New evidence damning to Obama in phony Russiagate scandal

Fresh evidence unsealed in the Michael Flynn court battle confirms-not implies-that former President Barack Hussein Obama played a central role in moving forward the whole fake Russiagate "scandal" that rocked the entire country.

Handwritten notes by the disgraced former FBI agent Peter Strzok show that Obama and his comical side-kick, Joe Biden who played along, encouraged the FBI and Department of Justice to investigate Flynn, in spite of their knowledge told to them by the FBI that Flynn's actions "appear legit."

Of course, we should not be too hard with Biden as it's quite possible his mental status is similar to what it is today--lacking the analytical capacity to distinguish his derriere from his elbow.

Strzok notes the document of then FBI chief James "Lordy" Comey's account, which gives more detail of the January 5, 22017 meeting that included Obama, Biden, Comey, Susan Rice and Sally Yates. [Rice was then National Security Adviser and Yates was then Deputy Attorney General.]

On learning that the FBI was set to close its investigation into Flynn after finding no evidence of wrongdoing, Obama and Biden suggested finding ways to keep it open, with Biden bringing up the (dead letter) Logan Act, because he graduated at the bottom third of his law school and didn't realize how preposterous his idea was at the time.

The notes show Obama ordering the continued investigation be kept secret from the incoming Trump administration.  “Make sure you look at things and have the right people on it,” Obama ordered.

After Trump entered the White House, Comey and Yates were able to take out Flynn, thus sidelining White House oversight of the

In the new administration, holdovers Comey and Yates did manage to take out Flynn, sidelining any effective White House oversight of the unprincipled Russiagate probe — and thus allowing it to grow like fungus.

Biden lied to ABC last month, “I know nothing about those moves to investigate Michael Flynn.” Still, it's possible he forgot as he has reached the point where he cannot identify his wife from his sister without assistance.

Serious-looking US Attorney John Durham is reviewing the origins of the Russiagate probe for signs of impropriety and unlawfulness. The report will hopefully be released to the public before the election in November.

Senators shine a light on 'unusual' Susan Rice email on Russia probe

Former national security adviser Susan Rice sent an "unusual email" to herself on January 20, 2017--the day President Trump was sworn into office. What made it 'unusual' was that it documented President Obama's guidance at a high-level covert meeting about how law enforcement ought to investigate Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, a pair of GOP senators said Monday.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Sen. Lindsey Graham said the partially unclassified email was sent by Rice the day of Trump's inauguration and it seems to document a meeting with Obama, then-FBI Director James Comey, then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, then-Vice President and Chief Gaffer Joe Biden and Rice herself.

In the email, Rice wrote: "President Obama began the conversation by stressing his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of this issue is handled by the Intelligence and law enforcement communities 'by the book.' The president stressed that he is not asking about, initiating or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective. He reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would by the book."

And true to Obama form, the email reflects his guidance on sharing sensitive information with both the Russians and the incoming Trump administration.

So rather than sharing information with the incoming administration, Rice revealed that Obama said "he wants to be sure that, as we engage with the incoming team, we are mindful to ascertain if there is any reason that we cannot share information fully as it relates to Russia."

"The President asked Comey to inform him if anything changes in the next few weeks that should affect how we share classified information with the incoming team. Comey said he would."

Grassley (R-Iowa), and Graham (R-SC), upon releasing the email Monday said that they uncovered it as part of their oversight of the FBI and the DOJ, and said it raises new questions.

"It strikes us as odd that, among your activities in the final moments on the final day of the Obama administration, you would feel the need to send yourself such an unusual email purporting to document a conversation involving President Obama and his interactions with the FBI regarding the Trump/Russia investigation," they said in a letter to Rice.

"In addition, despite your claim that President Obama repeatedly told Mr. Comey to proceed 'by the book,' substantial questions have arisen about whether officials at the FBI, as well as at the Justice Department and the State Department, actually did proceed 'by the book.'"

Perhaps Rice was told to 'cover their butts' by telling the FBI to go 'by the book.'

Certainly the Trump "dossier" wasn't 'by the book' nor was Fast and Furious, the Clinton private email server and the way Benghazi was mishandled.

I believe they were writing the book as they plowed along.

New Acting AG will enforce immigration order

Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates has been fired and replaced with a new acting AG Dana J. Boente. He has pledged to "defend and enforce" the laws of the land. Isn't that special?

When Yates refused to enforce Trump's lawful order, he did what he is known for: he fired her. And he was perfectly in his right to do so since she refused to do what she was sworn to do. An Attorney General doesn't get to pick and choose which laws (s)he wants to uphold.

She learned of her firing Monday evening in a hand-delivered note from the White House Office of Personnel, just hours after she directed the Justice Department lawyers not to defend the executive order. She wasn't convinced it was lawful or consistent with the agency's "obligation to always seek justice and stand for what is right."

Trump said in a statement that she "betrayed the Department of Justice by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States."

