ICE Arrested Salah Sarsour President of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee!

Salah Sarsour, a Palestinian-American Muslim community leader and president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the state's largest mosque, was arrested by ICE on March 30, 2026. Sarsour has lived in the US since 1993 and became a permanent resident in 1998.

Sarsour has been detained for more than 80 days and is the subject of a major 2026 immigration case.

DHS alleged that he failed to disclose Israeli military-court convictions on his U.S. immigration application and has raised national-security and foreign-policy concerns, but his lawyers dispute these allegations and claim he was coerced and tortured into confessions as a teenager and that the efforts to deport him is his connection to his advocacy for Palestinian rights.

A federal judge ordered his release in June, finding that he raised a substantial claim that his detention was retaliatory for protected speech, [in spite of his blatant anti-Semitism].

However, on September 30th, a judge ruled that he could be deported on national-security/foreign-policy grounds. His attorneys said they would appeal.

Sarsour also served on the board of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP).

Not surprisingly, there are older allegations about alleged connections to Hamas and fundraising, with claims contained in congressional documents and court filings. Those allegations are contested and should be distinguished from the findings in the current immigration proceedings.

Regarding a timeline there are two competing narratives throughout the case: the government says Sarsour’s decades-old Israeli military convictions and alleged immigration violations justify removal; Sarsour’s attorneys say the convictions resulted from coercion and that the government revived them because of his Palestinian advocacy.

1988-1989: Arrest and Israeli military proceedings

Sarsour was born and raised in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

He was imprisoned by Israeli authorities in the late 1980s.

Court records and government filings say he was convicted by an Israeli military court of offenses involving attacks on Israeli military personnel, including throwing stones. DHS has characterized the case as involving a Molotov cocktail, while Sarsour's defense disputes that characterization.

His attorneys maintain that he was tortured and coerced into confessing. His former Israeli lawyer, Jawad Boulos, later testified to that claim during the 2026 immigration proceedings.

1993: Comes to the United States and became a conditional lawful permanent resident. He has said the U.S. has been his home for more than three decades.

1995: Second Israeli military conviction:

Israeli military authorities convicted Sarsour of attempting to possess weapons.
Sarsour denies committing the offense, while his attorneys say he was coerced into confessing.

1998: Becomes a full permanent resident

2002: Naturalization application approved

2000s-2020s: Milwaukee community leader Sarsour became president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, described as Wisconsin's largest mosque.
He also became involved in Palestinian advocacy and eventually served on the board of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP).

His supporters portray him as a longtime community leader with no criminal record in America. The government later argued that his Palestinian activism and other associations raised national-security and foreign-policy concerns.

June 2025: Rubio memorandum Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a memorandum invoking a rarely used provision of immigration law concerning foreign-policy consequences.

The government subsequently relied on that provision in seeking to remove Sarsour.

The provision had also been used against other prominent pro-Palestinian activists, including Mahmoud Khalil and Mohsen Mahdawi.

February 2026: Trump administration intensifies scrutiny of Palestinian advocacy The Justice Department's assistant attorney general for civil rights announced plans to investigate, prosecute and dismantle organizations including American Muslims for Palestine.

March 26, 2026: Canary Mission profile updated

According to the federal judge's account of the chronology, Sarsour's profile on the Canary Mission website was updated four days before his arrest.
His lawyers subsequently pointed to the timing as evidence that the government action was connected to his political advocacy.

March 30, 2026: ICE arrests Sarsour

Armed federal agents in civilian clothing arrested Sarsour in Milwaukee as he was going to work.
He was taken to the Clay County Jail in Indiana, where he remained in ICE custody for more than 80 days.

DHS alleged that his old Israeli convictions made him removable and accused him of concealing information on his immigration paperwork.

April-June 2026: Detention dispute escalates

Sarsour's attorneys argued that his detention was retaliation for his protected speech concerning Palestinian rights.

They also raised serious medical concerns. He reportedly lost more than 30 pounds while detained and, according to his attorneys, did not receive adequate monitoring of his diabetes.

June 18, 2026: Federal judge orders his release

U.S. District Judge James Patrick Hanlon ordered Sarsour released.

Hanlon found that Sarsour had presented a "substantial" First Amendment retaliation claim.
The judge also noted that the government had not adequately explained why Sarsour suddenly represented a threat after decades as a lawful permanent resident.

Sarsour was released on his own recognizance.

Importantly, Hanlon's ruling did not terminate the deportation proceedings. It concerned Sarsour's detention, while his underlying immigration case continued.

July 2026: Deportation hearings begin

Immigration proceedings began in Chicago before Assistant Chief Immigration Judge Jayme Salinardi.
DHS argued that Sarsour had lied on immigration documents and that his Israeli convictions demonstrated that he was removable.

Sarsour's attorneys argued that the Israeli convictions were obtained through torture and coercion and that the government had known about his history for decades.

August-September 2026: Evidence and testimony

Sarsour's former attorney Jawad Boulos testified that Sarsour had been tortured by Shin Bet and coerced into confessing.

Experts also testified concerning forced confessions and Israeli military courts.

DHS challenged the credibility and evidentiary basis of the torture allegations.

The immigration proceedings continued through September.

September 14, 2026: Final removal hearing
The fourth and final removal hearing was held in Chicago.
Sarsour's lawyers continued to argue that his detention and removal proceedings were politically motivated and connected to his advocacy for Palestinians.

