POTUS revokes security clearances of employees of top Dem law firm

President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order pulling the security clearances of Perkins Coie LLP employees. The administration argues that the law firm is guilty of unethical and discriminatory actions that threaten national security, elections and military strength.

So, the corridors of power in Washington have once again reverberated with the sound of executive authority being wielded with unapologetic gusto. The president EO is now pending a thorough review of their access to the nation's secrets and their impact on America's interests, as a White House fact sheet informs us.

Not content with mere suspension, the federal government is slamming shut the doors of all sensitive compartmented information facilities to Perkins Coie, while cutting off their material supplies and services. Agencies have been sternly instructed not to engage the firm's employees without explicit authorization, and no government funds will flow to contractors employing their services.

This is no small matter, for Perkins Coie has slurped heartily at the public trough, raking in over $481,000 in sundry federal contracts from January to July last year alone, per FEC records, even as it stood tall among the Democratic National Committee's most handsomely remunerated legal champions in recent times, according to The National Law Journal.

But the reckoning does not end there. 

The White House declares that the firm's practices will face scrutiny under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, to ensure compliance with laws barring racial prejudice. Trump, with characteristic relish and perhaps a hotdog, proclaimed on Thursday that it was "an absolute honor to sign" this executive order. "It's just terrible," he lamented. "It's weaponization, you could say, weaponization against a political opponent, and it should never be allowed to happen again."

The White House fact sheet lays bare the sins of Perkins Coie, accusing them of hiring Fusion GPS in 2016 to conjure a mendacious "dossier" while in the employ of campaign disaster Hillary Clinton. That notorious Democrat fixer Marc Elias plied his trade there until 2021, when he decamped to start his own outfit. Another alumnus, Michael Sussmann, faced indictment for deceiving the FBI about a supposed "secret channel of communications between the Trump Organization and a Russian bank" - a fiction the firm had peddled.

"Perkins Coie LLP has worked with activist donors, including George Soros, to judicially overturn enacted election laws, such as those requiring voter identification," thundered the White House's Rapid Response X account. "A court was forced to sanction Perkins Coie attorneys for unethical lack of candor before the court." 

The account piled on: "Perkins Coie LLP has been accused of racially discriminating against its own attorneys, staff, and applicants. Perkins Coie has publicly announced racial percentage quotas for hiring and promotions, violating civil rights laws, and excluded applicants from fellowships based on race until lawsuits forced change."

This executive salvo builds upon Trump's Day One vow to halt the weaponization of government, tasking Attorney General Pam Bondi to scour the records of Biden's reign for every instance of retribution against perceived foes. 

"The American people have witnessed the previous administration engage in a systematic campaign against its perceived political opponents, weaponizing the legal force of numerous Federal law enforcement agencies and the Intelligence Community against those perceived political opponents in the form of investigations, prosecutions, civil enforcement actions, and other related actions," the order intoned.

"These actions appear oriented more toward inflicting political pain than toward pursuing actual justice or legitimate governmental objectives," it charged. "Many of these activities appear to be inconsistent with the Constitution and/or the laws of the United States, including those activities directed at parents protesting at school board meetings, Americans who spoke out against the previous administration’s actions, and other Americans who were simply exercising constitutionally protected rights."

Not sparing the rod, Trump has also banished the 50 former intelligence mucky mucks who falsely hinted Hunter Biden's laptop was "part of a Russian disinformation campaign," barring them from secure government premises, per a memo obtained by conservative outlet The Daily Wire in late January. "These individuals no longer possess a need to access secure facilities, and as outlined in the Executive Order, do not have the appropriate security clearances to access classified information," the memo decreed.

The firm's practices will also be reviewed to make sure that they are in compliance with civil rights laws.

Trump signs executive order to protect children from "chemical and surgical" sex-change procedures

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the pause on federal financial assistance will not include food stamps, Social Security, or Medicare and welfare benefits on her first White House press conference.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order to restrict "chemical and surgical" sex-change procedures for minors.

"Across the country today, medical professionals are maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex through a series of irreversible medical interventions," the order states. "This dangerous trend will be a stain on our Nation’s history, and it must end."

But for now, the President has spoken, aiming to protect what he sees as the innocence and integrity of our youth from what he deems the radical excesses of contemporary culture.

Biden sanctioned 2 Israeli-Americans: a targeting regime in Judea and Samaria, as federal lawsuit shows

"No joke"

JERUSALEM—The Biden administration sanctioned two Israeli-Americans as part of a regime targeting settlers in Judea and Samaria, aka the West Bank, a federal lawsuit filed on Thursday revealed.

