Illegal alien sentenced to 6 years for child sex crimes after Fairfax officials ignored ICE detainer, released him: DHS

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA—Demonstrating their unwavering commitment to progressive values and hospitality, enlightened virtue-signaling Fairfax County officials successfully released an illegal immigrant wanted for child sex crimes back into the community after courageously ignoring a pesky federal detainer.

Roni Mendez-Escobar, a Guatemalan national who had already mastered the art of crossing the U.S. border by doing it three separate times in 2015 alone, was arrested on October 23, 2025, for possession of child sex abuse material. 

Recognizing a prime opportunity to stand up against xenophobia, local officials swiftly discarded a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer and set him free just four days later without bothering to notify federal authorities.

Unfortunately for the visionary sanctuary bureaucrats, heartless federal agents ruined the feel-good story by apprehending Mendez-Escobar at a court hearing on April 22, 2026. 

On September 16, the scumcrumpet was sentenced to merely six years and five months in prison.

“This illegal alien was sentenced to six years in prison after being convicted of child pornography and illegal re-entry,” said DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin. “When ICE lodged a detainer for him after his arrest in October 2025, sanctuary politicians in Fairfax County, Virginia refused to honor it and RELEASED him into their community. Fortunately, their attempts to protect this pedophile failed and ICE arrested him several months later. Now he will be behind bars where he belongs, and when he finishes his sentence, ICE will be ready to deport him so he can never threaten another American child.”

Meanwhile, Fairfax County leaders were reportedly drafting a sternly worded resolution expressing deep disappointment that oppressive federal laws interfered with their vibrant community outreach program.

Woman Who Called ICE “Nazis” Punches State Trooper, Later Admits She “Messed Up Really Ugly”

JACKSONVILLE, FL — A local woman conducting important First Amendment work from behind the wheel of a moving Dodge Ram has pleaded guilty after punching a Florida Highway Patrol trooper in the face during a joint immigration operation, then kicking several more officers for good measure.

Jennifer Susan Cruz of Jacksonville was driving on Beach Boulevard near Mi Pueblo on January 13, 2026, when she spotted Florida Highway Patrol and federal immigration officers conducting a traffic stop.

 Sensing history, and perhaps personal fame unfolding, she began recording on her phone while tailgating, an act authorities later described as unsafe and unlawful cellphone use. 

A trooper approached her about that. Cruz grew argumentative, referred to ICE as “Nazis,” and asked the trooper not to shoot her in the face.

Officials say her license was suspended. 

She then drove off a short distance until troopers boxed her in. Once stopped, Cruz refused to surrender her keys and announced she was “ready to fight.” When officers tried to take the keys, she punched an FHP trooper in the face with a closed fist. The trooper was injured in the nose and fingers. 

Cruz then resisted, kicked officers including an ICE officer who injured a hand and a CBP agent, and was tased. She later apologized and said she “messed up really ugly.” [Not surprisingly, she has lived with ugly for the best part of her adult life.]

Cruz faced state charges plus a federal charge of assaulting officers conducting an immigration operation. She pleaded guilty in June 2026. Prosecutors have cited a statutory maximum of 20 years. Sentencing is scheduled for late September 2026. 

Actual prison time, if any, will be decided by the judge and is typically far below the maximum because in large part, law and order has been canceled in our nation.

Online commentators immediately identified the real issue: she must have mistaken the state trooper for an ICE agent, which would have made the punch principled, albeit illegal and deserving of incarceration.

Official DOJ and police accounts do not say that. She was interacting with a clearly identified state trooper assisting ICE. ICE vehicles and officers were present. The punch occurred during the key-surrender struggle after the suspended-license stop, not because she thought the trooper was ICE.

The popular photo pairing of Cruz next to an ICE-marked vehicle reflects the joint operation. It does not prove a case of mistaken identity. It does prove she managed to assault both the people she thought were “Nazis” and the people she did not. 

In short, she punched an FHP trooper during an ICE-assisted operation, she pleaded guilty, and 20 years is the stated maximum, with the likelihood of it being imposed on par with finding the Holy Grail. 

The “mistook him for ICE” framing remains meme editorializing, not what the charging documents describe. At press time, Cruz had not yet released a statement clarifying whether punching a state trooper counts as punching up.

Deported Illegal Immigrant Allegedly Returns To U.S., Steals Audi, Gets Drunk, Drives Wrong Way, Kills Young Dad

DUNCANVILLE, TX, In what immigration officials apparently call the "we'll see you again soon" program, a previously deported illegal immigrant is accused of killing a young father while allegedly driving drunk in a stolen Audi the wrong way down a North Texas highway.

Alexander Nunez, 26, allegedly slammed into a vehicle carrying 29-year-old Kenan Ellis and two of his cousins shortly before midnight on September 3 on Highway 67 in Duncanville.

Ellis had recently celebrated his 29th birthday.

Unfortunately, the celebration was followed by what authorities say was an encounter with a previously deported illegal immigrant who had apparently managed to make his way back into the country, acquire access to a stolen luxury automobile, get intoxicated, and drive it directly into oncoming traffic.

