BREAKING: Jury reached a verdict in the Karmelo Anthony murder trial

Anthony is now facing life in prison.

A Collin County, Texas jury on Tuesday found 19-year-old Karmelo Anthony guilty of murdering 17-year-old high school athlete Austin Metcalf, bringing an end to one of the most closely watched murder trials in the country.

Anthony, who was 17 at the time of the killing, was tried as an adult. He now faces anywhere from five years to life in prison after being convicted of first-degree murder.

Just before the verdict was read, CBS reporter J.D. Miles noted that more than two dozen deputies had been stationed outside the courtroom as tensions mounted. A crowd gathered outside the courthouse chanting, “Free Karmelo.”

The case exploded into the national spotlight after Anthony, who is black, fatally stabbed Metcalf, who was white, during a track event in Frisco, Texas in April 2025. The story gained traction not only because of the circumstances surrounding the killing, but because much of the corporate press seemed strangely uninterested in covering it. Had the racial dynamics been reversed, everyone knows the media cycle would have looked very different.

The trial itself moved quickly. Jury selection began June 1 and the proceedings wrapped in just nine days. Throughout the trial, prosecutors presented video footage and witness testimony showing Anthony initiated the confrontation with Metcalf and that deadly force was not justified. Even testimony from defense witnesses undercut the self-defense narrative pushed by Anthony’s legal team.

Anthony notably declined to testify in his own defense.

The racial narrative promoted by Anthony’s family also fell apart once witnesses took the stand. Several black teenage witnesses called by the prosecution testified that Anthony was in the wrong and described Metcalf as a respected friend and leader.

One of the most emotional moments came when a young male witness who knew both teens broke down in tears while describing the killing.

“That was my brother, that was my brother that got stabbed,” he said.

Investigative journalist Sarah Fields, who attended the trial, reported that the witness was directly asked whether the case was about race.

“No,” the teen responded. “Austin was a leader and he protected us.”

Video evidence further dismantled claims that Anthony had been cornered or threatened by a mob. Footage showed Metcalf confronting Anthony alone. According to witness testimony, Metcalf explicitly told Anthony he was not going to fight him.

Meanwhile, supporters of Anthony have maintained a presence outside the courthouse since the start of the trial, with some making inflammatory racial remarks and publicly attacking the victim. Authorities increased security around the courthouse early Tuesday morning amid concerns about possible unrest following the verdict.

Civil War Erupts At ‘60 Minutes’ As Remaining Hosts Heroically Threaten To Quit Someday, Maybe

Reporters at CBS’s “60 Minutes” are reportedly locked in a brutal internal civil war after several top stars courageously announced they would continue cashing paychecks while issuing a strongly worded ultimatum against the network’s leadership.

Veteran correspondents Lesley Stahl, Bill Whitaker and Jon Wertheim confirmed they had considered leaving the program after a string of firings rocked the newsroom, but ultimately decided they “don’t want to see ‘60 Minutes’ die,” mostly because they still need somewhere to dramatically sigh on camera every Sunday night.

The trio released a fiery statement declaring that “newsrooms are not supposed to be run like dictatorships,” stunning viewers who had long assumed every newsroom was actually run by caffeine, panic and 14 producers yelling “we’re losing daylight.”

CBS executives reportedly fired longtime correspondent Scott Pelley after he detonated during a staff meeting and informed new executive producer Nick Bilton that his qualifications were “slender,” which insiders described as the most devastating insult ever delivered by a man wearing a $4,000 suit while seated in ergonomic outrage.

Bilton, who was brought in by CBS editor-in-chief Bari Weiss, allegedly received a chilly reception from Pelley, who accused Weiss of “murdering” the show, marking the first confirmed homicide committed entirely through editorial meetings and Slack messages.

According to Stahl, Whitaker and Wertheim, producers Tanya Simon and Draggan Mihailovich were removed without explanation.

“As far as we can tell, because no explanation has ever been offered, they were expelled because they fought for our ‘60 Minutes’ values and stood up to protect our independence and integrity,” the correspondents wrote, bravely defending the sacred journalistic tradition of angrily confronting billion-dollar corporations while remaining employed by them.

“We want to express how sorry we are that these principled, fair and honest journalists were treated so shabbily, with such indecency. Tanya deserves to be celebrated, not cruelly cast off. Draggan too. It’s been heartbreaking,” they added, before returning to the newsroom where everyone now reportedly communicates through passive-aggressive eye contact and carefully worded memos.

The group also praised former staffers Sharyn Alfonsi, Cecilia Vega and Scott Pelley.

“This goes for Sharyn, Cecilia and Scott as well, all at the top of the world of TV journalism who exemplified 60 Minutes’ ethos of tough questions and honest storytelling,” they wrote, moments before executives held another emergency meeting titled “Please Stop Calling Each Other Fascists In The Conference Room.”

Despite the turmoil, the correspondents insisted their decision to stay should not be interpreted as support for management.

They warned that remaining at CBS is “categorically not the case” when it comes to endorsing leadership, a distinction experts say is similar to remaining aboard the Titanic strictly to criticize iceberg navigation policies.

The journalists also cautioned they could still leave in the future if the show drifts further from independent journalism.

“If we can continue doing the work that made this show what it is, committing acts of independent, fearless journalism and storytelling, we’re here for it. If not, we leave.”

At press time, CBS denied accusations of political interference, insisting the network’s only interference involves the standard newsroom practice of executives quietly setting everything on fire while assuring reporters it’s completely normal.

San Diego Sunni Mosque shooting: both shooting suspects deader than the Ayatollah

San Diego Police rolled out Monday afternoon after reports of an active shooter at the Islamic Center of San Diego. That kicked off a massive law enforcement response and evacuations around the mosque.

The San Diego Police Department said officers were on scene at the Islamic Center in the 7000 block of Eckstrom Avenue and told everyone to stay the hell away while they locked the place down.

Police Chief Scott Wahl said Monday that both suspects involved in the shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego are dead and that all children connected to nearby schools are safe.

