Florida awards Zohran Mamdani as their "Economic Developer of the Year" in Times Sq. campaign

"Hey Zohran, thanks for the jobs" --love, Florida

Communism [the left calls it socialism] is apparently a strong motivator to get people to run as fast as they can away from where it's imposed. New York City, run by comrade Mayor Zohran Mamdani, is one case in point. The beneficiary of New York's exodus in large part is Florida.

At the corner of Broadway and West 43rd Street, basically the heart of the Big Appel, a massive new billboard is sending an infuriating message to New York leadership: "Thanks for the jobs!" [H/T Fox News.]

The United States is now facing a choice between free enterprise or more government control under socialism. Florida is having none of that and has launched a Times Square campaign naming  New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani Florida's "Economic Developer of the Year." Let this once again show the [wo]man in the street, how progressive socialist policies with their all encompassing taxing, are driving businesses and families to conservative-run states such as Florida and Texas.

Florida now has a $1,800,000,000,000.35 record-breaking wealth migration. That's even more money than Elon Musk has earned.

"We wanted to thank him [Mamdani] for the jobs, the companies, the people that they're pushing out of New York — and a lot of them are coming to Florida," Chamber CEO Mark Wilson first told Fox News Digital on Monday.

"America is at a crossroads right now. I think everyone that's paying attention knows that our country was built on freedom and free enterprise and people having the liberty to make their dreams come true," Wilson said. "And there's a push in our country right now to take those liberties away and to attack free enterprise. And that's never worked anywhere, and it won't work in America."

"What Mayor Mamdani is doing is dangerous for the country, right? It's bad for New Yorkers. It's bad for New York. It's very harmful for the country," Wilson continued. "We can choose free enterprise, which is what America was built on, or we can choose to destroy that, which is what the social[ist] policies do… And so, what we're hoping happens from this campaign is that we refocus America on free enterprise."

In addition to putting the blame on Mamdani, the Chamber’s campaign highlights its argument that lower tax rates yield higher total state revenues by incentivizing growth, while blue-state tax hikes trigger a tax-based exodus. According to the Chamber, citing IRS migration data, Florida gains approximately $2.4 million in net taxable income every hour, while New York loses approximately $1.1 million per hour. The Chamber also says Florida gains a net 551 residents daily, compared to New York losing 115 residents daily. Now that's an enormous difference.

According to the Chamber's press release, New York’s state budget is over twice Florida’s, and New York City’s municipal budget alone is more than $8 billion higher than the entire Florida state budget.

"What do people like Mayor Mamdani do? They want to then increase taxes on the people who are left, which just further accelerates people leaving places like New York," Wilson explained, showing that comrades like Mamdani, know nothing about economics and are dangerous to their constituents and the country as a whole.

So just like Barack Obama was the gun industry's best salesman, Mamdani is Florida's best jobs head hunter.

"Florida's lowered taxes over 50 times in the last 15 years. And we have record revenues coming in because people want to be here. And when the economy grows, tax revenues grow. That's how free enterprise works," Wilson said.

Biden's approval rating falling among Democrats faster than Jeffrey Toobin's pants

President Joseph Robinette Biden's (D) approval rating is circling the bowl and is now below 50% in a new Monmouth University poll this week. This is the first time since he took office that the Democratic Party has realized they elected a pumpkin seed for POTUS.

Monmouth University said in the poll released on Wednesday that “Biden currently holds a job rating of 48% approve and 43% disapprove. This is down from his 54% approve and 41% disapprove rating in April." It's difficult to imagine that 48% of the nation still approve of this obviously demented geezer who can't string two sentences together, and by the third sentence, has forgotten the first sentence.

Less than a fifth of Republicans approve of Biden's job performance and this mostly consists of the people of the Lincoln Project, Adam Kissinger, and Jennifer Rubin. In fact, if you approve of Biden's job performance, you ain't Republican.

