Dem Gov of sanctuary state calls in Nat'l Guard to deal with what they originally promised

The Massachusetts National Guard has been activated by Democrat Gov. Maura Healey [not to be confused with the British sports car, the Austin Healey, which is a lot cooler in style and has electric overdrive]. The reason the leader of the woke sanctuary state had to make that move was due to reality. See, it's easy to virtue signal that you will provide a safe haven for illegal aliens, despite what their past may be, than it is to actually give them sanctuary.

Healey made the move following an outcry by aid organizations as the hemorrhaging has become a nuisance to these virtuous individuals.

Democrat-run states have been free of the problems of immigration in previous years, but Republicans have made them put their so called money where their mouths are and decided to bus illegal immigrants to "sanctuary" jurisdictions causing the leaders of these communities to remove their collective head from their collective nether regions.

So these blue cities, like New York, are in the process of taking in thousands of illegal aliens, some with serious criminal and terrorism backgrounds, as the border states, such as Texas, are being overwhelmed and overrun by illegal benefits seekers.

Therefore, officials in Massachusetts have activated the national guard to deal with the problems they created with their virtuous words while the need for the virtuous deeds hit the proverbial fan. The overflow has finally pushed the limit--it was totally predictable--as they run hither and thither to find housing for them.

Healey mobilized 250 National Guardsmen on Thursday to help with the transportation of the latest wave of non-taxpayers. Like New York City, there is not sufficient housing or resources to give them all free stuff.

“Right now, the non-profits that are in Massachusetts are stretched and so thin they cannot provide anymore staff,” state Sen. Jamie Eldridge told CBS News.

The number of illegal immigrants in Massachusetts is a minute fraction of what states like Texas and Arizona are currently dealing with, which makes the complaints coming from Democrat officials all the more pathetic and sadly laughable.

And it only took a small bussing campaign to these equally laughable sanctuary cities and states to circle back, do a flip, and never discuss the fact that it was their idea in the first place.

Ah yes, it is truly a case of the chickens coming home to roost.

Of course, none of this changes unless people start voting for better leadership.

California church stabbing suspect deported thrice

A homeless illegal alien accused of fatally stabbing two people at a California church this past weekend had been deported three times. Three times and never handed over to the federal immigration officials before the attack even though he had been arrested and convicted for violent crimes, according to authorities. That's because California is a sanctuary state where you can kill people and generally get away with it.

On Sunday, Fernando De Jesus Lopez-Garcia, 32, a guy with a lot of names and a lot of criminal convictions, allegedly stabbed five people inside the Grace Baptist Church in San Jose. A man died at church and a woman later died at a hospital, San Jose Police Chief Edgardo Garcia said Wednesday during a news conference.

This attack and many others could have been avoided had California gone Republican. The lack of cooperation between local police and federal immigration agents due to the Golden State's sanctuary policies is the problem and Gavin Newsom and the mayors of sanctuary cities should be held accountable for every killing perpetrated by illegal aliens.

"Regrettably, politics continues to prevail over public safety, the detainers were ignored, and De Jesus Lopez-Garcia was released to the street," David Jennings, San Francisco ICE Enforcement Removal Operations field office director said.

Lopez-Garcia os charged with two counts of murder, three counts of attempted murder, battery on a spouse or cohabitant and violating a protective order.

"On three prior occasions, Lopez had been deported and then ultimately returned to the United States," the police chief, said, leaving out the Garcia part of the scumcrumpet's name.

The alleged killer had been deported three times and detainer requests lodged by immigration officials were ignored in spite of his extensive criminal history.

The church where the attacks took place frequently provided shelter and meals to homeless people in the area, officials said. Lopez-Garcia had used its services in the past and sometimes worked with church staff to set up services, officials said.

Four of the stabbing victims were homeless and another was a city employee and volunteer working at the church. The names of the victims will not be released, the police chief said.

Lopez-Garcia's criminal history includes convictions for disturbing the peace, giving false information to police, resisting arrest and assault with a deadly weapon, which resulted in a two-year prison sentence.

