IDF expands control in Gaza by 70%: Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened the weekly Cabinet meeting with the sort of grim clarity that has become necessary in a nation fighting enemies on every border. Bibi reiterated that Israel now controls more than 60 percent of the Gaza Strip and will soon control 70 percent, a reality that underscores both the scale of the campaign and the determination behind it.

Israel, he said, is engaged in a war against terrorism on multiple fronts, not as a matter of political theater, but as a matter of national survival.

“In the Gaza Strip, we are clinching Hamas from all sides. … We don’t allow them to arm themselves or harm us, and we also eliminate their senior commanders,” he said. [Notice how their leaders are getting younger and younger.]

It is worth pausing on what such statements would sound like if uttered by almost any Western nation after enduring years of rocket fire, massacres, kidnappings, and relentless terror. Yet Israel alone is routinely expected to prosecute a war while simultaneously apologizing for waging it.

Netanyahu continued by detailing Israel’s operations in Lebanon, where Israeli forces killed 350 terrorists in “the past week alone.” The Israel Defense Forces, he noted, captured Beaufort Ridge, uncovered extensive underground terrorist infrastructure, and is completing the eradication of terror villages near the border.

“We are hitting them very hard, and we know that Hezbollah is on the run. We will not allow firing on our territory or on our communities, and we will act accordingly,” Israel’s leader said.

The language is direct because the reality is direct. Hezbollah is not a misunderstood social movement. Hamas is not a humanitarian organization with unfortunate side interests. These are terror entities whose stated objective is the destruction of the Jewish state and the murder of its citizens.

And still there are brainless anti-Zionists who either lie or believe that Israel is lying about the October 7 atrocities committed by Hamas in spite of the video evidence provided by the terrorists themselves.

Netanyahu also addressed the situation in Judea and Samaria, where Israeli security services continue to prevent attacks with relentless frequency.

“In Judea and Samaria, along the seam line, the IDF, the Shin Bet and the Israel police thwart hundreds of terror attacks a year,” he said.

But even the most vigilant security apparatus cannot stop every act of barbarism. Netanyahu acknowledged this painful truth while referring to Sunday morning’s terrorist attack in central Israel, which killed one civilian and wounded several others.

According to Channel 12, the attack was carried out by a lone terrorist identified as Omar Yassin, a 21-year-old resident of Taibeh, an Arab city in central Israel. Israeli forces subsequently raided his home.

Netanyahu thanked the security forces who acted swiftly to eliminate the terrorist and capture his associate, a reminder that in Israel, the distance between ordinary life and sudden atrocity is often measured in seconds, and that the burden placed upon its security services is one few other democracies could endure for long.

REPORT: Mohammed Odeh, responsible for the 10/7 murder, kidnapping, and injury of numerous Israeli civilians and soldiers dead

Israel announced on Tuesday that the Israel Defense Forces had carried out a strike in Gaza targeting Mohammed Odeh, [the surname 'h' is pronounced as an 'r'] whom officials identified as the new leader of Hamas’s military wing and a senior figure involved in the October 7 attack on Israel.

An Israeli official told Kan News that Odeh was killed in the strike, though his death has not yet been officially confirmed.

In a joint statement, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz declared that the operation had been conducted under their direction and had targeted Odeh, “one of the architects of the Oct. 7 massacre.”

According to the statement, Odeh had served as head of Hamas intelligence staff during the October 7 attack and had been appointed only about a week earlier to replace Izz al-Din al-Haddad.

Odeh “was responsible for the murder, abduction, and injury of many Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers,” the statement said.

Israeli officials reported that al-Haddad himself had been killed in an IDF strike in the Gaza Strip some two weeks earlier. Al-Haddad had been the head of Hamas’s military wing, one of the central planners behind numerous terror attacks, and among the last remaining senior figures involved in orchestrating the October 7 massacre. He had belonged to Hamas for roughly three decades and was regarded by Israel as a major threat to both civilians and soldiers alike.

Netanyahu and Katz praised the Israeli military and security services for the precision of the strike.

“Congratulations to the IDF and the Shin Bet for their ongoing efforts to eliminate our enemies,” the statement said, repeating Israel’s solemn pledge to continue targeting those connected to October 7.

“We will continue to pursue everyone who took part in the Oct. 7 massacre. Sooner or later, Israel will reach all of them,” the statement said.

The announcement identified Odeh as merely the latest senior Hamas figure to assume a leadership role in the group’s military wing, only to meet the same fate as his predecessors following recent Israeli operations in Gaza. In this grim but necessary accounting, the architects of that day of slaughter find no refuge.

Israelis now hunting the October 7 terrorists

After Hamas terrorists’ orgy of rape, torture, mutilation, and murder on October 7, 2023, the IDF began its war to destroy Hamas inside Gaza. At the same time, the Israelis wanted to make sure that a subset of Hamas members, those terrorists who took part in the October 7 attack in any capacity, would be hunted down and killed. To this end, the IDF established an elite group to locate, and then to summarily execute, those who were participants in the atrocities. 

The task force is called NILI, an acronym of “Netzach Yisrael Lo Yeshaker” (“The Eternal One of Israel does not lie”), signifying that no victim of the attack would be forgotten.

The Hebrew text from which the acronym NILI was formed comes from the Bible, 1 Samuel 15:29. A spy ring of Jewish pioneers, which the world-famous agronomist Aaron Aaronsohn led during World War I, also used the acronym NILI.

