Rose Hanbury sends Stephen Colbert legal notice re: jokes about Prince William affair

Former comedian and "The Late Show" host Stephen Colbert, reportedly received a legal notice by the lawyers of Marchioness of Cholmondeley, Rose Hanbury after he recently tried to be funny about her having an unsubstantiated affair with Prince William.

"The rumor appears to have entered into the mainstream media recently as a result of another joke made about it on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,'" Hanbury's attorneys told In Touch Weekly on Thursday. "We have written on our client’s behalf to CBS and various other reputable media organisations to confirm that the allegation is false."

The unfunny joke was said on March 12 "The Late Show." Colbert joked at Hanbury's expense as he speculated about Kate Middleton.

"The kingdom has been all a flutter by the seeming disappearance of Kate Middleton. Well now, internet sleuths are guessing that Kate’s absence may be related to her husband and the future King of England William having an affair," Colbert told his audience. "So, I think we all know who the alleged other woman. Say it with me –– the Marchioness of Cholmondeley –– what a beautiful name!"

The former comedian mentioned how the rumors first bubbled up in 2019. "According to tabloids back then, when Kate supposedly confronted him about it, he laughed it off saying 'there was nothing to it.' Aha! Always a good response when your wife accuses you of cheating. ‘Ha ha, imagine me having an affair!' It is to laugh," using a British accent.

Following weeks of rumors about Kate's absence from the public after abdominal surgery, the Princess of Wales, 42, revealed on Friday that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

"I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery," Kate said in the video recorded Wednesday. "It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful."

"The Princess will return to official duties when she is cleared to do so by her medical team," a Kensington Palace spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "She is in good spirits and is focused on making a full recovery."

The Princess of Wales explained that after her abdominal surgery, it was initially believed her condition was "non-cancerous." However, further testing showed "cancer had been present," and she was advised to start chemotherapy by her medical team.

So let's see what comes of this situation. Thank goodness he isn't Trump.

Stephen Colbert's staff arrested in U.S. House Building, snooping around GOP offices Adam Schiff was involved

Former comedian Stephen Colbert may be in trouble, but he has the invisible shield known as the Democratic Party to protect him, so nothing may come out of the fact that his crew was snooping around some of the GOP offices in the U.S. House of Representatives building.

The U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) on Thursday night arrested the group of Colbert staffers who work for the CBS "The Late. Show With Stephen Colbert." The group of nine insurrectionists were found near the offices of Republican House Members in the Longworth House Office Building where they were looking to conduct interviews related to the Jan. 6 committee hearings. They were originally told to leave but they returned that night and there were no USCP officers holding the door open for them, like they did on January 6th. Like that day, the building was closed to the public and the crew did not have permission to enter nor Capitol passes to legitimize their presence.

A senior source in the House revealed the names of Colbert's crew: Jake Plunkett, Allison Martinez, Tyrone Dean, Stephen Romond, Nicoletta Green, Brendan Hurley, Robert Smigel, Josh Comers, and David Feldman. They were charged with illegal entry to House office buildings after hours.

Fox News host Jesse Watters said in a segment of his Fox News show, "Jesse Watters Primetime," that Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Jake Auchincloss (D-MA) let Colbert’s staff in the building.

“On June 16, 2022, at approximately 8:30 p.m., U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) received a call for a disturbance in the Longworth House Office Building,” USCP said in a statement. “Responding officers observed seven individuals, unescorted and without Congressional ID, in a sixth-floor hallway.”

"Old Bug Eyes"

“The building was closed to visitors, and these individuals were determined to be a part of a group that had been directed by the USCP to leave the building earlier in the day,” the statement continued. “They were charged with Unlawful Entry. This is an active criminal investigation, and may result in additional criminal charges after consultation with the U.S. Attorney.”

It's going to be interesting to see if these nine clowns will end up languishing in prison for a year like the clowns who entered the building on Jan. 6. Maybe we can call this the 6/16 insurrection. The difference between the incidents are scant, just like the outcome is likely to be.

Stephen Colbert: kind of a snobbish dickweed

Snobs are not usually aware of how obnoxious they are to others and former comedian Stephen Colbert definitely falls into that repugnant category.

In his CBS "Late Show" monologue Monday, explained to his low information audience  that “[S]ince the invasion [of Ukraine by Russia], oil prices have skyrocketed.”

