Carville Says Networks Should Have Aired Trump Speech So America Could See What CNN Sees Every Morning

James Carville has finally solved the mystery of why the legacy media should carry President Donald Trump's speeches live. Not because Americans deserve to hear their president. Not because voters can make up their own minds. No, according to the Democratic strategist, the networks should have aired it so viewers could receive the proper Commie News Network approved diagnosis.

Appearing on CNN's The Situation, Carville lamented that ABC, NBC, CNN, and the rest of the usual suspects deprived America of what he considers must see television. Others might call it "reporting the news."

"I would advise them to attack CNN, attack ABC, attack NBC, attack MS NOW, because they didn’t air the speech. And I think the President of the United States acting loonier than a tune is newsworthy. I don’t think we should have hidden that from the American people. I think it should have been blanket coverage of it. He’s literally off his rocker, and there’s no other way to describe this," he told Wolf Blitzer.

That is quite a pivot. Just hours after the media collectively decided Trump's remarks on election security were too dangerous for public consumption, one of the Democratic Party's loudest strategists complained they should have broadcast every second of it.

Apparently censorship is only a bad idea when Democrats think it will help their polling numbers.

Carville is the longtime Democratic strategist and Bill Clinton campaign advisor. He is known for his blunt, combative style, and some of the statements he has made in the past, have sparked backlash for being classist and even misogynistic and dismissive of women's claims. He has also been quite dismissive toward fellow Democrats.

In 1998 the made what is known as the "Trailer Park" comment: “If you drag a hundred-dollar bill through a trailer park, you never know what you’ll find” (or “you’ll find plenty of women to accuse Clinton of sexual harassment”). This statement was made at the height of the Paula Jones sexual harassment lawsuit and Monica Lewinsky 'Oral Office Scandal," as some have called it.

But even prior to that comment, there was the "Bimbo Eruptions" in his handling of the 1992 campaign. While he didn't make a direct quote along these lines about Bill Clinton's affairs and sexual misconduct during the presidential race, he was a central figure int the Clinton "war room" where aides (Betsey Wright, specifically) used the term "bimbo eruption. This was criticized as slut-shaming and derogatory toward women. Carville and his team had to deal with damage control.

In 2017 Carville referred to Hillary Clinton as "a little bit like the guy who killed his parents and then asked for mercy because he was an orphan." This came soonafter Clinton's 2016 election defeat to President Trump. He was criticizing her for blaming external factors (such as FBI Director James Comey’s letter and Russian interference) rather than taking full personal responsibility.

The last example I'll give is when, in 2024, Carville called to "kill the woke." In interviews around the 2024 election cycle, he stated that the party had to “kill the woke” or move away from progressive cultural priorities to focus on economic “kitchen table” issues. This obviously provoked strong backlash from progressive Democrats and activists, who viewed it as a betrayal of social justice causes, LGBTQ+ rights, and racial equity priorities. 

So James Carville is a tad touched in the head.

Wolf Blitzer looked slightly confused by the sudden outbreak of consistency and asked, "So you think we should have given him more publicity? Is that what you’re saying?"

Carville eagerly snatched a fly near his face, popped it in his mouth, and replied, "Absolutely saying that, I’m absolutely saying that. I think the decision not to air that speech by CNN and other and other networks is not being what’s really newsworthy, and that this guy’s gone."

Translation, Americans should have been trusted to watch the speech, as long as they arrived at the same conclusion CNN had already prepared for them.

Carville then continued his medical evaluation from the comfort of a television studio.

"He knows he’s going to lose, but he couldn’t explain what he was trying to do. He couldn’t execute it. Literally, the guy was literally crazy. And he just rehashed everything."

It was an impressive performance from a political consultant insisting the media should air a speech only because he was certain viewers would hate it.

The irony is hard to miss. For years, the press has insisted Americans cannot be trusted to hear certain arguments because they might be persuaded. Now Carville is arguing they should hear Trump's speech because they definitely will not be persuaded.

At least someone on CNN accidentally admitted the obvious. If Trump's speech was really as unhinged as Carville claims, why hide it? 

The only thing stranger than refusing to air it is demanding it should have been aired only after deciding in advance what everyone was supposed to think about it. That is less journalism and more Mystery Science Theater with a newsroom budget.

