Charlatan News Network attacks Trump's triumph

The Charlatan News Network (CNN) cannot allow any of President Trump's victories seem like a victory lest they appear to be an actual news network.

On Wednesday, Trump greeted the three Americans who were freed from imprisonment in North Korea in what can only be described as an historic moment deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize nomination, while CNN attacked his motives--something they didn't do when the Obama administration gave away the farm to Iran in the nuclear deal sham.

The fake news this time suggested by CNN was that Trump made the event happen because he wanted to use it as a campaign ad.

Seriously. The idiots at CNN actually said that.

"Well, this is Donald Trump as a ... TV moment for him," former Bill "I Didn't Have Sex With That Woman" Clinton advisor Philip Yun said. "If nothing else, he knows how to get publicity, how to bleed a lot of drama."

Yun wasn't done.

"How soon will it be before we see images these turned around and, you know, put out on social media by the President or some kind of, you know, a campaign message?" John Vause asked CNN Senior White House Correspondent Jeff Zeleny.

"I expect before the sun rises you will see something like that without question," Zeleny responded.

Perhaps Obama could have used all of his accomplishments for campaign ads, like the Solyndra deal in which he gave a solar panel company taxpayer money to sell solar panels below cost, and then when they went bankrupt and sold off, he repaid his rich investors illegally before paying the taxpayers.

Or the time Obama's Attorney General (aka "Wingman") Eric Holder, put guns in the hands of the Mexican drug cartel that got Brian Terry killed and also poor Kate Steinle.

Or what about the Iran deal that overwhelmingly favored Iran over the US and our allies.

But because CNN hates Trump and loves Obama, the truth never emerged but conspiracy theories abound. The pseudo-journalists at CNN keep pushing the "theory" that President Trump was using the North Korean detainees as a way to deflect from "the Robert Mueller investigation into Russia, the criminal investigation of his own personal attorney, the Stormy Daniels . . ." yadda, yadda.

CNN International "journalist" Will Ripley said that Trump was "exploiting" the freed Americans.

First of all, I don't blame him--when you're the president, you exploit your accomplishment. When you're Donald Trump, you exploit them as the biggest and best accomplishments in the history of the universe.

If it was Barack Obama who freed the American detainees, honestly, would CNN do anything less than sing his praises, kiss his ring, and have little red hearts popping over their heads?

Hypocrisy goes both ways, but it goes significantly more to the left. Think about it--when the press makes a mistake, it is never to the benefit of Trump, it's always a lie to his detriment.

Always.

DOJ indicts Zarate on felony gun possession

Federal officials are doing what they can to keep illegal immigrant, 7-time-felon and basic chowderhead Jose Anus Garcia-Zarate from getting off scot-free from killing Kate Steinle with a handgun on a San Francisco pier in July 2015.

The crap weasel was found not guilty last week in a court where jurors were not told he had a long criminal record and was a felon in possession of a gun.

The Department of Justice released a statement saying: "A federal grand jury indicted Jose Inez Garcia-Zarate today for being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition and for being an illegally present alien in possession of a firearm and ammunition."

It the POS is convicted, he could face a maximum of only ten years in prison. Hardly an equivalent sentence to the sentence Kate Steinle received by his filthy hand.

Zarate was acquitted of first and second degree murder and involuntary manslaughter on Thursday and also found not guilty by assault with a semi-automatic weapon. He was only found guilty of possession of a firearm by a felon and the leftist puke meisters in San Francisco want to use time served against his sentence so that he can "walk."

Plans were to deport him upon his release from jail and this would be the sixth time he has been deported.

They say six is a charm . . . liberals, that is.

The illegal immigrant/felon had been released from a San Francisco boutique prison about three months prior to the shooting, despite a request by federal immigration authorities to hold him for deportation. And they would have held him if they believed that somehow he might have tried voted Republican in the next election.

