Trump Nears Iran Deal As Hezbollah, Israel, And Reality Itself Complicate Things

President Trump is once again finding out that trying to bring peace to the Middle East is a little like herding cats or refereeing a bar fight where everyone has missiles and a theological grudge dating back 3,000 years.

On Sunday, Trump publicly warned Israel and Iran not to torpedo what he insists is an almost-finished peace agreement after Israel lit up Hezbollah targets in Beirut, because apparently nobody in that region can go 48 consecutive hours without setting something on fire or blowing something up.

“We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region,” Trump posted on social media, before adding the kind of thing every exhausted parent has yelled from the front seat during a family road trip: “Let’s not blow it!”

Please let us not pretend that any so called peace deal will last very long when Islamic scripture [in this case, the Hadith] demands the killing of Jews:
Sahih al-Bukhari 2926 (Narrated by Abu Huraira):
"Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, 'The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say, "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."'"
Sahih Muslim 2922 (also narrated by Abu Huraira):
"The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: 'O Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him'; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews."
Smoke rose over Beirut after Israeli strikes reportedly hit Hezbollah infrastructure in the southern suburbs. Lebanon’s Civil Defense said workers pulled three bodies and six wounded people from the rubble, which is generally not the visual diplomats hope for while trying to finalize a peace agreement.

Naturally, Iran responded with threats, because Tehran treats military retaliation the way normal countries treat strongly worded press releases.

The emerging deal has reportedly left Israel less than thrilled. Benjamin Netanyahu’s government has been largely sidelined while Pakistan and other regional players helped move negotiations forward, which probably feels to the Israelis like being forced to watch strangers remodel your house while assuring you they definitely know where the load-bearing walls are.

Trump, who previously suggested the agreement could be signed Sunday, has reportedly been leaning hard on Netanyahu to cool things down in Lebanon while negotiations continue. Netanyahu, being Netanyahu, appears to have treated that advice the same way most people treat the “terms and conditions” page on a software update.

Following the Beirut strike, Trump spoke with Netanyahu and made it clear he was not exactly delighted with the timing and it made him look bad.

According to Axios and Fox News interviews, Trump directly questioned the Israeli prime minister about the operation after Israel said it struck Hezbollah targets in response to drone launches aimed at northern Israel.

The Israeli military claimed Hezbollah launched three projectiles and released footage showing smoke rising after impacts. Hezbollah, meanwhile, maintained its long-standing media strategy of saying absolutely nothing until everybody else has already spent twelve hours arguing online.

“It shook it up,” Trump said of the strike’s effect on negotiations, adding that the agreement’s signing was delayed several hours but remained on track.

That sentence pretty much sums up Middle East diplomacy in 2026: everyone agrees peace is close right before somebody launches explosives into a neighboring country.

Israel defended the strikes as necessary retaliation. “Israel will not tolerate firing into its territory,” Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a statement.

Fair enough. That is generally how sovereign nations operate.

Meanwhile, civilians in Beirut’s southern suburbs were once again seen fleeing damaged neighborhoods after briefly enjoying what passed for “calm” in the region, which usually means only a few rockets a week instead of dozens.

The current conflict spiraled after Hezbollah fired missiles into Israel on March 2, shortly after the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran. Since then, Israeli forces have pushed deeper into Lebanon than at any point in more than twenty-five years, which is the sort of escalation diplomats politely call “concerning” while privately stress-eating antacids.

Iranian officials reacted exactly the way you’d expect Iranian officials to react.

Parliamentary Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf warned on X that “if you lack the will and ability to fulfill your commitments, speaking of continuing the path is not possible.”

Translation: everybody keeps threatening peace while simultaneously threatening each other.

Gen. Mohammad Jafar Asadi added, “Without a doubt, these crimes will not go unanswered,” proving once again that no Middle Eastern conflict is complete without at least one official statement that sounds like it was generated by an angry action movie trailer narrator.

Qatari mediators reportedly traveled to Tehran Sunday to help finalize the agreement. Regional officials cautiously suggested the U.S. and Iran might actually be approaching a framework capable of halting hostilities and reopening the Strait of Hormuz, which global markets would appreciate very much because investors tend to dislike shipping lanes turning into active war zones.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the agreement could be signed Sunday, while Iranian officials suggested it may happen within days. Trump said the Strait of Hormuz would reopen immediately after signing.

The deal itself appears less like a grand peace treaty and more like the diplomatic equivalent of duct tape holding together a leaking garden hose. It reportedly creates a sixty-day framework for further discussions on Iran’s nuclear program, missile capabilities, frozen assets, and regional proxy activity, which means the hardest issues are essentially being postponed until later.

Under the current framework, the U.S. and Israel appear to have fallen well short of their original objectives of dismantling Iran’s nuclear and missile programs entirely. Critics have noticed this small detail.

Trump attempted to reassure skeptics Saturday by posting that once things calm down, the U.S. would “downblend and destroy” Iran’s enriched uranium either inside Iran or in the United States.

That may prove more complicated than posting it on social media.

