlawfully captured the biometric identifiers of Texans for a commercial purpose without their informed consent, disclosed those identifiers to others and failed to destroy collected identifiers within a reasonable time, all in violation of the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act,” the lawsuit states.

Paxton also released a statement alleging the company captured facial geometry in photos that users uploaded from 2010 to last year — when Facebook discontinued their facial recognition. This resulted in “tens of million of violations” of Texas law.

“Facebook has been secretly harvesting Texans’ most personal information — photos and videos — for its own corporate profit,” Paxton said, the WSJ reported.

“Texas law has prohibited such harvesting without informed consent for over 20 years. While ordinary Texans have been using Facebook to innocently share photos of loved ones with friends and family, we now know that Facebook has been brazenly ignoring Texas law for the last decade,” he added.

“‘Facebook was secretly capturing, disclosing, unlawfully retaining — and profiting off of — Texans’ most personal and highly sensitive information,” the complaint reads, according to the WSJ.

Texas law makes it unlawful to capture people’s biometric identifiers without consent. The state’s laws also prohibit sharing any identifier information.

The Texas law provides a $25,000 fine per violation and with millions of Texans using the platform, the lawsuit is estimated to run billions of dollars in damages, the WSJ wrote.

Paxton condemned “Big Tech” in general for illegal practices like this, and said that Facebook must stop taking advantage of its users in this way.

“Facebook will no longer take advantage of people and their children with the intent to turn a profit at the expense of one’s safety and well-being. This is yet another example of Big Tech’s deceitful business practices, and it must stop. I will continue to fight for Texans’ privacy and security,” Paxton said in a statement.

While this lawsuit is quite significant because it's coming from a state, other similar lawsuits have been levied against the company.

Last year Facebook settled a class action suit that users brought against it. The suit said that user data has been used without consent. Facebook settled for $650 million, NPR, a taxpayer-funded, left wing outlet reported.

In addition to class action suits, the Federal Trade Commission and other state attorney generals have filed suits against Meta, like the one in 2019, when the company agreed to create more oversight in a privacy settlement with the FTC and also had to pay a $5 billion fine.

“The FTC and nearly every state attorney general are also seeking to break up Meta for allegedly squashing competition to maintain its dominance in social networking,” The Times reported.

Meta has been vocal about defending itself in these suits, however.

“These claims are without merit, and we will defend ourselves vigorously,” a spokesperson for Meta said, The Times reported.

Hopefully, the Texas lawsuit will succeed and Facebook will get what it deserves.

Judge indefinitely bans Biden's 100-day moratorium on deportation

The Biden administration, under the direction of the person in charge of loading Biden's TelePrompter with words, tried to impose a 100-day pause on deportations of illegal immigrants. Unfortunately for Biden, a district judge extended a ban on its imposition that was triggered by a lawsuit from Texas in which the state's Attorney General Ken Paxton had argued that it violated federal law and an agreement with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that Texas be consulted before such a move.

If it was left up to the Biden administration, there would be no such thing as an illegal alien/immigrant. They would be called "undocumented trailblazers." There would be no walls to stop them, no papers to identify them, and the only reason to keep them out would be to discover they would vote Republican. Even the idea they may be carrying the coronavirus doesn't appear to worry the left.

Biden had campaigned on the 100-day pause as part of a sweeping immigration agenda that includes a halt on border wall construction, an end to the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) and a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants who would likely tend to vote Democrat.

The broad "pause" would have had a few exceptions: terrorists and people engaged in espionage or pose a danger to national security. It would also exclude those who were not present in the U.S. before Nov. 1, 2020, those who agreed to waive the right to remain, and those whom the ICE director individually determined need to be removed by law.

But Texas asserts that the directive violates the U.S. Constitution and federal law. It also goes against a contractual agreement between Texas and DHS which was signed in the final days of the Trump administration that the state would be consulted before reducing immigration enforcement or pausing deportations.

The agreement means that DHS must provide Texas with 180 days' notice of any proposed change on any matter that would reduce enforcement or increase the number of "removable or inadmissible aliens" in the U.S. Paxton claims that agreement has been violated.

"Our state defends the largest section of the southern border in the nation. Failure to properly enforce the law will directly and immediately endanger our citizens and law enforcement personnel," Paxton said in a statement last month.

The Biden administration has since issued temporary guidance {3 months) to ICE agents, informing them that they will need pre-approval from managers to arrest some illegal immigrants if they do not fall into the categories similar to those that were also exempted from the deportation freeze.

