Iran warms Trump they're "prepared to reveal new battlefield cards"

Ghalibaf / Morteza Nikoubazl / NurPhoto via Getty Images

Iran’s parliamentary speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, issued a direct warning to President Donald Trump on Monday via X. Iran, he declared, would not accept negotiations with the United States while under threat.

"Trump, by imposing a blockade and violating the ceasefire, seeks, in his view, to turn the negotiating table into a table of surrender or to justify renewed warmongering," he said.

"We do not accept negotiations under the shadow of threat, and over the past two weeks, we have prepared to reveal new cards on the battlefield," Ghalibaf added.

This is the familiar language of the Islamic Republic: defiant, theatrical, and steeped in the conviction that weakness invites only greater pressure.

Ghalibaf, who led the Iranian delegation in talks with Vice President J.D. Vance in Islamabad, Pakistan, on April 11, knows perfectly well that the regime’s position grows more precarious with every passing week of sanctions and isolation. Yet the script remains unchanged.

Threats of new “cards on the battlefield” are offered as though they might intimidate rather than invite the very escalation Tehran claims to fear. It is a posture the mullahs have perfected over decades: rejection of diplomacy dressed up as principled resistance, while the Iranian people continue to pay the price for their rulers’ intransigence.

Is it just me, or do you also hear the Kenny Rogers song, "The Gambler" in the back of your head?

Blinken evidently supports Hamas: will issue sanctions on IDF unit for alleged human rights violations in Judea and Samaria

Secretary of State Antony Blinken is likely going to impose sanctions on an Israeli Defense Forces battalion for allegedly committing human rights violations in Judea and Samaria [aka: the occupied West Bank], according to a report. Blinken is as Jewish as Biden is Catholic, based on his lack of full-bodied commitment to Israel, and he is willing to believe, or told to believe, anything negative about the Jewish State.

The decision to sanction the Netzah Yehuda Battalion would bar the military unit from receiving any US aid or training. This would, of course, lead to a dangerous situation for the soldiers in the unit, and hurt Israel's defense of their nation.

The worst part of this bonehead idea to sanction Israel is based on incidents they claim happened before the October 7, 2023 blood-lust attack on Israel, Axios reported, citing a US official. Why, it almost seems as if Blinken and the administration was looking to find some dirt on the IDF that they could hold against Israel to justify sanctions and weaken its defense for political reasons.

At a press conference in Italy, Blinken responded to questions about the recommendation and said he had made a decision based on the investigation’s probe.

“You can expect to see them in the days ahead,” Blinken said.

This isn't Blinken's first failure as secretary of state. On December 16, 2014, the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) opposed his nomination to become Obama's deputy secretary of state.

McCain said:
"Mr. Antony 'Tony' Blinken, who is not only unqualified, but in fact in my view, one of the worst selections that this president has chosen. I hope that many of my colleagues will understand that not often do I come to the floor to oppose a nomination from the President of the United States, because I believe that elections have consequences. In this case, this individual has actually been dangerous to America. He has been a functionary and an agent of a U.S. foreign policy that has made the world much less safe today. Let’s just review some of the elements, in particular, and his role in conceptualizing and furthering it.
"It lacks any concept of how to retain our foreign policy goals. This has led to foreign policy failures, including the continued slaughter of the Syrian people by President Bashar Assad … and the betrayal of our key allies, especially in central Europe.”

That Blinken was incompetent was known ten years ago and longer and should serve the country as a warning to what this can lead to, from the unprovoked Russian invasion of Ukraine, the first major European land war in decades, to the clusterfrack in Afghanistan, which can be blamed on the Biden administration and Blinken in particular.

On Feb. 22, 2022, Putin announced he was sending “peacekeepers” into eastern Ukraine. It didn't take long shortly afterward, that he began bombing Ukraine, marking the failure of U.S. State Department diplomacy with Blinken at the wheel.

Blinken's diplomacy has been a total failure as seen in his failure to deter Putin and he looked weak when he moved the State Department personnel out of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv. He said it wasn't a retreat, but it was actually a retreat.

Blinken has always been more concerned with climate blah blah blah than actual foreign affairs.

And now this charlatan is going after Israel for fairytale offenses as he anemically criticizes Hamas and Hezbollah. Thankfully, Americans don't buy his bull and the administration is pressured enough to continue helping our ally, Israel.

Babbling Biden handler slaps Russia with new sanctions as Putin annexes parts of Ukraine

The Biden administration is putting new sanctions Friday soon after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced in a rambling maniacal way of the annexation of four Ukraine provinces.

According to the person behind the White House curtain, the sanctions impose "swift and severe costs" on Moscow for its  “fraudulent and unlawful annexation” of Ukrainian territory.

“Make no mistake: these actions have no legitimacy,” President Biden mush-mouthed of Russia’s land grab. “The United States will always honor Ukraine’s internationally recognized borders.”

“In response to Russia’s phony claims of annexation, the United States, together with our Allies and partners, are announcing new sanctions today,” Biden's Teleprompter. “These sanctions will impose costs on individuals and entities — inside and outside of Russia — that provide political or economic support to illegal attempts to change the status of Ukrainian territory.”