According to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran possesses roughly 440.9 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60% purity, which is alarmingly close to weapons-grade material. Iran continues insisting its nuclear program is peaceful, which ranks somewhere alongside “the stripper really likes me” on the list of claims that should probably invite further scrutiny.

Republican critics of the deal have already started circling. Some argue the agreement barely improves on the 2015 Obama-era nuclear deal that Trump himself withdrew from during his first term because he repeatedly called it “bad.”

Now Trump finds himself in the awkward position every president eventually reaches in foreign policy: discovering that campaign slogans are much easier than negotiating with regimes that sponsor armed militias while enriching uranium underground.

Still, if Trump somehow manages to keep Israel, Iran, Hezbollah, Pakistan, Qatar, global oil markets, and congressional Republicans from simultaneously detonating this agreement before the ink dries, it may qualify as the first genuine miracle the Middle East has seen in decades.

Biden's autopen went nuclear while the media pretends otherwise

The Biden autopen scandal just went nuclear, and the media is pretending it's no big deal because Orange Man Bad did something about it. But let's be real here.

Donald Trump just dropped the hammer on Friday: every single document Joe Biden allegedly "signed" with that little robot pen in his final days has been terminated. And suddenly that Axios report from September that everybody memory-holed is back from the dead, because now there are actual consequences.

Kayleigh McEnany absolutely torched it on Saturday, pointing out the obvious: yeah, every president uses an autopen sometimes. That's not the issue. The issue is when your own staff secretary is basically screaming into the void, "Wait, did the vegetable in the Oval Office actually approve this or are we just making it up now?"

Marc Thiessen, who actually having worked in a real White House under George W. Bush, laid it out perfectly: "Bush didn't want to have any doubts about things. So I remember once there was a continuing resolution to keep the government open, and he was at the APEC summit out in Asia, and they actually took an aide and flew the bill out to Asia so that he could physically sign the bill. So, you know, that's how seriously [Bush] took this."

Compare that to Biden World, where the staff secretary, Stef Feldman, is frantically emailing: "When did we get [Biden's] approval of this?"

And then two weeks later: "I'm going to need email from... original chain confirming [Biden] signs off on the specific documents when they are ready."

Translation: Nobody knew if Joe even understood what planet he was on, much less what he was "signing."

Thiessen didn’t hold back: "The staff secretary clearly had concerns about this and was aware of it and wasn't sure that Biden was actually issuing these orders… And so, you know, the pardon is a power of the president himself. And to have pardons signed by autopen when the people running the autopen weren't even sure the president had agreed to pardon somebody, that's pretty bad stuff."

"Pretty bad stuff" is putting it mildly. We're talking about a guy who was clearly non compos mentis (Thiessen's exact Latin, because even he couldn’t find an English phrase gentle enough) having his name stamped on record-setting numbers of pardons and commutations while his handlers ran around in a post-Hunter-pardon "mad dash" to find random people to let off the hook without even looping in DOJ.

And now Trump says none of those autopen "signatures" count anymore. The same people who spent four years telling us January 6th invalidated the entire 2016 election are about to discover the sacred sanctity of the autopen.

I can't wait for the meltdown.

If you like Brain Flushings and want to Buy Me a Coffee, I would appreciate it, as it supports my work. Obviously, there is no pressure but I certainly wouldn't stop you.

Many National Security Council staff fired after Laura Loomer visits White House

The Trump White House just got a spring cleaning, courtesy of activist journalist Laura Loomer, who waltzed into the Oval Office with a stack of opposition research thicker than a D.C. lobbyist’s expense report.

[H/T The Daily Wire]

Up to ten National Security Council officials got the boot after her visit, and if you believe Axios—who broke the story Thursday—this wasn’t just a random purge. Loomer reportedly handed Trump a hit list of staffers she deemed insufficiently loyal, and the firings followed like clockwork. A source close to the meeting called it “an anti-neocon move,” which is Washington-speak for “someone’s finally draining the swamp, and the alligators are pissed.”

Trump, ever the master of coy confirmation, chatted with reporters aboard Air Force One and didn’t exactly deny Loomer’s influence. “We’re always going to let go of people — people we don’t like or people that take advantage of or people that may have loyalties to someone else,” he said. When asked about Loomer, he didn’t hold back the praise: “Laura Loomer is a great patriot. She’s a very strong person. She makes recommendations and people, and sometimes I listen to those recommendations. I listen to everybody and then I make a decision. She always has something to say and it’s usually constructive … She recommended some people for jobs.”

Translation: She’s got a loud mouth, a sharp eye, and the president’s ear—deal with it.

The rumor, per Axios, is that Loomer was fuming over “neocons” who’d “slipped through” Trump’s vetting process like cockroaches in a cheap motel. “She went to the White House yesterday and presented them with her research and evidence,” an official told the outlet, adding that three senior NSC bigwigs—plus as many as ten total staffers—got the axe. “Bloodbath” was the word used, and I’m guessing the survivors are updating their LinkedIn profiles as we speak.