The Americans, who are also Israeli citizens, sued the Biden administration in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, claiming the sanctions violated their constitutional rights to due process and equal protection. According to attorneys for the plaintiffs, the obviously incompetent administration appears not to have known it was sanctioning Americans. 

Who did they think they are, chopped liver?

"The Biden administration has carried out this sanctions program with scant regard for the underlying facts and scant independent investigation, relying instead on the say-so of virulently anti-Israel groups in order to impose life-changing penalties on people," Eugene Kontorovich, a legal consultant on the lawsuit and a professor at George Mason University Law School, told the Washington Free Beacon.

Because the sanctions are based on an executive order by President Joe Biden, President-elect Donald Trump could reverse them after he takes office on Jan. 20. But the lawsuit is about more than sanctions relief for the plaintiffs. It also takes aim at the notion, pushed by a global network of anti-Israel organizations, that the settlements are a root cause of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

"These groups have basically co-opted the State Department to help them make Judea and Samaria ‘judenrein,’" Kontorovich said, using the biblical name for the West Bank. "That’s what they’re trying to achieve."

The State Department declined to answer questions about the lawsuit, telling the Free Beacon, "As a general matter, we do not comment on ongoing or pending litigation."

Biden created the sanctions regime in February with an executive order saying "the situation in the West Bank—in particular high levels of extremist settler violence, forced displacement of people and villages, and property destruction—has reached intolerable levels and constitutes a serious threat to the peace, security, and stability of the West Bank and Gaza, Israel, and the broader Middle East region." Based on the directive, the Biden administration has imposed several rounds of sanctions on Israelis over the past year, targeting 17 individuals and 16 organizations for alleged involvement in violence against or displacement of Palestinians in the West Bank.

Of those sanctioned, the plaintiffs in the lawsuit, Issachar Manne and Levi Yitzchak Pilant, were the first to be publicly identified as U.S. citizens. Both men are residents of the West Bank who were born in Israel to parents who immigrated from the United States.

Manne, 41, a farmer and shepherd in the South Hebron Hills and a married father of six, was sanctioned in July. The State Department claimed he had established a farm "on pastureland belonging to the Palestinian community, and settlers from this outpost regularly attack community shepherds and prevent their access to pastureland through acts of violence." His farm was also sanctioned.

Pilant, the head of security in Yitzhar, a settlement in the northern West Bank, and a married father of eight, was sanctioned in August. The State Department alleged, "Although Pilant’s role is akin to a security or law enforcement officer, he has engaged in malign activities outside the scope of his authority. In February 2024, he led a group of armed settlers to set up roadblocks and conduct patrols to pursue and attack Palestinians in their lands and forcefully expel them from their lands."

Manne and Pilant’s attorneys said the Biden administration’s sanctions on the men are based on allegations that are "completely false and lack support or evidence."

Manne leases land from the World Zionist Organization, and none of the area that he farms or uses for grazing is recognized by Israel as private Palestinian land. Manne has "never engaged in violence against Palestinians" and has "never appropriated, nor has he sought to appropriate, land under private Palestinian ownership or otherwise designated by the Israeli government as private or restricted," according to the lawsuit.

Pilant leads an armed civilian security force that defends a defined perimeter around Yitzhar as authorized by the Israeli military.

"In carrying out his official duties to combat Palestinian terrorism and as instructed by his superior officers, on February 17, 2024, Pilant set up roadblocks in order to prevent the smuggling of ammunition and terrorists. These roadblocks were authorized by the [military], the maintenance of which was a formal part of Pilant’s duties," the lawsuit said. "Pilant has never engaged in violence against Palestinians at any time."

According to the attorneys, the Biden administration appears to have targeted Manne and Pilant on the basis of flawed reporting by activist groups that are ideologically opposed to any Jewish presence in the West Bank.

B’Tselem, an Israeli human rights group funded mostly by international donors, including anti-Israel billionaire George Soros, has for years focused on Manne as an icon of Israel’s "apartheid regime." In a 2020 report, B’Tselem claimed that the farm had greatly "expanded" in the past year and that "[v]iolence by settlers from the farm has significantly limited the pastureland used by local Palestinian shepherds."

DAWN, a Soros-funded anti-Israel group led by Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers, called on the Biden administration to sanction Pilant two days before it did so. A dossier that DAWN submitted to the administration made allegations against Pilant that closely resembled those in the sanctions announcement, including in relation to the February 2024 incident involving roadblocks and alleged violence against Palestinians. The State Department even matched DAWN’s misspelling of Pilant’s name as "Filant."

As a result of the sanctions, Manne and Pilant have had their bank accounts frozen and their credit cards disabled, making it difficult for them to make or receive essential payments. Manne has struggled to pay his mortgage or keep his cell phone plan active.