Wahl said police received the initial call reporting an active shooter at 11:43 a.m. Officers arrived within four minutes and immediately encountered what appeared to be three deceased victims outside the mosque.

As officers set up a SWAT response for a nearby school campus, they also got reports of gunfire a couple blocks away. That brought more cops rushing to a second scene at the same time.

At least three adult victims, including a security guard, were killed following an active shooter incident near the Islamic Center of San Diego in the Clairemont area on Monday.

The security guard shot to death “played a pivotal role” in stopping more casualties, San Diego Police Chief Scott Wahl said at a press conference.

Police confirmed two male suspects, aged 17 and 19, died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds. On Monday, the San Diego Police Department said officers responded to the center located at 7050 Eckstrom Avenue following reports of gunfire.

“The threat at the Islamic center has been neutralized,” the police department said on social media. “Media staging has been established as the Northwest Corner of Lindbergh Park.”

An eyewitness told CBS he called 911 after hearing what he believed were about 30 gunshots.“We were concerned and putting out heads down inside the house,” the man said to a local reporter.

Grand Jury Indicts Failed Trump Assassin, Adds 4th Charge

A Grand Jury on Tuesday tacked on a fourth charge and formally indicted the scumwafer accused of attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The four-count indictment charges Cole Tomas Allen with attempting to assassinate the president, assaulting an officer with a deadly weapon, transporting a firearm and ammunition across state lines with intent to commit a felony, and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence.

Allen, 31, was armed with a shotgun, a handgun, and several knives when he charged through a security checkpoint inside the Washington Hilton hotel, where the event was being held.

One floor above the ballroom filled with government officials and reporters, Allen fired one of his weapons, striking a Secret Service agent. Early reports suggested the agent may have been hit by friendly fire, but U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro later confirmed the officer was shot by the gunman.

“It is definitively his bullet, he hit at that Secret Service agent, he had every intention to kill him and anyone who got in his way on his way to killing the president of the United States,” Pirro told CNN over the weekend. “This was a premeditated, violent act, calculated to take down the president and anyone who was in the line of fire.”

The indictment and new charges come as a federal magistrate judge expressed deep sympathy for the suspect.

“I’m sorry,” Judge Faruqui told Allen, who was reportedly held in solitary confinement. “Whatever you’ve been through, I apologize for that now.”

Jail officials placed Allen on a temporary suicide watch that required 24-hour-a-day placement in a padded cell. The judge complained that those measures were punitive and not based on a medical assessment.

“Welcome to Washington, DC, where U.S. Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui believes a defendant armed to the teeth and attempting to assassinate the president is entitled to preferential treatment in his confinement compared to every other defendant,” Pirro posted on social media. The Daily Wire previously reported that Judge Faruqui has a soft-on-crime record, including releasing a man who attacked a member of Congress. He has also been a champion of DEI initiatives.

“As the first Muslim Judge to be appointed to the Federal Court in Washington D.C., Judge Faruqui has also devoted much of his career to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts,” reads a letter from the Washington Council of Lawyers supporting his nomination to the District Court of Columbia.

With the indictment unsealed, the case has been handed over to U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden, who was nominated by President Trump in 2017, according to CBS News.Allen is set to be arraigned on May 11. If convicted, he faces life in prison.

In a town famous for coddling its worst actors, this judge's weepy performance for a guy who rolled in like a one-man arsenal takes the cake. Leave it to Jeanine Pirro to cut through the nonsense and call it exactly what it was: a cold-blooded attempt on the president. At least the case is now in front of a Trump-appointed judge who might remember that protecting the country isn't optional.

Secret Service suspends 6 agents who failed at protecting President Trump last July

Photo: Getty Images
The Secret Service is in hot water, and they’re not skating by easy on this one. Six agents tasked with keeping President Donald Trump safe during that wild July 2024 assassination attempt in Pennsylvania have been suspended with no pay, no benefits, nada. We’re talking 10 to 42 days of eating ramen and staring at the wall, according to Secret Service Deputy Director Matt Quinn, who spilled the beans to CBS News. “We weren’t going to fire [our] way out of this,” Quinn said, but they’re “laser focused on fixing the root cause of the problem.”

They screwed up, and they know it.

Those agents are back on duty, but they’ve been demoted to glorified desk jockeys with "restricted roles" and less responsibility. Quinn called it a "federally mandated process," which sounds like bureaucratic speak for "we followed the rulebook, now let’s move on."

Let’s rewind to July 13, 2024, in Butler, Pennsylvania. A gunman, Thomas Crooks, somehow got the drop on the Secret Service, climbing onto a nearby roof and unloading toward Trump’s rally stage.

Absolute chaos. Trump’s ear got grazed, two other guys were hit, and Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old firefighter, dad, and husband, was killed. Absolutely heartbreaking. A Secret Service sniper took Crooks out, but the damage was done. Quinn didn’t mince words: “Secret Service is totally accountable for Butler,” he told CBS. “Butler was an operational failure and we are focused today on ensuring that it never happens again.”

Thank you, Sergeant Obvious.

The agency’s been under a microscope since, and deservedly so. They’re scrambling to fix what Quinn called the "root cause" of this disaster, rolling out fancy new toys like military-grade drones and mobile command posts to tighten up comms with local cops. But the hits kept coming.

Photo: Getty Images

Weeks later, another assassination attempt on Trump went down in West Palm Beach, Florida. It got stopped, thank God, but the heat was too much for then-Director Kimberly Cheatle, who bailed after the backlash. Congressional hearings and investigations piled on, and a bipartisan House task force dropped a 180-page bombshell in December, calling Butler "preventable." They ripped into the Secret Service for leadership screw-ups and training gaps that "created an environment" where this kind of failure could happen. Oh, and they didn’t exactly play nice with local law enforcement either. Shocker.

Meanwhile, Corey Comperatore’s widow, Helen, sat down with Fox News’ Alexis McAdams to talk about her loss. That’s the human cost is something the Secret Service can’t just drone their way out of.

