IDF expands control in Gaza by 70%: Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened the weekly Cabinet meeting with the sort of grim clarity that has become necessary in a nation fighting enemies on every border. Bibi reiterated that Israel now controls more than 60 percent of the Gaza Strip and will soon control 70 percent, a reality that underscores both the scale of the campaign and the determination behind it.

Israel, he said, is engaged in a war against terrorism on multiple fronts, not as a matter of political theater, but as a matter of national survival.

“In the Gaza Strip, we are clinching Hamas from all sides. … We don’t allow them to arm themselves or harm us, and we also eliminate their senior commanders,” he said. [Notice how their leaders are getting younger and younger.]

It is worth pausing on what such statements would sound like if uttered by almost any Western nation after enduring years of rocket fire, massacres, kidnappings, and relentless terror. Yet Israel alone is routinely expected to prosecute a war while simultaneously apologizing for waging it.

Netanyahu continued by detailing Israel’s operations in Lebanon, where Israeli forces killed 350 terrorists in “the past week alone.” The Israel Defense Forces, he noted, captured Beaufort Ridge, uncovered extensive underground terrorist infrastructure, and is completing the eradication of terror villages near the border.

“We are hitting them very hard, and we know that Hezbollah is on the run. We will not allow firing on our territory or on our communities, and we will act accordingly,” Israel’s leader said.

The language is direct because the reality is direct. Hezbollah is not a misunderstood social movement. Hamas is not a humanitarian organization with unfortunate side interests. These are terror entities whose stated objective is the destruction of the Jewish state and the murder of its citizens.

And still there are brainless anti-Zionists who either lie or believe that Israel is lying about the October 7 atrocities committed by Hamas in spite of the video evidence provided by the terrorists themselves.

Netanyahu also addressed the situation in Judea and Samaria, where Israeli security services continue to prevent attacks with relentless frequency.

“In Judea and Samaria, along the seam line, the IDF, the Shin Bet and the Israel police thwart hundreds of terror attacks a year,” he said.

But even the most vigilant security apparatus cannot stop every act of barbarism. Netanyahu acknowledged this painful truth while referring to Sunday morning’s terrorist attack in central Israel, which killed one civilian and wounded several others.

According to Channel 12, the attack was carried out by a lone terrorist identified as Omar Yassin, a 21-year-old resident of Taibeh, an Arab city in central Israel. Israeli forces subsequently raided his home.

Netanyahu thanked the security forces who acted swiftly to eliminate the terrorist and capture his associate, a reminder that in Israel, the distance between ordinary life and sudden atrocity is often measured in seconds, and that the burden placed upon its security services is one few other democracies could endure for long.

IDF kills one, arrests another after stone-throwing attack near West Bank highway

In yet another reminder of the daily realities faced by Israelis living under the permanent threat of violence, IDF troops have opened fire on three Palestinian [wherever that is] terrorists who were hurling stones at vehicles on a highway in Judea and Samaria. One was killed, one incapacitated, and the third taken into custody.

The actions of the suspects "endangered the civilians who were driving along the route," the IDF stated with characteristic understatement.

The soldiers, from the 890th Paratroopers Brigade, were operating near the village of Azun, close to Nablus, an area that has long served as a staging ground for such attacks. No Israeli troops were injured.

One is left to wonder how many more times the international press will describe the throwing of rocks capable of killing motorists as some form of legitimate "protest," while the measured response required to stop it is branded "excessive force." 

The arithmetic of survival in that part of the world remains stubbornly simple: Israeli drivers wish merely to reach home alive; those who try to murder them from the roadside must expect that the IDF will do whatever is necessary to ensure they do.

Shin Bet thwarts planned attacks in Judea and Samaria: 40 Bethlehem terrorists arrested

Oh, the sweet sound of terrorists getting the old heave-ho from their dream vacation in an Israeli jail cell. The Shin Bet, Israel's answer to James Bond [if 007 preferred wiretaps over martinis] announced Thursday that they've scooped up about 40 jihadi scumcrumpets from Bethlehem in what can only be described as a blockbuster bust. These cretins were all geared up for a series of imminent attacks, but thanks to some sharp-eyed spooks, their big day got rained out. Permanently.