CNN, [aka Comedy News Network] never one to miss a chance to clutch pearls, named the fallen: Brian Walsh, Thomas Boodry, and David Feith. Walsh, a former Marco Rubio lackey, was director for intelligence. Boodry, once Mike Waltz’s legislative director, handled legislative affairs. Feith, a State Department vet from Trump’s first term, oversaw tech and security. Sounds like a mixed bag of establishment types who didn’t get the memo that MAGA means business.

The meeting wasn’t a solo act—National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, VP JD Vance, Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, and personnel guru Sergio Gor were all in the room, per the Associated Press. Axios says Loomer’s beef was that these NSC folks weren’t ride-or-die for Trump’s agenda. Fair enough—why keep snakes in the grass when you can mow the lawn?

NSC spokesman Brian Hughes played the “no comment” card, while Loomer herself dodged The Daily Wire’s request for a chat. Instead, she took to X Thursday morning to blast “people in and around the West Wing” for leaking to the “hostile, left-wing media” about Trump’s private powwows. “I want to reiterate how important it is that people who gain access to the White House or the administration respect the privacy of their conversations with President Trump and his senior staff,” she wrote, sounding like the only adult in a room full of gossipy teenagers.

But she couldn’t resist a victory lap: “It was an honor to meet with President Trump and present him with my research findings. I will continue working hard to support his agenda, and I will continue reiterating the importance of, and the necessity of STRONG VETTING, for the sake of protecting the President of the United States of America, and our national security.”

Preach, Laura—someone’s got to keep the RINOs from sneaking back in.

Meanwhile, Trump jetted off to Florida with Waltz, Wiles, Gor, and a few other top dogs, per the travel pool. Sounds like the A-team’s ready to keep the MAGA train rolling, while the B-team’s left crying into their résumés.

Loomer’s got her critics, sure, but if she’s the one sniffing out the disloyal, maybe she’s the pitbull this administration needs. Neocons beware—there’s a new sheriff in town, and she’s not afraid to bite.

"I pour my heart into these posts, and if they’ve sparked something for you, I’d be thrilled if you’d treat me to a coffee over at Buy Me a Coffee – totally optional, of course!"

AOC, the woman all men want to date, fails in top spot on House Oversight Committee

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Comatose (D-NY), the woman that men all want to date, was trying to become the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee. However. it's believed that Rep. Nancy "Dancing Dentures" Pelosi (D-CA) was secretly working against her.

This isn't the first time the former House Speaker has tried to manage members of the so called Squad. No matter what happened, Pelosi can now breathe easier, once her hip replacement recovery is complete—Rep. Comatose won't be leading this committee. She was defeated by Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) according to Axios:
"House Democrats' Steering and Policy Committee voted to recommend Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.) as ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, several sources familiar with the vote told Axios."
This comes as a huge blow to AOC in her hopes and dreams of being able to wear her eyeglasses and cosplay an intelligent woman heading a high-profile panel. But as fate would have it, an old white man got the job and all AOC got was the chance to make another TikTok video of her dancing in the kitchen making a paella.

It's atypical for the caucus to go against the committee's recommendation, which is usually in line with the Democratic leadership, but it has been done before. So if somehow AOC is able to pull off a win, it's going to be arrrrrrrriba in da Bronx.

What we believe is that Connolly defeated the Latinx Latina 34 to 27 on Monday, according to multiple lawmakers present.

Ms. Comatose said after the vote that she would keep fighting for the position when it goes to a vote by the whole caucus. Even if she loses, which seems to be what will happen, she will, in the spirit of Kamala Harris after her blowout defeat, continue to fight once they both can decide who and how.

Rumors have it that AOC is backing off going on TikTok and other social media platforms and plans to visit the parking lot by the border where she can sense the grief and misery of those who will not be crossing the border into Texas come January 20.

Will Iran strike today on Tisha B'Av?

Iran seems to know plenty about Jewish holidays and uses them against Israel. Today is the most tragic day on the Jewish calendar, Tisha B'Av, as it's the day when both Temples were destroyed over the millennia.

Israeli intelligence expects an imminent strike from Iran, possibly within the next few days. This comes despite recent signs that Tehran might be rethinking a direct attack on Israel because of substantial international pressure.

According to an Axios report, there are internal disagreements within Iran's leadership about the scope and nature of the retaliatory action. This response follows the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Iranian soil on July 31st, an act widely attributed to Israel, although Jerusalem has not officially taken responsibility.

Two intelligence sources informed Axios that recently inaugurated Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian would prefer to avoid direct confrontation with Israel. However, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who holds ultimate authority over all state decisions, is resolute in pursuing such action.

On Sunday, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant called Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to inform him that it appears Iran is preparing for an attack.

The Pentagon confirmed the call and stated that Austin had ordered the deployment of a guided missile submarine to the region.

Monday evening marks the beginning of Tisha B'Av, a significant Jewish holy day remembering the numerous tragedies that have afflicted the Jewish people over the centuries.

