Marco Rubio does to Cuban diplomat what Israel did to Hamas: FAFO

The United Nations is supposed to be a place where representatives of the world's nations gather to lecture one another about peace, justice, and human rights while accomplishing approximately nothing. But when U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Mike Waltz exposed the luxurious lifestyles of Cuba's communist overlords during a General Assembly debate Tuesday, the proceedings briefly transformed into a live demonstration of what happens when a dictatorship encounters an inconvenient PowerPoint presentation.

As media outlet PJ Media reported, the Cuban delegation responded to Waltz's remarks with an epic shouting match, culminating in a Cuban diplomat allegedly shoving an American diplomat. Apparently, exposing the perks of the proletariat's supposed champions is grounds for a diplomatic incident.

Now one of Cuba's representatives is preparing for an involuntary change of scenery.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed an order expelling Richard Tur de la Concepción, the first secretary of Cuba's mission to the U.N., who allegedly shoved an American diplomat during the confrontation at U.N. headquarters. Waltz announced the expulsion before sitting down with Fox News to explain that Cuba's diplomatic privileges apparently do not include free swings at American officials.

"He's gone," Waltz told Fox News. "He is going to be on a plane to Havana within the next 24 hours."

Asked where the Trump administration stands, Waltz made its position abundantly clear.

"You lay a hand on an American here in the United States, President Trump, Secretary Rubio and myself, we're not gonna stand for it," he said. Mike happens to be a decorated Green Beret and Army Special Forces soldier, so it's a good thing the Cuban didn't attack him directly lest he get handed his butt in spades.

Cuban officials, meanwhile, have remained silent about the expulsion, presumably busy consulting the revolutionary handbook for a chapter titled What To Do When The Americans Actually Enforce A Consequence.

The confrontation began over a non-binding resolution demanding an end to the U.S. economic, commercial, and financial embargo on Cuba, scheduled for a vote Wednesday. According to the New York Post, Waltz used his speaking time to expose the economic arrangement behind Cuba's supposedly egalitarian paradise: a ruling class enjoying real estate, luxury watches, and private jets while ordinary Cubans endure blackouts, shortages, and the exciting daily adventure of discovering which necessities are unavailable today.

To illustrate the arrangement, Waltz held up a photograph of Che Guevara wearing a Rolex worth roughly $40,000. The revolutionary icon, famous for preaching equality, apparently understood that some watches are more equal than others.

"According to the regime's own statistics, that would pay for 55 years of an average Cuban wage," he said.

Waltz then produced a second photograph, this time featuring current Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel. The man currently overseeing Cuba's socialist paradise was also sporting a Rolex, suggesting that the revolution's commitment to eliminating class distinctions has developed a few highly exclusive exceptions.

"It didn't just start with Castro," Waltz said. "This is the current Cuban president, also with a Rolex on."

That was apparently the moment the Cuban delegation decided that international diplomacy had become intolerable. Delegates began banging on their desks, presumably hoping to drown out the sound of their own government's luxury-watch collection being discussed in public.

Che with his $40,000 Rolex: Communism was berry, berry good to him

Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla rose from his seat, marched toward the podium, and demanded that General Assembly President Khalilur Rahman call Waltz to order under Rule 71. Waltz turned toward the agitated delegation.

"He doesn't like hard truths," he told them. "You can come and intimidate all you want."

Rodríguez continued toward the podium, but Waltz refused to surrender his place. The encounter was beginning to resemble a hostage negotiation in which the hostage had just discovered that the captors were wearing Rolexes.

"You understand who you're dealing with? This is America. Back up!" Waltz shouted.

U.N. officials scrambled to restore order, while Rahman threatened to suspend the session. Waltz, however, continued speaking, apparently unwilling to let the proceedings be derailed by a government whose preferred response to criticism involves intimidation rather than answering questions.

"He's not going to intimidate me in the United States of America — like he tries to intimidate political prisoners," he told the Assembly.

After another round of desk-banging, Waltz resumed his speech, delivering a reminder that the United Nations is not technically an extension of the Cuban Communist Party's central committee.

"This is America, my friend," he said. "This is the United Nations. This isn't your communist dictatorship. You cannot silence me."

Richard Tur de la Concepción now has a plane ride to Havana ahead of him, where he can presumably explain how a diplomatic mission intended to defend Cuba's interests wound up producing an expulsion order, an international spectacle, and an unexpectedly expensive lesson in personal space.

The revolution may promise to abolish the ruling class, but it apparently never promised to abolish its Rolex collection. And after Tuesday's performance, one Cuban diplomat has discovered that the United States is not obligated to let him stay just because he has a fancy title and a seat at the U.N.

Mamdani's War on the Bodega: Because Nothing Says “Helping Immigrants” Like Destroying Their Businesses

New York City Mayor and comrade Zohran Mamdani has apparently discovered the ultimate solution to economic inequality: have the government open grocery stores and compete directly with the immigrant entrepreneurs who spent generations building New York’s neighborhoods.

Naturally, the immigrant grocers being targeted by this brilliant socialist experiment are not impressed, especially since their own tax money is going toward the funding of these stores,

The Multicultural Business Coalition (MBC), which represents immigrant-run businesses, has filed two lawsuits against Mamdani’s plan to open government-run supermarkets, arguing that the city’s taxpayer-funded grocery empire could drive family-owned bodegas and supermarkets out of business.

One lawsuit represents “hundreds” of grocers who are “members of groups historically discriminated against,” according to The New York Post. The city plans to open the first of five government supermarkets next year.