"This is something I might expect from Russia," he told the Free Beacon. "But I thought the United States was a democratic country. It’s really unbelievable."

A number of other Israelis sanctioned by the Biden administration have publicly disputed the allegations against them. In July, the administration mistakenly sanctioned an Israeli reserve soldier whom it confused with a leader of Tzav 9, a protest movement that has sought to block humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza. After the soldier complained, the mistake was corrected.

When it comes to the Americans, the Biden administration’s mistakes amount to a violation of constitutional rights, according to the lawsuit. The attorneys argued that Biden’s executive order cannot be applied to U.S. citizens since the language refers to "foreign person[s]."

"There was no statutory or other lawful basis to sanction Plaintiffs under [the executive order], and absent such a lawful basis, the Defendants’ deprivation of their aforestated interest violated their right to Due Process under the Fifth Amendment," the attorneys wrote. "Additionally, Defendants failed to perform any basic fact-finding prior to implementing and enforcing the [executive order] in such a one-sided and draconian manner."

The Biden administration also violated Manne and Pilant’s right to equal protection by targeting them as Jews, according to the lawsuit.

"This is all the more striking because there are thousands of Palestinians who have engaged in terrorist attacks on Jewish civilians that unquestionably threaten the ‘peace, security, or stability of the West Bank,’" the attorneys wrote.

The lawsuit cited data released earlier this week by the Shin Bet that showed Israel’s internal security service thwarted 1,040 major Palestinian terrorist attacks in the West Bank in 2024.

Rep. Jayapal's tweet on canceling student loan goes over like a lead balloon

Socialist Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) believes that people who take out student loans with the promise to repay them should not have to carry the burden of their promises. The Señor Wences lookalike took to Twitter to pressure lawmakers to go along with President Biden's plan to forgive up to $50,000 in student debt by executive order. Due to her lack of insight, she was surprised by the responses she received on Twitter.

"I want to hear from you," she posted on Twitter. "How would cancelling $50,000 of student loan debt help you and your family?"

Some of the answers she got were priceless. "Could I have the $50,000 I already paid put back in my bank account?" one person wrote.

"Pls figure out what to give working class people who didn’t go to college to avoid this and feel they’re footing the bill with nothing in return," another user wrote.

Majority Leader Chuck Schumer along with Sen. Elizabeth "Throwing Bull" Warren and Rep. Ayanna Pressley two weeks ago urged Biden to use his pen and his phone to forgive student debt borrowers promised to repay. [It's always easy to be Robin Hood when you're robbing from others, even if they aren't rich.]

They urged Biden in a resolution to use  "existing legal authorities" under the Higher Education act of 1965. The resolution also "encourages" Biden to use executive authority under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, which would prevent administrative debt cancellation from resulting in a tax liability for borrowers.

Biden indicated on Tuesday that writing off $50,000 in student debt is not something that he was told can be "done with presidential action," but said he is prepared to eliminate $10,000 for students, because somehow that is a magic number.

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) wrote an op-ed on FoxNews.com Tuesday saying that Republicans "need to have a better answer to calls for debt forgiveness."

He posits that Congress and the administration "should do a better job of informing borrowers about what options exist to make affordable payments, while simplifying options to remove confusion."

Others, like regular taxpayers and those who have repaid their student loans, believe that a deal is a deal, a promise is a promise, and you should pay your damn loan. It was given in good faith and you have no right to ask for public charity, especially because the whole charade benefits the rich and hurts the poor. 

Robin Hood was a socialist who robbed the rich because the poor don't have money. And Jayapal is no Maid Marion.

Was Biden just kidding about wearing a mask?

You never know with a kidder like Joe. Was he being serious about wearing a mask for 100 days, or was he pulling the hairs on our legs? Did he mean it when he said that this is the best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19? Does he really follow the science and are there times when he didn't? Is he as demented and confused as he seems to be, or is he just pretending?

Now that Biden is president he has shown America that if you just hang around in politics long enough, and play to the crowd and don't get caught with a tent in your pants, but even if you do [like with Tara Reade] you deny and walk away from the cameras, you too can become President.

Biden at "Half Mask"

And now that Joe is the head honcho, not wearing a mask is okay if you're on the correct side of the aisle and are going mask-less because you're "celebrating" a Democratic victory.

Joe Biden, his doctor wife Jill, and the family, took a photo op at the Lincoln Memorial, which is a federal site. Biden had mandated that MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL FEDERAL SITES, and he assured us that he means it and he isn't kidding.

So you'd think, hey, c'mon man, I bet Joe and his loved ones, like Hunter and Doctor Jill, wear masks at federal sites and I wouldn't even be surprised if Joe wears a mask even on the toilet because it's a federal toilet at the White House.