At the time of the stabbing Garcia-Lopez had a pending misdemeanor domestic violence charge in Santa Clara County that stemmed from a June arrest. He was granted supervised release, which was revoked after failing to appear in court.

The release was over the objection of the Santa Clara District Attorney's Office. At the time of his June arrest, Lopez-Garcia, a Mexican citizen, was on probation for a felony domestic violence conviction in a nearby county, officials said.

People are reacting by leaving California in droves. The taxes are among the highest in the country and rioters get more respect than Trump supporters and to put icing on the cake, sanctuary cities are dangerous.

Illegal alien child rapist released from jail by Maryland sanctuary county still at large

The political operatives of a sanctuary county in Maryland need to be held accountable. Along with offering illegal aliens sanctuary, they keep releasing dangerous criminals from jail in order to shield them from federal law enforcement.

And it's never the lawmakers themselves who are directly affected by the laws they make--it usually the poor and the vulnerable.

The county recently released a scumbag from El Salvador who, with his new-found freedom from the law, raped a seven-yer-old girl multiple times. This was not the child of any officials in Montgomery County, the leftists who freed this piece of scum, because it never is.

So instead of honoring the detainer issued by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), these horrible officials let 56-year-old Rene Ramos-Hernandez go free on bond.

Court documents obtained by a local media outlet say the pedophile reportedly lives illegally in Brentwood “forced unwanted sexual intercourse” with the girl “at least ten times.”

In 2017, the alleged victim came forward to Montgomery County Police and in August 2018, detectives filed for an arrest warrant.

Although it took nearly two years, the police found Ramos-Hernandez last month and he was booked at the Montgomery County Detention Center (MCDC) in Rockville. He was charged with one count of sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of second-degree rape.

The day after he was booked, ICE's Baltimore Field Office lodged a civil immigration detainer against the alleged human scum, an undocumented immigrant from El Salvador.

But on that same day, Montgomery County District Court Judge Zuberi Williams granted Ramos-Hernandez a $30,000 unsecured personal bond. Williams tacked on a number of restrictions Ramos-Hernandez was unlikely to abide by, including electronic monitoring and curfew, plus ordered him to have no contact with minors.
On June 23, MCDC called ICE's Law Enforcement Support Center in Vermont around 9:20 a.m. to report that the accused child rapist cum crap-weasel was processing out of jail and would likely be released within an hour.
ICE believed it was not possible to scramble agents to the jail in that timeframe, so, Ramos-Hernandez "walked." He gave a bogus residential address and according to ICE, the 56-year-old douche nozzle remains at large.
Court records note that Ramos-Hernandez is divorced, has one child, and works as a "remodeler." He faces up to only 70 years in prison in the child rape case
The state government must do something about those responsible for making Montgomery County a sanctuary county, and put them on trial for reckless dereliction of their responsibilities to the public. Of course, this will never happen; that isn't how this works.

In a statement issued by ICE, they blast Montgomery County officials for protecting illegal aliens who commit state crimes.

“Montgomery County continues the practice of not honoring lawful ICE detainers and release potential public safety threats back into the community,” said acting Baltimore Field Office Director Francisco Madrigal. “When they refuse to give adequate notification of an impending release to allow a safe transfer of custody, it shows their actions are insincere. ICE believes the best way to protect public safety is for law enforcement to work together.”

This case is an example of a national crisis caused by local governments around the country that offer violent illegal immigrants sanctuary from the law. Under a local-federal partnership known as 287(g), ICE is to be notified of jail inmates in the country illegally so that they can be deported after serving time for state crimes or making bail like the accused rapist in this case.

Unfortunately, there are virtue-signaling liberals who want to make themselves feel righteous and better than those of us who follow the law. These idiots, immune to the outcomes of their decisions, are releasing illegal aliens, whether they have serious convictions such as in this case, or other offenses even including murder, rather than handing them over to federal authorities for removal back to their own wonderful countries.

This is sickening. Truly sickening.

7th illegal alien since July 25th accused of sex crimes in Maryland county

Facial features changed to deny him notoriety
Maryland -- Seven caught and more to come.

