"60 Minutes" host asks freed hostage if Hamas starved him because they didn't have enough food: ripped a new one

"60 Minutes" host Lesley Stahl is definitely not the brightest light on the Chanukah bush. She appears to be sympathetic to Hamassholes after she showed her hand during a Sunday night interview with an Israeli who had been held hostage by the terror group.

Bottle-blonde Stahl asked Keith Siegel whether the Hamas terrorists starved him on purpose or whether they didn’t have enough food to give him. Evidently she missed the videos of Hamas stealing the food from the myriad trucks Israel sent to Gaza, keeping it for themselves and not allowing the Gazans to benefit from Israel's beneficence. 

Lesley Stahl is either an idiot or a pro-Hamas stooge, or both.

During the CBS News program, she spoke to several hostages who had recently been freed from the terror group's clutches and returned to their families. Stahl spoke to Siegel, along with Tal Shalom, and Yarden Bibas — the man whose wife and two young children were murdered while in captivity — learning details about their horrific experiences living in Hamas-controlled tunnels in Gaza.

While Siegel discussed how his captors treated him, he stated that after his wife, Aviva, was released from captivity, Hamas became "very mean and very cruel and violent."

Yeah, killing babies and their mom is cruel and violent if you ask most people other than Lesley Stahl.

"They were beating me and starving me," Siegel said. Stahl followed by asking idiotically, "Do you think they starved you because or they just didn’t have food?"

Siegel denied that his torturers didn’t have enough food, recounting, "No, I think they starved me, and they would often eat in front of me and not offer me food."

The former hostage and his wife were kidnapped from their kibbutz during Hamas’ terror attack in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. Siegel spent 484 days in "unimaginable conditions" in Hamas captivity but don't tell that to Leslie Stahl. 

The ex-hostage also recounted how he was only allowed to bathe once a month by pouring a cup of water over his head into a bucket, and described witnessing Hamas members sexually assaulting female hostages.

Stahl’s question prompted backlash on social media platform X.

The U.S. organization "StopAntisemitism" wrote, "Ridiculous moment on @60Minutes: Lesley Stahl asks hostage Keith Siegel if Hamas starved him because they had no food. He shuts her down. Hamas not only starved him, they ate in front of him, mocked him, sexually humiliated him, and forced him to watch female hostages being tortured." 

It added, "Meanwhile, @CBS pushes Hamas casualty numbers and falsely claims Israel ended the ceasefire. Hamas ended it."

Jewish journalist Ari Hoffman savaged Stahl over the question, stating, "She should ask the Nazis if they meant to starve the Jews in the Holocaust or didn't have enough aid."

Pro-Israel account "Jews Fight Back" posted, "Lesley Stahl looked a Jewish hostage in the face—after being starved, tortured, beaten, and dragged through hell—and asked if maybe Hamas didn’t mean to starve him. Maybe they just didn’t have food. Are you f--- kidding me? Shame on 60 Minutes. Shame on CBS. And shame on every apologist who still can’t admit that Hamas is pure evil."

A Jewish activist account, "Vivid," declared, "I can't believe my eyes. Lesley Stahl had the audacity to ask a Jewish hostage, who was tortured and starved by Hamas, if Hamas really meant to starve him or if they just didn't have enough food. Is this a joke? How the hell can she even ask him that?"

Answer: She is able to ask that because a) she is an idiot; or b) she is a pro-Hamas sympathizer; or c) she is a pro-Hamas sympathizing idiot.

Biden warns Putin about using nukes in Ukraine: "Don't do it, man."

Alleged President Joe Biden went on "60 Minutes" set to air Sunday, and did not fall asleep nor have incontinence times two. He mumbled with host Scott Pelley, who asked our leader what would he say and what would be the consequences from the United States if Putin used nuclear weapons in Ukraine.

Rather than telling us the consequences, the so-called President said, in that eloquent way he has, "Don't. Don't. Don't," to Russian President Putin. 

"You will change the face of war unlike anything since World War II," Biden then mush-mouthed.

Pelley  asked what consequences Russia would face for such a move and the president declined to get into specifics.