In April, 83% of Democrats “said they thought the country was moving in the right direction,” What they meant was that the country was moving in the left direction. The New York Times, previously considered to be a newspaper, reported “But in Wednesday’s poll, just 59 percent of Democrats said that. The share of Democrats saying the country was on the wrong track rose by 20 percentage points, to 32 percent.” Evidently they removed their heads from a dark place located down south.

The Times said that one of the top takeaways from the poll was that “Democrats are the ones growing most disillusioned, and fast.”

It's amazing how the Democrats didn't see that Biden is in serious cognitive decline, and forgot that he was never the sharpest knife on the Christmas tree in the first place.

Two major areas of concern pointed out by Monmouth University was runaway inflation due to the Biden administration spending like drunken sailors, and the conditions regarding the middle class.

Insofar as Biden's spending is concerned and the fear that it will lead to spiraling inflation, 47% are very concerned that this will be the outcome and 24% are somewhat concerned. Those who are at least somewhat concerned about prices rising due to the proposed spending blitz include most Republicans (93%), independents (70%), and Democrats (55%).

About 1 in 5 (19%) mentally deficient Americans say middle-class families have benefited from Biden’s policies a lot. These consist mainly of rioters and looters. About one-third (32%) say they've benefitted a little, and 36% say the middle class hasn't benefitted at all, a less positive result since the pumpkin seed took office.

In January, 30% of the public expected the middle class would benefit a lot from his policies, 39% said a little, and 27% said not at all.

CNBC reported this week that Americans’ fear of inflation hit an all-time record high as “the expectation is that the inflation rate will be up to 4% one year from now.”

Larry Summers, who held top economic positions in the Clinton and Obama administrations, told PBS’s “Firing Line with Margaret Hoover” last week that the enormous amount of spending Biden has done risks melting down the economy if it overheats, to which Biden responded: "You're a dog-face pony soldier. I'm not joking."

Gender-blind job application practice yields incredible results

Leaders of Australian Public Service in an initiative to promote gender equality via blind recruitment efforts came up with interesting results when men and women filled out job applications that hid their gender.

The reason for the effort was to push more women into senior position jobs. 

The results revealed that removing the gender from a candidate's application does not, in fact, boost gender equality in hiring. In this study, it boosted a greater number of men being hired over women.

And interestingly enough, the trial also revealed that adding a male name to a candidate's application made them 3.2 percent less likely to get the job 
while adding a female name made it 2.9 percent more likely the candidate would be hired.  

So yes, there is a gender bias in hiring, at least in Australia, but it's the male gender that has the advantage.

Researchers thought that removing gender identifiers from an application  would make it easier for women to land the job in senior positions that have traditionally gone to men.

Wrong.

"We anticipated this would have a positive impact on diversity--making it more likely that female candidates and those from ethnic minorities are selected for the shortlist," Professor Michael Hiscox, a Harvard academic said. "We found the opposite, that de-identifying candidates reduced the likelihood of women being selected for the shortlist."

Hiscox warned governments and companies to consider the strong possibility that gender-blind hiring processes may actually lessen equality in the workplace, [but might enhance quality]. 

"We should hit pause and be very cautious about introducing this as a way of improving diversity, as it can have the opposite effect," he claimed.

But now we must ask ourselves, what does this really say about the hiring desirability of men vs. women for senior positions?

Why did men fare better than the women? 

And finally, is there a way to equalize these differences in the job market?

PA coal mine--1st in Trump's time in office

About 200 coal miners along with business leaders and local politicians donned headgear as they stood around tables covered with "Make America Great Again" tablecloths.

You could feel the excitement in the air and smell the silicate dust, warning miners to be wary of pneumonultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, the inhaling of silicate dust and one of the longest words in the English language. 

I love that word.

The group gathered for the opening of Corsa Coal Corp's Acosta mine. It's the nation's newest mining operation and is expected to generate up to 100 full-time jobs--hundreds of applications already poured in.

While many experts predicted a decline in coal mining, this mine has been praised as an economic lifeline for an area that had been hit hard by the decline in coal-fired power plants. 

President Trump praised it as proof that environmental deregulation will bring back jobs to the coal industry, an industry that has been struggling after former President Obama symbolically kicked it in the cojones.