September 30, 2026: Immigration judge rules Sarsour deportable

Judge Salinardi ruled that Sarsour could be deported on foreign-policy/national-security grounds.
However, the judge rejected the government's allegation that Sarsour had lied to immigration authorities about his history.

The ruling therefore did not establish that he fraudulently obtained his green card as DHS had alleged.

The decisive issue was Rubio's determination that Sarsour's presence could have adverse consequences for U.S. foreign policy. The judge gave substantial deference to that determination.

September 30, 2026: Sarsour announces appeal

Sarsour called the decision "deeply disappointing" and said:

"I will continue fighting to defend the right to free speech and to stay in the country I have called home for more than three decades."

His attorneys said they would appeal. They also indicated they expect to seek protection under the Convention Against Torture, arguing that Sarsour could face torture if returned to the region.
Where the case stands now

As of October 8, 2026, the September 30 ruling does not mean Sarsour has been deported. His attorneys have said they will appeal, and he may seek protection from removal based on the alleged risk of torture. The government cannot simply remove him while those available legal proceedings are pending.

One particularly important distinction for an article is this:

The immigration judge found Sarsour deportable on foreign-policy grounds, but rejected the government's claim that he lied on his immigration paperwork. That distinction is easy to lose in headlines describing the case as a deportation based on his "criminal history."

If you're researching this for a news article, the 1988-1995 Israeli convictions, the 1993 U.S. immigration entry, the 2002 naturalization approval, the 2025 Rubio memorandum, and the 2026 ICE arrest are the key pieces to examine closely because they form the government's entire chronology for why a man who had lived legally in America for more than three decades suddenly became the subject of removal proceedings.

Schumer, Jeffries Dodge Mamdani Controversy as Fellow New York Democrat Unloads

Chuck "Kapo" Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries

The two most powerful Democrats in Congress have apparently discovered that the best response to New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's disgusting lies on Israel and Gaza is to respond to something else.

Mamdani doubled down Thursday on his October 7 statement accusing Israel of carrying out a "genocide" in Gaza, while Senate Minority Leader Chuck "Kapo" Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries have so far declined to weigh in on the controversy.

Mamdani’s post on Wednesday briefly acknowledged Hamas’ October 7 blitz against Israel, which left more than 1,100 Israelis dead and more than 250 others captured and held hostage by the terrorist organization. He then devoted most of his statement to condemning Israel for its conduct in Gaza over the past three years.

"The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians — including more than 21,000 children," Mamdani said on X, leaving out the October 7th massacre of Israelis, for some reason. "Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed."

"That suffering has intensified with every [retaliatory] Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing," he said. "Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them — all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes."

Of course, this human piece of digestive waste had nothing to say of the unarmed Israelis who were slaughtered by the jihadists. He had no problem discussing the city's grief and the make-believe war crimes in Gaza, however. Never once did this disgusting excuse for a man mention the city's one million Jewish residents.

That omission became even more conspicuous when Rep. Dan Goldman, a fellow New York Democrat, decided that someone in his party should actually object. Finally, Goldman got his Hebrew on.

"This is a reprehensible statement on the anniversary of the horrific terrorist attack by a Palestinian terrorist organization against innocent Israelis," Goldman said on X. "In the guise of ‘grieving’ with those mourning that day, Mayor Mamdani asserts as fact hotly disputed allegations that he knows full well will offend and further upset those same people he pretends to grieve with."

Goldman's response stands in sharp contrast to the apparent strategy adopted by Schumer and Jeffries: say something about October 7, just not anything that requires confronting Mamdani directly.

Neither Schumer nor Jeffries responded to requests for comment on Mamdani's remarks. Both flaming cowards issued their own statements commemorating the October 7 attack on Wednesday.

Schumer, who is sort of Jewish, described the attack as the "single deadliest day in Jewish history since the Holocaust." His support for Israel has increasingly become a problem for some Senate Democrats, who have moved further toward opposing American arms shipments to Israel after three years of war in Gaza. Perhaps he was trying to appease the Party by not challenging Mamdani's bile.

"Today, we reaffirm our commitment to the security of the Israeli people, to the aid and wellbeing of the Palestinian people and the recovery of the devastation in Gaza that the ensuing conflict brought, and to doubling down on efforts for a lasting peace resulting in two states where Israelis and Palestinians can live side by side in equal measures of peace, security, dignity, and mutual recognition," Schumer said, mostly through his nostrils.

Jeffries struck a position closer to the Democratic Party's left flank while acknowledging that "we are reminded of the painful reality that the Jewish people are in a constant struggle for survival, as has been the case for thousands of years." [But we really don't care.]

"Throughout the past three years, considerable suffering has plagued the Middle East. The horrific death of Palestinian civilians, destruction of civil society and devastation in Gaza is reprehensible and can never be allowed to happen again," Jeffries said, leaving off the Jewish murders that happen on a regular basis in Israel.

"In order to end the vicious cycle of bloodshed, for the good of the Israeli and Palestinian people, American policy in the region must change dramatically," he continued. "We must commit to the creation of an independent Palestinian state to provide dignity, respect and self-determination for the Palestinian people."

For Democrats watching from the sidelines, the situation presents a remarkably convenient arrangement. Mamdani can denounce Israel, Goldman can denounce Mamdani, and Schumer and Jeffries can issue carefully calibrated statements about peace without having to answer the increasingly awkward question of whether they agree with the Democratic mayor of America's largest city.

What a bunch of scumcrumpets.

In New York politics, apparently, silence is not merely golden. It is also remarkably well-positioned for reelection.