 

Aaronsohn and his associates collected information of military value about the Ottoman Turks in Palestine, and provided it to the British forces then in Egypt. It was dangerous work. The Turks caught Aaronsohn’s sister Sarah, and after four days of torture, she committed suicide. The Turks executed many more of the NILI spies. 

The information the NILI spies provided proved to be of immense value to the British, and enabled them to take Beersheba from the Turks. There is in Jerusalem a street named in honor of the group, Rehov Nili.

“The clear message to all future enemies is to think again about the price of a terrorist operation like that,” said Shalom Ben Hanan, a former senior official in the Shin Bet (Israeli Security Agency).

Take part in such terror operations as that on October 7 against Israelis, and sooner or later, the long arm of Israel will reach and destroy you, no matter how long it takes.

Do harm to Israelis of the kind done on October 7, 2023, and you will be pursued relentlessly, whether an elite group called NILI or the regular soldiers of the IDF do the pursuing. “Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there?” 

Yes, there is “balm in Gilead,” to sooth the souls of the survivors. Every dead terrorist increases the amount.

Three Oct. 7 Terrorists Arrested in Rahat: Weapons Seized

Security sources are pushing back hard against claims that three Gaza terrorists arrested in the Bedouin city of Rahat last week sneaked into Israel during Hamas's barbaric October 7, 2023, massacre. According to reports from KAN News and others, the trio had valid work permits and were already inside the country before the attack even happened.

Israeli police initially touted the arrests as a big win, announcing they'd nabbed three Gazans who infiltrated "under the cover" of the October 7 onslaught, over two years later, during a raid in Rahat as part of a broader crackdown on crime and illegal weapons.

But wait, hold the victory lap. 

Security officials quickly shot that down, saying there's zero evidence these guys crossed during the massacre. Instead, they entered legally pre-war with permits, then just . . . stayed put after Israel revoked all Gazan labor entries once the fighting kicked off. During the raid, cops uncovered a stash of goodies: 50 rounds of 9mm ammo, loose 7.62 Kalashnikov rounds, and an iron lathe authorities suspect was being used for "weapons-related activity."

The suspects and seized items were handed over to Shin Bet for further interrogation.

Rahat, the largest Bedouin city in southern Israel just north of Beersheba, has popped up before in these stories. Back in early November 2023, about a month after the massacre, two actual Hamas terrorists who did infiltrate on October 7 were nabbed hiding there.

This latest bust highlights the ongoing mess from those pre-war policies letting thousands of Gazans work inside Israel; policies that, critics argue, helped set the stage for intelligence blind spots and security headaches leading up to the deadliest day in Israeli history.

Shin Bet thwarts planned attacks in Judea and Samaria: 40 Bethlehem terrorists arrested

Oh, the sweet sound of terrorists getting the old heave-ho from their dream vacation in an Israeli jail cell. The Shin Bet, Israel's answer to James Bond [if 007 preferred wiretaps over martinis] announced Thursday that they've scooped up about 40 jihadi scumcrumpets from Bethlehem in what can only be described as a blockbuster bust. These cretins were all geared up for a series of imminent attacks, but thanks to some sharp-eyed spooks, their big day got rained out. Permanently.

Look, if you're Hamas or one of those other West Bank wannabe kingpins licking your wounds after Gaza turned into your personal Thunderdome, this is the kind of news that makes you spill your falafel. The sheer scale of these multiple cells? It's like yanking the plug on their entire "Operation: Let's Pretend We're Tough" playbook. A strategic gut-punch when they're already playing catch-up in the sandpit.

It's the first time the Shin Bet's gone public with a caper this juicy since David Zini slid into the director's chair on October 5. Zini's been itching to put his stamp on the agency after months of that glorious Israeli political circus, Netanyahu vs. the legal eagles and opposition screamers, all arm-wrestling over his gig like it was the last hummus plate at a Tel Aviv dive bar. 

Well, mission accomplished, Dave, for turning a terror plot into tomorrow's indictment fodder.

For context, the Shin Bet's been busy lately, but nothing on this level. They just aired out a Tiberias local moonlighting as Iran's errand boy, classic Mad Magazine spy-vs-spy drudgery, and nabbed some Iranian smuggled goodies trying to sneak across from Jordan into Judea and Samaria. Cute, but no cigar compared to foiling a full-on shooting spree.

This wasn't a solo act, mind you. Zini and his crew teamed up with the IDF and Israel Police for a multi-week counterterrorism extravaganza. Shoutout to the IDF's Etzion Brigade reservists, Duvdevan commandos, and the LOTAR anti-terror unit, who ran a whopping 15 ops in lockstep with the Shin Bet to bag these weasels.

Part of the haul was a nice little arsenal, including M-16s.  According to the Shin Bet, there were these mastermind types[think less Scarface, more sad-sack community college dropouts] systematically recruiting and stacking terrorist cells for a barrage of shooting attacks on Israeli civilians and IDF troops. 

One cell was so "imminent" they were basically one butts-up prayer away from pulling triggers when the good guys crashed the party.

The Shin Bet is not resting on its laurels, either. "It said it would continue to act with other security bodies to prevent terrorists from causing harm." And they've already shoveled the evidence over to the IDF's West Bank Prosecution to tee up indictments. Because in Israel, justice isn't a suggestion, it's the encore.

In a world where too many folks treat terrorism like it's just "passionate activism," kudos to the Shin Bet for reminding everyone: Plot against us, and we'll plot your downfall. With receipts.

