Dept. of Energy wants to crack down on more of your stuff

Frau Jennifer Granholm: the inspiration of cold showers

The Department of Energy is planning yet another crackdown on the things that you have in your home or for your personal use. It has gone from incandescent lightbulbs to gas stoves to gasoline cars and now to hot water heaters. What's next, soap?

The fascistic DOE announced their plan on Friday to crack down on home hot water heaters because grabbing power instead of releasing it, is how these tyrants roll. It's all part of a string of proposed rules from whoever is running the Biden administration to take away your right to buy appliances for your home or the type of vehicle you want to drive, in their effort to limit your consumer power.

So they hope to tighten requirements for water heaters, stating that “most common-sized electric water heaters to achieve efficiency gains with heat pump technology and gas-fired instantaneous water heaters to achieve efficiency gains through condensing technology,” according to the DOE's press release

This administration, and whoever is calling the shots because it isn't Joe Biden, is forcing their will upon us while using climate change fears as their cause for doing this to us. They say it will save us $11 billion yearly on utility bills and $198 billion over a thirty year period. The DOE also says it would also reduce greenhouse gas emissions by about 500 million tons during the same period, and even millions and millions more if a-holes like John Kerry, Pete Buttigieg and many senators refrain from using private jets or forcing military planes to haul their fat butts all over the globe so that they can pretend to care about the environment.

“Today’s actions — together with our industry partners and stakeholders — improve outdated efficiency standards for common household appliances, which is essential to slashing utility bills for American families and cutting harmful carbon emissions,” Energy Secretary, Frau Jennifer Granholm said in a statement.

“This proposal reinforces the trajectory of consumer savings that forms the key pillar of Bidenomics and builds on the unprecedented actions already taken by this Administration to lower energy costs for working families across the nation,” she added.

While DOE said the proposed standards would “accelerate deployment” of electric heat pump water heaters, Fox News reported they would force cheaper gas heaters off the market. The news outlet noted that non-condensing gas-fired heaters are cheaper, having a smaller size and lower installation costs.

The three words Rep. Tom Massie (R-KY) told the Biden administration were: "Leave us alone." This is a sentiment that sums it up perfectly.

Joe Biden named in email discussing China gas deal in 2017

Not surprisingly, Joe Biden's name was mentioned in an October 27, 2017 email found on Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop connected to the multi-million dollar deal to ship natural gas to China from the US, the Daily Mail reported Friday.

The email contains Louisiana lawyer Robert Fenet told the whoring Hunter and his uncle Jimmy, that he had secured a contract for them at a Houston energy company known as Cherniere.

“I confirm I have requested [the contact] to be available for a call from Joe Biden and Hunter Biden on Monday morning,” Fenet wrote, possibly substituting "Joe" for "Jim" accidentally, according to the New York Post.

Alleged President Biden has a history of ties to Cherniere’s executives: He named former company lobbyist and vice president Ankit Desai as his political director in 2005, and former board member Heather Zichal became his campaign climate advisor in 2020.

Although Biden has repeatedly mumbled that he has no involvement with his drug-addled son's Chinese business dealings, records prove that he has remained true to form and has lied once again. When Joe Biden sneezes, he's lying.

In emails with Fenet, Jim Biden referred to the Biden clan’s involvement in the project, which involved supplying millions of tons of liquid natural gas (LNG) from Louisiana to Chinese state-backed conglomerate CEFC Energy.

“We Biden’s [sic] often fraught with problems, that they can can [sic] come from working with family members, are of a different mind. It’s all about family, and people we choose to do business with,” Jim Biden retardedly wrote [possibly in crayon] to Fenet on Oct. 19, 2017.

On May 13, 2017, Hunter’s business partner James Gilliar said in an email that 10% of equity in the CEFC venture would be kept in equity “by H for the big guy.” Who could he possibly be?

Both Gilliar and another Biden business partner, Tony Bobulinski, have said “the big guy” is a reference to Joe Biden, who many now refer to as "the house plant."

The following week, Gilliar also warned Bobulinski to avoid referencing Joe Biden’s involvement on the deal in correspondence.

“Don’t mention Joe being involved, it’s only when u are face to face, I know u know that but they are paranoid,” he texted Bobulinksi after Hunter referred to his father in a group text as “my Chairman.”