Look, if you're Hamas or one of those other West Bank wannabe kingpins licking your wounds after Gaza turned into your personal Thunderdome, this is the kind of news that makes you spill your falafel. The sheer scale of these multiple cells? It's like yanking the plug on their entire "Operation: Let's Pretend We're Tough" playbook. A strategic gut-punch when they're already playing catch-up in the sandpit.

It's the first time the Shin Bet's gone public with a caper this juicy since David Zini slid into the director's chair on October 5. Zini's been itching to put his stamp on the agency after months of that glorious Israeli political circus, Netanyahu vs. the legal eagles and opposition screamers, all arm-wrestling over his gig like it was the last hummus plate at a Tel Aviv dive bar. 

Well, mission accomplished, Dave, for turning a terror plot into tomorrow's indictment fodder.

For context, the Shin Bet's been busy lately, but nothing on this level. They just aired out a Tiberias local moonlighting as Iran's errand boy, classic Mad Magazine spy-vs-spy drudgery, and nabbed some Iranian smuggled goodies trying to sneak across from Jordan into Judea and Samaria. Cute, but no cigar compared to foiling a full-on shooting spree.

This wasn't a solo act, mind you. Zini and his crew teamed up with the IDF and Israel Police for a multi-week counterterrorism extravaganza. Shoutout to the IDF's Etzion Brigade reservists, Duvdevan commandos, and the LOTAR anti-terror unit, who ran a whopping 15 ops in lockstep with the Shin Bet to bag these weasels.

Part of the haul was a nice little arsenal, including M-16s.  According to the Shin Bet, there were these mastermind types[think less Scarface, more sad-sack community college dropouts] systematically recruiting and stacking terrorist cells for a barrage of shooting attacks on Israeli civilians and IDF troops. 

One cell was so "imminent" they were basically one butts-up prayer away from pulling triggers when the good guys crashed the party.

The Shin Bet is not resting on its laurels, either. "It said it would continue to act with other security bodies to prevent terrorists from causing harm." And they've already shoveled the evidence over to the IDF's West Bank Prosecution to tee up indictments. Because in Israel, justice isn't a suggestion, it's the encore.

In a world where too many folks treat terrorism like it's just "passionate activism," kudos to the Shin Bet for reminding everyone: Plot against us, and we'll plot your downfall. With receipts.

Heroic civilian stops terrorists forever in Gosh Etzion

Israeli authorities are calling it a cold-blooded, meticulously planned hit. One of the jihadis, trained for three months in Qatar, prowled the bustling Rami Levy parking lot in Gush Etzion for 40 minutes Thursday afternoon, as hia eyes scanned for the perfect moment to kill unarmed Israelis.

Earlier today, a savage stabbing and shooting attack at the supermarket claimed the life of 22-year-old Israeli security guard Shalev Zevuloni. The kid didn’t stand a chance.

The attackers were two Palestinian Authority police officers, Mahmoud Yosef Aabed, 23, from Halhul, and Maalek Ibrahim Salem, 23, from Tulkarem. 

They rolled up in a stolen ride with yellow plates, pure Jew hatred in their dirty hearts. At the store’s entrance, they pounced, stabbing Zevuloni multiple times, snatching his handgun, and pumping bullets into him before trying to storm the supermarket to slaughter civilians.

But they didn’t count on the Tekoa settlement’s civilian security chief (Ravshatz) and an IDF soldier being close enough to act. They weren't unarmed like the civilians that were targeted.

The duo dropped the attackers in their tracks, stopping a bloodbath. 

The security chief, still catching his breath, said, "By the grace of heaven, I was at the complex and neutralized the vile terrorists, preventing harm to more civilians." 