Apparently, the revolutionary dream of replacing capitalism with socialism has reached the point where the government now gets to compete with the very immigrants Democrats routinely celebrate as the backbone of American entrepreneurship.

Sure, keep voting for these leftists, my Democrat friends, and quit complaining. You got what you voted for, good and hard.

MBC President Ken Roldan called the plan “a direct assault on minority business by a mayor who claims to be a champion of disenfranchised poor and working-class New Yorkers.”

That's one way to describe it. Another would be: “Congratulations, your reward for building a successful neighborhood business is a government competitor.” Again, on their own tax dollars.

Mamdani, naturally, is naively confident that everything will work out beautifully. On Monday, he defended the proposal, saying he is “fully confident in both the legality and the importance of our initiative.”

Because when a socialist government starts opening competing businesses, the one thing you definitely do not need to worry about is whether the government knows what it is doing.

The second lawsuit raises concerns similar to those surrounding previous efforts to bring Walmart into New York City. Opponents of Walmart argued that the retail giant could drive small storefronts out of business.

But apparently Walmart was insufficiently progressive. Now New York City wants to become Walmart, except with taxpayers footing the bill and politicians deciding what gets stocked on the shelves.

The immigrant grocers also allege that the city “failed to study the discriminatory effects” of the planned supermarkets on family-owned bodegas and supermarkets operated by Hispanics, Arabs, and Asians. The lawsuit asks the city to conduct such a study.

Never held a real job until now

Frank Garcia, chairman of the MBC, explained why the issue is personal.

“My grandfather opened up one of the first bodegas in the late 1960s when East Harlem was burning, and the A&Ps and Walbaums were leaving,” Garcia said. “He established the first Latino Grocery Association to protect the rights of immigrant store owners. I am proud to be following up in his tradition because what Mayor Mamdani is doing is disgracing his memory.”

Nothing says “honoring immigrant entrepreneurs” quite like making them compete against City Hall.

Jairo Guzman, president of the NY State Mexican Chamber of Commerce, called the immigrant-run bodegas “New York City’s great mosaic,” and said that “Mayor Mamdani needs to withdraw his disastrous plan and work with us to find different ways to bolster and sustain what so many (New York City) immigrants have created.”

“The Puerto Ricans were the bodega pioneers and they were followed by the Dominicans, the Arabs, the Koreans, the Chinese, and finally, my Mexican business members,” Guzman said.

There was a time when the American dream meant immigrants arrived with little, worked hard, opened businesses, served their communities, and eventually built something their children could inherit.

Under Mamdani economics, the dream appears to be evolving into something more modern: work hard, build a successful business, pay your taxes, and wait patiently for the government to open a competing store next door.

Mamdani has pledged that the government-run grocery stores will offer products at prices 30% lower than private retailers.

Economists have warned that the plan could lead to supply-chain breakdowns and bare shelves.

But why worry about shortages when you can simply blame capitalism for them?

Venture capitalist Shaun Maguire recently offered a less optimistic assessment.

“This is LITERALLY how you destroy an economy,” Maguire warned, adding, “This is the story of the Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela, etc. Now coming to NYC!”

Of course, New York is not the Soviet Union, Cuba, or Venezuela.

Not yet, anyway.

But if Mamdani succeeds, New Yorkers may soon discover the exciting socialist experience of paying taxes to support a government grocery store while standing in line outside a private bodega that has already gone out of business.

At least the empty shelves will be affordable.

Trump Grants Iran 60-Day Oil Hall Pass After Regime Promises To Behave This Time

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a heartwarming display of international trust rarely seen outside kindergarten classrooms, the Trump administration announced Monday that it will temporarily allow Iran to produce and sell oil after the Islamic regime reportedly promised to keep its hands to itself and play nicely in the Strait of Hormuz.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent revealed that the administration has issued a 60-day license authorizing Iranian oil sales while negotiators work toward a broader peace agreement. Officials expressed cautious optimism that a government famous for sponsoring terrorism, threatening its neighbors, and chanting "Death to America" may finally be turning over a new leaf.

“In line with the ongoing productive talks in Switzerland, Iran has committed to free and open transit in the Strait of Hormuz and to permit International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors into their country,” Bessent wrote on X.

Diplomats reportedly celebrated the breakthrough after Iran allegedly looked everyone directly in the eye and promised it was being totally serious this time.

“As part of the framework, Treasury has issued a temporary 60-day general license authorizing the production, delivery, and sale of Iranian oil,” he continued.

To ensure the arrangement remains above board, the license specifically prohibits buyers in North Korea, Cuba, and Crimea from purchasing Iranian oil, effectively preventing what experts described as "the world's least trustworthy governments from forming an even more suspicious customer loyalty program."

Vice President JD Vance said the negotiations successfully established a mechanism to keep the Strait of Hormuz open and prevent disagreements from spiraling into a larger conflict.

Administration officials praised the agreement as a significant diplomatic achievement, noting that if all goes well, future negotiations could include additional confidence-building measures such as Iran pinky-swearing not to build nuclear weapons and signing a note promising not to fund terrorist proxies during recess.

At press time, international observers reported that several barrels of Iranian oil had already begun flowing toward global markets while diplomats eagerly waited to see whether the phrase "trust but verify" could survive another encounter with the Iranian regime.