A Honduran national here in the United States illegally is being accused of raping his 15-year-old stepdaughter. The alleged sex crime is the seventh such case in the same area in the past 5 weeks.

The 37-year-old scumcrumpet is charged with second-degree rape, sex abuse of a minor, third-degree sex offense and fourth-degree sex offense, according to WJLA.

He should be chemically or physically castrated if found guilty.

The alleged victim spoke to Montgomery County police and claimed that her stepfather sexually assaulted her multiple times between Aug. 16 and Aug. 25. She alleged that she was unable to use the bathroom after one of the assaults because it was "very painful" and left her with a "stinging" feeling.

His 15-year-old stepdaughter!

"Victim A stated that she could not move and [name withheld] was squishing her with his body," detectives reportedly said of the incident. The 200-lb. [name withheld] allegedly kissed her body and even bit her shirt in one incident.

The victim's mother reportedly booted [name withheld] from their home after she discovered the two of them together in a bedroom. The age of consent in Maryland is 16 years old, but the mother believed it was a consensual act fueled by alcohol.

In a statement to WJLA, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told WJLA that [name withheld] was previously deported in April 2017, but re-entered the United States "sometime thereafter."

The alleged POS could face up to 56 years in state prison in convicted on all charges. He also faces up to 20 years in federal prison for re-entering the U.S. having been previously deported, an ICE official told WJLA.

The agency reportedly placed a detainer on the Honduran national and he was put in jail without bond. He faces charges of second-degree rape, third and fourth degree sex offenses, and sex abuse of a minor.

Since July 25, Montgomery County Police have arrested at least seven confirmed undocumented immigrants for alleged rapes and sexual assaults. Montgomery County Executive and virtue-signaller, Marc Elrich, signed an executive order last month designating the county a "sanctuary" jurisdiction.

The order states that no county agency – including police departments – can cooperate with ICE. Immigration agents are barred from entering secure portions of county jails, and must take custody of illegal immigrants in public areas, such as jail parking lots.

That seems unconstitutional, but I'm not a lawyer.

Earlier this month, an illegal alien was arrested on second-degree rape and assault charges but was released days later after the Montgomery County Jail ignored ICE's detainer request.

Evidently, Marc Elrich isn't worried that this illegal alien will rape anyone he knows.

Not all of California agrees with sanctuary cities

Imagine a state law that limits the amount of cooperation they allow between local law enforcement and federal immigration agents. This is what defines a sanctuary city.

It defies logic for any government, local or larger, to protect illegal immigrants who have committed a crime and allow them to go free. It honestly makes no sense whatsoever.

But California never refused to defy logic, especially if by doing so, they defy the federal government, and especially if the president is Donald J. Trump.

Believe it or not, one California town wants to exempt itself from sanctuary city law and is taking a stand against the state law that limits cooperation with ICE.

The City of Los Alamitos is voting on an ordinance to exempt it from the sanctuary city law that council members say conflicts with federal law and a little old document known as the U.S. Constitution. Members of the council say the state law "may be in direct conflict with federal laws and the Constitution" along with the oath (aka sworn promise) they took in taking office.

According to the ordinance, the council "finds that it is impossible to honor our oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States."

The ordinance to exempt comes after U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions said the Justice Department was filing a lawsuit against California over three pieces of legislation that clash with federal immigration policy.

Los Alamitos council members agree with Sessions, who argued the laws are not only unconstitutional, but also a "plain violation of federal statute and common sense."

It's as if most of California has a teenage, angry and defiant personality, but a few small areas may be coming to their senses.

Illegal alien found guilty in murder of family of 5

San Francisco -- An illegal immigrant from Vietnam (aka "The Nam") faces  life with "three 'hots' and a cot" in prison after being convicted Monday in the 2012 killing of a family of five after losing money gambling earlier in the evening. He used a hammer to kill the family and San Francisco lawmakers are considering tougher hammer registration laws.