Journalism is dead.

Carville finally decides his Party has become a circus

The Democratic Party has spent years insisting it's a "big tent." Now one of its own elder statesmen has looked around the circus and decided the tent has become a full blown asylum.

Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville has finally reached the point where reality has overpowered partisan loyalty, publicly disowning a candidate backed by New York City Mayor Comrade Zohran Mamdani and calling for nothing less than a formal split in the Democratic Party.

Speaking with co-host Al Hunt on the "Politics War Room" podcast, Carville reacted to the stunning primary victories of three Mamdani-backed candidates in New York, including Democratic socialist Darializa Avila Chevalier. While both men complained that Republicans are exaggerating these candidates' influence, Carville immediately demonstrated why conservatives don't have to exaggerate anything.

"I have the quote right here, I’ll get to it. She has attacked interracial relationships and the American flag. Lady, I ain't in the same party as you. I'm sorry," Carville said. "I’m just not, and I actually do think it's time for Democrats to talk ‘the S-word.’ ‘Schism.’ I really do."

Imagine that. After years of being told conservatives were the ones harboring extremists, one of the Democratic Party's chief strategists is now openly wondering whether his own party needs an exorcism.

"Everybody's always said, 'No, no, we're coalition. We're a big tent,'" Carville continued. "And there's some there's just some s--- that I can't be in the same tent with."

Welcome to the party you helped build.

Carville argued that many of these far left activists don't even believe in the Democratic Party itself but use its ballot line as a convenient vehicle to push radical ideas.

"Let's negotiate a terms of a schism here. Maybe we can part under some kind of advantageous terms for both of us, but I'm done. And I'm not in that f---ing political party."

His breaking point was not merely socialism. It was Israel.

"I am totally comfortable in a political party that spends time questioning the policies of the government of Israel. In fact, I'm enthusiastic about that. I don't want to be in a political party that denies the right of the state of Israel to exist. That's just not I just can't do that. I'm sorry. It's just not doable."

It's remarkable to hear one of the Democratic Party's longest serving strategists say aloud what many moderate Democrats whisper behind closed doors. The anti Israel faction is no longer knocking on the door. It's redecorating the living room.

Hunt didn't disagree.

"They are a great gift to Donald Trump," he replied, urging prominent Democrats including Barack Obama to publicly distance themselves from the movement. "Certainly people like Obama, but also some of the younger Democrats and said, ‘This is not us.’"

He also warned that unless Democrats score a decisive victory in November, "that group of crazies" could spend years undermining House Democratic leadership.

Even Hunt, who credited Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with eventually becoming a functional member of Congress after her early years, admitted he saw little hope for Mamdani's political allies.

"I don't think this group has that potential."

"I don't either," Carville answered. "And I think AOC is smart. I could be in the same party with her in many ways. I can't be in the same party with Miss Chevalier. Can't do it. Sorry."

It's a remarkable admission. When Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suddenly qualifies as the reasonable wing of your political party, your ideological Overton window hasn't shifted. It has fallen off a cliff.

Melania Trump Slaps Hunter Biden with a Billion-Dollar Legal Haymaker

Hunter Biden, the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to self-inflicted drama, has managed to poke the wrong bear this time. And that bear is none other than Melania Trump, who's not exactly known for suffering fools lightly.

In a recent interview with Andrew Callaghan dubbed "Hunter Biden Returns," the president's prodigal son decided to play fast and loose with the truth, claiming, "Epstein introduced Melania to Trump. The connections are, like, so wide and deep." 

Oh, Hunter, did you really think you could just toss out that kind of radioactive gossip and not get burned?

Enter Melania's attorney, Alejandro Brito, who didn't just send a strongly worded letter, he dropped a $1 billion legal anvil on Hunter's dizzy head, demanding a retraction and an apology for the "false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory" statements. 

The letter [below] pulls no punches: "Failure to comply will leave Mrs. Trump with no choice but to pursue any and all legal rights and remedies available to her to recover the overwhelming financial and reputational harm that you have caused her to suffer." 

Translation: Back off, or you'll be writing checks your art career can't cash.