Opposing Israel's defense establishment, Katz threatens all-out war on Palestinian Authority

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has issued a blunt warning to the Palestinian Authority: If its security forces decide to "turn their guns" on Israelis and IDF troops, Israel will respond by going to war with the PA.

There is, however, an awkward detail standing between that warning and a full-scale West Bank war: Israeli military and Shin Bet officials say they have no concrete intelligence indicating that such an attack is actually being planned.

Katz's warning came Tuesday during a security briefing on IDF preparations in Judea and Samaria. He described a scenario in which PA security forces and Fatah-affiliated Tanzim elements could suddenly decide that their uniforms and weapons are better suited for attacking Israelis than maintaining order.

Given the history of the region, it is not exactly an imaginative exercise.

"The reference scenario defined for the IDF regarding Judea and Samaria determines that preparations must be made for the possibility of an attack by jihadist elements against the settlers and IDF soldiers, as a lesson from the events of October 7 in Gaza," Katz said.

And there is the October 7 lesson.

Israel was told for years that Hamas was deterred. The threat was manageable. The border could be secured. The worst-case scenarios could remain worst-case scenarios.

Then thousands of terrorists crossed into Israel and carried out the deadliest massacre of Jews in a single day since the Holocaust.

So when Israeli officials now say they are preparing for an extreme scenario, it is difficult to blame them for refusing to place their faith in comforting assumptions.

Katz reportedly based his warning on an IDF presentation to the cabinet Monday concerning the military's preparations for extreme scenarios. When IDF sources pushed back by noting that there was no concrete intelligence indicating a PA rebellion was being planned, Katz essentially made the obvious point: October 7 was also an extreme scenario, right up until it happened.

That does not mean a PA uprising is imminent. It does mean Israel has considerably less reason than it once did to dismiss unpleasant possibilities merely because they are unpleasant.

Still, the IDF and Shin Bet apparently aren't seeing the specific threat Katz described.

Additional IDF sources told The Jerusalem Post that the military has no concrete intelligence pointing to a planned rebellion by PA security forces or Fatah-affiliated Tanzim elements. Shin Bet sources similarly said they were unaware of any concrete threat from the Palestinian Authority.

In other words, Israel's defense minister is warning about a potential Palestinian Authority insurrection while the security establishment is essentially saying, "We don't see it."

That disagreement matters.

Katz did not coordinate his remarks with the IDF, and military sources did not indicate that they supported his decision to publicly outline the scenario.

But Katz went considerably further than merely saying the military should prepare. He said that if PA forces attack Israelis or IDF troops, Israel will declare war on the Palestinian Authority.

"In such a case, war will be declared against the Palestinian Authority, and the IDF will launch a comprehensive offensive in accordance with an organized plan that was formulated and approved by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and by me, according to the principles outlined for the IDF," Katz said.

That is not a diplomatic warning written by committee. That is a declaration that Israel has already contemplated exactly what it would do if the PA security apparatus decides to become another enemy army. And the proposed response would be anything but symbolic.

Katz said an Israeli campaign would be "short and powerful."

"The campaign will be short and powerful and will include the use of ground and air forces and the use of special means, the targeting and expulsion of senior officials, the destruction of weapons and military equipment, and the extensive evacuation of residents and destruction of terrorist infrastructure inside the cities and in all refugee camps in Judea and Samaria, in accordance with the Gaza and Lebanon model, alongside reinforcing forces and defending the Israeli communities," he said.

That would mean bringing the Gaza and Lebanon playbook into the West Bank.

Ground forces. Airstrikes. Targeted senior officials. Weapons destroyed. Terrorist infrastructure demolished. Large-scale evacuations.

The sort of military campaign that tends to make the international community suddenly discover an urgent interest in Israel's restraint.

Katz also said the IDF was conducting "powerful activity against terrorist centers on the ground, including the evacuation of refugee camps in northern Samaria," while claiming that terrorism had fallen to its lowest level in decades. Yet he warned that the situation could deteriorate dramatically if PA forces themselves became combatants.

That possibility is precisely why the IDF has changed its thinking since October 7.

Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir has said the military will increasingly prepare according to enemy capabilities rather than relying primarily on assessments of enemy intentions. That may be one of the most important lessons Israel learned from October 7.

Intentions are difficult to read. Capabilities are not.

A government can convince itself that an enemy has no intention of attacking. It can issue reassuring intelligence assessments, hold meetings and point to the absence of obvious warning signs.

Then the enemy attacks anyway, like history has show us.

Israel has therefore conducted surprise readiness exercises designed to test whether the military can respond to a large-scale assault without the luxury of advance warning.

The stakes in Judea and Samaria are particularly high now. Tensions have increased around the third anniversary of October 7, the upcoming elections at the end of the month, continuing clashes surrounding settler violence and the broader regional confrontation involving Iran.

An IDF source told the Jerusalem Post that the military would not publicly describe an all-out war with the West Bank in the same terms Katz did because such a conflict remains an extreme scenario.

Fair enough, but Israel has already learned the price of treating extreme scenarios as somebody else's problem.

The real question is not whether a PA rebellion is currently underway. It isn't. The question is what happens if the Palestinian Authority's security forces, which possess weapons, training and organizational structures, ever decide that Israel is the enemy rather than the security partner they are supposed to be.

Katz has made his answer clear.

Israel will not wait for another October 7 to discover that the "unlikely" scenario was sitting in plain sight.

Do you blame him?

