Illegal Alien who absconded after 2016 death of Sarah Root is extradicted

A Honduran man, Eswin Mejia, who’s been on the lam since 2016 after allegedly plowing into an Iowa woman while three sheets to the wind, finally got his one-way ticket back to the U.S. on Friday.

Yes, they nabbed the former illegal alien in Honduras on Thursday, threw him on a plane, and now he’s stateside to face 'the man' for killing 21-year-old Sarah Root in a drunken crash in Nebraska.

The State Department’s crowing about it, and Marco Rubio—our new top diplomat—couldn’t wait to jump on X with the news.

“Nine years ago, Sarah was tragically killed by an illegal immigrant who later fled our county,” he posted. “Today, the Trump Administration is announcing the extradition of Sarah’s killer from Honduras to the United States to face justice once and for all.”

Boom—drop the mic, Marco
.
Here’s the deal: Mejia, who wasn’t supposed to be here in the first place, was allegedly drunk when he smashed into Root’s car at an Omaha stoplight back in January 2016. Sadly, she didn’t make it—passed away at the hospital.

The local police grabbed Mejia, charged him, but then—get this—he posted bond and poof, was gone like a fart in a hurricane. Next thing you know, he’s on ICE’s “Most Wanted” list, but back then, they were like, “Eh, not a priority.”

Iowa’s own Sen. Joni Ernst is over the moon about the bust. “The Trump administration never forgot Sarah Root’s story,” she blasted out on social media. “Together, we fought for justice to hold the illegal immigrant who took her life accountable. Iowans and every American know that this administration will always put our citizens first.”

Now, let’s rewind the tape on this clown. Border agents first clocked Mejia back in May 2013 when he rolled into Nogales, Arizona, as a so-called “unaccompanied child.”

Law said they had to hand him over to the Office of Refugee Resettlement, and those geniuses shipped him off to Omaha in 2014 to live with his brother. Fast forward to that fatal 2016 crash—ICE says they only “encountered Mr. Mejia just once” after his arrest for motor vehicle homicide, but didn’t bother slapping a detainer on him. Whoops.

Oh, and the cherry on top? Honduras just inked a deal with us in February to keep a century-old extradition treaty alive. Good timing, too, because things were getting spicy down there—Honduran bigwigs were cozying up to Venezuela’s defense minister, a guy with U.S. drug trafficking charges hanging over his head. Awkward.

So, there you have it—Eswin Mejia’s back, Sarah Root’s family might finally get some closure, and the Trump crew’s flexing hard. Justice? We’ll see. But for now, it’s game on in Omaha.

And it isn't even 100 days on the job for President Trump!

Translating the Buttigieg word salad

Transportation Secretary in absentia, and Alfred E. Newman lookalike, Peter Buttigieg, was asked a question that should have had an obvious answer, but it didn't.

MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle, on Wednesday night's "The 11th Hour," asked the gay Transportation Secretary, “Could the president possibly consider authorizing the Keystone XL pipeline, working something out with Iran?”

His answer seemed to baffle the minds of English speaking Americans:

“Look, the president has said that all options are on the table. But we also need to make sure we’re not galloping after permanent solutions to immediate short-term problems,” the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana said, referring to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the deaths of thousands as a short-term problem. The more important thing for liberals is to make sure the U.S. energy sector stops using dependable energy and instead relies on wind and clear sunny days to generate electricity.

For now, the Biden administration and the idiots who stand behind their solutions have suggested we should defund Russia's energy industry by buying our oil from good ole friendly Iran, a country that openly wishes us, along with Israel, "death," rather than re-opening the Keystone XL Pipeline because of the bad orange man who was responsible for lowering a barrel of oil to around $50.

We know, however, that if we buy our oil from Iran, they will spend the money wisely.

Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) on Twitter, blasted Buttigieg’s response as “a word salad of bureaucratic BS. The left wing in Washington is doubling down on energy illiteracy instead of learning more about real energy security solutions.”
What a word salad of bureaucratic BS. The left wing in Washington is doubling down on energy illiteracy instead of learning more about real energy security solutions. https://t.co/qJhBKuOrXb

On Thursday, Ruhle’s MSNBC colleague, the androgynous Chris Hayes, and host[ess?] of “All In” repeated the idea.