"When I campaigned for president I said that we would end the war on coal and put our incredible miners--that's what you are, you are incredible--back to work," Trump said in a video played for the crowd in Somerset County.

"The tone of government has completely changed," Corsa CEO George Dethlefsen said. "Coal is no longer a four-letter word."

[Instead of calling it 'coal,' they plan to call it 'anthracite' to ensure that it doesn't remain a four-letter word].

About a dozen protesters repeatedly chanted "Hey hey, ho ho, coal has really got to go." However, it was later learned that one of them had put in a job application for the mine.

Somerset County, best known as the United Airlines Flight 93 crash on September 11, 2001, has an unemployment rate around 6.8 percent, about 2 points higher than the state as a whole.

The mine is projected to produce about 400,000 tons of metallurgical coal annually during its 15 year lifespan and will create 70 to 100 jobs. Of course, the jobs it creates directly will also impact on other jobs, and it's projected that the mine will produce anywhere from 300 to 400 more jobs.

Even Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf (not the, "You Can't Go Home Again" author) a Democrat who sharply criticized Trump's Paris Climate Accord departure, was on hand for the mine opening. (Hey, a vote is a vote.)

Wolf may, in part, be supporting the mine because of the type of coal it will bring: metallurgical coal. It has fewer impurities and burns cleaner than the coal used to fire power plants.

Anal analysts emphasize the new mine isn't necessary a reflection of long-term revival in the coal industry in general, which continues to struggle amid cheaper cleaner energy alternatives such as natural gas and renewables.

However, in spite of the somewhat bleak picture facing the coal industry, it's definitely a step in the right economic direction and hopefully will help Somerset County.

American majority support immigration restrictions & wall

Blocking traffic for Allah

A new poll indicates that a majority of voters support President Trump's executive order that temporarily halts immigration from 7 terrorist-spawning countries and want fewer refugees coming into the U.S. overall.

The poll was conducted for the Harvard Center for American Political Studies by the Harris Poll company. The poll is co-managed by Mark Penn, a Democratic pollster,

It was found that 51 percent of polled individuals want the U.S. to accept fewer than the current 100,000 per year that Obama wanted to import. The Trump administration's plan sets the number at half the Obama amount.

Fifty-three percent also support Mr. Trump's executive order banning all refugee resettlement from Syria and freezing all refugee resettlement for 120 days. 

Forty-seven percent of those polled oppose the new curbs on refugees coming into the U.S. according to Harris, but there was no data released to indicate the percentage of those who strongly support or oppose the curbs.

A regional judge's order (which was probably unconstitutional) halted Trump's refugee resettlement freeze but did not affect the halving of total refugee resettlement numbers. This action led to a mad dash into the U.S. from five of the seven terrorist-spawning countries. 

Thanks to this liberal judge, who will not be personally affected by his poor decision, 60.1 percent of refugees arriving since his ruling are from Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Syria and Sudan. Of the Syrian refugees, 99.6 percent are Muslims. Of the others, 55 percent are Muslims. 

This shows that the 45 percent non-Muslims who rushed here for resettlement do not think of this as a Muslim ban. 

The 500,000 refugees arriving in the U.S. since 2009 will cost the American taxpayers $4.1 billion for just this year alone. Breitbart News previously reported that "$4.1 billion can buy 10,677 new homes for $384,000 each, which is the average price of a new home sold in the United States in December 2016. Or it could buy 170,124 new autos for $24,100 each, which is the manufacturer's suggested retail price for a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu."

Sadly, most of the refugees are only capable of low-skilled employment and their presence here will take away thousands of jobs while bringing few useful skills.

A complete shutdown of all refugee resettlement would save us billions. They will continue costing us more in welfare and aid than they generate in taxes, according to uncomfortable facts, and cost us no less than $3 billion every year, not including the costs added on by the U.S. criminal justice system when they commit crimes and plot terror attacks.

The Trump refugee resettlement freeze has strong and broad support. A Feb. 8 Morning Consult poll found 55 percent of voters overall, supported the president's executive order. Of those, 82 percent of Republicans support it.

