Trump to Iran: Any shots fired by Houthis, "You will be held responsible"

On Monday, President Donald Trump, a man not known for beating around the G.W. Bush, issued a stark warning to Iran—the planet's foremost patron of terror—that any assault by their Houthi proxies in Yemen upon the United States would be regarded as an act emanating directly from Tehran itself.

Just last week, reports emerged that American B-2 stealth bombers—those silent harbingers of precision—descended upon the subterranean arsenals of the Houthis, that wretched band of terrorists who have plagued Yemen and beyond. These are the brigands who, over the past year, have sunk ships and harassed countless others across the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. According to U.S. Central Command, the strikes targeted "hardened underground facilities housing missiles, weapons components, and other munitions used to target military and civilian vessels throughout the region." A clinical operation, one might say, against a festering sore.

"Let nobody be fooled!" thundered Trump on Truth Social, his digital pulpit. "The hundreds of attacks being made by Houthi, the sinister mobsters and thugs based in Yemen, who are hated by the Yemeni people, all emanate from, and are created by, IRAN. Any further attack or retaliation by the ‘Houthis’ will be met with great force, and there is no guarantee that that force will stop there." Here is a leader who sees through the fog of diplomatic niceties to the brutal reality beneath.

"Iran has played ‘the innocent victim’ of rogue terrorists from which they’ve lost control, but they haven’t lost control," he continued, peeling back the layers of Tehran's deceit. "They’re dictating every move, giving them the weapons, supplying them with money and highly sophisticated Military equipment, and even, so-called, ‘Intelligence.’" It is a damning indictment of a regime that cloaks its malevolence in the garb of victimhood.

"Every shot fired by the Houthis will be looked upon, from this point forward, as being a shot fired from the weapons and leadership of IRAN, and IRAN will be held responsible, and suffer the consequences, and those consequences will be dire!" Trump concluded. One can almost hear the drumbeat of retribution in his words, a promise that the United States will no longer tolerate the proxy games of a theocratic tyranny.

Meanwhile, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth—a man forged in the crucible of war—vowed over the weekend that American forces would continue to hammer these Iranian-backed marauders until they renounce their campaign against the arteries of global commerce and the sentinels of Western power. Speaking to Maria Bartiromo on Fox News, he reflected on Saturday’s strikes, which left dozens of terrorists dead. "We’re sitting on four years of deferred maintenance from Joe Biden," he remarked, "where in particular, when you talk about the Houthis, they were allowed for over 100 times to shoot at U.S. ships, to shoot at commercial shipping."

"Four months ago, when we sent a ship through, it was shot at 17 times," he added, laying bare the cost of prior inaction. "Ships haven’t been able to go through for over a year without being shot at. Freedom of navigation is basic. It’s a core national interest, and President Trump has said, we will restore that and we will be unrelenting." Here is a doctrine of resolve, a refusal to let the lawless dictate the terms of the civilized world.

Hegseth’s repeated admonition to Iran—that it had better steer clear of this righteous reckoning—serves as a chilling coda. The message is clear: the United States, under Trump’s unyielding gaze, will not flinch. The Houthis may be the pawns, but Iran holds the strings—and the puppet master will not escape the consequences of its sinister dance.

Well, folks, President Donald Trump—our fearless dealmaker-in-chief—decided Saturday was the perfect day to drop some serious American thunder on Yemen’s capital, Sanaa. The Commander-in-Chief unleashed a storm of airstrikes like a golden-haired Zeus, promising to pound those Iranian-backed Houthi clowns with “overwhelming lethal force” until they stop playing pirate with ships in one of the world’s busiest maritime chokeholds. 

And let me tell you, it’s about time someone with guts took the wheel. The Houthis? They’re whining in Arabic—shocker—claiming nine civilians got caught in the mess.

Look, I’m not saying it’s perfect, but damn if it ain’t a helluva start.

“Our brave Warfighters are right now carrying out aerial attacks on the terrorists’ bases, leaders, and missile defenses to protect American shipping, air, and naval assets, and to restore Navigational Freedom,” Trump blasted out on social media, channeling his inner Maverick from Top Gun. “No terrorist force will stop American commercial and naval vessels from freely sailing the Waterways of the World.” 