Ellis was returning home from a music video shoot for popular rapper BigXThaPlug when the crash occurred, his uncle, Xavier Hicks, told conservative media outlet The Daily Wire. Hicks said the rapper was driving close behind.

Ellis leaves behind a 7-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter.

Federal authorities had previously deported Nunez, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman told The Daily Wire. Nunez later illegally re-entered the United States without being encountered at the border.

Apparently, "You have been deported" is now less of a legal order and more of a customer loyalty program.

Nunez faces charges of intoxication assault, intoxication manslaughter, and unauthorized use of a vehicle. He is being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $110,000 bond.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement also lodged a detainer, asking local authorities to transfer Nunez to federal custody if they release him.

In other words, the federal government would very much like to have another opportunity to deport the man it already deported.

“Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, if you break the law, you will face the consequences. Criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the U.S.,” the DHS spokesperson said.

When Hicks learned that Nunez had previously been deported, his reaction was understandably brief.

“Wow.”

There are moments when the English language simply runs out of words.

“Honestly and truthfully, that’s unfortunate. But my faith keeps telling me that it was God’s timing,” Hicks said.

“I hold no malice in my heart for Alexander Nunez,” he added.

That is an extraordinary amount of grace from a man whose family has just been devastated.

Ellis’ cousins were left with multiple broken bones, while one is expected to be in a wheelchair for several months, according to Fox 4. Both are expected to recover.

The three men were roughly five minutes from home when the crash occurred.

Five minutes.

They were close enough to home that the tragedy almost certainly began with thoughts about getting through the front door, taking off their shoes and going to bed.

Instead, one man never made it home.

Authorities determined that Nunez was intoxicated after he failed field sobriety tests, Fox 4 reported.

Ellis’ sister, Siniya Allen, described her late brother as “a great dad,” “an amazing brother,” and “an amazing son.”

“He was there for all his friends. He was just a great person,” she told Fox 4.

Ellis is survived by his 7-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter.

Allen said Nunez’s alleged actions left her family with an overwhelming loss.

“He took something important from us. I lost a brother. My mom lost a son. I have another brother. He lost his sibling. His kids have to grow up without a dad. No kid should have to do that at the expense of somebody else’s actions,” Siniya said.

She is right.

No child should have to grow up without a father because someone allegedly decided that drinking, stealing a car and driving the wrong way down a highway was a perfectly reasonable evening itinerary.

And perhaps the most maddening detail is that this did not involve some mysterious individual who had never crossed the government's radar.

Authorities had already found him.

They had already deported him.

He came back.

Now a young father is dead, two families are dealing with serious injuries, and two children are growing up without their dad.

But at least the government has apparently discovered a bold new immigration policy:

Deport them and hope they don't notice the border is still there.

NJ Mayor Says Sanctuary Policies Need a Tune-Up After Baby Killed in Crash

Apparently, there are limits to how many “condolences” a grieving family can use in place of actual government policy.

Jackson Township Mayor Jennifer Kuhn is asking New Jersey to reconsider its sanctuary policies after authorities say an illegal immigrant without a driver's license allegedly plowed into a family in a grocery store parking lot, killing a 9-month-old boy.

Because nothing says “well-functioning immigration system” quite like discovering that someone allegedly driving without a license was apparently not supposed to be driving in the first place.

"If our police pull somebody over and they're undocumented... they can't call the federal agencies, they can't call ICE. That needs to change," Kuhn told Fox News Digital. "Condolences at this point are not enough. At this point, leadership needs to step in. And we have to do something."

That last sentence may come as a shocking concept in New Jersey: do something.

Authorities say Maria Cobon-Guzman, a 20-year-old Guatemalan national who did not have a driver's license, struck a mother pushing a stroller with her 9-month-old son and 5-year-old daughter on Aug. 28 in the parking lot of a kosher grocery store in Jackson.

The baby was killed. The mother and 5-year-old were critically injured.

Kuhn says the tragedy illustrates the consequences of policies that restrict cooperation between local law enforcement and federal immigration authorities.

"These issues shouldn't happen whether you're illegal or legal. But the problem is that we can't hold them accountable if they're not documented and they're illegal aliens," she said.

This apparently remains a controversial position in a state where asking too many questions about someone's immigration status can make government officials nervous.

Cobon-Guzman has been charged with manslaughter. Prosecutors also charged Ariadna Lazaro-Flores, alleging that she allowed Cobon-Guzman to drive her vehicle despite knowing she did not have a driver's license.

Lazaro-Flores, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent person, according to an inmate report.

And the immigration history makes the situation even more difficult to explain away.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, both women illegally entered the United States during the Biden administration. Lazaro-Flores allegedly entered five times in October 2023 and was removed each time.

Cobon-Guzman entered once in October 2023 but was released into the interior of the country. On July 31, an immigration judge issued an order of removal against her.

So apparently there were multiple opportunities for the immigration system to say, “Perhaps this person should not remain here.”

The system apparently had other plans.

At the center of Kuhn's criticism is New Jersey's Immigrant Trust Directive, implemented under former Gov. Phil Murphy in 2018.