Big deal: prisoner release ratio lowest in decades

Folks, if you're anything like me, you've been following this whole Gaza hostage tango with the enthusiasm of a root canal. But here's a plot twist that doesn't involve exploding pagers: Israel, in a move that's got more restraint than a vegan at a steakhouse, is set to release 1,700 Palestinian security prisoners in exchange for 48 hostages—20 of whom are possibly still breathing. And get this: it's the lowest ratio of bad guys for good guys in decades, according to Walla. Because apparently, even in hostage poker, Israel is playing not to get fleeced.

The final list is a paltry 195 lifers, with only 60 being Hamas operatives. For context, and oh boy, does this sting for the tunnel-dwellers, in the infamous Shalit deal back in 2011, Israel coughed up 450 Hamassholes, including some of the biggest names in the "murder Israelis for fun and profit" club. This time around, however, the 1,700 Gaza detainees who will be released will not be the terrorists who raided on October 7, 2023, and the release of Hamas operatives has been limited as much as possible. 

Shin Bet, you magnificent ba$tard$, take a bow.

These spooks didn't just draw lines in the sand; they etched them in granite. Right from the start, they laid down the law on who wouldn't be strolling out of the slammer, and Hamas's tantrums be damned. The terror outfit's wish list included their top 25 bigwigs, think Yahya Sinwar's rotting corpse and his brother Muhammad's, too. Nope. Vetoed faster than an ADHD rabbit on Red Bull. 

Shin Bet's no-fly list clocked in at about 100 names: Hamas brass, bomb whisperers, infrastructure honchos, and, God help us, the child murderers. Yeah, those scumbags like the PFLP thugs who killed the entire Fogel family back in March 2011. Yoav, 11; Elad, 4; their three-month-old sister; and parents Ehud and Ruth, hacked to bits. Only the older kids survived that nightmare. Those evil pieces of human excrement are still rotting where they belong.

Hamas was hot to get their A-listers out of Israel's prison but the Jewish state drew a line in the sand, wider than Jerry Nadler's butt, and said "no way" to the whole crew. For examples:

Ibrahim Hamed—Hamas's West Bank military wing boss during the Second Intifada, the evil scumquat behind suicide blasts that turned Cafe Moment in Jerusalem and the Sheffield Club in Rishon LeZion into charnel houses. Dozens killed and Hamed gets to stay where he belongs.

Ahmed Saadat—Secretary-General of the fightin' Hamassholes of the West Bank, the poster boy for plotting the hit on Minister Rehavam Ze'evi. They've been begging for this asshat since Shalit and through every ceasefire whimper this war. No dice Ahmed.

Marwan Barghouti—Palestinian rock star from the First Intifada, Tanzim ringleader in the West Bank. Convicted for a laundry list of Israeli murders. Symbol of "leadership," sure, like Joe Biden was the symbol of brilliance. 

Hassan Salameh—Senior Hamas suit, architect of bomb attacks that left dozens of Israelis in body bags. He gets to stay too.

Abbas al-Sayed—Head of Hamas in Tul Kerem during the Second Intifada, the planner behind the Park Hotel massacre in Netanya. Dozens more gone. Oh, and bonus points for Shin Bet: No Israeli citizen prisoners in the mix would be released. That's another non-negotiable they hammered home, which likely had Benjamin Netanyahu behind that decision.

Sources close to the talks said that Hamas pulled every sleazy trick, [are you surprised] pushing for un-sentenced murderers and freshly nabbed threats, like the Hebron Hamas infrastructure chiefs the Shin Bet just kneecapped. Pressure applied. Repelled? Like a blind date with halitosis. 

These Hamas hopefuls are staying put, where they can plot in peace (from a cell).

Now, let's zoom out for the victory lap, because the Shin Bet team, led by deputies S. and M., current and ex, didn't just negotiate; they owned the room. Crunch the numbers, and this deal's a steal compared to history's hostage heists:

Jibril Deal (1985): Three live IDF soldiers for 1,151 prisoners—380 lifers. Oof.

Hezbollah Deal (2004): Three soldier bodies and one live civilian (Elhanan Tenenbaum) for 436 prisoners. Grim math.

Shalit Deal (2011): One live soldier for 1,027 prisoners (450 Hamas), including 279 lifers. The gift that kept on giving... to terrorism. That's the one Sinwar got released.

So, while the chattering classes clutch pearls over "proportionality," remember: Israel's not handing over the keys to the candy store. They're doling out scraps to the monsters, saving the real prizes for the gallows. In a world gone mad, that's what winning looks like. 

Now why doesn't Israel have a death sentence for these evil miscreants?

IDF reveals deaths of top Hamassholes, PIJ terrorists in Gaza the past 2 weeks

Dead but not remembered

The IDF and Shin Bet just dropped a major bombshell, taking out nine honcho terrorists in Gaza over the last two weeks, straight-up flexing their joint op game. 

Eight of these dudes were members of Hamas's Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, and one was representing Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). Check the IDF's slick infographic laying it all out, straight from the IDF Spokesperson's Unit. These nine weren’t just randoms, they were running squads trying to rebuild Hamas’s and PIJ’s military muscle, like their Weapons Production Headquarters and Military Intelligence Unit. 

Yeah, they’re the ones trying to stack Hamas’s arsenal with fresh gear. The Military Intelligence Unit was feeding intel to keep Hamas’s Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades in control and pushing terror plots against Israel. 

