Seriously: Iran nominated to head UN terrorism prevention group

The United Nations is the single worst enabler of human rights abuses in the world, even as it claims to protect human rights.

As UN Watch reports, the United Nations continues elevating Iran, China and other human rights abusers to leading positions in shaping and determining human rights findings and enforcement.And Iran, the world's greatest state sponsor of terrorism, in particular will be in a position to shape policy on terrorism prevention.

On Wednesday, the UN's 54-nation Economic and Social Council nominated the Islamic Republic of Iran to the UN's Committee for Program and Coordination, which meets next month to shape policy on women's rights, human rights, disarmament, and terrorism prevention.
ECOSOC's nomination is effectively decisive, as the UN General Assembly customarily rubber-stamps such nominations without a vote.

In addition, ECOSOC by acclamation elected China, Cuba, Nicaragua, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan to the influential Committee on NGOs, which oversees the work, accreditation and UN access of thousands of human rights and civil society groups that enjoy consultative status at the world body.

The United States was the only ECOSOC member to object, saying that Iran, Cuba and Nicaragua were "unfit."

Henhouse, meet fox. The UN can't counter terrorism becomes the terrorism is coming from inside the house. The UN is the problem. And the sooner we get rid of it, the better.

Canadian PM Carney moves to give Hamas a win in the war against all Jews, starting with Israel

Prime Minister Mark Carney has declared that Canada now recognizes the State of Palestine, a move dressed up in the lofty rhetoric of "self-determination" and "human rights," as if such platitudes could paper over the blood-soaked realities of the Middle East. 

In a statement, which at best can be described as naive, released Sunday, Carney pledged Canada's support for building a "peaceful future" for both Palestine and Israel, invoking the United Nations Charter with the earnestness of a schoolboy reciting a civics lesson. Yet he admitted, with a rare flicker of candor, that this gesture is no magic bullet. 

"Recognising the State of Palestine, led by the Palestinian Authority, empowers those who seek peaceful coexistence and the end of Hamas. This in no way legitimizes terrorism, nor is it any reward for it," he insisted, as though words alone could exorcise the specter of Hamas's horrific barbarism.

Let's be clear: this is a decision steeped in the kind of moral confusion that thrives in the air-conditioned halls of Ottawa. Carney would have us believe that this recognition "in no way compromises Canada's steadfast support for the State of Israel," a state whose security, he concedes, hinges on a "comprehensive two-state solution," an offer refused by the Palestinian Authority and Hamas many times over.

But what is this two-state solution, endlessly invoked like a diplomatic mantra? For years, Canada maintained that recognition of Palestine would come only at the end of negotiations between Palestinian and Israeli leaders. Now, with Hamas's "pervasive threat of terrorism," [read: genocide] Israel's settlements in the West Bank, and what Carney calls "the Israeli government's contribution to the humanitarian disaster in Gaza," that possibility has been "steadily and gravely eroded." 

So, Canada’s response is to reward the Palestinian Authority, a body that has repeatedly shown itself incapable of governing without corruption or complicity in violence, with the laurel of statehood. You know the PA--they have a 'pay to slay' policy that rewards jihadis for killing Jews. If they die in the process, their families collect the blood money.

Carney frames this as part of a "co-ordinated international effort" to preserve the two-state dream, joined by the likes of the United Kingdom and Australia, with more expected to follow at the United Nations General Assembly’s 80th session in New York. One can almost hear the clinking of champagne glasses at this display of multilateral virtue. 

Yet the move has provoked predictable outrage. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio called it a boon to Hamas, the scumcrumpets responsible for the October 7, 2023, atrocities, arguing it complicates ceasefire talks and hostage releases. 

Jewish organizations in Canada were no less scathing. The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs correctly condemned the decision as "a reward for the October 7 terror attacks." The Association of Families of Canadian citizens murdered by Hamas spoke of "profound grief and outrage," declaring, "Over 700 days ago our loved ones were slaughtered by Hamas, an organization which still controls Gaza, still holds hostages, and still calls for the destruction of Israel. To reward this climate of terror with recognition is not just reckless; it is a betrayal, and kindizes (sic) the lives of hostages still being held in the tunnels of Gaza." B’nai Brith Canada went further, lamenting that Canada has abandoned its legacy of "standing up for what is principled and just." Richard Robertson, their Director of Research and Advocacy, put it bluntly: "The [Palestinian Authority] has shown, time and again, that it cannot be trusted."