Another poll (McLaughlin & Associates) found 57 percent support a halt in order to implement better screening procedures.

Rasmussen Reports found 52 percent of voters favored a freeze on all refugee resettlement until the government can better screen out terrorists. Of this polling population, 57 percent were young voters.

The next big issue after terrorism will be which bathroom a person will be able to use depending upon the existence or absence of mental issues.

President holds presser at White House, big league

President Trump held a presser at the White House and said that he has "inherited a mess, a mess," adding that jobs are leaving the country, "going to Mexica and other places," but assures the American people that he will take care of it.

As usual, he also attacked the media calling them "dishonest," but hopes that the relationship will change.

He said that he also inherited ISIS and it has "spread like cancer," and that it was another mess. He vows to rebuild the military and hopes we will never have to use it, but "our country will never have had the military, like the military we will have." He explained that the military equipment is old and "depleted." 

Mr. Trump said that he is keeping his campaign promises to the American people even though some appear to be surprised. 

He then spoke again about how he received 306 electoral votes and how it was the biggest electoral college win since Ronald Reagan.

He said that he will be in Melbourne, Florida on Saturday and "I heard the crowds will be massive, massive."

Regulations will be dealt with, he said. As he vowed, when any new regulation is put in place, two old regulations will be eliminated.

Overall, Mr. Trump trumpeted his accomplishments including law enforcement, jobs and the problems with illicit drugs. He also discussed how he is in the process of building the promised wall and how it's going to be "a great wall," and that the prices will come down. It will not be a "nonexistent" wall, or a wall that is "a joke."

He pointed out how the court system is not making it easy for his administration to keep the country safe against Islamic terrorism. He alluded to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and how their rulings have been overturned "in record numbers."

He plans to "drain the swamp" by imposing the 5-year lobbying ban and eliminate foreign lobbyists altogether.

He will eliminate the "bleeding of jobs away from out country" and said that jobs have already started to surge. Ford and Chrysler will be investing millions of dollars in the country.

In other words, nothing new was discussed except for the fact that he will be issuing a new executive order regarding the immigration ban.

Then the press questioned the president.

Regarding Michael Flynn, Trump said he asked for his resignation and he respectfully gave it. He called the reporting about it was "fake news."

All jihadists want is love, a job and to kill us

Poor, misunderstood and unloved

Hamburg, Germany -- He needed a job, but they didn't want to give him a job, so he snapped.

He was poor, which was why he did it in the first place. If we had just given him a job, it would have never happened. 

He needed love. A few hugs at the right time and a kind smile--that would have reassured him, it would have told him that he counts for something. But we didn't show him love, and that's why he did it.

A job, some money and some love. That's all liberals would say that it would have taken for 19-year-old Afghan from storming into the Versohnungskirche [Church of Reconciliation] in Hamburg. He threw chairs and benches, kicked down the Bible stand, threw hymn books on the floor, and splintered glass everywhere.

It was open community everning, around 7:20 p.m. and those in the church were afraid to stop the young, misunderstood lad. The fact that he was dressed in swirling Islamic garb and may have had a suicide vest underneath, may have also contributed to the reluctance to intervene.

Due to the fact that the jihadist did not speak as he went about destroying Christian symbols, and had no Salafist connections, the State Protection Department's criminal prosecution agency made the brilliant dhimmie assumption that there was no "Islamist" motive involved with the Islamic youth.

Peter, an eyewitness to the attack, sent PI the photo of the jihadist attacker as he did his damage. Once the attacker was done, Peter asked the attacker in front of the congregation why he had done it, to which came the screaming response: "Because I am a Muslim!"

Religious Job Openings in Saudi Arabia

Just when it seems like the world job markets are drying up, Saudi Arabia announces that they have 8 "wet work" positions available. These wonderful opportunities became necessary after more sharia judges have been put on the government payroll and were posted by the Saudi civil service ministry.

