Illinois former House speaker resigns after his scandal rocked the alleged sleazy Democrat

"How you dewin?" "No, how you dewin?"

Michael Madigan, the Democratic former Illinois House speaker resigned from the state legislature amid an ongoing federal bribery investigation. Madigan was in the state legislature for over fifty years and his salary from the taxpayers was allegedly not enough to keep him honest. Allegedly.

The lawmaker was implicated in an investigation into his ties with Commonwealth Edison, the state's largest utility provider. According to the allegations, the company gave perks worth $1.32 million in exchange for his non-judgmental approval on bills in the state legislature, according to federal investigators.

Madigan lost his speaker position in January after failing to secure crucial backing from his Democratic colleagues who viewed him as a political liability [and friendship is overrated anyway].

Madigan's associate Michael McClain and ComEd CEO Anne Pramaggiore were also charged along with others in November for their involvement in the scheme. McClain served alongside Madigan in the state house in the 1970s and '80s before leaving public service to lobby for ComEd.

Despite the ongoing investigation, Madigan retains his position as chairman of the state's Democratic Party as of Thursday morning because, hey, they're only allegations, in case it wasn't previously mentioned.

Madigan has not yet faced criminal charges but if he does, and is later incarcerated for it, he will not do well in prison.

In a statement upon his departure, Madigan said he was proud of his efforts to work with the private sector, leaving out the allegations that his work with the private sector was sketchy and allegedly criminal.

"Collaborating with leaders in the retail, hospitality, manufacturing, health care, and other industries, we built a partnership with job creators to encourage economic development and address crises in our unemployment insurance and workers' compensation systems," Madigan crowed.

Madigan suspended his reelection campaign for the speakership after he failed to secure the necessary votes from his Democratic colleagues in a party vote last month. He was first elected to the Illinois House of Representatives in 1971 and, other than two years of non-scandalous Republican control, served as speaker since 1983.

Illinois Democrats, like Al Capone and company, are no strangers to crime.

Governor J.B. Pritzker, [aka "Watermelon Head"] a close goomba of Madigan, faces an investigation over a scheme in which he removed toilets from his mansion so that the building would be deemed uninhabitable, letting him earn a $331,000 property tax break. Now the tenants of those buildings are full of it.

Luis Arroyo

Then there's state senator Tommy "Bag-o-Donuts" Cullerton who, in August 2019 was charged by the feds for an embezzlement scheme involving a labor union. [How surprising--unions tend to be so honest--just look at the Teachers' Union and the COVID situation.]

Two months after Tommy caught heat, state representative Luis "The Face" Arroyo faced bribery charges after another state scumcrumpet senator, Terry "The Pigeon" Link, collaborated with the FBI and wore a wire to get the dirt on the plot.

Link pleaded guilty to tax fraud last year for underreporting his 2016 tax filings.

Canada asks Biden to not act like a jerk

Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau along with other Canadian lawmakers are "deeply disturbed" over President Joseph Biden's quick move to undo everything former President Trump has done for no other reason than they hate Donald Trump. In this case, the reference being made is to the Keystone XL pipeline that was green- lighted in 2017 by Trump. [H/T: New York Post]

On a positive note, this has united Canada in their disgust over Biden's brainless decision, but they are trying their best to hide it.

As one of his first mindless acts, Biden rescinded a permit for the pipeline to transport oil from Canada to the Gulf Coast. The pipeline has been controversial and a target by environmental activists and Democrats who would do anything for their votes. The goal is to stop the use of fossil fuels in North America, with the only alternative of getting fossil fuel from Saudi Arabia at significantly higher prices that they dictate.

“While we welcome the President’s commitment to fight climate change, we are disappointed but acknowledge the President’s decision to fulfill his election campaign promise on Keystone XL,” Trudeau said in a statement, according to the New York Post.