And yet, there are those who applaud this diplomatic sleight of hand. The oxymoronically named Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East hailed it as a "real policy victory," though they predictably called for more. One wonders what more they could want; perhaps a ticker-tape parade for Mahmoud Abbas? 

Carney's July announcement promised recognition contingent on the Palestinian Authority meeting certain conditions, including an election in 2026 from which Hamas would be barred. Senior officials, hiding behind anonymity, claim the PA has "doubled down" on these commitments. But forgive the skepticism: the Palestinian Authority, led by the Fatah party, controls only parts of the West Bank, while Hamas rules Gaza with an iron fist, having violently expelled Fatah in 2007. Hamas's response to this diplomatic charade? A flat declaration that it "will not recognize Israel." How consistent and very reassuring.

The broader international context only deepens the absurdity. More than 145 countries already recognize Palestine, and France, Belgium, and Portugal are poised to join the chorus at the UN. This is symbolism masquerading as statecraft, a gesture that will likely provoke the Trump administration, which has already shown its displeasure. President Trump, responding to Carney's initial announcement in July, warned that Canada's move could jeopardize trade deals, promptly slapping 35 percent tariffs on Canadian goods (mercifully, those compliant with the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement are exempt). The U.S. also vetoed a UN Security Council resolution last week demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and hostage releases, citing its failure to sufficiently condemn Hamas. Meanwhile, after Rubio revoked visas for Abbas and 80 other Palestinian officials, the UN General Assembly allowed Abbas to address them by video—a fitting metaphor for a leadership that exists more in rhetoric than reality.

Carney's government insists it has been in "regular communication" with Israeli diplomats, though the Prime Minister has never spoken with Benjamin Netanyahu, whose government remains adamantly opposed to a two-state solution. 

Perhaps they couldn't find a time slot between Netanyahu's battles against Hamas and Hezbollah. The Conservative Party of Canada, sensing a political opening, dismissed Carney's move as a distraction from domestic woes, reaffirming their support for "Israel’s right to exist and defend itself, living next to a future demilitarized, terror-free, democratic and peaceful Palestinian State." A noble sentiment, but one wonders how such a state could emerge from the current morass.

In the end, Carney's decision is a triumph of bull pucks over substance, a nod to the progressive pieties of the international community while ignoring the grim realities on the ground. It is the kind of move that feels good in the moment but risks emboldening those who thrive on chaos. As the families of Hamas's victims so poignantly said, "By recognizing a Palestinian state today, Prime Minister Carney emboldens Hamas, legitimizes their barbarism, and sends a devastating message to terror victims everywhere: that their suffering can be brushed aside for political theatre." 

One could not put it better. Canada, once a beacon of moral clarity, now seems content to play the fool in the theater of global diplomacy. It's a good thing that President Trump is keeping the tariff in place with Canada.

President Trump will end funding to terrorist organization UNRWA

No more pencils no more books, no more teachers terrorist looks. President Donald Trump will no longer have the United States fund UNRWA because they are a terrorist organization so it's a bad idea to send them American taxpayer money since it goes to Hamas and many of the UNRWA members are terrorists themselves.

The United Nations used to be a decent organization that "Saved the Children" could count on, but now the UN has departments like the UN General Assembly and the UN Security Council that consistently votes against the US and Israel. In fact, the UN has become more like a UIN or United Islamic Nations as they consistently vote against Israel's interests and right to defend herself. Of the 103 UN nation members, 49 of them are Muslim-majority nations.

President Trump, on his first day in office, signed an executive order to halt U.S. dollars to UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East). This is part of a broader initiative to align U.S. foreign assistance with his policy goals, which are the same goals as the majority of Americans.

Trump is effectively stopping new foreign aid unless it benefits U.S. interests and cuts off money to groups linked to terrorism or other anti-American agendas.

The UN is like the legacy media: a relic that has outlived its usefulness. These institutions are both hanging on, but it seems like it's only a matter of time when we no longer will be getting our filtered news from the mainstream media and the UN will no longer be considered relevant.

Think of all the parking spaces that would then be available in Manhattan when the diplomats are gone.

The UN is no longer about peace and is now about anti-Zionism, which is a fancy way of saying Jew hatred.

Confirmed: Hassan Nasrallah has been killed

Ding dong the dude is dead along with several others who were meeting with him to discuss how to destroy Israel. Instead, the Israel Defense Force put a crimp in their plans and dropped a mother of a bomb on Hezbollah headquarters in an airstrike on Friday.

