Democrat Sends ‘Condolences’ To Hasan Piker After Florida Primary Defeat

WASHINGTON, D.C. Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz celebrated defeating Democratic Socialists of America-backed challenger Oliver Larkin by doing something rarely seen in modern Democratic politics: winning an election and then immediately sending his condolences to Hasan Piker.

Moskowitz offered his “condolences” to the far-left, anti-America, anti-Zionist streamer who had enthusiastically backed Moskowitz’s execrable opponent, apparently demonstrating that there are still Democrats who would prefer socialism remain a theoretical concept that works beautifully in countries that somehow still have capitalism to pay for it.

Larkin lost to the more moderate Moskowitz in Florida’s 25th Congressional District, proving that at least some Democratic voters remain reluctant to hand the controls of the American economy to people whose primary qualification is having memorized the word “oppressor.”

The heavily redrawn swing district is expected to be one of roughly two dozen House races that could determine whether Republicans retain their razor-thin majority in the midterm elections.

Naturally, Moskowitz knew exactly whom to thank for his victory.

"My condolences to @hasanthehun," Moskowitz wrote on X with the kind of graduate-level snark normally reserved for academic journals and congressional group chats.

Piker, apparently unable to witness a congressional election without immediately locating Israel somewhere inside it, responded:

"its pretty wild that his first thought was a prominent critic of israel, before even thanking his constituents lmao. really worried about his genocidal emotional support apartheid state."

Piker refused to capitalize Israel, apparently saving his capital letters for more important subjects, such as Islam.

Moskowitz eventually got around to thanking his constituents the following day, along with his wife, children and late father.

"I want to thank the voters of District 25 for continuing to have the faith in me to deliver results for Florida," he wrote. "I want to thank my wife and kids who I have spent a lot of time away from. My dad died of cancer 4 years ago. He would have enjoyed all of this. I miss him. Onward!"

So, to recap: Moskowitz won an election, thanked his voters and family, remembered his deceased father, and then apparently committed the unforgivable political sin of noticing Hasan Piker.

Moskowitz later argued that Democrats should stop treating Piker like the embarrassing relative who arrives at Thanksgiving, insults the host, declares the family business exploitative, and then gets quietly ushered into the garage whenever respectable guests show up.

"Democrats shouldn’t play hide the Piker now," Moskowitz said after his victory, according to Politico Playbook. "For all those people who thought it was a great idea to campaign with him, as Jay-Z once said, ‘Bring ’em out, bring ’em out.’ They shouldn’t be hiding him now."

Piker was not exactly thrilled by the invitation to step into the electoral spotlight.

"I’m genuinely concerned for his mental well-being."

In reality, Piker is not concerned about anyone's mental well-being. He's only concerned with hating on the American people.

"I think he should stop posting on the internet and focus on defeating the Republican in his newly redistricted congressional seat," Piker added.

Apparently, according to Piker, Moskowitz's mental health became endangered somewhere between winning an election and mentioning the guy who campaigned against him.

Moskowitz then called DSA members "anti-American at their core."

This presumably did wonders for the atmosphere at Piker's online headquarters, where the American flag presumably remains classified as hostile propaganda.

Piker has become something of a political flashpoint for Democrats, who are now wrestling with a fascinating strategic dilemma: Should they appeal to ordinary Americans, or should they continue taking electoral advice from a millionaire internet celebrity whose political worldview sometimes sounds like it was assembled from the comment section of a college freshman's TikTok video?

Piker has campaigned with several far-left candidates, including Francesca Hong, who lost her gubernatorial primary in Wisconsin, and Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed.

Sen. Bernie Sanders has argued that Democrats should include people like Piker because the streamer reaches a large audience. Democratic strategist James Carville, meanwhile, has expressed considerably less enthusiasm about turning the Democratic Party into a group project with Piker.

This leaves Democrats facing the sort of strategic question that political consultants usually charge six figures to avoid answering: Is Hasan Piker an electoral asset, or is he what happens when a campaign accidentally gives the microphone to the internet?

Commentator Kaivan Shroff noted that Piker probably would have been celebrating loudly had Larkin won.

"One of the asymmetries in Democratic politics right now is that when a DSA candidate wins, it is immediately treated as evidence of some enormous ideological realignment in the party," Shroff said. "When a more moderate Democrat wins, there is usually much less hype and almost no corresponding narrative.

"We saw that with David Crowley beating Francesca Hong in Wisconsin, and now Moskowitz has beaten a DSA-backed challenger in Florida," Shroff continued. "Imagine the coverage if the result had gone the other way, and imagine the victory lap Hasan Piker and the online left would be taking right now.

"I actually think there is value in Moskowitz picking this fight," he added. "Piker backed his opponent and made himself part of the race. By going after him publicly, Moskowitz is forcing people to tell the other side of this story, and, frankly, here we are talking about it because he did."

Indeed, Piker's involvement in Democratic politics has produced an electoral strategy that appears to have been designed by someone who believes America is simultaneously an oppressive empire and the most important audience on Earth.

After El-Sayed won his Michigan primary, Piker rejected calls for the candidate to repair relationships with skeptical Democrats ahead of the general election against Republican Mike Rogers.