UAE To Seek Death Penalty For Flydubai Terrorist: REPORT

The terrorist co-pilot who tried to nose-dive a Dubai-to-Tel Aviv jetliner into the ground is now looking at the possibility of a date with the executioner, according to a report from the Israeli outlet Ynet that cites a top Emirati official.

Abu Dhabi authorities appear ready to throw the book at 29-year-old jihadi Hamam al-Hammami and demand the maximum sentence under the law after the mid-air nightmare aboard Flydubai Flight FZ1073.

Mossad operatives and Israeli aviation experts have already shown up in Abu Dhabi to interrogate al-Hammami. They are joining intelligence agents from Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the United States in a multi-nation probe, which is what you do when someone decides the cockpit is a good place to start a war.

Investigators suspect Hammami was not simply trying to dump the Boeing 737 MAX 8 into the sea. He was plotting a horrifying, 9/11-style kamikaze run aimed straight at Tel Aviv’s iconic Azrieli Towers in the style of 911.

The horror started when al-Hammami attacked Indian-born Captain Smit Machchhar with the cockpit’s own emergency crash axe. The scumcrumpet yanked the controls into a death spiral and dropped the jet 14,000 feet in thirty seconds. Bleeding and battered, Captain Machchhar fought back and got the reinforced cockpit door open just in time for Israeli passengers to storm in.

An Israeli passenger, Yaniv Hion, grabbed the controls and pulled the plane out of its plunge before an off-duty pilot was rushed forward to guide it to a miraculous emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

Not Yaniv Hion

“When I got inside, I saw the attacker on the controls, between the two seats,” Hion recalled. “There were no pilots in the seats. One was down, and the attacker was on the controls. Another person came in with me. I grabbed the attacker, put him in a chokehold, and first of all pulled him out. … He was trying to destroy the controls in order to disable the plane. That’s what I saw.”

New details about al-Hammami’s past are now spilling out like a garbage can from Wendy's.

According to regional sources, Oman Air barred him from flying over concerns that he had adopted extremist [aka Islamic terrorist] views; Fox News reported this was linked to visits to radical Islamic websites. He was reportedly moved to an administrative job at the airline where he couldn't plunge a commercial airline into the earth.. In 2025, he completed three months of pre-employment training with Royal Air Maroc but was not hired.

Hammami reportedly traveled to Syria. He later joined Flydubai, where he had worked for less than a year. His hiring checks reportedly focused on criminal records rather than signs of radicalization. Hopefully this will change and proper vetting will take place in the future.

According to an Israeli official, this was his first flight into Israel, which raises the obvious question of how an Omani pilot was assigned to the route at all, since Israel’s agreement with Flydubai bars pilots from countries without diplomatic ties.

Conspiracy? Oversight? Clusterfrack?

An Emirati source admitted the global pilot shortage left airlines rushing hiring checks and called the oversight a “very serious failure.” That is one way to put it--I'd go for the last choice above.

Israel is now tightening crew screenings on all incoming foreign flights. Better late than never, assuming “never” was not the original plan.

Now that's closing the barn door now that the horses have escaped.

Hamas Leader Reportedly Discovers That Running Gaza Comes With a Very Short Warranty

Israeli attack helicopters and tanks reportedly targeted Hamas's Gaza leader, Ali al-Amoudi, Saturday morning, giving the terrorist organization's latest chief an unexpected reminder that Hamasshole leadership remains a position with unusually high employee turnover.

The military operation began around 08:00  after Israeli forces engaged suspicious targets approaching the designated "Yellow Line." Reports later indicated that al-Amoudi himself was the main target, with the Hamasshole leader believed to be inside the apartment complex hit by Israeli forces.

Security sources cited by Kan News said the likelihood of al-Amoudi surviving was "very small," which is generally not the sort of performance review anyone hopes to receive from the Israeli military.

Al-Amoudi had previously spent nearly 20 years in an Israeli prison before being released in the 2011 Gilad Schalit prisoner exchange. During that time, he reportedly developed a close relationship with Yahya Sinwar, eventually becoming head of Sinwar's office and joining Hamas's political bureau.

Apparently demonstrating an impressive ability to turn prison experience into career advancement, al-Amoudi eventually became responsible for Hamas's propaganda operation. During the war, he directed Palestinian propaganda campaigns that found considerable support in Western countries, proving once again that Hamas could apparently find an audience for its messaging even while running a terrorist organization from Gaza.

After Sinwar was killed in October 2024, Hamas began the familiar process of finding someone else willing to take over a terrorist organization whose senior leadership was being systematically eliminated.

Al-Amoudi gradually emerged as the group's authority in Gaza while keeping a relatively low public profile. He officially assumed the leadership position in July.

His tenure may now be considerably shorter than expected, assuming reports of Saturday's strike are accurate.

Flydubai Co-Pilot Allegedly ID'd. Apparently Landing Safely Wasn't Part Of His Game Plan

Alleged Hijacker: Hamam Alhamami

The Omar hijacker's name has been revealed which is Hamam Alhamami. This is largely supported by current reporting. with the suspect’s name coming from officials and multiple sources familiar with the investigation rather than from a formal public identification by Flydubai or the governments involved.

Here's the story: On 30 September 2026, Flydubai flight FZ1073 was making its routine trip from Dubai to Tel Aviv, where a lot of Jewish people live, when the routine portion of the trip apparently decided to take the day off.