Some analysts believe that Iran might deliberately choose Tisha B’Av to launch an attack for its symbolic significance, as the day is deeply associated with death and destruction in Jewish history.

Israel’s adversaries have often carried out attacks during Jewish holidays.

The October 7th massacres occurred on Simchat Torah, a Jewish holiday celebrating the end of the Sukkot festival.

The Yom Kippur War, which began in 1967, also commenced on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in Judaism, during which Jews observe fasting and prayer.

Channel 13 suggested that the conclusion of the Paris Olympics could be another potential reason for an attack occurring this week.

The outlet indicated that the French government had exerted significant pressure on Iran and Hezbollah to refrain from striking Israel during the games.

Harris wasn't Biden's first choice for border czar: she was his 2nd choice

"Hi, I'm Kamala Harris and I'm useless, hahahahaha"

Vice President Kamala "Speaks Through Three Holes" Harris, while campaigning to become the first female [whatever that is] not exactly Black President of the United States, is disavowing her role as border czar bestowed on her by our so called President Joseph Biden.

The media has gone berserk over this label because they know that she was an absolute useless border czar and the claims made by these meatballs are verifiably false as MRC shows in a melange of media reporting over time.

PolitiFact wrote, "Claims that President Joe Biden named Harris the ‘border czar’ and that she is responsible for overseeing U.S. border enforcement gained prominence at the Republican National Convention as the party sought to link her to his immigration policy. Biden didn’t put Harris in charge of overseeing border security.”

Really?

Axios wrote, “The Trump campaign and Republicans have tagged Harris repeatedly with the ‘border czar’ title – which she never actually had.”

“Kamala Harris Was Never Biden’s ‘Border Czar,’” TIME Magazine claimed

A USA Today "fact check" headline said, "Harris' border work was on 'root causes' of migration; she wasn't in charge." Axios wrote, “The Trump campaign and Republicans have tagged Harris repeatedly with the ‘border czar’ title – which she never actually had.”

Although Harris was not officially given the title "border czar"--because it's too Russian-sounding--many lefty Russophiles in the media used that label to describe Harris' assigned border role. Biden tasked her specifically with addressing the root causes of migration from Central America and working with the countries in the region, emphasizing diplomatic efforts to manage and reduce the flow of migrants heading to the U.S.-Mexico border.

Her mandate was broader than just border enforcement; it was about tackling systemic issues in those countries to create lasting solutions, which she failed at miserably.

Harris was not Biden's first border czar; she was the second woman chosen as border czar by the alleged president.

After only 100 days as border czar, Roberta Jacobson, President Joe Biden’s first border czar, left the role on April 9, 2021, after already “grappling with large increases of migrants attempting to cross into the U.S.,” Even The Los Angeles Times reported, saying, “Biden’s border czar … is stepping down.”

Yes, even the comrades at the LA Times referred to the position as border czar.

However, before Jacobson stepped down, Biden announced at a March 24, 2021 news conference that Kamala Hahaharris would be responsible for addressing the southwest border surge that already began within days of him taking office. “I can think of nobody who's better qualified to do this than the former” California attorney general, Biden mumbled.

Harris was chosen to lead the effort as border czar because “the best thing to do is to put someone [in the role] when he or she speaks they don't have to wonder about where the president is,” Biden read carefully. “When she speaks, she speaks for me. She doesn’t have to check with me. She knows what she's doing. I hope we can move this along [to address the] increasing challenges at our southwest border. No one knows this better than the vice president.”

In that inimitable way she has, Harris said both through her mouth and nostrils,  “There's no question that this is a challenging situation. While we are clear that people should not come to the border now, we also understand that we will enforce the law. Because we can chew gum and walk at the same time, we must address the root causes that cause people to make the trek.” She also looked forward to working with Congress “to address root causes of migration. Needless to say, the work will not be easy, but it is important work.”

Just a normal Tuesday at the border: thanks Kamala

It was so challenging that she couldn't find her way to the porous border if the fairies dropped breadcrumbs along the way.

Multiple news outlets gleefully reported on the announcement, including The Washington Post, The Hill, the Associated Press, Axios, Politico, Reuters, The Huffington Post,  NBC News and even Fox News, to name the biggies.

The social media site X fact checked Axios' recent claim using one of its own articles, stating, “On April 14, 2021, Axios' Shawna Chen confirmed Kamala Harris had been appointed Biden's ‘Border Czar.’

If that isn't clear enough, Chen wrote: "Harris, appointed by Biden as border czar, said she would be looking at the ‘root causes’ that drive migration."

Since Harris was tapped as border czar, The Center Square has published 69 news stories covering the border crisis as it relates to the border czar. House Republicans this week filed two articles of impeachment against Harris, one over her role in addressing the border crisis. The other article against her might be her level of confused verbiage--she may not be demented like someone we know, but her word salads should come with a dressing.

But seriously, Harris has not event made an attempt to do her assigned job.