Federal Officials Subpoena Hasan Piker And Medea Benjamin For The Crime Of Vacationing In Cuba While Pretending It Wasn't A Communist Propaganda Tour

WASHINGTON—In a shocking development that has left the activist community clutching their Che Guevara tote bags, federal officials have subpoenaed Twitch's premier champagne socialist Hasan Piker and CodePink co-founder Medea Benjamin as part of a widening investigation into Americans who may have accidentally violated U.S. sanctions by, sources say, "going to Cuba and handing stuff to the regime."

According to reports, the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control, those notorious buzzkills, issued subpoenas tied to the "Nuestra América Convoy," a heartwarming coalition of trust-fund revolutionaries, Instagram influencers, and professional America-haters who embarked on a solidarity cruise to the island paradise where bread lines are considered performance art.

Investigators are reportedly looking into whether these brave freedom fighters illegally financed their tropical Marxist cosplay, coordinated logistics with the Cuban government, delivered "aid" that somehow never reaches actual Cubans, or stayed at regime-connected hotels that appear on the State Department's "Definitely Not For Tourists" list. The probe is part of the Trump administration's cruel and unusual crackdown on people who love authoritarianism but hate filling out paperwork.

Piker, the internet's most beloved tankie who streams from a house his uncle bought him, proudly documented the trip on Instagram with the courageous caption "I’M GOING TO CUBA."

He was spotted high-fiving CodePink activists and networking with organizations linked to Neville Roy Singham, the capitalist billionaire who's turned "funding communism" into a full-time hobby. Up to 40 Americans could face scrutiny, meaning the feds are coming for everyone who thought "bringing medical supplies to Cuba" was a personality.

In response, Piker took to social media with the calm, measured tone of a man whose entire brand is being mad online: "the american govt would rather try to criminalize delivering aid to a country we’ve starved, than punish the epstein class." Critics noted that "delivering aid" in this context apparently means posing for photos while the Cuban people continue their 65-year experiment with bread shortages.

Medea Benjamin, meanwhile, delivered the most unintentionally hilarious humanitarian defense of the year: "Taking medical supplies to pediatric hospitals in Cuba is now a crime? Saving the lives of babies is a crime?" This from the co-founder of CodePink, an organization whose other major cause is ensuring as many American babies as possible never make it to a pediatric hospital in the first place. The irony was so thick you could spread it on regime-approved toast.

Medea Benjamin

CodePink has long maintained that abortion activism, anti-capitalism, hating Israel, climate doomsaying, and screaming at U.S. soldiers are all part of the same sacred "global feminist struggle." Their manifesto reportedly equates the "war machine" with "patriarchy," scolds Western feminists for not caring enough about Gaza, and dreams of a utopia where American bases vanish, Israeli walls crumble, and uteruses achieve full diplomatic immunity, preferably under a nice red flag.

Neither Piker nor Benjamin has been charged with anything yet. They're simply being asked questions about why they keep treating hostile dictatorships like ideological summer camps while calling it "humanitarian work." Piker, who once said America deserved 9/11 and has spent years explaining why various communist hellholes are actually worker paradises, seems genuinely shocked that the government noticed.

For now, the subpoenas represent a bold new frontier in federal enforcement: the radical notion that maybe you shouldn't fly to enemy nations, coordinate with their governments, and then act surprised when someone checks the receipts. The Babylon Bee will continue monitoring this story as it develops, or until Hasan has to stream from a slightly less luxurious location.

Pramila Jayapal Whines About Death Threats After Her Little Communist Vacation to Cuba

Chennai, India-born Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) fresh off a taxpayer-funded jaunt to the socialist paradise of Cuba, is now playing the victim card harder than a socialist plays the "inequality" card.

Apparently, receiving death threats for "doing her job," which in her case seems to involve cozying up to a brutal dictatorship, has her clutching her pearls and calling everyone mean. Jayapal, who went to the island with fellow progressive Rep. Jonathan Jackson (D-IL) back in April, met with Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, top regime officials, some hand-picked "dissidents," and various foreign ambassadors. She then came back and blubbered about the "crisis beyond imagination" that U.S. sanctions are supposedly causing.

"It's ridiculous," she sniffed to Fox News Digital. Yeah, lady, it is ridiculous, but not for the reasons you think.

Jayapal insists these meetings with ambassadors are just "part of our job." You know, the same job where she apparently thinks the United States should engage in "true diplomatic negotiations" with a communist hellhole instead of, I don't know, maintaining pressure on a regime that loves teaming up with Iran, Hezbollah, and every other anti-American dumpster diver on the planet.

She's now working on legislation to fight what she dramatically calls the "cruel collective punishment" of U.S. fuel restrictions. Because in progressive land, expecting a dictatorship to stop starving and oppressing its own people is somehow collective punishment. The embargo that's been around longer than most TikTok communists have been alive? Totally ineffective, according to her. Never mind that it might have something to do with the fact that communism has a 100% failure rate everywhere it's been tried.

The White House didn't exactly roll out the red carpet for her Havana holiday, calling it "shameful" and accusing her of a bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. A spokesperson nailed it: Democrats are the "America Last" party, the ones happy to sip cocktails with terrorists while undermining the U.S. to prop up a failed communist relic.

Naturally, Jayapal spent her Seattle briefing painting heartbreaking pictures of NICU babies and empty shelves, because if there's one thing Democrats excel at, it's selective humanitarian concern. Funny how that compassion never seems to extend to the Cuban people rotting in prisons for daring to speak against the regime, or the waves of desperate migrants fleeing the socialist utopia she wants to go easier on.

