Ireland's top Catholic says Israel is "merciless" for fighting back harder than they were attacked

Archbishop Eamon Martin knows nothing about warfare and probably has never gotten into an actual fight in his life. If he did, I suspect he lost because this person believes that if an attacker, after he has killed your children and spouse, punches you in the face, you should only punch him back in the face. 

But let's not pretend he's taken anything into account as to what the Hamassholes, Hezbollah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and many of the Gazans did on October 7, 2023, when they tortured, raped, immolated, and killed 1,200 Israelis and took 250 of them hostage, it is always the fault of the Jews when they're winning. For people like Martin, and sadly for many in Ireland along with their fellow anti-Semites in the world, it's only when the Jews are being slaughtered that they receive the sympathies of these people.

"Disproportionate?" The entire idea of fighting back a genocidal enemy using proportionate means is stupid.

But if the good Archbishop and all the other Jew-hating slugs want proportion, then the Israeli Defense Forces need to kill just as many Muslim babies, women and men, rape as many women, burn as many of them as they did on Oct. 7, and torture as many of them before killing them, to exercise a proportional response. And that will go on and on forever because it doesn't end wars. 

Freaking shock and awe ends wars and when you consider that Israel has the lowest civilian-to-terrorist casualty proportion than any other fighting force in history, I'd say they're doing a damn good job being as moral as any military can be under the circumstances. 

During World War Two, the bomb we dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 caused the immediate deaths of between 70,000 to 80,000 Japanese civilians and over time the death toll rose to about 140,000 from radiation sickness. In Nagasaki, the bomb we dropped three days later immediately killed between 40,000 to 75,000 civilians and radiation brought the death toll up to 80,000.

England firebombed the German city of Dresden between February 13-15, 1945 and killed an estimated 25,000 civilians. 

The majority of Irish, nay, the West, never complained of what was done to end the war but the civilian proportion to military was incredibly higher caused by the Allies. Some estimates figure the ratio of civilian to military deaths meted out by the Allies in World War 2 was 2:1. But in the war between Israel and their enemies, the death rate of civilians to military was 2:3. That sounds like a lot, and yes, it's tragic, but it's the lowest ever recorded in military history.

So the Archbishop needs to actually know what he's talking about and the anti-Semites in the West need to look in the mirror and search their souls.

Kamala Hahaharris compares Jan. 6 to bombing of Pearl Harbor and 9/11

There is no other way to say it so here goes: our Vice President, Kamala Harris, is an idiot. 

She is an idiot because anyone who believes the American people could be convinced that the event that took place last January 6th at the U.S. Capitol was comparable to the bombing of Pearl Harbor, which dragged us into the Second World War, and September 11, 2001, when thousands of people were killed as Islamic jihadis flew planes into the World Trade Center buildings, the Pentagon, and attempted to fly one into the White House but was thwarted, must be dumber than those she's trying to convince.

Harris marked the Jan. 6 anniversary of the Capitol riot with those comparisons. In effect, this our idiot VP has minimized actual tragedies with a bunch of people who were dissatisfied with the 2020 election procedures, and were protesting what they believe was a fraudulent result. Some of the rioters were armed, some engaged with the police, but most were too busy taking photos of the scene, talking on their phones, or simply walking around and checking things out. While Pearl Harbor and 9/11 were horrific events with horrible consequences, Jan. 6 was only a horrible consequence for a young lady named Ashli Babbitt.

Babbitt was unarmed and entering the Capitol building through a window when a Capital Police Officer shot and killed her for no other apparent reason. Babbitt was a military veteran, married, and may have been wrong to do what she did, but killing her was senseless and totally unjustified. In spite of that, the cop who shot her, Michael Byrd, was fully exonerated. 

Meanwhile, scores of people who participated at the Capitol that day are in jail with no formal charges leveled against them, and no bail offered. They are political prisoners, plain and simple and this should worry all Americans, left and right.