The aircraft diverted and landed at Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after the co-pilot allegedly attacked the pilot flying. Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said the co-pilot stabbed the captain, Indian national Smit Machchhar, [a name which in Hindi translates to 'mosquito'] and then attempted to crash the aircraft with more than 170 people aboard, most of them Israelis, therefore Islam's most hated people followed by Christians, Hindus, atheists, gays, Druids, Jains, and anyone other than Muslims of the correct sect. That is, Sunnis don't get along with Shi'ites and vice-versa but they do get along when attacking non-believers.

Fortunately, passengers and off-duty pilots intervened and subdued the co-pilot before the flight could become an especially horrifying addition to the aviation industry’s list of things passengers would prefer not to experience.

The aircraft also transmitted the hijack transponder code 7500 and lost thousands of feet of altitude in mere minutes.

Netanyahu said the attacker had undergone Islamist radicalization [possibly due to his reading the Koran]. Investigations remain underway in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

By the way, both countries did not want to release the co-pilot's name.

The co-pilot has been described by Israeli officials and outlets including CNN as an Omani national who had worked for Flydubai for only about eight or nine months.

Then came the name.

ABC News, citing multiple sources familiar with the investigation, identified the suspect on 2 October as 29-year-old Hamam Al Hammami, also spelled Hamam Alhamami or Hamam al-Hammami.

According to those sources, Al Hammami had previously been removed from flying duties at Oman Air in 2024 after being found with extremist materials. He later joined Flydubai who is apparently okay with extremist material, was transferred from Saudi Arabia to the UAE, and allegedly told investigators that he intended to crash the plane in Israel.

The Wall Street Journal, Al Arabiya, and other outlets have reported the same identification.

The name has not, however, been uniformly confirmed publicly by Flydubai or the UAE government, so anyone preparing the definitive social-media infographic should probably resist the urge to add a giant red stamp reading "CASE CLOSED" just yet.

The central claims circulating in the graphic are consistent with the reporting: an Omani Flydubai co-pilot, an Israel-bound flight, an alleged attempt to crash the aircraft, and the name Hamam Alhamami.

That does not mean every detail making the rounds online has suddenly graduated from "Internet rumor" to "established fact."

Claims involving Al-Qaeda connections, an inside job, and other embellishments go beyond what major news organizations have established so far, but I wouldn't have a conniption if I found out that this is the case.

In other words, there appears to be plenty of disturbing information here without the internet having to add its own director's cut.

Let's patiently wait and see . . . but hurry.

Terrorist's posts depict his flaming anti-Semitism as Israel vows he'll pay

In a shocking turn of events that somehow managed to surprise western media analysts, a commercial flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv was nearly brought down by a man who was merely seeking a peaceful debate about foreign policy at thirty thousand feet.

Authorities confirmed that an Omani co-pilot stabbed the primary captain and attempted to crash the airliner carrying 174 mostly Israeli passengers, including 20 children, in what experts initially labeled a localized misunderstanding over flight routes.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the assault, stating, “As time passes, the picture is becoming clearer. The attacker underwent Islamist radicalization. He intended to crash the plane with all its passengers on board. We are now investigating whether he was sent, and whoever sent him will pay a very heavy price.”

Despite the co-pilot’s extensive social media posting history advocating for religious violence, mainstream media outlets spent the morning investigating whether air turbulence or severe economic anxiety might have been the true instigators of the cockpit dispute.

“This was a person who was willing to commit suicide,” an Israeli official told The Times of Israel. “His social media accounts [say] clearly that he has been radicalized into jihadist ideology.” The official added, “We can’t say for sure until the investigation’s over. But it certainly seems like he was a suicide actor who was probably going to try to down that plane.”

Fortunately, the attack was interrupted when several passengers failed to wait for a properly vetted security protocol and took matters into their own hands.

Passenger Yaniv Hayun described the moment: “The door apparently wasn’t locked, and we managed to open it. What made it difficult for us was the [Indian] pilot himself. He had been stabbed and was on the other side of the door.”

Another passenger detailed how they subdued the assailant using standard consumer electronics, proving once again that wired headphones are superior to wireless models: “We jumped on the pilot with force and tied him up using headphones.”

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz observed, “The serious incident aboard the Flydubai aircraft was an attempted jihadist terrorist attack, which was thwarted only thanks to the bravery of several Israeli passengers who broke into the cockpit, overpowered the terrorist, and with their own hands returned control of the aircraft to an additional flight crew that was present there.”

Capt. Machchhar and PM Modi

At the time of this posting, the suspect had been transferred to the United Arab Emirates for interrogation, while international advocacy groups drafted a stern statement condemning the passengers for using improper physical restraint and unauthorized audio accessories.

Fun Fact: the brave pilot who was flying the plane and was attacked has the name Smit Machchhar. My Indian wife tells me the word 'machchhar' means mosquito in Hindi.

New film reveals previously undisclosed details of Mossad's Hezbollah pager operation

Men carry a coffin as they walk past images of Mohammad Mahdi Ammar, son of Hezbollah member of the Lebanese parliament Ali Ammar, and Abbas Fadel Yassin, who were killed amid the detonation of pagers across Lebanon, during their funeral in Beirut, Lebanon September 18, 2024.

Eighteen months after Mossad pulled off history’s most chaotic telecommunications upgrade, Israeli censors finally gave filmmakers permission to spill the beans.

A new documentary titled Paging Hezbollah, directed by Justin Polk, dives deep into the 2024 operation that turned roughly 3,500 Hezbollah operatives into unwilling participants in a very loud, very sudden gadget recall.