“Today, the average gas price in America hit an all-time record high of over $4 per gallon. Okay, that stings, but a clear conscience is worth a buck or two,” said Colbert, who rakes in a cool $15 million per year with CBS and a "buck or two" is of no consequence to him.

But rather than commiserating with the audience, he pompously joked, “I’m willing to pay. I’m willing to pay $4 a gallon. Hell, I’ll pay $15 a gallon because I drive a Tesla.”

The former comedian then attempted to tell a joke about the US refusing to buy Russian oil and instead turning to another source.

“Take that, Putin! We’re not gonna buy our gas from a war criminal,” Colbert said. “We’re gonna buy it from the good guys, Saudi Arabia!”

Colbert is the oblivious guy you see at funerals in jeans telling crappy jokes and asking women to dance.

“‘I don’t mind paying $15 a gallon, cause I drive a Tesla’ is a joke that falls short and can only be appreciated by the upper class--especially the a-holes who made their money via capitalism but shun it because 'socialism is cool'. Colbert and his ilk are totally disconnected to those of us who must drive to work each day in our vehicles that cost a lot less than the $75,000 Tesla he drives.

Colbert used to be funny.

AOC plays 'hide-and-seek' with New Yorkers

As Ben Shapiro says about the fresh face of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez [aka Alexandria Obviously-Communist] "so fresh . . . so face." But where is that face of the far-left living in New York? Only the Shadow knows, and perhaps Bernie Sanders.

AOC has no district office and no local phone number, unlike the state’s three other freshman members. She represents the Bronx and Queens but does she still live in the tony Parkchester neighborhood that has been tied to her coming to fame? After all, when she defeated fellow Democrat Rep. Joe Crowley, she accused him of being too "Washington-focused" because he lived in Virginia, but it appears as if she might be doing the same.

Hard to believe a Democrat would be hypocritical--condemning one thing and then doing exactly that which they condemn.

Just kidding. They do it all the time--the Trump wall is the latest example of that after Democrats like Schumer, Obama and Clinton, previously voted for a wall along the southern border and now refuse funding for it or call a wall "immoral."

The New York Post attempted to find out where AOC's New York digs are located but came up empty even after contacting her spokesman, Corbin Trent, four times with specific questions, all of which were ignored. The newspaper did say, however, that AOC had used her deceased father's Bronx condo on her voter registration since 2012, but there's no indication she still lives there.

On Saturday, The Post finally reached Trent by phone.

“We will not be commenting,” he said. Among the queries he refused to answer: Where does the congresswoman live?

On Saturday night, a staffer promised a Post reporter that the socialist congresswoman would talk to him after a speaking event in Corona where she spoke in an annoying voice and said the word "and" as if it had two syllables to make herself sound more important.

“Come downstairs, I have to take a picture quick,” AOC then told the reporter after the event, instructing him to wait for her. Twenty minutes later, she ducked out a back door, jumped into a chauffeured SUV, and quickly drove off.

Ocasio-Cortez was in New York City last weekend and this weekend, with appearances in Queens on both Saturdays — yet she was not seen coming or going from her Parkchester pad either day.

Her apartment’s next-door neighbor said she had never seen Ocasio-Cortez. Another neighbor, who has lived down the hall from the congresswoman’s apartment for the last 40 years, said he’d never seen her or her boyfriend, Riley Roberts, who has claimed the address as his own since last spring.

Could it be that socialists lie?

“I would have remembered,” said the neighbor when shown a photograph of the over-lipsticked Ocasio-Cortez.

Workers at Jerry’s Pizzeria, less than a block from her building, and at the local grocery store said she had never patronized their businesses — and a server at a nearby taqueria said the congresswoman had only come in to be filmed by news crews and pretending to be a local.

A postal worker who delivers mail to the building said that in the last 10 years he has only seen Ocasio-Cortez intermittently, and that several months’ worth of mail regularly accumulates in the mailbox before anyone bothers to collect it. The worker said that Ocasio-Cortez and Roberts were the only ones getting mail at the address.

“Just because their names are on the box doesn’t mean they live there,” he said.

In 2017, when she first filed paperwork to become a congressional candidate, she didn’t even know what district she lived in, mistakenly declaring plans to run for neighboring District 15 before correcting the error days later, but ask her how to mix a Rusty Nail and she'll spit it out like it's second nature.

However, in Washington, D.C.,  the "Princess of Sharing What's Yours" has rented a pad in a deluxe building in the ritzy Navy Yard neighborhood, where studios start at $1,840 a month, according to the Washington Examiner.