IDF Chief of the General Staff, Lft. Herzi Halevi said about the killing of Nasrallah, "This is not the end of our toolbox. The message is simple, anyone who threatens the citizens of Israel - We will know how to reach them."

The Israel Air Force (IAF) struck Iran-sponsored terror proxy's headquarters in southern Beirut and said that they had intentionally targeted Hassan Nasrallah. Initially, a Hezbollah media relations terrorist claimed Nasrallah was "fine and well." However, Israel confirmed his demise early Saturday morning.

Along with the "Head Honcho of Hate," were at the very least, two others killed and scores wounded, Lebanon's health ministry said.

On Friday, United States' useless Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin told reporters, "The United States was not involved in Israel’s operation," noting there was "no advance warning," from the Israelis. He said this in order to avoid any trouble the strike might have caused the country.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (Bibi) was in New York where he addressed the scum at the UN General Assembly who support Hezbollah, Hamas and any Islamic group or nation that hates Jews. He warned Hezbollah about Israel's right to go on the offensive before its enemies strike.

"As long as Hezbollah chooses the path of war, Israel has no choice, and Israel has every right to remove this threat and return our citizens to their home safely and that's exactly what we're doing," Bibi said.

After his speech the prime minister’s office released a picture showing the Israeli leader in his New York hotel approving the operation against the terror chief--it was glorious in its power.

Rich Goldberg, a senior adviser at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told Fox News Digital that Nasrallah’s death would prove a significant victory for Israel due to his close ties to Tehran.

"People don't appreciate that Nasrallah took over for Soleimani as senior strategist for Khamenei," Goldberg explained.

"The calculus that led to that decision hasn't changed," Goldberg added. "Should Khamenei decide he's feeling lucky tonight and order a direct attack, we should reset all our assumptions about what Israel is willing to do inside Iran."

Meanwhile in Syria, people are handing out candy and dancing the boogaloo in the street over Nasrallah's death, while congressional members of America's so-called "Squad" are in mourning.

UN approves Turkey's anti-Zionist resolution regarding Jerusalem

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) voted in overwhelming numbers to condemn President Trump's decision to stop pretending that Jerusalem is anything but the capital of Israel as it has been written in the Old Testament thousands of years ago.

The 128 member states of the UNGA voted to condemn Trump's move and only 7 other states joined the U.S. and Israel in voting against the resolution. Thirty-five countries abstained, which effectively supports the U.S.

The vote came soon after U.S. ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, warned those states who support the resolution that there will be consequences, and reminded the General Assembly of the money we provide to the UN and many member states. Haley said the U.S. will be "taking names," a sort of military euphemism derived from "kicking ass and taking dog tags."

"We will remember it when we are called upon once again to make the world's largest contribution to the United Nations," Haley said. "And we will remember when so many countries come calling on us, as they so often do, to pay even more and to use our influence for their benefit."

But they called our bluff because they know we depend on these Islamic countries to help us deal with global terrorism and they believe we will back down on the promise.

Sadly, I believe they may be correct.  I cannot imagine the U.S. cutting off all foreign aid to, say, Pakistan. They need the money to fund their military while doing what they can to aid the anti-Zionist cause.

The resolution was co-sponsored by anti-Semitic Turkey, chair of the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, another anti-Semitic group, and chair of the Arab Group at the U.N.

They hate Israel because they hate Jews. It's there in their so-called "holy" book, the Koran.

The world has been pretending that Jerusalem is somehow not the capital of Israel when, in fact, it has been so since Israel was first discussed in the Old Testament, long before Islam was invented.

Both Democratic and Republican presidents have long said that Jerusalem is Israel's capital, but not one of them had the testicular fortitude to stand by their words until Trump came along. Like him or not, he is the only U.S. president with the courage of his convictions.

The spoils of war go to the victor and Israel was the victor against all surrounding nations who wished and failed, to destroy them.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Jerusalem is Israel's capital regardless of the outcome of the vote.

And Bibi is right.

Aides warn Trump to go light vs. 'Rocket Man'

Top aides to President Trump have been warning him over and over not to continue with his personal attacks against North Korean leader 'Fat Face' Kim Jong Un. They specifically told him to cool his jets before the UN speech this week, but Trump's jets were hotter than the core of an H-bomb.

The aides told him that insulting Kim in such a global venue could escalate tensions and end any chance for negotiations to diffuse the nuclear crisis.

Evidently, Trump pretended to go along with this good advice but when it came to the UN speech, he derisively described Kim as "Rocket Man" on a "suicide mission" and he threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea--which was not in the speech draft but were ad libbed by Trump.