Hayes retweeted a message from Ryan Cooper, editor of the leftist magazine The American Prospect, who said, “Iran has 103 million barrels of oil loaded up on tankers and ready to go.” Cooper then tagged President Joe Biden. Hayes amplified the message, adding, “If you’re a) devoted to cutting off Russia’s oil revenues and b) worried about inflation and spiking oil prices, this is one possible solution…”

Cooper later replied to Hayes by saying his plan would see Iran “sticking it to the [U.S.-based] private equity frackers who are raking in fat profits!” Because leftists would rather see America's enemies profit than Americans they envy.

These were the like-minded A-holes who stood up and chanted "USA. USA," when our brain addled president gave the SOTU on Tuesday. They were quietly mumbling "down with the" before shouting "USA." Anyway, buying oil from enemy nations, oil that we already have here, is a good indication the left hates America.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) responded to this lunacy with a tweet of his own:
Actually, giving billions to American-murdering terrorists is a really bad idea. https://t.co/zzUuaHN5wP

The left would have the taxpayers purchase oil from Iran while they sit across the table from them and the Russians with the idea of trusting Iranian terrorists to halt production of their nuclear ambitions when they proved they could not be trusted the first time a nuclear deal was being considered.

“Energy security is national security,” said Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) on Fox News this week. “We should be ramping it up here, and ratcheting down on President Putin and Russia, and yet this administration refuses to do that.”

A permanent solution is for us to use fracking and the Keystone XL Pipeline along with fracking for energy independence and end our relying on countries that can hold this over us whenever they want to gain that power.

When it comes to energy independence in the USA, the left takes a knee.

Schiffless cites CBS "head on pike" BS angering GOP

The Senate Republicans, even the potential swing-voters, are infuriated after Adam Schiff, House Impeachment Manager, (D-CA) made reference to a report by Complete Bull S*** News (CBS) that GOP members were threatened with dire consequences if they voted to convict President Trump. The only fact in this claim is that CBS made the fake news report.

"CBS News reported last night that a Trump confidant said that key senators were warned, ‘Vote against the president and your head will be on a pike.’ I don’t know if that’s true," Schiff lied, while trying to manipulate Senate Republicans to vote with "moral courage" rather than in their political self-interest [or lack of any evidence].

Several senators went on record objecting to Schiff's BS.

"I thought he was doing fine with [talking about] moral courage until he got to the 'head on a pike.' That's where he lost me,” Sen. Lisa Murkowski, (R-AK) said. She previously stated that she would be open to calling witnesses in the trial. "He's a good orator. ...It was just unnecessary," she added.

After the bug-eyed liar made his remark, several Republican Senators reportedly shook their heads and said, "That's not true," after Schiff made his repugnant remark.

“I hope it’s not true,” Schiff lied. He hates Trump and has repeatedly lied about nonexistent "facts," and non-existent "evidence."

Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), considered another key Republican vote, agreed with Murkowski. ["I would like to kick Schiff right in his solar nuts," she was probably thinking.]

“Not only have I never heard the ‘head on the pike’ line but also I know of no Republican senator who has been threatened in any way by anyone in the administration," she told reporters.

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA), called the story "baloney." She said she was listening to Schiffhead, "until he got to the part where he just completely made a bunch of bullcrap up," [aka BS].

Sen. John Barrasso [R-WY], said, "No Republican senator has been told that. What he has proven to all of us is, he is capable of falsehoods [aka BS] and will tell it to the country. And would tell it to us when we are sitting in the Senate chamber. When every one of us knows it is not true."

Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), who has a great announcer's voice, also said he would be open to witnesses and old reporters it’s “completely, totally false.”

“None of us have been told that,” he said. “That’s insulting and demeaning to everyone to say that we somehow live in fear and that the president has threatened all of us.″

Even some Democrats were miffed by the remark.

Sen. Joe Manchin, (D-W.VA.), hasn’t revealed how he plans to vote. Regarding Schiff's BS, Manchin said, "That could have been left out, that's for sure."

Other Democrats scoffed, suggesting the outrage was a made-up excuse to oppose calling witnesses. This too is BS--the Republicans would be happy to call witnesses that make the President's case, such as the main witness, Hunter Biden.

Minority Leader Chuck "Nostrils" Schumer (D-NY), told Communist outlet MSNBC, "The Republicans are so afraid to confront the actual facts here ... they're always looking for a diversion."

The actual facts, as Schumer says, are in the transcript of the phone call, the fact that the left, since the day Trump got elected, planned to impeach him, and the fact that Adam Schiff vetoed every witness the Republican House wanted to testify.

Trump’s defense team will begin their opening statements in the trial Saturday morning after the 28,000 pages of House BS is delivered.