Questions about the Logan Act, that dusty old law about unauthorized negotiations with foreign governments, have been floated, but don't hold your breath. Laws are for little people, not globe-trotting progressive lawmakers who think they're Secretary of State.

Jayapal has long pushed to lift the embargo, take Cuba off the State Sponsor of Terrorism list, and generally treat a repressive dictatorship like it's just misunderstood. She's criticized the Cuban government before, sure, but actions speak louder than the occasional performative scold. Right now, her actions scream "useful idiot."

The backlash was predictable, and the death threats are inexcusable. But maybe, just maybe, if you didn't keep running interference for America's enemies, fewer people would be inclined to lose their minds about it. Just a thought from the cheap seats.

Cuba is on deck and Trump's got the ball and into the wind-up

President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have made no secret of the fact that Cuba is next. We already removed Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela. Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is gone, along with most of his rotten regime. Now the focus shifts to the last stubborn communist holdout in the hemisphere.

Even the aging dinosaurs still clinging to power on that island, long after Fidel shuffled off this mortal coil, are starting to rattle their sabers. Cuba's president felt the need to puff out his chest and declare he's "not afraid" of the United States. He has to say that, of course. It's the party line. But anyone who's visited Cuba knows the place feels like a time capsule frozen in the 1950s, and most ordinary Cubans understand the truth: they would be overwhelmed quickly if it came down to it.

During the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Pentagon had a contingency plan called Operation Ortsac—Castro spelled backward—for a full-scale invasion if things escalated and the Soviet missiles needed to be ripped out by force. It's not officially back on the books, but according to USA Today, military planning is quietly heating up anyway:

"Military planning for a possible Pentagon-led operation in Cuba is quietly ramping up, in case President Donald Trump gives an order to intervene there, USA TODAY has learned."The report cites two sources familiar with the directives who spoke on condition of anonymity. These moves mark an escalation of tensions that kicked off in January when the Trump administration curbed oil shipments to Cuba as part of a deliberate campaign to force sweeping political changes on the communist-run island.

The piece adds that the U.S. and Cuba have acknowledged they're in the early stages of trying to find some off-ramp from the crisis, though it's anyone's guess how much real compromise either side is willing to offer. Back in March, USA Today itself reported the two countries were in discussions that could have led to a "historic economic deal" to thaw relations.

Translation: the old guard in Havana can bluster all they want about dying for the revolution and giving their lives for the cause. Brave words from men who’ve spent decades presiding over poverty, blackouts, and repression while the Cuban people suffer. But after watching Maduro get yanked and Khamenei’s regime crumble, the message from Washington is crystal clear. The era of tolerating these backward communist fossils on America's doorstep is rapidly coming to an end—and the clock is ticking.

Seriously: Iran nominated to head UN terrorism prevention group

The United Nations is the single worst enabler of human rights abuses in the world, even as it claims to protect human rights.

As UN Watch reports, the United Nations continues elevating Iran, China and other human rights abusers to leading positions in shaping and determining human rights findings and enforcement. And Iran, the world's greatest state sponsor of terrorism, in particular will be in a position to shape policy on terrorism prevention.

On Wednesday, the UN's 54-nation Economic and Social Council nominated the Islamic Republic of Iran to the UN's Committee for Program and Coordination, which meets next month to shape policy on women's rights, human rights, disarmament, and terrorism prevention.
ECOSOC's nomination is effectively decisive, as the UN General Assembly customarily rubber-stamps such nominations without a vote.

In addition, ECOSOC by acclamation elected China, Cuba, Nicaragua, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan to the influential Committee on NGOs, which oversees the work, accreditation and UN access of thousands of human rights and civil society groups that enjoy consultative status at the world body.

The United States was the only ECOSOC member to object, saying that Iran, Cuba and Nicaragua were "unfit."

Henhouse, meet fox. The UN can't counter terrorism becomes the terrorism is coming from inside the house. The UN is the problem. And the sooner we get rid of it, the better.

Cuba readies for possible U.S. military action

If a country could be symbolized in the form of a person, Cuba would be Sarah McBride, and the United States of America would be the late, great Chuck Norris when comparing the two nations.

Cuba is supposedly "preparing" for military conflict with the United States, according to their top diplomat on "Meet the Press." Now let's get real here guys, this is classic commie theater from the Cuban regime, and it's about as believable as a Biden family influence-peddling story because Cuba is a country running on fumes, blackouts, and Venezuelan handouts that, for some reason [Trump] has been cut off.

“Our military is always prepared, and in fact it is preparing these days for the possibility of military aggression,” Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío said with a straight face in an interview on “Meet the Press.”

“We would be naïve” not to consider the possibility, he added, while insisting that Havana “truly hope[s] that it doesn’t occur” and sees “no justification whatsoever” for conflict.

Oh, please, spare us the victim routine. This comes right after President Trump laid it out plain and simple. He said he would have the “honor” of  “taking Cuba in some form . . .  Free it. Take it. I think I could do anything I want with it.”

Boom! Straight talk.

And Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been crystal clear too, warning that those in power in Havana “don’t know how to fix” the country’s mounting crises. Because they don't. They're communists. Fixing things isn't in the playbook. It just makes those at the top richer and the rest of the country equally poor.

Fernández de Cossío dismissed those remarks, insisting that regime change is “absolutely” not up for discussion. “The Cuban political system is not up for negotiation,” he said. “Cuba is a sovereign country . . . and would not accept becoming a dependent state of any other power.

