The Spanish invasion from Morocco continues as death toll climbs to 67

Look at all the women and children [Adri Salido image]

Europe's borders are not mere lines on a map; they are the front line of civilization.

The latest death toll in Spain's border crisis at Ceuta has climbed to 67, according to the Spanish government. Some victims drowned attempting the crossing, while others were killed in the desperate crush of a human stampede at the breakwater barrier. It is a grim reminder that when governments surrender control of their borders, tragedy inevitably follows.

In response to the unprecedented breach, Spain announced it will install a 500 meter containment barrier extending into the sea after an estimated 50,000 to 60,000 migrants overwhelmed the tiny Spanish enclave's frontier between Thursday and Friday. That's like closing the barn door after the horses escaped.

On Saturday morning, a handful of exhausted migrants who swam to Ceuta's Tarajal Beach were met by Spanish soldiers and escorted back across the border. Spain's Interior Ministry said that most of those who entered the North African territory have already been returned to Morocco.

After days of disorder, Ceuta's streets have grown quieter. But calm is not the same as security.

"Life in this city has been disrupted as a result of the border incident," said Ceuta President Juan Jesus Vivas.

"The return of people has begun satisfactorily but the process must be completed," he said. "The city has not yet returned to normal."

That final sentence deserves far more attention than it will receive. A nation can restore traffic, reopen shops, and clear its streets, yet still suffer lasting damage to public confidence. Citizens who watch tens of thousands of people overwhelm a border in a matter of hours cannot easily be persuaded that their government remains fully in control.

Across the border in Tangier, Morocco, migrants who had either returned from Ceuta or failed to reach Europe slept on the floor of the city's main railway station. Many had gone days without food. Others remained determined to try again.

Boo freaking hoo.

"I tried to cross, but I failed. I stayed near the border with Ceuta for two days, but I couldn't find anything to eat," said Abdalah, an aspiring jihadi, who withheld his surname for fear of retaliation after attempting to enter Spain illegally.

Meanwhile, along the road to the Moroccan town of Fnideq, streams of migrants continued walking toward the border fence, some barefoot, apparently preparing for another attempt. Taxi drivers and bus operators refused to transport them, fearing retaliation from Moroccan authorities, while police established checkpoints to inspect every vehicle headed toward the frontier.

Yet many Islamic invaders who succeeded in reaching Ceuta made clear they had no intention of leaving voluntarily.

"They've closed everything down so that we can't buy anything to eat, to force us to return to our country," said 23 year old Moroccan illegal alien jihadi Mohamed Hatri.

"But even if they close it down ... we're round to stay here, whether we're hungry or not."

That declaration captures the central dilemma confronting Europe.

Compassion alone cannot substitute for sovereignty. Every nation has a moral obligation to preserve life, but it also has a fundamental duty to determine who enters its territory and under what conditions. A border that exists only on paper soon ceases to exist at all.

The events in Ceuta should also serve as a warning to every Western democracy.

Spain's crisis is not uniquely Spanish. It is a glimpse of what any nation can face if it convinces the world that its borders are negotiable rather than enforceable. Once the expectation spreads that illegal entry will ultimately be rewarded, the incentives become overwhelming, the humanitarian costs multiply, and public trust begins to erode.

Other Western nations would do well to learn this lesson before finding themselves confronting the same crisis on their own shores.

Man shot Monday involving ICE in Maine

In Biddeford, Maine, a person was killed on Monday in a shooting that involved agents of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The circumstances remain unclear while state authorities conduct their inquiries.

Ryan Fecteau, Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives and a native of the city, posted the following on Facebook: "This morning a shooting occurred in Biddeford. A person was killed. ICE was involved. State Police and the Department of Public Safety are now on scene to gather details and would expect the FBI to investigate as well."

Officials at Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Department of Homeland Security could not be reached for immediate comment.

Biddeford police referred all inquiries to ICE, and the mayor did not respond promptly to requests for a statement. The city, with a population of more than twenty-one thousand, lies fifteen miles south of Portland.

