NATO ally blocks airspace to military sorties over Iran

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez (Yves Herman/Reuters)

Spain has blocked US military aircraft from its airspace and denied access to the Rota and Morón bases over the Iran conflict.

A growing standoff between President Trump and a key NATO ally escalated Monday after Spain blocked U.S. military aircraft involved in the Iran conflict from using its airspace, marking the latest rupture between Washington and Madrid over defense policy and the war in the Middle East.

Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles confirmed the move, saying Spain has denied both airspace access and the use of joint U.S.-Spanish bases for any operations tied to the Iran conflict.

"This was made perfectly clear to the American military and forces from the very beginning," Robles said. "Neither the bases are authorized, nor, of course, is the use of Spanish airspace authorized for any actions related to the war in Iran."

Spain already had refused to allow U.S. forces to use the strategically critical Rota and Morón bases in southern Spain, installations long viewed as key hubs for American military operations into Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The expansion of that restriction to Spanish airspace effectively cuts off another logistical pathway for U.S. operations and signals that Madrid is willing to directly limit U.S. military movement despite its NATO membership.

The dispute has increasingly become a direct clash between Trump and Spain’s left-wing government under Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, which has taken one of the most outspoken positions in Europe against U.S. and Israeli military action.

Sánchez has described the Iran war as "illegal," "reckless" and "unjust," and his government has framed its refusal to cooperate as a matter of international law and national sovereignty.

"This decision is part of the decision already made by the Spanish government not to participate in or contribute to a war which was initiated unilaterally and against international law," Economy Minister Carlos Cuerpo said in a radio interview when asked whether the move could further strain ties with the United States.

Trump previously lashed out at Spain after it denied base access, saying, "We’re going to cut off all trade with Spain" and "We don’t want anything to do with Spain."

A White House official downplayed Spain's latest move.

"The United States Military is meeting or surpassing all of its goals under Operation Epic Fury and does not need help from Spain or anyone else," the official told Fox News Digital.

The U.S. maintains a significant military presence in Spain under long-standing bilateral agreements, including Naval Station Rota and Morón Air Base, which serve as key hubs for American forces moving between the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Naval Station Rota, in particular, supports U.S. Navy operations in the Mediterranean and hosts warships tied to the U.S. Sixth Fleet, some of which have been operating in the broader Iran conflict.

Spain’s earlier decision to bar the use of those bases for Iran-related operations forced U.S. aircraft, including refueling tankers, to relocate to other European bases such as Germany and France.

The standoff also reflects broader, long-running friction between Trump and Spain over defense spending and burden-sharing inside NATO, where Madrid has lagged behind alliance targets, an issue Trump has repeatedly used to pressure European allies.

Spain’s decision underscores a deeper divide within NATO over how to respond to the Iran conflict, with Madrid emerging as one of the clearest dissenting voices willing to translate political opposition into operational limits on U.S. military activity.

Robles reiterated that position Monday, calling the war "profoundly illegal and profoundly unjust," underscoring Spain’s continued resistance despite pressure from Washington.

This episode reveals something larger than a mere logistical disagreement. It exposes the fragility of the Western alliance when one of its members, driven by ideological fervor rather than strategic necessity, chooses to obstruct the defense of shared interests. Spain under Sánchez has not merely withheld cooperation, it has actively hindered the United States at a moment of genuine crisis. Such behavior raises profound questions about what NATO truly means in the twenty-first century, if its members can pick and choose their commitments based on domestic political posturing. The willingness of Madrid to treat American military movements as optional, even as threats gather in the Middle East, suggests a dangerous erosion of the very solidarity that once defined the alliance.

Team Israel refuses to be intimidated and remains in cycling race

Imagine the absurdity of the situation unfolding in Spain, where the Israeli Premier Tech cycling team, competing in the Vuelta a España, found itself under siege, not by rival athletes, but by the sanctimonious posturing of pro-Palestinian protesters.

On Wednesday, the team was pressed by race organizers to withdraw from this prestigious Grand Tour, one of the crown jewels of men's road cycling, because of demonstrations clogging the route in Bilbao, a city notorious for its anti-Israel fervor in a nation often deemed among Europe's most reflexively pro-Palestinian. The team's response was resolute and principled: "The team remains committed to continuing to compete in the Valletta. Any other course of action sets a dangerous precedent in cycling, not only for Israel Premier Tech, but for all teams."