I can see the public advertisement now:

"Wanted: A go-getter-beheader and amputation technician. No experience necessary. Must have own tools; we pay sharpening expense.

"This is a " hands on, hands off " position for the right person. Work directly with the public in the public square. Have your own cleanup crew.

"If you enjoy doing Allah's work and are comfortable being the center of attention, this is the job for you.

" Our highly skilled mosqueteers will train you to perform minor amputations (e.g., removal of fingers that found their way to the proverbial cookie jar), more serious amputations (e.g., hand removal for stealing from other Muslims), and Islam's signature beheadings (e.g., for accidentally dropping a Qur'an, blogging or tweeting negatively about the Prophet, peace be upon Him).

"Ask about our "Stoning" positions.

"Salary commensurate with bloodlust."

The job application form refers to the position as "religious functionaries." The pay sucks, but it's good for your resume if you're into that kind of "religious"  activity. A beheading can be earned for murder, apostasy (leaving Islam--kind of sounds like the Mafia), armed  robbery and drug trafficking.

Last year there were 88 beheadings, according to Human Rights Watch. So far this year there have been 85 beheadings and it looks like they're going for the record. 

It's disgusting. It's Sharia, and It's Islam.

Lack of Jobs the Reason ISIS Beheads Folks

War strategist and State Department spokes-cretin Marie Harf has a way to defeat the Islamic State jihadis claiming, "We cannot kill our way out of this war," we need to give Islamic State jihadis a shot at a good job.

Seriously, she said that on MSNBC to Chris "Tingles" Matthews, the guy who goes gaga over Obama, and even he found it difficult to digest. But the truth is, both sides  of the aisle have tried to propagate the bull crap that poverty causes people to become terrorists and paying off Islamic countries will rid the world of terrorism and the radical religious belief that Islam has held dear for 1400 years.

Like it did with the 911 hijackers? Like bin Laden, the hijackers all came from wealthy families and had better educations than most of their countrymen. It wasn't money or jobs.

We tried pumping money into Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan, and see how well that turned out for us. It's about the religion, stupid. These "folks" are fighting for Allah, for their religious beliefs, and not because they want a job parking cars instead of blowing them up.

What other way is there to win a war than to "kill our way out of it?" We did it in WW2 when the Japanese realized our A-Bombs would kill them all. In fact, the A-Bomb saved more lives than it killed because it ended a prolonged and bloody war.

Jihadists aren't saying to themselves, "Gee, if only I had a job, I wouldn't be hacking this Christian's head  off and I could go to Disneyland with my wives and our fifteen children."

It's insulting to anyone who has even a small inkling of what motivates the Islamic State. Marie Harf, like Jonathan Gruber, thinks the American voters are stupid. They happen to be talking about their own party because conservatives haven't bought into their propaganda since Day 1.

Matthews told Harf (rhymes with barf) "if I were ISIS, I wouldn't be afraid right now--nothing we do right now seems to be directed at stopping this," to which the woman who gives blonds a bad name responded: "I think there are a few stages here. Right now what we're doing is trying to take their leaders and their fighters and their fighters off the battlefield in Iraq and in Syria, that's really where they flourish. We're killing a lot of them and we're going to keep killing more of them, so are the Egyptians, so are the Jordanians they're in this fight with us. But we cannot win this war by killing them; we cannot kill our way out of this war. We need, in the longer term, medium and longer term, to go after the root causes that leads people to join these groups, whether it's lack of opportunity for jobs . . . "

ISIS Job Lines

Even Chrissy knew she was trying to blow smoke up his nether regions. He cut her off and said, "we're not going to be able to stop that in our lifetime, or fifty lifetimes. There's always going to be poor people, there's always going to be poor Muslims, and as long as there are poor Muslims, the trumpet's blowing, they'll join. We can't stop that, can we?"

Harf's response was sadly laughable. "We can work with countries around the world to help improve their governance, we can hep them build their economies, so they can have job opportunities for these people. You're right, there is no easy solution in the long-term to preventing and combating violent extremism, bit if we can help countries work at the root causes of this, what makes these 17-year-old kids pick up an AK-47, instead of trying to start a business?" And so on and so forth, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Marie Harf is another example of people who are either ignorant of Islam or willfully deceiving the American public. 