But here was Harris calling for legislation to "protect democracy." Speaking through her nostrils she said that,  “Certain dates echo throughout history, including dates that instantly remind all who have lived through them where they were, and what they were doing, when our democracy came under assault.”

“Dates that occupy not only a place on our calendars, but a place in our collective memory. December 7th, 1941, September 11th, 2001, and January 6th, 2021,” she bulls***ted. Then she warned us how fragile American democracy is.

“On Jan. 6, we all saw what our nation would look like if the forces who seek to dismantle our democracy are successful. The lawlessness. The violence. The chaos,” Harris said from the Capitol building. “What was at stake then, and now, is the right to have our future decided the way the Constitution prescribes it: By we, the people.”

She was able to keep a serious face and did not laugh even once over the irony of her words.

The lawlessness? The left wants to defund the police, impose bail reform that would have violent offenders back out on the street in a revolving door policy, and make armed crimes misdemeanors. 

“The violent assault that took place here, the very fact of how close we came to an election overturned, that reflects the fragility of democracy,” Harris honked.

And if you want an election overturned and have the will of the people destroyed, do what the Democrats are asking for: eliminate voter ID [because minorities and people of color are incapable of getting IDs] and get rid of mail-in voting. 

How many Democrats would be willing to put a thousand dollars in an envelope, address it to themselves, and put it in their local mailbox? The problem with that is no different than mail-in voting.

Washington Examiner’s Jerry Dunleavy explained that Harris’s comparison was “obviously” baseless and he tweeted:

Harris asserted that in order to protect the will of the people, and the right to vote in America, Congress should pass voting rights bills before the Senate. Prior to her bloviating, Senate Majority Leader Chuck "Nostrils" Schumer (D-NY) threatened to change Senate rules if Republicans didn't vote the way he wanted them to, which was to favor that Democratic-favoring legislation.

I would go out on a limb and say that January 6, 2020 was as bad as Watergate, but probably not worse. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, on the other hand, are both worse than Watergate.

"They're coming for the illegal alien patriots"

Not one DREAMer behind her

When a person is 77-years-old, shows lapses in memory and says crazy things, you might think twice before making them your real estate broker or manage your restaurant (if you have one to manage). 

Why then is Nancy Pelosi still a California congresswoman?

Because liberals will vote for anyone who feels the same way they do.

In yet another one of her confused press conferences, Pelosi compared young folks who fall into the "DREAMer" category to the Japanese who were interned by then-President Franklin Delano Roosevelt during World War II.

Roosevelt, of course, was a Democrat, and it was he who made the decision to intern U.S. citizens. DREAMers are not U.S. citizens and, from what one can tell, they aren't being interned by Trump.

"And they came for me, and now they're coming for the DREAMers," she babbled to a crowd of supporters for the proposed legislation to give legal status to illegal immigrants who were brought to the U.S. when they were children.

"It's a honor to be here with the DREAMers [aka future Democrats]," she said, "the DREAMers, who are perpetuating, advancing the American dream with their courage and their optimism and their inspiration, they make America more American."

Yes, the courage their parents had about sneaking into the U.S., hoping not to get caught and then being sent out and told to come here legally like others who wait for their turn.

The optimism the DREAMers have that they will not be told to return to the country of family origin, along with their family who brought them here, and obtain legal status like our Constitution demands and law abiding people respect.

The inspiration for others who want to come here illegally. "If they can do it, so can you," is the only inspiration that comes to mind when you realistically analyze the situation.

Pelosi described an art exhibit she recently attended called "And then they came for me," a title likely inspired by Lutheran Minister Martin Niemöller's (1892-1984) famous quote:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--  Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out--Because I was not a Trade Unionists. 

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--        Because I was not a Jew. 

Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

"[I]t's about the internment of the Japanese-American patriots in our country who were interned into camps during World War II while their family members were fighting for America and for the world in World War II, they were in camps," she said, conveniently leaving out the party affiliation of FDR.

"And they came for me," she opined, "and now they're coming for the DREAMers."