Biden’s March 24, 2021, announcement was made after members of Congress toured a federal detention facility in Carrizo Springs, Texas, where 700 unaccompanied minors were being held. U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, (D-Laredo), posted images of them sleeping on concrete floors in response to media outlets being denied access by the Biden administration. The left tried to blame this situation on Trump, but it's hard to argue with visual proof.

Earlier that month, Cuellar warned, “We are weeks, maybe even days, away from a crisis on the southern border. Inaction is simply not an option. Our country is currently unprepared to handle a surge in migrants.”

Harris was not only unprepared to handle a surge, it was apparent that she welcomed it, as did alleged President Joseph Biden. The border was a sieve of illegal aliens flooding into the country where now the left wants to give these non-citizens not only taxpayer benefits, but the right to vote in US elections!

Harris never visited the facility or Cuellar’s district. Since then, more than 12 million foreign nationals have illegally entered the country under Harris the Border Czar. She only visited a port of entry in El Paso on June 25, 2021, which is 800 miles away from the real crisis in the Rio Grande Valley.

On March 31, 2021, Abbott sent his first letter to Harris, stating, "Now that President Biden has named you Border Czar in charge of the administration’s response, I want to express to you the threats and challenges caused by this administration’s open border policies. These policies embolden and enrich cartels, smugglers, and human traffickers who continue to ramp up their criminal operations. Given your new role as the administration’s Border Czar, I urge you to visit the border to see the crisis for yourself, and … to take swift action to secure the border, crack down on human trafficking, and prevent more children from being trafficked and abused."

As calls grew for Harris to visit the border and respond to the crisis, by an April 20, 2022, press briefing White House press secretary Jen Psaki was asked, “Does the president still have confidence” in Harris as border czar. She replied by confirming Harris' role as border czar, “He absolutely does.”

Abbott maintains, "‘Border Czar’ Harris has NOT done her job to secure the border. Innocent Americans have lost their lives, law enforcement has been assaulted, and fentanyl has killed thousands.” He’s also called on Americans to vote for Trump to secure the border.

I say vote for Trump to secure peace and prosperity for the country. Harris will not bring us peace--she will bring us far-left policies and show the world her weakness.

Hamas agrees to cease-fire deal, but demands "written guarantees" for negotiations on end of war

Hamas has accepted a proposal for a US-backed hostage release-ceasefire agreement with Israel Saturday, the New York Post reports. The Iran-backed terror group has dropped its most non-negotiable demand that Israel promises a total end to the war with the Hamassholes in Gaza.

Hamas is demanding that Israel provide "written guarantees" that mediators will continue to negotiate a permanent cease-fire so that they can attack Israel agian in the future when they least expect it.

The terror group gave its initial approval for the proposal after they received “verbal commitments and guarantees” from the Egyptian and Qatari mediators that fighting will not resume after Israel receives the hostages and that the two sides will continue to negotiate toward a permanent truce, the Hamas official said.

“Now we want these guarantees on paper,” the Hamas official said, knowing they can trust Israel to abide by their promise, while Hamas can do whatever they need to do to wipe out the Jews wherever they find them.

Israel’s Mossad intelligence director David Barnea went to Doha Friday and met with Qatari mediators.
Barnea rejected the demand for a written commitment on a second phase of the ceasefire deal, Axios reported.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to send negotiators back to Doha next week for follow-up talks. However, Bibi's office emphasized that there continue to be “gaps between the parties.” CIA Spook Director William Burns is also heading back to Doha to join the talks, Axios reported.

This proposal would have Hamas release women, children, and injured hostages. But as usual, Israel would release hundreds of scumbags in prisoned in Israel over an initial period of six weeks.

The IDF also would pull back from heavily populated areas in Gaza and allow people to return to their homes in the northern parts of the territory during this time where they can plot as families to kill Jews wherever they can find them.

Phase two would have Hamas free all the remaining men they kidnapped and tortured, both civilians and soldiers whereas Israel would release Arab terrorists and criminals. These exchanges would only happen after "sustainable calm" takes effect and the IDF pulls out of Gaza in order to allow Hamas to rearm and regroup so that they can kill Jews wherever they find them.

Phase three would have the bodies of hostages who were tortured, raped, killed and otherwise died in captivity returned to Israel.

Netanyahu’s office warned that “gaps” between Israel and Hamas remain in the ceasefire proposal being discussed.

The plan received support from the families of many of hostages at their weekly marches in cities across Israel Saturday.

Hamas, whose top scumbag, Yahya Sinwar, would only release male hostages during the ceasefire deal’s second phase.

Sinwar

Israeli officials told Axios they worried that if they agreed to Hamas’ written commitment demands, the terror group would be able to indefinitely drag out the discussions about the deal’s second phase, thus giving Hamas time to rearm and regroup to kill Jews wherever they find them.

It would therefore be difficult for Israel to then resume fighting without it being seen as a violating the agreement, and could cause the anti-Semites in the United Nations Security Council to impose a ceasefire without securing all the hostages release, the officials said.

Mossad officials told mediators in Doha they were confident the Israeli cabinet would accept the ceasefire proposal on the table, an official familiar with the talks told The Wall Street Journal.