Bobulinski later claimed that he met with Joe Biden to discuss the China deal on May 2, 2017 in the lobby bar of the Beverly Hilton with Hunter and Jim.

So who do you believe: Joe or Bobulinski?

A voicemail on Hunter Biden’s scandalous laptop revealed that Joe Biden called him in the wake of a December 2018 New York Times story on his connection to the shady businessmen.

“I thought the article released online– it’s going to be printed tomorrow in the Times– was good. I think you’re clear. And anyway if you get a chance give me a call, I love you,” Biden told his shady, no talent son on Dec. 12, 2018.

The revelation is the latest blow to scandal-ridden Hunter, who is now under scrutiny after it was revealed that he had access to his father’s Corvette in the same garage where classified documents were improperly stored.

But nothing will likely happen to any of the Biden brood as they, like all the elites we have come to worship, for some crazy reason, can get away with almost anything unless they fall out of grace. This seems to be a possibility for Biden, but only insofar of the presidency--nobody will go to prison.

Biden mumbles that he knows canceling Keystone XL Pipeline costs thousands of jobs, billions of bucks

"Irskahibbalah, I'm not kidding."

The Biden regime recently published a congressionally-mandated report that showed what the positive
economic benefits the Keystone XL Pipeline would have had if so called President Biden didn't revoke its federal permits, which he did out of spite over former President Trump's wishes to go through with its construction.

The report was practically covert, with no public announcement which the Department of Energy (DOE) completed in late December.

It shows that the pipeline would have created as much as 59,000 jobs and had a fantastic economic impact of around $9,600,000,000.23, give or take. But once the bumbling gaffe machine took office in January 2021, the dementia sufferer canceled the pipeline's permits, which basically shut the project down.

Now with the Republicans in charge of the purse strings, you can bet the pipeline will be back in construction, but you would probably lose that bet.

"The Biden administration finally owned up to what we have known all along — killing the Keystone XL Pipeline cost good-paying jobs, hurt Montana’s economy and was the first step in the Biden administration’s war on oil and gas production in the United States," Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT), said in a statement Thursday. "Unfortunately, the administration continues to pursue energy production anywhere but the United States."  [Steve may be referring to Venezuela, Russia and China, but that would be unpatriotic, and the Democrats would never be guilty of that, right?]

"These policies may appeal to the woke left but hurt Montana’s working families," he continued. "I’ll keep fighting back against Biden’s anti-energy agenda and supporting Montana energy projects and jobs."

The DOE was legally forced to issue the report after Daines and Sen. Jim Risch (R-ID) successfully inserted a bill mandating the report into the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Biden signed into law in November 2021. The agency was required to publish the report within 90 days of the bill's passage but ultimately waited more than a year before releasing it--hopefully by around late 2024, say around November 30.

Biden's decision to cancel the pipeline has received widespread criticism from Republican lawmakers and energy industry representatives who have argued it would have helped keep gas prices down and ensure energy security. Fortunately for Biden's administration, Democrats are too busy getting their genitals mutilated, having abortions, and hating Republicans, to be paying much attention to the cost of energy, food prices, and supply chain problems.

Keystone XL was scheduled to be completed early this year and transport an additional 830,000 barrels of crude oil from Canada to the U.S. through an existing pipeline network, according to its operator, TC Energy. But why do business with our good neighbors to the north, eh, when you can do it with dictatorships aforementioned.

The project labor agreement that TC Energy signed in August 2020 with four labor unions promised the pipeline would create 42,000 American jobs and provide $2 billion in total wages. But then again, Amazon was to create 25,000 jobs paying on average $120,000, but the Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Comatose, angered the company brass and they decided to go elsewhere, so why should Democrats change they way the operate since their constituents are oblivious to the outcomes?

TC Energy ultimately gave up on the project in June 2021 as a result of Biden's handler's decision. Last year, a federal judge tossed a legal challenge from nearly two dozen states asking the court to reinstate the pipeline's permits.

So let's see what happens now that the GOP is in control of the House, at least with a small majority. Just don't hold your breath hoping for energy costs and other prices to go down any time soon.

Biden refuses to allow US to drill but bans Russian oil

"Where am I?"