She went on to say that "we owe these DREAMers for their patriotism, for their courage, their optimism to come forward."

But we don't.

In fact, one might say they lack patriotism because they lack respect for our laws. And it wasn't their courage and optimism that got them here in the first place--that credit goes to their parents who had the guts to break the law and the optimism to think they'd get away with it.

"But it's about America too," she continued. "The fight is for who we are as a country, too. They are the manifestation of that fight right now. But we cannot let them come for them."

Pelosi, as you can see, is trying to paint a picture of DREAMers being heroes, and pretends that it's their right to be here. And who we are as a country is that we are supposed to be a country of laws. 

And when the old Democrat says "But we cannot let them come for them," she is attempting to make the Trump administration look like villains when all they're doing is upholding the existing law, a law the Democrats could have changed when they were in power under Obama.

Trump has decided to end the Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals (DACA) but will give Congress 6 months to pass legislation to make the next action a legal one. 

The proverbial ball is in Congress' court.

Pelosi, ever the toady, ended her emetic speech with, "So thank you DREAMers for being stronger than anybody, for being stronger than anybody and for actually taking some risks for your families to keep America a country we take pride in being. Thank you for your patriotism."

Stronger than anybody? Really, Nancy?

There is no easy solution to the DACA situation. Yes, DREAMers are here through the illegal acts of their parents and no fault of their own and shouldn't be punished for it. 

But is it fair to all of the immigrants who came here legally and waited or are still waiting for legal status? 

Of course not--but don't make DREAMers out to be heroes. They have become opportunists and Nancy Pelosi has become senile.

Navy vet gets HS diploma at 90

He dropped out of high school to fight for his country in World War II after persuading his mother to allow him to enlist before he graduated. She agreed to let him go and he never looked back.

Lou Schipper became a US Navy Seabee in the Pacific and last Friday, he got his high school diploma at the tender age of 90.

"I could have become a high school grad sooner," Schipper told The Onion. "The thing was, I wasn't good at algebra so I kept skipping the final exams year after year. But I got disgusted with myself and said, 'Lou, you gotta do it this year. You gotta do it while you're still changing oxygen into carbon dioxide'--I was always good at biology. So I took the exam and boom, I'm a high school graduate . . . finally."

The graduation ceremony was held at a senior living residence in Cincinnati. 

Tony Schad, a representative from St. Xavier, began choking with emotion as he presented Schipper with his long overdue diploma.

"Mr. Louis Schipper, on behalf of your classmates from St. Xavier High School class of 1946, the faculty, staff and administration, I'm happy to officially welcome you to the long blue line, St. X," Schad said.

George Wood was an old classmate of Schipper's and told the school about him. "He was the only freshman in the class who was interviewed with callouses on his hands because that farm boy knew how to do a day's work," Wood told the media.

Dottie Schipper said that Lou was initially reluctant to get his diploma. "He said, 'What the hell do I need with a diploma? I'm 90 years old. Do you want me to get a resume and go to work now?'" she told the paper. "He didn't act like he was really excited, but he was really excited."

After the Navy discharged him, Schipper became an electrician making more money than most liberal arts college grads who majored in Bolivian Transgender Studies and the like. He worked until he was nearly 60.

Now the young 90-year-old would like to go to college and get a degree in "Micro-aggressions and How to Spot Them."

Yeah, sure he would.

Lack of Jobs the Reason ISIS Beheads Folks

War strategist and State Department spokes-cretin Marie Harf has a way to defeat the Islamic State jihadis claiming, "We cannot kill our way out of this war," we need to give Islamic State jihadis a shot at a good job.

Seriously, she said that on MSNBC to Chris "Tingles" Matthews, the guy who goes gaga over Obama, and even he found it difficult to digest. But the truth is, both sides  of the aisle have tried to propagate the bull crap that poverty causes people to become terrorists and paying off Islamic countries will rid the world of terrorism and the radical religious belief that Islam has held dear for 1400 years.