A source in Israel’s negotiating team said there was a legitimate chance to reach an agreement with Hamas, compared to previous discussions where Hamas had included demands that Israel said were impossible to accept.

Then once an agreement is reached and the hostages returned home to Israel, the IDF should bomb the crap out of Hamas, capture or kill Sinwar, destroy all UNRWA buildings and their jihad schools, rid Gaza completely of jihadis, and call it a day.

Biden's Top Climate Adviser Sanctioned by Nat'l Academy of Sciences for Ethics Violations

Biden's "party of science" senior climate adviser Jane Lubchenco, got part of her southern anatomy handed to her by the National Academy of Sciences, (NAS) the nation's most prestigious scientific body, for ethical violations.

Lubchenco [aka The Science Lady], the deputy director for climate and environment at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, was sanctioned on August 8th for violating the NAS' code of conduct. The specific reason she was sanctioned involved a paper she edited that appeared in the NAS' peer-reviewed journal, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, in 2020. However, the paper did not use the latest available data, and The Science Lady HAD A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH ONE OF THE RESEARCHERS, in violation of the journal's editorial policies, and a rather unethical thing to do in any case.

Section 3 of the NAS code of conduct states:
NAS members shall avoid those detrimental research practices that are clear violations of the fundamental tenets of research. Members should be fair and objective peer reviewers, maintain confidentiality when requested, promptly move to correct the literature when errors in their own work are detected, include all deserving authors on publications, and give appropriate credit to prior work in citations.
Lubchenco edited an article advocating for the use of particular conservation tools in the global fishing industry. The article was titled: “A global network of marine protected areas for food,” and appeared in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, in 2020.

However, the article was retracted the following year after it was discovered the researchers used old data in the research, which resulted in a spurious overestimation of their results. This is either a stupid mistake or an attempt to conceal true results.

“[W]e have been informed that the changes to our results arising from the data error have cast doubt over the outcome of the peer review process, ultimately leading to the retraction of this paper,” the researchers said in their retraction note. “We intend to submit a corrected version of the paper elsewhere.”

“The editors also note that the article’s editor, J.L., [aka The Science Lady] recently published a related paper with the article’s authors and has a personal relationship with one of the authors, both of which are disallowed by PNAS editorial policies,” PNAS editor-in-chief Mary Berenbaum wrote in the note. The media outlet, Axios adds that one of the researchers was Lubchenco’s brother-in-law.

Lucky for PNAS, Lubchenco accepted the sanctions, otherwise Biden may have unleashed the FBI on the organization and gone through their financial data.

“I accept these sanctions for my error in judgment in editing a paper authored by some of my research collaborators — an error for which I have publicly stated my regret,” Lubchenco said, via Axios. In February, a group of Republican leaders sent a letter to the Biden administration expressing doubts about the integrity of the Office of Science and Technology Policy in light of Lubchenco’s history and whatever was going on between her and her brother-in-law.

Does her sister even know?

“We … encourage you to consider if Dr. Lubchenco should continue to be involved in developing a framework for the improvement of agency scientific integrity policies and practices when she has violated the very policies she is tasked with imposing on Federal agencies,” Republican ranking member of the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology Frank Lucas (R-OK), Environment Subcommittee ranking member Stephanie Bice (R-OK), and Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee ranking member Jay Obernolte (R-CA), wrote in their letter. “If the executive branch cannot or will not uphold the practices of scientific integrity, then Congress will have to assume a greater role in oversight of these matters.”

AG Barr warned Trump about his legal team

Never one to ordinarily mix bovine excrement language with his legal opinions, Attorney General William Barr reportedly broke that rule and warned President Trump that his legal team was telling him a fib about the election being stolen by calling "bulls**t" on it.

[H/T Daily Wire]

The AG made that statement at a Dec 1st meeting with Trump and other top aides, according to Axios, a left-leaning outlet which has consistently been highly critical of the administration.

The reason for the meeting was allegedly due to Trump being angry that Barr gave an interview to the Associated Press that contradicted what Trump's legal team was saying publicly.

In that interview with the AP, Barr said that federal investigators were looking into allegations of voter fraud but said that they had “not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”

In truth, probably all elections ever run in the USA and everywhere else, has some voter fraud associated with it, but if it doesn't swing the election, then the will of the people has spoken.

Axios reports about the confrontation with Trump:

“These things aren’t panning out,” Barr told Trump, as he stood beside his chief of staff Will Levi. “The stuff that these people are filling your ear with just isn’t true.” Barr explained that if Trump wanted to contest the election results, the president’s internal campaign lawyers would have to do it, not the DOJ.

The Justice Department, he continued, had looked at the major fraud allegations that Trump’s lawyers had leveled. “It’s just bullshit,” Barr told the president. [White House counsel Pat] Cipollone backed up Barr by saying the DOJ was investigating these claims.

The report also said that Cipollone along with others within earshot were stunned over Barr's blunt and brutal manner, although they agreed. In addition, Barr is reported to have called Trump's legal team "clownish."