"You think I would tell you if I knew exactly what it would be? Of course, I'm not gonna tell you. It'll be consequential," Biden said, as a way to cover up the fact that he forgot what he was told to say. "They'll become more of a pariah in the world than they ever have been. And depending on the extent of what they do will determine what response would occur."

Former President Trump, on the other hand, would have said something like, "I would tell that shirtless slob that if he so much as tries to launch a nuke, his entire country would become toast."

But Biden is not Trump. In fact, Biden is not lucid.

Biden's warning comes after Ukraine forced Russian troops to pull back in the northeastern Kharkiv region as they were caught by surprise. Western war officials said that Ukraine is gaining ground and some Russians have been forced back across their own border.

The head of the Kharkiv prosecutor’s office, Oleksandr Filchakov, said investigators were analyzing reports of civilians being killed and buried by Russian soldiers in the town of Balakliia – another town that has been retaken by Ukrainian forces in the Kharkiv region. 

Of course, if true, this is a war crime and clearly more of a violation of human rights than is sending people to a tony resort town, such as Martha's Vineyard, via air conditioned jet with their approval.

Trump ends interview with Leslie Stahl: "You'll have to watch what we do to 60 Minutes"

President Trump abruptly ended an interview with CBS News' "60 Minutes" with Leslie Stahl on Tuesday. The setting was the White House and it took only 45 minutes before he ended the interview and told them that they had enough material to use. He did not return for an appearance to tape with VP Mike Pence.

Shortly after the news broke, Donald Trump said he may release the CBS interview ahead of its airtime on Sunday, saying it would show bias by the reporter, Lesley Stahl and added that "everyone should compare this terrible Electoral Intrusion with the recent interviews of Sleepy Joe Biden!"

In an earlier tweet, Trump criticized Stahl for not wearing a face mask after their interview, and implied that the conversation was "contentious." 

Now that's a perfect troll.

Bloomberg quoted someone familiar with the matter who said that Stahl went over a time limit for the interview that was previously agreed to with the White House. This angered Trump who refused to record a “walk-and-talk” segment with Stahl.

In 2018, Trump and Stahl had a contentious interview on a wide range of topics in which the President mentioned the dishonesty of the media when 

During that interview Stahl tried to change the subject after Trump made a comment about media dishonesty. Trump wanted to make the point about how the media criticized his administration over the child separation policy that began with the Obama administration but had been blamed on Trump by the media. However, Stahl didn't want to go there.

"I’m gonna change the subject again,” she said.

"Well, no, even the way you asked me a question, like, about separation,” Trump insisted. "When I say Obama did it, you don’t wanna talk about it."

After Stahl told the president they would run his answer, Trump continued: “When I say I did it, let’s make a big deal of it.”

Lesley Stahl: I’m gonna run your answer, but you did it four times, so.

President Trump: I’m just telling you that you treated me much differently on the subject.

Lesley Stahl: I disagree, but I don’t wanna have that fight with you.

President Trump: Hey, it’s okay–

Lesley Stahl: All right, I’ll get in another fight with you–

At which point the president ended the discussion: “Lesley, it’s okay. In the meantime, I’m president and you’re not.”

Hinting at what's coming next, during a rally in Erie, Pennsylvania late on Tuesday, Trump told the crowd "You'll have to watch what we do to 60 Minutes."

AOC whines about being called out on her fake accent with black audience

If she looked like this, would she have won?

Alexandria Obviously-Comatose got a ton of negative blowback after she spoke at Al Sharptongue's National Action Network in New York City using a feeble accent that she apparently assumed made her sound like a black person. It was an embarrassment, but AOC has the self-awareness of a newborn baby whose Democrat mother and doctor is deciding what to do with her.

"I'm proud to be a bartender, ain't nothin wrong with that," comrade AOC said, using a straw man argument as if anyone said there's something wrong with that. "There's nothing wrong with working retail, folding clothes for other people to buy. There is nothing wrong with preparing the food that your neighbors will eat. There is nothing wrong with driving the buses that take your family to work."

There's nothing wrong with being a surgeon, like Dr. Ben Carson. Or being an economist, like Thomas Sowell. Or being a Supreme Court Justice, like Clarence Thomas. But AOC would never mention them because they're not Democrats and they're certainly not how she apparently views black people.

And AOC, heck, she too don't feel no ways tired.