Binh Thai Luc (who is now out of luck) was supposed to be deported in 2006 due to his violent history, but the bleeding heart liberals of the sanctuary city of San Francisco, gave him sanctuary in their city.

Luc was also found guilty of five counts of attempted robbery and two counts of burglary.

Luc was down on his luck and was in debt and served with an eviction notice. He killed the entire family with the hammer during a robbery after losing money at a casino on March 23, 2012.

Luc had over $6,500 on him when he was arrested. The jury was told that Luc settled his debts after the killings because he's such an upstanding guy in the eyes of San Francisco politicians.

Although there were no eyewitnesses to Luc's brutal killings, investigators said blood from one of the dead was spattered on the illegal alien's jeans and Luc's blood was found on a pack of cigarettes, a receipt and a cabinet drawer.

The human piece of trash spend ten years in prison for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon for the 1996 robbery of a Chinese restaurant. He was ordered to be deported back to The Nam after his release, but the Vietnamese government, along with their communist efficiency, did not provide the proper documents.

So U.S. federal immigration authorities did the next best thing to protect the American public: they released Luc back into the community in 2006, and he went six years without so much as killing one person.

What a guy!

The defense argued that someone else murdered the family, possibly a Chinatown gangster, maybe an ex-boyfriend of one of the victims, or maybe even Donald Trump Jr., but not a great guy like Luc.

"He's an undocumented Vietnamese man who served his time. Now it's time to move on," said some liberal idiot who asked to remain autonomous because his vocabulary sucks.

ICE to Brown: 'No choice' but to arrest illegal aliens

Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) top official, Thomas Homan, said in a statement that the agency has "no choice" but to arrest illegal immigrants in California's worksites and neighborhoods despite newly signed illegal sanctuary city legislation.

Those who get arrested will probably be placed in out-of-state detention centers.

Homan's statement came one day after "Governor Moonbeam" Jerry Brown (Duh--Calif.) signed bill SB54, a sanctuary state legislation.

The bill goes into effect on January 1st and bans police from asking people about their immigration status or participating in federal immigration enforcement activities that make our nation sovereign.

Jail officials would only be permitted to transfer inmates to federal immigration authorities if they've been convicted of certain crimes--other criminals convicted of crimes not on the list will be permitted to stay and vote Democrat.

Homan said the bill protects illegal immigrants from lawful deportation and makes California a "magnet."

"Ultimately, SB54 helps shield removable aliens from immigration enforcement and creates another magnet for more illegal immigration, all at the expense of the safety and security of the very people it purports to protect," Homan said.

Brown noted the bill doesn't prevent ICE from operating in California. His office declined to comment further on Homan's statement.

"They are free to use their own considerable resources to enforce federal immigration law in California," Moonbeam wrote, but said the law does prevent the "commandeering of local officials" to do immigration work.

Evidently, Brown is not a team player and, as a kid, was never chosen for a side in any schoolyard games.

"These are uncertain times for undocumented Californians [and future Democratic voters] and their families, and this bill strikes a balance that will protect public safety while bringing a measure of comfort to those families who [don't legally belong in the U.S. and] are living in fear every day [because they broke the law]," Brown said.

Democratic Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de Leon, who carried the bill, said Homan's statement "exemplifies the fear mongering and lies that guide this Administration."

The fear mongering may have started in 2015 when Kate Steinle, a San Francisco woman, was fatally shot at a pier by a Mexican national who had been deported five times. A law known as "Kate's Law" was passed this June which would increase penalties for deported aliens who try to reenter the United States.

Conservatives believe Homan's statement exemplifies a respect for the law and going about the process of citizenship the proper, legal way. Many legal immigrants believe that it's unfair that these people circumvent the system after they themselves have abided by the law.
Kate Steinle and her killer

Democratic California lawmakers have created barriers to President Trump's campaign pledge to bolster deportation of illegal aliens. There's no doubt that this would not be the case if illegal aliens would vote for the GOP in the future.

California is sanctuary to about 2.3 million illegal aliens who, if deported, would create openings for about 2.3 million jobs.

President Trump has threatened to withhold federal money to sanctuary cities, which in turn, have filed lawsuits to prevent that from happening.