”Sovereign? Sure, if by sovereign you mean propped up by oil from a collapsing Venezuela and now scrambling because the U.S. is finally choking off the fuel lifeline. The Trump administration is playing hardball, threatening penalties on any country exporting oil to Cuba, which the regime calls a “very severe” blockade.

“What’s happening today is that the U.S. is threatening . . .  any country that might export fuel to Cuba,” Fernández de Cossío said, arguing the pressure campaign “cannot be sustained forever.”

Can't be sustained forever is a joke. Dude, your blackouts and grid collapses are happening right now. Hospitals straining, food distribution breaking down, people in the dark, literally. And let's not forget the U.S. military operation that nabbed Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, your BFF and sugar daddy for oil. That lifeline's gone, and now you're crying foul.

Despite the tough talk, both sides admit there's still some chatter going on. Fernández de Cossío confirmed that Cuban and U.S. officials remain in dialogue on certain bilateral issues, though he stressed that core political questions such as leadership and single-party governance are off the table.

“No sovereign country negotiates its internal political system,” he said. And then he tried flipping the script, criticizing America's two-party system. Nice try, comrade, but last I checked, we have elections, not dictators for life.

While Cuban officials emphasized readiness, they also sought to downplay the likelihood of imminent conflict. “Our country has historically been ready to mobilize . . .  for military aggression,” Fernández de Cossío said. “We truly always see it as something far from us. We don’t believe it is something that is probable.” Still, he reiterated that failing to prepare would be a mistake given current global tensions.

Translation: We're saber-rattling to rally the troops at home while begging behind the scenes not to get steamrolled. Cuba's staring down economic collapse, nationwide blackouts, public frustration boiling over, and the regime still refuses any real change. For now, Havana's trying to play both sides, signaling they want to avoid war but prepping anyway, just in case.

Look, if the Cuban people ever get a real shot at freedom, it'll be because the pressure from Trump and Rubio finally forces the issue, not because the regime suddenly grows a conscience. Until then, this is just more bluster, shoulder-rolling and crotch grabbing from a failing dictatorship that's one bad blackout away from imploding.

Change is coming to Cuba, whether the commies like it or not. Let's go, Brandon, wait, no, let's go, Trump!

Anti-Government riot in Cuba over blackouts

Anti-government protesters stormed a Communist Party office in northern Cuba early Saturday, according to a state-run newspaper, marking a rare flash of open defiance fueled by brutal blackouts made even worse by the U.S. oil blockade.

What started as a peaceful rally against power outages and food shortages in the city of Moron [seriously] late Friday spiraled into violence by early Saturday morning, the Invasor newspaper reported. Social media videos captured a massive fire raging and crowds hurling rocks through building windows while chants of “liberty” echoed in the background.

Reuters could not independently verify the videos, which posters claimed depicted the chaos in Moron, a coastal city roughly 250 miles (400 km) east of Havana, close to the tourist spot Cayo Coco.

The United States has really tightened the screws on Cuba this year, especially after nabbing Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in January. Maduro has long been Cuba's top foreign sugar daddy.

President Trump shut down Venezuelan oil deliveries to the island and warned any nation selling oil to Cuba could face tariffs, hammering an economy already choking on shortages of food, fuel, electricity, and medicine.

In recent weeks, Trump has repeatedly declared that Cuba is teetering on the edge of collapse or desperate for a deal with Washington. On Friday, the Cuban government announced it had kicked off talks with the U.S. to ease the crisis.

Violent public protests remain extremely rare in Cuba. The 2019 constitution supposedly guarantees the right to demonstrate, but a detailed law spelling out how that works is stuck in legislative purgatory, leaving street protesters in a legal gray zone.

"What initially began peacefully, and after an exchange with local authorities, turned into acts of vandalism against the headquarters of the Municipal Party Committee," Invasor reported. "A smaller group of people stoned the entrance of the building and started a fire in the street with furniture from the reception area," it added.

The Moron vandals hit several other state-run spots in the area too, including a pharmacy and a government market, per the report.

One unverified social media clip includes the sound of a gunshot, followed by the camera panning to someone on the ground. State media outlet Vanguardia de Cuba pushed back hard against online claims that police had shot the person.

"The image circulating shows the scene of the protest, but it’s important for the public to know the truth: no one was injured by gunfire," Vanguardia de Cuba posted on X. "Media manipulation seeks to sow fear and confusion among our people. Let's not fall for provocations," it added.

Police rounded up five people, and one drunken protester took a tumble and ended up getting treated for injuries at a local hospital.

Over the past week, small groups in Havana have been banging pots and pans in the streets to protest the endless blackouts.

On Monday, students staged a sit-in on the steps of the University of Havana after the regime canceled in-person classes, blaming the U.S. oil blockade. Fuel shortages have crippled public transportation, turning commutes for teachers and students into a nightmare. Moron also saw major unrest during the huge anti-government riots on July 11, 2021, the biggest challenge to the regime since Fidel Castro's 1959 revolution.

BREAKING: Trump admin pulls off daring raid--Maduro captured: promises made; promises kept

"Goodbye Venezuela; have a nice day"

BOOM! President Donald Trump just announced that U.S. forces executed a "large-scale strike" in Venezuela early Saturday morning, capturing socialist strongman Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, before flying them out of the country.

Trump broke the news himself, saying the operation was a resounding success and that the Venezuelan dictator and his spouse have been "captured and flown out of the Country." He's set to address the nation at 11 a.m. ET from Mar-a-Lago.