Brito [not to be confused with the dolt self-named Beto] doubled down, pointing out Hunter has "no viable defense to the overwhelming reputational and financial harm" he’s caused the First Lady. He also called out the timing of the video, noting, "The timing of this video is evident and underscores the actual malice behind the decision to publish it given the plain falsity of the statements." In other words, Hunter isn't just wrong, he's wrong with an agenda.

The letter wrapped up with a not-so-subtle threat of a lawsuit north of $1 billion if Hunter doesn't comply. Melania's not playing checkers; she's playing chess with a flamethrower.

This isn't Melania's first rodeo, either. Her legal team previously strong-armed The Daily Beast and Democratic operative, the reptilian James Carville, into retracting similar Epstein-related nonsense, and both issued groveling apologies. 

Melania even took to X to crow about Carville's mea culpa. Her aide, Nick Clemens, told Fox News Digital, "First Lady Melania Trump’s attorneys are actively ensuring immediate retractions and apologies by those who spread malicious, defamatory falsehoods. The true account of how the First Lady met President Trump is in her best-selling book, 'Melania.'" In case you missed it, that's a polite way of saying, "Read the book, dimwits, and stop making stuff up."

Hunter's deadline to retract came and went (August 7 at 5 p.m. EST, to be precise) and so far, crickets. This is the same guy who, in his last chat with Callaghan, threw shade at Democrats for ditching his dad and took a swipe at former Biden advisor Anita Dunn. Apparently, Hunter’s got a knack for burning bridges with both sides of the aisle. But picking a fight with Melania? That’s a bold move, even for a guy whose life has been based on bad decisions.

So, what's next? Will Hunter eat crow and retract, or will he roll the dice and face Melania's legal wrath, in another bad decision? One thing's for sure: Melania Trump isn't here for the nonsense, and she has the lawyers and the cash to back it up.

James Carville: "Jews are whiter than Palestinians" GOP support for Israel is racist, he claims

When you don't have a good argument, shout "racist." But sometimes you see a racist for real and have to call him out.

Long-time Democratic political strategist James Carville claims Republicans support the Jewish state out of “misogyny and racism,” because “Jews are whiter than Palestinians.”

The long-time Democratic political strategist and commentator is facing criticism this week after stating that Republican support for the State of Israel is largely rooted in “misogyny and racism.” According to James Carville, American conservatives identify as pro-Israel because “Jews are whiter than Palestinians.”

Carville, who served as a top political strategist for President Bill Clinton and advised the presidential campaigns of John Kerry and Hillary Clinton, made these comments last Thursday on the Politics War Room podcast, which he cohosts with Al Hunt. He asserted that bigotry is the primary driver of Republican support for Israel and added that Jews are “whiter” than Palestinians.
“It’s really about the misogyny and the racism that drives the thing and we have got to recognize that,” the anti-Semite said.

“It is not about policy prescription. And the reason that I suspect that most of these people describe themselves as pro-Israel is because the Jews are whiter than the Palestinians, which I think drives a lot of what they are.”

On Monday, the New York-based group Americans For A Safe Israel (AFSI) criticized Carville's comments, disputing his claim that Israeli Jews are "whiter than Palestinians.”
The majority of Israelis are not white,” said Moshe Phillips, National Chairman of Americans for a Safe Israel (AFSI).

“They’re of Jewish Middle Eastern or Jewish African heritage, meaning that they are just as much ‘people of color’ as Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.”

“It’s disturbing that a political strategist who is so ignorant about Israeli demography would nonetheless offer policy analysis about the subject. We urge James Carville to publicly acknowledge his egregious error.”

During Thursday's podcast, Carville also accused former President Donald Trump of being "radically anti-Palestinian" and criticized progressive critics of the Biden administration for threatening to withdraw support from the Democratic ticket in November over American aid to Israel.
“Well that’s just some dumbass political sh*t all right, the 79-year-old Democratic consultant said.

Fetterman tells James Carville "Shut the f**k up," apparently due to a cognitive relapse

When he supported Israel it looked as if John Fetterman's (D-PA) cognitive impairment was improving. Even when he spoke, he did so with greater clarity than he showed soon after his stroke.

But it looks like he's having a setback after attacking veteran Democrat strategist James Carville's analysis of Joe Biden's chances of winning a second term. Specifically, Carville believes Biden's chances aren't great, while Fetterman refuses to agree with that prediction. 

