WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a bold new blueprint for Middle East diplomacy, Representative Ro Khanna has proposed what experts are calling the ultimate shortcut to regional harmony: releasing an Islamic terrorist currently serving five life sentences for orchestrating multiple lethal terror attacks.

Khanna, a card-carrying cretin, publicly called on Israel to free Palestinian figure Marwan Barghouti, arguing that the mastermind behind the murder of multiple civilians is precisely the unifying figure needed to finally usher in lasting peace. 

Why not just ask Israel to commit suicide--it's more efficient.

"Barghouti has a unique standing among all Palestinian factions," Khanna declared, apparently arriving at the conclusion that a veteran of the Second Intifada is just the visionary statesman to run a tranquil neighbor state. "He's seen as non-corrupt, a strong leader, and secular. Barghouti could deliver a Palestinian state living in peace with Israel," this, despite his bloody hobby.

Political strategists noted that while most peace plans rely on tedious negotiations or mutual concessions, Khanna's model relies on the far simpler strategy of releasing mass murderers and hoping for the best.

"Releasing Barghouti does not provide him with a pardon or moral absolution of crimes he may have committed," Khanna clarified, taking care to reassure everyone that letting a convicted terrorist out of prison wouldn't mean anyone actually approves of terrorism. "In fact, a number of human rights groups say he did not even receive a fair trial. But the release is needed to move peace forward…"

To ensure the peaceful vision is fully realized, Khanna doubled down on the former Arafat lieutenant's potential.

“Palestinians must choose their own leaders," Khanna said. "Barghouti has a unique standing among all Palestinian factions. He’s seen as non-corrupt, a strong leader and secular. Barghouti could deliver a Palestinian state living in peace with Israel."

Critics were quick to point out minor details in Barghouti's resume, such as his conviction for planning a 2002 suicide bombing on Jerusalem's King George Street that killed three people and wounded 87 others. However, Washington insiders confirmed those details are merely technicalities compared to his potential as a secular peacemaker.

At publishing time, Khanna was reportedly preparing his follow-up foreign policy proposal, which involves appointing arsonists to lead local fire departments in order to promote structural safety. But he has to wait until he's able to remove his head from his nether regions.

Ro Khanna pulls a Greta Thunberg with his camera crew and NY Times "reporter"

Last Wednesday California Democrat Ro Khanna took a page from the Greta Thunberg coloring book and arranged his own capture. This time the villains were not the Taliban but Israeli settlers in the West Bank, as if that was a real thing.

The leftist congressman, probably wearing facial makeup, wandered down a road closed to civilians. He had a camera crew and New York Times reporter in tow, creating the ideal conditions for a political stunt that collapsed faster than a Karen having 'the vapors.'

Khanna had skipped meetings with October 7 survivors and passed on any briefing about Israel’s actual border threats. He was far too busy chasing a dramatic capture in what he hoped would be some violent event.

When the footage finally dropped the so-called hostage video turned out to be as calm as Hindu cows.

The obvious goal was to gin up anti-Israel hatred at home and float a 2028 presidential bid. Behold the circus.

Even New Jersey Democratic Rep. Josh Gottheimer called him out: "Let’s be honest, this was a publicity stunt. NJ Dem congressional candidate has a history you wouldn't believe, or maybe you would

Adam Hamawy, running to represent the state’s 12th district, told prosecutors he had a years-long relationship with the so called cleric whose followers carried out the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Hamawy is a New Jersey reconstructive surgeon, U.S. Army veteran who served as a combat trauma surgeon in Iraq, and now a Democratic candidate for Congress in NJ-12 to replace the retiring Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman. He shot to prominence by volunteering as a doctor in Gaza in 2024 at the European Hospital in Khan Younis, where he got briefly trapped after the Rafah crossing shut down.

The guy has racked up endorsements from all the usual suspects: Justice Democrats, CAIR Action, PAL PAC, Senator Comrade Bernie Sanders, Rep. Ro Khanna, and the rest of the pro-Palestine progressive crowd. His platform is the standard leftist greatest hits: Medicare for All, ending U.S. funding for Israel's military actions, and the ever-so-clever slogan "healthcare not bombs."