But you would be wrong.

On Wednesday, he and the Biden gang were photographed in violation of his own mandate. His press secretary, the illustrious and beautiful Jen Psaki, dismissed Fox News' WH correspondent Peter Douci's question about that little fact.

"He was celebrating an evening of a historic day," Psaki said Thursday. "I think we have bigger issues to worry about at this moment in time."

Bad answer. There is no bigger issue than COVID-19 right now, and the only exception might be something like: "Missiles heading toward the USA from China." So Psaki's excuse sounded like something Joe or Doctor Jill might have told her. to say.

Douci should have followed up with: "What's a bigger issue than COVID?"

Biden and his "Cool Aviator" look

Biden implored Americans to "mask up" in a tweet that announced his executive order. "Wearing masks isn't a partisan issue," he tweeted. "It's a patriotic act that can save countless lives."

Actually, there's apparently no clear proof of that claim, but hey, 'follow the science' sounds like a great plan.

Several hours before Biden announced his executive order, he mush-mouthed his Inaugural Address, in which he muttered that his administration would "lead not merely by the example of our power, but by the power of our example."

Judging from his words, we can all feel comfortable not wearing masks at important photo ops and left-wing riots, but not if we're Republicans [aka White supremacists, neo-Nazis].

The next 4 years is going to be fun just watching how the media has Joe's back. On the other hand, will he really be able to finish out his full term, with his declining mental status and Kamala Harris chomping at the bit?

POTUS set to sign revised travel ban order

President Trump is ready with the new travel ban executive order and is due to sign it today, according to Kellyanne Conway, the woman who shamefully put her feet up on a sofa and should be fired after her total disregard for decorum in the Oval Office.

The ban will temporarily halt entry of people fleeing their own hovels to come here for a better life paid for by other people. It will also ban a number of undercover terrorists who would cheerfully kill you, your spouse and children and your pets when you're not paying attention.

"Feet-on-the-couch" Conway said the new version of the order includes "six or seven" points that will clarify those areas previously poo-poohed by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, a leftist entity currently involved with trying to overthrow the President.

Chuck Schumer and his nostrils said that because Ms. Conway isn't certain about how many points President Trump will actually change, ("Is it six, or is it seven, Ms. Conway?") he said she should be fired.

Among other changes, the new order will exclude legal permanent residents and calls for Iraq to be removed from the list of terrorist countries that will be temporarily banned, until we know what the hell is going on. 

The new order will also no longer indefinitely bar Syrian refugees and their terrorist interlopers.

One of the main reasons President Trump went from "Celebrity Apprentice" to "Celebrity POTUS" was his stance on national security. That included stronger U.S. borders with Mexico and "bombing the s*** out of ISIS" along with other terror groups that face Mecca when they pray five times a day.

When he took office in late January, President Trump signed executive orders that temporarily halted the U.S. refugee program and travel from seven Obama-selected countries whose governments were incapable of vetting potential terrorists. As it turns out, for some crazy reason, those seven countries are mainly Muslim. 

Go figure.

So liberals such as Chuck Schumer, fought the executive order tooth and nostril. Identity politics temporarily won the day while possibly losing the future.

'The Ninth' has held up the orders since early February but Mr. Trump made it clear that he fully intends to fulfill his campaign promise.

Go figure.

"The vast majority of individuals convicted of terrorism and terrorism-related offenses since 9-11 came here from outside of our country," Mr. Trump said in his address to a joint session of Congress last week. (It was his most presidential speech thus far.)

"It is not compassionate," he continued, "but reckless to allow uncontrolled entry from places where proper vetting cannot occur. We cannot allow a beachhead of terrorism to form inside America. And we cannot allow our nation to become a sanctuary for extremists . . . That is why my administration has been working on improved vetting procedures, and we will shortly take new steps to keep our nation safe."

But the ban was blocked and critics argued it was put together in haste with parts lacking constitutional authority.

The critics apparently need a U.S. Constitution refresher course. It is definitely within the president's authority to do what he believes is necessary for national security. 

The removal of Iraq from the list of nations follows pressure from the Pentagon and State Department. They pointed out Iraq's key role in fighting ISIS and the White House reconsidered the original decision.

The new ban will likely honor all existing visas and Syrian refugees will be treated like other refugees and be subjected to a 120-day suspension of the refugee program "until we know what the hell is going on."

The new order is expected to remove language that would give priority to religious minorities who are being slaughtered by ISIS and other terrorist groups because of their religious status. 

"Just because Christians are the largest group targeted by Islamic extremism in the Middle East is no reason to give them priority. But if you do, we will take care of them in the refugee camps," said an unidentified woman in a full body burqa.