“Canada is the single-largest supplier of energy to the United States, contributing to U.S. energy security and economic competitiveness, and supporting thousands of jobs on both sides of the border,” the young, former night club bouncer, and skate board instructor and now Prime Minister continued. “Workers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and across Canada will always have our support.”

Trudeau is also the son of the late former PM Pierre Trudeau, which explains why he was able to be voted into the leadership position.

Alberta Premier [a Premier is akin to our governor position] Jason Kenney said he was “deeply disturbed” by Biden’s decision to stop work on the $8 billion project. Kenney had threatened legal action earlier in the week after reports of Biden’s intent to kill the pipeline surfaced.

“This is a gut punch for the Canadian and Alberta economies. Sadly it is an insult directed at the United States’ most important ally and trading partner,” Kenney said at a news conference, according to Reuters.

TC Energy Corp., an Alberta-based company, announced it had suspended work on the Keystone XL pipeline on Wednesday ahead of Biden’s inauguration and in anticipation of the U.S. president’s revocation of the pipeline’s permit.

The Keystone Pipeline System runs from Alberta, Canada, through North Dakota to refineries in Illinois and Texas. The Keystone XL addition is under construction in Canada and would have carried over 830,000 barrels of crude oil a day from Canada through North Dakota to Nebraska. From Nebraska, existing pipelines would carry the crude to refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast.

This would keep our energy costs low and our energy dependence within our borders. Allowing the Saudis to control our energy supply is not very different than allowing China to control our pharmaceutical supplies.

I hope Biden rethinks his policies, if he's able to really think very much at all.

Dems defend Wuhan wet markets in spite of facts

"How much for the bat balls?"
If President Trump says "left," the left says "right." If Trump says, "Don't eat bats, penguins and skunks," the left says, "You don't know what you're missing. Go for it."

Now an Illinois Democrat, who blames Trump for deaths from the Chinese Communist Wuhan Wet Market Lab Created Coronavirus, defended the Wuhan wet markets. on Monday at a tele-townhall, and totally disregarded the scientific consensus that these markets are petri dishes for deadly diseases.

"I think we need to be careful about laying all the blame on a particular cultural practice in a country that we don't live in," Rep. Sean Casten (D-IL) said as he defended China to his constituents. "These viruses could hop from animals to humans, but you don't shut that down just by shutting down a particular cultural practice that we aren't familiar with."

And with that logic, you don't stop a father from honor killing his daughter for refusing to wear a hijab in public because that's a particular cultural practice that we aren't familiar with.

Casten is an apologist for China and an idiot for Capitol Hill. He has repeatedly accused President Trump of killing Americans by putting out misinformation about the pandemic because he somehow knows virology and the global situation better than Trump's coronavirus team. He has gone so far as to say that the daily briefings on the virus pandemic are "getting people killed," but has not elaborated as to how.

Casten's defense of China's wet markets contradicts a scientific consensus dating back to 2006 that such markets pose a significant public health risk, and it's obvious that he bases his information on the idea that anything that opposes Trump is correct.

While China has restricted the country's scientists from pinpointing the exact origins of the virus, existing evidence suggests that the virus started in a wet market in Wuhan, China, based on "patient zero."

His defense of wet markets also runs counter to the policies advocated by Dr. Anthony Fauci, a world renown doctor on the Trump administration's coronavirus task force.

"[They] should shut down those things right away," Fauci said on April 2, referring to the wet markets. "It just boggles my mind that when we have so many diseases that emanate out of that unusual human-animal interface that we don't just shut it down."

If anyone is putting out false information about the coronavirus, it's Casten and it isn't the first time. In March, Illinois' idiot congressman refused to assign any blame to China for its mishandling of the pandemic, stating that "viruses don't know borders," which actually supports the idea that we should protect ours to keep those with the virus from entering the US illegally.

That kind of logic is reminiscent of CNN's Jim Acosta standing by the border wall in Texas saying that he sees no reason for a wall because look, there's nobody trying to enter.