Her apartment feature gold-plated amenities like a rooftop infinity pool, a cycling studio with a dozen pricey Pelotons, men’s and women’s saunas, and a golf simulation lounge — but no affordable units for low-income residents, in spite of a local law that requires them, the news site reported. Hopefully, she'll get on the case and make the owners get those low-rentals in.

Since AOC's Trumpian-like defeat over the long-serving Crowley in June’s Democratic primary — a victory that all but guaranteed a general election win in the heavily Democratic District 14 — the expensively dressed congresswoman has failed to open a local office, likely being too busy measuring levels of cow farts and calculating ways to implement her Green New Deal and eliminate progress.

Ocasio-Cortez has made four trips to the city since she was inducted to Congress on Jan. 3, according to a Post review of published reports and social media. Those excursions featured five public events in her district — and three high-profile Manhattan appearances, including a Jan. 21 guest slot on “The Late Show with [former comedian] Stephen Colbert.”

Hopefully, AOC will be a one-term congresswoman along with her anti-Semitic girlfriends, Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. But it's obvious she will run again because for her, socialism pays.

I hope you'll follow Brain Flushings and have a few laughs while you get a conservative viewpoint. Politics is the new NFL without the mindless kneeling and this blog will both inform you and hopefully entertain you bigly.

Stephen Colbert writer: 'I'm just glad we ruined Brett Kavanaugh's life'

The Wicked Witch of the Worst
The swearing in of Justice Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court has just ended.--it's official. But a writer for the former comedy show, Stephen Colbert "Late Show" named Arial Dumas [pronounced "Dumb ass"] isn't happy for Kavanaugh.

Dumas tweeted: "I'm just glad we ruined Brett Kavanaugh's life."

Think about it. This person has so greatly personalized her hatred for someone she doesn't know, has never met and, I suspect has not read any of his legal decisions, that she is glad that his life was ruined over this. Her schadenfreude is very disturbing.

Dumas [remember how to pronounce her name, it's important] posted her bile on Saturday, referring to the damage she believes occurred to Kavanaugh's reputation based on empty, uncorroborated claims of sexual misconduct which he vehemently denied.

After Dumas posted on Twitter, she briefly made her account private, preventing others from seeing her disgusting, mean-spirited hatred without her approval. It isn't known if she showed them to her mother.

The tweet was posted as the Senate confirmed Kavanaugh, something that created a tropical rainstorm of liberal tears. After she was outed, Dumas apologized on Sunday, using the standard liberal lie that she was being "sarcastic" because Kavanaugh's elevation  to the Supreme Court showed that his life had not, in fact, been screwed up enough for her and his reputation derailed by the accusations as some in the GOP claimed.

She whiningly wrote: "The last couple of weeks have been hard for the country and for me personally. The complexity of frustration, anger and sadness can't be accurately conveyed on twitter, and I regret my tone-deaf attempt at sarcasm in the wake of it."

What Dumas was trying to say was that she is worried that Kavanaugh will somehow, singlehandedly, overturn Roe v Wade and prevent her from having an abortion in the state of her choice, something her mother didn't have with her.

Dumas' account had several other anti-Kavanaugh tweets. ?Brett Kavanaugh is 100% gonna ask Justic Sotomayor to fetch him coffee," she wrote on Saturday.
Unfunny and formerly relevant Stephen Colbert
She also attacked Kavanaugh in a Wall Street Journal op-ed, writing, "it is not automatically a moral achievement to be a son, a husband, a dad. It is biology, a legal decision, and biology again. Plenty of a--holes are all three."

But we are to believe women never lie because it's their biology, not a moral achievement.

Colbert, whose comedy has devolved and has become as funny as a box of dead kittens, has mocked Kavanaugh. He made fun of his first name--junior high school style--saying it "sounds less like a Supreme Court justice and more like a waiter at a Ruby Tuesday's."

Colbert's name sounds like that of a transgender hockey player--not that I have anything against either category.

Comedy is dead. No more going for laughs, just clapping by their trained seals.

Dennis Rodman waxes philosophical on Kim Jong Un

Guess what? Dennis Rodman believes that his buddy, Kim Jong Un, is probably a "madman," but the former NBA star admits "but [I] didn't see that." Rodman thinks Kim, the North Korean dictator for life and a guy who constantly threatens to destroy the United States with nuclear weapons is just . . . misunderstood.

And while Rodman admits that Kim is "probably" a madman, and probably the most dangerous leader in the world, he still doesn't see him in that light.