Interestingly, she sounded like a man.

So we will wait and see what happens with the new executive order. If it stops merely one terrorist and merely 154 rapists, then it will be worth it.

Unfortunately, you cannot prove a negative, so the effectiveness of the temporary ban will be minimized by the left.

Caitlyn (Bruce) Jenner upset with Trump over having to use the boy's room

Caitlyn (Bruce) Jenner is angry with President Trump on his reversal of former president Obama's directive that men who think they're women, and women who think they're men, can use the bathroom of the gender they think they are.

Jenner who is a man based upon the biological definition of what constitutes a given gender, thinks he's a woman because he had his penis surgically mutilated by a doctor and shaped into something resembling a labia etc., etc. We refer to these people as 'transgender' individuals and it has become politically correct to pretend they are the gender they 'identify with' rather than trying to get them the help they need to deal with the gender dysphoria.

So Bruce (aka Caitlyn) Jenner wants the right to use the girls' bathroom in public schools and so do other men who say they 'identify as a woman.' 

I'm with Trump on this one.

Mr. Jenner addressed President Trump in a video he posted Thursday. "From one Republican to another, this is a disaster."

The Trump directive told public schools to end the Obama directive to let transgender students use bathrooms and locker rooms of their chosen gender. For some reason, conservatives and others don't believe anyone can actually choose a gender, but that it's assigned to us at birth.

Jenner, who in 2015 openly announced that he thinks he's a woman and plans to take surgical steps to affirm this to himself, is quite critical of Attorney General Jeff Sessions. "Apparently even becoming attorney general isn't enough to cure some people in their insecurities."

Apparently, even being a famous Olympian isn't enough to cure gender dysphoria.

American majority support immigration restrictions & wall

Blocking traffic for Allah

A new poll indicates that a majority of voters support President Trump's executive order that temporarily halts immigration from 7 terrorist-spawning countries and want fewer refugees coming into the U.S. overall.

The poll was conducted for the Harvard Center for American Political Studies by the Harris Poll company. The poll is co-managed by Mark Penn, a Democratic pollster,

It was found that 51 percent of polled individuals want the U.S. to accept fewer than the current 100,000 per year that Obama wanted to import. The Trump administration's plan sets the number at half the Obama amount.

Fifty-three percent also support Mr. Trump's executive order banning all refugee resettlement from Syria and freezing all refugee resettlement for 120 days. 

Forty-seven percent of those polled oppose the new curbs on refugees coming into the U.S. according to Harris, but there was no data released to indicate the percentage of those who strongly support or oppose the curbs.

A regional judge's order (which was probably unconstitutional) halted Trump's refugee resettlement freeze but did not affect the halving of total refugee resettlement numbers. This action led to a mad dash into the U.S. from five of the seven terrorist-spawning countries. 

Thanks to this liberal judge, who will not be personally affected by his poor decision, 60.1 percent of refugees arriving since his ruling are from Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Syria and Sudan. Of the Syrian refugees, 99.6 percent are Muslims. Of the others, 55 percent are Muslims. 

This shows that the 45 percent non-Muslims who rushed here for resettlement do not think of this as a Muslim ban. 

The 500,000 refugees arriving in the U.S. since 2009 will cost the American taxpayers $4.1 billion for just this year alone. Breitbart News previously reported that "$4.1 billion can buy 10,677 new homes for $384,000 each, which is the average price of a new home sold in the United States in December 2016. Or it could buy 170,124 new autos for $24,100 each, which is the manufacturer's suggested retail price for a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu."

Sadly, most of the refugees are only capable of low-skilled employment and their presence here will take away thousands of jobs while bringing few useful skills.

A complete shutdown of all refugee resettlement would save us billions. They will continue costing us more in welfare and aid than they generate in taxes, according to uncomfortable facts, and cost us no less than $3 billion every year, not including the costs added on by the U.S. criminal justice system when they commit crimes and plot terror attacks.

The Trump refugee resettlement freeze has strong and broad support. A Feb. 8 Morning Consult poll found 55 percent of voters overall, supported the president's executive order. Of those, 82 percent of Republicans support it.

Another poll (McLaughlin & Associates) found 57 percent support a halt in order to implement better screening procedures.

Rasmussen Reports found 52 percent of voters favored a freeze on all refugee resettlement until the government can better screen out terrorists. Of this polling population, 57 percent were young voters.

The next big issue after terrorism will be which bathroom a person will be able to use depending upon the existence or absence of mental issues.

Some cities caving to POTUS' funding threats

President Trump's call to pull federal funding from cities that shield illegal immigrants from federal authorities is finally making an impact on local government leaders of these "sanctuary" towns counties and cities around the country. The are caving in and agreeing to follow the law of the land.