"Like everyone being like, Abdul has a f--- ton of work to do mending bridges. Here's the f---ing take nuke for you, OK? You are all unbelievably Islamophobic pieces of s---, OK?" Piker said.

Which is certainly one approach to coalition building.

Nothing says “let's expand the Democratic coalition” quite like immediately informing large portions of the existing coalition that they are human garbage.

And now Piker has another Democratic primary loss to contemplate, along with the horrifying possibility that a Democratic congressman might actually want voters to know who his political allies are.

Moskowitz has apparently decided that if Hasan Piker wants to help Democrats win elections, Democrats should at least have the courtesy to introduce him to the voters.

"Everyone, this is Hasan. He thinks America is terrible, Israel is worse, capitalism is evil, and somehow we're supposed to believe he's helping us win Florida."

The condolences, it seems, were entirely appropriate.

In the strange new world of Democratic politics, apparently the most controversial thing a congressman can do is win an election, thank his constituents, remember his father, and then point out who was rooting for the other guy.

Florida awards Zohran Mamdani as their "Economic Developer of the Year" in Times Sq. campaign

"Hey Zohran, thanks for the jobs" --love, Florida

Communism [the left calls it socialism] is apparently a strong motivator to get people to run as fast as they can away from where it's imposed. New York City, run by comrade Mayor Zohran Mamdani, is one case in point. The beneficiary of New York's exodus in large part is Florida.

At the corner of Broadway and West 43rd Street, basically the heart of the Big Appel, a massive new billboard is sending an infuriating message to New York leadership: "Thanks for the jobs!" [H/T Fox News.]

The United States is now facing a choice between free enterprise or more government control under socialism. Florida is having none of that and has launched a Times Square campaign naming  New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani Florida's "Economic Developer of the Year." Let this once again show the [wo]man in the street, how progressive socialist policies with their all encompassing taxing, are driving businesses and families to conservative-run states such as Florida and Texas.

Florida now has a $1,800,000,000,000.35 record-breaking wealth migration. That's even more money than Elon Musk has earned.

"We wanted to thank him [Mamdani] for the jobs, the companies, the people that they're pushing out of New York — and a lot of them are coming to Florida," Chamber CEO Mark Wilson first told Fox News Digital on Monday.

"America is at a crossroads right now. I think everyone that's paying attention knows that our country was built on freedom and free enterprise and people having the liberty to make their dreams come true," Wilson said. "And there's a push in our country right now to take those liberties away and to attack free enterprise. And that's never worked anywhere, and it won't work in America."

"What Mayor Mamdani is doing is dangerous for the country, right? It's bad for New Yorkers. It's bad for New York. It's very harmful for the country," Wilson continued. "We can choose free enterprise, which is what America was built on, or we can choose to destroy that, which is what the social[ist] policies do… And so, what we're hoping happens from this campaign is that we refocus America on free enterprise."

In addition to putting the blame on Mamdani, the Chamber’s campaign highlights its argument that lower tax rates yield higher total state revenues by incentivizing growth, while blue-state tax hikes trigger a tax-based exodus. According to the Chamber, citing IRS migration data, Florida gains approximately $2.4 million in net taxable income every hour, while New York loses approximately $1.1 million per hour. The Chamber also says Florida gains a net 551 residents daily, compared to New York losing 115 residents daily. Now that's an enormous difference.

"Heading South" [AI generated]

According to the Chamber's press release, New York’s state budget is over twice Florida’s, and New York City’s municipal budget alone is more than $8 billion higher than the entire Florida state budget.

"What do people like Mayor Mamdani do? They want to then increase taxes on the people who are left, which just further accelerates people leaving places like New York," Wilson explained, showing that comrades like Mamdani, know nothing about economics and are dangerous to their constituents and the country as a whole.

So just like Barack Obama was the gun industry's best salesman, Mamdani is Florida's best jobs head hunter.

"Florida's lowered taxes over 50 times in the last 15 years. And we have record revenues coming in because people want to be here. And when the economy grows, tax revenues grow. That's how free enterprise works," Wilson said.

ICE Drops ‘Uncontrolled’ Fraud Bombshell Involving Thousands of Foreign Students, ‘Phantom Employees’

Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons just dropped a massive reality check on yet another immigration program that's been running wild. Homeland Security Investigations officers have uncovered potentially thousands of fraudulent foreign workers [aka illegal aliens]. Acting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Todd Lyons announced that federal investigators have uncovered more than 10,000 foreign students connected to "suspect employers" as part of another potentially massive fraud scheme, this time involving the federal STEM Optional Practical Training (OPT) extension program.  

At a news conference Tuesday, Lyons said the cases uncovered thus far are "just the tip of the iceberg."

OPT is a U.S. immigration program that lets international students on F-1 visas work temporarily in the country in jobs related to their field of study. Lyons said that when the program was first created under the Bush administration and expanded under the Obama administration, the Department of Homeland Security expected "only a few thousand foreign students would receive training approval before returning home."

"Instead," Lyons said, that OPT "ballooned into an uncontrolled guest worker pipeline with hundreds of thousands of foreign students working in the United States." He added that "as the program size exploded, so has the fraud."

"Today, we are announcing we have identified over 10,000 foreign students who claim to be working for highly suspect employers, and that’s just among the top 25 OPT employers. This is only the tip of the iceberg," Lyons said. "We’ve dramatically expanded our oversight of OPT and can report that we found fraud nationwide."