PINO Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that the US will ban the importing of Russian oil and natural gas and claims to be "targeting the main artery of Russia's economy."

“Russian oil will no longer be accepted at U.S. ports,” the alleged president mumbled. “We will not be part of subsidizing Putin’s war,” he yelled angrily.

Biden said his alleged decision comes after consulting with European allies, although he said some are not able to join the U.S. in banning Russian oil. However, the EU does plan to reduce Russian imports of energy by over 65%, even though it gets 40% of it from Russia. England plans to phase out all Russian oil imports by the end of 2022 and possibly the end of Ukraine, as the war escalates.

Biden is cutting energy imports from Russia mostly because of the intense pressure he is getting from Americans.

Russia is the world's third-largest oil producer and second-largest natural gas producer followed by Eric Swalwell (D-CA).

Biden levied sanctions against the evil country of Russia before they invaded Ukraine, but they had less effect than a child peeing in the ocean and a change in its temperature. His addled brain struggled to come up with a better way to hurt Putin.

On Monday, he mumbled with the leaders of Britain, France and Germany by video, and the three leaders and Biden “affirmed their determination to continue raising the costs on Russia for its unprovoked and unjustified invasion of Ukraine,” according to a White House propaganda statement.

Since becoming our PINO, so-called President Biden did all he could to end the United States' energy independence by interfering with oil production at home. Instead, since last fall, the U.S. imported approximately 700,000 barrels of dirty oil per day from Russia, helping them now fund their barbaric war against Ukraine. While our Russian oil amounts to about 10% of our total oil imports, Europe imports 4.5 million barrels per day, or about a third of its oil imports.

Due to his inability to ever accept responsibility for his history of failure and the ongoing increase in gas prices, Biden blamed the Russian-Ukraine war for the rising prices. “Putin’s war is already hurting Americans at the pump,” the house plant mush-mouthed.

On Monday, the average price for a gallon of gasoline hit an all-time high of $4.104, beating out the 2008 high of $4.103. Not a big difference but this isn't over by a long shot.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden is still our alleged president and Vice President Kamala Hahaharris is still waiting.

Translating the Buttigieg word salad

Transportation Secretary in absentia, and Alfred E. Newman lookalike, Peter Buttigieg, was asked a question that should have had an obvious answer, but it didn't.

MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle, on Wednesday night's "The 11th Hour," asked the gay Transportation Secretary, “Could the president possibly consider authorizing the Keystone XL pipeline, working something out with Iran?”

His answer seemed to baffle the minds of English speaking Americans:

“Look, the president has said that all options are on the table. But we also need to make sure we’re not galloping after permanent solutions to immediate short-term problems,” the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana said, referring to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the deaths of thousands as a short-term problem. The more important thing for liberals is to make sure the U.S. energy sector stops using dependable energy and instead relies on wind and clear sunny days to generate electricity.

For now, the Biden administration and the idiots who stand behind their solutions have suggested we should defund Russia's energy industry by buying our oil from good ole friendly Iran, a country that openly wishes us, along with Israel, "death," rather than re-opening the Keystone XL Pipeline because of the bad orange man who was responsible for lowering a barrel of oil to around $50.

We know, however, that if we buy our oil from Iran, they will spend the money wisely.

Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) on Twitter, blasted Buttigieg’s response as “a word salad of bureaucratic BS. The left wing in Washington is doubling down on energy illiteracy instead of learning more about real energy security solutions.”
What a word salad of bureaucratic BS. The left wing in Washington is doubling down on energy illiteracy instead of learning more about real energy security solutions. https://t.co/qJhBKuOrXb

— Claudia Tenney (@claudiatenney)
On Thursday, Ruhle’s MSNBC colleague, the androgynous Chris Hayes, and host[ess?] of “All In” repeated the idea.

Hayes retweeted a message from Ryan Cooper, editor of the leftist magazine The American Prospect, who said, “Iran has 103 million barrels of oil loaded up on tankers and ready to go.” Cooper then tagged President Joe Biden. Hayes amplified the message, adding, “If you’re a) devoted to cutting off Russia’s oil revenues and b) worried about inflation and spiking oil prices, this is one possible solution…”

Cooper later replied to Hayes by saying his plan would see Iran “sticking it to the [U.S.-based] private equity frackers who are raking in fat profits!” Because leftists would rather see America's enemies profit than Americans they envy.