This incident follows six days after another fatal shooting by an ICE agent, this one in Houston, Texas. There, during a traffic stop, an agent shot and killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a Mexican national who had lived illegally in the United States for more than three decades.

Protests broke out in the city's heavily Hispanic East End, where mounted police officers followed demonstrators marching under the banner "Justice for Lorenzo."

ICE stated that Salgado rammed a law enforcement vehicle with his van and attempted to run over an officer, who fired in self-defense. The agency has not yet produced evidence to support this account but this seems to be a rather common occurrence.

Three men who witnessed the shooting have challenged the official version of events, according to a lawyer representing two of them. Salgado, a father of three who worked in construction and was reportedly in the process of obtaining a work permit, has been described by relatives as the victim of an unjust killing.

These shootings occur during President Donald Trump's renewed federal effort to enforce immigration law across the country. That effort has met objections from local Democratic leaders who see illegal aliens as future Democrat voters, and the incident has prompted protests in several cities.

Enforcement of borders that have been ignored for years inevitably produces friction, and agents who confront individuals long accustomed to operating outside the law face real and immediate risks.

Another illegal alien truck driver allegedly kills Indiana man: taken into custody

Another day, another preventable tragedy on America's roads courtesy of the open-border disaster that's been raging since the Biden-Harris era kicked off, and yes, folks, this one hits close to home in the heartland yet again.

A truck driver was arrested Wednesday after allegedly blowing through a red light and causing a fatal crash in Hendricks County, Indiana, just west of Indianapolis. And surprise, surprise: multiple federal law enforcement sources confirmed that the suspect is an illegal alien from Punjab, India.

Meet Singh Sukhdeep [pronounced 'Suck-Deep'], yet another Sikh who came here illegally and was given the gift of a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) in spite of not knowing much English.

He first got nabbed crossing the U.S. border illegally back in 2018 . . .  as a minor. Thanks to the infamous 1997 Flores consent decree (you know, the Clinton-era gift that keeps on giving), he was promptly released into the interior instead of being detained. Fast-forward to May 2025, and SIngh somehow scores a commercial driver's license. Now he's accused of killing an innocent American.

The crash is straight out of a nightmare. Eyewitnesses told WXIN (that's Fox affiliate KXIN) that Sukhdeep's Freightliner semi-truck, hauling a trailer, barreled through the red light, smashed into a Chevrolet pickup truck, sent it flying across the median, and then it collided with yet another vehicle. The driver of that Chevy pickup, 64-year-old Terry Schultz, was pronounced dead at the scene. A witness at the scene gave him comfort before he passed.

Sukhdeep is now in ICE custody, where he probably should have been years ago. DHS spoke to Fox News: "This tragedy comes less than two weeks after another illegal alien driving a semi-truck killed four innocent people in Indiana. It is incredibly dangerous for illegal aliens, who often don’t know our traffic laws or even English, to be operating semi-trucks on America's roads. These tragedies are 100% preventable and we pray for the family and victim."

So red lights don't mean stop in India? I don't think so--I was there last week and while the driving is on the verge of lunacy, a red light still means 'stop'.

DHS went on to explain the Flores mess: It stemmed from the 1993 Supreme Court case Reno v. Flores, where civil liberties and immigrant rights groups filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of illegal alien children detained in Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) custody. (INS later became USCIS, for those keeping score.)

The decree basically mandated that kids who crossed illegally had to be released to a parent or adult relative rather than held. The Trump administration tried to kill this outdated policy in 2019, the year after Sukhdeep crashed the scene, but here we are.

And let's not pretend this is isolated. This horror show unfolded just two weeks after another illegal alien truck driver, Bekzhan Beishekeev from Kazakhstan, allegedly killed four people in yet another Indiana crash. That guy entered via the Biden-era CBP One app in 2023, got released, and later picked up a CDL in Pennsylvania.