What are we to make of this? The race director, Kika Garcia, in a moment of spineless capitulation, admitted on local radio that he had appealed to the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) to have the Israelis removed. "This was the most complicated day of the race. If no changes are made, the protests will continue," he bleated, as though the mere presence of Israeli athletes justified the chaos. "Right now, the participation of Israelis is mandatory and we need to protect everyone. We have informed the UCI of our opinion. I hope things will change." Change, in this context, is a euphemism for surrender; a groveling acquiescence to the mob.

The 11th stage in Bilbao was delayed by 19 minutes as demonstrators, brandishing Palestinian flags and anti-Israel placards, blocked the road. With 15 kilometers left, organizers truncated the stage by three kilometers, declaring no winner, citing fears that protests at the finish line might endanger riders. For the first time in the Vuelta's 80-year history, a stage was cut short.

This is not mere disruption; it is sabotage, dressed up as moral righteousness.

Tom Pidcock, one of the race's leading contenders, captured the frustration with understated dignity: "It was hard to describe the disappointment of the premature end," he said, believing he had a shot at stage victory. "But risking our lives is unacceptable. Protesting at the expense of our safety does not advance anyone’s cause." Here is a man who understands the stakes, not just of the race, but of the principle. To endanger athletes for political point-scoring is not activism; it is thuggery.

The protests were not confined to Bilbao. During Stage 5's team time trial, men and women stormed the road in front of the Israeli team. In Stage 10, they did so again, forcing riders to swerve or slow down. One, Simone Petilli, crashed as a result. His injuries were minor, but his plea on X was raw and human: "I understand that is not a good situation, but yesterday I crashed because of a protest on the road. Please, we are just cyclists and we are doing our job, but if it will continue like this our safety is not guaranteed anymore, and we feel in danger! We just want to race! Please."

The UCI, to its credit, condemned the protests, stating that the right to demonstrate cannot come "at the expense of the safety of the athletes. Echoing Petilli, they added that the racers "are not involved in political matters and are just doing their job." The Israeli team, meanwhile, expressed gratitude to "race organizers and the UCI for their continued support and cooperation, as well as the teams and riders who expressed their support publicly and privately, and of course, our fans."

Let's be clear: this is not about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, whatever one's views on that intractable mess. This is about the cowardice of allowing a sporting event to be held hostage by those who would rather see chaos than competition. To ask a team to withdraw because their presence offends a vocal minority is to hand a veto to the loudest, most disruptive voices. It is to say that merit, effort, and the right to compete can be nullified by the threat of a tantrum. If this precedent is set, no team--Israeli or otherwise--will be safe from the whims of any group with a flag and a grudge.

That is not progress; it is regression into a world where might makes right, and the mob rules all.

3 Nations shamefully recognize Palestine

So-called Palestinians prepare to go kill, you know, the Jews!

Ireland, Norway and Spain are preparing to recognize the make believe place called Palestine, they announced on Wednesday. The date of recognition of the terrorist state is set for May 28. The claim to have hope that this will pave the way for a ceasefire and allow the Hamassholes a victory against Israel.

Norway's anti-Semites were the first to announce their support of the terrorists in a coordinated move with the other two anti-Semitic nation leaders.

Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre claimed in an address that the endorsement of the terrorists was "in support of moderate forces that are on a retreating front in a protracted and cruel conflict."

"This is an investment in the only solution that can bring lasting peace in the Middle East," the naive idiot added, referring to the so-called "two state solution" which would see an Israeli and a Palestinian state existing peacefully next to each other.

And if you believe that can happen, you aren't paying attention to what Hamas has promised, which is to attack Israel, not ten more times or a hundred, but ten thousand times. There can be no coexistence with Hamas in charge, and the Gazans aren't so great either when it comes to their feelings about Jewish people.

Ireland and Spain followed suit soon after Støre's announcement.

"Today, we state clearly our unambiguous support for the equal right to security, dignity, and self-determination for the Palestinian and Israeli peoples," Irish Foreign Minister, Micheál Martin, said, tongue-in-cheek.

If Hamas wanted security they would not have slaughtered 1,200 Israeli men, women and children on October 7th.

The country's Prime Minister, Simon Harris, later stressed that "Hamas is not the Palestinian people," in spite of the fact that they voted for them and many participated in the slaughter of the Jews.