Damn right he did. Israeli officials say the scumcrumpets, one sharpened by three months of military training in Qatar, picked the chaotic Thursday afternoon rush for maximum carnage. They circled the lot for 40 minutes, blending in, plotting. Chilling doesn’t begin to cover it.

The IDF’s response was swift, sealing Hebron and Bethlehem, throwing up checkpoints in Hebron’s core, and locking down Halhul, where one of the attackers lived. They’re holding the bodies, and the Palestinian Authority’s on high alert, scrambling to sniff out any more rogue cops in their ranks. "We’ve raised our alert level dramatically to check for additional rogue elements and prevent similar copycat attacks," the PA said.

And the left calls Israel an apartheid state in spite of the Muslims who work there and even attend mosque there.

This marks the 19th deadly Palestinian attack in Judea and Samaria in 2025, riding the wave of tension since Hamas’s October 7, 2023, massacre that left 1,200 Israelis dead. The X platform’s buzzing with praise for the security chief’s courage, one user posting, "The Ravshatz saved countless lives, true courage under fire." 

With Gaza ceasefire talks stuck in the mud and PA-Israel security coordination fraying, this attack’s a gut punch. The PA’s US-funded training programs? Yeah, those are getting a hard side-eye now. The whole region’s a powder keg, as it historically always was, and this is just the latest spark.

IDF virginizes Islamic Jihad's Jenin terror honcho

In a move that should surprise no one paying attention, Israeli security forces took out Noor Beitawi, the head honcho of Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s terrorist network in Jenin, in a Nablus operation on Friday. 

The IDF didn’t mince words, calling Beitawi the mastermind behind a slew of terrorist plots, bankrolling and orchestrating attacks on Israeli civilians and security personnel like it was his day job. Apparently, he was also cozy with Hamas bigwigs in Gaza and beyond, because why not network with the worst of the worst?

The IDF laid it out: Beitawi was funneling cash to terror cells in Jenin and nearby villages, recruiting goons, arming them to the teeth, and overseeing a bomb-making operation aimed at Israeli soldiers. This guy wasn’t just a cog in the machine—he was the whole darn engine. Wanted for months, he tried to pull a fast one, fleeing Jenin for Nablus after a counter-terrorism op in northern Samaria. Spoiler alert: it didn’t work out for him.

Thanks to some sharp intel from the Shin Bet, Israeli forces tracked Beitawi to a hideout in Nablus, surrounded the place, and sent him and another terrorist to the great beyond. “Israeli security forces will continue to act against terrorism in Judea and Samaria to ensure the security of Israeli citizens,” the IDF said, sounding like they mean business. 

Since “Operation Iron Wall” kicked off on Jan. 21, the IDF’s been on a tear, taking out over 100 terrorists, nabbing 320 wanted suspects, and seizing 450 weapons in Judea and Samaria. They’ve also dismantled hundreds of IEDs, pipe bombs, and blown up bomb labs and weapons caches like it’s a demolition derby. Since the Hamas-led atrocity fest on Oct. 7, 2023, Israeli forces have neutralized over 700 terrorists in the region, including 36 high-ranking dirtbags from various terror groups. 

Meanwhile, the hits keep coming. On Thursday, terrorists pelted an Israeli car and bus with rocks near Na’ama in the Jordan Valley, lightly injuring a baby. A baby. Let that sink in. The infant got medical attention on-site, but the sheer gall of these attacks is enough to make your blood boil. Just a day earlier, two people were seriously wounded in a terrorist attack near the Reihan Crossing, and in the Hebron Hills, another genius tried to ram Israeli troops before coming at them with a knife. He’s not around to tell the tale.

According to Rescuers Without Borders, Palestinian terrorists targeted Israeli Jews in Judea and Samaria a staggering 6,343 times in 2024. That’s not a typo. Twenty-seven Israelis were murdered, and over 300 were wounded. This isn’t a game—it’s a relentless war on civilians, and Israel’s not sitting back sipping coffee while it happens. Keep swinging, IDF.

Pres. Trump cancels sanctions on Judea and Samaria residents

Joe Biden, or whoever was handling him, did not like Jews and detested Israel.