Let’s break down the hit list: 

Muhammad Abu Awwad: This guy was a top dog in Hamas’s Weapons Production Headquarters, messing with the Projects and Development Department. Dude was cooking up precision missiles and running Production and Technical Control like a boss, the military said.

Mustafa Dababesh: Deputy head of a department in the Weapons Production Headquarters. Number two, but still a big deal.

Bilal Abu Shikha and Tayseer Shareem: Both scumwafers were section commanders in the Weapons Production Headquarters, probably plotting some serious chaos.

Mundhir Salami: Production site commander in the Weapons Production Headquarters, overseeing all kinda weapon-making. The military says he was key to Hamas’s military buildup in Gaza. Big yikes.

Bilal Musallam: Section commander in Hamas’s Military Intelligence Unit, digging up info for the bad guys.

Where's Greta

Ahmad Abu Shamala: Squad commander in the same Military Intelligence Unit, helping to keep Hamas’s operations tight.

Rabi' Mustafa Rabi' Sukhweil: This dude [not to be mistaken for a rabbi] was a money man for the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, funneling millions in terror funds to keep Hamas’s schemes rolling, per the military.

Israeli Forces Neutralize Key Terrorist in Lebanon Strike

Qassem Salah Al-Husseini, a linchpin in Iran’s shadowy weapons smuggling network, was totally killed by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon’s Kfarkela on Thursday. The IDF and Shin Bet confirmed the kill Friday, a precision airstrike that turned Al-Husseini’s car into his coffin, per Al-Hadath reports.

This wasn’t just any target. Al-Husseini was a Lebanese operative, a cog in Iran’s Quds Force machine, plotting attacks on Israeli civilians and IDF troops along the northern front. The Quds Force, an arm of Iran’s IRGC, fuels chaos across the Middle East, propping up Hezbollah in Lebanon, Houthis in Yemen, and militias in Syria and Iraq, Tehran’s so-called "axis." Al-Husseini was their point man, funneling weapons from Iran through Syria to Hezbollah’s outposts and into the West Bank.

“He was a key figure in a weapons smuggling route from Iran through Syria to various locations in the northern front and to the West Bank,” the IDF stated, underscoring his role in arming terror cells. With ties to Syrian and Lebanese smugglers, he operated under Quds Force orders, feeding the beast of anti-Israel operations.

Remind you of anything?

His elimination is “a significant blow to the ability of various terrorist organizations in the northern front and in Judea and Samaria to arm themselves and carry out attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF forces,” the IDF added. A single strike, a ripple effect, disrupting Iran’s terror pipeline.

Israel’s military presence persists past withdrawal deadlines, targeting Hezbollah’s infrastructure after the Israel-Iran war cooled. Meanwhile, Tehran’s struggling to keep its arms flowing. A Western intelligence source told The Jerusalem Post in April that Iran’s land routes, choked since Bashar al-Assad’s fall, forced them to try smuggling weapons to Hezbollah via Beirut’s port. Those efforts? Largely thwarted.

Al-Husseini’s death marks another checkmate in Israel’s relentless campaign to sever Iran’s tentacles.

Israel considers new Gaza offensive as hostage talks weaken

According to a report from Walla cited by The Jerusalem Post, the Israeli military is mulling over what could be the largest civilian displacement in Gaza since the war kicked off. That’s no small potatoes, and it’s got big implications for both the battlefield and the diplomatic chessboard. 

The Post’s Amir Bohbot lays it out: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to huddle with Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir today, Sunday, to hash out what’s next in Gaza, including “potential steps to embark on a wider military operation differing from previous offenses.”

What’s driving this? 

The IDF’s got a ticking clock on hostage negotiations. If those talks don’t break through soon, the military’s gearing up for a broader operation. But here’s where it gets messy: inside the IDF, there’s a split. Some brass want to double down and keep pounding Hamas, while others argue the main goals are already in the bag: Hamas’s military infrastructure is toast, senior commanders (minus Gaza City Brigade Commander Izz al-Din al-Haddad, who’s still on the Shin Bet’s hit list) are gone, tunnels and weapons systems are wrecked, and Israel’s grabbed over half of Gaza’s territory. Oh, and they’ve choked off major smuggling routes from Sinai and the Mediterranean. Not exactly a bad day’s work.

But the hawks in the room aren’t quite ready to pop the champagne. They’re pushing for a full-scale ground maneuver, which would mean a massive civilian evacuation. 

Military sources told Walla that plans are in the works to move Gazans out of key areas, and here’s the kicker: with Hamas at its weakest since seizing Gaza in 2007, “a mass evacuation could turn public sentiment in Gaza against the group’s leadership.” That’s a bold play, but it’s not without risks. 

Urban warfare in Gaza’s tunnel-riddled, fortified neighborhoods would be a meat grinder, with “significant IDF casualties” expected, military officials said. And this wouldn’t be a small operation, with five fully manned divisions and a fresh wave of reserve call-ups under Tzav 8. 

The IDF’s calculus is shaped by recent history, too. A senior defense official, reflecting on Israel’s 12-day clash with Iran, put it bluntly: “The operation in Iran taught Hamas that one must also know when to end fighting.” Hamas, battered and bruised, is reportedly shifting from bullets to backroom diplomacy. But with Israel green-lighting 22 new West Bank settlements amid this Gaza fight and global chatter about a Palestinian state, the pressure’s on. 

Is this the moment to go all-in, or is it time to declare victory and pivot? Netanyahu’s got a tough call ahead, and the world’s watching.