After being ripped a new one, the socialist neophyte played the victim card complaining on Friday about the backlash she faced after she spoke to an audience of predominately black people in an accent she believed would ingratiate herself with them, but which sparked widespread accusations that her remarks were racist and patronizing.

Obviously-Comatose — who generally refers to Republicans as racists, white supremacists, and xenophobes, because she cannot actually debate the issues — complained that is was "so hurtful" that people would call her out for the way she talked to black audience members. Poor Alex. Poor, poor girl.

"Folks talking about my voice can step right off," the socialist Clinton-style panderer tweeted. "Women’s March & Kavanaugh speech, same. Any kid who grew up in a distinct linguistic culture & had to learn to navigate class enviros at school/work knows what’s up. My Spanish is the same way. These conspiracy mills are [garbage emoji]."

Gee, I don't know . . .  I grew up in a mixed neighborhood. I didn't need to pretend to be anyone else. I once worked for a Dominican organization and never did I have to fake a Spanish accent to be accepted. I also worked for Black Veterans for Social Justice. I was one of the only white guys working there and I never had to ingratiate myself using a fake black accent. In fact, if I had done that, I would have been seen as a fraud.

Whenever AOC is called out on her obvious shortcomings, she attacks the accuser [Alinsky style] and plays the victim card. Always. She doesn't have the moral courage to ever admit her mistakes.

"As much as the right wants to distort & deflect, I am from the Bronx," AOC lied.

She was born in the Bronx but since the age of  5, grew up in the affluent Yorktown Heights area, which is just fine, but don't lie about it.

"I act & talk like it, *especially* when I’m fired up and especially when I’m home. [LOL] It is so hurtful to see how every aspect of my life is weaponized against me, yet somehow asserted as false at the same time."

Poor victim Alex-from-da-Bronx. BTW, she's also Jewish if she's talking to a Jewish group.

"This is what organizing looks like, this is what building power looks like, this is what changing the country looks like," the black-Jewish-socialist said in a southern accent while speaking at Al Sharpton's National Action Network in New York City.

Obviously-Comatose's response to her latest controversy was filled with factual inaccuracies, which is generally how she rolls. But facts don't matter to her.

She claimed in an interview with CBS News' "60 Minutes" that it was more important to be "morally right" than "being precisely, factually and semantically correct."

Huh? How can you be "morally right" without being factually honest? Being correct? It's like leftists who speak about "[my] truth." No, there's only THE truth.

The socialist freshman appeared to suggest that she spoke the same way in a speech she gave at the anti-Semitic Women's March and at a speech she gave about then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. But she didn't use the same accent at any point.

AOC's claim that accurately reporting on what she said and how she said it is not a "conspiracy mill," as she stated — it's called unbiased, accurate reporting.

Her claims that pointing out what she said and how she said it is some kind of attempt to "distort" and "deflect" is also not accurate--it's called journalism.

Alexandria Obviously-Comatose revealed her true intelligence to the American public when she posted her sophomoric Green New Deal online, which, after it was roundly criticized, claimed that it was a draft that wasn't supposed to be posted. She blamed her staff, but she never reposted a follow-up of it. And while her fellow Democrats said they supported it, not one single Dem voted for it after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell put it up for a vote.

And in true AOC fashion, she attacked McConnell for forcing the Senate to take it seriously and put their votes where their mouths were.

Trump says of Mattis: 'He's sort of a Democrat' and might leave administration

In a "60 Minutes" interview host Lesley Stahl asked President Trump whether Secretary of Defense James Mattis might leave his administration just a few weeks since journalist Bob Woodward wrote in his book "Fear" that Mattis compared the POTUS to a "fifth-or-sixth-grader."

Trump responded, "Well, I don't know. He hasn't told me that."

"I have a very good relationship with him," Trump continued. "I had lunch with him two days ago. ...It could be that he is. I think he's sort of a Democrat, if you want to know the truth. But General Mattis is a good guy. We get along very well. He may leave. I mean, at some point, everybody leaves. Everybody. People leave. That's Washington."

Leave, leave, leave--everybody. They leave.

Regarding reports that the White House is in chaos, Trump called the claim "so false" and "fake news," adding, "I have people now on standby that will be phenomenal. They'll come into the administration.