The new charges follow a move Friday by the DOJ, which unsealed an amended arrest warrant for the pond scum, which included violations related to the charges of a felon in possession of a firearm, involuntary manslaughter and assault with a deadly weapon, all of which were filed after the arrest was made initially, according to the warrant.

Zarate admitted to shooting Kate Steinle and told a number of different stories as to what happened that day: from shooting at sea lions to having the gun accidentally discharge, in spite of the federal agent's stolen gun having a heavy 6 to 10 pound trigger-pull.

ICE Deputy Director Tom Homan said that "San Francisco's policy of refusing to honor ICE detainers is a blatant threat to public safety and undermines the rule of law. This tragedy could have been prevented if San Francisco had turned the alien over to ICE, as we requested, instead of releasing him back onto the streets."

It seems obvious to me that public officials who are entrusted with the decision to not cooperate with the law, be it ICE or any agency, should be held accountable to the federal laws that override their poor politically-based judgment.

Feds Issue Arrest Warrant for Steinle Killer

The federal government issued a warrant containing felony weapons charges for Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, the Kate Steinle killer who received a not guilty verdict of murder from a leftist jury that has infuriated some people.

There is no doubt that the jury's verdict was a anti-Trump spite decision.

Zarate has been deported five times and the feds have promised to deport him again.

Maybe six deportations is a charm.

The jury found Zarate guilty of being a felon while possessing the handgun which his defense team claimed accidentally fired the round that killed Steinle. It was that verdict that may have been the reason the feds issued the warrant, which claimed he violated the terms of his supervised release from prison in 2015.

Steinle's murder occurred in San Francisco, a so-called sanctuary city, which is a city that provides sanctuary for illegal aliens and takes sanctuary away from those who live there. The shooting sparked a national debate on immigration.

Although federal authorities requested that Zarate not be released from a San Francisco prison before his deportation, the jail released him about 3 months before he killed Steinle.

The Department of Justice unsealed the warrant on Friday in the Western District of Texas, according to The Hill.

Following the verdict, both President Trump and Attorney Jeff Sessions spoke on lamented immigration enforcement that allowed for the release of Zarate.

Hopefully, there will be justice for Kate Steinle's family.

DOJ exploring possible follow-up on Steinle case

The Department of Justice is exploring an option of bringing federal charges against Jose Garcia Zarate after the San Francisco court reached a not guilty verdict in the Kate Steinle murder trial, according to Fox News who spoke with department officials of the DOJ.

A brain-dead California jury acquitted Zarate of the more serious charges in the case, which includes murder, involuntary manslaughter and assault with a deadly weapon.

The 5-time felon was only convicted of possession of a firearm.

U.S. immigration officials said they'd deport Garcia Zarate (aka Juan Francisco Lopez Sanchez) who was wanted for deportation.
Steinle family

Zarate was previously deported only 5 times and kept worming his way back into the country, specifically, San Francisco because it's a sanctuary city for felons and other illegal aliens and he knew they'd protect him from the law.

Kate Steinle, 32, was with her father on a San Francisco pier in 2015 when Zarate, about 90 feet away, found a Sig Sauer handgun, picked it up, and it allegedly went off all by itself as handguns are all known to do, and shot her in the back.

Zarate could be sentenced 3 years in prison for the firearm charge, but he's already been locked up for over 2 years awaiting trial.

President Trump, who simply cannot not comment on legal matters called the verdict "disgraceful" and has used the case to rally support for a border wall.

"The Kate Steinle killer came back and back over the weakly protected Obama border, always committing crimes and being violent, and yet this info was not used in court. His exoneration is a complete travesty of justice. BUILD THE WALL!" he tweeted Friday.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions also disagreed with the verdict in a written statement using zero exclamation marks, unlike the president.

"When jurisdictions choose to return criminal aliens to the streets rather than turning them over to federal authorities, they put the public's safety at risk. San Francisco's decision to protect criminal aliens led to the preventable and heartbreaking death of Kate Steinle," Sessions said. "While the State of California sought a murder charge for the man who caused Ms. Steinle' death--a man who would not have been on the streets of San Francisco if the city simply honored an ICE detainer--the people ultimately convicted him of felon in possession of a firearm."