According to Lyons, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) officers have visited "problematic OPT worksite employers" in Virginia, Texas, Georgia, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina and Florida. He said that many of the suspicious employers include nongovernmental organizations [NGOs].

According to Lyons, investigators have "discovered empty buildings and locked doors at addresses where hundreds of foreign students are allegedly employed." Investigators have also found hundreds of foreign students listed as working out of residential addresses. But no Learing Centers were discovered in the operation.

"In many places," he continued, "multiple OPT employers claim to operate from the same address, but none actually lease the facility."

"When someone does open the door, their statements are inconsistent, or they claim no knowledge of the business," said Lyons. It's akin to the guy stopped by cops who, when searched say, "These are not my pants."

The ICE director also said investigators uncovered what he referred to as "phantom employees," who he said are foreign students who obtained work authorization through OPT but never actually showed up for work at the sites they claimed to work out of.

"This is not accidental," Lyons concluded. "This is deliberate, coordinated and criminal."

He added that "this fraud is not victimless," calling it a "blatant attack on the goodwill of the American people."

Vice President JD Vance, who President Donald Trump appointed "fraud czar," celebrated the discovery in an X post as "another great win for our fraud task force."

Vance wrote that the administration "will not tolerate foreign nationals abusing our visa system at the expense of the American people."

BREAKING: America's Mayor, Rudy Giuliani Hospitalized in Critical Condition

Prayers up for Rudy Giuliani.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is in critical condition at a Florida hospital, his spokesman said Sunday evening. President Donald Trump was quick to wish his friend and longtime ally well.

The spokesman, Ted Goodman, said that the former mayor and staunch ally of the president “remains in critical but stable condition.”

“Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition,” the statement said. “Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he’s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak. We do ask that you join us in prayer for America’s Mayor Rudy Giuliani.”

A patient in “critical but stable condition” means that their condition is life-threatening but has vital signs within normal limits.

It is unclear what sent Mr. Giuliani, 81, to the hospital.

President Trump issued a statement via Truth Social immediately upon learning that his friend and longtime ally was in the hospital, saying, “Our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a True Warrior, and the Best Mayor in the History of New York City, BY FAR, has been hospitalized, and is in critical condition. What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the Radical Left Lunatics, Democrats ALL — AND HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING! They cheated on the Elections, fabricated hundreds of stories, did anything possible to destroy our Nation, and now, look at Rudy. So sad!”Giuliani, nicknamed “America’s Mayor” in the aftermath of the 9/11 terror attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center, was hospitalized recently following a car accident but had reportedly recovered.

Americans Continue Voting With Their Feet, Apparently Preferring Not To Be Taxed Into Oblivion

New Census data reveals a massive migration shift as high-tax states lose residents to the booming Southeast and Sun Belt. Experts are baffled why anyone would leave paradise for lower taxes and functioning streets. Hmmm?

Americans appear to be voting with their feet as the country’s most iconic cities continue to see declining populations or struggle to regain their pre-pandemic footing, shocking no one with two brain cells to rub together.

On the East Coast, New York City is facing a renewed exodus. 

According to a Citizens Budget Commission study released earlier this month, the Big Apple lost more residents than it gained last year. The report found that New York City lost approximately 114,000 more domestic residents to other U.S. cities than it gained in 2025, reversing two years of marginal growth.

The decline has become so pronounced that even New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has sounded the alarm. Pleading in March for "high net worth" individuals to return, Hochul noted the erosion of the Empire State’s tax base is threatening "the generous social programs that we want to have in our state."

A nervous Hochul admitted that New York is "in competition with other states who have less of a tax burden," specifically citing "Wall Street businesses looking at Texas" as a primary concern.Further north, Boston is struggling to retain its next generation of workers. 

In Massachusetts, a 2026 Young Residents Survey from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Foundation, released in April, revealed that 26 percent of residents aged 20 to 30 plan to leave the area within the next five years.

Of those planning to move, nearly half are looking to exit the state entirely, with a majority eyeing the Southeast and Southwest. High housing costs remain the primary driver for those planning to leave, followed closely by the irresistible urge not to fund endless progressive experiments.

The trend is part of a larger drain on the Commonwealth. 

An analysis by the Pioneer Institute shows Massachusetts has suffered a net loss of approximately 182,000 residents due to domestic out-migration over the last five years. At this rate the state bird will soon be the U-Haul.The West Coast is seeing similar patterns, particularly in Los Angeles County. The latest U.S. Census data released in March 2026 shows that between July 1, 2024, and July 1, 2025, 53,421 residents left the county. The largest numeric decline of any county in the nation. Since 2020, Los Angeles County’s population has shrunk from roughly 10 million to 9.7 million, proving once again that even the weather cannot overcome terrible governance.

In San Francisco, the population has failed to recover from its pandemic-era low. Despite a localized boom in the artificial intelligence sector, newly released Census estimates show the city’s total population remains well below 2020 levels. AI may be the future, but apparently it still cannot convince people to live around  the homeless and human feces, drugs and violence.