Like it did with the 911 hijackers? Like bin Laden, the hijackers all came from wealthy families and had better educations than most of their countrymen. It wasn't money or jobs.

We tried pumping money into Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan, and see how well that turned out for us. It's about the religion, stupid. These "folks" are fighting for Allah, for their religious beliefs, and not because they want a job parking cars instead of blowing them up.

What other way is there to win a war than to "kill our way out of it?" We did it in WW2 when the Japanese realized our A-Bombs would kill them all. In fact, the A-Bomb saved more lives than it killed because it ended a prolonged and bloody war.

Jihadists aren't saying to themselves, "Gee, if only I had a job, I wouldn't be hacking this Christian's head  off and I could go to Disneyland with my wives and our fifteen children."

It's insulting to anyone who has even a small inkling of what motivates the Islamic State. Marie Harf, like Jonathan Gruber, thinks the American voters are stupid. They happen to be talking about their own party because conservatives haven't bought into their propaganda since Day 1.

Matthews told Harf (rhymes with barf) "if I were ISIS, I wouldn't be afraid right now--nothing we do right now seems to be directed at stopping this," to which the woman who gives blonds a bad name responded: "I think there are a few stages here. Right now what we're doing is trying to take their leaders and their fighters and their fighters off the battlefield in Iraq and in Syria, that's really where they flourish. We're killing a lot of them and we're going to keep killing more of them, so are the Egyptians, so are the Jordanians they're in this fight with us. But we cannot win this war by killing them; we cannot kill our way out of this war. We need, in the longer term, medium and longer term, to go after the root causes that leads people to join these groups, whether it's lack of opportunity for jobs . . . "

ISIS Job Lines

Even Chrissy knew she was trying to blow smoke up his nether regions. He cut her off and said, "we're not going to be able to stop that in our lifetime, or fifty lifetimes. There's always going to be poor people, there's always going to be poor Muslims, and as long as there are poor Muslims, the trumpet's blowing, they'll join. We can't stop that, can we?"

Harf's response was sadly laughable. "We can work with countries around the world to help improve their governance, we can hep them build their economies, so they can have job opportunities for these people. You're right, there is no easy solution in the long-term to preventing and combating violent extremism, bit if we can help countries work at the root causes of this, what makes these 17-year-old kids pick up an AK-47, instead of trying to start a business?" And so on and so forth, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Marie Harf is another example of people who are either ignorant of Islam or willfully deceiving the American public. 

But the public is not as gullible as it once was. According to a recent CNN poll,

most Americans believe Obama is handling the Islamic State as well as he handles a three-point shot from half court at the buzzer. 

Fifty-seven percent disapprove of his handling the ISIS threat, which is a significant decline since late September when it was 49%.

Chesty Puller: a Marine's Marine

"Our country won't go on forever, if we stay soft as we are now. There won't be any America--because some foreign soldiery will invade us and take our women and breed a hardier race." Lewis Burwell "Chesty" Puller

Most Marines only know him as Chesty Puller, or just plain Chesty. He was born June 26, 1898 in West Point, Virginia to Matthew and Martha Puller and his father died when Chesty was ten years old. Chesty was only one of two people, and the only Marine, to be awarded five Navy Crosses; and if you don't know who he was, you were definitely never a member of "Uncle Sam's Misguided Children."

One of Chesty's idols was "Stonewall" Jackson and due to Jackson's war record, Chesty's first instinct was to enlist in the Army to fight the Border War in Mexico in 1916. But he was underage and his mother refused to give her parental consent.

Of course that changed the following year when Chesty attended Virginia Military Institute. He planned to go into the Corps as an officer, but left the following year to fight in World War One. He wanted to "go where the guns are." So he enlisted in the Marines after becoming inspired by the 5th Marines at Belleau Wood, one of the bloodiest battles in the war--a battle where the first Congressional Medal of Honor was awarded to then Gunnery Sergeant Ernest A. Janson.