"When I went over there [to North Korea], the first thing he said to me was, 'Mr. Rodman, we just want to know, can we trust you?' I said, 'Absolutely.' And that's how our conversation started," Rodman told Stephen Colbert on "The Late Show."
Photo: Reuters

Rodman told Colbert that he doesn't judge people despite many reports about Kim's unethical behavior.

"I don't really judge people, you know, by their color," Rodman said. "I don't judge where they come from. I just judge people where, you know, we're all human beings. You know, throughout the day, we're all human beings."

That's very deep.

Rodman then waxed philosophical: "It's funny, though, that I don't see how people can sit there and say that this person is a 'madman.' He probably is, but I didn't see that. But he probably is."

But he didn't see that . . . but he probably is.

Sean Spicer causes Emmy's to be at all-time low

You can't blame Stephen Colbert for the toilet-tanked ratings the Emmy Awards got Sunday night. Everyone loves Colbert, just ask him.

But when Colbert brought out former Trump Press Secretary Sean Spicer near the beginning of the show, everything was ruined.

Liberals who don't normally watch Sunday Night Football flipped to the game (in spite of the lowered ratings due to conservatives refusing to watch a bunch of capitalist millionaires refusing to stand for the National Anthem).

Those who never watch tennis turned on the Davis Cup and saw France's Tsonga win his match against some dude from Serbia or some country starting with an 'S'.

The irony is not lost on those who heard Spicer do a Trump-like schtick declaring the CBS Emmy show would have "the largest audience to witness an Emmys, period--both in person and around the world."

Last year's Emmys was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and was the all-time lowest rating Emmy show until this one flopped along, taking aim over and over at the former Celebrity Apprentice host and current U.S. President.

Colbert tweeted that at least with the Emmys, the winners are determined by the popular vote, unlike Trump's win. But of course, Colbert didn't do his homework because the Emmys are not decided by popular vote--it's more like an electoral system, just like the presidency. (For more on Colbert making a fool of himself, go to Twitchy.com  and read the responses on Twitter.

It had to involve a lot of network planning to put the Emmys in part of the same time slot as Sunday Night Football. But based on the idea that when people want to watch a form of entertainment, which the Emmys used to be, and they have to put up with leftist political pandering, they tend to vote with the remote.

For those of you who didn't watch TV Sunday night, the Atlanta Falcons beat the Green Bay Packers 32-23.

I didn't get to see the start of the game so I don't know if anyone on either team 'took a knee' for the National Anthem.

Yet another leftist political display that is resulting in a loss of NFL viewership.

Last year's ABC broadcast of the Emmys drew 11.3 million viewers, down 18% from the previous year and the lowest until this year.

This year about 113 people watched their self-congratulatory award show. And if Sean Spicer wasn't allowed in the theater, the number would have swelled to 240 or more.

But it was allegedly a big hit in Serbia or some country that starts with an 'S'.

PC in D.C. 2050 predictions

Ground Zeroville -- In a town once known as Washington D.C. an anti-fascist young man stands guard by a newly erected memorial.

Holding a baseball bat caked in dry blood, dressed in midnight black garments with his face covered, he paces back and forth in front of the Tomb of the Undocumented Transgender Migrant Farm Worker.

Not more than a healthy stone's throw away, a modified Washington Monument casts its long shadow upon the earth. The monument, now known as "The Mega Flip-Off," depicts a giant middle finger that can even be seen from the building that was once known as the White House.

The house where the U.S. president resided has been painted black. It is, of course, now called the Black House Matters and is populated by a young, rich anti-capitalist who identifies as a lesbian trapped in a gay man's body. He or she runs the country and his or her word is the law.

A flag flies above the Black House Matters--it is the flag of the hammer and sickle and waves proudly in the cool breeze that was supposed to be a hot breeze by this time in earth's history.

The Lincoln Memorial is no more. It is a hollow structure in which skateboard ramps have been constructed. The ramp has a golden jump made in the shape of a former president's hair.

The only people permitted to use the skateboard ramps are the Antifa men and women who now run the government.

The statue of Thomas Jefferson has been destroyed and replaced by a likeness of Karl Marx.

In spite of the many pigeons who gain purchase and poop upon the beard, head and shoulders of this figure, the statue maintains better hygiene than the actual author of The Communist Manifesto.