Sessions said the DOJ "will continue to ensure that all jurisdictions place safety and security of their communities above the convenience of criminal aliens."

He did not mention any additional charges that may be brought forward if the DOJ pursues the case.

The jury was never told that Zarate was a 7-time convicted felon and had been deported 5 times. Had they known this, the verdict may have been different. But in San Francisco, you never know.

Zarate didn't deny shooting Steinle, but he said it was an accident. He had several different explanations as to how the "accident" occurred, but that didn't seem to matter to the jury.

Kate Steinle was a white privilege woman.

ICE to Brown: 'No choice' but to arrest illegal aliens

Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) top official, Thomas Homan, said in a statement that the agency has "no choice" but to arrest illegal immigrants in California's worksites and neighborhoods despite newly signed illegal sanctuary city legislation.

Those who get arrested will probably be placed in out-of-state detention centers.

Homan's statement came one day after "Governor Moonbeam" Jerry Brown (Duh--Calif.) signed bill SB54, a sanctuary state legislation.

The bill goes into effect on January 1st and bans police from asking people about their immigration status or participating in federal immigration enforcement activities that make our nation sovereign.

Jail officials would only be permitted to transfer inmates to federal immigration authorities if they've been convicted of certain crimes--other criminals convicted of crimes not on the list will be permitted to stay and vote Democrat.

Homan said the bill protects illegal immigrants from lawful deportation and makes California a "magnet."

"Ultimately, SB54 helps shield removable aliens from immigration enforcement and creates another magnet for more illegal immigration, all at the expense of the safety and security of the very people it purports to protect," Homan said.

Brown noted the bill doesn't prevent ICE from operating in California. His office declined to comment further on Homan's statement.

"They are free to use their own considerable resources to enforce federal immigration law in California," Moonbeam wrote, but said the law does prevent the "commandeering of local officials" to do immigration work.

Evidently, Brown is not a team player and, as a kid, was never chosen for a side in any schoolyard games.

"These are uncertain times for undocumented Californians [and future Democratic voters] and their families, and this bill strikes a balance that will protect public safety while bringing a measure of comfort to those families who [don't legally belong in the U.S. and] are living in fear every day [because they broke the law]," Brown said.

Democratic Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de Leon, who carried the bill, said Homan's statement "exemplifies the fear mongering and lies that guide this Administration."

The fear mongering may have started in 2015 when Kate Steinle, a San Francisco woman, was fatally shot at a pier by a Mexican national who had been deported five times. A law known as "Kate's Law" was passed this June which would increase penalties for deported aliens who try to reenter the United States.

Conservatives believe Homan's statement exemplifies a respect for the law and going about the process of citizenship the proper, legal way. Many legal immigrants believe that it's unfair that these people circumvent the system after they themselves have abided by the law.
Kate Steinle and her killer

Democratic California lawmakers have created barriers to President Trump's campaign pledge to bolster deportation of illegal aliens. There's no doubt that this would not be the case if illegal aliens would vote for the GOP in the future.

California is sanctuary to about 2.3 million illegal aliens who, if deported, would create openings for about 2.3 million jobs.

President Trump has threatened to withhold federal money to sanctuary cities, which in turn, have filed lawsuits to prevent that from happening.

Hopefully they won't have it both ways.

Immigration raids at the Big Apple

An immigration advocacy group called Make the Road New York, said that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) sweeps on Staten Island has netted five illegal immigrants from Mexico in the past week and a half. The raids began on February 2nd and continued on the 3rd, 5th and 8th of the month.

All five individuals who were apprehended by ICE were male and four of them have children who were born in the U.S., the group reported.

Make the Road (not to be confused with the anarchist group known as 'Make on the Road') believes several of the lawbreakers are in New Jersey detention centers for illegally coming into a sovereign country.