When questioned by the so-called press about how he felt regarding Putin's move, Biden said, "I'll take him out behind the barn and challenge him to a push-up contest anytime. He doesn't scare me."

The sanctions target Russian government and military officials, as well as military officials in neighboring Belarus who are behind the war effort.

The sanctions will also affect 14 international firms identified as being part of the Russian military’s supply chain.

The measures took aim at the Russian economy, sanctioning Elvira Sakhipzadovna Nabiullina, the head of Russia’s central bank and the eponymous central figure in a song by the Oak Ridge Boys— as well as her deputy, longtime Putin advisor Olga Nikolaevna Skorobogatova. [Try saying those names three times fast.]

The US Treasury and State Departments also announced sanctions on relatives of members of Russia’s security council, including the wife and adult children of Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu — who was directly affected by earlier rounds of sanctions.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz steps up to the plate on Russia's invasion of Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz of the Democratic Socialist Party addressed an extraordinary session of Parliament on Sunday and made it very clear that Germany supports Ukraine in its fight against Russia after it invaded Ukraine's borders and has escalated a war against that nation.

First of all, he made it clear that he and Germany support Ukraine. He said that this war is "Putin's war," not the Russian people.

Next, he discussed sanctions and cutting the ability of some Russian banks to deal with SWIFT, as well as imposing sanctions directly on Russian President Putin and those close to him. It's all on the table, but one can imagine that it will not have much of a positive effect.

More importantly, Scholz is going to increase funding for the military by 100 billion Euros. "We must invest more to defend liberty," he said. This translates to more than a 2% increase in GDP for military spending regarding such things as "technical resilience in cyber security." He also calls for an increase in production of fighter jets and wants the EU, especially France, as a partner in this.

Also, he called for energy independence from Russia. He said that Germany will not refuse to speak with Russia, but they will not be naive and said Germany's greatest strength is their alliances.

Ukraine: Locked and Loaded

Russian President and Dictator for Life Vladimir Putin thought that his troops would have an easy time of it taking Ukraine. He figured it would be over in a matter of a few days and didn't foresee the Ukrainians putting up a fight. Putin puts the "dic" in dictator--he was wrong.

In the past two days, Ukraine says they have killed at least 2,800 Russian troops, shooting down helicopters and paratroopers in the air as rockets and airstrikes rained down on the capital of Ukraine.

A group of paratroopers landed in Kyiv and were lost. They asked Ukrainian civilians for help finding a meetup point but they were quickly surrounded and taken prisoner by the Ukraine military, according to a professor at National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy, Mychailo Wynnyckyj.

The professor was talking to Fox News' Martha MacCallum from an underground bunker and assured her that Ukrainians are not giving up and will fight the Russians to the bitter end. He asked the American people and members of NATO to help by providing air support--anti aircraft weapons and the like--but he did not ask for help on the ground as he is aware of the situation and the inability to provide them with boots on the ground.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration is not providing any sanctions with real "teeth," but will join the EU in adding more [useless] sanctions.

And as this war is going on, the US will be sitting at the same table to deal with the Iran nuclear deal.

Biden will be announcing his SCOTUS pick today and then will retreat to Delaware.

BREAKING: As this is being written, Germany said they may be willing to consider sanctioning Russia from SWIFT, the global banking platform. This is one of the only sanctions that might have bite, but to really make any difference, sanctions should be made permanent, in my opinion. But we need to see it before we should believe it.

NoKo threatens top UN body following emergency meeting

North Korea warned the UN Security Council that if they continued criticizing their missile program, they just might get mad--and you don't want to see them get mad. Although the threats were unspecified, their "Leader for Life" Kim Jong-Un [aka "Rocket Man"] told his delegates to tell the UN people, that he has been working out and is nobody to mess with.

The emergency meeting was held behind closed doors of the top UN body on Friday. The French circulated a proposed statement expressing concern over the electricity-shy nation's missile launches and calls on it to fully implement resolutions by the council to ban its ballistic missile tests.

Jo Choi Su, a senior North Korean Foreign Ministry official stood up, grabbed his crotch, rolled his shoulders and in his best Soprano's voice warned the UN council that it "had better think what consequences it will bring in the future in case it tries to encroach upon the sovereignty" of North Korea.

Jo, who gets angry if you call him Su, also accused the UN body of a "double-dealing standard" because it doesn't treat the U.S. and its allies like they treat the poor North Koreans.

North Korea resumed its missile tests this month after a six-month hiatus. They launched a newly developed missile that has nuclear capabilities and puts the U.S., and South Korea, key allies, within striking distance and this has President Biden thinking, "Where did I leave my mask?"

Kim Jong Un still offered conditional talks with South Korea, in what some self-described experts call an attempt to pressure Seoul to persuade Washington to relax crippling economic sanctions on it as the public in the north is getting tired of eating their main vegetable we call grass.