Then there's last August's case: Indian illegal alien Harjinder Singh, who got his CDL in California, allegedly made an illegal U-turn, jackknifed his rig, and killed three people. He got slapped with three counts of vehicular homicide. The DOT later revealed the guy bombed an English Language Proficiency test, nailing just 2 of 12 verbal questions and identifying only one out of four highway signs correctly.

So who's passing these guys and why isn't that person being investigated?

These aren't one-offs. They're patterns. They're policy failures with body counts. And every time another family buries a loved one because someone who shouldn't even be here is behind the wheel of an 80,000-pound death machine, the same tired excuses get trotted out.

Enough is enough. Secure the border, enforce the laws, and stop letting these preventable nightmares keep happening on American soil. Pray for Terry Schultz's family, and for the day when common-sense immigration enforcement actually becomes the norm again.

Illegal Immigrant Tour Bus Driver With New York License Accused Of Causing Fatal Wreck

Another Deadly Crash Courtesy of Biden's Border Disaster and Sanctuary State ShenanigansFolks, here we go again. Yet another illegal alien handed a commercial driver's license in a blue sanctuary state ends up behind the wheel of a massive vehicle, and an innocent American pays the ultimate price. This time, it's a Chinese illegal immigrant who somehow scored a New York CDL and allegedly plowed his tour bus into traffic in Tennessee, killing a 31-year-old trucker while glued to a video on his phone.

Chinese illegal immigrant Yisong Huang, 54, allegedly killed a 31-year-old truck driver and injured several others in Tennessee on December 9 while he was distracted by a video on his phone, according to the New York Post. And yes, this is just the latest in a disturbing wave of fatal wrecks involving illegals piloting big rigs and buses.

"Far too many innocent Americans have been killed by illegal aliens driving semi-trucks and big rigs. And yet, sanctuary states around the country have been issuing illegal aliens commercial driver’s licenses. The Trump Administration is ending the chaos," Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement regarding the latest crash.

"The brave men and women of ICE are working nonstop to get criminal illegal aliens out of our communities and off our roads."

Turns out, after the smash-up, Huang bombed a basic English proficiency test, the kind that's federally required for a CDL. Huang slithered across the border illegally back in 2023 amid that massive wave of Chinese migrants pouring through Mexico. Border Patrol caught and released him anyway, and the Biden crew hooked him up with a work permit and Social Security card. Fast-forward, and New York's DMV hands him a license on April 11, 2025, after he flashes those federal docs. The state insists it was all above board, but the chances of that being true are equal to the chance of getting hit by a boat in Times Square.

With these crashes piling up, the Trump team is finally cracking down hard on states doling out CDLs to illegals, plus tightening testing rules, like actually enforcing that English-only mandate. A federal audit just exposed that over half of New York's CDLs were issued illegally, per the DOT, so now they're threatening to pull about $73 million in funding from New York unless they clean house.

Experts have laid the blame squarely on the Biden years, and his autopen, when work permits were dished out like joints at a Hunter Biden pool party,  paired with sloppy CDL testing oversight. Don't forget the third-party testing sites that rubber-stamp these things."There's no good checks and balances, to be perfectly honest with you," Lewie Pugh, Executive Vice President of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, had previously told conservative outlet, The Daily Wire

"A lot of states allow third party testing to do the CDLs and I would say that’s how most of these people get through," Pugh said.

Thank God the adults are back in charge. This madness ends now.

Pritzker’s Latest: Handing Out College Cash to Illegals While Illinois Drowns in Debt

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, the corpulent Democrat billionaire with 2028 White House whispers, just inked a bill that has conservatives spitting coffee. The new law throws open the doors of state-funded financial aid to all residents, yes, including illegal immigrants. If you're in Illinois and dreaming of college, Pritzker's got your back, legal status be damned.

Cue the outrage. Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL), didn't mince words, calling it a "slap in the face" to hardworking Illinois families. "Our state is drowning in debt, yet JB Pritzker is determined to drain even more taxpayer dollars to reward illegals," she told Fox News Digital. "It's absolutely shameful." Miller isn't wrong; Illinois' budget is already a train-wreck, and this move isn't exactly screaming fiscal responsibility.