"Today's decision to recognize Palestine is taken to help create a peaceful future," he said, with a straight face.

Mr Harris's comments were echoed by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, who said the move was "not against Israel, is not against the Jews," although if all the Jews in Israel were slaughtered, one has to wonder what Sanchez would say.

"It is not in favor of Hamas which is something that has been said. This recognition is not against anyone, it is in favor of peace and coexistence." as reported by the BBC.

In response, Israel immediately called on its ambassadors in the nations to return.

"I’m sending a clear and unequivocal message to Ireland and Norway: Israel will not remain silent in the face of those undermining its sovereignty and endangering its security," Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said. "Today’s decision sends a message to the Palestinians and the world: Terrorism pays. After the Hamas terror organization carried out the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, after committing heinous sexual crimes witnessed by the world, these countries chose to reward Hamas and Iran by recognizing a Palestinian state. This distorted step by these countries is an injustice to the memory of the victims of [10/7], a blow to efforts to return the 128 hostages, and a boost to Hamas and Iran's jihadists, which undermines the chance for peace and questions Israel’s right to self-defense. Israel will not remain silent - there will be further severe consequences."

Katz also said the ambassadors from the three countries in Israel will be given "reprimand talks" and shown footage from the Oct. 7 attack, according to BBC.

Hamas and the Palestinian Authority celebrated the move by Norway, Spain, and Ireland, which was denounced by those on the left and right in the U.S. except for the Democrats in the so called Squad, who support Hamas in their efforts to free the world of those, you know, Jews.

Spain to kick up UNRWA funding

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) was established as an organ of the United Nations General Assembly on December 8, 1949 and began operations on Mayday 1950. As an arm of Hamas and other anti-Zionist/anti-Semitic organizations, it is one of the UN's largest programs.

It is believed that approximately ten percent of its 13,000 staff, or about 1,300 jihadis, work for UNRWA.

Spain has announced that it will send the Islamic organization an extra 3,500,000 euros or $4,011,500 US dollars in aid, Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares announced to lawmakers on Monday.

Due to UNRWA's relationship with terrorism, after it was discovered that around a dozen of its workers were involved in the October 7 massacre by Hamassholes in Israel, major donors, including the United States and Germany have suspended donations. This has been causing financial difficulties and concomitant problems with teaching anti-Zionism and antisemitism in Gazan schools.

Israel has been examining alternatives to UNRWA, including redirecting food aid through the UN’s World Food Program or through USAID. It is clearly known that Hamas has been taking food aid for themselves and not allowing Gazan civilians to have it.

Hamas riding shotgun, RPG launcher, AK47

Albares said that UNRWA’s situation was “desperate and there is a serious risk that its humanitarian activities will be paralyzed in Gaza within a few weeks.” There is also a serious risk that Gaza will run out of hiding places where they can keep Israeli hostages without the help of UNRWA workers there.

Spain contributed 18.5 million euros directly to UNRWA in 2023, including 10 million euros approved in December following the decision to triple development and humanitarian aid to the Palestinian territories.

On Friday, neighboring Portugal announced additional aid to UNRWA of 1 million euros, with Foreign Minister Joao Cravinho writing on social media platform X that it was essential “not to turn our backs on the Palestinian population at this difficult time.”

How about ensuring the so called Palestinian population actually receives the aid without Hamas grabbing it.

DefSec Austin announces strategy regarding Houthis in Red Sea

U.S. Secretary of Defense (LOL) Lloyd Austin announced a new maritime task force on Monday slated to safeguard commercial shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, proving that men can regrow their testicles under the right conditions.

Operation Prosperity Guardian includes the UK, Canada, eh, Bahrain, Italy, France, Norway, Netherlands, Spain and Seychelles.

“The recent escalation in reckless Houthi attacks originating from Yemen threatens the free flow of commerce, endangers innocent mariners, and violates international law,” Austin finally said in a statement. “The Red Sea is a critical waterway that has been essential to freedom of navigation and a major commercial corridor that facilitates international trade.”

Austin said the initiative is "under the under the umbrella of the Combined Maritime Forces and the leadership of its Task Force 153, which focuses on security in the Red Sea."

Since the Oct. 7 Hamassholes massacred over 1,200 innocent Israelis, mostly civilians, the Iran-backed Houthi terrorists and other terrorist groups, have been firing missiles at merchant vessels and attacking ships with drones as well. In some cases, the terrorist boarded ships and hijacked them.