This comes after months of ramped-up pressure on the Maduro regime, including U.S. strikes on drug-linked vessels in the Caribbean and Pacific, plus a CIA hit on a cartel dock in Venezuela late last year. And remember, there was a $50 million bounty on Maduro's head for info leading to his arrest.

Now, Maduro's vice president is scrambling, demanding [LOL] "proof of life." Attorney General Pam Bondi promised that the couple will face the "full wrath of American justice" after their extraction.

In an X post, Bondi laid it out: "Nicholas Maduro has been charged with Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy, Possession of Machine guns and Destructive Devices, and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns and Destructive Devices against the United States. They will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts," she wrote.

"On behalf of the entire U.S. DOJ, I would like to thank President Trump for having the courage to demand accountability on behalf of the American People, and a huge thank you to our brave military who conducted the incredible and highly successful mission to capture these two alleged international narco traffickers," AG Bondi added.

The charges stem from a 2020 indictment in the Southern District of New York for narco-terrorism and related crimes.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) piled on via X, reminding everyone that Maduro "was indicted in U.S. court nearly six years ago for drug trafficking and narco-terrorism."

"Nicolas Maduro wasn’t just an illegitimate dictator; he also ran a vast drug-trafficking operation," Cotton wrote.

The senator added that Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that Maduro would "face justice for his crimes against our citizens."

This is a massive win for America First, taking down a narco-terrorist thug who's wrecked Venezuela and flooded our streets with poison. Kudos to Trump and our incredible military for getting it done.

Vice President JD Vance is fully standing behind President Donald Trump’s decisive action to strike Venezuela and capture the narco-dickwad Nicolás Maduro.

In a post on X, Vance made it crystal clear: "The president offered multiple off ramps, but was very clear throughout this process: the drug trafficking must stop, and the stolen oil must be returned to the United States. Maduro is the newest person to find out that President Trump means what he says," Vance wrote on X.

"Kudos to our brave special operators who pulled off a truly impressive operation," he added. The daring U.S. strikes and Maduro's capture have sparked reactions worldwide, some nations whining about "chaos in the region," while others rightly cheer America for taking out a dangerous narco-terrorist who's poisoned our streets and stolen resources that belong here. This is Trump delivering on his promises: no more games with thugs who think they can flood America with drugs and get away with it. Huge props to our elite forces for another flawless mission. America First in action.

World leaders were all over the map Saturday after the U.S. unleashed the strike on Venezuela.

No surprise here: Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, leader of that bankrupt communist island, threw a hissy-fit, condemning what he called a "criminal attack" and whining on X that, "Our zone of peace is being brutally assaulted." Of course he’s mad, Communist Cuba’s been propping up Maduro’s regime for years while remaining a sworn enemy of the United States. They can sit on it for all we care.

Next door, Colombia’s leftist President Gustavo Petro clutched his pearls, saying his government was watching events "with deep concern" and warning that U.S. action could "destabilize" the region. And by that, he means we could destabilize the fentanyl distribution channels.

"The Colombian Government rejects any unilateral military action that could aggravate the situation or put the civilian population at risk," Petro wrote on X.

Meanwhile, Argentina’s President Javier Milei, Trump’s real ally in the region, celebrated the news like it was Christmas morning. He reposted an old video of himself torching Maduro’s "narco-terrorist" regime as a hemispheric menace and calling on Latin leaders to support U.S. pressure to crush it.

"Long live freedom, dammit!" Milei wrote, dropping his trademark battle cry.

There you have it, folks: the socialists and their enablers are melting down, while the actual defenders of liberty are popping champagne. Trump just reminded the world that America won’t tolerate narco-dictators anymore, and not everyone’s happy about losing their drug-running buddy.

Former US ambassador to Bolivia busted as Cuban agent

A former US Ambassador to Bolivia, Manuel Rocha, 73, was the target of a long term investigation by the FBI and as such has been accused of being an agent of Cuba. [H/T Associated Press]

Rocha was arrested in Miami on Friday on a criminal complaint and is expected to make a court appearance today, Monday, as told to the AP by two people on conditions of anonymity, which sucks but can be verified if there happens to be a court appearance.

One of the people said the Justice Department case accuses Rocha of working to promote the Cuban government’s interests.

Federal law requires people, such as Hunter Biden and Bob Menendez, for example. who does the political bidding of a foreign government or entity inside the US to register with the Justice Department, which in recent years has stepped up its criminal enforcement of illicit foreign lobbying.

The Justice Department declined to comment. It was not immediately clear if Rocha had a lawyer and a law firm where he previously worked said it was not representing him.

Rocha’s 25-year diplomatic career was spent under both Democratic and Republican administrations, much of it in Latin America during the Cold War when the Castros were in power.

Rocha was born in Colombia, Rocha, raised in a working-class home in New York City and went on to obtain a succession of liberal arts degrees from Yale, Harvard and Georgetown before joining the foreign service in 1981.

He was the top US diplomat in Argentina between 1997 and 2000 at a time when a decade-long currency stabilization program backed by Washington was unraveling under the weight of huge foreign debt and stagnant growth. This triggered a political crisis that would have Argentina cycle through five presidents in two weeks.

Anyway, both Hunter Biden and Bob Menendez likely believe Rocha should not be charged with being an agent for Cuba, for some reason.

Chinese Communists plan to build military base in Cuba, about a buck away from Florida

Some Democrats sleep with Chinese spies; some make deals with them; and some Democrats are so weak that China is planning to build a spy base in northern Cuba. That's only about 100 miles off the coast of Florida and it's causing U.S. officials to have full-blown panic attacks. "I can't breathe, I can't breathe," you can almost hear them saying.