The bill's defenders, like state Sen. Celina Villanueva, are popping champagne. "This law is about making sure no student is left behind because of where they were born," Villanueva said, framing it as a win for "equity." Her office bragged that the measure scraps a "patchwork of confusing and sometimes conflicting requirements" that kept undocumented, DACAmented, and mixed-status students from getting aid.

Translation: if you're in Illinois, you are now eligible for state or local financial aid, whether you're a citizen, a DACA recipient, or, say, a transgender student who didn't register for selective service. The bill has a little something for everyone, except, perhaps, the taxpayers footing the bill.

Villanueva's all-in on the feel-good vibes: "If you live in Illinois and are pursuing higher education, you should have access to the same opportunities as your peers."

Sounds nice, but the Illinois GOP isn't buying it. A spokesperson told the outlet that Pritzker's "prioritizing illegal immigrants at the expense of Illinois families." They added, "Illinois taxpayers should not have their hard-earned dollars pay for benefits to illegal immigrants who shouldn't be here in the first place."

Meanwhile, state Sen. Andrew Chesney (R) took to Fox's Fox & Friends First to pile on, blaming Pritzker's policies for everything from budget woes to a recent deadly collision. He's calling for a serious overhaul of state laws, and you can bet this financial aid stunt isn’t helping Pritzker's case.

So, there you have it: Illinois, already strapped for cash, is now playing Santa Claus with college funds for illegal immigrants. Pritzker is betting this will cement his progressive cred, but with folks like Miller and the Illinois GOP crying foul, it's looking more like a political hot potato. As Miller put it, "It’s absolutely shameful." Wonder how many taxpayers agree.

Hochul’s Pardon Party: 13 Ex-Con Migrants, Including a Manslaughter Convict, Get a Pass

New York's Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul just dropped a bombshell, handing out pardons to 13 migrants with criminal rap sheets, one of whom, Somchith Vatthanavong, was convicted of manslaughter back in 1990. The New York Times broke the story, and it's disturbing.

Vatthanavong, a 52-year-old scumcrumpet from Laos, who entered the U.S. illegally post-Vietnam War, admitted to the former newspaper that he fired the fatal shot in a pool hall brawl, claiming self-defense.

Hochul's response? "They've paid their debt, and I'll be damned if I let them be deported to a country where they don't know a soul.” Poor dears.

She didn't stop there, with her virtue-signaling rhetoric, she took a swipe at critics: "And to those who would demonize them to score political points, I ask: Where is your compassion?"

Let's unpack this.

In New York, a pardon doesn't wipe the slate clean, it just shields folks from consequences like deportation. Vatthanavong, for instance, dodged a federal immigration judge's deportation order because Laos won't take him back because they don't want any problems.

Convenient, right? Hochul's crew includes lawful permanent residents from Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, and South Africa, but it's murky how many, besides Vatthanavong, were unauthorized entrants.

Hochul kept this quiet until the Times, often used as birdcage liner, blew the lid off on Friday. Only then did she issue a statement: "After careful deliberation, I'm granting clemency to thirteen individuals who have demonstrated remorse for their actions and exemplify a commitment to bettering their communities." Noble words, but the timing raises eyebrows, why the secrecy?

The governor's office is being secretive on whether more pardons are coming, though they have 84 pardon applications and 186 commutation requests on their desk this year. So, is this a one-off or the start of a trend? Hochul is playing it close to the vest, but one thing is clear: she's rolling the dice on a move that's sure to spark a firestorm. Where's the compassion, she asks? Plenty of New Yorkers might be asking her the same thing.