Among other provisions, the directive generally restricts police from asking about a person's immigration status, notifying Immigration and Customs Enforcement when someone is released from custody, or sharing certain non-public personal information for civil immigration enforcement.

Current New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill signed legislation codifying the directive into state law in March.

Kuhn wants the Jackson Township Council to pass a resolution demanding that New Jersey roll back such policies.

"I know that there's other towns around in Ocean County and in other counties that are also doing the same. Something needs to change," Kuhn said.

Naturally, supporters of sanctuary-style policies disagree.

They argue that restricting cooperation with federal immigration authorities builds trust with immigrant communities and encourages victims and witnesses to report crimes.

Because apparently one of the great achievements of modern government is making sure people who are here illegally feel sufficiently comfortable that nobody checks why they are here.

Dan Prochilo, a spokesperson for the New Jersey Attorney General's Office, defended the Immigrant Trust Directive and other sanctuary-style reforms signed by Sherrill.

According to Prochilo, county jails and state prisons can notify ICE when someone is being released if they are charged with or convicted of certain violent or serious crimes.

Those crimes include assault, stalking, criminal sexual contact, arson and burglary.

New Jersey jails can also notify ICE if a suspect has been convicted of a felony within the past five years or is under a final deportation order from a federal immigration judge.

"Such notice has been provided regularly in appropriate cases by New Jersey law enforcement agencies since the Immigrant Trust Directive took effect in 2019," Prochilo added.

Which is certainly reassuring.

Just ask the grieving family how reassuring it feels.

Mayor Kuhn's complaint is not particularly complicated. If local police encounter someone who is in the country illegally, lacks a driver's license and may be violating the law, she believes local authorities should be able to communicate with federal immigration authorities.

This revolutionary proposal is known in some parts of America as law enforcement.

In New Jersey, however, it apparently requires a mayor to launch a campaign to convince the state that federal immigration officials should be allowed to know when an illegal immigrant is in police custody.

Perhaps next year they can tackle the really radical stuff, like checking whether someone is legally allowed to drive before handing them the keys.

ICE Bags Visa Overstayer Milo Yiannopoulos, Prepares to Send Him Home

The law finally caught up with Milo Yiannopoulos. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested the 41-year-old British citizen Thursday at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, and the Department of Homeland Security says he will stay in custody until he is removed from the country.

Yiannopoulos entered the United States legally through New York City on May 14, 2019. Then he stayed. 

An immigration judge issued a final order of removal on July 22 after he failed to show up for his hearing. That is not a paperwork mix-up. That is a man who decided the rules did not apply to him.

“On August 27, ICE arrested Milo Yiannopoulos, an illegal alien from the United Kingdom,” DHS said. “He chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws.” DHS added that he will remain in ICE custody pending removal and used the arrest to advertise the administration’s self-deportation program. 

In other words, the government is doing what voters asked it to do: enforce immigration law, even when the offender used to be a conservative media celebrity. 

TMZ first reported that officers grabbed him at the airport ahead of a Kanye West concert Friday night in New Orleans. Yiannopoulos once served as West’s chief of staff and political director. He also did an unpaid summer internship in 2022 for former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. None of that is a visa.

His public unraveling began in 2017, when video surfaced of him arguing that relationships between older men and younger boys could be a positive “coming-of-age” experience. He stated that such relationships could “help those young boys discover who they are and give them security and safety and provide them with love and a reliable sort of rock, where they can’t speak to their parents.”

That same year, footage emerged of Yiannopoulos in 2016 singing at a Dallas bar while people in the crowd threw Nazi salutes. The owner said staff started ejecting the group once the “Neo-Nazi type stuff” started and that the bar did not condone it. He also waved away statutory rape laws, saying people can “get quite hung up on this child abuse thing” and that sexual relationships between 13-year-olds and adults could be “perfectly consensual” and beneficial under certain circumstances. 

Conservatives who once treated him as a free-speech mascot had every reason to show him the door. In recent years, prominent right-wing voices have said Yiannopoulos was not building the coalition. He was picking it apart. They accuse him of working with the Left to slander MAGA figures, including the late Charlie Kirk.

“Milo is not ‘Far-Right.’ Milo was working for the Left to divide, slander and lie about Trump’s coalition to break it apart,” conservative podcaster Benny Johnson said on X. “Days after Charlie Kirk was murdered, he accused Charlie of being gay and cheating on Erika. Evil, sick lie. Zero remorse. Zero evidence. Pure sewage and slander. It happened systematically to nearly everyone of prominence in the America First movement.”

Laura Loomer, who has been waving the immigration-status flag for years, celebrated the arrest and repeated her claim that he arranged a “sham marriage” with a man to stay in the United States.

“When Milo called for me to be assassinated, I reported him to ICE and the FBI,” Loomer said, accusing him of overstaying his visa. “I told you all that Milo was an illegal alien. Milo is going to be deported back to the UK where he can live among the Muslims he has recently chosen to embrace.”

Last year, talking to Tucker Carlson, Yiannopoulos called “mainstreaming homosexuality in the Republican Party” one of his biggest regrets.