The real fireworks, as always with these candidates, center on his blistering criticism of Israel amid the Israel-Hamas war. Hamawy popped up on streamer Hasan Piker's show and came out swinging against U.S. funding for Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system. He argued it "insulates Israel from having to make decisions to make peace" and "isolates them from having to deal with the consequences," likening it to "giving a bully body armor." He backed a full arms embargo on Israel and insisted that Israelis need to "feel the effects of war" to get serious about peace.

That did not sit well with fellow progressive Democrat Sue Altman in the same primary. Altman accused him of "cheerleading and wishing for the deaths of Israeli children" and said she draws the line at rhetoric that seems to treat more Israeli civilian deaths as some kind of goal.

Hamawy's supporters immediately cried smear and Islamophobia, pointing to his humanitarian record (including saving Sen. Tammy Duckworth's life in Iraq). Altman eventually issued an apology (though it was apparently unwritten), which Hamawy graciously accepted. Critics, however, figured the damage from the inflammatory exchange was already done.

During and after his Gaza stint, Hamawy insisted he saw no weapons, no military presence, and "definitely no tunnels" under the European Hospital or places like Nasser. He described it as a purely civilian facility treating mostly civilians, many of them children, in the middle of the devastation. Later reports about Hamas command centers and tunnels under or near the hospital (including the strike that took out Mohammed Sinwar in a tunnel beneath it) led critics to call him naive, in denial, or worse. Hamawy and his backers stand by his firsthand medical observations and dismiss the rest.

A shiny new Super PAC called American Priorities (or PAL PAC) is dumping serious cash, around $2 million, to boost him as a counter to pro-Israel money in the race. There is also some past testimony linked to the "Blind Sheikh" from the 1993 World Trade Center bombing that conservative outlets have dusted off. His strong progressive bona fides get him cheers from the Sanders wing and eye rolls from everyone else who thinks his Israel rhetoric veers into antisemitism territory or puts civilians at risk.

Hamawy likes to frame it all as principled opposition to U.S.-funded wars and military aid overseas while focusing on domestic priorities like healthcare. To his fans he is a heroic humanitarian. To his detractors he is another example of the Democratic Party's lurch into territory that endangers allies and excuses terrorists. The NJ-12 primary remains a messy fight between the pro-Israel and anti-Israel factions as of early May 2026. IN Rep. Andre Carson supports Hamas by his refusal to condemn them

Rep[ulsive] Andre Carson (D-IN) has been unable or unwilling to answer questions on Thursday asking if he agreed with Hamas being designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) by the State Department on October 8, 1997.

The 49-year-old Muslim was walking toward his vehicle with Jew hating antisemites Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI); Cori Bush, (D-MO); Ilhan Omar (D-MN); Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). Ro Khanna (D-CA) who isn't known to be an anti-semite but also not a genius, was also with the group. 

A reporter with the Daily Caller News Foundation approached Carson with a question.

"Congressman, do you agree with the State Department’s designation of Hamas as a terrorist organization," the reporter asked.

"Well, I certainly feel like now is the time for us to really talk about the establishment of a proper state for the people of Palestine," Carson said as he continued tap dancing toward his ride. "This cannot continue. These useless and destructive resolutions cannot continue to go on to gain political points. As I’ve said before, I condemn the attack on Oct. 7, but we cannot bully our way into this."

After continuing with his tap dance around the question, the reporter pressed Carson again, asking whether he agreed or disagreed with the State Department’s designation.

"I agree with the majority of the American people," Carson told the Daily Caller reporter. "I think that antisemitism needs to be condemned. I think that Islamophobia needs to be condemned. I certainly think anti-blackness needs to be condemned, and I certainly think that this is the time for us to look at our disagreements, look at the critiques on both sides, extract the truths from those critiques and work together toward a workable solution, because I fear in 2024, this issue will impact elections."

There you go--the answer that pro-Hamassholes love to give. Dilute, confuse, and spout moral equivalence and give an answer that skirts the question altogether.

Of course Hamas is a terrorist organization. My 3-year-old child knows the answer to that one and I don't even have a 3-year-old child.
