Iran threatens to close Straits of Hormuz

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told state TV, "if some day, the United States decides to block Iran's oil [exports], no oil will be exported from the Persian Gulf."

That is, should the U.S. block Iran's oil exports, Iran's president is telling the world that his country, the world's premiere supporter of international terrorism, is prepared to shut the Straits of Hormuz. This is a highly critical shipping route for the world's oil supplies, and if he goes ahead and does this, things are going to get dicey.

In November the Trump administration snapped back nuclear sanctions on Iran, targeting its energy sector and has reduced its exports by 1 million barrels a day.

According to CNBC, in 2015 roughly 18.5 billion barrels of crude oil, which accounts for about one-third of all crude shipped overseas, passed through the Straits of Hormuz.

The threat made by Rouhani came as the USS John C. Stennis carrier strike group was heading to the Persian Gulf.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that military officials called the move “a show of force against Iran.”

Apparently it has them somewhat scared.

The carrier group would also be supporting U.S. and allied efforts against ISIS in Iraq and Syria, and against the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Officials told the Journal the presence of the carrier in the Gulf “certainly provides a deterrence” against any possible hostile Iranian actions.

This isn't the first time that Rouhani has threatened the world’s oil supply routes.

In July he suggested Iran would close the Straits of Hormuz, if the United States forced nations to stop buying Iranian oil.

In a statement posted on his website, the second in command, only to the Ayatollah said, “The Americans have claimed they want to completely stop Iran’s oil exports. They don’t understand the meaning of this statement, because it has no meaning for Iranian oil not to be exported, while the region’s oil is exported.”

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani praised Rouhani for his comments. Qassem, who has enlarged testicles, likes guys who have similar macho endowment.

Referring to Rouhani’s statement, Soleimani said, “Your valuable statement that said there will be no guarantees for oil exports from this region unless the Islamic Republic of Iran (can) also export its oil was a source of pride.”

He then blew an Iranian kiss on Iranian TV to the Iranian President who is only second in command.

The Houthis, the Iranian-backed scum-rebels in Yemen, have been threatening merchant ships in the Bab al-Mandab straits, at the mouth of the Red Sea. That  threat prompted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to assert earlier this year that an international coalition, including Israel, would be prepared to keep that critical waterway open.

It's beginning to look like Iran is all hat, no cattle.

Let's hope so.

Iran changes its chant: 'Death to the Dictator'

Iran's economy is as sluggish as a slug on quaalude and the people are no longer calling for the death of America or the death of Israel. Now they're calling for the death to the dictators, Rouhani and Khamenei, as President Trump's sanctions are having their desired effect.

Protests like these are unheard of in Iran but people are clearly fed up with the Islamic Republic's ruling class. It's possible that big changes are on the horizon.

Videos covertly taken inside Iran and shown on social media show thousands of angry protesters marching in the streets. One video taken at the end of a soccer match shows the crowd leaving the stadium yelling "death to the dictator! Death to Khamenei! Death to Rouhani!" and "Islamic regime must get lost!" according to what is probably a poor translation by a Middle East analyst.

A video in Tehran shows scores of buses lined up as far as the eye can see, with the Middle East analyst explaining that the government has refused to pay back its debts to a contractor that provides fuel for the buses, leaving them and the thousands of passengers stranded, unable to get to their jobs.

One bus driver is heard saying, "Look at our situation. We've been waiting for 24 hours. How dare the regime send money to Hezbollah and Palestine when the country is in trouble. Our revolution's aim wasn't to support dirty [Hezbollah leader] Hassan Nasrallah and we can be oppressed here. Enough."

The Trump administration restored sanctions which constrict the money Iran normally uses to fund "terrorists, dictators, proxy militias, and the regime's own cronies," according to a Trump official.

Trump signed the executive order Monday restoring some of the sanctions that were lifted under Obama in 2015 when the nuclear deal was signed and pallets of money was sent to Iran "to appease the alligator."

Trump has assured us that in November, sanctions on Iran's oil and gas and banking sector will be restored. An administration official said the U.S. will aggressively enforce these sanctions and even allied businesses who still do business with Iran will be subjected to penalties.

Trump tweeted that he is "asking for WORLD PEACE, nothing less!"

In an affront to President Trump, the EU's foreign policy chief is urging "increased business with Iran," proving just how much the UE sucks and how right Brexit is.

Iran's winner of Yasser Arafat Lookalike Contest Threatens to sink US ships if Trump kills deal

President Trump in no uncertain terms made it clear to Iran on Tuesday saying that Iran would have "bigger problems than they have ever had before" if the country dared to restart its nuclear program if the US pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal.

A top Iranian Revolutionary Guard naval commander and winner of the Yasser Arafat Lookalike Contest, Admiral Ali Fadavim threatened the United States. He said that if we pulled out of the crappy Iranian deal, which allows Iran to eventually develop nuclear weapons and destroy the world so they can get to heaven, the US would find itself in a "catastrophic situation."

Grabbing his crotch and bouncing on the balls of his feet, Fadavim said "The actual information that the Americans have about us is much less than what they think they have. When will they figure this out? When it is too late."

"They will definitely figure it out when their ships are sunk, or when they find themselves in a catastrophic situation," he told IRINN TV according to a translatin by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

He probably thinks Trump gets his military advice from Barack Obama, but he may find out the hard way that the United States isn't going to sit by and watch Iran kidnap our sailors, like Obama did when it first occurred under his watch.

Trump is definitely not Obama. He may be unpredictable and a little crazy, but his unpredictability is what appears to be the catalyst of change such as we are possibly seeing in North Korea.