By disappearing whistleblowers and by refusing to announce the severity of the disease when it was first discovered in China, they made what could have been much more easily contained into a pandemic. Had China responded to the outbreak 3 weeks earlier, there would have been 95 percent fewer cases, according to one study.

The idiot mentioned the avian flu in his defense of wet markets, arguing that the real problem isn't with unregulated markets but the vector animals that transmit the disease to humans, but he neglected to tell his constituents that the 2006 avian flu, and the 2003 SARS outbreak, both originated in Asian wet markets, and restrictions on these markets were called for as early as 2010, according to the South China Morning Post.

Jeanne Ives, the Republican candidate now challenging Casten, criticized the China apologist for offering political cover to China by defending wet markets.

"While we don't know that COVID-19 originated in the wet markets, there is strong evidence that the spread was escalated there. Regardless, everything China does should be suspect and investigated now," an Ives campaign spokesperson said. "And Sean Casten has done nothing but praise and defend them."

The name Casten, in Mandarin, means "one who speaks through lower orifice." Okay, it really doesn't mean that but it should.

The left will always attack the Trump administration on every issue even when it's obviously an impotent attack.

Avowed Nazi POS running on GOP ticket

Mr. Hanky in a hat
Not all a-holes are Nazis but all Nazis are a-holes, which make Arthur Jones one too.
Jones, a proud and avowed anti-Semite is the former leader of the American Nazi Party. Once again, the POS is running for Congress in Illinois and sadly, he won the Republican primary in 2018 for his district, which covers southwestern suburbs of Chicago.

The main reason this POS won was because there were no other candidates running against him, but he actually received about 56,000 individual votes, about on quarter of the vote.

This is the ninth time Jones is running. His platform is telling: deny Israel's right to exit; deny synagogues the right to exist; and Jews are bad so it's okay to beat on them when nobody's looking.

This cycle, however, Jones has a competitor for the GOP nomination, Mike Fricilone, a member of the Republican Party Board. In addition, Catherine O’Shea, a real estate broker, announced her run on Monday, which was the last day to file to enter the primary.

Fricilone told the Sun-Times that he entered the race “to have a credible candidate” from the Republican Party rather than a Nazi POS [my words].

In a statement to the Sun-Times, the Illinois Republican Party chairman Tim Schneider said that the party “vehemently condemns Arthur Jones’ candidacy. His racism and bigotry have no place in our party or American politics. As we did in 2016 and 2018, we will oppose his candidacy in every way possible.”

POS's give political parties a bad name and the GOP is the one party that isn't anti-Semitic, unlike some congresswomen on the left, like Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).

Last year, despite not entering a candidate to run against Jones, the Republican party also denounced his candidacy, saying they were weighing options including supporting an independent candidate or organizing a write-in campaign for the general election.

If Jones is a Nazi, why doesn't he run on the Nazi Party ticket?

Dem Rep. refuses to condemn anti-Semitism by Omar but calls Crenshaw a racist

It's unclear as to whether Rep. Sean Casten (D-IL) is an anti-Semite but it is clear that he refuses to condemn anti-Semite Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) because for him, politics is more important than morals.

On October 5th, Casten told a voter that Omar's anti-Semitic comments about those who support Israel were "horribly inappropriate" but then proceeded to attack Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) for introducing an amendment to prevent illegal immigrants from voting. If Casten's kid was running for third grade class president and the class allowed the second or fourth grade to vote in that election, he would have a cow.

But the Democratic line must be towed and tow it Casten shall.

"The last amendment on the floor that day … came from Dan Crenshaw, the new Republican, the Navy SEAL with the eyepatch," he said, referring to the eye accessory Crenshaw wears to cover the empty orbit he got from an IED in 2012 while serving his country in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan. It was his third deployment and he lost his right eye and needed surgery to save the vision in his left eye. It isn't just that he wears an eyepatch to look cool, as Casten, who never served in the military, would have you believe. [H/T Washington Free Beacon.]