The IDF and Shin Bet just dropped a massive hammer, obliterating over 115 terror spots in Gaza in a single day, straight-up wiping out Nukhba terrorists who were in on that brutal October 7 massacre, the military confirmed Wednesday.

Check this: IAF jets, rolling tight with Division 162, zeroed in and smoked Mohammad Shahin, a Nukhba goon from Hamas’s East Jabaliya crew, up in northern Gaza. This dude Shaheen? Yeah, he was one of those who snuck into Israel and pulled off that October 7 chaos.

In just 24 hours, the Air Force lit up more than 115 targets across Gaza—launchers, military hideouts, tunnels, terrorist squads, you name it, they hit it.

Meanwhile, naval forces teamed up with ground troops, bringing the heat on terrorist targets in northern Gaza like it’s nobody’s business.

Oh, and over in Lebanon? The IDF wasn’t playin’—they launched an airstrike Wednesday in the Tyre area, taking out Hasin Nazih Baraj. This guy was no small fry; he was a weapons-making mastermind in Hezbollah’s research, development, and production division.

That division? It’s the one cooking up and stockpiling Hezbollah’s arsenal, including those precision-guided missiles they love to flex. Baraj, the slick engineer, was deep in the game, building setups for cranking out ground-to-ground missiles. His death’s a big middle finger to Hezbollah’s recovery plans post-Operation Northern Shield.

And let’s be real—Baraj’s moves were straight-up spitting on the Israel-Lebanon agreement.

IDF virginizes Islamic Jihad's Jenin terror honcho

In a move that should surprise no one paying attention, Israeli security forces took out Noor Beitawi, the head honcho of Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s terrorist network in Jenin, in a Nablus operation on Friday. 

The IDF didn’t mince words, calling Beitawi the mastermind behind a slew of terrorist plots, bankrolling and orchestrating attacks on Israeli civilians and security personnel like it was his day job. Apparently, he was also cozy with Hamas bigwigs in Gaza and beyond, because why not network with the worst of the worst?

The IDF laid it out: Beitawi was funneling cash to terror cells in Jenin and nearby villages, recruiting goons, arming them to the teeth, and overseeing a bomb-making operation aimed at Israeli soldiers. This guy wasn’t just a cog in the machine—he was the whole darn engine. Wanted for months, he tried to pull a fast one, fleeing Jenin for Nablus after a counter-terrorism op in northern Samaria. Spoiler alert: it didn’t work out for him.

Thanks to some sharp intel from the Shin Bet, Israeli forces tracked Beitawi to a hideout in Nablus, surrounded the place, and sent him and another terrorist to the great beyond. “Israeli security forces will continue to act against terrorism in Judea and Samaria to ensure the security of Israeli citizens,” the IDF said, sounding like they mean business. 

Since “Operation Iron Wall” kicked off on Jan. 21, the IDF’s been on a tear, taking out over 100 terrorists, nabbing 320 wanted suspects, and seizing 450 weapons in Judea and Samaria. They’ve also dismantled hundreds of IEDs, pipe bombs, and blown up bomb labs and weapons caches like it’s a demolition derby. Since the Hamas-led atrocity fest on Oct. 7, 2023, Israeli forces have neutralized over 700 terrorists in the region, including 36 high-ranking dirtbags from various terror groups. 

Meanwhile, the hits keep coming. On Thursday, terrorists pelted an Israeli car and bus with rocks near Na’ama in the Jordan Valley, lightly injuring a baby. A baby. Let that sink in. The infant got medical attention on-site, but the sheer gall of these attacks is enough to make your blood boil. Just a day earlier, two people were seriously wounded in a terrorist attack near the Reihan Crossing, and in the Hebron Hills, another genius tried to ram Israeli troops before coming at them with a knife. He’s not around to tell the tale.

According to Rescuers Without Borders, Palestinian terrorists targeted Israeli Jews in Judea and Samaria a staggering 6,343 times in 2024. That’s not a typo. Twenty-seven Israelis were murdered, and over 300 were wounded. This isn’t a game—it’s a relentless war on civilians, and Israel’s not sitting back sipping coffee while it happens. Keep swinging, IDF.

Shin Bet staffer leaked rescue plans: report

Let us turn our gaze to a horrible affair in Israel, where the very sinews of national security have been frayed by reckless indiscretion. 

An employee of Shin Bet, that storied guardian of the Jewish state’s safety akin to the US's FBI, stands trial for allegedly jeopardizing—yes, endangering—the rescue of four hostages from the clutches of Hamas in Gaza last June. 

According to Hebrew media, this stupid woman, entrusted with secrets that could mean life or death, reportedly whispered details of “Operation Arnon” to her brother and brother-in-law, as if such matters were mere gossip over tea. 

Apparently, she just couldn't help herself. People like her, who have exclusive information and who blab it to others, do so in order to show how they are more special than those they blab it to.

The operation, a daring raid by Israeli special forces, freed Noa Argamani, Shlomi Ziv, Almog Meir Jan, and Andrey Kozlov from their captors. Yet, hours before the mission’s launch, its particulars were splashed across a Telegram group chat, like some tawdry tabloid scoop. 

Holy rubber lips, Batman!

This betrayal, if proven, is not merely a personal failing but a symptom of deeper rot. The Shin Bet, under its embattled director Ronen Bar—who clings to his post thanks to judicial maneuvering after Prime Minister Netanyahu sought his ouster—now reels from scandals involving leaks and other malpractices.