There are multiple UN Security Council resolutions which ban North Korea from engaging in ballistic missile activities, as they clearly are attempting to mount nuclear weapons on their ballistic missiles. They pretend the reason they continue to flaunt the resolutions is because they say it's meant to cope with the U.S. military threats, in spite of the absence of any military threats by the U.S.

Despite recent missile launches, North Korea maintains a 2018 self-imposed moratorium on a long-range missile directly threatening the American homeland, a sign that it wants to keep the chance alive for future diplomacy with the U.S., and if they just bide their time a little longer, President Biden will make them a deal and Hunter will be the go-between, or bagman, as it were.

U.S. officials have urged North Korea to return to talks without preconditions, but the North has argued it won’t do so unless the Americans drop their “hostile policy,” in an apparent reference to the sanctions and regular military drills between Washington and Seoul.

Iran might negotiate with U.S. if we reduce sanctions

AP Photo/Vahid Salemi, Bushehr nuclear
power plant
Tehran -- The Islamic Republic of Iran said it just might consider negotiations with the United States if economic sanctions are lifted. But then again, maybe not, so lift the sanctions to find out.

At a Monday news briefing, a spokes jihadi for Iran's foreign ministry said his country might consider negotiating with us when our talk is backed up by our actions and attitude.

Yes, we have to stop gathering in the streets of Washington while President Trump leads us in the chanting of: "Death to Iran!" It isn't nice and it shows our bad attitude to Iran.

Abbas Mousavi  said the best way for the U.S. to approach this would be a “decrease in pain and suffering of the Iranian people,” which he says has been caused by the targeted pressure by the U.S. and not by the Supreme Leader for Life constantly threatening the U.S. and its ally Israel with annihilation.

The spokesman also warned Iran is ready to continue to push its nuclear program if things don’t change, as if they aren't doing that as I write this.

“If we see that special and concrete actions by the remaining members of the nuclear deal are not being taken, and at the same time economic terrorism against the Islamic Republic of Iran is continuing, we will powerfully take the second step,” Mousavi claimed as he grabbed his crotch and bounced back and forth on the balls of his feet..

The warning comes amid reports Iran is ramping up its uranium enrichment efforts. The United Nations said it’s still unclear if Iran can produce weapons-grade nuclear fuel. But if it cannot, it's probably quite close to being able to do so.

Nevertheless, it would be crazy for us to remove the economic sanctions because we would not have anything to bargain with, and also because it's highly likely that Iran is just looking to remove the pressure, which shows us that it's working.

Omar fires back at Pence but proves herself to be an empty hijab

When it comes to things having nothing to do with race or religion, freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has to resort to her default position by going after anyone who disagrees with her un-American statements with ad hominem and racist attacks.

Omar fired back at VP Mike Pence for saying she ‘doesn’t know what she’s talking about’ concerning Venezuela's  escalating tensions, and if you consider what she said, Pence absolutely right--she is nothing more than an "empty hijab."

Here's what happened:

Earlier in the day, Pence accused Omar of not knowing “what she's talking about” after she tried to lay the responsibility for the ongoing situation in Venezuela on the Trump Administration over its “bullying” tactics and sanctions.

The sanctions, by the way, were on 250 individuals, not the country and only recently escalated as Maduro became increasingly repressive to the people.

“Women of color have heard this before. Instead of ‘We disagree,’ it's ‘She doesn't know what she's talking about,’” Omar tweeted. “They have to make us feel small. This from an Administration that thinks climate change is a Chinese hoax.”

By 'women of color' Omar was using race as verbal kryptonite because she doesn't have the capacity to defend her empty claims. She does this with race and her Islamic religion. The left tends to attack in this manner whenever they have no decent counter argument.

Pence, for his part, assigned blame for the unrest to embattled President Nicolas Maduro, putting the blame where it belongs.

"Nicolas Maduro is a socialist dictator who has taken what was one of the most prosperous nations in this hemisphere and brought it literally to a level of deprivation and oppression and poverty that we have never seen,” Pence said. “Nine out of 10 people in Venezuela live in poverty. Three million people have fled Venezuela. That's not a result of U.S. policies. That's the result of dictatorship and socialism that has been imposed on people of Venezuela by Nicolas Maduro."

Earlier in the week, Omar attacked the United States on PBS’ “Democracy Now!.” She said that "a lot of the policies that we have put in place has kind of helped lead the devastation in Venezuela and we have sort of set the stage for where we are arriving today."

Kinda, sorta, like helped. She gave no clear examples of how we mean, terrible Americans set the stage because there are no examples.

“This particular bullying and the use of sanctions to eventually intervene and make regime change really does not help the people of countries like Venezuela, and it certainly does not help and is not in the interest of the United States," she added.

The reason the Trump Administration imposed sanctions on Venezuela was not for bullying Maduro, it was because he basically rewrote the constitution of the country to secure his dictatorship over the people who are resorting to eating pigeons and stray dogs to feed themselves while he gets fatter.

Pence separately took issue with those remarks on Thursday, accusing her on Twitter of picking “socialism over freedom.” He went on to extend the administration’s support to “the freedom-loving people of Venezuela.”