"He came up with an amendment to say, ‘we're going to add a rider on this bill that says that illegals can't vote.' And I sat there and I said, ‘you know what? You're not allowed to vote if you're not a citizen.' … Why are you doing that? The reason you're doing that is because you are a racist. Because you are trying to appeal to people who will vote for you if you stand up and oppose brown people."

Being called a racist by a liberal is their default position when they have nothing in their bag of bullcrap. Crenshaw is a racist like Ilhan Omar is a Sabra.

"That's what we have to stand up to," he added. "This ain't about Ilhan Omar. Did she say some unfortunate things? You bet she did. But you know what? She apologized for it."

If he actually listened to the question, he would know that it was precisely about Omar. It wasn't at all about Dan Crenshaw but that's a strawman argument that the left consistently does when it cannot answer the questions directly.

Omar tweeted in February it was "all about the Benjamins" for pro-Israel politicians and accused the lobbying group AIPAC of paying them off. But when it comes to her "Squad" buddy, Rashida Tlaib, who obviously has a dual loyalty to the Palestinians, she says nothing.

Crenshaw's office told the Washington Free Beacon it appreciated the focus on Crenshaw's "record of protecting Americans' right to vote," but that insults coming from someone who once likened President Donald Trump to Osama bin Laden "won't be taken seriously."

"If Rep. Casten is so deeply offended that our laws prohibit non-citizens from voting in federal elections, then he should be honest with his constituents and let them know how little he values the power of their vote," spokeswoman Kerry Rom said.

Crenshaw's attempt to amend H.R. 1, the "For The People Act of 2019," was defeated, with the vote falling almost completely along party lines.

While running for Congress last year, Casten drew criticism after he bloviated that Trump and bin Laden "have a tremendous amount in common." Casten failed to explain just what the two of them have in common, but it's a sure thing that Trump isn't responsible for killing 3,000 Americans and bin Laden never did anything to bring about historical American job growth for the entire country while reducing unemployment in the black and Hispanic community.

And Casten will never be accused of killing Osama bin Laden.

Illinois electric car owners may be charged $1000 a year under new law

Electric automobile owners in Illinois could take a large hit to their bank accounts after Democratic lawmakers in the state proposed an extreme hike in registration fees for electronic vehicles in the state.

The new proposal would increase the annual registration fee to $1,000, slightly higher than the current $17.50.

Unfair you say?

State officials believe the legislation will raise $2.4 billion for future projects, the major one being roadway improvement, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The bill was introduced last week by Chicago state Sen. Martin Sandoval, obviously a Democrat, who says the registration fee hike is necessary to help fund needed infrastructure improvements.

“Capital bills in Springfield are like the second coming of the cicadas — every 10 years — and that’s not the way to go in regards to funding our infrastructure,” Sandoval told NPR Illinois. “This is a transformational model. And hopefully, when we get done with passing this sustainable capital bill, we won’t have to have another press conference like this 10 years from now.”

The bill would also make things more expensive for residents who drive gas-driven cars. The state's gas tax would go up 19 cents to 44 cents a gallon, fees for driver’s licenses would double and the registration fee for non-electric vehicles would go up nearly 50% from $98 to $148.

Unfair, you say?

“It’s outrageous,” Tesla owner Nicoletta Skarlatos, 56, told the Chicago Tribune. “I thought Illinois was progressive and would want to encourage EV (electric vehicle) ownership.”

Now you understand the definition of 'progressive.' It's how leftists feel good about themselves.

The rationale for the extreme hikes are that electric vehicles don't provide the state any gas tax revenue. One reason beyond the pollution question is that some folks just don't want to pay gasoline prices. But thanks to the progressives in Illinois, they get to pay a higher tax for that very reason.

Electric vehicle companies Tesla and Rivian say they're against the legislation.