CBS president resigns amid '60 Minutes' legal dispute with Trump

Well, it looks like the corporate clown car at CBS just lost another passenger. Wendy McMahon, the big cheese at CBS News and Stations, announced she’s bailing on the network faster than you can say “abandon ship!”

Poor Wendy is apparently not vibing with the suits at Paramount, CBS’ parent company, as they scramble to settle a $20 billion lawsuit from President Donald Trump. You know, the one where he claims “60 Minutes” played fast and loose with an interview of Kamala Harris to make her look less like incompetent and possibly even sober during her presidential campaign.

McMahon, in her goodbye note, called her time at CBS “a privilege and joy,” but admitted the last few months have been “challenging.”

No kidding, Wendalah.

Trying to keep a straight face while navigating Paramount’s legal and political minefield must’ve been like juggling flaming torches on a unicycle with a flat tire. She didn’t mince words, saying, “It’s become clear that the company and I do not agree on the path forward.” Translation: I’m outta here before this clusterfrack before it worse.

The drama doesn’t stop there. McMahon’s exit comes hot on the heels of her backing “60 Minutes” veteran Bill Owens, who stormed off last month in a hissy fit because he couldn’t steer the show’s direction.

Apparently, Paramount’s top dogs were sweating bullets over how the program was covering the Trump administration. Refusing to call him Hitler frequently enough to their satisfaction.

Meanwhile, Paramount’s big boss, Shari Redstone, is desperate to settle Trump’s lawsuit while begging his administration to green-light her plan to offload the company to Skydance. Talk about a tightrope walk.

And let’s not forget the cherry on this mess: Redstone publicly roasted CBS News last October after they slapped “CBS Mornings” anchor Tony Dokoupil on the wrist for daring to ask anti-Semite and fake race expert, Ta-Nehisi Coates some real questions about the Israel-Gaza conflict.

McMahon told Dokoupil he broke “the preproduction process where questions are run through Race and Culture and Standards and Practice.” Redstone wasn’t having it, calling the reprimand “a mistake” and adding, “I think we all agree that this was not handled correctly.”

When your boss’s boss is throwing shade like that, you know the writing’s on the wall.

If you enjoy my blog, feel free to toss a virtual coffee my way on Buy Me a Coffee – it’s like a high-five with caffeine, and coffee keeps me focused. No pressure, it's your call.

McMahon’s sticking around for a few weeks to hand over the keys to Tom Cibrowski, a 30-year ABC News vet, and Jennifer Mitchell, who wrangles CBS’ 27 owned stations across 17 markets. Good luck to them; they’re going to need it.

As for McMahon, she’s probably already sipping a margarita somewhere, far away from Paramount’s circus. Can’t say I blame her.

"60 Minutes" host asks freed hostage if Hamas starved him because they didn't have enough food: ripped a new one

"60 Minutes" host Lesley Stahl is definitely not the brightest light on the Chanukah bush. She appears to be sympathetic to Hamassholes after she showed her hand during a Sunday night interview with an Israeli who had been held hostage by the terror group.

Bottle-blonde Stahl asked Keith Siegel whether the Hamas terrorists starved him on purpose or whether they didn’t have enough food to give him. Evidently she missed the videos of Hamas stealing the food from the myriad trucks Israel sent to Gaza, keeping it for themselves and not allowing the Gazans to benefit from Israel's beneficence.

Lesley Stahl is either an idiot or a pro-Hamas stooge, or both.

During the CBS News program, she spoke to several hostages who had recently been freed from the terror group's clutches and returned to their families. Stahl spoke to Siegel, along with Tal Shalom, and Yarden Bibas — the man whose wife and two young children were murdered while in captivity — learning details about their horrific experiences living in Hamas-controlled tunnels in Gaza.

While Siegel discussed how his captors treated him, he stated that after his wife, Aviva, was released from captivity, Hamas became "very mean and very cruel and violent."

Yeah, killing babies and their mom is cruel and violent if you ask most people other than Lesley Stahl.

"They were beating me and starving me," Siegel said. Stahl followed by asking idiotically, "Do you think they starved you because or they just didn’t have food?"

Siegel denied that his torturers didn’t have enough food, recounting, "No, I think they starved me, and they would often eat in front of me and not offer me food."

The former hostage and his wife were kidnapped from their kibbutz during Hamas’ terror attack in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. Siegel spent 484 days in "unimaginable conditions" in Hamas captivity but don't tell that to Leslie Stahl.

The ex-hostage also recounted how he was only allowed to bathe once a month by pouring a cup of water over his head into a bucket, and described witnessing Hamas members sexually assaulting female hostages.

Stahl’s question prompted backlash on social media platform X.

The U.S. organization "StopAntisemitism" wrote, "Ridiculous moment on @60Minutes: Lesley Stahl asks hostage Keith Siegel if Hamas starved him because they had no food. He shuts her down. Hamas not only starved him, they ate in front of him, mocked him, sexually humiliated him, and forced him to watch female hostages being tortured."

It added, "Meanwhile, @CBS pushes Hamas casualty numbers and falsely claims Israel ended the ceasefire. Hamas ended it."

Jewish journalist Ari Hoffman savaged Stahl over the question, stating, "She should ask the Nazis if they meant to starve the Jews in the Holocaust or didn't have enough aid."

Pro-Israel account "Jews Fight Back" posted, "Lesley Stahl looked a Jewish hostage in the face—after being starved, tortured, beaten, and dragged through hell—and asked if maybe Hamas didn’t mean to starve him. Maybe they just didn’t have food. Are you f--- kidding me? Shame on 60 Minutes. Shame on CBS. And shame on every apologist who still can’t admit that Hamas is pure evil."

A Jewish activist account, "Vivid," declared, "I can't believe my eyes. Lesley Stahl had the audacity to ask a Jewish hostage, who was tortured and starved by Hamas, if Hamas really meant to starve him or if they just didn't have enough food. Is this a joke? How the hell can she even ask him that?"