Since the Houthi aggression, BP and Maersk have halted operations in the Red Sea and needed to take significantly longer routes, which increase costs and affect global trade.

Iran’s sleazy Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani warned the US that such a task force will face “extraordinary problems.” But in reality, he's just grabbing his crotch and pretending to be tough. Iran's navy is about as sophisticated as a Pez dispenser.

“Nobody can make a move in a region where we have predominance,” Ashtiani reportedly told the Iranian Student News Agency.

U.S., U.K., Canada and others urge their citizens to evacuate Lebanon as Iranian terrorists escalate terror on Israel

At least ten countries are alerting their citizens in Lebanon to get out of there as fast as they can as the religion of peace worshiping Iranian organizations ramp up terror attacks on Israel's northern border. It's possible that a second front in the war could begin in Israel's war against Islamic terrorists in the region.

Israel officials worry that Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terrorist organization operating out of Lebanon, is preparing to launch a full-scale attack on Israel's northern border with their 20,000 jihad terrorists. They have approximately 150,000 rockets at the ready and could easily overwhelm Israel's Iron Dome defense, a number that gets Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar moist.

Hezbollah high-ranking official Hashem Safieddine gave a speech to thousands of unwashed supporters on Wednesday, claiming that the terrorist group was “thousands of times stronger” than it was in the past, and threatening Israel and the West, warning that attacks on Hezbollah would be a “resounding” mistake, even though it would be the only reasonable thing the Jewish State would do in an existential response.

And while Hezbollah shakes its bloody fist and screams, the IDF might very well have the capability to kick its proverbial ass in battle.

Never again means never again--it doesn't mean "don't."

The countries that have told their citizens to "get out of Dodge" include the United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Canada, France, Kuwait, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, and Australia.

On Monday, the IDF announced that residents of 28 towns along the Israel-Lebanon border needed to immediately evacuate the area. These communities are: Ghajar, Dishon, Kfar Yuval, Margaliot, Metula, Avivim, Dovev, Ma’ayan Baruch, Bara’m, Manara, Yiftach, Malkia, Misgav Am, Yir’on, Dafna, Arab al-Aramshe, Shlomi, Netu’a, Ya’ara, Shtula, Matat, Zari’t, Shomera, Betzet, Adamit, Rosh HaNikram, Hanita and Kfar Giladi.

Hezbollah's primary goal is the elimination of Jews and the targeting of the United States all over the world as it has operations in Africa, the Americas, and Asia.

Thanks to former President Barack Hussein Obama (D) the terrorist organization grew quickly. He even let them smuggle in many tons of illicit drugs into the US as his weak way of appeasing the alligator known as Iran while believing they'd go along with the proposed nuclear deal.

Can I get a WTF?

Vegan with good intentions kills 100 bunnies

Barcelona -- She goes by the name "Mythical Mia," but she just as easily could call herself "Mia the Meatball," but at least she meant well. And you know what they say about the road to hell . . .

So Mythical Mia [henceforth known as M&M] tried to save animals from the horrors of being bunnies, and for her efforts she rescued 16 of the long-eared furry rodents.

An article in The New York Post reports that M&M's rescue of 16 rabbits from a farm near Osono last Sunday caused the deaths of nearly 100 baby bunnies, and this is even sadder than the million baby babies that are aborted in the United States each year because they're killed, sight unseen.

The news outlet said that the activist, allegedly stole a load of rabbits which were pregnant or lactating. And you know about rabbits and multiplying--the 16 mama rabbits had about 90 little bunnies which due to the absence of their mothers had to be euthanized, which is a nice way of saying killed.

M&M, whose real name is unknown, had proudly posted her rescue campaign on Instagram but disabled it when she discovered she had killed many more animals than she had supposedly saved.

“These 16 are the lucky ones,” M&M said in Spanish about her Pyrrhic victory rescue. “After actions like this we get to go home but for them there is no way out. We only managed to find a home for 16 beforehand, so had to leave thousands of mothers and babies behind. They will be trapped inside those cages for their entire lives, their only escape is when they are shipped off to a slaughterhouse to be murdered for their flesh and fur. Rabbits like these are also abused for animal testing, tortured for a lifetime before eventually getting murdered too. They are also regularly kept as ‘pets’ often in solitary confinement and inappropriate conditions suffering from boredom and multiple other health issues.”