But the public is not as gullible as it once was. According to a recent CNN poll,

most Americans believe Obama is handling the Islamic State as well as he handles a three-point shot from half court at the buzzer. 

Fifty-seven percent disapprove of his handling the ISIS threat, which is a significant decline since late September when it was 49%.

When Obama Is Gone He Will Do What?

When President Obama is fired from his job and we conservatives hopes this wish becomes fact, we may wonder what he will do for work.  Obviously, under Romney and Ryan, there should be more job opportunities out there for Obama to explore, but just what do you think will garner his interest?

I believe Obama will look for work in the entertainment industry.  After all, we didn't really elect a politician, we elected a celebrity; a guy who can hang with other celebrities like George Clooney and Roseanne Barr.  He loves to appear on entertainment TV shows and answer tough questions like, "Mr. President, what is you favorite color?" or "If you had to choose one super power, what would that power be?"  These are not softball questions, these are butterball questions, but he answered them with all the seriousness of an entertainer, and the liberal crowd just ate it up, (sort of like how Chris Matthews would like to eat Obama up as the tingles shoot up his leg).

My guess as to what type of job Obama would enjoy doing in the aftermath of the calamity known as his term in office, would be a judge on America's Got Talent, but Not More Talent Than Any Other Nation With Talent.  The judges would score from zero to ten and all Obama would hand out to Americans would be fives or less.  After all, who knows better than an American President just how average America is than a guy named Hussein Obama?

Monday Flushings

The economy continues to suck but Obama tells us he simply needs four more years to solve the problem. I have difficulty believing that promise since our President tends to keep his word like a whore keeps her virginity. After more than three years in office, he continues to blame GW for the continuing woes of the nation. 


 Ed Klein, using the words of Bill Clinton, called Obama "The Amateur," and it became the title of his new book.  I can't help believing that Klein is correct in his and Clinton's assessment of this poseur; a man whose words convince you of one thing, while his actions convince you of another. 


The jobless rate has stopped falling and has clicked up again, but it's even worse than the Obama-esque figures would have us believe.  So many people have stopped looking for work, so many are working at jobs well below their professional capabilities, and regulations have chased away large companies. So while the jobless rate may read 8.2%, the real number may be closer to 14% plus. I find it impossible to believe that GW remains responsible for this failure to abide by another campaign promise. Yet Obama plays the blame game and points an accusatory finger at Congress and the past administration.  Has he ever taken blame for even one failure?


 With the Wisconsin recall election tomorrow, and the Presidential election in November, it's time for Obama and his Chicago cronies to hit the panic button.

Your Taxes at Work

What's the meaning behind the protest in the Occupy Wall Street protest? Some say it's Tea Party envy and I don't disagree, but I think it's even more than that. I believe it's a way a group of people try to capture some sort of meaning in their sorry lives. Their message is incoherent, for the most part, and it's a "You, my government, owe me a job."  "I hate you, you damn rich banks."  "I hate the rich on Wall Street who have all the money, and I have nothing but loans from them, and it's unfair." 

I believe that, at a deeper level, these protestors are a bunch of unwashed hippy wannabees who are trying to recapture a primal Woodstock moment that their parents experienced. These libiots want to make history, and they even say that in their mindless chanting. They say that "this is what democracy looks like," but if they actually get what they're asking for, democracy will go down the tubes and George Soros will do the flushing of the toilet.

 Not An Irish Spring

Many of these people are socialists, and they have the right to be lazy and stupid socialists. But some of these protestors are undoubtedly communists, hate America, and love idiots like Michael Moore, a guy who made all his money as a capitalist denouncing capitalism. And the protestors don't even get it. Some of them don't get it so much, they don't even know that they actually are communists and socialists. They just want the wealthy to share their money with them. But even before that message went out, the mob assembled without a definition of what the heck they were protesting about in the first place. Usually protests work the opposite way around in America--people are upset about the way things are running, and the last straw is the protest--here is was the protest, then the discussion of why they were protesting. Sounds very insinsoros to me.