“Imposing fees on EVs that are over 400 percent more than their gasoline-powered counterparts is not only unfair, it discourages promising new technology that will reduce our dependence on petroleum, reduce emissions, and promote the Illinois economy,” Rivian spokesman Michael McHale told the Chicago Tribune.

Sandoval says people who drive hybrids and plug-in electric hybrids won't have to pay the higher registration fee.

Unfair, you say?

This isn't the first time Illinois used a new program to raise additional revenue from local residents.

From 2010-2015, 1.2 million motorists in Chicago received 1.5 million tickets as part of the city's red-light and speed camera programs. Residents filed a class action lawsuit, alleging the programs violated the rights of over a million people after the city took more than $285 million, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The city agreed to settle, with the average resident getting about $36.62.

Those who had paid their tickets before the lawsuit were screwed.

Officials hope the new gas and electric hikes raise eight times the amount of the red-light and speed camera programs. If not, they will find other ways to tax local residents.

Maybe they could start taxing water and air.

Democratic Rep. calls for death to GOP's 2 adopted kids and family

A state Democratic lawmaker is being pressured to resign after she called for the deaths of the two adopted children and wife of a Republican lawmaker with whom she disagrees. She said this during a speech on the floor this week because she's so very classy.

Democrat Rep. Stephanie Kifowit [her friends call her 'Kifowitless'] said she wanted to pump a "broth of Legionella" into Republican Rep. Peter Breen's water system so that his wife and children would "be infected" and "ultimately die."

"I would like to make him a broth of Legionella and pump it into the water system of his loved ones so that they can be infected, they can be mistreated, they can sit and suffer by getting aspirin instead of being properly treated and ultimately die," Kifowit said in a fit of mindless, irrational rage.

Kifowit's disgusting remark "came just before the Illinois House voted 71-36 to override Gov. Bruce Rauner’s amendatory veto of a bill to increase the cap the state pays in civil litigation cases from $100,000 to $2 million," The Chicago Sun-Times reported.

It's almost as if the Illinois House wanted to prevent the state from going bankrupt or something equally as malevolent.

A few minutes after Kifowit's shocking statement, Republican Rep. Jeanne Ives came to Breen’s defense on the legislative floor and gave the b**ch a well-deserved tongue-lashing:
"How dare you concoct up some sort of story about brewing up some batch of Legionella and having him feed it to his family, How dare you take the discussion and the debate about a very serious bill that has a huge cost consequence on both sides, both for the victim and the state taxpayers. How dare you take an honest debate about an issue and then wish death on my colleague Peter Breen, his wife and his two adopted kids."

The Washington Post reports that Kifowit is now facing calls to resign [and get help] after wishing for the death of her Republican colleague, who has two adopted sons, ages 2 years and 2 months.

"She launched her attack against me and my family, and really, it was shock," Rep. Breen said. "It was out of left field. Had Rep. Kisowit made those statements in the parking lot, or left a message on an answering machine in my office, she would be in custody."

Kifowit's statement was so screwed up that the "House voted 110-0 Wednesday to expunge Kifowit's statement from the record," the Daily Herald reported. Her words from a person in her position, are an embarrassment to the Illinois House.

Sounding a lot like Marc Lamont Hill, Kifowit initially claimed that her words were "twisted and misrepresented." Her words were very clear and unmistakeable. She called for the death of Breen's family in no uncertain terms.

Rep. Breen's wife and adopted children, ages 2 and 2 months, are doing fine.

Illinois judge accepts biology, rejects transgender science denier's request

An Illinois judge denied a mentally ill male who believes he's a female his request to change clothes with actual female students in the girl's locker room at a public high school.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois is representing Nova Maday, the male student at Palatine's Township High School District 211. The ACLU petitioned the court last year, arguing the student should be treated as if he's a girl and not be forced to deal with reality.