“It has given rise to horrors I never imagined,” he told Carlson. “Well, the gay horrors I’ve given birth to — Lady MAGA and Nick Fuentes — they keep me up at night.” 

The conservative movement does not owe a visa overstayer a farewell tour. ICE made an arrest. A judge already ordered him removed. The United Kingdom can have him back. America First starts with American law.

Judge Reminds Democrat Congresswoman She Does Not Have a Congressional Get-Out-of-Jail-Free Card

She looks like a Flip Wilson fan

NEWARK, NJ--A federal appeals court has delivered a devastating blow to Jersey girl Rep. LaMonica McIver’s innovative legal theory that being a member of Congress comes with a complimentary immunity package.

The three-judge panel ruled Wednesday that McIver is not immune from prosecution over her memorable May 2025 encounter at Delaney Hall, an ICE detention facility that left federal immigration officers allegedly getting a little too much congressional “oversight.”

McIver had argued that her arrest interfered with her legislative duties, apparently under the increasingly popular Washington doctrine that congressional oversight means showing up at a federal facility and allegedly getting physical with the people guarding it. Yeah, getting arrested tends to interfere with the arrestee's job.

The court was not impressed.

In a statement, McIver said the court “got it wrong” and that she is “exploring every possible option.”

“To protect the people, their elected representatives must be authorized to conduct oversight of the executive branch without fear of retaliation,” the socialist said.

McIver was indicted on three counts stemming from her May 2025 visit to Delaney Hall with other leftist lawmakers. Prosecutors allege that she physically clashed with law enforcement officials during the confrontation.

The facility had already become something of a pilgrimage site for activists determined to demonstrate that the best way to protest immigration enforcement is to try to interfere with it.

McIver now faces the unfortunate realization that federal law does not contain a special congressional exemption reading, “Members of Congress may do whatever they want, particularly if they are really passionate about it.”

If convicted on all three counts, McIver faced up to 17 years behind bars. Fortunately for her, she will likely receive the traditional Washington welcome package of suspended sentences, probation and enough community service to make everyone feel that justice has been served without anyone having to miss too many congressional votes. 

Consequences for thee, but not for she.

The ruling serves as a useful reminder to lawmakers everywhere: Congressional immunity may protect you from certain things you say on the House floor.

It apparently does not protect you from the consequences of allegedly assaulting federal agents in the parking lot. But we will need to wait and see what the consequences are for her illegal actions.

Illegal alien woman demands citizenship, goes ballistic in Espanol: calls for end of ICE doing their job

In a bold stand for the sacred right to ignore the law for decades while expecting freebies, furious Americans took to social media to blast an illegal alien who has been present in the United States for 37 years after she demanded amnesty in a Spanish rant alongside top Democratic Party leaders.

"I ask that you be champions of a change in the immigration laws," said Margarita Cielo Balbuena, in Spanish, flanked by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and Rep. Rob Menendez (D-NJ), through an interpreter earlier this week. 

"We need a path to citizenship for those of us that have been present for at least seven years in this country," she continued. "We need a stop to these raids that immigration is using to terrorize Dover [New Jersey]." 

Basically, Balbuena wants ICE to stop doing their damn job.

"It is not just that someone like me, who has been in this country since 1989, [and still doesn't speak English] who pays taxes, who is a homeowner, who is a business owner who gives work to others, someone who has children and grandchildren who are born in this country — that I have to suffer the psychological and physical abuse and that I also have to suffer the humiliation that is the violent arrest and detention in a detention center," said Cielo Balbuena.

By violent arrest, Balbuena is referring to being arrested without incident. No wounds, no blood, but somehow it's violent.

The foreign-born woman was detained in ICE's Elizabeth Detention Center for two months, and claimed that she was treated inhumanely, according to the New Jersey Globe. Apparently, being held for repeatedly violating U.S. immigration law after nearly four decades of freeloading off the system counts as "abuse" in the progressive dictionary.

Jeffries faces growing pressure as democratic socialist-backed candidates gain influence in New York, raising new questions about the party's ideological direction. But online opponents of illegal immigration were not sympathetic to Cielo Balbuena's call. 

Shockingly, some people still believe that entering and remaining in a country illegally for 37 years does not entitle you to a participation trophy and a passport. 

Among her most prominent and harshest critics was former U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) commander-at-large Gregory Bovino."You have lived in the United States since 1989. That is 37 years. You still need a translator," he said. "At a Democratic event you stood up and demanded a path to citizenship for anyone who has been here just 7 years," Bovino continued. "Notice the arrogance. Notice the entitlement." 

He went on to claim that Democrats' open borders policies allowed so many foreigners into the country so quickly that "assimilation is no longer required." 

"There can be no amnesty and there can be no exceptions. All illegals must go," the John Birch Society said on X in response to the video. 

"No English. No citizenship," said popular online personality Brigitte Gabriel. "No. Someone who wanted to be a citizen would care enough to learn the language. In any country," said another post that garnered over 1,000 likes.

"Immediate deportation," said actor Matthew Marsden. "A just country that cares about its citizens should defend it. That includes getting rid of people like this."