The Biden devastation's Executive order which applied sanctions on the Jews of Judea and Samaria was revoked by President Donald Trump within hours of being sworn in as the 47th President of the United States of America, proving that Biden is not only a garbage Catholic with his support of abortion, and a corrupt politician, with his son as 'bagman,' and a liar and a sneak, he is also an anti-Semite.

The rescinded orders by Trump were part of a mass reversal of Biden-era policies. 

Last February, then-alleged-President Joe Biden signed an executive order declaring a national emergency to deal with the “threat posed by the situation in the West Bank, including in particular high levels of extremist settler violence, forced displacement of people and villages, and property destruction,” imposing sanctions on those who were considered to be involved in such actions, Israel National News reported. The West Bank, by the way, is actually Judea and Samaria, but spineless political actors don't want to offend terrorists, lest they enter their gated communities and steal their women or worse.

Biden sanctioned 2 Israeli-Americans: a targeting regime in Judea and Samaria, as federal lawsuit shows

"No joke"

JERUSALEM—The Biden administration sanctioned two Israeli-Americans as part of a regime targeting settlers in Judea and Samaria, aka the West Bank, a federal lawsuit filed on Thursday revealed.

The Americans, who are also Israeli citizens, sued the Biden administration in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, claiming the sanctions violated their constitutional rights to due process and equal protection. According to attorneys for the plaintiffs, the obviously incompetent administration appears not to have known it was sanctioning Americans. 

Who did they think they are, chopped liver?

"The Biden administration has carried out this sanctions program with scant regard for the underlying facts and scant independent investigation, relying instead on the say-so of virulently anti-Israel groups in order to impose life-changing penalties on people," Eugene Kontorovich, a legal consultant on the lawsuit and a professor at George Mason University Law School, told the Washington Free Beacon.

Because the sanctions are based on an executive order by President Joe Biden, President-elect Donald Trump could reverse them after he takes office on Jan. 20. But the lawsuit is about more than sanctions relief for the plaintiffs. It also takes aim at the notion, pushed by a global network of anti-Israel organizations, that the settlements are a root cause of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

"These groups have basically co-opted the State Department to help them make Judea and Samaria ‘judenrein,’" Kontorovich said, using the biblical name for the West Bank. "That’s what they’re trying to achieve."

The State Department declined to answer questions about the lawsuit, telling the Free Beacon, "As a general matter, we do not comment on ongoing or pending litigation."

Biden created the sanctions regime in February with an executive order saying "the situation in the West Bank—in particular high levels of extremist settler violence, forced displacement of people and villages, and property destruction—has reached intolerable levels and constitutes a serious threat to the peace, security, and stability of the West Bank and Gaza, Israel, and the broader Middle East region." Based on the directive, the Biden administration has imposed several rounds of sanctions on Israelis over the past year, targeting 17 individuals and 16 organizations for alleged involvement in violence against or displacement of Palestinians in the West Bank.

Of those sanctioned, the plaintiffs in the lawsuit, Issachar Manne and Levi Yitzchak Pilant, were the first to be publicly identified as U.S. citizens. Both men are residents of the West Bank who were born in Israel to parents who immigrated from the United States.

Manne, 41, a farmer and shepherd in the South Hebron Hills and a married father of six, was sanctioned in July. The State Department claimed he had established a farm "on pastureland belonging to the Palestinian community, and settlers from this outpost regularly attack community shepherds and prevent their access to pastureland through acts of violence." His farm was also sanctioned.

Pilant, the head of security in Yitzhar, a settlement in the northern West Bank, and a married father of eight, was sanctioned in August. The State Department alleged, "Although Pilant’s role is akin to a security or law enforcement officer, he has engaged in malign activities outside the scope of his authority. In February 2024, he led a group of armed settlers to set up roadblocks and conduct patrols to pursue and attack Palestinians in their lands and forcefully expel them from their lands."

Manne and Pilant’s attorneys said the Biden administration’s sanctions on the men are based on allegations that are "completely false and lack support or evidence."