The truth is, our sanctions of Venezuela is not killing the country, Maduro is with the help of socialism. Venezuela's GDP has crashed by about 50 percent since 2013. And while Omar might have a case to hate the U.S. interventionism in Muslim nations like Iraq, Syria and Libya, where many people have been killed and lives upended, and our policy and support of some of the scumcrumpets in these countries have made things worse, Venezuela is a totally different case.
"Catch the Cats 'n Rats Fun Run"
Venezuela is not the Middle East. Our policies are not the reason why Venezuela is a mess, as the anti-American congresswoman said this week. The U.S. is not making Venezuela any worse than it is or will become under existing leadership. Her view mimics many left-of-center voices critical of the regime change policies that began under Bush and Cheney.

The ruling Socialists United of Venezuela is, point blank, the only reason why Venezuela is a mess. Nicolas Maduro is its leader and dictator. He governs a failed state and 50 other countries all agree.

Brazil and Colombia are taking in around one million Venezuelans who have fled the country. Some parents have chosen to take their kids out of school and live in United Nations tents in Colombia instead of Maduro's Venezuela. That's how bad it has gotten.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with the Trump Administration, as Omar suggests. It's Maduro's incompetence that's killing Venezuela. The country began circling the bowl with an economic depression in the Obama years, and it was then that Obama first sanctioned members of the Maduro Administration in 2015.

Trump later sanctioned Maduro's Vice President Tareck El Aissami for drug trafficking in February 2017, and later that year, U.S. companies were banned from providing financial assistance (as in loans) to one company only, oil firm PdVSA.

The claim that the U.S. is banning food and medicine shipments to Venezuela is not actually true. When those shipments are not going to sanctioned individuals, it isn't breaking sanctions law.

Ilhan Omar doesn't know what she's talking about but as long as what she says is an attack on this administration, the left will support it because the truth is less important than the effect as far as they're concerned.

No soup for Iran: Trump hits them with new sanctions

On Friday, the Trump Administration hit the scummy terrorist, jihad-exporting, sharia supremacist Iranian regime with a new round of sanctions.

The Trump administration announced Friday that it is slapping new sanctions on more than two dozen Iranian scumcrumpets involved in the country’s nuclear and missile research programs, as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo denounced Iran’s growing influence.

The Treasury Department said the sanctions target 31 Iranian terror scientists, terror technicians and terror-supporting companies affiliated with Iran’s terrorist Organization for Defense Innovation and Research, a group known to have been at the forefront of Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

“Individuals working for Iran’s proliferation-related programs—including scientists, procurement agents, and technical experts—should be aware of the reputational [sic] and financial risk they expose themselves to by working for Iran’s nuclear program,” the State Department said in a statement on Friday.

The officials being sanctioned continue to work in Iran’s defense sector and are part of a core group of experts who could reinstate the nuclear program. The sanctions cover 14 people, including the head of the organization, and 17 subsidiary operations.

President Trump withdrew from the nuclear deal or Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, in May 2018, describing it at the time as a "horrible, one-sided deal."

Now Iran has someone willing to stand up against their terrorist regime.

It's confirmed: Iran successfully fired nuclear capable missiles

Brian Hook
Photo: Getty Images
It was confirmed Monday by senior U.S. officials that Iran has successfully test-fired a number of nuclear-capable missiles. Of course, this is in direct violation of the useless U.N. restrictions on such bellicose activity and it drew a strong negative reaction from the Trump administration.

The U.S. will now pressure European leaders to take immediate action this week in order to counter Iran's latest actions.
Iran claims that its illicit missile tests are defensive in nature, but the Trump administration refutes that and Iran envoy Brian Hook vowed tough reprisals for Iran's most recent missile tests, which are among the most provocative in recent memory and a direct threat to Israel and the United States, in that order.

"Iran has launched missiles that are capable of carrying multiple warheads, including a nuclear weapon," Hook told reporters aboard Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's airplane en route to Brussels for NATO meetings.

This latest Iranian ballistic missile test comes on the heels of fresh evidence the U.S. uncovered which ties Tehran to the proliferation of advanced weapons systems and missiles across the Middle East, including Yemen, where Iranian-backed rebels continue to fight a Saudi coalition seeking to stem the violence.

The Trump administration's response to these tests is quite different from that of former president Obama, who left Iran's missile technology alone because he was more interested in inking the landmark nuclear deal for his legacy-less legacy. Obama's dealings with Iran has gotten us to the present point.

"The Iranian government claims that its missile testing is completely defensive in nature. How exactly is the world's leading sponsor of terrorism entitled to the claim of defense?" Hook asked. "In fact, Iran's security concerns are entirely self generated. Was the plot to bomb Paris defensive? Was the assassination attempt in Denmark defensive? Is smuggling missiles to the Houthis in Yemen to attack Saudi Arabia and the Emirates defensive? Is harboring al Qaeda defensive?"