Hell yeah, Don! That’s the kind of swagger we’ve been missing—pure, unfiltered American badassery.

But wait, there’s more! Trump didn’t just flex on the Houthis—he spun around and gave Iran a big, brassy “you’re next” wink. Cut the strings on your Houthi puppets, Tehran, or get ready to dance, because our man’s promising to hold them “fully accountable.” 

This guy’s playing 4D chess while everyone else is stuck on checkers. Just two weeks ago, he dangled a carrot of nuclear talks in a letter to Iran—classy move, right?—but don’t get it twisted: he’s made it crystal clear those nuke dreams are staying in the fantasy aisle.

Over in Houthi-ville, Saturday night turned into an unsolicited fireworks extravaganza. Explosions lit up Sanaa like the Fourth of July, and photos [see below] online showed black smoke billowing over the airport complex—a rat’s nest that doubles as their military playground. 

Anees al-Asbahi, the Houthis’ health ministry mouthpiece, ran to social media crying about nine dead and nine more roughed up. Drama queen much? 

The Houthis, though, are still strutting like they’ve got something to prove. 

Nasruddin Amer, their media deputy, puffed out his chest online: “Sanaa will remain Gaza’s shield and support and will not abandon it no matter the challenges.” Cute. This bravado’s fresh off their threat to start smacking Israeli ships again over Gaza’s blockade. Spoiler: they’ve done squat so far. Big talk, no walk.

Speaking of Gaza, Israel’s been laying down the law, slamming the brakes on aid this month and hinting at “additional consequences” for Hamas if their shaky ceasefire flops. 

Meanwhile, the Houthis have been itching to turn the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and Arabian Sea into their personal Call of Duty map. Their resume? Over 100 merchant ships blasted with missiles and drones since the Israel-Hamas war popped off in late 2023—sinking two, killing four sailors. They were on a tear until January’s ceasefire hit the pause button. Barely.

Back in Yemen, the Houthis are juggling a dumpster-fire economy and stomping on anyone who dares gripe, all while their civil war keeps the country in the toilet. 

Their media crew claimed Trump’s strikes flattened “a residential neighborhood” in Sanaa’s northern Shouab district. Locals said four blasts rocked Eastern Geraf, with women and kids screaming in the chaos. “The explosions were very strong,” Abdallah al-Alffi said. “It was like an earthquake.” No kidding, Alffi—Trump doesn’t mess around.

The U.S., Israel, and Britain have all taken swings at these jokers before, but Israel stayed mum this time. A U.S. official said Saturday was a solo American gig—no coalition wingmen needed. We're not talking about Holder and Obama now kids.

It’s Trump’s first Houthi beatdown of his second term, shattering a rare quiet spell in the region. Biden used to okay these missile barrages when the Houthis got too rowdy, but Trump? He’s running the playbook like a champ.

The USS Harry S. Truman carrier strike group—carrier, three destroyers, and a cruiser—was flexing in the Red Sea, with the USS Georgia, a cruise missile sub, lurking nearby like a silent assassin. And where’s our fearless leader? Calling the shots from his West Palm Beach golf club, naturally—because Trump’s the kind of guy who can save the world and sink a putt in the same afternoon.

“These relentless assaults have cost the U.S. and World Economy many BILLIONS of Dollars while, at the same time, putting innocent lives at risk,” he vented online. Preach, Don! The man’s got the vision to see the big picture and the cojones to fix it. Who else could pull this off? Nobody, that’s who.

U.S. Navy pokes out the "eyes" of the Houthis

The United States Navy has finally responded to the ongoing attacks by the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen. Their attacks against foreign ships, after doing nothing about it for months, has finally changed.

The Navy struck Houthi rebel radar sites after a merchant sailor and boat went missing in the Red Sea early last week. So far, the U.S. strikes wiped out seven radar sites within Houthi territory, according to Central Command (CENTCOM). The Associated Press (AP) reported that the NAVY did not elaborate on how the sites were destroyed and did not immediately respond to questions so as not to give away the store.