On Thursday, Judge Thomas Allen, who evidently got an "A" in biology, rejected the request to go along with Maday's delusion that he's a female. Perhaps the good judge believed it would do the poor young man no good to allow the lie to persist, and to subject high school girls to having to deal with him exposing his junk in the locker room.

The ACLU will consult with Maday on how he wants to proceed with the case.

"Clearly, we are disappointed in this decision. We continue to believe that the school is wrong to discriminate against our client. There is no exception under our nondiscrimination laws that allows a school to treat transgender students differently because of lack of understanding or discomfort about transgender people," said John Knight, LGBTQ policy director at the ACLU.

"To me, this is a simple question--am I going to be treated just like any other girl in my school. All I want is to be accepted by my school for who I am--a girl--and be able to take gym and use the locker room to change clothes like other [actual] girls in my class," Nova Maday said after the judge ruled in favor of reality.

The ACLU cited Illinois Human Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination. But Kellie Fiedorek, an attorney for the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), called it a "baseless" claim.

"That law specifically allows facilities like locker rooms to be reserved for girls, whose desire privacy is both important and understandable, particularly in the post-Weinstein era," Ms. Fiedorek said, referencing Harvey Weinstein, the disgraced notorious scum bag.

The ADF and Thomas More Society represented a group of concerned parents and students who intervened in the lawsuit.

"Schools should never be forced to give male students unrestricted access to areas where girls are changing clothes. Claiming a female gender identity doesn't change that," said Thomas Brejcha, chief counsel at the Thomas More Society.

ADF noted in a press release, that the transgender student continues to be allowed to change in the female locker room, but must do so behind a curtain.

And going along with his mental illness does him no favor. The suicide rate among transgender people, both before and after transition, is around 40 percent. And it has nothing to do with acceptance of the transition.

To help this group of people psychiatry must get involved and we must all stop pretending that biology is not the deciding factor of gender. That somehow a person can magically think he or she is a member of the opposite sex and therefore we must go along with it--this is asking us to lie about what is real, and this is what science denying is all about.

We need to treat people with gender dysmorphic disorder or gender identity disorder and stop pretending that it's other than that.

There was a time when a person who identified with being, say, Napoleon, was institutionalized. Now the ACLU wants us to call him Napoleon or "The Little Corporal," and treat him like the leader of the French armies.

Pro-Trump town upset after illegal immigrant arrested

West Frankfort, Ill. -- An Illinois community that staunchly backed President Trump when he was on the campaign trail, is now upset with him. The town of about 8,000 has rallied behind a Mexican restaurant manager who is living in the U.S. illegally and was picked up and detained by immigration officials.

The town folk wrote letters of support to the mayor, police chief, high school athletic director and the county prosecutor, for Juan Carlos Hernandez Pacheco. They described him as a role model and praised his civil involvement such as his funding of school scholarships and benefit dinners for the poor as well as a law enforcement appreciation event.

Hernandez, 38, arrived in the U.S. in the 1990s and never bothered obtaining legal status according to his friends. He was the manager of La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant for about ten years.

Hernandez was arrested at his home (su casa) earlier this month and is now in custody at an ICE facility outside St. Louis, about 100 miles northwest of West Frankfort. ICE officials didn't give a reason for his arrest but mentioned his drunken-driving conviction from 2007. Many of the residents didn't know of his legal status in the U.S. until word spread like wild fire (fuego salvaje).

Although the town backed Trump's aggressive immigration policy, when it affected someone who managed the only Mexican restaurant in town, well, that kind of threw a llave inglesa (monkey wrench) into the mix.

Many of the town folk said the Hernandez situation has complicated their views on immigration policy.

One town elder, who wishes to remain anonymous in spite of President Trump's demand that anonymous people come forward and reveal their identity said, "Why shucks, that darned Mexee can restaurant served the best dang tortillas south of the Mississippi. Why'd they done locked up that poor fella? I reckoned Trump was gonna get rid of them criminal aliens, not the good ones."