"For the last twelve years, the United Nations Security Council has been telling the Iranian regime to stop testing and proliferating ballistic missiles, and Iran continues to defy the U.N. Security Council," Hook added. "Iran's continued testing and proliferation of ballistic missiles shows that the Iran deal has not moderated the Iranian regime as some had hoped."

"It was a mistake to exclude missiles from the Iran nuclear deal and is one of the principle reasons the United States left it," Hook said, directly criticizing the Obama administration for caving to Iran's demands that its advanced missile program not be covered under the deal. "Iran's defense needs would be entirely different if they had not decided to wage sectarian wars of choice for the last 39 years."

Pompeo is likely to raise the issue of Iran's missile tests during meetings Monday and Tuesday with European officials.

The Trump administration would like to convince our European allies to impose sanctions as reprisal for Iran's behavior, but many of these allies are hesitant to move forward on sanctions.

The administration is hoping to convince European allies to move forward with new sanctions as reprisal for the missile tests, a position many of these allies are hesitant to adopt.

CIA determined Khashoggi's death ordered by Saudi Crown Prince

The CIA has determined that Jamal Khashoggi's death last month came from the orders of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman [aka: MBS]. So while he feigned surprise, he knew the story.

Khashoggi was murdered in the Saudi Consulate in Turkey. The CIA's conclusion came as a result of "an understanding of how Saudi Arabia works," rather than finding a "smoking gun," as it were.

In other words, you don't go to the Saudi Consulate anywhere in the world and kill anyone unless you have the orders from a guy named Mohammed.

An official said of the incident that the journalist's death "would not and could not have happened" if MBS wasn't connected to it. The murder had to have his blessings.

The information comes just one day after Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir insisted MBS had nothing to do with the murder of the Washington Post columnist's death.

"Absolutely, his royal highness the crown prince has nothing to do with this issue," he told the media.

'And snakes have hips,' he could have added, and it would have been just as true.

MBS "denied any knowledge" of the circumstances that led to Khashoggi's disappearance, President Trump told us.

"Just spoke with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia who totally denied any knowledge of what took place in their Turkish Consulate," Trump tweeted.

If it was totally, as opposed to partially, it must, therefore, be true.

News of the CIA's findings comes a day after the Treasury Department put sanctions on 17 Saudi government officials over Khashoggi's death.

Canada has decided not to sanction the Saudis at all. Eh?

The Saudis claim that 21 people are in custody and the country's top prosecutor revealed that he would seek the death penalty for five of them--so they'll be taking one for the team, it seems.

Originally, the Saudis claimed Khashoggi was accidentally killed in a fight against 15 guys. Maybe they figured we'd figure he was drunk and thought he could beat the crap out of 15 guys.

"Discussions between citizen Jamal Khashoggi and those who met him while he was in the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul led to a brawl and a physical altercation, which led to his death," the Saudi's attorney general lied.

Iran goes bug-bang ballistic over sanctions: Rouhani grabs his crotch and talks all bellicose and stuff

The Trump administration snapped back sanctions on Iran and they liked it about as much as a beaver with dentures.

The Islamic Republic of Iran went ballistic on Monday and began the day with air defense drills and an acknowledgement from President Hassan Rouhani that the country now faces a "war situation." This has obviously increased tensions as our tough approach to the s***hole country takes hold.

The sanctions now have ended all the economic benefits the US has granted the nation that chants "Death to America!" "Death to Israel!" with their morning tea that we granted them since the 2015 crappy nuclear deal.

Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam and buddies with Obama and Keith Ellison, to name a few, led the same "Death to America" chant in Iran, and even with his multitude of anti Semitic rhetoric, has still not been banned from Twitter or Facebook.

Ostensibly, Iran continues to abide by the accord that limits its enrichment of uranium, but hey, you never know. Iran's officials threaten they could resume enrichment at the drop of a turban.

The sanctions we've imposed really hurt Iran's vital oil industry, a source where much of their feeble economy depends. Their money has plummeted over the last year, and prices have skyrocketed as a result.

"Today, Iran is able to sell its oil and it will sell," Rouhani bragged Monday as the sanctions began.

The military drill was televised on state TV. It was to continue through Tuesday as Americans go to the polls. Iranian army Gen. Habibillah Sayyari [his Jewish friends call him "Hi Bubbalah"] said the country's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard, the same crap-weasels who kidnapped our sailors a few years ago in the Straits of Hormuz, were taking part in the exercise. And while many of them needed a shower before the exercises began, all will surely need one afterward.

Rouhani pledged to government officials on state TV that Iran would overcome the sanctions, and Kyrsten Sinema, along with some of her anti-Trump friends, sang "We Shall Overcome" for the Iranian cause, but added, "Let's not forget about the Taliban! Let's give them a big hand!"

Iran's national currency, the rial, currently trades at 145,000 to a U.S. buck, down from 40,500 to the US dollar from last year. The chaos it caused resulted in mass anti-government protests leading to 5,000 arrests and only 25 people killed, as some demonstrations continue to this day.