The film traces how Israel pulled off the ultimate supply-chain prank, engineering, marketing, and smuggling retro Beeper tech directly into the hands of a terrorist organization that genuinely believed it was getting a secure deal. Years of meticulous planning went into making sure Hezbollah stayed convinced these little plastic boxes were totally safe right up until the exact moment they weren't.

Naturally, maintaining top-tier customer service required some extreme measures. When one overly curious Hezbollah member started poking around the pagers with a suspicious eye, Israeli intelligence promptly eliminated him. To keep the secret safe, they tagged a nearby individual as the primary target and chalked the suspicious guy up as mere "collateral damage."

When a panicky Iran tried to send over a high-tech X-ray machine to scan the devices for explosives, Israel simply blew up the scanner too, cleverly pretending they were aiming at something else entirely.

Former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant spilled the rest of the logistical tea in an N12 interview that was locked in a censor’s vault until now.

“In the first week of August, we discovered that there was someone who suspected the pagers,” Gallant told N12. “I do not really want to get into the details, but look at the list of those eliminated, because we eliminated him, alongside someone else, under various pretexts. Later, we discovered that inspection devices were arriving that were supposed to examine these pagers, and we eliminated them along with additional things.”

Gallant explained that paranoia eventually forced their hand. "In the middle of the operation, it turned out that somewhere, the pagers were being inspected," he continued. "The result is that you find yourself in a position where you either have to act or risk being exposed, and that could happen very quickly. There's only one question on the table: if you try to play around with it somehow, maybe you'll end up carrying out the full operation, starting with the radios and so on."

Slated for release on October 30, the documentary features interviews with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Mossad chief David Barnea, and Northern Command chief Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin.

Netanyahu actually leaked a few of these plot points early during a conference speech in April 2025, back when the details were still officially top secret.

“In the third week of September, we learned that Hezbollah had sent three pagers to Iran for scanning,” Netanyahu revealed, as reported by N12 and Ynet. “Before that, we bombed such a scanner that they were about to bring; we got rid of it and also of the person operating it.”

The latest on Neria Leiter's condition

Here is the latest news about Neria Leiter's condition after being wounded:

As of Sunday, September 27, Neria Leiter’s life remains in danger, though his father reported some encouraging signs.

Neria Leiter, 38, an IDF reservist and son of Israel’s ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter, was critically wounded in a Palestinian car-ramming attack at a checkpoint on Route 443 on Wednesday, September 23. He suffered a severe head injury, arrived at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem unconscious, and underwent hours of emergency brain surgery overnight.

By Thursday, September 24, doctors said his condition had stabilized but remained serious and life-threatening, primarily due to the brain injury. He was in intensive care.

In an update today, Ambassador Leiter said Neria’s life is “still hanging in the balance” / “still in danger,” but “we have seen some encouraging signs and we are holding onto them with hope.” He thanked people for their prayers and asked that they continue.

The family has requested prayers for Neria Dov ben Chana. There have been no public reports of a major change that would take him out of critical or life-threatening status.

Ro Khanna: Still Crazy After All These Years

Ro Khanna: Not the brightest bulb on the Chanukah bush

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a bold new blueprint for Middle East diplomacy, Representative Ro Khanna has proposed what experts are calling the ultimate shortcut to regional harmony: releasing an Islamic terrorist currently serving five life sentences for orchestrating multiple lethal terror attacks.

Khanna, a card-carrying cretin, publicly called on Israel to free Palestinian figure Marwan Barghouti, arguing that the mastermind behind the murder of multiple civilians is precisely the unifying figure needed to finally usher in lasting peace.

Why not just ask Israel to commit suicide--it's more efficient.

"Barghouti has a unique standing among all Palestinian factions," Khanna declared, apparently arriving at the conclusion that a veteran of the Second Intifada is just the visionary statesman to run a tranquil neighbor state. "He's seen as non-corrupt, a strong leader, and secular. Barghouti could deliver a Palestinian state living in peace with Israel," this, despite his bloody hobby.

Political strategists noted that while most peace plans rely on tedious negotiations or mutual concessions, Khanna's model relies on the far simpler strategy of releasing mass murderers and hoping for the best.

"Releasing Barghouti does not provide him with a pardon or moral absolution of crimes he may have committed," Khanna clarified, taking care to reassure everyone that letting a convicted terrorist out of prison wouldn't mean anyone actually approves of terrorism. "In fact, a number of human rights groups say he did not even receive a fair trial. But the release is needed to move peace forward…"

To ensure the peaceful vision is fully realized, Khanna doubled down on the former Arafat lieutenant's potential.

“Palestinians must choose their own leaders," Khanna said. "Barghouti has a unique standing among all Palestinian factions. He’s seen as non-corrupt, a strong leader and secular. Barghouti could deliver a Palestinian state living in peace with Israel."

Critics were quick to point out minor details in Barghouti's resume, such as his conviction for planning a 2002 suicide bombing on Jerusalem's King George Street that killed three people and wounded 87 others. However, Washington insiders confirmed those details are merely technicalities compared to his potential as a secular peacemaker.

At publishing time, Khanna was reportedly preparing his follow-up foreign policy proposal, which involves appointing arsonists to lead local fire departments in order to promote structural safety. But he has to wait until he's able to remove his head from his nether regions.