Rabbits suffering from 'boredom"? Hahahaha.

M&M added: “What we do to the animals need to end immediately. This injustice has gone on far too long. We will continue to enter in these facilities to expose these horrors and liberate the beings trapped inside for as long as it takes. We are not going anywhere. Join us in our fight, be vegan, be active and let’s put an end to this once and for all.”

Really, she sounds like a nice person, but she needs to refrain from trying to save rabbits and other animals that taste like chicken.

And what makes rabbits more valuable than unborn babies? Why isn't she rescuing them?

Trans Miss Universe contestant thinks he doesn't need a vagina to be female

Okay gang, let's all go along with the delusions of people who really believe that they are not the gender the are assigned at birth, that their chromosomes are inconvenient false flags, and that just by thinking it, poof, they're the opposite sex, or whatever race they believe they belong to regardless of the race they actually belong to as Rachel Dolezal claimed.

Let's not provide these delusional people with help and reality--that would be cruel and insensitive.

Angela Ponce, a transgender male and Miss Universe contestant, said that "Having a vagina does not make me a woman," Ponce, who suffers from Gender Identity Disorder said.  "I am a woman and already was before my birth. Because my identity is here [points at his head], not down there. This determines my being a woman."

Which is purely delusional.

If Ponce thought he was an aardvark, "because my desire to eat ants and my belief that I'm an aardvark proves it, not my body," [sweeps his hand across his chest and lower extremities] does not make him an aardvark. It makes him mentally ill.
A man who thinks he a woman beating
the crap out of actual women in sport
Sadly, Ponce isn't getting the help he needs to understand that he's wrong about his biology, and that's really a societal problem. And when exactly before his birth was he a she?

Ponce represented Spain and made history as the first guy to compete in the Miss Universe contest, but alas, he lost to an actual "Miss."

He claimed that biology does not determine gender, but being that he isn't an actual biologist, and lacks understanding about the definition of gender, his claim holds as much validity as self-righteous indignation by James Comey.

Wikipedia describes sexual differentiation [i.e., gender] thus:

The human Y chromosome showing the SRY gene which codes for a protein regulating sexual differentiation.

Sexual differentiation in humans is the process of development of sex differences in humans. It is defined as the development of phenotypic structures consequent to the action of hormones produced following gonadal determination. Sexual differentiation includes development of different genitalia and the internal genital tracts, breasts, body hair, and plays a role in gender identification.

The development of sexual differences begins with the XY sex-determination system that is present in humans, and complex mechanisms are responsible for the development of the phenotypic differences between male and female humans from an undifferentiated zygote. Females have two X chromosomes, and males have a Y chromosome and an X chromosome. At an early stage in embryonic development, both sexes possess equivalent internal structures. These are the mesonephric ducts and paramesonephric ducts. The presence of the SRY geneon the Y chromosome causes the development of the testes in males, and the subsequent release of hormones which cause the paramesonephric ducts to regress. In females, the mesonephric ducts regress.

And so on.

Ponce won the 2018 Miss Universe Spain pageant, meaning that there are a lot of angry Spanish women who lost due to intersectional politics. He has undergone voluntary genital mutilation and hormone ingestion to make his crotch appear to be that of a female and go along with his delusional system, and still lost the contest.

If the beauty pageant thing doesn't work out for him, Ponce may go into woman's sporting events in order to win at something. Guys who claim to be women are doing it all the time lately.

Here's what the pig's sty looks like

Some say that a cluttered apartment is the sign of a cluttered mind, but in the case of Younes "I'd-Like-to-Buy-a-Vowel" Abouyaaquoub, it's the sign of a young cold-blooded Islamic terrorist.

Abouyaaquoub, 22, is currently Europe's most-wanted scum crumpet and he is alleged to have plowed a van down Las Ramblas promenade Thursday, which killed 13 people and injuring 120 others.

He fled on foot and remains at large.

Another attack several hours later killed one person and injured others in the town of Cambrils.

Authorities raided his apartment and discovered that Abouyaaquoub is apparently a religious Muslim as they found the religious text "The Life of the Prophet Muhammad" on a filthy mattress.