While the coastlines struggle, the Southeast is booming like it just discovered low taxes and personal responsibility. The Census Bureau reported in March that many of the fastest-growing counties in the country are now concentrated in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

South Carolina has officially claimed the title of the fastest-growing state in the nation. Between July 2024 and July 2025, the Palmetto State’s population surged by 1.5 percent, fueled by a net influx of 66,622 domestic migrants who probably just wanted grocery stores without bulletproof glass.

In terms of "income migration," Florida remains the undisputed king. The Florida Chamber of Commerce reports that the Sunshine State leads the nation with a net income migration of nearly 36.1 billion dollars annually. Turns out people enjoy keeping more of their own money rather than giving it to, say, Somalia businesses.

A new study by the National Taxpayers Union Foundation released on April 7, 2026, confirmed that taxpayers are fleeing high-tax environments for more fiscally friendly states. While Texas and Florida remain the top targets, states like North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee are also seeing record gains. Notably, the NTUF "Migration in Minutes" metric found that Texas surpassed Florida in 2022 as the state gaining a new taxpayer most frequently. One every 4 minutes and 40 seconds. That is not a migration, it's more like a stampede of J.B. Pritzker look-alike contestants at a free pizza grand opening.

The U.S. Census Bureau’s March report highlighted that the nation’s most populous counties. Including Los Angeles, Cook County (Chicago), Harris County (Houston), and the five boroughs of New York City. Are feeling the sting of lower Net International Migration.

Historically, these hubs relied on international arrivals to offset domestic losses. However, the CBC reported a 70 percent drop in international migration to New York City in 2025 compared to the previous year.

"The nation’s largest counties . . .  are often international migration hubs," said Census Bureau demographer George M. Hayward. "With fewer gains from international migration, these types of counties saw their population growth diminish or even turn into loss."Translation: Even the replacement population is starting to notice the vibe is off.

Guess who's running for re-election after resigning: un-freaking believable

What follows is stranger, and certainly funnier, than fiction.

Former Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL), who resigned from Congress before she was officially kicked out, is doing something so shameless, so typical of D.C., and I hate to admit it, something quite funny: she is running for re-election to her old seat. 

It creates another headache for Democrats, as Sheila was engulfed in a scandal where she reportedly stole millions in relief aid from FEMA. It was a lengthy investigation by the House Ethics Committee, and it became clear she was done when the most vocal left-wingers on the Hill were calling for her removal (via NOTUS):

Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, the embattled, now-former congresswoman who resigned from Congress this week ahead of potential expulsion, plans to defiantly run for reelection. Cherfilus-McCormick filed on April 17 to run again for her seat, and a campaign aide confirmed to NOTUS she is running — as a Democrat.

Cherfilus-McCormick stepped down from office Tuesday, a half hour before the House Ethics Committee was scheduled to recommend punishment on an array of charges. The panel had previously found her guilty of 25 ethics violations, including allegedly stealing $5 million dollars in federal disaster-aid funds used to bolster her 2021 campaign as well as campaign-finance violations.

The committee had been investigating Cherfilus-McCormick for two years, issuing 58 subpoenas, interviewing 28 witnesses and reviewing over 33,000 documents.

Cherfilus-McCormick also faces criminal charges regarding the federal relief funds she received during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this month, a judge granted her a trial-date extension to February 2027.

In the meantime, she is running for the south Florida seat. 

Her resignation left the 20th Congressional District seat vacant and it is unclear when Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis plans to fill the vacancy. The Republican-led Legislature is also debating whether to redraw district maps in the state.

Look, only in the swamp does a politician get caught with her hand in the FEMA cookie jar for millions, get chased out by her own side, and immediately decide the voters deserve another shot at her. The Democrats must be thrilled to have this walking ethics indictment on the ballot again. Nothing says "we've learned our lesson" like running the same scandal-plagued candidate right back out there. South Florida is in for quite the show.

Florida Democrat Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick resigns from Congress

Former Democrat Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick and her eyelashes 

Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) resigned from Congress today, Tuesday, April 21, 2026. The resignation went down just minutes before a scheduled House Ethics Committee hearing set to consider formal disciplinary action, which could have included expulsion recommendations.

The committee had previously found "clear and convincing evidence" of 25 out of 27 violations related to ethics rules and campaign finance laws, including allegations that she misused millions in federal COVID-era FEMA disaster relief funds (improperly sent to her family's health care company) to support her 2022 congressional campaign.
Cherfilus-McCormick said in her arrogant statement that the process was a "witch hunt" and unfair "political games," saying she chose to step away rather than continue. Her resignation is effective immediately.

"Rather than play these political games, I choose to step away so I can devote my time to fighting for my neighbors in Florida's 20th District," she wrote on social media Tuesday afternoon. "I hereby resign from the 119th Congress, effective immediately."

"This fight is far from over," Cherfilus-McCormick, who was indicted by a grand jury last year for allegedly stealing COVID-19 emergency funds, added in her statement.

She is facing 53 years in prison as part of a separate criminal indictment. The chances that her actually serving that sentence is as remote as JD Pritzker running a marathon.

Her abrupt announcement came after Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) pledged to file a motion to expel her, teeing up a vote later this week. It takes two-thirds of the House to remove a lawmaker, but a growing number of Democrats have voiced support for the expulsion effort.