Hopefully they won't have it both ways.

NYPD breaks protocol by doing the right thing

The New York Daily News reported that the NYPD has alerted federal immigration agents to Criminal Court appearances of illegal immigrants facing deportation. How horrible for those poor illegal immigrants who have broken the law (beside the law of coming here illegally in the first place) that they might have to leave the country and return to their own place of citizenship.

It's simply dreadful.

New York currently only complies with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) "detainer" orders to hold a defendant until federal agents can take custody only in cases involving violent or serious felonies.

But when the NYPD verifies a warrant against a defendant, they will contact relevant law enforcement, including ICE, thus alerting the agency to an illegal immigrant's pending appearance in a city courtroom.

Those poor, poor felons then get taken into custody and are sent packing, sans weapons.

Leftist advocates say this practice amounts to "collusion" with immigration officials that goes against leftist mayor de Blasio's vow that the city will remain a place where even a felon can get a break.

But rather than calling it "collusion," I prefer to call it "coordination." I prefer to call the reason for this coordination "law and order."

De Blasio is one of the worst mayors the city has even had; the other was David Dinkins.

Calling them sanctuary cities sounds noble, almost religiously so.

On March 2nd, and NYPD administrative aide noted in the Central Booking system that he "notified ICE" about the arrest of David Gonzalez, 51, a felon who reentered the U.S. after being deported and faced misdemeanor charges of allegedly rubbing up against a woman on the NYC subway.

On March 15th, the same aide noted that he was "awaiting a call from local ICE office" regarding Milton Chimborzo, 35, who was facing burglary charges and had a standing deportation order.

In both cases, it was shown that the city didn't comply with ICE "detainer" orders, but instead, ICE agents simply showed up in court.

Federal immigration agents showed up in NYC courts and ICE took Gonzalez into custody after a judge released him. He was awaiting deportation last week. ICE chose not to arrest Chimborazo for reasons that are unclear.

"I think it really is outrageous," said Lori Zeno, deputy director of Queens Law Associates. "We're supposed to be a sanctuary city. What does it mean if our own court system is participating in turning folks in to ICE?"

It means that the people turning in illegal criminal aliens believe the U.S. Constitution outweighs libtard beliefs.

How could you not love New Yawk's Finest?

AG Sessions warns 'dangerous' sanctuary cities

Attorney General Jeff Sessions spoke at the White House briefing today and launched into the issue of sanctuary cities. He told reporters the noncooperation of sanctuary cities with immigration authorities is "dangerous" and will cost them in federal funding.

This is the Trump administration's strongest warning thus far as Sessions made it clear that federal law allows withholding of federal money to sanctuary cities and the administration will take that step.

"Such policies cannot continues," Session said. "They make our nation less safe by putting dangerous criminals back on the street."

Although the term 'sanctuary cities' is not technically true, it refers to communities that refuse to work in conjunction with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials after detaining illegal immigrants who have broken the law. Federal law requires communities to inform the federal authorities when they have an illegal alien in custody, even if not convicted of a crime.

Liberal cities run by politicians who are not personally affected by illegal immigrant crime, such as New York, LA, and Chicago, along with a host of smaller counties, cities and towns, also refuse to notify ICE, who can then take custody of the illegal immigrant and possibly deport him or her back to the country of their origin.

"The American people know that when cities and states refuse to help enforce immigration laws, our nation is less safe," Sessions said, and gave Kate Steinle, the young woman killed by an illegal alien when walking with her father. The illegal alien had been deported five times with seven felonies. He was released from custody by local authorities just eleven weeks before shooting Ms. Steinle to death.

Sessions said that communities applying for DoJ grants will be required to show they are following immigration law.

Gee, that's a novel idea.

Immigration raids at the Big Apple

An immigration advocacy group called Make the Road New York, said that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) sweeps on Staten Island has netted five illegal immigrants from Mexico in the past week and a half. The raids began on February 2nd and continued on the 3rd, 5th and 8th of the month.