Answer: She is able to ask that because a) she is an idiot; or b) she is a pro-Hamas sympathizer; or c) she is a pro-Hamas sympathizing idiot.

Am Yisrael Chai!

"I pour my heart into these posts, and if they’ve sparked something for you, I’d be thrilled if you’d treat me to a coffee over at Buy Me a Coffee – totally optional, of course!"

Waltz tells Iran to give up their nukes program "or there will be consequences"

National Security Advisor Mike Waltz told Iran on Sunday that if they refuse to dump their entire nuclear program, they will face consequences.

Waltz, appearing on CBS' "Face the Nation," said that it's time for Iran to "walk away completely" from its pursuit of nuclear weapons, pushing for a "full dismantlement."

"This isn't some kind of, you know, kind of tit-for-tat that we had under the Obama administration or Biden," Waltz said. "This is the full program. Give it up or there will be consequences."

Waltz obviously didn't tip his hand by saying exactly what those consequences would be, but he was clear that President Trump is keeping "all options on the table," and didn't rule out diplomacy.

He went on to explain that the administration wants Iran, the largest sponsor of global terrorism, to ditch its nuclear program "in a way that the entire world can see."

"If [Iran] had nuclear weapons, the entire Middle East would explode in an arms race," Waltz said. "That is completely unacceptable to our national security. I won't get into what the back-and-forth has been, but Iran is in the worst place it has been from its own national security since 1979."

Since Hezbollah launched attacks on Israel immediately after Hamas attacked the Jewish state on October 7, 2023, tensions between Tehran and the US have been very high. And to increase that tension, Iran directly fired upon Israel twice in 2024.

Never a blushing flower, President Trump threatened to use the military if Iran doesn't negotiate a new agreement on its nuclear program. Although Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says he isn't interested in talks with a "bullying government," he's been reported to have been changing his skivvies on unusually high occasions and Iranian diplomats such as Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had previously suggested talks could be the way to go. However, he talked tougher once Khamenei made his comment.

The original 2015 nuclear deal negotiated under former weak President Barack Obama allowed Iran to enrich uranium up to only 3.67% purity and to maintain a uranium stockpile of 661 pounds. The International Atomic Energy Agency's last report on Iran’s program put its stockpile at 18,286 pounds as it enriches a fraction of it to 60% purity. And we can bet that Iran was secretly enriching uranium much higher than that level of purity.

If you would like to support my work, you can Buy Me A Coffee or subscribe to Brain Flushings, or you can even do both. Thank you.

U.S. intelligence agencies assess that Iran has yet to begin a weapons program, but has "undertaken activities that better position it to produce a nuclear device, if it chooses to do so."

Anyone who knows anything about the Iranian mindset is aware that once they produce a nuclear weapon, they are not going to allow it to collect dust.

USAID bribed Time Magazine with $4 million to name Zelenskyy "Person of the Year"

As Elon Musk's team known as DOGE sniffs out the rot in government, it has been discovered that USAID paid Time magazine $4,000,000 to name Volodymyr Zelenskyy "Person of the Year." This might be surprising to some people as Ukraine's leader isn't gay or a transgender, but should we really be surprised?

Is there any media outlet on the left that wasn't on USAID's payroll?

Thankfully, DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) has put the rot in the sunlight where people can now see it for themselves. Had they not, we taxpayers would never know how much our government wastes.

CBS Hands Over Harris Interview Transcript Amid Trump's Legal Onslaught

In a move that could only be described as the latest dance in the long, bizarre ballet between now President Donald Trump and the legacy media, CBS, has decided to turn over an unedited transcript of its October interview with Vice President Kamala Harris to the FCC. This comes as part of Trump's ongoing, feud with the network over how it handled a story about his political adversary.

Trump, never one to shy away from a legal skirmish, has slapped CBS with a $10 million lawsuit, accusing them of "deceptively editing" the "60 Minutes" segment to paint Harris in a saintly light. The whispers around town suggest that CBS' parent company, Paramount, might be looking to settle out of court, perhaps eager to avoid further entanglement in Trump's web.

The network, under the stern gaze of Brendan Carr, Trump's FCC appointee, has been compelled to expose the raw footage and transcripts, a move that "60 Minutes" has historically resisted, valuing their editorial discretion like a dragon guards its treasure.

"60 Minutes" insists that the clips aired on "Face the Nation" and later on their show were from a single, extended response by Harris, edited for time rather than deceit. Yet, Trump's lawsuit, filed with the dramatic flair one might expect in Texas, claims this was not just editing but a "partisan and unlawful act of voter interference."

Interestingly, Trump himself dodged an interview with "60 Minutes" during the campaign, perhaps knowing too well the dance of media manipulation. His legal battles persist, even after clinching the election, demonstrating a tenacity that is either commendable or exhausting, depending on your viewpoint.

CBS has remained tight-lipped about any settlement talks, but the Wall Street Journal and New York Times have both reported on these potential backroom deals. This legal drama unfolds as Paramount seeks approval for a sale to Skydance, suggesting that business interests might just be the silent puppeteer here.

Meanwhile, ABC News has already tasted the bitter end of crossing Trump, settling for $15 million towards his presidential library over comments made by George Stephanopoulos. Meta, too, has reportedly paid a hefty sum for the sin of suspending Trump's social media accounts post-Capitol riot, showing that even giants must bow to the litigious might of Trump.

This case, watched eagerly by press freedom advocates and journalists alike, serves as a stark reminder of the power dynamics at play when media, politics, and law intersect. CBS's lawyers have labeled Trump's lawsuit "completely without merit," yet the fight continues, perhaps proving that in the world of media and politics, the battle is as much about the spectacle as it is about the substance.

Illegal alien who 'allegedly' immolated woman on NYC subway indicted

Illegal alien Sebastian Zapeta, 33, is accused of setting a woman on fire, killing her as he fanned the flames with his coat, has been indicted by a grand jury, which in New York, may be considered surprising since the woman was white.