House Ethics Chairman Michael Guest (R-MS) announced the panel lost jurisdiction with Cherfilus-McCormick's eleventh-hour decision to quit Congress. The committee panel dropped a bombshell back in March, uncovering "clear and convincing evidence" that Florida Democrat Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick had misused federal disaster relief money, funneled improperly straight to her family’s healthcare company, along with a boatload of other misconduct that would make even the most jaded Capitol Hill veteran raise an eyebrow.

Cherfilus-McCormick, of course, has denied any wrongdoing from day one and repeatedly swatted away any chatter that she might actually resign if faced with the real possibility of an expulsion vote.

She took to social media to blast the entire ethics investigation as a "witch hunt" and whined about supposed violations of her due process rights, even though the committee had bent over backward to accommodate her, granting a delay earlier this year when she temporarily lost her legal representation.

But Rep. Michael Guest wasn’t having any of it on Tuesday. The Mississippi Republican pushed back hard on that narrative, pointing out that Cherfilus-McCormick had repeatedly turned down the committee’s invitations to hand over any exculpatory evidence that might clear her name."The committee has worked diligently to investigate this matter," Guest said. "This was not a rush to judgment, as some would claim … this was a very deliberate process to gather information into allegations that were extremely serious, and extremely complicated."

Guest also made sure to thank the committee staff who had spent more than two years grinding through this mess, poring over tens of thousands of documents to get to the bottom of Cherfilus-McCormick’s alleged shenanigans.

And just like that, she became the third lawmaker to resign from Congress in the past week alone. California Democrat Eric Swalwell and Texas Republican Tony Gonzales both stepped down last week to dodge their own expulsion threats tied to serious sexual misconduct allegations.

At least five women have now come forward accusing Swalwell of sexual assault and rape. Gonzales, for his part, admitted to sexual misconduct back in March with a former aide, who later tragically died by suicide.

Despite the storm clouds, Cherfilus-McCormick went ahead and filed for re-election anyway, though her fundraising tells a different story: she scraped together a measly $11,000 in the first quarter of the year, according to the latest FEC filings. Whether she plans to actually keep that campaign alive remains to be seen.

Notably, Cherfilus-McCormick herself wasn’t even on the House floor when her resignation announcement was read aloud.

A staffer for the congresswoman told reporters she was back in Washington with her family as the news dropped.

"She's with her family digesting this development and digesting this decision," the aide said. "As you can imagine, this wasn't what she wanted."

House Democratic leadership stayed conspicuously silent in the run-up to her resignation announcement, even after the Ethics Committee laid out the extensive misconduct in painstaking detail.

But it looks like Cherfilus-McCormick finally caved once a wave of her own Democratic colleagues made it crystal clear they’d vote to expel her if that rare removal vote ever hit the floor.

Former Speaker Nancy Hands-a-Flying Pelosi, never one to mince words, went on Fox News Tuesday and basically said enough is enough: "Let’s just get this over with."

Pelosi also called for the swift boot of embattled Rep. Cory Mills, the Florida Republican currently under Ethics Committee scrutiny for an alleged domestic violence incident and other issues.

"These cases just being out there . . .  they make us look terrible," Pelosi said.House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, meanwhile, didn’t publicly call on Cherfilus-McCormick to step down before she pulled the plug.

On the other side of the aisle, Speaker Mike Johnson argued that the Ethics Committee should be allowed to finish its work on Mills before any punishment gets considered.

"I'm confident that they are moving along as quickly as they are able," Johnson told Fox News. "And when members cooperate, which my understanding is Representative Mills is cooperating, unlike Cherfilus-McCormick, I would expect that the outcome would be much sooner."

"He's very upset about some of the allegations that have been made," Johnson added of Mills. "He says that he wants to prove his innocence, and he has the opportunity to do that."

By the way, this resignation didn’t fly under the radar, major outlets across the spectrum, Brain Flushings, PBS and CNN to CBS, Fox News, The Hill, Politico, Reuters, NBC, and The Washington Post, all jumped on the story today.

Soros-funded Leftist NY Attorney General Letitia James Hit with More Criminal Referral

New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) was hit with two federal criminal referrals Wednesday alleging she may have committed homeowners insurance fraud. [Imagine that, a politician making money the old fashioned illegal way.]

Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director William Pulte alleged in the missives, obtained by The Post, that James may have falsified information in filings with Illinois-based Allstate Insurance Company and Florida-based Universal Property Insurance.

The referrals were sent to US Attorney for Northern District of Illinois Andrew Boutros and US Attorney for Southern District of Florida Jason Reding Quinones.

They come four months after a federal judge in Virginia dismissed a criminal indictment against James accusing the Empire State’s top prosecutor of mortgage fraud.

Both of Pulte’s referrals cite insurance documents posted on social media by Mike Davis, a close ally of President Trump and founder of the conservative judicial advocacy group Article III Project.

The documents appear to suggest James represented to the Illinois-based insurer that a Norfolk, Virginia, property she purchased in 2020 “would be occupied by a single adult, with no children,” Pulte wrote.

“Instead, according to the post, she knew the house was actually occupied by four people, three children and her niece,” the Housing chief continued. “As such, it appears Ms. James may have defrauded the Illinois-based insurance company.”