Rep. Jeffries spoke at the event, and demanded the closure of Delaney Hall, another ICE detention facility in New Jersey that was subject to intense protests and sometimes violent riots for months earlier this year. 

"Delaney Hall needs to be shut down," Jeffries said. "That will remain a high priority for us until it takes place. The behavior that ICE is engaging in is inconsistent with our values and what America should represent." [The values Jeffries refers to is the end to law and order, open borders, and defunding the police.]

The White House fired back in a statement to Fox News Digital, saying: "These types of smears by sanctuary politicians are contributing to our ICE law enforcement officers facing a more than 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats. Our ICE officers are heroes who put their lives on the line to arrest murderers, rapists, pedophiles, gang members, and terrorists from American communities. Democrats must stop demonizing our officers for simply enforcing our nation’s laws," White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis said. 

At press time, Democrats were still searching for a way to explain how demanding citizenship after 37 years of lawbreaking while needing a translator somehow advances the cause of justice, fairness, and not turning America into a free-for-all.

Guess who's the suspect for the murder in Portland ICE facility shooting

Believe it or not, the suspect arrested in connection with the fatal shooting outside of the Portland U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility earlier this week is a Somali immigrant, according to online records.

Mahmoud Said Ali, a 42-year-old Muslim, was taken into custody on Saturday morning and booked into the Multnomah County Jail. The charges are second-degree murder, a felony, and unlawful use of a weapon, according to jail records.Portland Police said in a press release that detectives learned of Ali's presence in the 13100 block of Northeast Glisan Street on Friday evening. 

Investigators requested assistance from the bureau's Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) and the crisis negotiation team. Ali was arrested at about 3:30 am on Saturday, police said.Authorities identified the victim as 42-year-old Anwar A. Osman, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene. The pair reportedly knew each other, according to police, but they weren't very good friends at the time of the shooting.

The killing occurred on Tuesday at approximately 4:10 am. PPB said in a press release: "A sergeant assigned to the Portland Police Bureau's Central Precinct was on routine patrol in the South Waterfront when he spotted a vehicle that had crashed into a building in the 4000 block of South Macadam Avenue. 

Simultaneously, community members were calling 911 to report shots fired in the area."

"The sergeant and responding officers approached the vehicle and found the adult male driver unconscious and suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers pulled the individual out of the vehicle and performed lifesaving measures. Unfortunately, the adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene," said PPB.

Authorities said the shooting appears to have occurred at the traffic light at South Bancroft Street and South Macadam Avenue, which is located near the front of the ICE facility at the top of a hill. The victim's vehicle rolled down the hill and crashed into a building. Ali fled the scene, according to police.Ali lists his hometown Mogadishu, Somalia, on his Facebook account. Police said Portland is his primary residence.

Illegal alien who murdered restaurant owner gets to spend serious time in the Iron Bar Hotel

An illegal alien will spend 20 years in prison after admitting to murdering a beloved Nashville restaurant owner in what open borders enthusiasts are calling a beautiful tapestry of cultural enrichment gone slightly awry.

Ulises Martinez, a 26 year old illegal alien from Mexico, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to second degree murder after he slammed his truck into 42 year old Matt Carney during an attempted robbery two years ago. The case drew national attention as President Donald Trump pointed to it as an example of a migrant crime wave during his 2024 presidential campaign, somehow managing to notice the pattern while the rest of the media was busy blaming climate change.

The incident took place on June 19, 2024, outside of Smokin Thighs, a popular Nashville chicken restaurant owned and operated by Carney that began as a food truck.

Carney was locking up his restaurant when he walked outside to find two men stealing tools from his truck. After Carney confronted them, the men, both illegal immigrants, rammed into him with their truck, throwing him onto the sidewalk, before taking off in a spontaneous celebration of diversity. Olivia Lehing, who witnessed the scene, said she was driving when she saw a truck send a body “into the air” and then drive “very fast” away from the scene.

Carney died from injuries sustained during the incident several weeks later. Martinez was on the run for several weeks before he was arrested on July 18, hiding out in a Nashville motel while no doubt planning his next contribution to the local economy.

Smokin Thighs closed down in October 2024 after almost ten years in business. “Places like this do not just exist everywhere and in every neighborhood,” former Smokin Thighs manager Landon Allen told The Tennessean. “When he was taken from us, it all died with him.”

In addition to the murder charge, Martinez pleaded guilty to evidence tampering and two counts of theft. Martinez, who required an interpreter throughout the proceedings, is expected to be deported after serving the 20 year sentence assuming the country still has borders by then.

Carney’s widow reportedly supported the plea deal in a display of the kind of grace rarely extended to law abiding Americans.

Martinez’s immigration status was first reported by conservative media outlet, The Daily Wire, with ICE saying that he unlawfully entered the country at an unknown date and location.

The other scumcrumpet in the vehicle with Martinez, was 31 year old Adrian Diaz-Aguirre. He had previous criminal convictions and has been deported four times, proving once again that the third time is not always the charm.