The Wall Street Journal wrote that China and Cuba are now at an "advanced stage" in negotiating the new deal, which will likely have a lot of green in it for the Cubans, which should make AOC happy for her people--communists, not Cubans.

WSJ spoke with U.S. officials who told them that the information they have about the proposed plan is contained in "highly classified new U.S. intelligence" on Hunter Biden's computer or not.

If China is able to go ahead with building the facility, it would allow them to permanently house troops there and spy on the U.S. like a nosey neighbor with really bad intentions.

The planned operation by the Chinese military is called "Project 141" and is designed to expand China's global presence. Before this, no other effort by Communist China in Project 141 have been in the Western Hemisphere, and the way things look with our brain addled administration with incompetent handlers behind the scene, it looks like they are going to pull it off.

Like Hunter Biden's laptop, his fraudulent business dealings, his overpriced child-level art, and daddy's involvement in all of the deal, man, most officials are downplaying the WSJ's reporting. It begs the question: does the administration and the media want China to become the world dominant power?

“The intelligence community has assessed for several years that the PRC intends to expand its reach globally, and in this case, it is premature to draw firm conclusions about recent reporting,” a U.S. intelligence official told the newspaper. “At this stage, it does not appear to be anything that provides much of an enhancement to the current suite of capabilities.”

The Journal reported that China reached a deal with Cuba to build an electronic eavesdropping base in the country, which is reportedly worth billions, and would allow China to construct a facility that can intercept communications in the southeastern U.S., home to dozens of military bases. The Chinese spy base could also monitor U.S. ship traffic and AOC Instagram dance videos.

Blinken blinked in China, got zip, foreshadowing a frightening future

When US Secretary of State Antony Blinken went to China for talks with Chinese officials, they discussed two important issues: stopping the mass importing of fentanyl that is killing 300 Americans a day on average, and the creation of a dedicated communications system between the militaries of the two nations in the event of an accidental nuclear missile launch.

Blinken blinked and there was no deal on either issue.

Worse, it was recently discovered that China has been operating a spy base in Cuba since 2019 at the very latest. The purpose of Chinese spying is part of their global effort to upgrade their intelligence-gathering capabilities, the Biden administration finally admitted, after vehemently denying it.

Remember how they downplayed the Chinese spy balloons that flew all over the American place?

The official, who was not authorized to speak honestly in public, spoke on the condition of anonymity. He or she said the US intelligence community has been aware of China’s spying from Cuba and a larger effort to set up intelligence-gathering operations around the world for a long time.

The Biden administration has stepped up their loose-wrist efforts to thwart the Chinese push to expand its spying operations and believes it has made some progress through diplomacy and other unspecified action, according to the official, who was familiar with US intelligence on the matter.

This, of course, is propaganda that sounds plausible because we all want to believe it.

Even the Wall Street Journal confirmed the Chinese spy base and said that China and Cuba reached an agreement in principle to build an electronic eavesdropping station on the island and China would pay the communist-poor Cuba billions of dollars in the deal.

The White House claimed the report is inaccurate, but they also claimed Donald Trump had Russian prostitutes pee on him and that Joe Biden is cognitively intact and a great leader.

“I’ve seen that press report, it’s not accurate,” White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby, who has never told a lie to bolster the Democratic Party's agenda, said in an MSNBC interview Thursday. “What I can tell you is that we have been concerned since day one of this administration about China’s influence activities around the world; certainly in this hemisphere and in this region, we’re watching this very, very closely.”

And if they are watching very, very closely, they are doing nothing whatsoever to stop it.

As Scott Adams alluded to this morning on his YouTube show, Blinken blinks and Trump trumps in adversarial situations like this.

Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío also refuted the report in a Twitter post Saturday.

But one should never believe everything that gets tweeted on Twitter by a twit communist like de Cossío because he might be fibbing.

Tensions between the US and China have been fraught throughout Biden’s term and to deal with the situation, President Biden ate chocolate chip ice cream in a rocket-shaped cone.

The world is going to look back at this time in history and ask: "What the hell were they thinking?" And "wasn't Fang Fang kind of hot?"

CNN en Español overtly pro Communist, anti-freedom protesters

CNN En Español’s Directo USA newscast recently talked about the Cuba situation in two separate segments.

The first segment attempted to explain how a low turnout of protesters in Miami was a sign that opponents of the communist regime were losing hope that things on the island will change. [The implication therefore is that Cuban Americans and those still held like prisoners in Cuba, might as well give up and go with the flow.]

The second segment was more like a BS session with almost ten minutes of propaganda devoted to belittling the anti-communist protesters (some of whom waved American flags, which is a "racist" trigger to the Left because everything they disagree with is racist). After the 'put-downs' of anti-communists, the network moved on to give a voice to the pro-regime/pro-communist BS.

ANAMARIA MEJIA, CNN: What we’re really seeing today is a reduction in the number of people showing up, and I will show you where we are- at the Freedom Tower- an iconic place that just eight days ago -not this past Saturday but the previous one- was completely full of people who at this very spot were calling for the freedom of Cuba.

JUAN CARLOS LOPEZ, CNN: Carlos, what’s your take on what happened in Cuba on the eleventh of July and what’s happened since: the protests, the internet shutdown, the reports of excessive use of force against these protesters and official statements that there was no uprising and the situation on the island is normal?