These were the like-minded A-holes who stood up and chanted "USA. USA," when our brain addled president gave the SOTU on Tuesday. They were quietly mumbling "down with the" before shouting "USA." Anyway, buying oil from enemy nations, oil that we already have here, is a good indication the left hates America.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) responded to this lunacy with a tweet of his own:
Actually, giving billions to American-murdering terrorists is a really bad idea. https://t.co/zzUuaHN5wP

— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) March 3, 2022
The left would have the taxpayers purchase oil from Iran while they sit across the table from them and the Russians with the idea of trusting Iranian terrorists to halt production of their nuclear ambitions when they proved they could not be trusted the first time a nuclear deal was being considered.

“Energy security is national security,” said Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) on Fox News this week. “We should be ramping it up here, and ratcheting down on President Putin and Russia, and yet this administration refuses to do that.”

A permanent solution is for us to use fracking and the Keystone XL Pipeline along with fracking for energy independence and end our relying on countries that can hold this over us whenever they want to gain that power.

When it comes to energy independence in the USA, the left takes a knee.

BP refuses to remain with Russian energy company; Biden, not so much

While alleged President Joseph Robinette Biden (D) continues to buy oil from Russia, British Petroleum (BP) has exited its partnership with the Russian energy company Rosneft because the British, at least, have the integrity and morality to refuse to do business with a bloody dictator who invaded Ukraine. Joe Biden, not so much--perhaps he would lose too much money if he had the country go elsewhere for our oil and gas.

Red Apple Group Chairman and CEO John Catsimatidis argues that Biden releasing oil from reserves is the ‘dumbest thing’ he’s ever heard.

Are you surprised?

Oil giant BP announced Sunday that it's dropping its stake in Russian government owned Rosneft. This is the latest in private companies cutting ties with Russia as the tyrannical nation led by dictator Vladimir Putin, invades nearby Ukraine without provocation.

BP holds a 19.75% stake in Rosneft since 2013. The company also said its chief executive, Bernard Looney will resign from the Rosneft's board, effective immediately and Bob Dudley, a former BP executive, will also resign.

"I am convinced that the decisions we have taken as a board are not only the right thing to do, but are also in the long-term interests of bp," Looney said in a serious statement. "Our immediate priority is caring for our great people in the region and we will do our utmost to support them."

The company unequivocally cited the ongoing Russian attack on Ukraine as the reason for the severance.

"Russia’s attack on Ukraine is an act of aggression which is having tragic consequences across the region," BP chairman Helge Lund said. "BP has operated in Russia for over 30 years, working with brilliant Russian colleagues. However, this military action represents a fundamental change."

Hopefully tomorrow, when Russian citizens go to their ATMs and the banks to draw out money, they will realize how inflated their currency has become.

"We can no longer support BP representatives holding a role on the Rosneft board," Lund said. "The Rosneft holding is no longer aligned with BP’s business and strategy and it is now the board’s decision to exit BP’s shareholding in Rosneft. The BP board believes these decisions are in the best long-term interests of all our shareholders."

BP thus acknowledged that relations with Rosneft, a government-run company, directly benefited the Russian government and they want no part of that.

Kwasi Kwarteng, the U.K.'s business and energy secretary, praised the move by BP in a tweet on Sunday.

"Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine must be a wake up call for British businesses with commercial interests in Putin’s Russia," he said.

Canada asks Biden to not act like a jerk

Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau along with other Canadian lawmakers are "deeply disturbed" over President Joseph Biden's quick move to undo everything former President Trump has done for no other reason than they hate Donald Trump. In this case, the reference being made is to the Keystone XL pipeline that was green- lighted in 2017 by Trump. [H/T: New York Post]

On a positive note, this has united Canada in their disgust over Biden's brainless decision, but they are trying their best to hide it.

As one of his first mindless acts, Biden rescinded a permit for the pipeline to transport oil from Canada to the Gulf Coast. The pipeline has been controversial and a target by environmental activists and Democrats who would do anything for their votes. The goal is to stop the use of fossil fuels in North America, with the only alternative of getting fossil fuel from Saudi Arabia at significantly higher prices that they dictate.