Kentucky Licensing Scandal: Whistleblower Exposes Shady ID Deals to Illegals

Kentucky law slams the door on driver's licenses for non-residents without legit papers, but some were sneaking through—until one clerk blew the lid off.
Melissa Moorman, a former Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) clerk, is suing her ex-employers, claiming they gave her the boot for spilling the beans on a dirty scheme. Court documents snagged by Fox News Digital reveal Moorman caught wind in 2024 of two co-workers in the Department of Vehicle Regulation peddling driver's licenses to "nonresidents" like candy, no immigration checks, no tests, just cold, hard cash.
Her lawyers say she got wise when they tried to rope her into the hustle.
"The employees were being paid under the table," Moorman told WDRB News on Monday, her voice steady but sharp. "I immediately let my supervisor know about it."
Moorman dropped a bombshell to WDRB: these co-workers were raking in $200 a pop, four to five times a day, for over two years. Every case she saw? Illegal immigrants. No exceptions.
After she sounded the alarm, the crooked clerks got canned, and the feds swooped in to probe KYTC. Moorman met with investigators in January, learning her own credentials and login were being used without her knowledge. She says her supervisor told her to hand over her information to the newbies while they waited for their own access, a setup that smells like a cover-up.
KYTC fired Moorman the same day she spoke to the feds, but her supervisor, who her lawyers accuse of "mismanagement, fraud, abuse of authority, and violations of law," is still employed at his job.
"I was angry, hurt, and depressed," Moorman told WDRB News, her frustration raw. "I did the right thing. I told the truth. I should not have been fired."
Moorman slapped KYTC with a lawsuit in April, leaning on the Kentucky Whistleblower Act to shield her for exposing the rot. She's demanding her job back, benefits restored, and back pay to make it right. If you ask me, I'd say she should get a back-dated promotion.
"It is tragic that the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet chose to terminate the person that uncovered the fact that hundreds, perhaps thousands of undocumented people were provided Kentucky driver's licenses that they were not qualified to receive," her attorney Garry Adams told Fox News Digital. "The scheme that Melissa Moorman uncovered was putting all Kentuckians that operate or ride in motor vehicles in danger, and she should have been rewarded for her disclosure rather than terminated for it."
Adams didn’t hold back: "This type of behavior where local, state, and even federal governments seem to favor sweeping big problems under the rug, rather than disclosing it, addressing it, and fixing it has got to stop."
Kentucky law is crystal clear: non-U.S. citizens need proof of residency and valid immigration docs for a license. Faking those papers is a one-way ticket to prosecution. Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman didn't mince words, calling the reports "troubling and unacceptable conduct." He added that his office has been "aggressively investigating this potential fraud for some time now" alongside federal law enforcement.
Fox News Digital had reached out to KYTC for comment, but the silence is deafening.

Kristi Noem Slams Sanctuary City Policies After Illegal Migrant Shoots CBP Officer in NYC Ambu

In a fiery press briefing, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem didn’t hold back, pinning the blame squarely on New York City’s sanctuary policies for a brazen attack on an off-duty Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer in Riverside Park. The officer was shot in the face and forearm during an attempted robbery over the weekend, and Noem is calling out the lunacy of letting criminals roam free under the guise of “progressive” governance.

"There's absolutely zero reason that someone who is scum of the earth like this should be running loose on the streets of New York City," Noem declared, referring to Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, a Dominican national nabbed by Border Patrol in April 2023. This thug, arrested four times in NYC, was repeatedly released thanks to Mayor Eric Adams’ sanctuary city nonsense. "He was arrested four different times in New York City, and because of the mayor’s policies and sanctuary city policies, was released back to do harm to people and to individuals living in this city," Noem said, her frustration palpable.

The second suspect, Christhian Aybar-Berroa, another illegal alien from the Dominican Republic who slipped into the U.S. in 2022 under Biden's watch, was also collared. Noem didn’t mince words: "He was arrested for reckless endangerment and larceny and was released before ICE could get him off the streets." She took to X to hammer the point home, noting that detainers were "ignored" because of Adams' policies. This guy had a final removal order from 2023, yet here he is, allegedly shooting up NYC. Unreal.