The Trump administration say the sanctions are aimed at persuading the government of Iran to radically change its bellicose policies, including support for regional militant groups and its development of long-range ballistic missiles that they would love to use on the US and Israel.

On the other hand, both National Security Advisor John Bolton and Rudy Giuliani, President Trump's personal lawyer, made public statements supporting the overthrow of Iran's theocratic, dictatorial government.

Trump okays sanctions on $200 billion in Chinese goods

President Trump has given the go ahead to proceed with tariffs against $200 billion in Chinese goods, sources told Fox News on Friday. The sanctions will include the elusive Chinese finger traps, firecrackers and hand fans.

Regarding when this will begin is not clear as yet, but the move will mark the latest in a growing trade war with Beijing and a possible quieter July 4th next year. The president is seeking to combat what he perceives as unfair trade practices from China.

The Wall Street Journal on Saturday reported the tariff level will probably be set at around 10 percent, which is below the original 25 percent Trump initially suggested.

"The President has been clear that he and his administration will continue to take action to address China's unfair trade practices," the White House said in a statement on Friday. "We encourage China to address the long-standing concerns raised by the United States."

Both China and the U.S. imposed 25 percent tariffs on $50 billion of each other's goods, bringing the price of cheap furniture, scissors, moo shoo pork and Samsung phones up significantly. This week, the U.S. invited China to hold talks on the tariff situation.

A Chinese foreign ministry spokesman told the Associated Press that "We have indeed received an invitation from the U.S. side. We welcome it. Now the two sides are in communication on relevant details."

The two sides met in August but reported no progress. The WSJ reported that the Chinese hoped that any final decision on tariffs would be delayed until after the next round of talks.

China has also threatened to retaliate against $60 billion of American products if Trump goes ahead with his tariffs, but that's to be expected because that's always the case when one country puts tariffs on another.

Trump shouldn't be surprised.

Breaking: Iran test fires ballistic missile

In an exclusive by  Fox News it was reported that Iran has test-fired a ballistic missile for the first time this year. And folks, this could be the start of something big!

It's been over a year since Iran test-fired a ballistic missile and it's clearly in defiance just months after President Trump pulled us out of the crappy nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and right before his administration slapped on new sanctions.

The missile test was reported to Fox News by three U.S. officials with knowledge about the launch.

The missile test was of an Iranian Fateh-110 short-range ballistic missile. Coinciding with the launch, a large-scale naval exercise by Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps was taking place involving over 50 gunboats in the Strait of Hormuz. They were rehearsing "swarm" tactics which could potentially shut down the vital waterway, through which 30 percent of the world's oil passes each year. But to shut it down, that would also put a damper on Iranian oil exportation.

The U.S. military publicly confirmed the naval activity, but the missile test from their military base in Bandar-e-Jask in southern Iran was not previously reported. The launch was detected by a U.S. spy satellite, a piece of equipment jihadis do not yet possess.

According to the anonymous officials [requested due to the sensitivity of the information] the anti-ship Fateh-110 Mod 3 flew over 100 miles on a flight path over the Strait of Hormuz to a test range in the Iranian desert.

No U.S. assets were in danger nor in the area when the lunatics conducted the test. The guided-missile destroyer USS The Sullivans [named after the famed 5 Sullivan brothers who all perished in World War II changing the protocol whereby siblings cannot serve aboard the same vessel] had been escorting other vessels through the strait in recent days.

A Pentagon spokesperson decline to speak about the launch thus causing one to wonder why he isn't referred to as a Pentagon mute-person.

The top American commander for U.S. forces in the Middle East told the press Iran's naval activity was meant to "send a message" to the United States.

The country is now standing by for the follow-up tweet by President Trump.

Iran changes its chant: 'Death to the Dictator'

Iran's economy is as sluggish as a slug on quaalude and the people are no longer calling for the death of America or the death of Israel. Now they're calling for the death to the dictators, Rouhani and Khamenei, as President Trump's sanctions are having their desired effect.

Protests like these are unheard of in Iran but people are clearly fed up with the Islamic Republic's ruling class. It's possible that big changes are on the horizon.

Videos covertly taken inside Iran and shown on social media show thousands of angry protesters marching in the streets. One video taken at the end of a soccer match shows the crowd leaving the stadium yelling "death to the dictator! Death to Khamenei! Death to Rouhani!" and "Islamic regime must get lost!" according to what is probably a poor translation by a Middle East analyst.

A video in Tehran shows scores of buses lined up as far as the eye can see, with the Middle East analyst explaining that the government has refused to pay back its debts to a contractor that provides fuel for the buses, leaving them and the thousands of passengers stranded, unable to get to their jobs.

One bus driver is heard saying, "Look at our situation. We've been waiting for 24 hours. How dare the regime send money to Hezbollah and Palestine when the country is in trouble. Our revolution's aim wasn't to support dirty [Hezbollah leader] Hassan Nasrallah and we can be oppressed here. Enough."

The Trump administration restored sanctions which constrict the money Iran normally uses to fund "terrorists, dictators, proxy militias, and the regime's own cronies," according to a Trump official.