In the Florida referral, Pulte alleged James “made false representations” to Universal Property Insurance that the same Norfolk home “would be unoccupied five months out of the year.”

“Frustrated by repeated failures, where judges and grand juries have rejected their attempts to charge Attorney General James, Trump and his political enablers keep abusing their power to pursue a vendetta against her by trying to rename, refile, and repeat baseless allegations,” attorney Abbe Lowell said in a statement.

“They continue this improper revenge campaign instead of helping bring down the rising cost of living in this country,” Lowell added. “These desperate tactics will fail, just as every previous attempt has failed, and exposes an Administration that has abandoned its responsibility to the American people in favor of petty political payback.”

US District Judge Cameron Currie dismissed the DOJ’s mortgage fraud case against James last November after finding then interim US Attorney Lindsey Halligan was improperly appointed to her position and “had no lawful authority” to secure indictments.

Oh look at that, folks. Letitia James, the same Democrat Attorney General who has spent years turning the New York legal system into her own personal Trump hunting ground, now finds herself staring down not one, but two fresh federal criminal referrals for what sure smells like good old-fashioned homeowners insurance fraud. Shocking, yes, but karma too.

The woman who weaponized her office against political enemies suddenly gets a taste of actual accountability?

So which is it, Letitia? Single adult with no kids, or empty half the year? You can't have it both ways, unless of course you're a Democrat who thinks the law is just a suggestion for thee but not for me.

Of course, her lawyer Abbe Lowell came out swinging with the usual Democrat script, aka Trump Derangement Syndrome, (TDS).

Meanwhile, the rest of America is just supposed to ignore the pattern of a top law enforcement official allegedly playing fast and loose with the truth on official documents. Yeah, sure.

And lest we forget, US District Judge Cameron Currie already dismissed the DOJ’s mortgage fraud case against James last November after ruling that the interim U.S. Attorney at the time had no lawful authority to bring the charges. Procedural dismissal, not an exoneration on the merits, but you know the left will spin it as total innocence anyway.

Here is the bottom line, guys. If Letitia James has been committing insurance fraud and mortgage fraud, she should face the music just like anybody else. No special treatment for blue-state Attorneys General who spent years trying to bankrupt political opponents through the courts. Equal justice under the law is the American way. Or at least it used to be, before the two-tiered system became the new normal under Democrats.

This is a woman who promised to go after Trump even before she went into office, and even before she had anything to charge him with, the very definition of lawfare.

Tiger Woods arrested for DUI, released from jail, looks like 20 miles of bad road

Tiger Woods was arrested on Friday for allegedly driving under the influence after a car crash that left his vehicle rolled over on the driver's side. [The term 'allegedly' is used here to avoid legal ramifications.] As luck would have it, he didn't kill anyone in this, his third accident.

The golfer was released from jail Friday night.

In a mugshot released hours after his arrest, Woods' eyes appeared bloodshot, as he donned a fashionable blue polo inside the Martin County Jail in Florida.

Woods was seen leaving the jail in the passenger seat of a black SUV after his release on bail late Friday, according to The Associated Press.

Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek confirmed in a news conference that Woods was traveling at "a high rate of speed" when his vehicle collided with another car, resulting in his vehicle rolling over onto the driver's side.

Authorities said Woods "exemplified signs of impairment." He blew "triple-zeroes" for alcohol but refused a urine test, which possibly [aka likely] indicates he was drug-impaired.

"DUI investigators came to the scene here, and Mr. Woods did exemplify signs of impairment. They did several tests on him. Of course, he did explain the injuries and the surgeries that he had. We did take that into account, but they did do some in-depth roadside tests," Budensiek added. 

But no warrant for a blood draw was requested, as is often the case with less famous people and Woods was off the hook, at least in part.

"We really weren't suspicious of alcohol being involved in this case, and that proved to be true at the jail. … But when it came time for us to ask for a urinalysis test, he refused. And, so, he's been charged with DUI, with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test."

Woods was spotted on the phone after the crash, wearing fashionable navy blue shorts.

The golfer was charged with DUI, property damage and refusal to submit to a test, all misdemeanor charges. No one was injured, authorities said. Woods was alone in the car and crawled out of the passenger door after the crash.

The man who hits little white balls into little holes was driven from the Martin County Jail after being arrested for driving under the influence following a car crash on March 27, 2026, in Stuart, Florida. "This could've been a lot worse," Budensiek noted.

Yes, he could have killed someone and/or himself, but he was lucky once again.

President Donald Trump commented on the arrest of his "very close friend."

"I feel so badly. He's got some difficulty," Trump said. "There was an accident, and that's all I know. Very close friend of mine. He's an amazing person, an amazing man, but some difficulty." Woods has not commented on the arrest.

Woods currently is dating Trump's ex-daughter-in-law, Vanessa, whose daughter, Kai, is set to play college golf in Miami next week.

This is Woods' second DUI arrest within the last decade. In 2017, he was taken into custody, also in Jupiter Island, after taking prescription drugs and being asleep behind the wheel of a running car at 3 a.m.

In 2021, he got into a wreck that resulted in serious leg injuries that kept him off the golf course for the entire year.

Woods made his return to competitive golf earlier this week in the TGL championship after rupturing his Achilles just before last year's Masters (this year's tournament is in less than two weeks). Woods has not appeared on the links since the 2024 PGA Championship, in which he missed the cut.