On Sunday, The Sun obtained what they claimed are exclusive photos of the terrorist's apartment (aka the "Dump") after it was searched by police. [All photos in this post are credited to The Sun

Apparently, Abouyaaquoub got out of Dodge as quickly as possible, according to what the photos reveal. He likely shared the dump with his wife and two young children. The apartment is located in Ripoll, about 65 miles from the attack.

The photo of the prophet of Islam religious text was taken in the bedroom where a huge pile of clothing is seen on a metal-frame bed.

The kitchen looks like it should be condemned by the Board of Health: a serving spoon in the sink, a disgustingly greasy frying pan, a loaf of fresh French bread and a pot of Moroccan tea on the counter.

A photo of a Moroccan passport can be seen on a table containing a can of insecticide, a roll of toilet paper (which is likely not used for its normal task) and a bottle of glass cleaner (which is probably what the toilet paper is used with).

There were also two pictures on the wall containing verses from the Quran, the Islamic "holy" book that is often mistaken for a military manual.

Authorities believe Abouyaaquoub (pronounced "About yah cab") was part of a 12-member extremist cell of the Islamic persuasion that staged both vehicle attacks and plotted a far deadlier plot using explosives favored by ISIS.

It was learned that all three vehicles tied to the investigation were rented with Abouyaaquoub's credit card. It's believed they planned to fill the vans with the explosives and create a massive attack in the Catalan capital.

Hopefully, they will apprehend Abouyaaquoub soon before he can kill more innocent people.

Austria to deploy military to border to block migrants

Austria sent armored vehicles close to its border with Italy and will deploy 750 soldiers to guard it against the influx of migrants, the government said.

The problem is not simply limited to Austria, it is happening all over Europe with enormous numbers of asylum seekers who continue crossing the Mediterranean from the coast of Libya.

Thus far this year, over 85,000 migrants have been rescued and brought to Italy, where they will eventually grow in number and demand Sharia law.

Austria will increase border controls at Brenner Pass, a major trade and transport route through the Alps connecting it with Italy.

The 750 soldiers could be immediately sent to the border within 72 hours pending a migration emergency.

"I expect border controls will be introduced very soon," defense minister Peter Doskozil told Kronen Zeitung

"But we see how the situation in Italy is becoming more acute and we have to be prepared to avoid a situation comparable to summer 2015," he added, referencing the period when hundreds of thousands of refugees and migrants poured into Western Europe along the so-called Balkan Route.

Tens of thousands of migrants have nowhere to go with France and Switzerland having closed their borders over the last year. The EU came up with a plan to relocate 160,000 asylum seekers stuck in Greece and Italy, but thus far have only resettled 12,000.

Italy says it can't deal with the huge number of asylum-seekers without any help, mostly consisting of economic migrants flooding across the Mediterranean.

Italy wants rescued migrants to be sent to ports in Spain and France, but both Paris and Madrid are reluctant to the idea after experiencing higher levels of crimes from their guests.

The Italian government warned that after years of taking in hundreds of thousands of migrants, they're now at a breaking point.

I say, send them to Germany--Angela Merkel is only too happy to allow them entry.

ISIS: "We're looking for a few pissed off men"

The Islamic State is using prisons in Europe to recruit a new batch of scumcrumpets for jihad. Prisons are becoming inordinately over-represented by Muslim men.

In the UK, fully 44% of high-security inmates are Muslim. In Belgium, 34%a of all inmates belong to the religion of peace. In France and Spain, the numbers are an incredible 70% and in Germany, it's 30% of inmates labeled as "foreign," which means mostly Muslim.

Prisons throughout Europe have become jihad recruiting stations, according to a study by the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (UK) which examined the development of ideology of 79 jihadists from Belgium, the UK, Denmark, France, Germany and the Netherlands. Of the population studied, 57% were imprisoned before radicalization. A minimum of 27% became radicalized while incarcerated.

The Islamic State is less interested in recruiting jihadists from college campuses or even from mosques. They get their beheaders and immolators from prisons where it's easy to find "infuriated young men" who are "ripe" for radicalization.

Often, these pissed off guys already know how to use weapons and get their hands on illegal cash, so time and money is saved in the process.

And insofar as knowing Islamic scripture is concerned, it has been found that those who know the Koran and Sharia the most, don't blow themselves up for the cause, but get naive dummies to do the wet work. You'll hardly ever see an imam blow himself to smithereens when he can get Bubba from cell block A to do it for him.