"What we've seen is that the incidents in Staten Island are consistent with what we've seen in the surge of ICE activity in the last week," Theo Oshiro, deputy director of Make the Road New York said, referring to the notion that the current administration actually stands behind the U.S. Constitution and ICE officials are now doing the job they've been hired to do.

Hundreds of illegal immigrants have been arrested in at least six states this past week for violating the sovereignty of the U.S. and pursuant to a Trump executive order signed in January.

The category of undocumented immigrants lacking proper paperwork has been expanded. Not merely focusing on illegal immigrants with violent criminal records, as the Obama administration did, ICE now has a mandate to nab illegal immigrants if they've ever been accused of any crime, even "where such charge has not been resolved."

The president has also signed executive orders calling for the construction of THE WALL on the Mexican border and to cut federal funding for sanctuary cities that offer safe haven to undocumented immigrants, including those with criminal backgrounds.

Carlos Vargas, of the Make the Road New York's legal services team said that in one case, two plainclothes officers approached a "hardworking" father at 5:30 a.m., showed him a few photos of other people for whom they were looking, and then arrested him. The "hardworking" illegal immigrant's arrest will now provide the opportunity for a "hardworking" legal U.S. resident to have a job.

"We do not know," Oshiro said regarding the question as to whether the individuals have criminal records. "What we do know is that the raids tear families apart and have a huge and negative impact on communities regardless of criminal records."

But not knowing about criminal records is inexcusable.

Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, the illegal alien who killed Kathryn Steinle, not only had a criminal record, he had been deported five times! He kept returning to San Francisco where he was given 'sanctuary.'

If ICE and other border security officials were allowed to uphold the laws that are on record, Kate Steinle would be alive today.

Immigrants will always be permitted to come to America, but they need to get in line and do it the right way. Ironically, they all come from countries that do exactly what President Trump is finally doing.

The Sheriff who couldn't shoot straight

Ross Mirkarimi was elected sheriff of San Francisco, California in November 2011. Before him, only two incumbent SF sheriffs had lost re-election in the last 60 years, but with any luck, Mirkarimi will be the third.

Ross is arguably the worst person to be sheriff of any large city, let alone a small one-horse-town, and he faces a tough fight on Tuesday.

Mirkarimi was not endorsed by the SF Deputy Sheriff's Association, the union representing sheriffs. Instead, they endorsed Capt. Paul Miyamoto by 353 votes to Mirkarimi's 2 votes (probably by his relatives). Don Wilson, president of the association said "Miyamoto is a very popular guy in our department. We want one of our own to be sheriff. We want someone with experience."

Unfortunately, like the 2008 presidential election, the guy without experience and ability won.

He served as sheriff from January to March 2012, and at that time was charged with domestic violence battery, child endangerment, and dissuading a witness in connection with the Dec. 31, 2011 New Year's Eve altercation with his wife. The Mayor of SF, Ed Lee suspended him from office pending an ethics investigation.

Mirkarimi pleaded guilty to one count of false imprisonment but, according to the city charter, he only received 7 of the 9 required votes from city supervisors to remove him from office. The alleged wife-beater was reinstated in Oct. 2012.

So who is this sheriff, a guy who failed to qualify with a firearm and thus was prohibited from carrying one after failing a marksmanship test? A guy whose drivers license had been suspended?

Let's take a walk down Leftist Lane .  .  .

Little Ross Mirkarimi was born Aug. 4, 1961 (the 'upside-down year') in Chicago, to a 19 year old Russian-Jewish mother, Nancy Lolman, and Iranian-born father, Hamid Mirkarimi. They divorced when Ross was 5, and he moved to Jamestown, Rhode Island with his mother. His father was out of the picture for the most part.

Ross went to Bishop Hendrickson High School an all-male Catholic institution and graduated in 1979. "I totally credit my childhood in Jamestown for my green views," the alleged wife-beater said.