Manne leases land from the World Zionist Organization, and none of the area that he farms or uses for grazing is recognized by Israel as private Palestinian land. Manne has "never engaged in violence against Palestinians" and has "never appropriated, nor has he sought to appropriate, land under private Palestinian ownership or otherwise designated by the Israeli government as private or restricted," according to the lawsuit.

Pilant leads an armed civilian security force that defends a defined perimeter around Yitzhar as authorized by the Israeli military.

"In carrying out his official duties to combat Palestinian terrorism and as instructed by his superior officers, on February 17, 2024, Pilant set up roadblocks in order to prevent the smuggling of ammunition and terrorists. These roadblocks were authorized by the [military], the maintenance of which was a formal part of Pilant’s duties," the lawsuit said. "Pilant has never engaged in violence against Palestinians at any time."

According to the attorneys, the Biden administration appears to have targeted Manne and Pilant on the basis of flawed reporting by activist groups that are ideologically opposed to any Jewish presence in the West Bank.

B’Tselem, an Israeli human rights group funded mostly by international donors, including anti-Israel billionaire George Soros, has for years focused on Manne as an icon of Israel’s "apartheid regime." In a 2020 report, B’Tselem claimed that the farm had greatly "expanded" in the past year and that "[v]iolence by settlers from the farm has significantly limited the pastureland used by local Palestinian shepherds."

DAWN, a Soros-funded anti-Israel group led by Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers, called on the Biden administration to sanction Pilant two days before it did so. A dossier that DAWN submitted to the administration made allegations against Pilant that closely resembled those in the sanctions announcement, including in relation to the February 2024 incident involving roadblocks and alleged violence against Palestinians. The State Department even matched DAWN’s misspelling of Pilant’s name as "Filant."

As a result of the sanctions, Manne and Pilant have had their bank accounts frozen and their credit cards disabled, making it difficult for them to make or receive essential payments. Manne has struggled to pay his mortgage or keep his cell phone plan active.

"This is something I might expect from Russia," he told the Free Beacon. "But I thought the United States was a democratic country. It’s really unbelievable."

A number of other Israelis sanctioned by the Biden administration have publicly disputed the allegations against them. In July, the administration mistakenly sanctioned an Israeli reserve soldier whom it confused with a leader of Tzav 9, a protest movement that has sought to block humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza. After the soldier complained, the mistake was corrected.

When it comes to the Americans, the Biden administration’s mistakes amount to a violation of constitutional rights, according to the lawsuit. The attorneys argued that Biden’s executive order cannot be applied to U.S. citizens since the language refers to "foreign person[s]."

"There was no statutory or other lawful basis to sanction Plaintiffs under [the executive order], and absent such a lawful basis, the Defendants’ deprivation of their aforestated interest violated their right to Due Process under the Fifth Amendment," the attorneys wrote. "Additionally, Defendants failed to perform any basic fact-finding prior to implementing and enforcing the [executive order] in such a one-sided and draconian manner."

The Biden administration also violated Manne and Pilant’s right to equal protection by targeting them as Jews, according to the lawsuit.

"This is all the more striking because there are thousands of Palestinians who have engaged in terrorist attacks on Jewish civilians that unquestionably threaten the ‘peace, security, or stability of the West Bank,’" the attorneys wrote.

The lawsuit cited data released earlier this week by the Shin Bet that showed Israel’s internal security service thwarted 1,040 major Palestinian terrorist attacks in the West Bank in 2024.

Sen. Tom Cotton introduces bill to mandate federal usage of term 'Judea and Samaria' instead of 'West Bank'

US Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK) has introduced legislation that would ban the term "West Bank" by the federal government and use the term "Judea and Samaria" instead.

On Thursday, Senator Cotton introduced a bill called the "Retiring the Egregious Confusion Over the Genuine Name of Israel's Zone of Influence by Necessitating Government-use of Judea and Samaria (RECOGNIZING Judea and Samaria) Act." He explained that this new law would "align US policy language with the geographical and cultural significance of the region."