The CBP officer, ambushed while sitting by the water with a friend, showed incredible grit. According to Homeland Security, "A witness of the attack, believed to be an attempted robbery, states that she and the victim were sitting on the rocks by the water when 2 subjects on a scooter drove up to them and the passenger got off the back and approached them with a firearm drawn. The off-duty CBP officer responded by withdrawing his own firearm in self-defense."

The officer took bullets to his right arm and left cheek but still managed to wound Nunez, who was later dropped off at a Bronx hospital with shots to the leg and groin. Talk about a hero.

Noem, after visiting the officer, said, "His quick action speaks to his tenacity and his excellence in training and skill. And because of that, one of the perpetrators was wounded in this interaction and was incarcerated when he came in to get medical treatment." She added, "I just want you all to know that we have our hearts and our prayers going out with our officer and with his family and his friends, and will be lifting him up in prayer for his quick recovery and healing from this terrible tragedy that has befallen him."

But Noem wasn’t done and unleashed a blistering critique of sanctuary city mayors across the country, from Adams to Boston's Michelle Wu, LA's Karen Bass, and Chicago's Brandon Johnson. "I’m calling on every single mayor and sanctuary city and sanctuary governor to change their policies and to change their tactics right now," she demanded. "When I look at what Mayor Adams has done to New York City, it breaks my heart to see the families that have suffered because of his policies."

CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott piled on, stating, "We should not be here today. The reason these two assailants are inside the United States today is because of failed border policies by the Biden administration." Border czar Tom Homan, visibly shaken after seeing the officer, added, "I visited the officer last night, of course, he was heavily sedated, so I didn’t have words with him. But I did talk to his family. They’re devastated. It's just a shock to the soul when you walk in and see that young man laying there." Homan's warning was clear: "Sanctuary cities are sanctuaries for criminals. President Trump is not going to tolerate it."

Even President Trump weighed in, writing, "An incredible CBP Officer was shot in the face by an Illegal Alien Monster freed into the Country under Joe Biden. The CBP Officer bravely fought off his attacker, despite his wounds, demonstrating enormous Skill and Courage."

Mayor Adams, trying to save face, admitted Nunez is a career criminal with "prior arrests for assault and violating an order protection," plus an active bench warrant and charges for robbery and stabbing. "He has inflicted violence in our city and once he is charged for last night’s crimes, we will be able to add attempted murder to his rap sheet," Adams said.

Too little, too late. Noem's message is loud and clear: sanctuary policies are a magnet for chaos, and it’s time to stop coddling criminals. How many more lives need to be shattered before these mayors wake up?

Biden’s Border Disaster: ICE Rounds Up Murderers and Child Rapists in Boston While Sanctuary Policies Shield Criminals

In a shocking display of what open-border policies have unleashed, Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin embedded with ICE in Boston, where agents are taking down some of the worst criminals and illegal immigrants, including an alleged murderer and child rapists.

This comes as the Trump administration faces pushback from left-wing officials hell-bent on protecting their sanctuary city status over the safety of Americans.

Operation “Patriot,” the largest ICE sweep since President Trump’s return to the White House, is closing in on 1,500 arrests of dangerous illegals. Among them is a Salvadoran scumbag convicted of child rape, deported in 2017, who was caught living right next to a children’s playground.

If that doesn’t make your blood boil, how about another illegal from El Salvador, on Interpol’s Red Notice for aggravated murder, kidnapping, and robbery? Fox News captured both arrests on camera, exposing the grim reality of Biden’s border legacy.

So where are the other legacy news outlets?

“It’s not unusual. Due to the open border policies, we are finding that plenty of people who have been previously deported and committed heinous crimes and were removed from the country are now back here, just living among us,” said Patricia Hyde, head of ICE Boston. “And now that’s our job to go round them up.”

ICE deployed 19 teams across Massachusetts, pulling in agents from across the country to clean up the mess left by sanctuary policies in Boston and beyond. About 70% of those nabbed have convictions or pending charges for heinous crimes. ICE also arrested a Colombian illegal facing charges for sexually assaulting a child and a Dominican drug trafficker now peddling fentanyl. Then there’s the Guatemalan illegal charged with aggravated child rape and a Honduran charged with rape—both released from state custody by Massachusetts’ soft-on-crime officials.