In another instance, two drone boats in the Red Sea that held bombs were destroyed, along with a drone that was launched above the waters from the Houthi terrorists.

CENTCOM reported that a commercial sailor from the Liberian-flagged and Greek-owned cargo carrier Tutor has been missing since Wednesday, after the Houthis used a drone with a bomb on it to strike the boat. In this incident, the crew had to abandon ship and were subsequently rescued by the USS Philippine Sea along with partner forces. but the Tutor remains in the Red Sea and is “taking on water,” the agency said, the AP reports.

This comes after a mid-May attack by the Houthis on a foreign oil tanker in the Red Sea, just after alleged President Biden's staff covertly met with Iran and begged them to get the terrorists to cut it out already. What a bad taste that leaves in one's mouth.

However, it looks as if the U.S. is finally making a move to stop the aggression, perhaps due to the impending presidential election and an effort to make Joe Biden look as if he's sentient. 

Of course we should remember that just this past April, the Biden special envoy to Yemen was kicking around the idea of removing the terrorists from the terrorist watch list designation. The Biden administration also thought of changing the military's orders to attack the Houthi's military capabilities, proving to the world just how impaired our so-called leader is.

U.S, troops at Syrian base hit by deadly drone attack

Six Kurdish soldiers were killed late Sunday at a base in eastern Syria where U.S. troops are stationed. The drone attack targeted a training ground at al-Omar base in Syria's eastern province of Deir el-Zour, the U.S.-backed Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the attack struck an area where the forces' commando units were being trained. No U.S. troops were killed or injured in the attack, they said.

This was the first attack in Syria or Iraq since the Biden administration launched a perfunctory response over the weekend against Iran-backed militias. Assaults on U.S. troops and civilians in the region has been going on since the outbreak of the October 7 Israel-Hamasshole war.

The SDF initially blamed "Syrian regime-backed mercenaries" for Sunday's attack, but after investigating the attack, they accused "Iran-backed militias." These militias aren't too worried that the U.S. will do anything too untoward in response because Biden has mumbled it nearly clear that he doesn't want to start a war and that his son died in both Iraq and Normandy, in 2014 and 1918 respectively.

The Islamic Resistance, an oxymoronically named [they're not resisting anyone, they're initiating the conflict] umbrella group of all Iran-backed Iraqi militias, claimed responsibility for the Sunday attack and released a video they claim showed them launching the drone used in the attack.

U.S. Central Command forces said Sunday they conducted a "self-defense" strike against a Houthi land attack cruise missile at approximately 5:30 a.m. Sanaa time. CENTCOM forces have their hands tied because the Biden administration will not meet aggression with a powerful response.

[Symbolically, if the Houthis was the guy on the beach who kicks sand in the face of the U.S., the latter would respond immediately with, "Please cut that out. You kicked sand in my face."]

Later, at approximately 10:30 a.m., U.S. forces struck four anti-ship cruise missiles in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, which they determined "presented an imminent threat to U.S. Navy ships and merchant vessels" in the Red Sea. The anti-ship missiles died in complete agony and promised never to blow up our vessels again.

Sunday’s strikes also came a day after the U.S. and U.K. launched a wave of strikes against 36 Houthi targets, meant to degrade their capabilities and tell them in no uncertain terms, "Hey, there you go again, kicking sand in our faces."

Houthi rebels rolled their shoulders, grabbed their nutsacks and vowed "escalation" in reaction to the strikes, with a spokesman for the group vowing to continue its own attacks "no matter the sacrifices it costs us."

U.S. hits back at the Houthies anti-ship missile attack: CENTCOM

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said the military conducted retaliatory, self-defense strikes against the Houthis in Yemen. The target was a Houthi anti-ship missile aimed into the Red Sea early Saturday morning. 

The U.S. strike was labeled "self-defense," but perhaps it's time for the world's most powerful military to put a stop to this Houthi bluster and end them once and for all. But Joe Biden is still President so we're going to have to wait.

"On Jan. 27 at approximately 3:45 a.m. (Sanaa time), U.S. Central Command Forces conducted a strike against a Houthi anti-ship missile aimed into the Red Sea and which was prepared to launch," CENTCOM said in a statement.