Fetterman addressed Carville's claim during an interview with POLITICO that was published on Wednesday, as he responded to questions about the barely sentient president's chances of winning in Pennsylvania in the 2024 election. 

“All I do know is that the president will win Pennsylvania. And I do believe if he wins Pennsylvania, and I believe he will, he will be a second-term president,” Fetterman said coherently. Then he addressed Carville’s assessment of Biden's chances and he obviously wasn't thrilled about Carville's assessment.

“There’s a whole lifetime in politics between now and next November as well. I’m not worried about that. And I’m very vocal about this, too, while there are Democrats that are being very critical about the president,” Fetterman said. “I’ll use this [as] another opportunity to tell James Carville to shut the f**k up. Like I said, my man hasn’t been relevant since grunge was a thing. And I don’t know why he believes it’s helpful to say these kinds of things about an incredibly difficult circumstance with an incredibly strong and decent and excellent president. I’ll never understand that.”

And there ended Fetterman's strange, new respect conservatives may have had for him after he defended Israel's existence.

Carville responded by telling POLITICO that other senators had not “gotten the memo yet” regarding his irrelevance. “I’m glad he’s feeling better,” Carville sarcastically said of Fetterman.

Carville had a much less favorable forecast for Biden in a December 13 interview with Kassie Hunt of CNN. He believed that Biden would likely lose to Trump if the election were held that day.

“It sounds to me like you think if the election were held today, Biden would lose,” Hunt suggested, and Carville agreed with her assessment.

“Me and everybody else,” he said.

Alexandria Obviously-Commie age-shames James Carville for the word "woke"

White supremacist and age-shaming Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Commie (Socialist-NY) is a tweeting phenomenon who went on Twitter, the popular website that censors free speech, to mock the speech of Democratic strategist James Carville along with others who, unlike her, have IQs above two digits.

The ritzy-ditzy doll from Yorktown Heights went after Carville when he blamed the Democratic Party's "wokeness" for Terry McAuliffe's Virginia gubernatorial election loss to a truck driver. AOC claimed the term 'woke' is "almost exclusively used by older people," in spite of the fact that the term gained prominence after the shooting of thug Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014.

The left sees the idea of being "woke" as a person who self-identifies as a staunch social justice warrior, in touch with current political concerns like 'Spartacus' Cory Booker. And, in a Newsweek article referring to a recent The Hill/HarrisX poll of about 1,000 registered voters, about one-third of U.S. voters consider themselves to be "woke." While the ages of this population was not elucidated, it seems likely that not all of them were older than AOC. A larger percentage of men, 35 percent, said they would fit under the wide umbrella of the term "woke", while only 30 percent of women surveyed said the same. A 60 percent majority of Democrats surveyed said they think "wokeness" is a good thing for the country, but only about 20 percent of RINOs agreed.

AOC never defined her idea of 'older' as she did not assign a number to the term "woke," so one might conclude she meant anyone older than she, but perhaps she just says things in such a pedantic way that people will believe the word salads she often whips up to confuse her fans.

So, according to Carville, the loss suffered by the loser, Terry McAuliffe was primarily a result of "stupid wokeness" and the progressive agenda, and this pissed of AOC because it hit home for her and she had to attack the speaker, not the point, as is her wont.

ABC 13 News in a tweet quoted the New York socialist ditz and naturally, the ditz responded:

"How can news outlets even attribute words to me I didn’t say?" 

"I said there are limits to trying to mobilize a campaign with a 100% moderate strategy without mobilizing the base. Said nothing [about] ‘wokeness’ which is a term almost exclusively used by older people these days btw" 

The progressive brain trust also claimed the word "woke" is mainly used by "Carville and Fox News pundits," because she is obviously an avid follower of Fox News and James Carville.

In an attempt to woo her young, inexperienced, naive, socialist base, she said that statements targeting younger generations as "woke" by older Democrats will hurt "youth turnout" at the polls, just like kids learning from home when parents can see what's being taught to them will blow back on teachers and school boards.

But whatever we do, we must allow AOC her absolute freedom of speech, even though the left would deny us ours. She needs to keep talking and talking and talking, and then let's see where that gets her pary.