He fired her faster than a first-round loser in 'The Apprentice.'

Sean Spicer said in a statement that "Ms. Yates is an Obama administration appointee who is weak on borders and very weak on immigration."

According to The New York Times, Boente was sworn in at 9 p.m. ET.

"I am honored to serve President Trump in this role until Sen. Sessions is confirmed. I will defend and enforce the laws of our country to ensure that our people and our nation are protected," Boente said in a statement.

The executive order faced condemnation from executives at top companies who might be upset that they cannot hire illegal immigrants to perform cheap labor. Both Goldman Sachs and Coca-Cola are among those companies, both of which threw tons of money at the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign.

An Obama spokesman said the former incompetent president is "heartened" by the protests [if he only had a heart].

It is highly probable that Obama will not go away because he doesn't have the class of a George W. Bush. If it was up to Obama, there would be no borders, no fixed genders, no Israel, and America would be 'about average.'

But it isn't up to him.

Trump's executive order temporarily halts the U.S. refugee program and bans all entries from the same Muslim-majority countries that Obama first mentioned. The ban is only for 90 days but Soros-funded protesters are acting as if it's forever.

Speaking of Soros, have you noticed that since Hillary lost the election, the Soros-funded Black Lives Matter people are no longer relevant?

The entire refugee program is to be paused for merely 4 months and there is an indefinite ban on all people from war-torn Syria. But federal judges in several states, including New York, issued orders that temporarily block the government from deporting those with valid visas who arrived after the travel ban took effect. That seems to be a reasonable thing to do.

In spite of the chaos that ensued from the ban, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said: "You now have a president who really takes seriously the tremendous threat of international terrorism and is prepared to take steps that are very tough-minded and that are going to inconvenience some people."

The American people are behind President Trump and his tactics for keeping America safe. But leftists, like George Soros and Barack Obama are apparently going to do everything they can to get in his way for their own agendas.

UPDATE: Acting AG tells DoJ staff "don't defend Trump's refugee order

UPDATE: She's fired!

President Trump has fired Acting AG Sally Yates. He has every right to fire any Attorney General who refuses to back him up, as long as what is in question is legal. Like it or not, you have to admit, Donald Trump isn't your father's President.

Mr. Dana Boente will be taking Yates' place as Acting AG.

The news of her firing just came in at around 9:40 p.m. Monday.

Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, directed the Justice Department attorneys Monday not to defend President Trump's executive refugee and immigration ban. Yates is an Obama holdover until she can be replaced by the Trump administration.

The AG said in a memo that she was "not convinced" the President's order was lawful, not its defense consistent with the DoJ's obligation to "always seek justice and stand for what is right."

That sounds as if she's suggesting the President stands for what is wrong.

Her directive is likely to be temporary because Sen. Jeff Sessions will likely be the Attorney General and Yates will be back to practicing law on a less political level, one only hopes. Sessions is currently waiting for Senate confirmation.

However, Yates' decision has only increased the chaos surrounding the order. The Associated Press said that Defense Secretary James Mattis, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly and Rex Tillerson, who is awaiting confirmation as Secretary of State, are reportedly unaware of details of the directive until around the time the President signed it. Also, intelligence officials were not provided with the intel about the order.

Strange!

Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) the top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations committee, said despite White House assurances that congressional leaders were consulted, he learned about the order the same way Barack Obama learned about everything he learned as president: from the media.

There was immediate fallout between Trump and his top advisers and a sprint by the Pentagon to seek exemptions to the order. Trump's approach also sparked a public clash between the president and the civil servants who had to carry out his policy.

Bad!

Many American diplomats circulated a memo opposing the order which temporarily halted the entire US refugee program and banned entry from seven terrorist-spawning countries for 90 days. Sean Spicer, the White House Press Secretary and spokesman challenged those opposed to Trump's measure to resign.

"They should either get with the program, or they can go," he said.

The response from his own national security advisers exemplifies his weak relationship with them, as well as the incredible bureaucracy that exists in Washington. Trump outlined his plan for the temporary halting of US entry but it was crafted in a confusing way, stunning those who joined his team.

Mattis may be the most incensed. He along with Joint Chiefs Chairman Joseph Dunford were aware of the basic concept of Trump's order, but not the details. Tillerson told Trump's political advisers that he was baffled over not being consulted on the actual substance of the order.

Trump's order pauses the refugee program for 4 months and indefinitely bans all those from Syria, but it doesn't ban other countries with terrorist ties such as Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

While Trump privately acknowledges flaws in the rollout, he also blames the media, much like Obama blamed George Bush for all the problems he's facing. He said the voters who carried him to victory support the plan as a necessary step to safeguard the USA, and dismissed those opposed to it as attention-seeking rabble-rousers and grandstanding politicians.

That sounds like a dodge.

Let's hope this gets straightened out once Jeff Sessions, his SCOTUS appointment, is in office and his Cabinet is filled completely.
