Blinken evidently supports Hamas: will issue sanctions on IDF unit for alleged human rights violations in Judea and Samaria

Secretary of State Antony Blinken is likely going to impose sanctions on an Israeli Defense Forces battalion for allegedly committing human rights violations in Judea and Samaria [aka: the occupied West Bank], according to a report. Blinken is as Jewish as Biden is Catholic, based on his lack of full-bodied commitment to Israel, and he is willing to believe, or told to believe, anything negative about the Jewish State.

The decision to sanction the Netzah Yehuda Battalion would bar the military unit from receiving any US aid or training. This would, of course, lead to a dangerous situation for the soldiers in the unit, and hurt Israel's defense of their nation.

The worst part of this bonehead idea to sanction Israel is based on incidents they claim happened before the October 7, 2023 blood-lust attack on Israel, Axios reported, citing a US official. Why, it almost seems as if Blinken and the administration was looking to find some dirt on the IDF that they could hold against Israel to justify sanctions and weaken its defense for political reasons.

At a press conference in Italy, Blinken responded to questions about the recommendation and said he had made a decision based on the investigation’s probe.

“You can expect to see them in the days ahead,” Blinken said.

This isn't Blinken's first failure as secretary of state. On December 16, 2014, the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) opposed his nomination to become Obama's deputy secretary of state.

McCain said:
"Mr. Antony 'Tony' Blinken, who is not only unqualified, but in fact in my view, one of the worst selections that this president has chosen. I hope that many of my colleagues will understand that not often do I come to the floor to oppose a nomination from the President of the United States, because I believe that elections have consequences. In this case, this individual has actually been dangerous to America. He has been a functionary and an agent of a U.S. foreign policy that has made the world much less safe today. Let’s just review some of the elements, in particular, and his role in conceptualizing and furthering it.
"It lacks any concept of how to retain our foreign policy goals. This has led to foreign policy failures, including the continued slaughter of the Syrian people by President Bashar Assad … and the betrayal of our key allies, especially in central Europe.”

That Blinken was incompetent was known ten years ago and longer and should serve the country as a warning to what this can lead to, from the unprovoked Russian invasion of Ukraine, the first major European land war in decades, to the clusterfrack in Afghanistan, which can be blamed on the Biden administration and Blinken in particular.

On Feb. 22, 2022, Putin announced he was sending “peacekeepers” into eastern Ukraine. It didn't take long shortly afterward, that he began bombing Ukraine, marking the failure of U.S. State Department diplomacy with Blinken at the wheel.

Blinken's diplomacy has been a total failure as seen in his failure to deter Putin and he looked weak when he moved the State Department personnel out of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv. He said it wasn't a retreat, but it was actually a retreat.

Blinken has always been more concerned with climate blah blah blah than actual foreign affairs.

And now this charlatan is going after Israel for fairytale offenses as he anemically criticizes Hamas and Hezbollah. Thankfully, Americans don't buy his bull and the administration is pressured enough to continue helping our ally, Israel.