Trump signed the executive order Monday restoring some of the sanctions that were lifted under Obama in 2015 when the nuclear deal was signed and pallets of money was sent to Iran "to appease the alligator."

Trump has assured us that in November, sanctions on Iran's oil and gas and banking sector will be restored. An administration official said the U.S. will aggressively enforce these sanctions and even allied businesses who still do business with Iran will be subjected to penalties.

Trump tweeted that he is "asking for WORLD PEACE, nothing less!"

In an affront to President Trump, the EU's foreign policy chief is urging "increased business with Iran," proving just how much the UE sucks and how right Brexit is.

Iran threatens U.S. with 'this and that' if we exit nuclear deal

Dubai -- Iran's figurehead president Hassan Rouhani said on Saturday that their atomic agency was prepared to rain down "expected and unexpected" reactions if the United States pulls out of the nuclear deal as President Trump has threatened to do.

"Our atomic energy organization is fully prepared . . . for actions that they expect and actions they do not expect," Rouhani threatened. He did not go into detail, because the Ayatollah probably didn't tell him the details, but his speech was carried out on Islamic state television, referring to Trump's possible decision to leave the accord next month.

The nuclear deal between the USA and the jihad state of Iran, as well as five other world powers, curbs Iran's nuclear ambitions in exchange for sanction relief.

Trump said the agreement was one of the worst deals ever negotiated in the history of the universe, or something to that effect. In January, he sent an ultimatum to France, Germany and Britain telling them they must agree to fix what he sees as the deal's flaws or he would refuse to extend the critical U.S. sanctions relief that are currently in place.

The deadline is May 12th.

Robert Wood, U.S. disarmament ambassador said on Thursday that Washington was involved in "intense" talks with our European allies over the deal, and said the sanctions will be resumed unless Trump decides to issue new waivers to suspend them.

Sneaky Iran claimed it will stick to the deal as long as other countries respect it, but will "shred" the deal if the U.S. pulls out.

"Iran has several options if the United States leaves the nuclear deal. Tehran's reaction to America's withdrawal of the deal will be unpleasant," Iranian state TV said, quoting Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in New York.

Rouhani said Iran intends to prevent instability in the foreign exchange market if the U.S. leaves the deal and the central bank slapped controls on markets.

"This was a preventable blow against any American decision on May 12. They fully hoped to . . . cause chaos in the (foreign exchange) market. I promise to the people that the plot of the enemy has been thwarted, and whether or not the nuclear deal remains in effect, we will have no problem," Rouhani lied.

Iran's currency, the rial, fell to an all-time low over concerns of a return of crippling sanctions and the country formally banned money changing outside of banks.

I don't believe that President Trump is shaking in his Ferragamos.

McMaster wants to 'cut off' funding Iran's jihadis

Photo: U.S. Embassy Berlin/Facebook
National Security Advisor H.R, McMaster thinks it's a good idea to stop sending money to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). He thinks it makes good sense in security advice and it's hard to argue with him on that one.

McMaster, speaking at the Munich Security Conference, said it was time to "cut off funding" to the group because it has played a "central role" in Iran's becoming the world's leader in state sponsored terror.

I would have thought Obama had that figured out but I guess not. What has taken us so long? Trump should have done this on January 20, 2017.

McMaster also noted that Iran's main civilian airline, Mahan Air, is affiliated with the IRGC and that the airline is permitted to land in Munich in spite of Iran using the planes to transport people and weapons to aid its allies, including Bashar "The Chin" al-Assad in Syria.

What's up with that?

Last October, President Trump didn't certify Iran's compliance with the nuclear deal, and he vowed to target the IRGC with further sanctions.

When Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin announced those IRGC sanctions, he said that "the IRGC has played a central role to Iran becoming the world's foremost state sponsor of terror." He further warned "the private sector to recognize that the IRGC permeates much of the Iranian economy, and those who transact with IRGC-controlled companies do so at great risk."

"What Iran is actually doing is applying the Hezbollah model to the greater Middle East," McMaster said. "They want the Arab world perpetually weak, and [they want] weak governments in power that are dependent on Iran for support, while they grow terrorist organizations, militias, illegal arms groups outside that government's control that can turn against government if that government acts against Iran's interests."

[See Syria]

Basically what McMaster was saying that when a country invests in Iran, it is investing in the IRGC.

You recall the IRGC kidnapped U.S. Navy sailors, had them go to their knees while they held them at gunpoint. They are also the same scum weasels that have threatened other ships in various ways.

We need to cut them off immediately.

McMaster called on the world community to "address serious flaws in the Iran deal and counter Iran's destabilizing activities, including its development and proliferation of missiles, and its support for terrorist proxies and militias that fuel destructive conflicts across the greater Middle East.

"Come to North Korea--safer than London Bridge attacks"

North Korea is trying to get into the tourism business with Russia now that more sanctions have been imposed on the hermit nation after promising to rein fire and destruction on the United States.

They are saying that their dictatorship is 'safer than an evening walk in London' and what with the spate of terrorist attacks of late, they might be correct, much like the broken clock at the coincidental times twice a day.