The indictment paints a damning picture: the employee’s relatives, who also were unable to contain their loose lips, passed the secrets onward, until they reached the digital ether, posted online for all to see.

 Astonishingly, the operation proceeded despite this breach, a testament perhaps to Israeli resolve and big balls, or to sheer desperation--or all the above.

The accused now languishes under house arrest, her trial grinding on for nearly ten months. Whether she has confessed, the reports do not say, leaving us to ponder the motives of one who would so cavalierly endanger her nation’s security. 

In an age where trust is as scarce as peace, this case serves as a grim reminder: even those sworn to protect can falter, and the consequences echo far beyond their own disgrace.

If she is proved guilty, one can hope that she gets a just punishment. For me it would be having to meet with those family members and those who were rescued and the family members with loved ones still being held by the Hamassholes.

I have little sympathy for people in highly sensitive positions with privileged, confidential information they find impossible to contain.

IDF and Shin Bet blow away Shejaiya battalion successor in fifth targeted strike since war began

In a precise and unrelenting strike, the IDF, alongside the Shin Bet, descended upon Shejaiya in Gaza, eliminating the terrorist Muhammad al-‘Ajlah, as the military declared with characteristic clarity on Tuesday. 

This was no random attack but a calculated move against a figure who had assumed the mantle of commander of Hamas’s Shejaiya battalion, succeeding Haitham Rizq Abd al-Karim Sheikh Khalil—himself blown away only last week.

Al-‘Ajlah was no mere foot soldier. He was the fifth commander of this battalion to meet his end since the onset of the Israel-Hamas war, and the third since the renewed operations in Gaza began—a grim testament to the IDF’s relentless pursuit of those who orchestrate terror. 

Who was this man? 

The IDF’s account is damning: al-‘Ajlah served as the commander of a combat support company within the Shejaiya battalion, tasked with arming Hamas’s operatives with the tools of their vile trade—weapons used to perpetrate atrocities against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers alike. His role was not peripheral; it was pivotal, enabling the machinery of terror to grind on.

Buh-bye, Ajlah. 

In a world where moral clarity is often obscured by the fog of equivocation, the IDF’s actions cut through with surgical precision. Al-‘Ajlah’s elimination is not merely a tactical victory but a reminder: those who sow terror will reap the consequences, no matter how many commanders must fall.

IDF zaps sniper honcho in Deir el-Balah, Rafah locked down like it's a Passover Piñata

The IDF just dropped a bombshell (pun intended): they smoked Ubayd Allah Na'im al-Hadhud Musa, the number-two guy in Hamas’s sniper squad out there. Yeah, Sunday was not his day.

The IDF’s like, “We didn’t just wing it. ‘Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.’” Translation: they dotted their i’s, crossed their t’s, and still turned Musa’s day planner to ash.

Oh, and earlier that same Sunday? The IDF and Shin Bet were playing tag-team, hitting a Hamas command center in the area. Joint op, total power move. They say, “At the time of the strike, numerous Hamas terrorists were operating from within the compound, planning terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops. 

The targeted terrorists had further plans to carry out additional attacks.” So, basically, Hamas was cooking up something nasty, and Israel RSVP’d with a missile.

Over Passover, while folks were munching matzah, the IDF was busy wrapping Rafah in a chokehold. They call it “encirclement”—sounds like a fancy dance move, but it’s more like Gaza’s southern tip getting shrink-wrapped. 

On April 2, Israel started grabbing what they’re calling the Morag Corridor—some old settlement zone between Rafah and Khan Yunis. Nostalgia, but with tanks.

This whole Rafah squeeze is part of a bigger plan: take ground, push people out. Since March 18, the IDF’s been blasting evacuation warnings to hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Rafah. “Pack up, head… somewhere.” Problem is, “somewhere” is shrinking fast, hemmed in by the sea. 

Good luck finding elbow room.

Defense Minister Israel Katz isn’t mincing words. He posted on X: “The more Hamas continues to refuse, the more the IDF will intensify its operations—targeting its operatives and destroying its infrastructure.” Then he added, “Gaza will become smaller and more isolated, and more of its residents will be forced to evacuate combat zones.” 

In other words, Hamas keeps playing hardball, Israel’s gonna keep swinging for the fences.

IDF and Shin Bet kill 11 scumcrumpets who invaded Israel on Oct. 7

They are next

Israeli Defense Forces and Shin Bet have eliminated eleven Hamassholes and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists by killing them. These terrorists all participated in the October 7, 2023 massacre that killed, tortured, raped, beheaded, burned and kidnapped Israeli men, women, children and even babies.

By the next day, anti-Semites protested Israel in fear of what they would do in response to the massacre, and boy, did they find out.

Of these eleven terrorists, nine were killed in recent Gaza operations, blown to smithereens and sent to their rivers of wine and 72 virgin billy goats.

Those killed were the following:

Hassan Na'em--he was responsible for the kidnapping and murder of Sgt. Shaked Dahan; clearly a cowardly act.

Then we have Ismail Shakash. This piece of excrement was responsible for the murder of Israeli civilians, threw grenades at a checkpoint at the Re'im junction and fired a small surface-to-air missile into Israeli territory. His mother was very proud of him and handed out candy to Gazans who, from birth, have been taught to hate Israel and Jewish people for no other reason than their immutable characteristics, the very definition of racism.

Jalal Qaraan, who took part in the murder of Inbar Haiman, raided the Nova music festival and IDF military bases, and murdered two Israeli civilians while proudly documenting and sharing the videos online for his fellow Gazans to enjoy.