Just months before Carney’s murder, a Nashville judge let Martinez go free after he was accused of stealing a white van, a red truck, and tools from a white truck, proving that even judges with all that schooling, can be a dumb as a rock.

Nashville Judge Jim Todd dismissed all three charges during a preliminary hearing in March 2024, claiming police had failed to show probable cause in what progressive legal scholars are calling a courageous defense of the right to steal vehicles without interruption. Great move, judge.

Trump discussed the incident during an August campaign rally in Montana. “Look at what’s happening to our cities. Our cities are being overrun,” Trump said. “On July 4th, a 42-year-old Nashville man died after he tried to stop an illegal alien from stealing tools out of his truck. The illegal alien did a number on this man that nobody could even believe. The police officers said [it was] one of the most vicious crimes they’ve ever seen.”

Anti ICE Protester Brings "Peaceful" Fire, Axes, Machete, And Manifesto To Federal Building

The modern activist has become remarkably efficient. Why settle for chanting slogans when you can arrive with fireworks, gasoline, axes, a machete, multiple knives, pellet guns, and a manifesto? Somewhere along the way, "mostly peaceful protest" apparently became an Olympic event.

The suspect accused of setting off an incendiary device outside New York City's federal immigration office has been identified by multiple news outlets as 43 year old military veteran Andrew Arrabaca. Witnesses reportedly saw him pushing a cart bearing the familiar activist slogan, "ICE off our streets." Apparently he interpreted that message less as a policy preference and more as an item on his daily to do list. In any case, he and his cart blended right in with the city's homeless so nobody paid much attention to him at first.

Authorities say Arrabaca poured what is believed to be gasoline outside 26 Federal Plaza, stacked fireworks on top of it, and lit the whole thing. The resulting incendiary device sparked a fire outside the building.

"At approximately 8:20 AM, an anti ICE rioter launched fireworks outside of 26 Federal Plaza, grazing a bystander and poured what is believed to be gasoline on the stairs of the entrance of the building and set it on fire," the Department of Homeland Security said Monday.

"Officers quickly recovered the suspect's bag, which contained what appeared to be two pellet guns and a manifesto," the agency added.

Nothing says "my argument is well reasoned" quite like carrying a manifesto. History has been unkind to people who decide to publish their political philosophy one explosive device at a time.

According to authorities, the suspect was also carrying two axes, a hammer, a machete, and multiple knives. At this point the only thing missing was a partridge in a pear tree.

"When he was being arrested, he yelled derogatory terms to ICE, used bad words, obviously. He is an anti American, anti government extremist. We know that from what he said, we know that from what he has said post arrest, and we know that from his actions that he tried to take today," FBI New York Assistant Director in Charge James Barnacle Jr. said.

The New York Post reported that Arrabaca is a former U.S. Army and National Guardsman from Poughkeepsie, NY, home of the CIA [Culinary Institute of America]. 

Two federal employees and one civilian suffered minor injuries during the attack and were treated and released, according to Barnacle.

A Federal Protective Service officer "swiftly tackled and detained" the suspect while sustaining minor injuries, according to DHS.

The Jacob K. Javits Federal Office Building houses ICE's New York field office and an immigration court. During the Trump administration it has become a frequent destination for anti ICE demonstrations. Most protesters, of course, limit themselves to signs and slogans. This suspect apparently felt that wasn't dramatic enough.

The FBI's New York Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating the incident. Which seems appropriate, because when your political statement involves gasoline, fireworks, edged weapons, and a manifesto, you've wandered a very long way from civic engagement.

Violence Against Institutions Is Still Violence

There is a revealing tendency in modern politics to excuse intimidation when it is directed at the "right" targets. The latest incident outside New York City's ICE office is another reminder that political extremism rarely begins with grand acts of terror. It begins with the steady normalization of threats, harassment, and the belief that ideological opponents deserve fear rather than debate.

On Monday morning, a man believed by law enforcement sources to be an anti ICE activist allegedly deployed an incendiary device outside 26 Federal Plaza in lower Manhattan while armed with two airsoft rifles, triggering a federal terrorism investigation.

At least two people were injured after the suspect allegedly "menaced" bystanders with the airsoft rifles, according to MS NOW. Five law enforcement sources told the outlet the suspect appeared to be an anti ICE radical.

Video from the scene showed smoke billowing near the entrance of the federal building as ICE agents, FBI personnel, and other officers rushed outside with weapons drawn. Federal Protective Service officers quickly took the suspect into custody. Authorities shut down the surrounding sidewalk and evacuated the building while investigators secured the area.

According to the FBI, the incident unfolded at approximately 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time.

"This morning an individual deployed an incendiary device outside of 26 Federal Plaza. The individual has been taken into custody and the FBI New York Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating the incident," the FBI said.

FBI Director Kash Patel later confirmed that there were "two minor injuries reported thus far."

Law enforcement sources told MS NOW that the incendiary device consisted of fireworks placed inside a shopping cart, soaked with an accelerant, and then set ablaze.

The New York Police Department also confirmed that a firearm was recovered in connection with the incident, although investigators have not yet established whether it belonged to the suspect or whether it was separate from the reported airsoft rifles.