“We’re not going away. It might take us longer. It might be harder, but we’re not going away, we’re here,” Hyde declared. “We know what the American people voted for. We understand that we work for the American people and we’re going to be here until we send everyone home.”

But here’s the problem: local ICE activists and sanctuary city policies are making it harder for agents to do their jobs.

On Thursday, activists tried to physically interfere with an arrest, grabbing a handcuffed illegal. In another case, a crowd blew ICE’s cover while agents staked out a murderer’s home. Hyde didn’t mince words: “I think the lack of cooperation is getting worse and worse, and it’s putting law enforcement lives in danger.”

This is the direct result of Democrat-run sanctuary cities like Boston thumbing their noses at federal immigration laws. As Border Czar Tom Homan surges ICE into these lawless zones, the left’s obsession with protecting criminal illegals over American citizens is on full display. Meanwhile, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin is left scrambling to defend the indefensible as the Trump admin’s deportation agenda kicks into high gear.

The American people have had enough, and ICE is finally delivering the justice they voted for. But with activists and local officials actively working against law enforcement, how many more child rapists and murderers are still roaming free?

Trump moves to speed up deportations using local police

The Trump administration is hitting the gas on deportations, and they’re bringing the whole squad along for the ride. A Department of Homeland Security memo, sniffed out in an exclusive by The Daily Wire, spills the beans: they’re deputizing cops nationwide to crack down on illegal immigration like never before.

[H/T The Daily Wire]

The memo’s got the receipts—DHS inked 562 deals with state and local law enforcement, flexing a federal law that lets these agencies play immigration cop. Sure, these agreements were around under Biden, but Trump’s team is on steroids, cranking out a 316% spike in signed deals compared to Sleepy Joe’s four years.

That’s right, they’re building a deportation machine, and it’s humming.

Why’s this a big deal? Because the administration and most of the nation has a deportation itch they can’t scratch.

With 18.6 million illegal aliens chilling in the U.S. and judges throwing up roadblocks like it’s a demolition derby, the feds need backup. These agreements are the secret sauce, letting local cops team up with ICE, tap into federal immigration databases, and slap detainers on illegal aliens to keep ‘em locked up till ICE rolls in. It’s a force multiplier that could help Trump hit his goal of meeting a million illegal aliens a year.

And it’s already working. “Since January 20, our partnerships with state and local law enforcement have led to over 1,100 arrests of dangerous criminal illegal aliens,” the memo brags. “ICE has also trained over 5,000 officers across the country to help track down and arrest criminal illegal aliens in their communities.” That’s not just talk—that’s results.

Of course, the usual suspects are crying foul. One George Soros-funded, far-left outfit whined that these agreements “are designed to extend the reach of the Trump deportation machine.” Boo-hoo. Sounds like they’re mad it’s actually working.

Case in point: Operation Tidal Wave, a first-of-its-kind tag-team between ICE Miami and Florida’s finest. They nabbed nearly 800 illegal aliens in just four days. The DHS memo lays it out: “In just six days, 1,120 criminal illegal aliens were arrested, including dozens of rapists, murderers, drug traffickers, and MS-13 members.” That’s not a flex; that’s a mic drop. The memo calls it a “resounding success” and a sneak peek at what’s coming: a law enforcement Voltron taking out illegal aliens left and right.

If you’re a state or local agency sitting this out, you’re stuck on the bench. Without these agreements, you can’t access the feds’ immigration database or kick off ICE detainers. You’re basically twiddling your thumbs while sanctuary cities give ICE the middle finger.

The memo wraps it up with a warning that’s pure Trump energy: “America is no longer a sanctuary for criminal aliens.” And to the illegal aliens? “We will find you. We will hunt you down. We will deport you. And you will never come back.”

Game on.