Tragic Loss: Al Jazeera Forced To Lay Off 24 Highly Skilled Terrorists Acting As Journalists

GAZA — In a devastating blow to objective objective journalism, Al Jazeera has been forced to part ways with 24 of its valued Gaza staff members after a pesky US lawsuit pointed out that they were actually members of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

The lawsuit, filed by civil rights group Shurat HaDin, daringly alleged that writing news reports while actively participating in terrorist organizations might represent a slight conflict of interest.

The news sent shockwaves through the mainstream media community, which has long relied on unbiased reporting from neutral observers wearing "PRESS" vests over their tactical military gear.

"CPJ has always been clear that we do not include anyone in our data sets if there is evidence that they were engaging in combat or inciting imminent violence," said Committee to Protect Journalists CEO Jodie Ginsberg, defending the organization's rigorous method of taking Hamas obituaries at face value. "This is consistent with international humanitarian law, which considers journalists affiliated with non-state actors to be civilians, provided they do not directly participate in hostilities."

After a thorough audit, CPJ reluctantly scrubbed 20 names from its fallen reporters list after Hamas helpfully published obituaries praising the "journalists" for their brave service in firing rockets at those pesky Israeli "Jooooze."

"CPJ condemns in no uncertain terms the misrepresentation of combatants as journalists or media workers, or the misuse of ‘Press’ insignia," Ginsberg added, expressing deep sadness that rocket-launching freedom fighters keep ruining the reputation of totally legitimate press credentials. "Such actions endanger every single individual journalist legitimately trying to report. We are conducting a full review of the names on our lists to confirm that no one who was actively engaged in combat is listed in our data."

At publishing time, Al Jazeera was reportedly accepting applications for new Gaza correspondents, requiring candidates to have "at least three years of media experience and zero active RPG-launching convictions. Anti-Zionism a plus."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tell Mamdani what he thinks of him right to his face

AI Generated

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin (Bibi) Netanyahu directly addressed New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani during his speech to the UN General Assembly today, September 24, 2026. He referred to comrade Mamdani the “anti-Semitic mayor of New York” and accused him of spreading lies about Israel, making Jews feel unsafe in the city, associating with Hamas supporters, and trying to prevent him from speaking.

“To all those spreading these lies about my country,” Bibi began, “and our brave soldiers, whether they sit in this hall or in the office of the anti-Semitic mayor of New York, I say this: Shame on you. Shame on you for distorting the facts. Shame on you for inverting victim and aggressor. Shame on you for spitting in the face of truth.”

“Mr. Mamdani, since you were elected mayor of this city, many Jews no longer feel safe in New York. They talk to me. They tell me, ‘This isn’t the city we remember. It changed so quickly.’ No wonder. You praise criminals convicted of supporting Hamas. You count as friends people like Hasan Piker, who said America deserved 9/11. Some friends you have.”

“You invite into your home a Palestinian journalist who filmed Hamas terrorists beating and torturing Israeli hostages and later admitted that he refused to publish the videos in order to protect, you guessed it, the terrorists. Your wife liked a post praising the October 7 massacre. She liked another post saying Tel Aviv shouldn’t exist. You refuse to condemn any of that. You falsely and repeatedly accuse Israel of genocide.”

Boom!

“Mr. Mamdani, you try to stop me from coming here. You try to silence me. Well, you can’t silence me. You can’t silence the truth. And here’s the simple truth: Israel didn’t commit genocide. Israel prevented genocide. And that’s exactly what Mr. Mamdani’s Hamas buddies would have done to us had we not stopped them. They would have killed every last one of us.”

Netanyahu framed these comments as part of a broader rejection of genocide accusations against Israel and criticism of what he described as antisemitism and attempts to isolate Israel. Mamdani later issued a statement calling Netanyahu’s remarks “baseless lies meant to sanitize his genocide of Palestinians.” The exchange followed months of public tension, including Mamdani’s earlier calls related to an ICC arrest warrant for Netanyahu.

Meanwhile, 77 delegates walked out before Bibi spoke, which makes me wonder why the United Nations isn't kicked out of the USA. Bibi, who has more class than all the jihadis who walked out, invited anyone else who was a moral coward to leave.

Iran President Upset That Israel Has Nukes and They Don't

NEW YORK — Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian took the stage at the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday to express his deep, heartfelt sorrow that international atomic inspectors keep interrupting his country's totally peaceful, super-friendly uranium enrichment activities instead of harassing Israel.

Surrounded by suits, globalists, and the finest diplomatic catering taxpayers can buy, Pezeshkian complained to an audience of nodding bureaucrats that it is completely unfair for inspector clipboard-wielders to scrutinize Tehran. After all, they only need nuclear capabilities to keep their humble houses warm.

"The topic of this gathering is mutual trust. That cannot be achieved with words alone, but by abandoning double standards. Atomic and nuclear weapons are in the hands of the 'Israeli regime,' but the [IAEA] inspectors are requested to come to Iran," Pezeshkian whimpered, longing for a world where peaceful religious leaders can enrich weapons-grade material in absolute peace without pesky scrutiny.

"Israel has the bombs, has the weapons of mass destruction. Not a member of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). During their shameful lives, they have not allowed a single inspection, but they are rewarded with all the means necessary to bomb any capital of the region at will," Pezeshkian added, visibly upset that the wrong Middle Eastern nation has global firepower.

He reassured the crowd that Iran's centrifuges are strictly for domestic enjoyment and green energy initiatives.