The guidance is in place until DHS can issue further guidance and it doesn't explicitly prevent anyone from being arrested or deported, but directs resources at certain targets.

High School girl who refused to stand for the pledge of allegiance, settles out of court

Texas -- Between the 2016 and 2017 school year, Windfern High School student India Landry refused to stand for the pledge of allegiance. But Texas law requires that if a minor is going to exhibit such resistance, they must have permission from the parent. If not, they must stand for the pledge.

Landry continued to refuse standing for the pledge and as a result, she was expelled from the school. Principal Martha Strother ordered India to leave the school or else the law would be involved.

“I don’t think that the flag is what it says it’s for, for liberty and justice and all that. It’s not obviously what’s going on in America today,” Landry said.

She filed a lawsuit against the school district.

State Attorney General Ken Paxton intervened thusly:
“Schoolchildren cannot unilaterally refuse to participate in the pledge. Requiring the pledge to be recited at the start of every school day has the laudable result of fostering respect for our flag and a patriotic love of our country. The U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly held that parents have a fundamental interest in guiding the education and upbringing of their children, which is a critical aspect of liberty guaranteed by the Constitution.”
Paxton’s court filing read as follows:
“The United States flag represents the values of liberty and justice that form the foundation of this country and are defended by our armed forces. It is thus deserving of the highest levels of reverence and respect, which is expressed through every recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.”
The school district made a failed attempt to have the case dismissed. India’s attorney wanted to go. all. the. way.

“If Cy-Fair wants to bury its head in the sand and say we will violate these people’s rights, then we will go to the court and we will go all the way to the Supreme Court if we have to.”

So why did she think the country was so crappy? She was awakened to the nation's crappiness by the NFL. As per the Houston Chronicle:

Landry told reporters in July that her opposition to the pledge was political, inspired by NFL players kneeling during the National Anthem to draw attention to a surge of police violence against African-Americans. [The fact is, there hasn't been a surge in police violence against blacks or any one group. Blacks, it turns out, are less likely to be victims of police shootings than whites.]

The lawsuit accuses the principal, vice principal, secretary and two teachers of violating Landry’s rights to free speech, equal protection and due process and of singling her out because she was black.

The first step, upon hearing something, should be to first find out if it’s true. Look at the evidence and facts. India didn’t do that and neither did the NFL players.

Fact: statistics don’t bear out Colin Kaepernick’s police violence position, and that's what makes him a crappy role model to young people He proceeded with ignorance, going on something he’d heard from his girlfriend perhaps, but did not verify it. The result is a chain of stupidity.

As it turned out for India, she and the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District have settled out of court. But her mother too should have known better and she along with India, should have done a little fact checking.

Texas investigating Democrat's mailers asking non-citizens to register to vote

Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos has asked state Attorney General Ken Paxton to start an investigation into the Democratic Party's efforts to ask non-citizens to sign up to vote. That would be the only way a Democrat would have a chance of winning in the Lone Star State.

"The numerous calls and complaints we have received regarding pre-filled voter registration applications sent to ineligible voters are highly disturbing," Pablos said in a statement Monday.

Mr. Pablos was referring to mailers sent out by the state Democratic Party. It urged people to sign up to vote, and warning about impending deadlines they needed to beat. Interestingly, the mailing included a voter application that already had the boxes pre-checked for age and citizenship.

Hopefully, the investigation will also look into possible voters who have died over the last several decades, when Social Security numbers were issued.

Some of the mail was sent to non-citizens, which makes them ineligible. Can you hear it now: "Oops, that was just an oversight."

The mailings were sent from the state party, but had pre-addressed return envelopes addressed to election officials, making it seem as if the communication were official from the state.

Encouraging fraudulent voter registration is a crime, but officials said they would have to first investigate to know if the Democrats crossed that line.

The Washington Times reported about the mailings last week when Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) filed complaints with prosecutors in two Texas counties. PILF praised the secretary of state's request for an investigation.

"The Texas Democratic Party had no business altering voter registration forms," PILF spokesman Logan Churchwell said. "The party apparently does not grasp the lifelong consequences their actions can carry against affected immigrants--yet it was willing to risk them to squeeze votes for an overhyped Senate race."

The Democratic Party refused to allow any media to question them and insisted questions be emailed.

The Washington Times did, in fact, email them questions, but they too have not been answered.

When a reporter went to the state Democratic Headquarters, a sign was hung outside that read: "Will return in 15 minutes," but they never returned and the reporter thought he saw someone peeking through the blinds and movement by the dumpster.