 Muhammad Issa, [no relation to Darrell Issa] who raided Kibbutz Mefalsim and participated in the Oct 7 massacre, killing as many people he could find.  

Muhammad Shabaki, who infiltrated the country and participated in the massacre. His father, a man with a lack of imagination, named his son after the first Muslim terrorist.

Fares Karshin infiltrated the country and participated in October 7 killing defenseless men, women and children. He also set fire to the homes of Jewish families who happened to be home at the time.

Yahya Estal infiltrated the country and participated in the massacre because of his blind hatred of Jewish people and envy of their accomplishments.

Muhammad Tzakar raided Kibbutz Nir Oz and participated in the massacre. His father also had no imagination when naming him.

Two more terrorists were also killed by the IDF and Shin Bet strikes prior to the recent Gaza strikes but were blown into so many bite-size pieces that they couldn't be identified without a DNA test.

Muhammad Atsfur [Muhammed is a safe name that nobody in school was going to make fun of] was involved in attacking the Southern Command's 10th Brigade during the October 7 massacre.

Khaled Al-Din was responsible for the murder of Israeli civilians during the October 7 massacre. He also used the property of Erick and Ruth Peretz, who were killed at the Nova music festival.

Israeli security arrest 10 bombing terror suspects after car chase

A suspicious vehicle was traveling from Jerusalem toward central Israel and was then pursued by police until it was stopped near the Kassam interchange on Route 6 on Monday. [H/T Jerusalem Post]

They arrested the driver and nine passengers near the Ben Shemen interchange after it was reported to them that these men were planning a terror bombing attack.

At this time, a police bomb technician is currently conducting a search of the vehicle to determine if explosives are present.

It was cleared for publication last night that the police and Shin Bet thwarted a combined attack planned by a resident of East Jerusalem during Ramadan.

Over the past month, Shin Bet and the Jerusalem District Central Unit launched an investigation into the suspect, an Arab man in his 20s from the Shuafat refugee camp. He is suspected of planning various types of attacks, including planting a pipe bomb in several locations across the city or executing a combined attack involving both running over and stabbing civilians or security forces. 

Detectives from the Jerusalem District arrest the suspect with assistance from Shin Bet. He was interrogated and it was learned that he was planning to place explosives on the Jerusalem light rail, on a bus, or in a restaurant in the southern part of the city, because this is his religious duty--kill Jews wherever you find them. 

He had already made significant progress on these plans, including learning how to make explosives. At one point, he purchased pipes, matchboxes, firecrackers, and other materials to construct pipe bombs and is one of the lucky few who hasn't blown off fingers or a hand. 

Further investigation revealed that the Jew hater, after watching American-made Roadrunner cartoons, had shifted his focus to carrying out a combined attack involving running over and stabbing and then running away.

To implement this plan, he began taking driving lessons and purchased large knives. Just days before Ramadan, he decided to carry out the attack at a bus station at a central intersection in Jerusalem. Along with his driving lessons, this loser also planned to purchase a car.

You cannot make this stuff up.

Hamas-Hezbollah plot to kill Israelis foiled

The Israelis have once again demonstrated their resolve in the face of barbarism. 

On Tuesday, authorities announced they had foiled a major terrorist plot targeting Israeli interests abroad - a scheme they described as one of the gravest in recent memory. In a precision strike, the IDF and Shin Bet took out Hassan Ali Mahmoud Bdeir, a senior Hezbollah operative in Beirut's Dahieh district, a stronghold of the terrorist group.

Bdeir, it seems, was no mere foot soldier, but a key player in Hezbollah's Unit 3900 and Iran's Quds Force. Israeli intelligence revealed he was the linchpin in an unholy alliance between Hezbollah and Hamas - a rare coming together of Shiite and Sunni fanatics. 

Their plan? A large-scale attack abroad that could have left hundreds of Israelis dead.

The operation was the fruit of a long intelligence effort by a crack Shin Bet unit dedicated to smashing Hamas' overseas networks - networks that have been especially busy since the killing of Saleh al-Arouri in Beirut last year. With Military Intelligence providing support and the Israeli Air Force delivering the fatal blow, the strike was a triumph of coordination and will.

Shin Bet and IDF chiefs say this prevented a catastrophe and dealt a serious setback to Hezbollah-Hamas collaboration beyond Israel's borders. 

Hamas' tentacles, we are told, stretch from Turkey to the edges of Europe. Meanwhile, in a related development, Israeli flights have been barred from Paphos, Cyprus since January over unspecified "security concerns", now landing in Larnaca instead for a 90-minute trek to Paphos each way.

Once more, Israel stands as a bulwark against those who would slaughter the innocent. The civilized world should take note.

Shin Bet foil ISIS terror plot

Well, folks, it looks like the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Israel Police have been busy keeping the bad guys at bay. In a move that’s sure to make ISIS fans cry into their hummus, they’ve nabbed an Arab-Israeli teen who was cooking up some nasty bombing plans targeting Jews in northern Israel.

 
According to the World Israel News Staff, this 17-year-old punk from Jisr az-Zarqa got himself arrested on March 2 for being a little too cozy with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Apparently, this kid wasn’t just a casual fan—he swore allegiance to ISIS and its current caliph multiple times, like some twisted loyalty pledge drive.

 
The Shin Bet and police say this junior jihadi was plotting terror attacks in the Menashe region of the Haifa district. And when they nabbed him, they found a handy-dandy bomb-making manual in his possession—because nothing says "teen rebellion" like DIY explosives, right? 