Indicted Democrat Rep. closer to expulsion: House Ethics panel finds her guilty of 25 violations

A bipartisan panel of House lawmakers voted to kickstart a process that could lead to the expulsion of a congressional Democrat accused of laundering millions of disaster relief funds into her campaign account.

A House Ethics investigative subcommittee approved a motion for summary judgment, effectively finding Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL) guilty of nearly all alleged violations outlined by the committee earlier this year.

The guilty verdict came after a rare public ethics hearing on Thursday, the first since 2010, that lasted more than six hours as lawmakers from both parties grilled Cherfilus-McCormick’s counsel. The eight-member adjudicatory subcommittee, helmed by Rep. Michael Guest (R-MS), announced its decision in a written statement Friday morning.

"After careful deliberation that lasted until well past midnight, the adjudicatory subcommittee found that Counts 1-15 and 17-26 of the SAV [statement of alleged violations] had been proven," committee leaders said in a statement.

Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick was indicted by a Miami grand jury for allegedly stealing $5 million in FEMA funds on Nov. 18, 2025, according to the Department of Justice. I would say that she is toast, but it almost feels like politicians often get away with most things short of murder. And let's face it, even Hillary Clinton is walking free.

The panel’s slew of charges against the congresswoman, who is facing a separate federal criminal indictment, ranged from using ineligible funds to finance her campaign to repeatedly filing false financial disclosure forms and seeking "special favors" with recipients of earmark funding requests.

The panel will meet after the Easter recess to determine its recommended punishment, which could be as severe as expulsion, a rare move that has been historically dominated by Democrats.

Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) has vowed to move forward with his resolution that would expel Cherfilus-McCormick regardless of the outcome.

Under House rules, two-thirds of lawmakers have to agree to expel a member, meaning Steube’s resolution would need the support of some Democrats, who rarely go against their own no matter what the evidence. [One has to wonder if this is done to protect themselves.]

House Democratic leadership so far has largely stood by Cherfilus-McCormick as is their wont, though some congressional Democrats are signaling their discomfort with the allegations against their indicted colleague.

"The allegations before us are extremely serious," Rep. Mark Desaulnier (D-CA) said at the start of the hearing Thursday. "They not only concern an individual member’s conduct, they also implicate the public’s confidence in the House’s integrity as an institution." We shall see if he is serious about his words.

Cherfilus-McCormick, who first won election to Congress in 2021, is accused of stealing more than $5 million in disaster relief funds that were improperly paid to her family’s healthcare company, among other criminal allegations. She and her siblings allegedly used the illicit funds to jumpstart her congressional campaign and for personal use, including the purchase of a humungous diamond ring that she appeared to have worn in her official congressional portrait.

Cherfilus-McCormick has pleaded not guilty to the stunning federal charges brought in 2025. If convicted in federal court, Cherfilus-McCormick, 47, faces up to 53 years in prison, which I suspect is as unlikely as getting struck by lightning on a clear day at noon inside of Grand Central Station.

The House ethics panel’s investigation into Cherfilus-McCormick preceded the 2025 federal criminal indictment by more than two years. During that time, she had shifted between four different attorneys while largely refusing to cooperate with the bipartisan panel. 

On Thursday, Cherfilus-McCormick sought to use the fact of her new legal representation to further delay the committee’s proceedings until June, a request the eight-member panel promptly denied in a closed-door session. Her new attorney, William Barzee, repeatedly claimed a violation of Cherfilus-McCormick’s due process rights while maintaining her innocence, which is something he gets paid to say.

"For you to sit here and make the claim that we, the committee, is trying to trample upon the rights of your client. I take offense to that," Guest told Barzee in a combative exchange. "For two years we've tried to get documents from your client. Not only have we requested documents, but we have subpoenaed those documents. Those documents were not provided for two years.

"I'm personally offended because I know the work that this committee goes to protect all members and to make sure that we go above and beyond," Guest continued.

Members of both parties appeared unconvinced by Barzee’s argument, attempting to claim that Cherfilus-McCormick was entitled to the millions of dollars she accepted from her family’s company that stemmed from the FEMA overpayments. In what universe does that make sense?

When Barzee claimed that an undated chart was evidence of a "profit-sharing agreement" showing her legal title to the money, the bipartisan panel appeared visibly pissed off.

"I did a lot of business transaction law for a number of years before I came to Congress. I drafted a lot of profit-sharing agreements. Never saw one that was just a chart that was unsigned," Rep. Nathaniel Moran (R-TX), told Barzee.

Later in the hearing, Barzee argued that because Cherfilus-McCormick is of Haitian descent, it was not atypical to have a "handshake agreement" to divvy up millions of dollars between her and her family instead of a formal legal document.

Cherfilus-McCormick faces an upcoming federal criminal trial this summer. Just don't hold your breath to see justice served in her case. I hope I'm wrong, and I would say exactly the same thing had it been a Republican miscreant.

Miami GOP head calls for GOP party official to resign

Florida Republican leaders are demanding that Miami GOP Secretary Abel Alexander Carvajal resign immediately after explosive revelations emerged about his involvement in a conservative group chat riddled with vile racial slurs, antisemitic statements, and other disgusting content.