The woman's name has not been confirmed by the NYPD but it was posted on X that her name is alleged to be Amelia Carter.

The horrific attack occurred on Sunday and people in the vicinity, including a police officer--I've been told--did nothing but look on to watch.

Zapeta was charged with murder and arson on Monday and the indictment was returned Friday.

Charges are issued when a prosecutor formally accuses someone of a crime, but an indictment happens when a grand jury decides there's enough evidence, presented by the prosecutor, to charge someone.

Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced to reporters that the indictment against Zapeta will be made public on January 7. If Zapeta is found guilty on the most serious charge, he could face life in prison without the possibility of parole.

"This was a malicious deed. A sleeping, vulnerable woman on our subway system," Gonzalez stated, as reported by the Associated Press.

The incident took place on a Sunday where Zapeta was seen on video surveillance watching an unidentified woman stand in a subway car while she was burning. The video also captured other passengers, including a police officer, passing by without intervening.

Investigators have stated that Zapeta and the woman had no prior relationship or interaction before Zapeta allegedly lit a lighter and threw it at her. She was a stranger, a victim of our empty-suited leaders who do nothing about our nation's sovereignty,

“The suspect used what we believe to be a lighter to ignite the victim’s clothing, which became fully engulfed in a matter of seconds,” NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said Sunday at a press conference on CBS.

Finally, officers and a transit worker grabbed a fire extinguisher and attempted to save the woman, but she died on the scene, CBS reported.

“Unbeknownst to the officers who responded, the suspect had stayed on the scene and was seated on a bench on the platform just outside the train car, and the body worn cameras on the responding officers produced a very clear, detailed look at the killer,” Tisch said on Sunday. “Three high school age New Yorkers called 911 to say that they recognize the suspect. They saw something and they said something, and they did something.”

Big effing deal. At least the kids did something but no bystander had the guts to help her.

Zapeta, an obvious piece of human waste, reportedly entered the U.S. illegally in 2018 during the first Trump administration. He was deported within days but then re-entered the U.S. again and traveled to New York where he was living in a migrant shelter.

The New York Post reported that it is unknown how long he had been in New York, but law enforcement sources told the outlet that the man stayed at multiple taxpayer-funded migrant shelters around New York City. Those same sources told the Post that the suspect’s previous criminal history is “largely clean” except for entering the country illegally.

Again, big effing deal. Just because his previous record is "largely clean," suggesting that it wasn't "squeaky clean," doesn't mean it was okay for him to be in the country living off of taxpayer money. And the "largely clean" no longer seems to apply.

We elected Donald Trump to fix this problem among the many others the Biden administration has created. Let's hope he can do it--we know he will try his level best.

6 Debate rules: Trump will have gag order in debate vs. Biden and guess who's excluded

Alleged President Joe Biden and former President Donald J. Trump, will debate . . . sort of. The ground rules and plans for the debate will have strings attached in order to help the brain addled Biden deal with the more energetic, sharper and wittier Trump.

After Trump gave Biden an open invitation to debate anytime, anywhere, Biden's handlers rose to the challenge. But of course, the Biden team had to tilt the field to his advantage, which still may be problematic as Biden tends to have problems with tilts and stairs. So with Biden's mumbled announcement a letter followed from his campaign to the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), which stated several critical limits that Biden's handlers placed on any debate with Trump.

Here are a few, some real, some not so much.

1. No Audience because Biden's handlers criticized the CPD for making debates "huge spectacles with large audiences." This makes Joe uncomfortable when people listen to his every word.

2. Toilet breaks every ten minutes. Biden's handlers know their candidate and will do everything they can to avoid unnecessary embarrassing moments. Furthermore, they know that should there be insufficient toilet breaks, former President Donald J. Trump will jump at the chance to comment on what Joe just did.

3. The debates must take place in a television studio with just the candidates and the moderator present. Naturally, there will be camera men and women as well as transgender, lesbian, and queer camera people allowed.

"The debates should be conducted for the benefit of the American voters, watching on television and at home – not as entertainment for an in-person audience with raucous or disruptive partisans and donors, who consume valuable debate time with noisy spectacles of approval or jeering. As was the case with the original televised debates in 1960, a television studio with just the candidates and moderators is a better, more cost-efficient way to proceed: focused solely on the interests of voters," Biden's handlers wrote.

4. RFK Jr. is not allowed to debate because he's very smart and his vocal disorder may create an unfair sympathy advantage. And he's smart. No other 3rd party candidates will be allowed to be at the debate no matter what the U.S. Constitution says.

"The debates should be one-on-one, allowing voters to compare the only two candidates with any statistical chance of prevailing in the Electoral College – and not squandering debate time on candidates with no prospect of becoming President," Biden's handlers wrote.

Kennedy condemned his ban from the deabte in a post on X, accusing both Trump and Biden of colluding to block him from the debate stage.

5. No conservative news outlets will host any debate, especially not Fox News, Daily Wire, New York Post, Epoch Times, Washington Post, or Breitbart News. If there is going to be a slant in the news, it should be slanted toward the current POTUS, although as previously stated, the current POTUS doesn't negotiate slants very well so he will be wearing sneakers.

This demand set limits the networks that can host a debate to CNN, ABC, CBS or Telemundo.

6. Candidate's mics will mute once their time expires. This is to prevent Trump from making a snappy remark or challenging the veracity of Biden's lies, and to keep Biden from making a confused one.

"There should be firm time limits for answers, and alternate turns to speak – so that the time is evenly divided and we have an exchange of views, not a spectacle of mutual interruption. A candidate’s microphone should only be active when it is his turn to speak, to promote adherence to the rules and orderly proceedings," the handlers wrote.

Former President Donald J. Trump accepted the Biden team's restrictions and the first debate is scheduled for June 27 and will be hosted by the Commie News Network (CNN).

"I am Ready and Willing to Debate Crooked Joe at the two proposed times in June and September," Trump posted. "I would strongly recommend more than two debates and, for excitement purposes, a very large venue, although Biden is supposedly afraid of crowds – That’s only because he doesn’t get them. Just tell me when, I’ll be there. ‘Let’s get ready to Rumble!!!’"