The Haifa District Prosecutor’s Office has slapped him with an indictment for his ISIS ties and terror plotting, and they’re asking to keep him locked up until the trial wraps. Good call, I’d say.

A senior Shin Bet official chimed in, noting, “This case joins a series of arrests of Israeli citizens who planned to carry out terrorist activities in Israel.” He then added, “[T]he trend involving Israeli citizens in terrorism and espionage is extremely serious, and the security system will act harshly against those involved.” 

Translation: Don’t mess with the Shin Bet, folks—they’re as serious as cancer.

Meanwhile, a police official spoke about the arrest, saying the arrest “of the minor who planned to carry out an attack is the result of accurate intelligence and a rapid response by the security forces. Anyone who chooses the path of terrorism will be caught, arrested, and brought to justice.” Boom! That’s the sound of law enforcement dropping the hammer on wannabe terrorists.

So, another day, another thwarted attack. Kudos to the Shin Bet and Israel Police for keeping the streets safe while this ISIS fanboy learns the hard way that bomb plots don’t end with a gold star and a participation trophy.

New Israeli military chief sworn in with Gaza ceasefire teetering in the balance

On Wednesday, Israel appointed a new military commander while tensions grew over the shaky ceasefire in Gaza. This situation raised the chances of fighting starting again without a deal to free the remaining hostages held by Hamas.

Eyal Zamir, a former tank commander who retired after 28 years as a Major General, was brought back into service and promoted to Lieutenant General. He took over from General Herzi Halevi, who resigned due to the security failures of October 7, 2023.

“The mission is not yet complete,” Zamir said in a speech as he took command, noting that Hamas still hasn’t been defeated. “We will not forgive, we will not forget. This is an existential war. We will persist in our campaign to bring our hostages home and to defeat our enemies,” he added. 

Fighting in Gaza stopped in January thanks to a truce arranged by Qatar and Egypt, with U.S. support. This deal freed 33 Israeli hostages and 5 Thais in exchange for about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees.

A separate war in southern Lebanon, sparked when Iran-backed Hezbollah fired missiles at Israel after the October 7 attack, has also quieted down under its own ceasefire.

However, Israeli leaders have warned that fighting could restart if no deal is made to bring back the 59 hostages still held. Israeli troops have pulled back from some areas in Gaza, but talks to free the hostages and fully withdraw Israeli forces before ending the war haven’t started.

Israel wants to extend the truce past the Jewish Passover holiday in April to secure the release of the remaining hostages. Hamas, though, insists on discussing a permanent end to the war first before agreeing to free more hostages.

Zamir’s appointment comes as investigations begin into how thousands of Hamas-led terrorists attacked Israeli communities near Gaza on October 7, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages. This was one of Israel’s worst military and security failures ever.

Halevi was in charge during Israel’s campaign in Gaza to rescue hostages and destroy Hamas’s military and governing power. But in January, after the Gaza ceasefire was set, he said he’d step down, taking blame for the military’s weak and disorganized response to the October 7 attack.

On Wednesday, as he handed over command, Halevi called for a broader investigation into the October 7 failures. “The establishment of a state commission of inquiry is necessary and essential – not to place blame, but first and foremost, to understand the root of the problems and allow for correction,” he said.

The Israel Defense Forces and Shin Bet security agency have admitted their mistakes allowed the attack to happen. However, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has so far blocked a wider investigation that would examine his government’s role.

IDF exterminates Hamasshole honcho in Jenin op

On Monday night, under the watchful eye of the Shin Bet, IDF troops killed Isser Sa'adi, the head of the Hamas terrorist organization, to his eternal reward in Jenin. The military confirmed this righteous killing on Tuesday afternoon. During the operation, Border Police and IDF soldiers of the Menashe Brigade also eliminated two additional terrorists and apprehended three wanted men.

The mission began with IDF soldiers rolling into a Jenin neighborhood in Eitan armored vehicles, guided by Shin Bet intelligence to a building concealing Sa'adi. A firefight ensued, and when the smoke cleared, the terrorists lay dead and the wanted men were in custody. A subsequent search uncovered an M-16 rifle, a pistol, and sundry other weapons - the tools of their vile terrorist trade.

Last month, in Operation Iron Wall, the IDF tallied up an impressive score: 25 terrorists liquidated in the West Bank, including arms dealers, bomb makers, and plotters of attacks. Some 350 wanted persons were arrested, 120 weapons seized, and hundreds of explosive devices destroyed. This is what victory looks like against an enemy that knows only hate.

Several weeks prior, Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered intensified operations in West Bank refugee camps after attempted attacks in Gush Dan. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanded the military "launch a powerful operation against terrorist strongholds in Judea and Samaria." From his office came further instructions for the Israel Police and Shin Bet to expand preventive efforts in cities.
In phase two of Operation Iron Wall, Katz has advanced a plan for IDF outposts in the camps, thwarting the return of fleeing cowards and girding for a greater military presence. The political leadership has decreed the IDF remain in Jenin and Tulkarm camps until told otherwise. Central Command believes most terrorists have abandoned their lairs, but Israeli soldiers press on, targeting their infrastructure, confiscating arms, and dismantling lingering threats.

On Tuesday night, the military arrested 19 more wanted persons in the West Bank, including Hamas terrorists. The fight goes on against an evil that never sleeps. As I have written before, "The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion." Israel understands this truth in its bones.