He founded the California Green Party in 1990 and coordinated Ralph Nader's totally unsuccessful presidential campaign.

Mirkarimi lived in San Francisco since 1984 and graduated from the SF Police Academy in 2009, the same year he sired a son with his wife, Eliana Lopez, a Venezuelan serial-drama actress.

In 2008, Mirkarimi supported Barack Obama and went from Green Party to the Democratic Party because he never let his ideology interfere with his need to get elected.

On April 20, 2008 he was honored by the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws and received the Rufus King Award for outstanding leadership in the reform of marijuana laws and the best damn munchies in the room.

He gave a speech at that award ceremony using this impossibly long and somewhat demented run-on sentence:
"That particular logic (of being in favor of medicinal marijuana but not wanting dispensaries in the neighborhood in which you live), as complex as it is, was emblematic of what certainly concerned me, that we continue to drive back in the shadows the very idea of what we're all congregated her for, and that is to mainstream the issue so that marijuana should not be criminalized and medical cannabis should not be criminalized, and that we should do everything we can to build that kind of resiliency, to shore up even in the face of adversity, that while there's any attempt at pushback or blowback from our efforts to try to proliferate Prop 215 states throughout all fifty states of the United States, that we should not shrink at all with that ever particular kind of adversity once again."
Seriously, Mirkarimi said that. Perhaps he was stoned at the time.

Now Mirkarimi's office has been under the gun since the illegal Mexican alien was accused of shooting Kate Steinle this summer. The shooter was released from Mirkarimi's jail in spite of federal immigration officials requesting he be detained due to previous arrests.

Now he's running for another term as sheriff; his opponent is Vicki Hennessy, 62 and a retired sheriff's official. She has never run for any elected position before, but is hoping to capitalize on Mirkarimi's obvious incompetence, poor judgment and abusive nature toward women and the laws of our land.

"The department needs leadership. It needs its credibility restored," Hennessy said. Even the mayor supports her.

The previous mayor Art Agnos endorsed Ross, pointing to the success of the jail's high school and reduction of the inmate population as his major accomplishment.

Sure the inmate population went down, but that led to the San Francisco crime rates to go up. If that's your definition of success, you might be a liberal. But at least the criminals were able to read the street names where they did their mugging, murder and raping.

Hennessy joined the sheriff's department in 1975 and was promoted to chief deputy, the third-highest ranking position in the office. She is married to a retired San Francisco cop. "I never expected to run," she said.

Mirkarimi and Eliana, his allegedly abused wife, campaign together at commuter train stops, coffee shops and marijuana dispensaries where they've been known to fire up the crowd, if you know what I mean.

Eliana was opposed of her husband's prosecution and used a "Hillary Tactic" saying the criminal case was politically motivated, and she had the bruises to prove it. "I am not a victim," said the victim Lopez.

The main issue in the race for sheriff is the city's misguided policy of shielding illegal aliens from the jurisdiction of federal immigration officials. Mirkarimi is clearly breaking federal law and should be serving time in one of those empty cells he brags about.

Even Hillary Clinton agrees that he is wrong in his interpretation of the law--at least she does as of this writing, but tomorrow, who knows?

Since the shooting of Kate Steinle, Mirkarimi failed to properly report a minor accident while driving a department-issued car and his drivers's license was suspended.

In 2014, Mirkarimi had to apologize for a Keystone Kops search for a SF General Hospital patient whose body was found weeks after she went missing from her room. Mikarimi, as sheriff, is in charge of the hospital's security, but deputies failed to search the hospital until nine days elapsed since she was missing. She was found in the stairwell.

The city paid the patient's family $3 million to settle out of court.

Many political analysts believe Hennessy should win this election hands down. One consultant, Dan Newman, said "He [Mikirami] imploded before he started, then he continued with a string of screw ups."

That's putting it mildly.

FBI evidently confronted Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell over the weekend and hoo boy

It has been a rough stretch for former Rep. Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell . You know, the guy who's known for the fart heard round...