So who will come out the winner in the upcoming debates? Trump, who people seem to love or hate with no in-between? Or Biden, who is going to need a boatload of drugs to get him through these debates without looking like Bernie, on the weekend?

For Trump not being allowed to interrupt, will be like a gag order. At least he's used to it.

Rose Hanbury sends Stephen Colbert legal notice re: jokes about Prince William affair

Former comedian and "The Late Show" host Stephen Colbert, reportedly received a legal notice by the lawyers of Marchioness of Cholmondeley, Rose Hanbury after he recently tried to be funny about her having an unsubstantiated affair with Prince William.

"The rumor appears to have entered into the mainstream media recently as a result of another joke made about it on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,'" Hanbury's attorneys told In Touch Weekly on Thursday. "We have written on our client’s behalf to CBS and various other reputable media organisations to confirm that the allegation is false."

The unfunny joke was said on March 12 "The Late Show." Colbert joked at Hanbury's expense as he speculated about Kate Middleton.

"The kingdom has been all a flutter by the seeming disappearance of Kate Middleton. Well now, internet sleuths are guessing that Kate’s absence may be related to her husband and the future King of England William having an affair," Colbert told his audience. "So, I think we all know who the alleged other woman. Say it with me –– the Marchioness of Cholmondeley –– what a beautiful name!"

The former comedian mentioned how the rumors first bubbled up in 2019. "According to tabloids back then, when Kate supposedly confronted him about it, he laughed it off saying 'there was nothing to it.' Aha! Always a good response when your wife accuses you of cheating. ‘Ha ha, imagine me having an affair!' It is to laugh," using a British accent.

Following weeks of rumors about Kate's absence from the public after abdominal surgery, the Princess of Wales, 42, revealed on Friday that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

"I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery," Kate said in the video recorded Wednesday. "It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful."

"The Princess will return to official duties when she is cleared to do so by her medical team," a Kensington Palace spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "She is in good spirits and is focused on making a full recovery."

The Princess of Wales explained that after her abdominal surgery, it was initially believed her condition was "non-cancerous." However, further testing showed "cancer had been present," and she was advised to start chemotherapy by her medical team.

So let's see what comes of this situation. Thank goodness he isn't Trump.

CBS pressured into returning Catherine Herridge's files

After CBS fired their best journalist, Catherine Herridge, they seized her files, all her records and her computers. She was in the midst of pursuing several stories regarding Joe Biden and his family, as well as other investigations.

When Herridge's union, SAG-AFTRA heard what CBS did, they condemned their actions and demanded they return her files. The union said that this was a dangerous precedent and was a threat to the First Amendment.

The House Judiciary Committee Chair demanded to know who was behind her termination and all the documents related to her firing/the seizing of her files.

They wanted answers by March 1st.

CBS was taken by surprise by the blowback they received and released a statement that claimed they never actually "seized" her files and went on to claim that her office had been secured and they respected her wishes not to go through her files, and pinky-swore they didn't do anything that they got caught doing, and the cookie jar was already broken, so don't tell mom.

According to sources, who wished to remain alive, someone at CBS only boxed up Herridge's personal belongings but not her files. What does that tell you?

Obviously they were forced into walking it back and have now turned over her files, as the New York Post reports.

“Catherine Herridge’s union representative picked up her materials this morning,” a CBS News rep said on Monday, pretending it was all standard operating procedure, hoping nobody would notice.

“This was a standard HR conversation about materials in her office, which Catherine then referred to her union representative,” a spokesperson claimed.

Herridge reportedly faced "roadblocks from higher-ups" in her coverage of Hunter Biden, the drug-addled, whore mongering son of Joe Biden, and this put her on the wrong side of CBS president Ingrid Ciprian-Matthews. The question is, was the CBS reverse moonwalk about the Biden crime family or about her wrongful termination?

As of now, it isn't known who dropped the hatchet down on Herridge; it may have come from Ciprian-Matthews, CBS News CEO Wendy McMahon or CBS CEO George Cheeks. However, a top CBS source said that neither Cheeks or McMahon were involved in the decision to hold onto the files.

As they say in Iran, "heads will roll," if it's discovered, because the public will demand it.

If CBS fails to provide this information requested by the House Judiciary Committee by March 1st, they may get subpoenas to further explain their tardiness.

Now that the problem is in her backyard, NY Gov. Hochul says border is “too open right now"

Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) has finally seen what it means to be a so called “sanctuary” for illegal migrants flooding into the state and cities. When the problems you caused are elsewhere and you sound more virtuous and tolerant than those who live in the places where the problems migrated to, that’s just fine. But when the problems you caused come back to haunt you and possibly become an obstacle for you to remain in power, well, you have second thoughts.

In Hochul’s case, she now wants to “limit” those who illegally cross the southern border and says that the door to the nation is “too open right now."

So she now calls on House Leader Kevin McCarthy and Republicans to reach "comprehensive immigration reform” with our barely sentient President.

Hypocrisy much?

Hochul repeated the GOP talking points on the immigration crisis on CBS’s “Face the Nation” with host Margaret Brennan, who noted that there were no border provisions in the deal struck by McCarthy this past weekend to avoid government shutdown. Brennan asked Hochul what she would like Congress to get done in the next 45 days.

"Well, shame on Speaker McCarthy and the Republicans in Congress, including the nine from New York State, who are complaining like crazy about the migrants but refuse to work with President Biden and come up with a sensible border strategy. It can be done. This can be done in a bipartisan way. Comprehensive immigration reform,” Hochul ironically said.

Brennan then asked what she specifically wanted from Congress to deal with the migrant crisis in New York State.

"Well, we want them to have a limit on who can come across the border. It is too open right now," Hochul said. "People coming from all over the world are finding their way through simply saying they need asylum. And the majority of them seem to be ending up in the streets of New York. And that is a real problem for New York City, 125,000 newly arrived individuals. And we are being taxed.”