Even Trump's anti-Israel  national security adviser H.R. McMaster argued for several months against attacking Kim Jong Un on a personal level warning it could backfire.

It would be like "War of the World's Egos."

However, asking Trump to play nice and not belittle his enemies and rivals with crude nicknames was too hard to suppress. He felt compelled to go after the chubby chump.

Now some advisors worry that Trump's escalating war of words has pushed the standoff with North Korea into a new and dangerous phase that will negate the hard work of sanctions on their economy.

But at least Trump feels satisfied he 'out punked' Kim in spite of the North Korean leader's CIA psychological profile that says he has a massive ego and reacts harshly and often lethally to insults and perceived slights.

Of course, Kim took Trump's insults personally and was especially pissed that Trump dissed him in front of 200 world leaders and diplomats at the UN.

The insulting went back and forth:

Trump: Hey Kim, if you can't laugh at yourself, I'd be glad to do it for you.

Kim: If I gave you a penny for your thoughts, I'd get change.

Trump: Oh yeah? The last time I saw a face like yours, I fed it a banana.

Kim: Donald Trump, I not offended by what you say, you dotard. I'm just happy you're now stringing words into sentences.

Trump: If I throw a stick, will you go away?

And so on.

This has got to stop before both leaders believe they cannot 'lose face' and respond with fire and fury. In fact, this kind of clashing can undermine Trump's other efforts at the General Assembly meetings.

John Park, a specialist on Northeast Asia at Harvard's Kennedy School, said the back and forth insults have created a "new reality" and probably shut off any chance of starting new talks to curb NoKo's nuclear arms program.

"If the belief centers around sanctions being the last hope to averting war and getting North Korea back to the negotiating table, it's too late," Park said.

Former President Obama warmed Trump before his inauguration that North Korea would be his most pressing international concern. But Trump realizing Obama was the idiot who told Romney that Russia was no big deal, probably didn't give the socialist much credence, but he was 'amazed' how close Kim was to developing an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that could deliver a nuclear warhead to U.S. soil.

However, when he first entered the White House, Trump rarely derided Kim and in May, he said he'd be "honored" to meet Kim under the right circumstances.

He also said he'd built a wall and Mexico will pay for it.

He also said he'd end DACA.

Trump tough tweets after Kim threatens hydrogen bomb test

North Korea this time is threatening to detonate a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific Ocean, potentially killing innumerable fishes (which is the proper use of the plural for 'fish' of more than one species) and President Trump tweeted in kind. 

Trump said that Kim would be "tested like never before," and the rogue regime's leader said, "Trump is a dotard." So Trump said, "Oh yeah? Kim is a retard."

Then Kim said Trump is "deranged."

And so on.

In a speech at the United Nations General Assembly this week, Trump warned NoKo that the U.S. would "totally destroy" North Korea if Pyongyang continued its provocative actions. This caused the leftist mainstream media to have a conniption fit saying that Trump wants to kill millions of North Koreans and perpetrate a war crime.

He basically said the same thing former President Obama said about the rogue state, that if North Korea provoked us, we would respond. But Obama is allowed to say it and Trump isn't.

Then North Korea went even further revealing that Pyongyang could conduct the H-bomb test, and tweeted about "The Russian hoax."

Be it far from Trump to let an insult go unanswered; he tweeted back:

"Kim Jong Un of North Korea, [are there any others?] who is obviously a madman who doesn't mind starving or killing his people, will be tested like never before!"

Ah, the signature exclamation point!

The Yonhap news agency of South Korea reported Thursday on the H-bomb threat from North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho (his friends call him 'Ri the Young Ho') said the possibility of new nuclear testing is a response to Trump's U.N. speech filled with tremendous bluster and very, very provocative language that may have had an incredible impact of global proportions on corpulent Kim.

"This could probably mean the strongest hydrogen bomb test over the Pacific Ocean. Regarding which measures to take, I don't really know since it is what Kim Jong Un does," Ri said cryptically in Korean.

If the test takes place, it would be considered a major provocation by the U.S., South Korea and Japan. Ri is scheduled to address the UNGA on Saturday--a day later than originally scheduled.

Ri's comments came after Kim lashed out at Trump, calling the TV star and U.S. President "deranged" and vowed that Trump [as opposed to the U.S.] would "pay dearly" for his threat to destroy North Korea.

Cheers went up all over CNN and MSNBC.