In Dayton, Ohio, Police Chief Richard Biehl said that federal authorities will no longer be impeded by the city when going after illegal immigrants who are being held by his department for misdemeanors or felony property crimes. Dayton has dropped their illegal policy restricting cooperation with immigration officials and are reluctantly allowing the Trump administration to follow the Constitution.

But Dayton isn't the only city deciding they need the money more than the 'feel good' tingle they get from thinking they're being goody-goodies. Miami-Dade, Saratoga, NY, Finney County, Kansas, and Bedford, PA are following suit, according to The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

"We are reviewing policy changes at a multitude of other jurisdictions as well," explained Marguerite Telford, CIS's communication director. She said that CIS is "being inundated" by officials on its sanctuary map who want to be removed from their list.

The mayor of Miami-Dade County, Carlos Gimenez, has been in office since 2011 and in local politics since 2004.

He is a Cuban-American whose family moved to the U.S. in 1960 during the Castro Revolution. He was naturalized in 1975 and has served as a Republican but obviously has a "soft-spot" for immigrants, even though his coming to the U.S. was done legally.

Miami-Dade County had been considered a sanctuary community but it made headlines when Gimenez changed a policy that refused to hold arrested immigrants of immigration officials unless they committed to reimbursing the county for the cost of detention.

But the county stood to lose hundreds of millions of dollars in federal funding  so he ordered jails to comply with federal immigration detention requests. After all, didn't some of the federal money pay for the extra time the criminal immigrants spent in the slammer?

President Trump's executive order gives the DOJ and DHS the power to cut federal funding to communities deemed to be sanctuaries for illegal immigrants. Mr. Trump also authorized the DHS to publish a weekly list of sanctuary communities.

Ms. Telford said: "Are you really going to pick and choose what laws you're going to enforce? If you want a change [in immigration policy], go to the legislature."

What a novel idea for liberals.

In spite of some communities giving in to the president's executive order are rethinking sanctuary policies, others, especially large major cities, have vowed to defy the law.

And those who defy the law should be prosecuted.

New York City's certifiable "Idiot" Mayor Bill de Blasio said "We're going to defend all of our people regardless of where they come from, regardless of their immigration status" [as long as they vote Democratic]. 

De Blasio was also a staunch defender of the Sandinista National Liberation Front which should give you an idea of just how much of a socialist and idiot he really is. Beside that he is a strong opponent to New York's stop-and-frisk laws which drastically helped to reduce crime in the city.

Chicago's incompetent Mayor Rahm Emanuel also said that he will do whatever he can to protect illegal immigrants from the feds, even those scum who have convicted crimes or are suspects in crime. 

Emanuel is certainly doing nothing to protect the citizens of his city who are being killed at war-zone pace.

And it's all political ploys--they apparently care to provide sanctuary to the illegal immigrants but not for their legal citizens. Where's their sanctuary? Ask Kate Steinle's family.

While it's understandable that illegal immigrants would be fearful of reporting crimes for fear of being deported, that could be solved, perhaps by developing an anonymous reporting system.

But again, it seems that any government official who knowingly refuses to uphold the law under the Constitution should be prosecuted or at least terminated from their position for refusal to do their job.

Gorsuch calls Trump's travel ban "disheartening and demoralizing"

Neil Gorsuch, President Trump's Supreme Court nominee, said the comments the president made regarding the federal appeals court deliberating on his travel restrictions were "disheartening and demoralizing."

This might actually mean that Gorsuch cannot be bought, but it could also be a smokescreen, a setup made by the two men to trick the Democrats into quickly confirming him to the highest court in the land 'till death do he part' in order to fill the court with GOPers who will back the party line on all decisions.

At least that's what "Chow Yuk Chuck" Schumer is likely thinking along with his leftist party.

According to a source on Trump's Supreme Court nomination committee who spoke to Fox News, the remark made by Gorsuch was at a meeting with Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT).

Blumenthal spoke to the media after the meeting and said Gorsuch "expressed to me that he is disheartened by the demoralizing and abhorrent comments by President Trump about the judiciary."

But perhaps Blumenthal was lying in order to create a smokescreen so that Republicans would be hesitant to cast a vote for Gorsuch, to cast doubt as to his party line loyalty.

On Wednesday, President Trump verbally attacked the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals while they deliberated on his executive order, an order that subsequently overturned his executive order putting Trump in a position where he'll need to decide whether to take it to the Supreme Court or appeal the decision of the lower court.

The Democrats have called the temporary travel ban of seven terrorist spawning countries [with no intact central government to vet refugees and immigrants] a "Muslim ban," but that's just leftists being leftists. The seven countries, while predominantly Muslim, comprise only about ten percent of all Muslims, and the wording in the executive order makes no distinction about the religion aspect, only the countries involved.