All five individuals who were apprehended by ICE were male and four of them have children who were born in the U.S., the group reported.

Make the Road (not to be confused with the anarchist group known as 'Make on the Road') believes several of the lawbreakers are in New Jersey detention centers for illegally coming into a sovereign country.

"What we've seen is that the incidents in Staten Island are consistent with what we've seen in the surge of ICE activity in the last week," Theo Oshiro, deputy director of Make the Road New York said, referring to the notion that the current administration actually stands behind the U.S. Constitution and ICE officials are now doing the job they've been hired to do.

Hundreds of illegal immigrants have been arrested in at least six states this past week for violating the sovereignty of the U.S. and pursuant to a Trump executive order signed in January.

The category of undocumented immigrants lacking proper paperwork has been expanded. Not merely focusing on illegal immigrants with violent criminal records, as the Obama administration did, ICE now has a mandate to nab illegal immigrants if they've ever been accused of any crime, even "where such charge has not been resolved."

The president has also signed executive orders calling for the construction of THE WALL on the Mexican border and to cut federal funding for sanctuary cities that offer safe haven to undocumented immigrants, including those with criminal backgrounds.

Carlos Vargas, of the Make the Road New York's legal services team said that in one case, two plainclothes officers approached a "hardworking" father at 5:30 a.m., showed him a few photos of other people for whom they were looking, and then arrested him. The "hardworking" illegal immigrant's arrest will now provide the opportunity for a "hardworking" legal U.S. resident to have a job.

"We do not know," Oshiro said regarding the question as to whether the individuals have criminal records. "What we do know is that the raids tear families apart and have a huge and negative impact on communities regardless of criminal records."

But not knowing about criminal records is inexcusable.

Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, the illegal alien who killed Kathryn Steinle, not only had a criminal record, he had been deported five times! He kept returning to San Francisco where he was given 'sanctuary.'

If ICE and other border security officials were allowed to uphold the laws that are on record, Kate Steinle would be alive today.

Immigrants will always be permitted to come to America, but they need to get in line and do it the right way. Ironically, they all come from countries that do exactly what President Trump is finally doing.

Sanctuary sheriff faces firing for aiding criminal aliens

Travis Co., Texas -- Sheriff Sally Hernandez is facing removal from office for refusing to obey Texas Governor Greg Abbott's order to end "sanctuary city" policies in his state, which aid criminal aliens. Note, the operant word here is 'criminal'.

Hernandez has rejected Abbott's request to reverse her refusal to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement except in limited circumstances

Abbott wrote to Hernandez: "First, you claim you have no legal power to comply with ICE detainers. That proves too much, of course, because by your own admission, Travis County Sheriff's Office will honor some ICE detainers, for example when the alien is charged with or convicted of capital murder. You have the exact same legal authority to honor ICE detainers for capital murder cases as you do for other crimes that you personally deem unworthy of enforcement."

Abbott also pointed out the ICE issues detainers for illegal aliens with felony records--including murder.

He added: " .  .  .  Under your reckless policy, for example, dangerous criminal aliens convicted of felonies like murder, aggravated assault, human trafficking, including child sex trafficking, aggravated kidnapping, including sexual performance by a child or indecency with a child, dangerous gang activities . . . "

Hernandez's non sequitur said that honoring the detainers would make the "community less safe by driving people into the shadows." In other words, by allowing felons and the rest to have sanctuary, we can know where they are when they have a child become a prostitute. And as long as the child isn't murdered, we're all good.

Hernandez contends that state law enforcement can't constitutionally be drafted into service by federal agencies, which is a straw man argument, or a distortion of what Abbott is arguing about.

Abbott is interested in letting ICE remove illegals from the streets who were already arrested by Texas officials for committing serious crimes, not simply reporting them.

Gov. Abbott said "For one, these sheriff offices receive grants from the governor's office and we're cutting off those grants to any sanctuary city in the State of Texas," adding . . .  however, we are in a legislative session and we're working on laws that will #1 ban sanctuary cities and #2 remove from office any office holder who promotes sanctuary cities while also imposing criminal penalties as well as financial penalties."