According to a non-proliferation envoy, the US isn't looking to renegotiate the nuclear accord. Instead, Trump appears to want a separate agreement in line with the one proposed at a press conference with President Trump by French President Emmanuel Macron.

Admiral Fadavim's threat comes after a similar finger wagging from Iran's President Hassan Rouhani.

"I am telling those in the White House that if they do not live up to their commitments, the Iranian government will react firmly," Rouhani said, adding that "if anyone betrays the deal, they should know that they would face severe consequences."

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif basically reiterated the same line over the weekend warning that Iran was ready to move swiftly to enrich uranium if the US shuts down the accord [as if they aren't doing or planning to do it at this time].

And just to prove Iran really means business, Ali Shamkhani, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council threatened that his country would consider withdrawing from the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty if the US reimposes sanctions.

Ironically, if Iran leaves the nuclear deal and the NPT, they're proving the claims of their adversaries that they are seeking to build a nuclear weapon. Anyone who thinks otherwise is suicidally mistaken.

Naked statue cover-up

Iranian president Hassan Rouhani is visiting Rome, and it appears some of the Italian cultural folks are worried that the naked statues on display may cause him undue carnal embarrassment. They have covered them up so as not to offend him.

One wonders if the male statues, for example, will cause Rouhani's eyes to wander south and if so, will this be a danger to the Iranian Shi'ite leader upon his return to his homeland. If branded a homosexual, he would possibly receive the Sharia-recommended death sentence.

Italy's Cultural Minister Dario Franceschini categorized the move to cover up the statues as "incomprehensible." He said that neither he nor Premier Matteo Renzi were told of the decision to cover them, a decision likely made by a lower-ranking official in a bid to avoid offending Rouhani's erotic sensitivities.

Rouhani claims his country had not asked for these measures but appreciated the gesture.

The cover-up consisted of placing wooden panels to shield nude statues at Rome's Capitoline Museums, where Rouhani and Renzi held a joint press conference Monday.

Burqas may have been a better choice, perhaps.

Some Islamic leaders are very sensitized to sexual stimuli and warn women not to go shopping for cucumbers and other phallic-shaped fruits and vegetables, or handle them in the kitchen, lest they create sexual feelings in men other than their husband.

Germany's Merkel to discuss refugee crisis

Berlin--Chancellor Angela Merkel will be discussing the current European migrant crisis with her coalition partners today as fleeing Syrians, Iraqis and a ton of others escape the war and religious persecution brought on by ISIS.

This religious Islamic war has been carried out by a "Jay Vee team" and facilitated due to the lack of resolve and testicular fortitude of the Obama administration. In fact, many would say that if it was not for Obama's distaste for opposing anything Islamic, there would be no ISIS and therefore no war.

The Christian Social Union, a socially-conservative wing of the Chancellor's center-right bloc, is against Germany's opening of borders to migrants, terrorists and refugees stuck in Hungary.
Thomas Oppermann

It is difficult to imagine why they should feel this way, after all, why should the Islamic Gulf states have to take in their own?

Concurrently, the Social Democrats, a center-left wing bloc and third member of Merkel's three-party coalition, urged immediate humanitarian help for those poor souls making their way through Europe in search of government benefits, free housing, food, clothing, and the right to create "no-go zones" in communities of their choice. However, the Social Democrats suggested these refugees be housed far from their own homes as a precautionary security measure due to their government connections.

"No decent person can remain cold and dismissive in the face of such suffering," said Thomas Ludwig Oppermann, a senior Social Democrat.

Oppermann's decency was questioned when he was accused of tipping off Sebastian Edathy this past December before an inquiry into Edathy's purchase of child pornography. Edathy is a former member of parliament and Oppermann denies the allegations.

It's not clear that Oppermann actually tipped off the scumbag Edathy, and I don't want to sound like Harry Reid lying about Mitt Romney, but hey, you never know. It's also very easy to say that you nation should accomodate tons of refugees, but if you aren't personally willing to house them on your own turf, why should your constituency?

Some German government officials are angry at Hungary for suggesting the refugees continue traveling westward ["Let's go, nothing to see here. Move along"] instead of sheltering them and giving them the opportunity to apply for asylum.

The Gulf states are mum. They're not taking in any refugees and continue to finance terrorism in the name of Islam and its pedophile prophet.

It's really sad and conflicting for a conservative mindset. On one hand there are seriously needy refugees with their kids. On the other hand, there are many among them who are not such nice people, as attested to in England where one person wrote how refugees are fornicating and urinating in public and being totally out of hand.

German authorities have predicted that as many as 800,000 people could apply for asylum in Germany by the end of the year. What would you wager that among them will be a significant number of jihadists?

If we in the West take in some of these refugees, it would be wise of us to carefully vet each and every one. In fact, we should have done that with Barack Obama, but "he gives good speech."

The German's opposition Left Party accuses the United States of being responsible for the migrant crisis originating in the Middle East as Obama has indirectly supported terrorist groups in the region.

That's the one thing I believe they got right.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani praised the EU countries helping the refugees and urged others to step up their efforts.

When Rouhani says something is a good thing, you can bet it's good for Iran and isn't good for the West.

On the Greek island of Lesbos, the island where the word "lesbian" got its name, police used batons to beat back a group of 300 crazed migrants who chanted "Athena, Athena," as they attempted to leave the port area.

The migrants (many of whom are anti-Semitic, anti-American, anti-Zionist, anti-Christian Syrians, Iraqis and Afghans) claim that local authorities on the Greek island aren't moving quickly enough for their liking. They want to continue their journey to western Europe where they can finally get free stuff from Western governments and maybe, Inshallah, create a caliphate.