Another person, unafraid of notoriety, said "I think people need to do things the right way, follow the rules and obey the laws, and I firmly believe in that," Lori Barron, the owner of a beauty salon, told The New York Times. "But in the case of Carlos, I think he may have done more for the people here than this place has ever given him. I think it's absolutely terrible that he could be taken away."

Hernandez' attorney is attempting to get him freed on bond until his case can be heard.

His wife, Elizabeth Hernandez, and their three children are U.S. citizens. She said that she hope he can come home and "continue his efforts on becoming an American citizen, something that he has wished for a very long time."

From my understanding, and I don't mean to sound callous or cruel, is that one doesn't 'wish' to become an American citizen--one applies for it and gets in line.

Trump's order causes showdown between 'sanctuary' cities & states

President Trump plans to cut of millions of dollars in federal funds to cities who are not following the law of the land. Known as "sanctuary cities" they protect illegal immigrants by failing to cooperate with federal authorities. In other words, they provide sanctuary to illegal criminal immigrants, but they don't provide a sanctuary to their victims.

Trump's goal of ending sanctuary cities may be better carried out by GOP governors who share that goal.

"State governments can have a lot more control over local municipalities than the federal government does," Angela Morrison, professor at Texas A&M University's School of Law told Fox News.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is vowing to "remove from office" any local official who promotes sanctuary cities. He announced the legislation last week amid a dispute between Abbott and Travis County Sherrif Sally Hernandez. She said she would reduce her department's cooperation with federal officials when they request an inmate be deported.

The governor threatened to cut off about $2 million in state funding to Hernandez's office if she refuses to follow the law.

"The power of the purse is going to be big because the state can tie funding to existing laws," said Morrison.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a Trump adviser, backs Trump's campaign promise and he may also cut funding to local governments who provide "sanctuary" policies but has thus far not revealed what he would do.

"I agree with [Trump]. I took the same position when I ran for president," Christie said on his monthly radio show. "Elected officials can't be allowed to pick and choose which laws they choose to comply with."

But Morrison said that New Jersey adheres to home rule which gives local municipalities much more power in administrating laws and would make it more difficult for Christie to enforce Trump's order.

Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner is a Republican who appears to be missing his "man parts" as he refuses to say publicly where he stands on the issue of sanctuary cities. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, a flaming liberal who was Obama's chief of staff and hates Trump, called on Rauner to say where he stands.

"We're going to stay a sanctuary city," Emanuel said. "Wherever you came from, you're welcome here." [Whatever you do while you're here, robbery, murder, rape, whatever, we will protect you.]

Boston Mayor Martin Walsh, a fierce leftist, said he would do everything in his power to protect Boston residents living in the country 'without authorization' even if that means using City Hall, but not his home, as a shelter.

"If people want to live here, they'll live here. They can use my office. They can use any office in this building," he said, but he refuses to allow them to move into his neighborhood.

"Washington is advancing the most destructive and un-American threat on America during this campaign," he added. "The latest executive orders and statements by the president are a direct attack on Boston's people, Boston's strength and Boston's values."

Republican Gov. Charles Baker, much like Rauner, only sings in falsetto. He claims that he doesn't want Massachusetts to become a "sanctuary state," he believes cities and towns "should be allowed to make their own decisions," because then he doesn't have to grow a pair and take a stand.

It seems as if the left will only be happy when the United States of America becomes the Untied States of America and the country loses it sovereignty.

Chicago defies Trump: will remain sanctuary city

Chicago-Ill -- The city of Chicago is pledging to remain a sanctuary city to protect undocumented immigrants from having to worry about the law. The law will apparently apply only to actual citizens. Symbolically, this is Chicago "flipping the bird" to President-elect Donald Trump.

Trump has promised to cut off federal funding from all sanctuary cities where local law enforcement isn't required to alert U.S. Immigration and Customs authorities about the immigration status of illegal aliens.