It seems as if Sally Hernandez is following Obama's lead and only upholding those laws or parts of those laws that she likes.

Not nice!

Chicago defies Trump: will remain sanctuary city

Chicago-Ill -- The city of Chicago is pledging to remain a sanctuary city to protect undocumented immigrants from having to worry about the law. The law will apparently apply only to actual citizens. Symbolically, this is Chicago "flipping the bird" to President-elect Donald Trump.

Trump has promised to cut off federal funding from all sanctuary cities where local law enforcement isn't required to alert U.S. Immigration and Customs authorities about the immigration status of illegal aliens.

This makes perfect sense to the left seeing as how they believe they're doing the Lord's work, even when these illegal immigrants break the law and sometimes people die.

On Monday, the city's elected officials, including Mayor Rahm Emanuel, are scheduled to hold a news conference to formally discuss how they plan to retain their sanctuary status. Aldermen are expected to call on Republican Governor Bruce Rauner to pressure Trump to go back on his promise to cut off funding.

"Across the country and in Chicago and Illinois . . . young men and women [are] very distraught about this," Chicago Alderman Danny Solis told POLITICO Illinois on Sunday.

Solis, who doesn't have a lot of respect for anyone who doesn't think exactly his way said, "There's some people, thought I disagree with them, but I have some respect for--Paul Ryan, Reince Priebus. I'm hoping that those guys have much more influence on Trump and what needs to be done not only on his first 100 days, but in his term."

Illinois Comptroller-elect Susana Mendoza, whose parents are legal Mexican immigrants and didn't have to compete with illegal Mexican immigrants for her job, called on Rauner to take a stand on the issue.

Mendoza doesn't think losing federal funding is a good idea for Chicago. "As a leader of this state, the governor, and everyone in a leadership position, should be saying it's wrong," she said. "I would expect that the governor would say, 'that's ridiculous.' Besides moral bankruptcy, it's bad fiscal policy for the city or any city."

Emanuel said in a statement: "I want to assure all of our families that Chicago is and will remain a sanctuary city. Chicago has been a city of immigrants since it was founded. We have always welcomed people of all faiths and backgrounds [including felons and potential terrorists] and while the administration will change, our values and our commitment to inclusion will not."

They call it 'inclusion' if those they're including vote Democratic.

As it now stands, other cities have affirmed their commitment to remaining illegal sanctuary cities: New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Philadelphia, and San Francisco [where Kate Steinle was killed by an illegal alien].

In a "60 Minutes" interview, Trump promised to immediately deport 2 to 3 million undocumented immigrants, and has yet to comment on unlicensed pharmacists (aka drug dealers).

Afghan terrorists by way of Mexico--the secret is out

Sanctuary cities. People flooding into the US through Mexico and are being allowed to stay. ICE told to stand off. Illegal aliens not being deported. Some illegal aliens committing violent crimes.

This administration is totally uncaring about our security. They call those of us who want better policing of our borders and getting illegals to wait their turn racists. That has always been their 'go-to' word.

Now it has been learned that an Afghan national with Taliban ties (Obama pronounces it "Tahleebahn" as if he's a card-carrying member) was caught last fall after he was smuggled into the U.S. via Mexico. The guy was plotting a terrorist attack somewhere in North America but it was too politically "hot" to tell us about it so we are just now finding out about it.

The scumcrumpet's alleged terror ties weren't initially flagged in the terrorist database, but this was not reported to us, according to Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) and it was only afterward that officials learned of his associations.

Hunter described the situation to Fox News as a "monumental failure." He added, "We don't know who's coming into the U.S. and what they're bringing with them. It's as bad as it seems."

Duncan's office told Fox News that the Afghan was picked up and detained by U.S. Border Patrol agents about 15 miles inside Arizona from the border. He and five Pakistani citizens and two Mexicans identified as smugglers, were arrested.

So Donald Trump's idea of not allowing Muslims into the country seems a moot point--they're coming in anyway, albeit illegally.