"We are always so proud of the fact that New York has the Statue of Liberty in our harbor. We are one of the most diverse places on Earth because of our welcoming nature, and it's in our DNA to welcome immigrants. But there has to be some limits in place. And Congress has to put more controls at the border and not in this budget threat, shutdown threat, talk about eliminating positions for Border Patrol when we actually need to double or quadruple those numbers. So, get back to work and do your jobs," Hochul added.

In 2021 Hochul declared New York as a sanctuary state, but once reality set in, not so much as over 125,000 illegal aliens have arrived in New York City since last year. She also worked with the Biden administration to expedite work authorizations and delay deportations for Venezuelans who claim to be seeking asylum, and also want services and are willing to take jobs from U.S. citizens who are not Venezuelans nor illegally entered the country.

Currently, Hochul has activated a total of 2,200 National Guard personnel to do the paperwork and case management for the state rather than actually guarding anything.

Even New York City Mayor Eric Adams, another Democrat, is upset with the Biden administration for making the city have to live up to its promise to be a sanctuary.

Docs found in Biden's office contained "Top Secret" material

Look, look, look, man, I mean it.

CBS News reports that documents found at so called President Joe Biden's private office contained “top secret” materials

Federal law enforcement told the network of the top-secret information within the ten classified documents that were already recovered  from Biden's vice presidential office at Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C. The details of the material has not been shared but it doesn't sound good for the Big Guy.

According to CNN, the classified documents found at Biden's private academic office along with unclassified documents, contained U.S. intelligence memos and briefings on Ukraine, Iran, and the United Kingdom. The office was used by Biden while he was an honorary professor for the University of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2019, after leaving the vice presidency and prior to him somehow getting elected President.

Top-secret information is the highest level of security classification in the U. S. and unauthorized disclosure of this kind of material could cause “exceptionally grave damage to the national security,” according to Cornell Law School.

CBS News has learned that the classified documents recovered from the Penn Biden Center and President Biden’s Delaware home number roughly 20 and include materials marked “Top Secret.” Meanwhile, the White House continues to struggle to answer any questions. pic.twitter.com/4F9DgFYhhp

— CBS Evening News (@CBSEveningNews)
Biden’s obvious mishandling of documents is under investigation by the Justice Department. Attorney General Merrick Garland announced Thursday he appointed former U.S. Attorney Robert Hur as special counsel to take over the inquiry started by U.S. Attorney John Lausch. In addition, House Republicans began investigations into the festering Biden scandal.

Richard Sauber, special counsel to the president, said Biden's personal attorneys were removed from the office when they discovered the first tranche of documents on November 2, days before the midterm elections, and they immediately notified the National Archives. The existence of the records were not known publicly until this week when media reports revealed the existence of a DOJ review.

A second batch of classified documents were later found in Biden's Wilmington, DE home dating back to his vice presidency. And then on Saturday, the White House announced even more classified material was found there than was previously known.

Sauber said one document was found in a room adjacent to the garage on Wednesday, but lawyers stopped their search because they lacked security clearances. Sauber said he has the proper clearance and arrived at the home on Thursday to continue the search. “While I was transferring it to the DOJ officials who accompanied me, five additional pages with classification markings were discovered among the material with it, for a total of six pages,” Sauber said. “The DOJ officials with me immediately took possession of them.”

Biden earlier told reporters he was “surprised” to learn about the classified documents discovery, and claimed he did not know what was in the records. This might be true as Biden wouldn't remember if he read them and if he did, it's likely the information went over his head.

He says he takes classified documents "seriously," but do you really believe that?

Sauber says the White House is “fully cooperating” with the National Archives and the Justice Department because they have no choice.

CBS finally admits Hunter's laptop is real after the NY Post broke the story over 2 years ago

It took CBS "News" 769 days since the NY Post broke the story about Hunter Biden's laptop and the authenticity of the data found on its hard drive. When the Post broke the news Jack Dorsey's Twitter social media website and Facebook refused to have it posted and Joe Biden ended up winning the election. Many people said had they known about the laptop and its contents, they would have not voted for Dementia Joe.

So on Monday CBS "News" said it confirmed the authenticity of the data after The Post first revealed its contents ahead of the 2020 presidential election and the mainstream media refused to carry the story.

CBS correspondent Catherine Herridge, formerly of Fox News, reported that she received a copy of Hunter’s hard drive from former Delaware computer repairman John Paul Mac Isaac, and that Minnesota computer scientists led by former Secret Service computer crimes expert Mark Lanterman said the files appeared legitimate. Wow! Who'd a thunk?

Lanterman’s firm determined that the laptop’s contents accumulated over the course of time, as would be expected, and that there was no evidence that the documents were altered by outsiders.CBS news correspondent Catherine Herridge reported that she was able to confirm the authenticity of data in Hunter Biden’s former laptop.

Herridge did not specifically say which documents from the laptop were determined to be authenticated, including an infamous May 2017 email that described a 10% cut for the “big guy” as part of her reporting — but said that two sources confirmed to her that Joe Biden was the person identified as the “big guy.”

But let's not believe for one moment that anything is going to come of this. The Bidens seem to be untouchable.

“Two of Hunter Biden’s former business partners, including Tony Bobulinski, who received the email, told CBS News that the 10% ‘held by H for the big guy’ was shorthand for 10% held by Hunter for his father,” Herridge reported.

Chief Justice Roberts likely to call for FBI investigation into leaked SCOTUS draft: leftists pounce

As CBS reported, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts will probably order a full investigation by the FBI into the unprecedented leak of a draft majority opinion indicating the Court might overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade landmark ruling regarding abortion.

CBS Mornings tweeted Monday morning:
Chief Justice Roberts is likely to order a full investigation involving the FBI into the reported leak of a draft majority opinion, reports @JanCBS — as some question if it will throw the Supreme Court’s legitimacy into question. pic.twitter.com/rJsIlQqjEU

— CBS Mornings (@CBSMornings)
While it isn't yet known who in the Court released the leaked draft, Politico was the first to report on it Monday evening.