The media compares these people to the tea party but the major differences that I see between the two groups is the tea party people actually shower, have jobs, and know what it is they're upset about. When the tea party protests, nobody gets arrested, there is no violence, no traces of anti-Semitism, nor anti-America, just a real concern over the way the government is getting involved in things they aren't qualified to get involved with, and generally tend to screw up when they do.


Obama and some unions are supporting these protestors. It's just another way our president can divide us and hopefully win next year. The unions, with their Hoffaesque mentality support the unwashed because they will support anyone who goes against the managers of wealth, in spite of the fact that the union leaders possess so much of it themselves. 


So next time you're in the Wall Street area and see a mob, as opposed to a group of protestors, hold your head high as you hold your nose, and keep walking on your way to work.

Obama: Incompetent or Malevolent?

If Barack Obama is incompetent, then our nation is safe and it all ends well with the next election. If he is malevolent, then everything is going according to plan and the tanking economy is just his way of saying, "Hey folks, socialism can work for those of you who don't wanta work." (Don't you love his folksy word endings and pronounciations like, hafta, doin', feelin' and the rest of his garbage, when he's trying to be like you and me?)


One reason to think he might be malevolent is AttackWatch.com, a website created to keep checks on us folk, 'cause he hasta if he wantsta win. The video to the right is a parody of this infamous website. Imagine, the President of the United States creating a "Big Brother is Watching You" website to "fight the smears and attacks" and yes, the freedom of speech this country has always enjoyed. One might suggest that to create AttackWatch, Obama is running scared, or paranoid. But if Obama is malevolent, then, as Stella Paul says in her American Thinker article as cited by David Solway in FrontPage Magazine (click on the link below for full text): "the destruction that Obama wrought may ultimately dwarf the wreckage of 9/11." 


Americans, as I have often said, may be extremely tolerant, easy, and soft, but we're not stupid by a long shot. Many of us have buyer's remorse with the Obama administration. Those Americans who are willing to look beyond the lamestream media are feeling angst over Solyndra and Lightsquared. 

Many of us now know that Obama had his fingers in the cookie jar when he  invested $90 thousand in the Lightsquared, back when it was known as SkyTerra in 2005. He was put into the investment by a UBS broker at the request of George Haywood, another major investor in SkyTerra and a major campaign donor to the annointed one. When the Gray Lady (NYT) reported the investment in 2007, Obama claimed ignorance about the stock and said he lost money when he sold it. Today, Obama and Haywood are buddies as witnessed by the fact that he and his lovely wife were on the guest list for the India State Dinner. Okay, maybe this isn't a sign of malevolence, but it certainly is a sign of basic scumbaggery.


So let's look at the fact that his handling of the USA in world affairs has made us a potential source of global warming due to the number of American flags being burned throughout the world--particularly the Islamic world. As our president, he has discarded the US Constitution and had the audacity to call it an imperfect document. He has polarized this nation like no other president before him. Is it wrong to say he is in way over his head as the leader of the free world? That his policies have plunged us into a quagmire of problems from unemployment to a severe fiscal emergency? 


But if he isn't incompetent, then his socialist-Marxist philosophy is working itself out with a nation of unemployed and failed businesses that will need a nanny state to step in and provide sustenance. Of course, this would not come easy if it ever came to that point--it would come with destruction, death, and incredible suffering because it would take a revolution this country has never experienced before. It would make the Civil War look like a game of Cops and Robbers. (The Conservatives the cops, the Liberals the robbers--you know, something resembling real life.)


As Solway says in his article, the truth of who Obama is probably lies somewhere in between the two premises of malevolent and incompetence. His philosophy is clearly socialist , just like Mommy and Daddy. But his competence is clearly less than what a president's competence should be to run a nation. 