The result of this incident was that all six illegal immigrants from "special interest countries" were cleared by the National Targeting Center. They were initially served with an "Expedited Removal." The Afghan terrorist "sought U.S. immigration benefits, and was processed as having credible fear after he stated his life was in danger," Hunter wrote.

But it turns out this terrorist was identified in a separate database, the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE) as having terror ties.

Hunter wrote that the individual was said to be "involved in a plot to conduct an attack in the U.S. and/or Canada and has family ties to members of the Taliban."

But due to gross incompetence he wasn't initially put on a watch-list, in a separate Terrorist Screening Database, according to the letter.

Luckily, the error was spotted in time, this time, and the An Afghan national with ties to the Taliban — and a plot to carry out a terror attack somewhere in North America — was caught last fall after being smuggled into the U.S. from Mexico, an incident sure to further inflame the debate over national security risks at the border.

The Afghan national’s alleged terror ties were not initially flagged in a terror database – and as a result, not initially reported – when the incident first came to light last November, according to Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., who obtained Homeland Security documents on the incident. It was only later that U.S. officials discovered his associations.

Hunter told Fox News on Friday that the database disconnect represents a “monumental failure.”

“We don’t know who’s coming into the U.S. and what they’re bringing with them,” he told Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.” “It is as bad as it seems.”

The new details were first reported by The Washington Times.

According to information shared with FoxNews.com by Hunter’s office, the Afghan in question was picked up and detained by U.S. Border Patrol agents about 15 miles inside Arizona from the border. He was arrested along with five Pakistani citizens and two Mexicans identified as smugglers.

The Afghan claimed he crossed into the U.S. on Nov. 13, 2015 by crawling under a border fence near Nogales, Ariz. But an initial check in one of the terror databases apparently did not flag him.

As a result, all six illegal immigrants – from what are known as “special interest” countries – were cleared by the National Targeting Center.

According to a letter sent Wednesday from Hunter to Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, all six were initially served with an “Expedited Removal.” The Afghan national “sought U.S. immigration benefits, and was processed as having credible fear after he stated his life was in danger,” Hunter wrote.

However, according to the letter, the individual was in fact identified in a separate database, the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE), as having terror ties.

Hunter wrote that the individual was said to be “involved in a plot to conduct an attack in the U.S. and/or Canada and has family ties to members of the Taliban.”

For an unknown reason, the individual was not initially watch-listed in the separate Terrorist Screening Database, according to the letter – and so these associations were not initially noticed.

Officials apparently noticed the error in time, as the individual remains in U.S. custody in Arizona.

But Hunter said in his letter to Johnson that his understanding is the whereabouts of the other men arrested that day “is unknown.” Hunter asked DHS for additional details.

Hunter also pushed back Friday on the notion that the incident could represent a success since the Afghan national was ultimately apprehended and later flagged.

“You can assume that others have gotten through,” Hunter told Fox News.

The information shared with FoxNews.com showed at least a dozen illegal immigrants from Afghanistan and Pakistan have either made it across the U.S. border or gotten close, dating back to 2014.

The Washington Times reported that the incident last fall involved a Brazilian-based smuggling network.

The Afghan national in question apparently took a complicated route, essentially around the world and then through Latin America, to arrive in Arizona. He told officials he left Afghanistan in 2015 and then traveled from Dubai to Brazil. From there, he moved up through Peru and other South American countries before traveling through Central America.

In August 2015, he was apprehended in Panama but was released when “no derogatory information” on him was found. He continued his journey, crossing into the U.S. in November before being detected, along with his group, by Border Patrol.

The apprehensions were reported at the time.

However, the local reports, based on comments from border officials, also said no “derogatory information” turned up when their names were run through security databases.

“The American people would have had no clue on this if we didn’t get these documents from Homeland Security,” Hunter said Friday.  remains in U.S. custody in Arizona.

Unluckily, the whereabouts of the others involved is unknown.

"You can assume others have gotten through," Hunter told Fox News, and there is information showing that at least a dozen illegal aliens from Afghanistan and Pakistan have either made it across the U.S. border or gotten close, dating back from 2014.