The Korean War Veterans Memorial and Vietnam Memorial have been destroyed and replaced by statues of heroes of the early 21st Century: Bill Maher, Rosie O'Donnell, Stephen Colbert and Al Gore to name a few.

Under each statue are inscriptions of the last words they spoke on their deathbeds.

The Maher inscription reads: "Donald Trump had something going on with Ivanka. I just know it."

The O'Donnell inscription reads: "I'm glad I'll never again have to see or hear that piece of s**t, Donald Trump after this."

Colbert's reads: "I'm very cool and I plan to stay that way forever."

Gore's inscription reads: "I know that I told you Washington would be under water by now. Give it a little more time . . . trust me."

The nation has changed. The inmates are now running the asylum.

But the people will rise up and take the country back.

FCC:a not guts, no ethics

Showing his holster
You can't even write in a blog what Colbert said on the air about President Trump, but the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is letting him get away with it. That sucks.

And if I can say 'that sucks' and get away with it, you can imagine what Colbert actually said. If you don't know, you might be living in a box in North Korea.

The FCC said on Tuesday that it isn't going to take any action whatsoever against the foul-mouth scumcrumpet, Steven Colbert because they work for the government and they're here to help.

They will not do anything against "Late Show with Stephen Colbert." They do not care that they received thousands of complaints from viewers who were appalled over Colbert's homophobic and generally disgusting reference to oral sex involving Trump and Putin. They are from the government and there is nothing you can do about it.

"Consistent with standard operating procedure, the FCC's Enforcement Bureau has reviewed the complaints and the material that was in the subject of these complaints,"  said a statement by Neil Grace, an FCC spokesman. "The Bureau has concluded that there was nothing actionable under the FCC's rules."

And they had to admit, they found the joke against Trump rather funny.

Colbert also criticized Trump for abruptly ending an interview with CBS News. "Face the Nation" hosted by John Dickerson.

"Sir, you attract more skinheads than free Rogaine," Colbert ignorantly said, thinking that skinheads would actually want to grow hair, or aren't able to grow hair.

Then he went into a profanity dump and I'm not going to go there.

Suffice it to say, Colbert has the right to say whatever he wants, but not necessarily on national television. But the FCC  does not have the right to be impotent in doing the job we taxpayers expect them to do.

Corpulent Kim gets his blubber tied in a knot

(Photo: Fox News)
Corpulent Kim Jong Un, the dictator of North Korea, has a propaganda chief who may be the next Stephen Colbert, only he's funnier than Colbert has ever been.

The latest comedy sketch from Pyongyang's propaganda goon (or goonette) came after Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) said that Kim Jong Un was a "whack job."

The repartee came quickly from the Hermit Nation's Ministry of Guffaws:

"It is a serious provocation that Gardner, like a psychopath, dare to bear the evil that dares our highest dignity," the statement read, according to a translation. "It is America's misfortune that a man mixed in with human dirt like Gardner, who has lost basic judgment and body hair, could only spell misfortune for the United States."

Garner has a full head of red hair, so perhaps the state-run Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) has looked elsewhere on the Senator's body, perhaps to the south, but they apparently don't know what they're talking about.

KCNA also went after former President Obama in 2014, calling him a "clown," a "dirty fellow," and a "juvenile delinquent." The racist organization said that Obama "does not even have the basic appearances of a human being."

As racist a remark as Colbert's was vile about Trump.

Regarding Hillary Clinton, KCNA described her in 2009 as "by no means intelligent," and a "funny lady."

Sadly, they got the first part right and the second part wrong.

But they went on to say that "Sometimes she looks like a primary schoolgirl and sometimes a pensioner going shopping." [I don't believe you can get a pension in North Korea.]

The North Korean propaganda machine also went after former President George W. Bush calling him a "hooligan" who looked like "a chicken soaked in the rain."

VP Dick Chaney was "mentally deranged" and a "most cruel monster and blood-thirsty beast."

They aren't even vile enough to write for Colbert.

Sad!

FCC will "investigate" Colbert and his homophobic potty mouth

The Federal Communications Commission said they will "investigate" the rantings of Stephen "Toilet-Mouth" Colbert, but said nothing about DNC head Tom Perez whose mouth spews forth words that usually go down toilets.

Both leftists use vile, disgusting language on national television, and are unapologetic about the disrespect they show toward their audience. Perhaps they don't see it that way because they aren't capable of empathizing with the common folk.