Since 2011, about 5,000 jihadists from Western Europe have gone to the Middle East to join in the jihad jamboree.

"Ah, those kids . . . they blow up so quickly."

Obama: We are at war with words, not Muslims

Muslims fear that recent incidents in which they went on killing sprees against non-Muslims will anger unbelievers and cause us to retaliate against believers in the religion of peace.

President Obama's administration has made it clear that the United States is not at war with Islam but we are at war with words. Rhetoric. If we say the right words, all will be good in the world.

This is why Obama appointed such eloquent wordsmiths like John Kerry and Josh Earnest. When these great speakers verbalize indignation over a suicide bombing, or a simple ISIS beheading, or Iran kidnapping Americans and holding them hostage, Islam listens to what these men have to say.

Islam hears them and respects their indignation, often apologizing for their abject barbarism.

But is it simply a war of rhetoric, as Josh Earnest said this week?

Recently, a mob of Muslim militants entered a Ndomete village in the Central African Republic (CAR) a went door-to-door killing Christians. The UN confirmed the event and number of casualties.

The jihadists, believed to belong to the Islamic group Seleka,  killed 26 people, deliberately targeting them because of their religion.

A local Christian leader said, 'If the government is not going to beef up the security, then we are going to defend ourselves. We shall not keep quiet as our brothers are dying."

The Christian leader was not talking about talking to these killers--he was referring to actually killing them if they attempted to kill his brethren.

In Nigeria, Boko Haram jihadists attacked Christians in Kwamjilari village after a Sunday church service, killing 8 Christians who stood outside the house of worship. Boko Haram stationed gunmen on the road leading away from the church so they could shoot those who tried to flee.

One wonders what the Obama administration would say to the attackers. Perhaps something like: "We are outraged over this brutal act of mindless brutality. This is not Islam. Boko Haram does not represent the religion of peace."

Or something just as inane.

In Spain, a Cameroon immigrant is now on trial for murdering 6 other immigrants by throwing them overboard while crossing the Mediterranean in his boat. He blamed the rough seas which rocked the boat on the fact that a Catholic pastor was leading the passengers in prayer. He and another Muslim (who later died) beat the pastor with pieces of wood before throwing the victims overboard.

The killer actually believed that Christian prayer can anger Allah to the point of capsizing his boat. He is so religious that he attributed Allah's power to the rough seas. If that isn't an example of absolute Islamic faith, I don't know what is, but you can imagine Obama's mouthpieces saying how that doesn't represent Islam.

Of course it does. It may not represent all of Islam, but it certainly represents a faction of people who believe they must 'defend' the religion under all circumstances. It represents a faction of those who believe the Medina portion of the Koran that tells them to "kill the unbelievers wherever you find them."

This is not a war on rhetoric. It's a war on people who want to kill us. It's also a war on ideology, but that comes after we get their attention by killing those who would kill us.

It's time to wake up to the hard, cold truth.

Spain celebrates their indignation

Madrid -- Puerta del Sol square became the scene of a protest back in 2011, a protest that lasted four weeks. From that protest came sit-ins throughout Spain where the unemployed and unwashed could get together and complain while blocking others from accessing the streets to get to work.

The "Occupy" movement was born throughout the world.  Protestors without jobs could be led by millionaires and billionaires to proclaim the joys of socialism and the leaders raked in the dough.

In Spain, the movement begat Podemos, their third-largest political party.

The Democracy Now platform urges folks to "occupy squares in all the world's cities on Sunday" defecate where and when you please, pee at will, throw your garbage away and let someone else pick it up--they're getting paid to do that so why not make them work for their blood money--and just make a lot of noise and create disruption and chaos.

The protest is against austerity, corruption and lack of transparency in government. A huge demonstration is planned in Madrid, but it isn't clear who's behind it.

Perhaps George Soros, but he probably doesn't speak Spanish.

The protestors are calling themselves "Indignados," or pissed off peons over Spain's political parties. This was how the Podemos grew and they will seek to gain power in the June 26 election.

It is unclear if Bernie Sanders will seek office in Spain if this USA gig doesn't pan out for him.

Islamic gunman Ayoub el-Khazzani on the radar in 3 countries

Before
Ayoub el-Khazzani may have traveled to Syria where he learned how to kill infidels, but his religious mentors forgot to teach him how to properly clean and clear his Kalishnikov.