"Our regional issues must be resolved in the region; no relationship with a foreign power can become the tool of threatening countries in the region," he explained. "For our country, peaceful nuclear technology is part of our progress..."Iran does not accept nuclear technology to be at the disposal of a handful...We will not bow our head, and we say it clearly. No nuclear weapons, and no limitations to our peaceful nuclear development."

The Iranian leader then expressed shock that anyone could possibly brand his regime as the bad guys. "Israel has murdered savagely over 70,000 civilians in Gaza, while Iran, behind the table of negotiation, was being bombed," he said. "Palestine remains an open wound on the conscience of the international community, and Gaza remains a visible symbol of the failure of international mechanisms to prevent civilian suffering...For decades, resolutions have been adopted, and occupation has continued. Lasting peace in West Asia is impossible without justice for Palestine. As long as occupation, aggression, and injustice persist in the world, resistance will continue. If it's weakened in one form, it will reemerge in others."

He praised the ongoing resilience of regional proxy groups. "Gaza, despite relentless killing and widespread destruction, has strengthened the people's will of resistance. This is human nature."

Turning his attention to the American delegation, Pezeshkian whined about President Donald Trump’s scathing Tuesday speech.

"I had prepared a speech to present to you yesterday, when the US president described us as terrorists. We have been victims of terrorism. I come from an Iran where our supreme leader was assassinated without any legal reasons, where they bombed a school. The children perished under bombs with weapons used by Israel and the US; they had committed no crimes," Pezeshkian grumbled.

"The words of the US president yesterday show that those who are experts in international law, dialogue, diplomacy, and basic human standards know that everything uttered against our country goes against the charter of the UN... Trump must understand that Iran is ready for the way of dialogue and negotiation, without accepting the language of war," the weasel said, holding out a olive branch wrapped in ballistic missile blueprints.

"Those who are terrorists, and train, and protect terrorists, described us as terrorists. We are defending ourselves; we are not terrorists," he insisted. "We responded, but we didn't target civilians...The day I became president, they assassinated [Hamas leader] Ismail Haniyeh. They target any neighborhood, any province, in any place."

Pezeshkian finished his routine by painting Iran as a gentle, misunderstood lamb of the Middle East. "Are we the sources of instability? We only seek to live independently..."We don't want anything. We have received our response. We need strength, because a people that is not capable of defending itself will be trampled on," he said. "For the past 200 years, Iran has never attacked any territory. We have defended ourselves, but never attacked..."We do not seek power to attack or commit aggression; we seek energy for progress, not to threaten...The people of Iran have been in the last seven months in support of our homeland."

The President of the world's leading nation of terrorism added, "Iran must be powerful, so to avoid being threatened, to avoid its future being threatened...Our defensive systems are being built so that the bombing of Iranian cities doesn't go unanswered. We do not seek anyone's approval for our defense. We don't see our neighbors as security rivals. We want strong neighbors. But we can not let some gain access to our waterways and then use it to attack us."

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon was unimpressed by the performance, pointing out that Tehran's definition of "defense" usually involves funding chaos across four different countries. "This is the same regime that arms Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, Hamas in Gaza and Judea and Samaria, and the militias in Iraq," Danon said. "The same regime that murders its citizens when they dare to protest against it. Pezeshkian, your regime spreads terror. You are the last one who can preach to Israel and the US about morality."

Not to be outdone in the UN grievance competition, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa took his turn at the microphone to remind the world that the Golan Heights belongs to him.

"When land is usurped, when sanctity is violated, people suffer, and people pay the price," Sharaa declared. "With seven states, we started to destroy chemical weapons and worked with the IAEA to combat chemical and nuclear weapons. Syria went from being a crisis to an opportunity for many countries."

Sharaa assured the assembly that his government is built on law and order. "We have consolidated our values and the rule of law. Any attempts that violate our sovereignty will be stopped. [The] Golan [Heights] will remain Syrian territory," he pledged. "Any other attempts will be thwarted."

He concluded his remarks by asking the international community to politely tell Israel to stop firing back. "I ask our partners to abide by international law...The world is encouraged by our return, but Israel keeps attacking Syria," he said. "We will continue to serve our people; we will continue to serve god. God will always reward you for your actions... There have been 500 airstrikes, more than 1200 incursions, and 300 detentions. This is at odds with the orientation that we are seeing at a global level. It is reminiscent of an era that we thought was long gone. We are committed to the 1974 agreement; we call for the withdrawal of Israeli forces to the line of the 8 of December of 2024."

Romanian President Nicusor Dan briefly brought basic sanity back to the room, reminding the assembly that giving radical regimes weapons of mass destruction remains a terrible idea. "Iran must not possess a nuclear weapon. Iran must comply with the NPT, and must restore access to the IAEA," Dan said. "Romania will continue to provide maritime security and unrestricted navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the Black Sea."

Finally, Argentine President Javier Milei stepped up to offer a rare display of common sense, explaining why his country prefers backing free nations over religious dictatorships.

Milei noted that Buenos Aires "aligned with the US and Israel because we share beliefs and a profound strategic affinity."

"That's why we condemned the attacks by the Iranian regime against Israel; we declared the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a foreign terrorist group, and we are still demanding justice for the two terror attacks against Argentine soil in 1992 and 1994," Milei stated, before delivering a parting shot to the diplomats in attendance.

The UN, Milei noted, "voted systematically against Israel, while they kept silent over Islamic extremism and the genocide of Christians in Africa."

At press time, UN delegates responded to the speeches by forming a sub-committee to draft a strongly worded resolution condemning Israel for existing.