The main reason the FCC is doing anything at all about Colbert's garbage-mouth rant against President Trump on Monday is because they received "a number of complaints" over Colbert's 12-minute monologue on CBS' The Late Show. Some are calling the monologue homophobic, disrespectful and not funny.

FCC commissioner and Trump appointee, Ajit Pai, promised to take "appropriate action" once an investigation is completed. What exactly has to be investigated is unclear, unless it's the actual letter of the law since it's clear what was said. Colbert's show is pretaped and the word "cock" was bleeped out by CBS when it was used to describe President Trump performing oral sex on Vladimir Putin.

Personally, I don't believe that Colbert should be fired, as many are calling for on Twitter, nor do I believe in boycotting Colbert's sponsors because I don't think it would make a real difference and it isn't fair to put the onus on them.

But I do believe in the free market. If people refuse to watch his show, and his numbers are down, the sponsors would leave on their own.

However, it's possible that Colbert has broken the law and the FCC will have to decide if it finds a violation. "A fine, of some sort, is typically what we do," Pai said.

Due to the fact that Colbert's garbage airs at 11:35 p.m., there is a lower standard of decency since the children are tucked away in bed.

FCC regulations, as per their website, says that all content on broadcast TV must meet a three-tier Supreme Court test to be considered "obscene."

The FCC says: "It must appeal to an average person's prurient interest; depict or describe sexual conduct in a 'patently offensive' way; and, taken as a whole, lack serious literary, artistic, political or scientific value."

Anyone who believes that it passes all of those tests is a leftist fool.

In 2004, CBS was fined $550,000 by the FCC when Janet Jackson had her "wardrobe malfunction" during the Super Bowl Halftime Show, exposing her breast. Unfortunately, the fine was appealed and thrown out.

I believe that everyone should be entitled to freedom of speech and expression. Personally, I'm going to express my beliefs with my TV remote.

Colbert's Trump rant a delight for homophobes

(Photo: Reuters)
CBS's not-so-funny man, Stephen Colbert, verbally attacked Donald Trump in a vicious, lowbrow rant that was cringe-worthy, even to some liberals who actually believe the office of the President should be shown a modicum of respect.

If you don't know what Colbert said on his show, among other insults, it had to do with President Trump's mouth being described as a "c**k holster" for Vladimir Putin.

His audience of leftist snobs and homophobes laughed with glee like junior high school kids telling fart jokes.

Of course Twitter went crazy with hate tweets and the hashtag #FireColbert. Some called Colbert's rant "homophobic" and that he should be fired for saying it.

I disagree.

His jokes are lazy attempts at humor and need to be pointed out to the public. If enough people stop watching his show, maybe read a book or listen to music instead, he would be gone.

Consider one of the lines: "Sir, you attract more skinheads than free Rogaine."

That's just stupid--skinheads shave their heads, don't need Rogaine and wouldn't want hair messing with their neo-Nazi political statement.

But his boorish audience has to laugh lest they be chastised by their peers.

Colbert's response to the anger his ranting created was: "So while I would do it again, I would change a few words that were cruder than they needed to be," a transcript that was released by CBS stated.

The whole thing started when Trump abruptly cut off an interview with CBS News' "Face the Nation" host John Dickerson after he was pushed to explain in greater detail his previous allegation that former President Obama wiretapped his phone.

Dickerson had previously asked Trump a number of questions about his first 100 days, and if he still stood by his claim that Obama was a "sick and bad guy," something he tweeted.

"I don't stand by anything," Trump answered. "I just--you can take it the way you want. I think our side's been proven very strongly. And everybody's talking about it. And frankly it should be discussed. I think that isa very big surveillance of our citizens. I think it's a very big topic. And it's a topic that should find out what the hell is going on."

When Dickerson asked him to explain it further, Trump cut him off saying, "You don't have to ask me."

"Why not?" Dickerson asked.

"Because I have my own opinions. You can have your own opinions."

"But you're the President of the United States," Dickerson said.

"Okay, it's enough. Thank you," President Trump said, ending the interview at that point.

Apparently, Stephen Colbert was caught up in the interview and was upset when Mr. Trump decided to end it. Personally, I would have liked the interview to have continued but it's inexcusable to use the verbal porn that Colbert said on television.

It's even disrespectful to those of his viewers who actually don't want to hear that kind of talk.

But I will still defend Colbert's right to say it because you can't have it both ways: if you believe, for example, that Ann Coulter has the right to speak at Berkeley, then you need to avoid being a hypocrite and leave that to the left.

Just my opinion.