In a way, I see Obama as an idiot savant--a man who speaks like a god, but says nothing of substance. He is a pursuasive empty suit whose machinations may be sinister, but who has little substance beyond his concrete understanding of the philosophy he espouses. He attracts the liberal mind because one need only appeal to the emotions to do so. It isn't "What I can do," but "What I intended to do" that counts for liberals. Of course being anti-Semitic doesn't hurt you if you're a liberal--it makes great cocktail talk at Obama fundraisers.


So you decide--is Obama incompetent, malevolent, or both.

MoreOn the 9-11 Speech--Just My Opinion

I have received several emails from my liberal friends who think Obama's job speech was a great speech. I don't fully disagree with that--I agree that it was a speech; because it sure as hell wasn't a plan like he claimed it would be just before going to Martha's Exclusive Vineyard for the Rich and Socialist. The speech mentioned that we had to "pass this job plan" fully 18 times. Why doesn't he just whine instead of beg?

Unemployment benefits for 2 years? That should take away all incentives to find a job and create a nation of dependent robots. Employers will get $6 thousand to hire someone who has been out of work at least 6 months--that should encourage people to stay out of work for a while, say like 6 months or so. Billions for teachers, billions for schools, no surprises. A slam dunk speech? I don't think so.

When asked about Obama's speech, Nancy Pelosi compared it to hitting a home run, bowling 10 strikes, running a touchdown, a hole in one, but she neglected to mention synchronized swimming, according to Bob Beckel, from Fox's "The Five," beach volleyball, darts, and pole vaulting. (Speaking of poles, Obama's pole wouldn't get him over a wad of gum.

I don't agree with Pelosi's--what I saw was the same old, same old; the yadda yadda of political bs, perpetrated on us by the very person whose aspirations is to run the earth, divide the wealth by giving our hard earned money to the unemployed, the never employed welfare recipients, and do it by taxing us until there will be a tax on our taxed money. Of course, in a way, there already is, when you look at the interest tax--we work, we earn money, we invest it, and anything we make on it gets taxed again. Liberal idea, eh.

The worst thing about this speech was how Obama presented it as all or nothing. Republicans had no voice, as far as Obama, the ruler, is concerned.The fact is, everything he has tried in the past, has failed to reap positive results. Keynsian economics may work on paper, but it doesn't work in the real world. Obama still can't let it go, still can't admit that his stimulating the economy only makes his friends rich, but it doesn't create jobs.

Obama's 9-11 Speech

Obama spoke tonight and the world has finally let out its collective breath as the president has come up with a speech to solve the jobs problem in this country. Except he didn't.

I'm raising your taxes so who's laughing now

He has said that Americans are tired of waiting for change to come, but nothing he said, wiill "jolt" the stalled economy as he said his "plan" will do. There is no sense of urgency by this president. There is no clear plan, and what he offered has no room for discussion--"take it or leave it," is the attitude.  He feels the jobs plan he proposes should be passed right away. But still, there's no hurry.

Obama apologists still say the same things about the need for bipartisanship, but that only means we need to agree with his plan although it goes against conservative philosophy. 

This was no plan; it was a political speech. His ideas are proven ideas--they are proven not to work. More stimulus? Longer unemployment--even his economic advisor agrees the longer you keep people on unemployment the more likely it is they will not find work. 

And why is he holding back on the public with his "plan"? Because he obviously has no plan. He gives great speeches, and, if you're a liberal, he gives you hope. Hope seems to be the one thing that got him elected, and the one thing that might just keep him in office in 2012 if there are enough gullible liberals who continue to believe his speeches. But it's difficult to really believe that even the average liberal still believes him--he lacks substance. Now we are supposed to wait longer for his deficit plan? What is the rationale for that?


Okay, Obama's idea for tax cuts for middle class households is not a bad thing, but it's like taking an aspirin for leprosy. The tax code needs to be revamped and needs to be competetive with the rest of the world. We need to get rid of those thousands of regulations that choke big business and drive them out of the country. And what about Boeing and the right to work states? Why is he killing off this great American company? Gibson Guitars too--it's political and it stinks. This president stinks and I am glad to be able to live in a country that is free to say that--at least for now.