“The Jewish people’s legal and historic rights to Judea and Samaria goes back thousands of years. The US should stop using the politically charged term West Bank to refer to the biblical heartland of Israel,” Cotton stated.

U.S. Representative Claudia Tenney from New York, who is known for her strong support for Israel, also backed the bill. She said that using the names Judea and Samaria officially is important for "defending the integrity of the Jewish state."

“The Israeli people have an undeniable and indisputable historical and legal claim over Judea and Samaria, and at this critical moment in history, the United States must reaffirm this,” Tenney said. “This bill reaffirms Israel’s rightful claim to its territory. I remain committed to defending the integrity of the Jewish state and fully supporting Israel’s sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.”

US President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, has vowed to use the words Judea and Samaria instead of the West Bank.

“I can’t say something I don’t believe. As you well know, I’ve never been willing to use the term ‘West Bank.’ There is no such thing. I speak of Judea and Samaria,” Huckabee told Israeli media outlet Arutz Sheva in an interview. “I tell people there is no ‘occupation.’ It is a land that is ‘occupied’ by the people who have had a rightful deed to the place for 3,500 years, since the time of Abraham.”

If the US federal government were to officially use Judea and Samaria instead of the West Bank, it would be adopting terminology favored by Israel. This could show that US policy is moving closer to supporting Israel and might encourage more Jewish settlements in the area.

However, critics argue that changing the language could stir up more conflict in the Middle East, making it harder to achieve a two-state solution for peace between Israel and Palestine.

After the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, where Israel gained independence, Jordan began using the term "West Bank" for the region west of the Jordan River that it controlled. Since Israel took over this area during the Six-Day War in 1967, it has referred to it as Judea and Samaria.

IDF ends over 100 terrorists, destroys labs in Judea and Samaria

In the past week, the IDF has conducted extensive counter-terrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria area in the Jordan Valley, and the Gaza Strip, resulting in the elimination of over 100 terrorists and the seizure of numerous weapons and explosives, according to a military statement released on Friday evening.

In operations based in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Far'a, around 35 terrorists were killed, and 45 others were apprehended. The military also reported the successful confiscation of dozens of weapons and explosives, culminating in the destruction of three explosive laboratories.

In the North, the military executed around 50 strikes targeting buildings, infrastructure, and weapon storage sites, along with multiple rocket launchers aimed at northern communities.

In the Gaza Strip, the IDF successfully dismantled over 40 terror infrastructures, including Hamas command and control centers that were covertly operating as schools, colleges, and humanitarian facilities. During these Gaza operations, over 100 terrorists were eliminated, and several tunnel shafts were uncovered.

"We will revive suicide bombing to defeat Israel," a Hamas official said Wednesday. He was referring to people other than himself as he is too important to blow up even though he'd get rewarded 72 virgins with extraordinary talents, goat's milk being just one of them.

Khaled Mashal spoke in Turkey where called upon so called Palestinians to blow themselves up in close proximity of Israelis. [H/T Sky News Arabia] He told the outlet that the Arabs are indeed planning to become martyrs.

Mashal urged a widespread uprising among Arab citizens of Israel, as well as those living in Palestinian Authority-controlled regions in Judea and Samaria, to engage in attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers. Of course, if Israel intentionally attacked civilians, like Hamas intentionally does, the world would condemn the Jewish State.
“Actual resistance against the Zionist entity is the need of the hour,” the terrorist scumcrumpet said.

Israel’s anti-terror raids in Judea and Samaria and the ongoing fighting in the Gaza Strip “can only be addressed by open conflict,” Mashal said.

“They are fighting us with open conflict, and we are confronting them with open conflict.”

In what seemed to reference the assassination of Hamas politburo head Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, Mashal said, “The enemy has initiated the conflict on all fronts, targeting us all, regardless of whether we are actively fighting or not.”