This makes perfect sense to the left seeing as how they believe they're doing the Lord's work, even when these illegal immigrants break the law and sometimes people die.

On Monday, the city's elected officials, including Mayor Rahm Emanuel, are scheduled to hold a news conference to formally discuss how they plan to retain their sanctuary status. Aldermen are expected to call on Republican Governor Bruce Rauner to pressure Trump to go back on his promise to cut off funding.

"Across the country and in Chicago and Illinois . . . young men and women [are] very distraught about this," Chicago Alderman Danny Solis told POLITICO Illinois on Sunday.

Solis, who doesn't have a lot of respect for anyone who doesn't think exactly his way said, "There's some people, thought I disagree with them, but I have some respect for--Paul Ryan, Reince Priebus. I'm hoping that those guys have much more influence on Trump and what needs to be done not only on his first 100 days, but in his term."

Illinois Comptroller-elect Susana Mendoza, whose parents are legal Mexican immigrants and didn't have to compete with illegal Mexican immigrants for her job, called on Rauner to take a stand on the issue.

Mendoza doesn't think losing federal funding is a good idea for Chicago. "As a leader of this state, the governor, and everyone in a leadership position, should be saying it's wrong," she said. "I would expect that the governor would say, 'that's ridiculous.' Besides moral bankruptcy, it's bad fiscal policy for the city or any city."

Emanuel said in a statement: "I want to assure all of our families that Chicago is and will remain a sanctuary city. Chicago has been a city of immigrants since it was founded. We have always welcomed people of all faiths and backgrounds [including felons and potential terrorists] and while the administration will change, our values and our commitment to inclusion will not."

They call it 'inclusion' if those they're including vote Democratic.

As it now stands, other cities have affirmed their commitment to remaining illegal sanctuary cities: New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Philadelphia, and San Francisco [where Kate Steinle was killed by an illegal alien].

In a "60 Minutes" interview, Trump promised to immediately deport 2 to 3 million undocumented immigrants, and has yet to comment on unlicensed pharmacists (aka drug dealers).

Islam: the religion of pieces

I was checking out one of my favorite websites, Jihad Watch, and skimmed through the titles of some of the stories they are covering. The posts about the Islamic State were, as usual, the most barbaric, but there were several others that caught my eye.

Islamic State Beheads 8 Shi'ites, calls them "impure infidels."

You see, if you aren't a Sunni Muslim, and if you are but do not follow Islam the same way the Islamic State dudes do, then you're considered an infidel. The term "infidel" covers every human being on earth who does not practice Islam the same way ISIS practices it.

Islamic State in Nigeria beheads 23 in campaign to scare people from voting.

That seems to work for some people in Nigeria, but not all voters. I have to give those who vote in spite of this threat, a lot of credit and respect.

Islamic State in Illinois planned another Fort Hood.

So here we have two Muslims who once again plan to wreak workplace violence on innocent Americans. Why are we not surprised?

Wives of Islamic State: "When one husband gets martyred, it's like a celebration."

As funny as "Kill the Juice"
One husband? Islam only allows women to have one husband, but one husband can have as many as four wives. It's a man's world, Inshallah.

UK: Father of girl who joined ISIS was at rally boasting of Muslim conquest of USA.

He didn't mean anything by that--maybe like Iran saying "Death to America" every morning, this guy meant it in the nicest possible way.

Philippine President: "Give Muslims self-rule or count body bags."

Yes, be appeasers like Winston Churchill discussed. That is, feed the alligator hoping that it will eat you last. This practice of appeasement is exactly what the Islamists want us to do but in the long run, they're going to do what alligators do.

Finally, this last article made me chuckle, and I don't often do that when discussing Islam and what it has done to the world. UK: New Islam Museum hopes to offset image created by Islamic jihadists.

You can't make this stuff up.