The choice of location was hardly accidental. Twenty six Federal Plaza houses the New York City Field Office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement as well as a federal immigration court. It serves as the operational center for ICE enforcement activities across New York City's five boroughs and numerous surrounding counties.

The attack arrives against the backdrop of increasingly hostile rhetoric surrounding immigration enforcement. The Department of Homeland Security has previously warned of a dramatic rise in attacks targeting ICE officers, reporting a 3,300 percent increase in vehicle assaults during a recent period compared with the previous year.

Whether this case ultimately results in terrorism charges remains for investigators to determine. What is already beyond dispute is that attempts to intimidate public servants through violence represent an assault on the rule of law itself. A society that tolerates politically motivated intimidation because it is directed at unfashionable institutions soon discovers that violence rarely confines itself to one target. Once ideological fanaticism is excused, it has an unfortunate habit of expanding its ambitions.

Canadian Illegal Alien Allegedly Slaps MAGA Teen, Suddenly Discovers Immigration Laws Still Exist

For years Americans were assured that immigration laws were more of a "suggestion" than an actual legal concept. Then, in an unexpected plot twist, a Canadian woman allegedly assaulted a teenager wearing Trump gear and discovered that visa expiration dates are, in fact, real.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, 33 year old Canadian national Kaitlyn Tracey is in the United States illegally after overstaying a visa that expired in September 2024. DHS says the redheaded visitor allegedly slapped a teenage girl on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk during Fourth of July weekend, proving once again that nothing says "tolerance" quite like allegedly hitting a kid over her political clothing.

Authorities say Tracey filmed herself confronting a group of four girls on July 3 because two of the minors had the audacity to wear patriotic sweatpants featuring the words “Trump” and “ICE.” After the confrontation escalated, Tracey allegedly struck one of the girls across the face and body.

Police tracked her down using security footage and charged her with endangering the welfare of a child, assault, harassment, and obstruction. ICE later took her into custody and transferred her to the Delaney Hall detention center in Newark.

“She entered the United States on April 14, 2024, on a visa set to expire on September 6, 2024. In violation of our nation’s laws, she overstayed her visa and failed to depart,” DHS said in a statement.

Naturally, the media's favorite immigration standard immediately kicked in. When an illegal immigrant commits an alleged assault, the real victim is apparently the illegal immigrant.

Tracey's husband, Matthew Geroni, who proudly brands himself the “Clown of Asbury Park,” rushed to TikTok to rally his 140,000 followers after a GoFundMe campaign for her legal expenses was removed following reports from conservative users.

“This whole situation has been blown out of proportion, and a person like Kate does not belong in any facility,” Geroni, who acknowledged he was not present during the incident, told NJ.com.

That is certainly one way to describe allegedly assaulting a minor while living in the country unlawfully.

“My wife has never been in trouble in her entire life. She’s never had any kind of situation like this. This one little situation that was really a nothingburger when it happened has been blown so out of control by conservatives online that it has caused my wife to be put in a detention center,” Geroni added.

Apparently, conservatives have now achieved the remarkable feat of forcing someone to overstay a visa, allegedly hit a teenager, get arrested, and then blame everyone else.

Imagine the headlines if a Trump supporter who was in the country illegally allegedly slapped a teenager wearing a Harris shirt. Cable news panels would still be holding emergency roundtables, psychologists would be explaining the dangers of MAGA extremism, and Congress would probably schedule hearings before lunch.

Instead, Americans are told this is merely a "nothingburger," because when the alleged victim is a conservative teenager, standards suddenly become as flexible as the border itself.

Tracey is scheduled to return to court on August 4, where everyone will learn whether "nothingburger" has become an officially recognized legal defense.

Trump Slams the Brakes on Weak-Kneed Bureaucrats: Orders ICE to Get Back to Work Nabbing Criminals

President Trump wasted no time telling the Department of Homeland Security to cut the nonsense. One day after DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin hit the brakes on ICE vehicle stops, Trump ordered the agency to reverse course and resume one of its most effective tools for catching illegal aliens and criminals.

In a blunt social media post, Trump made his position crystal clear. "We CANNOT give up one of ICE's most important and effective Crime fighting tools, THE TRAFFIC STOP!" He added that pausing the tactic would only play right into the criminals' hands.

The Radical Left Dumocrats (sic) would love nothing more than to see ICE tied down, he noted, but that surrender would not happen on his watch.

Trump told the agents directly to be judicious, fair, and smart, then get right back to doing their important job. The White House confirmed the pause was dead. Nationwide instructions telling agents to stop most vehicle stops, except for the worst violent offenders, were scrapped.

The original plan had been to keep the pause going indefinitely until new training was rolled out. That idea lasted about 24 hours once Trump weighed in.The pause came after two fatal shootings during stops in Maine and Texas. Some inside ICE called the change "horrible but needed."

Trump saw it differently. He praised the men and women of ICE for doing a great job under tough conditions and pointed out that crime is way down across America, with numbers not seen in decades. He reminded everyone that Sleepy Joe Biden opened the border and let in roughly 25 million people, many unchecked and unvetted, including plenty of criminals. Getting them out requires strength, toughness, and smarts, Trump said, not timid pauses cooked up by nervous bureaucrats.