“I’m a pretty informed legal observer and I can’t f***ing figure out what the theory is here,” Barr reportedly said in reference to the claims that Trump’s legal team were making. “It’s just scattershot. It’s all over the hill and gone.”

“Maybe,” Trump said, according to Axios. “Maybe.”

Axios explained how it sourced its report:
Our reporting is based on multiple interviews with current and former White House, campaign, government and congressional officials as well as direct eyewitnesses and people close to the president. Sources have been granted anonymity to share sensitive observations or details they would not be formally authorized to disclose. President Trump and other officials to whom quotes and actions have been attributed by others were provided the opportunity to confirm, deny or respond to reporting elements prior to publication.
Barr had been a nostalgic favorite amongst Trump supporters but has since resigned 3 weeks prior to the end of Trump's term and strongly criticized him over the Capitol riot that took place Jan. 6.

Trump will not attend Joe Biden's inauguration on Jan. 20. He will be the fourth President to snub his replacement. The others were John Adams, the second U.S. President; John Quincy Adams, the sixth President and son of John Adams; and Andrew Johnson, the 17th President and the first to be impeached.

Like Trump, all the others were one-term presidents.

Two Dem mayors and Eric Swalwell, involved in a honey trap with China spy

She is suspected to have been a honey trap to at least two anonymous Midwestern Democratic mayors according to an  Axios teport. She goes by the panda bear sounding name, Fang Fang, and sometimes she uses Christine Fang as a pseudonym or a real nym, but whatever her real name is, Democrats, including Rep. Eric "Stinky" Swalwell (D-CA) found her irresistible.

Fang Fang, a Chinese national alleged spy, developed political contacts primarily in California and attended conferences for U.S. mayors, growing her network of political contacts across the country.

The Fangster also engaged in sexual relationships with no less than two horny mayors of Midwestern cities over a three year period, according to a U.S. intelligence official and a former elected official.

“At least two separate sexual interactions with elected officials, including one of these Midwestern mayors, were caught on FBI electronic surveillance of Fang, according to two intelligence officials,” Axios reported, but said they were not able to identify or speak to the elected officials.

Axios published photos of Fang with Democrat U.S. Reps. Mike Honda (D-CA) and Judy Chu (D-CA), as well as local California officials Fremont Mayor Bill Harrison (D) and San Jose city councilman Ash Kalra (D).

Democrats all.

According to Axios, the lovely Ms. Fang also volunteered for the unsuccessful campaign of now-Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA). Fang was also a host for a 2013 event with Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI).

In the spirit of the Hogan's Heroes character, Sergeant Schultz, a Gabbard spokeswoman claimed the congresswoman “has no recollection of ever meeting or talking with her, nor any recollection of her playing a major role at the fundraiser.”

I know nothing, I see nothing.

And then there's Eric Swalwell.

The flatulent young congressman said on Tuesday that the Axios story about his ties to a Fang Fang was somehow payback by the Trump administration for his [baseless] attacks on Trump over Russia. But like Swalwell's attacks, his claims also provided absolutely no evidence Axios got it wrong.

Fang Fang, “targeted up-and-coming local politicians in the Bay Area and across the country who had the potential to make it big on the national stage” through “campaign fundraising, extensive networking, personal charisma, and romantic or sexual relationships,” Axios reported. “Even though U.S. officials do not believe Fang received or passed on classified information, the case ‘was a big deal, because there were some really, really sensitive people that were caught up’ in the intelligence network, a current senior U.S. intelligence official said.”

“Amid a widening counterintelligence probe, federal investigators became so alarmed by Fang’s behavior and activities that around 2015 they alerted Swalwell to their concerns — giving him a defensive briefing,” Axios reported. “Swalwell immediately cut off all ties to Fang, according to a current U.S. intelligence official, and he has not been accused of any wrongdoing.”

Other than possibly getting caught with his pants down.

Fang has since skipped the country, returning to Communist China after breaking Democrat hearts.

Axios makes unintentional joke about Alexandria Occasional-Cortex

Ocasio-Cortez cold and flatulent
Axios has got to be the leftist, dumbest, worst piece of liberal propaganda out there. Their latest piece on Alexandria Occasional-Cortex it titled; "It's ridiculous that it's unconstitutional for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to run for president."

The left has made this rather clueless person their biggest star since unseating lazy loser Rep. Hillary Clinton Joe Crowley in a wild surprising upset. Axios said that "her win didn't, in the final analysis, launch a wave of leftist primary victories only goes to show what a phenomenon she personally is."

I'll give her that she's a shrewd and tireless campaigner--there's no doubting that.

But just as obvious as her ability to knock on doors and turn on the charm is her lack of knowledge about government and even what her role is going to be when she is sworn in [she thought she was going to be 'inaugurated'] as a congresswoman.

Another thing that stands out about her is that she is a socialist and has virtually no understanding how our federal budget works. She wants "free" education and "free" health care, but cannot offer a solution as to how we can pay it. She believes that our military spending is about $21 trillion and all we need to do is cut it. But our military spending last time was around $700 million. In the entire history of the United States, we have not spent that much on military spending overall.

Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) doesn't know shinola on how our government is structured. She believes it is made of of three "chambers": the House, Senate and president. Even a school kid knows she's clueless.

Axios says that AOC has "incredible wit, charisma, social media savvy, and basic political smarts."

Seriously?

This is a young woman who is afraid to debate Ben Shapiro or even be interviewed by him. He offered her ten thousand dollars to her favorite charity to debate him. To avoid this, she called him a  cat-caller.

“Just like cat-calling, I don’t owe a response to unsolicited requests from men with bad intentions. And also like cat-calling, they for some reason feel entitled to one,” she tweeted.

Ben Shapiro is a married Orthodox Jew who is clearly in love with his wife and his religion. In a million years, Shapiro would not cat-call her or anyone. But AOC is afraid to debate someone who is obviously much more intelligent and knowledgeable about government and pretty much everything else that matters.

Axios is just a hack website of hardcore leftists who love socialism and Alexandria Occasional-Cortex.

Rosenstein reportedly will resign in anticipation of being fired

Rosenstein in his pencil-neck geek pose
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein informed White House Chief of Staff John Kelly that he will be resigning in anticipation of being fired by President Donald "You're Fired!" Trump, Axios reported Monday.

He is currently on his way to the White House so we shall see how this plays out.

Rosenstein, who allegedly said he would wear a wire to record Trump in order to get him removed under the 25th Amendment, expects the president to fire him over the recent New York Times report about the wire tap statement.

Some conservatives believe that firing Rosenstein would be a mistake, but it definitely should be done if the story is true about wearing a wire for such covert anti-administration behavior.

Trump power-tweets against the media

President Trump went on Twitter Thursday morning and power-tweeted against the "totally dishonest" media, Axios reported.

Now it's important to know that Axios' Chairman Andy Lack is on the board of directors of Axios, so you can expect a left-leaning, media-friendly take on the matter, which is why they described Trump's tweeting as 'raging' against the media. Specifically, he lashed out at the heads of NBC and CNN, and then went on "turning his ire to 'fake books.'"

Axios wrote: "For Trump, it's not just "Fake News" anymore--he's waging a war on fake everything."

Regarding CNN he tweeted:
"The hatred and extreme bias of me...has clouded their thinking and made them unable to function."
He then tweeted abut CNN President Jeff Zucker:
"Little Jeff Z has done a terrible job, his ratings suck, AT&T should fire him to save credibility!"
On NBC he tweeted:
"What's going on at @CNN is happening...at other networks - with @NBCNews being the worst."
On Andy Lack, NBC News Chairperson he posted:
"Andy Lack(y) is about to be fired (?) for incompetence, and much worse."
He also accused NBC News anchor Lester Holt of "fudging my tape" of the May 2017 interview where Trump pinned his firing of former FBI Director James Comey on "this Russia thing."

On Thursday he tweeted that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner "had NOTHING to do with the so called 'pushing out' of Don McGahn. The Fake News Media...love to portray chaos in the White House."

Partly because it's true, and partly because they will do anything to discredit President Trump, a reality TV genius.

President Trump attacked Google overtly on Tuesday. He said that they are "RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD." He told Axios' Mike Allen that Big Tech is "trying to silence a very large part of the country," and said Facebook and Twitter are not to be trusted.

Now irrelevant Steve Bannon 'regrets' his scummy betrayal of POTUS

Steve Bannon, the former useless political strategist for Donald Trump, apologized Sunday after the president lambasted his sorry butt for unflattering comments he is alleged to have made in the Trump White House gossip book "Fire and Fury."

Bannon says he "regrets" his delayed response and that he continues to support the president.

How exactly has Bannon ever supported President Trump? All he's trying to do is save himself and latch onto power as he always did before.

"My support is also unwavering for the president and his agenda," he lied in a statement to Axios, later confirmed by Fox News Sunday.

In one part of the book, he calls Donald Trump Jr.  "treasonous" and "unpatriotic" based on a meeting Trump Jr. had with a Russian, a meeting that took place before Bannon was a staffer for the president, so it's impossible for Bannon to have inside information.

In his apology statement, Bannon said, "Donald Trump Jr. is both a patriot and a good man. He has been relentless in his advocacy for his father and the agenda that has helped turn our country around."

Question: So how can anyone know when Bannon is telling the truth?
Answer: He doesn't. Everything he says is for his own self-aggrandizement and the only "friend" he has left is the mainstream media. He has even alienated Breitbart News.

"I regret that my delay in responding to the inaccurate reporting regarding Don Jr. has diverted attention from the president's historical accomplishments in the first year of his presidency," Bannon said, after he removed his lips from Trump's rump.

Bannon said in the statement that the comments about the meeting were aimed at Paul Manafort, not Don Jr.

Trump's epic response can be heard on the Daily Wire video posted above. The statement begins at the 24:20 mark, but the entire video is worth watching.