NKOREAN.RU was launched in Russia with North Korea's approval. It's the first agency in Moscow offering tours to North Korea for "groups of up to 10 people or individuals to show the travelers the multi-faceted life of this most closed of countries," reports Reuters.

Before visitors begin their trip, they will be "checked" by North Korean officials, who will perform a complete cavity search to ensure the safety of all concerned.

Then they will be escorted by a tour guide "who will monitor the adequate behavior of the tourist and guarantee his safety," according to their website, begging the question as to whether women will also be allowed to visit.

The most expensive tour costs about $1,997 and offers 15 days in the country as they experience "the full immersion in the culture of North Korea."

For example, tourists will learn how to realistically cry when an important government official dies, say, in a minefield or by a force majeure with an anti-aircraft gun, as a smiling Kim Jong Un watches the event through binoculars.

The tour will also include traveling to a Buddhist temple, where prayer and worship are forbidden in the atheistic hermit nation. Some lucky tourists might even get to see government officials questioning Buddhist monks before dealing with them in other ways.

The Museum of North Korean Agriculture will be on the venue. No visitor is going to want to miss it as they witness a display of the nation's main vegetable and staple-- grass.

The high-end tour will include a visit to a mineral water factory, where North Korean scientists work round the clock in an attempt to discover ways of removing sediments and other impurities from the water. It is said they are merely several months away from perfecting the process.

The less expensive tour offers travelers a day at the beach and a beer festival featuring craft beers made from the waters of the mineral water factory.

Tour guides will ensure all guests are made aware of anti-personnel mines along the beach put there by North Koreans for North Koreans.

American students are no longer welcome in North Korea, but that's okay--we always have Cuba if we want to see how Communists live.

NoKo threatens revenge against U.S. for sanctions

The "Ballistic Rockettes"
Pyongyang said Monday that it will launch "thousands-fold" revenge against the United States because of the UN sanctions imposed on the hermit nation for its nuclear and ballistic missile ambitions.

The tough UN Security Council sanctions were anonymously approved Saturday. They include a ban on coal and other exports which are worth over a $1 billion.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), a state media organization, said that there will be "stern action of justice."

"We are ready to retaliate with fa bigger actions to make the U.S. pay a price for its crime against our country and people," they wrote.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson attended a meeting of foreign ministers in Manila on Sunday. His North Korean counterpart, Ri Yong Ho (whose daughter Heidi was not in attendance) was also at the meeting but the two didn't talk to each other or share eye contact.

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi publicly admonished North Korea to abide by the sanctions. "Do not violate the U.N.'s decision or provoke international society's goodwill by conducting missile launching or nuclear tests," he told Ri in Chinese.

Ri didn't respond publicly, but his face turned red. North Korea's Rodong Sinmun fake news website published a statement dismissing the sanctions saying they are "cooked up by the U.S." They added that "the U.S. mainland is on the crossroads of life and death."

Ha! Ho. Just try it.

POTUS signs sanctions bill but has buyer's remorse

President Trump accused Congress of bringing relations with Russia to an "all-time & very dangerous low" after reluctantly signing a sanctions bill which had yooge bipartisan approval the previous day. The legislation had a furious response from Barack Obama's open mike confidante, Dmitry Medvedev, Russia's Prime Minister.

Trump tweeted:
"Our relationship with Russia is at an all-time & very dangerous low. You can thank Congress, the same people that can't even give us HCare!"
So when Congress finally does do something, and Trump signs it, he's angry at them for being tough on Russia? Of course, he basically had to sign it because the bill had a veto-proof majority and he would have looked foolish if he vetoed it.

After signing the bill Trump issued a written statement complaining that Congress was overstepping its constitutional bounds and impeding his ability to deal with foreign countries.

Medvedev tweeted that Trump's administration had shown "total weakness by handing over executive power to  Congress in the most humiliating way."

Russia often pretends to understand how our government works but they haven't a clue. Congress makes the laws, the president doesn't.

But Medvedev is appealing to the president's narcissism and it probably flips the right switches. He also said on Facebook that the legislation "ends hopes for improving our relations with the new U.S. administration," prompting CNN to say: 'See, we told you he's buddies with Putin.'

Medvedev acknowledged that Trump was under pressure to sign the bill but suggested that it's a plot to ultimately oust him as president.

"The issue of new sanctions came about, primarily as another way to knock Trump down a peg. New steps are to come, and they will ultimately aim to remove him from power. A non-systemic player has to be removed," he wrote.

Trump said the law will "punish and deter bad behavior" by Iran and North Korea, and will enhance existing sanctions on Moscow, but made it obvious his distaste for the existing bill.

Medvedev's words has probably infuriated Trump who has said in a statement that the bill is "seriously flawed--particularly because it encroaches on the executive branch's authority to negotiate."

His authority to negotiate, like the powers of any U.S. president to dictate, are checked and balanced by the other branches of government.

President Trump may not like it, but Congress did nothing more than put sanctions on Russia that they deserved.