"Yeah, other people will go, sure. We have a great Cabinet. There are some people I'm not happy with. I have some people that I'm not thrilled with. And I have other people that I'm beyond thrilled with."

He has people he's not happy with, nor thrilled with, but he has others that he's beyond thrilled with, which brings to mind many questions.

President Trump's repetitive comments came soon after U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley abruptly announced her resignation, to take effect at year's end. The left-leaning media  claimed the departure indicated an extraordinarily high number of high-level departures from the Trump administration, but after looking at the numbers, the nonprofit Brookings Institution found that previous administrations lost a similar number of top officials.

After chinless Syrian dictator Bashar Assad launched a chemical attack on Syrians in April of last year, Woodward's book claimed that Trump demanded Mattis launch an assassination attempt.

"Let's f**king kill him! Let's go in. Let's kill the f**king lot of them," Trump allegedly said. According to Woodward, Mattis told an aide, "We're not going  to do any of that. We're going to be much more measured."

Mattis, according to the book, was also caught by surprise while on vacation when Trump proposed a ban on transgender troops. Mattis, who opposed the policy, has since unveiled a policy much more aligned with Trump's requests, but several lawsuits have temporarily put a hold on enforcing it.

Mattis said in a statement that "the contemptuous words about the president attributed to me in Woodward's book were never uttered by me or in my presence."

Woodward is known to document "facts" that are uncorroborated. Kind of sounds like the Kavanaugh debacle. Trump openly wondered if Woodward is a "Dem operative." He also posted on Twitter in September calling his book a "con on the public."

Mattis worked as head of the U.S. Central Command under former President Barack Hussein Obama, replacing David Petraeus. Mattis openly disagreed with Trump on several issues, favoring the preservation of certain aspects of the Obama Iran nuclear deal. Trump had called that deal a "horrible, one-sided" giveaway, basically the worst deal any human being has ever made in the history of the world, and maybe even the universe. Mattis believed the deal included "robust" measures and overall, it helped our interests [like not dying in a blinding nuclear blast].

Mattis views NATO as an alliance that's key to maintaining international order, while Trump criticized member nations for not paying their fair share of their GDP for national defense.

Secretary Mattis was able to change Trump's mind in certain areas. He convinced POTUS to abandon his stated desire to torture terror detainees and also got him to send more troops to Afghanistan.

There are no overt indications that Mattis has been withdrawing from his normal duties, and he will be heading to Vietnam on Tuesday, where he will visit Ho Chi Minh City [aka: Saigon] as the administration is attempting to counter China's military assertiveness.

Some see the arrival of Deputy National Security Adviser Mira Ricardel to the White House in May, as a sign Trump is planning to fire Mattis after the midterms next month. Ricardel and Mattis have often sparred in the past.

Also, Trump's hiring of U.N. ambassador John Bolton as national security adviser is a sign Trump's shift to a more hardline stance than Mattis supports, shows that the president is looking to change tactics and may want Mattis to go.

"I heard you're actually the Devil incarnate and I wanted to meet you," Mattis told Bolton in an open mic exchange when they met at the Pentagon earlier in the year.

In September, Mattis downplayed reports that he'd be leaving the Defense Department.

But we shall see.

CBS's Pelley dumps on Trump may get bumped

CBS glamour guy Scott Pelley is losing viewers like Blockbuster Video lost customers after Netflix was launched. While the CBS Evening News was always leading from behind of its competitors, it has gotten a lot worse since President Trump took office.

Anchor Pelley has become even more enthusiastic about pulling the chain and flush, as his job begins to circle the bowl. 

Since the November election, the Evening News managing editor and chief 60 Minutes correspondent (if you can call his leftist views 'journalism' rather than opinion) has thrown away all pretenses of being objective as he takes cheap shots at President Trump and tells the American public how to think.

Yet in spite of the incredible wisdom Pelley pontificates to the public, Evening News has taken a massive dip in viewership going from worst among the big three evening news programs to worstest, a word that was invented just for CBS's Evening News. 

At last count they had 7,621,000 viewers with only 1,702,000 in the key demographic compared to NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt's 9,182,000 viewers.