CARLOS LAZO: Um, yes...look, I do believe that there was an inflection point of desperation in the population. The point being that there's an ongoing pandemic, and in addition to the pandemic, (that inflection point was) aggravated by the problems of the Cuban economy, and at the same time (aggravated by) the sanctions that were increased during this Trump era.

ACTIVIST: We have to build bridges of love between the peoples of Cuba and of the United States. Cuba yes! Blockade No!

So Mejia's emphasis on low protester turnout in Miami was done to diminish the effects of the SOS Cuba protests and make the Miami Cubans look like outliers.

When coupled with anchor Juan Carlos López’ snarky dismissal (“they should check their social media”) of the protesters’ concerns that the Biden Administration’s statement might be insufficient, it is clear that CNN is hostile towards the SOS Cuba protests because CNN now stands for the Communist News Network and didn't tell us directly.

Perhaps CNN En Español failed to check the Miami Herald or other outlets, but that's unlikely. They probably are aware of the thousands of folks from Miami and elsewhere gathering in the Washington, D.C. streets around the clock in solidarity with the Cuban people.

But when the anal sphincters at CNN are willing to make up things and labeled the protests in Cuba as a COVID superspreader event, while labeling the riots, looting, violence and even murders by BLM and antifa, in Portland and other Democratic-led cities. as "mostly peaceful," what else can we think of them?

We need to wake up and smell the stink.

Cubans call on Biden for support that is more than empty words

Cuban Americans shut down Miami expressway, blame Biden for no support

If you look closely, you will not see even one :Che" teeshirt in the crowd. Not one. Che was a murdering scumcrumpet and a communist coward who executed unarmed captives.

As Cuban citizens protest their communist dictatorship government, hundreds of Cuban Americans in Miami protested along a major expressway demanding the Biden-Harris-Obama-Jarrett-Sanders-AOC government do something to support them.

Fat chance.

One man told Fox News, "We need Biden's support. We haven't gotten support from the president, so we're trying to fight, to finish with the communism."

So it wasn't about the covid situation, contrary to Jen Psaki and the administration. Who'd a thunk?

Heavy rains did not stop many who police turned away when they reached the highway. The crowd chanted "SOS Cuba" as a line of cars forced to a standstill honked their horns.

Anti-communist government protests broke out in Cuba on Sunday as the island faces an economic and freedom crisis. No less than 100 demonstrators, including journalists and activists have been taken off the streets by the regime.

"Biden, you should listen to the people here, the elected officials that are Cubans and know what is best for the people in Cuba," a woman with a sweatshirt covering her head from the rain told Fox News in Miami. "So just hear us out and try to come together to see what we can do."

Biden sort of praised the Cuban protesters on Monday.

"We stand with the Cuban people and their clarion call for freedom and relief from the tragic grip of the pandemic and from the decades of repression and economic suffering to which they have been subjected by Cuba's authoritarian regime," Biden said in a statement written by somebody else.

Biden's statement followed allegations from Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel that the U.S. is funding the demonstrators, which is weird since this administration is as far to the left as the Cuban government.

"We are facing tremendous genocide in Cuba," a a man holding an umbrella and wearing a beaded necklace with the Cuban flag told Fox News. "Joe Biden should help us. That’s what we are here for, asking for the White House to pronounce in favor of the people of Cuba."

The man said the Biden administration needs to do more than provide mumbled support.

"I think there’s a lot of things they can do to help us. We are asking for international aid," he said.

Meanwhile, Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Commie (DSA-NY) along with Reps. Rashida Tlaib (DSA-MI), Jamaal Bowman (DSA-NY),  and Cori Bush (DSA-MO) all Democratic Socialists of America, are standing behind the communist regime rather than the people who are oppressed by the regime. But the congress members aren't saying anything while the protests rage on because it might alert their constituents just what weasels they are and how much they really care for the downtrodden.

One can only wonder how unsafe these congressional representatives feel when they see the Cuban protesters waving the American flag.

Alexandria Obviously-Commie and her DSA leftists seem to back Cuban regime over protesters

AOC: "Oh my, what people will do to get their covid vaccination"

New York Rep[ulsive] Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (DSA-NY) along with three other House Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) have thus far kept their communist opinions to themselves while their DSA backs Cuba's communist regime as they arrest and in some cases, execute protesters who are demanding freedom and liberty.

Cortez, along with anti-Semite and Rashida Tlaib (DSA-MI), New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman (DSA) and Rep. Cori Bush (MO-DSA) are the four cretins who make up the DSA in Congress. All four of these scumwafers have avoided speaking up about the Cuban protests and refuse to do so, for to do so would expose them for what they are: communist ideologues who put their ideology over human lives.

AOC: "That guy in the green shirt must've triggered that poor Black man
with an American flag"

The DSA International Committee on Monday declared its solidarity with the "Revolution" – the term used by the communist regime initiated by Fidel Castro – "in this moment of unrest." The DSA's national arm also echoed Cuba's president in blaming America's trade embargo with the communist regime for the unrest. And here we thought our congressional representatives actually loved America.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist and a one-trick pony, broke his silence on the Cuban protests in a late-night tweet Monday that urged the Cuban government to "refrain from violence" while criticizing the U.S. for its embargo. He's another schmuck who loves communism and hates the country.

Cuba isn't the only socialist regime to receive positive treatment from the DSA. They sent a delegation in early June and met with fellow scumwafer dictator Nicolás Maduro.

If we continue to sleep, communism is going to be coming to your neighborhood soon.