Miami-Dade County Republican Party Chairman Kevin Cooper declared that "anyone associated with this chat should resign immediately." Meanwhile, Republican state Rep. Juan Porras directly called on Carvajal to step down on Wednesday, blasting the messages as "deeply disturbing and completely unacceptable."

Carvajal launched the group chat last fall, mainly for conservative students at Florida International University. Leaked messages revealed participants unleashing a barrage of racial slurs targeting Jews and Black people. Among the worst offenders were Dariel Gonzalez, then the College Republicans' recruitment chairman, and Ian Valdes, the Turning Point USA chapter president. Carvajal chimed in occasionally, deleted some messages, but never shut the chat down, according to the Miami Herald.

In one exchange, Gonzalez wrote, "You can f*** all the ks you want. Just don't marry them and procreate," warning about the danger of having "a little k running arounddddd." Valdes shot back, "I would def not marry a Jew." [The k abbreviation apparently stands for the disgusting antisemitic slur that rhymes with 'bike'.]

In another antisemitic moment, Valdes renamed the group chat "Gooning in Agartha," a reference to crude slang for male masturbation combined with the mythical underground civilization pushed by Heinrich Himmler, Adolf Hitler's right-hand man. Valdes called Agartha "esoteric nazism essentially," and Gonzalez described it as "Nazi heaven sort of."

Elsewhere, Valdes pushed, "We need to have a moratorium on immigration temporarily unless it's someone from a first world country….Yeah I obviously mean whites."

The chat also featured plenty of misogynistic trash talk about women, along with repeated use of the n-word and violent, hateful comments against Black people. Gonzalez sneered, "Ew you had colored professors?!" adding, "I reguse [sic] to be indoctrinated by the coloreds." He later insisted, "Avoid the coloreds like the plague."

Another exchange reported by the Floridian Press included a user spewing violent fantasies about wanting to "exterminate ns in the gas chamber" and "eat ns," among other sickening rants. Gonzalez's response? "How edgy."

Carvajal, the Miami GOP secretary who created the chat, once he was caught claimed, "had I known and had I seen some of these messages, I would have called the police." When pressed on whether he would resign, he shot back, "Of course not … for a chat where the messages that were stated were not mine."

Porras made it clear that Carvajal's failure to shut down the chat and take decisive action as a leader is indefensible. The state representative, who also serves as a Miami-Dade GOP state committee member, stressed that "Hatred toward Jewish Americans, racist rhetoric, calls for violence, all these ideas have no place in our party, our state, or our country."

"Leadership carries responsibility," Porras added. "When someone in a leadership role engages in this kind of behavior, it damages the trust placed in our party by voters across Florida. The Republican Party stands for law, order, and respect for every American. We believe in the dignity of every person."

Cooper, as the first Jewish chairman of the Miami-Dade Republican Party, said he was "shocked" by the WhatsApp messages.

Smiling anti-ICE agitator accused of punching FL trooper as Gov. DeSantis declarers, "This is not Minneapolis"

Jennifer Cruz is seen allegedly resisting arrest in Florida. She was detained after allegedly punching a trooper in the face during an immigration enforcement operation, according to Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier.

"This is Jennifer Cruz of Jacksonville," Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier wrote in an X post, sharing an image of the woman, who appeared to smile as law enforcement restrained her, but of course, it could have simply been gas.

Moments before she cracked a grin, video [below] shows Cruz kicking toward a female officer while other law enforcement members had already placed her hands behind her back.

"Jennifer disagrees with immigration enforcement and decided to commit a few felonies by getting out of her car and punching a Trooper in the face. But unlike Minnesota, we don't put up with this nonsense. Not today, Jennifer," Uthmeier wrote.

Footage shows a chaotic scene as authorities attempted to detain Cruz. As several officers placed her hands behind her back and walked her toward one of their vehicles, Cruz is seen attempting to kick another female officer nearby. Cruz then smirks as the officers detaining her place her on the hood of a vehicle. Once placed in the back of the vehicle, she is seen flailing her corpulent legs and continuing to shout at officers until the doors are slammed.

A News4JAX reporter spoke to Juan Alvarez, the owner of the Mi Pueblo grocery store which was near where the incident occurred. He said he witnessed a traffic stop involving a state trooper.

"ICE agents showed up with the state trooper. They detained the driver," he said.

"And so yeah, they had an operation going on. And after that, they had detained another person. But it seems they got into an altercation with that person. It turned violent," he said, noting that more law enforcement showed up.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis shared Uthmeier's post and wrote, "Really bad decision to attack one of our troopers. This isn't Minneapolis…"

DeSantis also mentioned the incident at an unrelated press conference on Thursday.

"I do know that there was a woman who came out and assaulted one of our troopers," DeSantis said. "Let me just tell you guys this is not Minneapolis. That is not going to end well for you in Florida."

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, (R-FL), quipped in a post, "Never go full Jennifer." [Jennifer is the new Karen.]

"This is how it's done. In Florida, we respect law enforcement and have no patience for far-left extremists who choose to defend dangerous criminals instead of their fellow Americans. This isn’t Minneapolis. In Florida, if you break the law, you will pay the consequences," Rep. Greg Steube, (R-FL), asserted on X.