This month there has been a serious decline among the left-leaning networks with Pelley's freak show getting the hardest hit. On April 3rd, he raked in a tiny viewership of 6,249,000 viewers--that's about as many people who typically ride on the roof of a New Delhi train to Chennai. The key demo is a pathetic 1,366,000 liberals, about 1.7 million fewer than ABC's World News Tonight.

Pelley's problem is his obvious disdain for the values and voters of heartland viewers, a demographic CBS relies on more than the other networks. A.J. Katz of Ad Week, said in March how the leftist Pelley "has become a critical evaluator of Pres. Donald Trump during his newscast, a tactic not necessarily used by his fellow evening newsmen."

Some say Pelley has one foot out the door and the other on a banana peel. Pelley denies that as vociferously as Hillary Clinton on Benghazi.

What used to be journalism on the three networks has become op-ed, and in Pelley's case, an attack on the viewers who were wise enough to go elsewhere. 

Just another case of the dog biting the hand that feeds it.

Will Trump do what Trump promised?

President-elect Donald Trump has repeated his promise to build a wall across the southern border, repeal and replace ObamaCare and deport criminal illegal aliens. 

He also promised to "lock her up," referring to Hillary Clinton over her illegal personal server and "pay to play" with the Clinton Foundation. He said that he would appoint a special prosecutor and keep Comey out of the picture.

There will be a wall and the roads will be rebuilt along with other infrastructure, the debt will be paid, jobs will be in abundance and  there will be unicorns and rainbows. 

Yes, the world will respect us again. 

Except maybe the wall will not run across the entire southern border. "Certain areas, a wall is more appropriate," President-elect Trump said. "I'm very good at this; it's called construction." Other parts may have a fence and lots of Border Security guards watching to make sure nobody crosses over our border.

And maybe repealing "all" of ObamaCare won't be necessary. Maybe we can leave in the parts about keeping your under 26-year-old kid on the policy and leave in the pre-existing conditions clause.

And deporting 2-3 million illegal immigrants doesn't have to happen so fast, but we can deport the felons and rapists and drug dealers, and other 'very very' bad people. And let's not forget about the plan of "extreme vetting" of Syrian refugees.

"What we are going to do is get the people that are [criminals] and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers," Trump said on '60 Minutes.' "We have a lot of these people. Probably two million, it could be even three million. We are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate . . . after the border is secured and after everything gets normalized . . . we're going to make a determination on [other undocumented immigrants] . . . But before we make that determination . . . we want to secure our border."

So even though he promised us in the primaries that he would immediately deport all 11 million illegal immigrants living here, it's clear now that the Republican administration was "not looking for mass deportations." 

That should make many undocumented Democratic voters happy.

The "lock her up" thing?

Well, maybe we're being too harsh on Clinton. Maybe we should take care of more important matters.

"She did some bad things, I mean she did some bad things," Trump told Leslie Stahl of "60 Minites" in that way he has of using monosyllabics and repetition for emphasis or to show that he really really means it.

Stahl responded, "I know, but a special prosecutor?"

"I don't want to hurt them, I don't want to hurt them," Trump said. "They're, they're good people. I don't want to hurt them."

He really doesn't want to hurt them, I can tell you that.

Trump told "60 Minutes" that he would eschew the $400 thousand per year salary and only take a dollar as president.

When talking about the recent anti-Trump riots that are going on across the country he said the media coverage represented a "double standard." He added that "If Hillary had won and if my people went out and protested, everybody would say, 'Oh, that's a terrible thing.' And it would have been a much different attitude. There is a different attitude."

Trump added, however, that he was "saddened" by reports that some of his supporters harassed minorities since the election.

"And I say, 'Stop it.' . . . I will say this, and I will say right to the cameras: Stop it."

Let me be clear, I am willing to give Donald Trump the chance to follow up on his promises. I want him to succeed, unlike some leftists who would rather have the country go down with the new 'Captain,' so to speak. 

There is no way that Hillary Clinton should have been elected, in spite of those low information voters who believe otherwise. The best thing about this election for me, wasn't that Trump won, it was that the Clinton machine and its arrogant belief that Hillary was destined to victory lost. 

I have to admit, the tears of the snowflakes on the left were a wonderful thing to see.