Some fought, some died, some were just on their way to the dentist

"U.S. Forces identified the missile in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, and determined it presented an imminent threat to merchant vessels and the U.S. Navy ships in the region," the statement continued. "U.S. Forces subsequently struck and destroyed the missile in self-defense. This action will protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for U.S. Navy vessels and merchant vessels."

Meanwhile the world blames Israel for their preemptive self-defense strikes against Iran for their genocidal ambitions. 

This latest U.S. effort comes after the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists fired an anti-ship ballistic missile from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen and struck the Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker M/V Marlin Luanda at about 7:45 p.m. Friday night Sanaa time, CENTCOM said. The ship made a distress call and reported damage but no injuries were reported, this time.

The attack against the Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker is the 38th attack by the Houthis since November 19 and the second attack on Friday. 

Hey guys, it's time for the U.S. to get the party started. This cannot go on much longer before an American gets hurt or killed.

Houthis pounce--U.S. Navy's Rear Adm. Rachel Levine issues final 'final warning'

It looks like we really mean it this time if the Houthis don't stop harassing U.S. Navy and commercial vessels in the Red Sea. 

Enough is enough and it's beginning to anger Rear Admiral Rachel Levine [she, he, it] who just may do something evil to Houthis and their blowfish after they launched a drone that came within a "couple of miles" of naval ships and commercials vessels before exploding, causing Rear Admiral Levine to emit a loud shriek when he heard it on the video replay. 

"I have simply had it up to here," Levine said, gesturing with his hand to his Adam's apple. "If I told them once, I told them a thousand times, 'do not fly your nasty drones near our brave men in uniform, because if you do, this will make me very angry.' Well, it has reached  point where I'm not going to take it anymore. They're not listening and I think I even saw one of them laughing at me. We have too many good men whose lives are at risk from these drones. Too many good men, and I must confess, too many good-looking men, and they must be protected."

Vice Admiral Brad Cooper, the head of U.S. Navy operations in the Middle East, said it was the first time the Houthis had used an unmanned surface vessel, or USV, since their harassment of commercial ships in the Red Sea began after the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war. They have, however, used them in years past and are likely to use them again "if Rear Admiral Rachel Levine doesn't sashay in and do something about it."

Most of the Houthis' USVs look like they came from IKEA, but more likely they're assembled in Yemen with Iranian computerized guidance systems.

US shoots down ballistic missiles in Red Sea, kill gunmen in Houthi rebel attack

US military shot down a pair of anti-ship ballistic missiles fired at a container ship in the Red Sea by Yemen’s Houthi rebels. Following that just several hours later, four boats tried to attack the same ship but US forces were on the job and opened fire. Several of the armed wayfaring scumcrumpets were sent to Jannah where their virgins awaited, and nobody on the infidel ship was injured because Allah obviously works in strange ways.

The Singapore-flagged MAERSK HANZGHOU had been hit by a missile on Saturday while trying to cross the Southern Red Sea and called for help, CENTCOM said. The USS GRAVELY and USS LABOON came to the rescue and the vessel was reportedly seaworthy.

“This is the 23rd illegal attack by the Houthis on international shipping since Nov. 19,” CENTCOM said, sounding kind of miffed. 

In another statement, CENTCOM said the same ship issued an additional distress call about a second attack “by four Iranian-backed Houthi small boats.” 

The Houthis, without the help of the blowfish, fired small arms weapons at the MAERSK HANZGHOU, getting to within about 65 feet of the vessel, and attempted to board it, CENTCOM said.

A contract-embarked security team on the ship returned fire and U.S. helicopters from the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier and GRAVELY responded to the distress call and while issuing verbal warnings to the Houthi attackers, the small boat crews stupidly opened fire on the helicopters using small arms, the statement said. It was a Houthi suicide mission and suicide it was.

“The U.S. Navy helicopters returned fire in self-defense,” because heaven forfend they preemptively blow them out of the water before they hurt somebody. The choppers sank three of the four boats, which is 75% of the boats, for those doing the math. The crews of the three were killed and the fourth boat fled like they were heading to a giveaway of child brides. There was no damage to the US personnel or equipment, and not one officer even broke a nail.