Chesty went to boot camp at the United States Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. (If you were an enlisted man, you might have referred to that great state as "Suck Carolina" because the sand fleas were unforgiving and if you killed one as it munched on your ear as you stood at attention in front of the Mess Hall, you would have to bury it in a hole 6'x6'x6'. Officers didn't go to boot camp at PI, but we had our own problems.) 

By the time the Second World War came about, Chesty Puller was a Colonel and led the 1st Marines in the battle on Peleliu, code name "Operation Stalemate II, perhaps the bloodiest battle in all of Marine Corps history. Of his 3000 men who fought on this small coral island in the Pacific, 1749 were lost.

The landing on Peleliu was at 08:32, 15 September, 1944. The 1st Marines landed to the north on "White Beach 1 and 2" and the 5th and 7th Marines to the center on "Orange Beach 1,2, and 3." Chesty's guys were almost immediately bogged down by heavy fire from their left flank and Chesty barely escaped death when a dud artillary round struck his landing craft (LVT).  In all, the Japanese destroyed 60 LVTs and DUKWs with their 47 mm guns and 20 mm canons.

 For his action, Chesty was awarded two Legion of Merits.

Chesty was once again assigned to the 1st Marine Regiment at the outbreak of the Korean War and was at the landing at Inchon on September 15th, 1950. He racked up another Legion of Merit and a Silver Star Medal and the Army awarded him with a Distinguished Service Cross for action from November 29 to December 5th. 

His fifth Navy Cross came during the fighting at the "Frozen Chosin" from December 5-10, 1950 where he made his famous quote: "We've been looking for the enemy for some time now. We've finally found him. We're surrounded. That simplifies things." He might have also been the one to have said: "Great. Now we can shoot at those bastards from every direction."

Another famous Chosin Reservoir quote from Chesty: "Remember, you are the 1st Marines! Not all the Communists in Hell can overrun you!"

In a letter to his wife while fighting in Korea, Chesty wrote of the Air Force: "The mail service has been excellent out here, and in my opinion this is all that the Air Force has accomplished during the war."

I know of one story in Marine Corps lore where a Marine, up on a mountain, was cold and scared during the night. There was a lull in the action and the Marine was worried the enemy was about to attack. (I believe it was in the Second World War but not 100% certain.) 

Chesty saw the young Marine's rifle barrel shaking and went over to his position, stood in front with his back to the Marine, facing out toward the night. "Prop the barrel against my leg to hold it steady," he said, exposing himself to the enemy. "If I see any of them, I`ll let you know and you can shoot the bastard."

They say that kid would have followed Chesty through the gates of hell, but Joe Biden already stole that line.

Finally, I know of one more story where an Army captain asked Chesty for the line of direction of retreat, if things got too dicey. 

Chesty called his Tank Commander and gave him the coordinates of the Army troops the Captain was referring to. Then he told the Tank Commander: "If they start to pull back from that line, even one foot, I want you to open fire on them." 

Chesty then turned to the Captain and said, "Does that answer your question?"

If Chesty were still in command today, I predict there would be beer dispensers in all Marine Corps Mess Halls and, if he were allowed to command the war against ISIS, there would be a lot of dead camel jockeys.

They don't make 'em like that anymore.

Hamas Fires Rockets at Israel, Stuff Hits the Fan

As I write this, Israel is under attack by Hamas, the "religious" Palestinian organization whose main goal is the total destruction of the Jewish state and death to all Jews. The Muslim hatred of the Jews has been going on since Mohammed (peas be up in him) was boffing a 9 year old named Ayisha.

RIght at this moment, I've learned that 40 rockets have been fired by the jihadists (or as Nidal Hassan calls them, the soldiers of Allah) that started about an hour ago. Israelis are still making their way to bomb shelters. 

The rockets themselves are Katyusha rockets first used by the Russians in WW2 and are as accurate as a liberal Power Point demonstration on Benghazi. Thus, so far there have been no deaths reported on the civilized side of the fence as most of them have been stopped by the Israeli defense system known as "The Iron Dome."