It looks as if he forgot about October 7th as to who initiated the conflict.
“I repeat my call to everyone to participate on multiple fronts in the actual resistance against the Zionist entity,” he added.

He also implored students in universities throughout the world to stage mass anti-Israel protests and many of them are so misinformed and/or stupid, they will.

“With the return of the academic year and the approach of the first anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation [October 7th massacres], there must be a preparation at all fronts…to send a message to Washington and the world to stop the aggression on Gaza,” the concluded.

The Hamasshole is a staunch opponent of ending the Israeli-Arab conflict, even though it would give Palestinians an independent homeland, with Israel remaining intact, because he isn't risking his life but asks others to risk theirs.

Mashal instead has stressed that all of Israel, Gaza, and Judea and Samaria should become a Palestinian state, and then the rest of Europe and eventually the US and so on.

“We reject the two-state solution idea. Our goal is clear, a Palestinian state from the river to the sea, from north to south,” Mashal said.

He may be the next coward in the IDF's crosshairs.

IDF launches humongous raid in Judea and Samaria

The Israeli Defense Forces launched an enormous strike on targets in Judea and Samaria, [aka West Bank] on Tuesday. They hit "Islamic-Iranian terrorist infrastructure" and said that Iran was trying to establish an "eastern front" against the Jewish State, according to CNN.

“We must deal with the threat just as we deal with the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza, including the temporary evacuation of Palestinian residents and whatever steps are required,” Foreign Minister Israel Katz tweeted on X. “This is a war for all terms and purposes and we must win it."

IDF spokesperson Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani said in a briefing that Israel had identified “a systematic strategy in Iran” of smuggling weapons and explosives into the West Bank.

“Specifically, about Jenin and Tulkarm, we’ve seen over 150 shooting and explosive attacks originated from these areas alone over the past year,” he said on Wednesday.

Early indications revealed a significant, coordinated Israeli operation involving drones, bulldozers, military and security forces, four battalions of the Israel Border Police, and an elite unit of undercover troops. Video obtained by CNN showed bulldozers tearing up a street in a developed area of Tulkarem and moving in a convoy through Jenin.

Additional footage released by the IDF showed what it said was a strike on a militant operations room in the refugee camp Nur Shams, near Tulkarem.

Arab deaths were reported in Tubas and Jenin, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS). The Ministry of Health, an oxymoron, later confirmed that an Arab had been killed by gunfire in the town of Kafr Dan in the Jenin district, raising the death toll to 10, in a FAFO operation by IDF troops.

Hamas has issued a call for "general mobilization" after the recent strike. This seems somewhat ironic, given that every Hamas fighter capable of walking and shooting has already been engaged with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) for months.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the White House has stated that it supports Israel’s right to defend itself. However, it has also emphasized that Israel must conduct its defense in a manner that minimizes civilian casualties and avoids damaging civilian infrastructure.
“It will reach a boiling point,” Ofer Shelah, a military analyst with the Tel Aviv-based Institute for National Security Studies, said of the broader situation. He said the IDF "are very worried about what's going on there."

The PRCS reported that the military had set up checkpoints to cordon off Jenin, Tulkarem, and the Al-Far’a refugee camp near Tubas. Israeli military vehicles surrounded the main hospitals in Jenin and Tulkarem, controlling access and checking the identities of those arriving by ambulance, according to the Red Crescent. The Israeli military stated that its actions were aimed at preventing militants from embedding themselves in hospitals and using them as combat zones, which is how they like to operate.

The military operation followed reports from Palestinian health officials that five Arabs were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Monday night in Nur Shams, near Tulkarem. Among those who died, one had been recently freed as part of a cease-fire agreement with Hamas in November, while another was reportedly engaged in making explosive devices, according to the Israeli military.
Attacking Arab terrorists in Jenin is not going to widen the war. And it sends a very strong signal to Iran to stop meddling in the fight against Hamas.

Biden hasn't given up trying to rein in Netanyahu, but he's realizing that the Israeli prime minister has an agenda that won't be fulfilled until the threat to Israel is extinguished.