Kim must have been very upset with Trump. After Trump's U.N. speech, Kim said our president was "unfit to hold the prerogative of supreme command of a country."

It's obvious Kim has no idea what democracy is--nobody holds a 'supreme command' of the United States, although Obama tried.

'The Kimster' also said Trump is "a rogue and a gangster fond of playing with fire."

Kim calling Trump a "gangster" is like Antifa calling itself 'Anti-fascist.'

Some analysts and Jimmy Kimmel believe Kim's statement is a clear indication that the North plans to ramp up its already fast-paced weapons testing. These weapons include missiles designed to target U.S. forces in Asia and the U.S. mainland.

Trump has made fun of Kim, calling him "rocket man" on a "suicide mission" and added that if "forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea."

Kim said Trump's statements "have convinced me, rather than frightening or stopping me, that the path I chose is correct and that it is the one I have to follow to the last."

The chubby cherub said he was "thinking hard" about his response and that Trump "will face results beyond his expectations."

Yes, if it comes to war and he destroys North Korea, Trump will have a pang of guilt the likes of which he may have never before experienced. But Kim will be toast with lots of butter.

Military analyst at Seoul's Institute for Far Eastern Studies Kim Dong-yub said he believes Kim's statement shows that NoKo would respond to Trump with its most aggressive missile test thus far. It might include firing a Hwasong-14 ICBM over Japan to a range of about 4,349 miles to show its ability to reach Hawaii or Alaska.

Rep. Maxine Waters (Duh-Calif.) said that this would have never come to this point if President Trump would just resign "and get his ugly face outta here."

U.N. General Assembly president accused of taking bribes

How could that smile be
guilty?

Former U.N. General Assembly president John William Ashe (no relation to the late Arthur Ashe) is accused of taking half a million dollars in bribes from Chinese businesses, but on the plus side, he took his family to an $850-a-night hotel room where they had a great time with some of the bribe money.

The current president of the UNGA said "corruption has no place" there but did not specify where corruption has a place. Hillary Clinton wants to know.

Ashe put the money to good use, it appears, buying custom suits, Rolex watches and using it to pay his mortgage and construct a basketball court at his Dobbs Ferry home.

He was arrested on Tuesday.

Ashe is a former U.N. ambassador from Antigua and Barbados and served as head of the 193-nation assembly from September 2013 to September 2014. He faces tax fraud involving a conspiracy of five others including Francis Lorenzo, a deputy U.N. ambassador from the Dominican Republic currently living in the Bronx but soon may relocate to the "state pen."

U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said "I wouldn't be surprised if we see other people charged."

Samantha Power, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. was not available for comment.

If found guilty, Ashe may be spending more time with FIFA officials in prison than basketball enthusiasts on his newly constructed home court.

Obama addresses the UN as Putin shivers in his Cossack boots

After schooling the pope this week on what real Christianity is all about, Barack Hussein Obama went on to school the United Nations General Assembly about the threat of terrorism in the world.

Of course, for the most part, he was preaching to the choir, as there are 57 Islamic nations in the UN, and they are all quite familiar, as is Obama, with the Koran and its bellicose writings.

Nevertheless, Obama appealed for global cooperation in dealing with terrorism and gave his negotiating position on Syria before Vladimir Putin got his shot at the podium.

Obama, being careful not to use the words Islamic or jihadist, warned the UN of the "dangerous currents" threatening the modern world. He cited "brutal networks of terror" [not Islamic networks of terror, mind you] that have filled the vacuum in fragile states which have created a refugee crisis of "epic scale" proportions [which, of course, had nothing to do with his failure to get involved].

Obama, always the gentle kitten, urged the nations of the world against imposing order "by force," [that's the job of ISIS].

"If we cannot work together collectively, [a la Karl Marx] we will all suffer the consequences." the socialist leader said, implying that Russia ought to ease up and relax.

Obama said the US is willing to work with Iran and Russia to resolve the Syrian civil war but added that the world cannot see a "return to the pre-war status quo" in Syria. 

"Let's remember how this started," Obama told the Alzheimer afflicted UN delegates. "[Bashar] Assad reacted to peaceful protests by escalating repression and killing."

But that's kind of what dictators do when being threatened at the loss of power.

Putin, however, spoke and said that he supported the Assad government because it is only that chinless lisping leader who is fighting against terrorists. [He too forgot that they are Islamic jihadists and do not see beheadings, immolation, and stonings as terrorism, but acts of religious duty.]

Obama and Putin are planning to speak off mic at the annual gathering of world leaders.