Trump took to Twitter, as he is wont to do. He tweeted: "If the U.S. does not win this case as it so obviously should, we can never have the security and safety to which we are entitled. Politics!

Let me be crystal clear: the president is within the law to ban certain groups of people that he or she deems to be a potential problem to the security and safety of the American people.

I just wish he would not call judges "so called judges" and not be so petty about the small stuff.

New Acting AG will enforce immigration order

Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates has been fired and replaced with a new acting AG Dana J. Boente. He has pledged to "defend and enforce" the laws of the land. Isn't that special?

When Yates refused to enforce Trump's lawful order, he did what he is known for: he fired her. And he was perfectly in his right to do so since she refused to do what she was sworn to do. An Attorney General doesn't get to pick and choose which laws (s)he wants to uphold.

She learned of her firing Monday evening in a hand-delivered note from the White House Office of Personnel, just hours after she directed the Justice Department lawyers not to defend the executive order. She wasn't convinced it was lawful or consistent with the agency's "obligation to always seek justice and stand for what is right."

Trump said in a statement that she "betrayed the Department of Justice by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States."

He fired her faster than a first-round loser in 'The Apprentice.'

Sean Spicer said in a statement that "Ms. Yates is an Obama administration appointee who is weak on borders and very weak on immigration."

According to The New York Times, Boente was sworn in at 9 p.m. ET. 

"I am honored to serve President Trump in this role until Sen. Sessions is confirmed. I will defend and enforce the laws of our country to ensure that our people and our nation are protected," Boente said in a statement.

The executive order faced condemnation from executives at top companies who might be upset that they cannot hire illegal immigrants to perform cheap labor. Both Goldman Sachs and Coca-Cola are among those companies, both of which threw tons of money at the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign.

An Obama spokesman said the former incompetent president is "heartened" by the protests [if he only had a heart]. 

It is highly probable that Obama will not go away because he doesn't have the class of a George W. Bush. If it was up to Obama, there would be no borders, no fixed genders, no Israel, and America would be 'about average.'

But it isn't up to him.

Trump's executive order temporarily halts the U.S. refugee program and bans all entries from the same Muslim-majority countries that Obama first mentioned. The ban is only for 90 days but Soros-funded protesters are acting as if it's forever.

Speaking of Soros, have you noticed that since Hillary lost the election, the Soros-funded Black Lives Matter people are no longer relevant?

The entire refugee program is to be paused for merely 4 months and there is an indefinite ban on all people from war-torn Syria. But federal judges in several states, including New York, issued orders that temporarily block the government from deporting those with valid visas who arrived after the travel ban took effect. That seems to be a reasonable thing to do.

In spite of the chaos that ensued from the ban, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said: "You now have a president who really takes seriously the tremendous threat of international terrorism and is prepared to take steps that are very tough-minded and that are going to inconvenience some people."

The American people are behind President Trump and his tactics for keeping America safe. But leftists, like George Soros and Barack Obama are apparently going to do everything they can to get in his way for their own agendas.

Pres. Trump withdraws from TPP with pen and phone

President Trump has made good on a campaign promise and signed an executive order withdrawing the USA from the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, better known as TPP.

What is TPP? 

In a nutshell: 

It was signed in February 2016 and is comprised of 12 countries that have a border on the Pacific Ocean. Its purpose is ostensibly to slash tariffs and foster trade. These 12 countries already control 40 percent of the world's trade and have a population of around 800 million. TPP was a plan that hoped to foster closer relationships between TPP countries on regulations and economic policies and was designed to create an EU-type single market.

All 12 nations needed to ratify TPP but with Trump as POTUS, the writing was on the wall. In order for it to have been successful, the US had to be in the deal. Obama was for TPP and Hillary Clinton was for it before she was against it. To take effect, it must be ratified by at least 6 countries that account for 85 percent of the group's economic output.

Opponents to TPP see it as a secretive deal favoring big business and other countries at the expense of American jobs and national sovereignty. 

But since when was Obama interested in national sovereignty?

Even liberals were in large part against it because it would make it easier for companies to sue governments that change policies on such things as education and health providing in favor of state-provided services, sort of like the state as "Big Brother," which was apparently Obama's goal.

Both sides of the aisle saw TPP as intensifying competition between the labor forces of member countries.

Good start with hitting the ground running, Mr. President.

Trump on sanctions: "It's time to move on"

President-elect Donald J. Trump in discussing the sanctions against Russia for their alleged hacking our 2016 election said that "it's time for our country to move on to bigger and better things."