The Iran-backed Houthis have claimed attacks on ships in the Red Sea that they say are either linked to those, you know, Jews in Israel or heading to Israeli ports. They say their attacks aim to end Israel’s air-and-ground offensive targeting the Gaza Strip following the attack by the Palestinian militant group Hamas on October 7th.

DefSec Austin announces strategy regarding Houthis in Red Sea

U.S. Secretary of Defense (LOL) Lloyd Austin announced a new maritime task force on Monday slated to safeguard commercial shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, proving that men can regrow their testicles under the right conditions.

Operation Prosperity Guardian includes the UK, Canada, eh, Bahrain, Italy, France, Norway, Netherlands, Spain and Seychelles.

“The recent escalation in reckless Houthi attacks originating from Yemen threatens the free flow of commerce, endangers innocent mariners, and violates international law,” Austin finally said in a statement. “The Red Sea is a critical waterway that has been essential to freedom of navigation and a major commercial corridor that facilitates international trade.”

Austin said the initiative is "under the under the umbrella of the Combined Maritime Forces and the leadership of its Task Force 153, which focuses on security in the Red Sea."

Since the Oct. 7 Hamassholes massacred over 1,200 innocent Israelis, mostly civilians, the Iran-backed Houthi terrorists and other terrorist groups, have been firing missiles at merchant vessels and attacking ships with drones as well. In some cases, the terrorist boarded ships and hijacked them.

Since the Houthi aggression, BP and Maersk have halted operations in the Red Sea and needed to take significantly longer routes, which increase costs and affect global trade.

Iran’s sleazy Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani warned the US that such a task force will face “extraordinary problems.” But in reality, he's just grabbing his crotch and pretending to be tough. Iran's navy is about as sophisticated as a Pez dispenser. 

“Nobody can make a move in a region where we have predominance,” Ashtiani reportedly told the Iranian Student News Agency.

BREAKING: US Guided Missile Destroyer Shoots Down a Yemen Drone

The USS Thomas Hudner of the Sixth Fleet shot down a drone launched by Yemen on Wednesday in the Red Sea. The ship, a guided missile destroyer was patrolling in the Red Sea when it detected a drone launch and was tracking the drone as it headed straight for the ship with bad intentions. 

When first spotted it wasn't known who launched it, but it is confirmed that it was on course to strike the destroyer while underway. This is the first direct US Naval attack since the dogs of war were loosed. The Navy can't confirm if the drone was carrying a weapon of whether it was even capable of carrying or firing one, but the Captain of the destroyer wasn't about to wait and see.

This recent encounter comes roughly a month after another US destroyer shot down missiles and drones fired out of Yemen as well.

Meanwhile about 


Wednesday night, the Arleigh Burke-class Aegis-equipped guided-missile destroyer USS Carney engaged three cruise missiles and approximately eight drones launched by Iran-backed Houthi terrorists operating in Yemen. The missiles were all destroyed, as were the drones.

This incident also comes after the US lost an MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicle off the coast of Yemen when it was shot down by the Iranian-back Houthi rebels. No American effort was made to recover the drone after it was shot down.

A U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone was shot down in western Yemen on Sunday, officials at U.S. Central Command confirmed to Military Times.

Multiple outlets reported on Sunday that Houthi rebels had claimed they shot down a drone. Images of the wreckage were posted by the rebel faction’s news agency SABA.

Houthi air defense systems brought down the drone in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, SABA claimed.

“We assess that an MQ-9 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle was shot down in western Yemen on Oct. 1, 2017. This incident is under investigation,” said Maj. Earl Brown, a spokesperson for U.S. Central Command.

As noted, this marks the second time that American forces have intercepted and shot down missiles and or drones that have been launched out of Yemen. Israel has also shot down missiles out of Yemen when the Houthi rebel group launched a medium-range ballistic missile at an unknown target. Israel used their Arrow anti-ballistic missile defense system to shoot down the missile's re-entry vehicle while still in space.