The 26-year-old Muslim terrorist was able to board a high-speed Paris-bound train with his Russian made weapon, 9 magazines, a pistol and a box-cutter, in spite of the fact that he was on the radar in France, Belgium and Spain.

Maybe they forgot to plug in the radar that day.

The scumcrumpet was known to have ties to radical Islam, a term that really means "strict Islam," because there is nothing in the Islamic [so-called] holy book that el-Khazzani wasn't following.

The Associated Press (AP) said that officials did not disclose a possible motive for the attack on Friday, so we have no clue as to why this devout Muslim terrorist would want to kill perfect strangers of the infidel faith, but Interior Minister Bernard Cazenueve told the AP that Spanish authorities told French intelligence about el-Khazzani because he belongs to the "radical Islamist movement."

Again, another name for this radical movement is called "strict Islam," or Islam by the book.

After
Three passengers aboard the train were injured, plus the terrorist who got the crap beaten out of him by 3 brave Americans (another instance where the USA saved France in battle) and luckily, no one was killed. One of the Americans, U.S. Airman Spencer Stone, was the first to tackle the jihadist, and suffered cuts that were non life-threatening. A French and British passenger also helped in subduing the jihadist, tying him up after he was beaten unconscious and holding him for the authorities.

El-Khazzani was questioned by the feckless French anti-terrorism police who confirmed through fingerprints that he was the very same practitioner of strict Islam that had been brought to their attention back in February 2014, a French official told the AP. They said that he lived in Algeciras, a southern Spanish city, where he attended a terrorist mosque that was under surveillance.

Surveillance seems a waste of time, doesn't it?

El-Khazzani was transferred to anti-terror police headquarters near Paris where he could be held for up to 96 hours, given a glove-handled Koran and a prayer mat to pass the time.

It also seems that the French and Spanish accounts of the terrorist's travels don't agree, but at least we know the Algeciras mosque (sounds like Al-Jazeera, doesn't it?) is under surveillance. That ought to make us all feel safer.

So the terrorist lived in Spain until 2014, moved to France, traveled to Syria (and it wasn't to pick up a bag of kebabs) and returned to France again.

A French official told the AP the alert went out on May 10 in Berlin, where el-Khazzani was flying to Turkey. The rest of the report is a jumble of accounts. The main thing is, nothing was done to prevent the attempted jihad on the train, perhaps due to political correctness and fear of being called "Islamophobic."

Heaven forfend.

The scene went down thus:

El-Khazzani had his Kalishnikov strapped across his shoulder. A Frenchman trying to use the toilet encountered him and tried to subdue him. Bullets flew as two US servicemen and their civilian friend, with the help of a British guy, tackled the gunman and disarmed him.

The Americans are: U.S. Airman Spencer Stone of Carmichael, California; National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos from Roseburg, Oregon, and their friend Anthony Sadler, a senior a Sacramento State University in California.

Heroes
"I knew we had to do something or he was just going to kill people," Skarlatos told KEZI, an Oregon TV station. "I mean he wasn't shooting at the time so I figured it was a good time to do it."

Sadler told the AP how he saw a train employee running down the aisle being chased by el-Khazzani holding the automatic rifle. "As he was cocking it to shoot it, Alek just yells, 'Spencer, go!' And Spencer runs down the aisle. Spencer makes first contact, he tackles the guy, Alek wrestles the gun away from him, and the gunman pulls out a box cutter and slices Spencer a few times. And the three of us beat him until he was unconscious."

Chris Norman, a Brit, was the fourth guy to jump into the fight, grabbing the terrorist's arm and tying him up with his necktie.

Skarlatos, who served in Afghanistan, said that he examined the weapon and found that it failed to fire due to a defective primer in the round.

The train was rerouted to Arras, France where the terrorist was arrested.

Spencer Stone was hospitalized in Lille with a hand injury. An unidentified French-American citizen with a bullet wound was taken to another hospital in the same city.

Stone was released from the hospital later that day.

Our so-called president Obama phoned the three heroes to congratulate them and the trio will be meeting with socialist and French President Francois Hollande on Monday.

Now that "the horse has left the barn," after strict followers of Islam left 20 dead back in January and another man claiming allegiance to Islam beheaded his boss and set off an explosion at an American-owned factory in France, French authorities are on heightened alert and are thinking about closing the barn door.