He made that comment in a written response four hours after the sanctions announcement was made. "Nevertheless, in the interest of our country and its great people, I will meet with leaders of the intelligence community next week in order to be updated on the facts of this situation."

The Obama amateur administration announced sanctions against Russia's intelligence services. They will be ejecting around 35 intelligence operatives from the U.S. as part of a response to the election influencing allegations.

It seems a bit worrisome that Trump believes we should "move on" before getting an intelligence update on the facts. 

Lame duck President Obama used an executive order to sanction the GRU and FSB, both Russian intelligence services.

Putin, on the other hand, said that he will wait until Trump is in office before he retaliates with sanctions of his own.

Let's hope the Donald Trump doesn't cozy up to Putin and maintains fierce vigilance over Russia's actions. But to be clear, what Russia did was to hack into the DNC and Podesta's emails, not into the actual election as the Democrats would like us to believe.

Obama to Trump: Lay low on executive orders

In an interview with National Public Radio (NPR) outgoing president Obama had some advice for incoming president Donald Trump: Don't use executive orders. 

The Hypocrite in Chief said, "Going through the legislative process is always better in part because it's harder to undo." Well, Obama didn't take his own advice and Trump said that he's going to undo all the executive orders of Obama's once he's in office starting with ObamaCare.

In Obama's second term, he warned Congress about his executive power: "I've got a pen and I've got a phone," he declared. He did not say, however, that he also has a gay lover and a pocket Koran. 

I'm not saying he has, he just didn't mention it.

In 2014, Obama went berserk with his executive pen and began to rely heavily on executive actions because Congress found it hard to support his socialist and controversial agenda, such as his irresponsible immigration policy, which even the Supreme Court blocked.

Mr. Trump said during his campaign that he would "cancel every unconstitutional executive action, memorandum and order issued by President Obama."

Personally, I'm just glad that President Obama is leaving the White House. In my opinion, he was the worst president in history and it will take a lot to surpass him in that category. 

And the very fact that his large-framed, angry wife is not allowing the peaceful transition of power to take place as witnessed by her comments, is testimony to the failures of his presidency.

Obama's executive order overruled

The king and his court has been overruled by a federal judge today. Try as he might to use his executive privilege to keep Operation Fast and Furious documents out of the hands of Congress, Obama will not get his way.

Judge Jackson

According to Politico, U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson made the ruling and public disclosures from the Department of Justice (DoJ) which, at times seems like an oxymoron term, will be made. 

The king and his court are appealing the ruling but hopefully, like the man who had the wrong leg amputated then the correct one removed and tried to sue and lost, Obama too will not have a leg to stand on.

Jackson's written response: "The Department itself has already publicly revealed the sum and substance of the very material it is now seeking to withhold. Since any harm that would flow from the disclosures sought here would be merely incremental, the records must be produced."

In 2012 the House voted to hold then-Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for withholding part of the records, and even 17 Democrats supported that.

Perhaps there's hope for the country.

But the question is: what is Obama trying to hide?

Appeals Court rules against Obama--finally

Barack Hussein Obama is our president but he is not our supreme ruler. He acts as if he would like to be in charge of every aspect of our lives, but he was finally stopped from making yet another lawless move.

Obama's executive action to prevent the deportation of about 5 million illegal aliens received a well-deserved setback yesterday when a federal appeals court upheld a federal judge's injunction blocking the action.

In a 2-1 decision by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans, the hope that Obama's executive action would be implemented, prior to his leaving us to thrive in 2017, has been thwarted, at least for now. If the Obama administration appeals this decision, which it probably will, the process could take months to play out, and the case could return to Texas federal court as well.

The plan is an illegal overreach and fully 26, of Obama's 57 states, have challenged it. (He must have confused the number with the 57 varieties of the Heinz Corporation--or maybe Kerry did because his wife owned the company.)

U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Hanen granted the temporary injunction preventing the implementation of the order in February. He believed, as did the states, that legalizing so many illegal aliens would be "virtually irreversible" and cause the states "irreparable harm."

Of course, the Obama administration argued that they have the right to stop the deportation of selected groups of immigrants (aka Muslims), including children who were brought to the U.S. illegally. In fact, if Obama had his way, there would be no borders, no police, no drug laws and no America as we know it.

GOP Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, said that "President Obama should abandon his lawless executive amnesty program and start enforcing the law today."

Saul Alinsky would disagree with Abbott.

The Justice Department stated that it disagreed with the court's decision, claiming that Obama's action would "allow DHS to bring greater accountability to our immigration system by prioritizing the removal of the worst offenders, not people who have long ties to the United States and who are raising American children."

Sure, it would bring about as much "accountability to our immigration system" as their refusal to pass "Kate's Law."