Roberts, who is obviously not a constitutional contextualist, was initially said to have not signed on with majority opinion along with the other five conservative justices who allegedly held that “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start.”

Textualism interprets the U.S. Constitution with a focus on the plain meaning of the text of a legal document and emphasizes how the wording in the Constitution would be understood by people at the time they were ratified and the context in which those terms appear.

Justice Alito writes in the draft of the majority opinion:
“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled. It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
Politico reported, “The three Democratic-appointed justices – Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan – are working on one or more dissents, according to the person. How Chief Justice John Roberts will ultimately vote, and whether he will join an already written opinion or draft his own, is unclear.” Because Roberts never wants to "rock the boat," and Sotomayor is a dolt.

After the leak on Monday night, the typical crowd of unattractive abortion supporters comprised of people with birth canals and others with twigs and berries, appeared near the Supreme Court building, along with supporters of those who do not agree that innocent babies should be killed.

Some experts believe the leak was a political move to pressure the justices and throw shade on the other issues leftists worry or whine about: the filibuster, Joe Biden's brain atrophy, and the November midterm elections.

Carrie Severino, president of the Judicial Crisis Network, told The Daily Wire “That type of leak is an outrageous betrayal of trust. The Supreme Court is the only institution in town that doesn’t leak, and to do this is a real attack on the institution of the court. Not to mention just an outrageous breach of trust to the justices to do so.”

So not only does Joe Biden leak, along with the rest of Capitol Hill in a different way, now we have a leak in the Supreme Court. If the leaker cannot be identified, perhaps all the clerks need to go. But with the FBI on the case, we would have a better chance of finding him or her with The Paw Patrol.

Stephen Colbert: kind of a snobbish dickweed

Snobs are not usually aware of how obnoxious they are to others and former comedian Stephen Colbert definitely falls into that repugnant category.

In his CBS "Late Show" monologue Monday, explained to his low information audience  that “[S]ince the invasion [of Ukraine by Russia], oil prices have skyrocketed.”

“Today, the average gas price in America hit an all-time record high of over $4 per gallon. Okay, that stings, but a clear conscience is worth a buck or two,” said Colbert, who rakes in a cool $15 million per year with CBS and a "buck or two" is of no consequence to him.

But rather than commiserating with the audience, he pompously joked, “I’m willing to pay. I’m willing to pay $4 a gallon. Hell, I’ll pay $15 a gallon because I drive a Tesla.”

The former comedian then attempted to tell a joke about the US refusing to buy Russian oil and instead turning to another source.

“Take that, Putin! We’re not gonna buy our gas from a war criminal,” Colbert said. “We’re gonna buy it from the good guys, Saudi Arabia!”

Colbert is the oblivious guy you see at funerals in jeans telling crappy jokes and asking women to dance.

“‘I don’t mind paying $15 a gallon, cause I drive a Tesla’ is a joke that falls short and can only be appreciated by the upper class--especially the a-holes who made their money via capitalism but shun it because 'socialism is cool'. Colbert and his ilk are totally disconnected to those of us who must drive to work each day in our vehicles that cost a lot less than the $75,000 Tesla he drives.

Colbert used to be funny.

CBS implies Israel to blame for their defensive response in Gaza

Rockets fired from Gaza, most likely by the Hamasshole Gang who couldn't shoot straight, landed in the sea next to central Israel on New Year's Day. As Israeli media reported, two rockets launched from Hamas-run Gaza fell off the Palmachim coast, located south of Rishon Lezion and the second near the Tel Aviv coast.

Tel Aviv merges with other cities including Bnei Brak, Ramat Gan, Bat Yam, and Holon. Just a small deviation in course would have resulted in countless civilian death, so Israel did what any normal nation would do when threatened: they responded with a military strike.

The Associated Press reported this instance, and this time they reported without significant bias. But CBS took the AP reporting and while leaving it intact, they changed the title of the piece. The AP original which can be viewed on its website  here, was titled “Israeli jets hit militant targets in Gaza after rocket fire.” But the title CBS [which must stand for Creative BS] gave it was:  “Israel hits Gaza with airstrikes.” They ran the entire piece verbatim but changed the title and it wasn't until the fourth paragraph that the actual reason for Israel's response was revealed.

Many people lose interest in reading articles in full and CBS knows this. [If you've read this far, you're obviously more intelligent than CBS fans.]

This media bias by many outlets on the Left is clearly anti-Zionist, and by extension, anti-Semitic. When you criticize Israel for defensive responses, but not their enemies for the same actions, by definition this is anti-Semitic. And when the message is being distorted by the media in any way to suggest victimhood of Israel's enemies, while ignoring the events that preceded Israel's response, this is no different and is obviously anti-Semitic.

And this is exactly what CBS did by using syndicated copy by the AP and changing the headline to warp the actual event.

But don't think the AP has no fault in the matter. The story only got reported by international journalists after Israel responded to the attack. If only they had taken it like many of them did during the Holocaust, the story would have never been written.

Accordingly, the AP copy describes how “three huge explosions” were seen in the southern Gaza Strip while fighter jets were audible overhead. They also minimized the situation stating that “Gaza-based militant groups often test-fire missiles toward the sea.”

The AP also "forgets" to mention how the IAF frequently chooses unmanned targets to strike in Gaza in order to minimize human casualties, while Hamas frequently chooses targets in Israel to maximize human casualties. They simply stated that  “there was no immediate confirmation on possible casualties.”

Of all the nations on earth, no nation tries as hard to pinpoint retaliatory responses to the degree that Israel does, while, in spite of this, the press emphasizes the Palestinian casualties that may occur after Israel does what it can to deter terrorists who target anyone they can across the border.

In this case, however, CBS is really the one to blame. They wittingly changed the feel of the story by changing the title and they should be held accountable. This is worse than fake news--it's bias and disgusting but I doubt that anything will be done.