To the agents on the ground he sent a clear message: Keep those crime statistics coming. Remember, you are loved and respected in America. While sanctuary city politicians and their media allies try to make every enforcement action look like a crisis, Trump continues to back the officers who actually have to clean up the mess. Traffic stops remain on the table. The adults are back in charge.

Democrats Find Perfect Anti-ICE Spokesman by Apparently Asking, "Who Has the Longest Rap Sheet?"

Democrats eager to denounce ICE may have accidentally wandered into yet another casting disaster.

Houston immigration attorney Hugo Balderas-Ibarra, who rushed to defend two illegal immigrants involved in last week's fatal ICE shooting, has now found himself starring in a story with considerably more courtroom drama than the one he held a press conference to promote.

Balderas-Ibarra represents two of the three passengers who were riding with Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, who was shot after ICE says he attempted to ram an agent with his vehicle during a traffic stop. At a fiery press conference, the attorney accused ICE of lying, demanded the immediate release of his clients, and declared that they "will forever be physically and emotionally scarred by this killing," adding, "None of these families will ever be whole again."

Those remarks landed a little differently after court documents surfaced showing Balderas-Ibarra is currently out on a $20,000 bond for felony assault involving family violence by impeding breathing.

According to court records, the alleged victim was preparing to leave for a flight after discovering something on Balderas-Ibarra's phone. She packed her belongings, which he allegedly confiscated before eventually agreeing to bring them to the airport.

That airport reunion reportedly went about as smoothly as a TSA line on Thanksgiving.

Court documents allege Balderas-Ibarra threw her luggage onto the ground and, when she bent over to retrieve it, "grabbed her by her neck with his left hand." The records further state that as other people approached, he "squeezed harder and twisted her throat."

The alleged victim told investigators she could not breathe, became dizzy, and later suffered nausea, headaches, and swelling to her neck. Authorities documented visible injuries, leading to the felony strangulation charge.

As if that résumé wasn't already impressive enough for modern political activism, records also show Balderas-Ibarra was already free on bond in Florida for separate domestic violence, kidnapping, and false imprisonment charges when the alleged Texas assault occurred.

Naturally, none of this prevented him from appearing alongside Democratic Rep. Al Green, Rep. Sylvia Garcia, and Harris County District Attorney Sean Teare to lecture America about justice.

At the press conference, Balderas-Ibarra insisted ICE's version of events had "varied" and claimed his clients had a completely different account.

"All three of my clients reiterated that at no point was there ever an agent standing in front of the vehicle, nor was an agent ever placed in the line of danger. That is simply false. And I believe my clients are telling the truth," said Balderas-Ibarra.

He also demanded ICE release his clients before they could be deported, arguing it was necessary to preserve the "integrity" of the investigation.

Then came the inevitable applause line.

"I am calling for drastic changes to the way ICE conducts their immigration enforcement," he said, adding, "This is not immigration enforcement. This is racial profiling."

Everything is racism, isn't it, for the left?

Democrats have spent years assuring Americans they stand with victims. They just keep having an uncanny knack for putting people with criminal charges at the microphone while insisting everyone else is the real problem.

At this point, opposition research has become so optional that campaign staff may simply be scrolling arrest records looking for the next civil rights icon.

Man shot Monday involving ICE in Maine

In Biddeford, Maine, a person was killed on Monday in a shooting that involved agents of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The circumstances remain unclear while state authorities conduct their inquiries.

Ryan Fecteau, Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives and a native of the city, posted the following on Facebook: "This morning a shooting occurred in Biddeford. A person was killed. ICE was involved. State Police and the Department of Public Safety are now on scene to gather details and would expect the FBI to investigate as well."

Officials at Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Department of Homeland Security could not be reached for immediate comment.

Biddeford police referred all inquiries to ICE, and the mayor did not respond promptly to requests for a statement. The city, with a population of more than twenty-one thousand, lies fifteen miles south of Portland.

This incident follows six days after another fatal shooting by an ICE agent, this one in Houston, Texas. There, during a traffic stop, an agent shot and killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a Mexican national who had lived illegally in the United States for more than three decades.

Protests broke out in the city's heavily Hispanic East End, where mounted police officers followed demonstrators marching under the banner "Justice for Lorenzo."

ICE stated that Salgado rammed a law enforcement vehicle with his van and attempted to run over an officer, who fired in self-defense. The agency has not yet produced evidence to support this account but this seems to be a rather common occurrence.

Three men who witnessed the shooting have challenged the official version of events, according to a lawyer representing two of them. Salgado, a father of three who worked in construction and was reportedly in the process of obtaining a work permit, has been described by relatives as the victim of an unjust killing.

These shootings occur during President Donald Trump's renewed federal effort to enforce immigration law across the country. That effort has met objections from local Democratic leaders who see illegal aliens as future Democrat voters, and the incident has prompted protests in several cities.

Enforcement of borders that have been ignored for years inevitably produces friction, and agents who confront individuals long accustomed to operating outside the law face real and immediate risks.