“While we welcome the President’s commitment to fight climate change, we are disappointed but acknowledge the President’s decision to fulfill his election campaign promise on Keystone XL,” Trudeau said in a statement, according to the New York Post.

“Canada is the single-largest supplier of energy to the United States, contributing to U.S. energy security and economic competitiveness, and supporting thousands of jobs on both sides of the border,” the young, former night club bouncer, and skate board instructor and now Prime Minister continued. “Workers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and across Canada will always have our support.”

Trudeau is also the son of the late former PM Pierre Trudeau, which explains why he was able to be voted into the leadership position.

Alberta Premier [a Premier is akin to our governor position] Jason Kenney said he was “deeply disturbed” by Biden’s decision to stop work on the $8 billion project. Kenney had threatened legal action earlier in the week after reports of Biden’s intent to kill the pipeline surfaced.

“This is a gut punch for the Canadian and Alberta economies. Sadly it is an insult directed at the United States’ most important ally and trading partner,” Kenney said at a news conference, according to Reuters.

TC Energy Corp., an Alberta-based company, announced it had suspended work on the Keystone XL pipeline on Wednesday ahead of Biden’s inauguration and in anticipation of the U.S. president’s revocation of the pipeline’s permit.

The Keystone Pipeline System runs from Alberta, Canada, through North Dakota to refineries in Illinois and Texas. The Keystone XL addition is under construction in Canada and would have carried over 830,000 barrels of crude oil a day from Canada through North Dakota to Nebraska. From Nebraska, existing pipelines would carry the crude to refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast.

This would keep our energy costs low and our energy dependence within our borders. Allowing the Saudis to control our energy supply is not very different than allowing China to control our pharmaceutical supplies.

I hope Biden rethinks his policies, if he's able to really think very much at all.

Scientific method deniers march to protest climate policies

(Photo: Washington Post)
The scientific method is something almost all school kids are taught. Science Buddies, a website for science-inspired youth, defines the scientific method thus:
The scientific method is a process for experimentation that is used to explore observations and answers questions. Does this mean all scientists follow exactly this process? No. Some area of science can be more easily tested than others. For example, scientists studying how stars change as they age or how dinosaurs digested their food cannot fast forward a star's life by a million years or run medical exams on feeding dinosaurs to test their hypotheses. When direct experimentation is not possible, scientists modify the scientific method. In fact, there are probably as many versions of the scientific method as there are scientists! But even when modified, the goal remains the same: to discover cause and effect relationships by asking questions, carefully gathering and examining the evidence, and seeing if all the available information can be combined in to a logical answer.
Even though we show the scientific method as a series of steps, keep in mind that new information or thinking might cause a scientist to back up and repeat steps at any point during the process. A process like the scientific method that involves such backing up and repeating is called an iterative process.
Except if you're a liberal  demanding action on climate change. Then scientific method, not so much. In fact, if you question the left's take on climate change (which used to be called 'global warming' but then the earth stopped warming) they will refer to you as a 'science denier.'

Scientists cannot fast forward the future to determine what the earth's climate will be, although there is evidence that the earth is warming very slowly.

What scientists cannot know at this time is how much human beings contribute to climate, and even if we do, will anything within our power be able to have an effect on climate change.

The hypocrisy within the climate change movement is palpable as the limousine liberals fly to protest demonstrations in their private fuel-guzzling jets, burning more fossil fuel in one flight than the average person burns in a year. (You know who you are, Mr. DiCaprio.)

In Washington D.C., thousands of scientifically challenged protesters are marching Saturday on President Trump's 100th day in office. The are demanding action on climate change and they plan to encircle the White House.

Even former President Obama, a person who told us that generations from his election that "this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal," ended up not changing anything but race relations.

In Boston Common, people gathered to challenge Trump's first 100 days in office by protesting his agenda.

Socialist organizers say about 300 protest marches are expected to take place around the country.

The Peoples Climate March, a name reminiscent of Communist-style regimes, object to President Trump's relaxed restrictions on oil drilling, mining and greenhouse gas emissions at coal-fired power plants.

None of the protesters actually works in any capacity at a job these industries produce but they sure as day use what they produce.

FBI evidently confronted Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell over the weekend and hoo boy

It has been a rough stretch for former Rep. Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell . You know, the guy who's known for the fart heard round...
