Compromised News Network Loses 66% of Primetime Viewers

Once upon a time, in a galaxy not far away, CNN was the undisputed king of cable news. Now it's just another sad sack bleeding viewers like a stuck pig somewhere in the Middle East.

The primetime audience has cratered from roughly 1.3 million in 2016 to 553,000 now. "The decrease, from roughly 1.3 million in 2016 to 553,000 now, is fueling rumors of a possible network sale," The Daily Mail reported.

Over the last decade, the once-mighty network has seen its primetime crowd shrink by nearly two-thirds. That's not a dip, that's a nosedive.

The numbers get even uglier when you zoom in on certain time frames.

Sure, CNN had a nice little sugar rush during Donald Trump's 2016 ascent, but those gains eventually flipped into a full-blown catastrophe. In the golden 25-54 demo that advertisers drool over, things are downright apocalyptic. By early 2025, CNN was scraping by with a pathetic 118,000 primetime viewers in that group. That's about equivalent to an overloaded train in India.

The rot isn't confined to the evening hours either. Daytime viewing, once carried by reliable old hands like Wolf . . . Gasp . . . Blitzer, has plunged from 752,000 to 433,000. Compared to the same stretch in 2021, primetime is down 71 percent and daytime has tanked 73 percent.

All this glorious free-fall has unfolded amid a parade of executive musical chairs.

Jeff Zucker bolted, Chris Licht's short reign was a dumpster fire, and now Mark Thompson is the guy trying to apply tourniquets. His big plan? Ditch the old-school TV roots and go all-in on digital, because apparently that's where the cool kids are these days.

The restructuring highlights include axing more than 200 staffers in early 2025 to fund the digital dreams, chasing mobile content that lets thumb-scrollers "flick" through stories like they're swiping on Tinder, launching a new streaming effort in late 2025 after the CNN+ fiasco proved what a genius idea that was the first time around, and somehow finding $70 million to throw at subscription food and fitness slop.

CNN lifers keep insisting this is just part of some grand industry migration to "alternative means" of getting news. Sure, tell that to the competition.

In January 2025, The Daily Mail noted, "Fox News, however, has continued to fly high, capturing more than 70 percent of cable news’ audiences during primetime since (the 2024 election), as well as nearly 50 percent overall."

If you enjoy  Brain Flushings and would like to subscribe or Buy Me a Coffee, or even check out the sponsors on this page, I would appreciate it, as it supports my work and my coffee drinking habit. No pressure and subscribing is free.

The whole cable news landscape is shifting, except for the one network that's actually winning. Funny how that works.

Aug. 21, 2022 RIP Reliable Sources

Sunday, August 21, 2022 was Brian Stelter's last day on the Compromised News Network, aka CNN. His show, Reliable Sources is gone and Stelter is now unemployed, but if he plays his cards right, he might just find a spot with the ladies of  The View.

To his credit, in all of his time at CNN, starting in 2013, he never was accused of having an inappropriate sexual encounter, not with a man nor a woman, and not even with himself, as his colleague, Jeffrey Toobin had done on a Zoom call.

His words were powerful and clearly annunciated, and also quite humorous:
"I believe America needs CNN to be strong, I believe the free world needs CNN to be strong, and it will continue to be because all of us are going to help make that happen. The free world needs a reliable source. So, for ‘Reliable Sources,’ for the last time, I'm Brian Stelter, thanks for being with us."
America needs CNN like a blowfish needs a cigarette. His show, Reliable Sources, was an oxymoron. His so-called 'sources' were often anonymous and anything but reliable. Stelter was an extremely far-left potato whose journalistic integrity was nonexistent.

During his last show, he thanked his wife, who presumably is female, and several others involved in the progressive programming behind the scenes. He also thanked his former boss and CNN president, Jeff Zucker, who, like Toobin and Chris Cuomo, had to leave CNN due to sexual improprieties.  He even thanked the guy who fired is wide angle butt, Chris Licht.

"Thank you to Jeff Zucker for believing in me, for having the back of this organization for so many years, for having my back through everything, even through the death threats," Stelter said without mentioning Zucker's inappropriate sexual behavior to certain staff.

He added that while it "might sound weird," Stelter thanked Licht for "letting us say goodbye." And he blew Licht a kiss off camera, my reliable sources tell me.

At the outset of the show, Stelter mentioned that Licht was making big changes to CNN and that he was sad that he would not be around to cover it. He was joined by Carl Bernstein who said that Stelter's exit from the network was "bigger than Watergate," and that Brian would be sorely missed, adding, "We won't have Trump to kick around anymore."

"That is the watch word here. Accountability," Stelter jokingly said. "We need to have room for media criticism and debate and discussion, and we will. So much of the media ecosystem in 2022 is garbage, but so much of it is spectacular. The hard part is sorting out the treasure from the trash. These are thorny complicated things. I know I never had all the answers. I didn’t even always have all the questions. But it was the gift of a lifetime to get to confront these issues on international division with the backing of CNN."

Stelter's final words were that the media "is the people," but much like his reliable sources, he was lying to the people. As far as he is concerned, the media is for leftist ideology and the leftist messages they want the people to hear.

Compromised News Network's Brian Stelter will do anything to keep his job

The Compromised News Network's Brian "Are You Going to Eat That" Stelter said on Sunday that the Hunter Biden scandal isn't just some  "right-wing media story." That's a far cry from what he originally called the story: "a classic example of the right-wing media machine."

Now that CNN has made a management change, Stelter knows his job is on the line and he will do or say anything to, or for anyone, to keep his job.

"Brian Stelter is a TV-news fan boy who's self-worth is connected to being on air, even if no one watches his show. But one of the many reasons he's seen as such a joke is his transparent strategy of doing or saying anything to stay on TV," conservative talk radio host Jason Rantz told Fox News Digital.

"He's not a journalist; he's a publicist for whatever management asks of him. He sees the direction CNN is taking, and he knows he's not the right fit so, suddenly, he's shifting again," Rantz added. "If Stelter had credibility with the audience to begin with, this would be an issue. This is only about credibility with management, telling them he'll do what's necessary to keep that paycheck."

On "Reliable Sources," Stelter's Sunday show with an oxymoronic title, he implied that so-called President Biden's 2024 re-election ambitions could be dashed by the ongoing federal investigation into his drug-addled son, Hunter, in an interview with Mike LaRosa, the former press secretary for First Lady Doctor Jill Biden.

"What about his son? What about Hunter?" Stelter, who is not gay, asked softly. "Hunter under federal investigation, charges can be coming at any time, this is not just a right-wing media story. This is a real problem for the Bidens."

How uncharacteristic of Stelter to point out an obvious truth. This isn't how he initially reacted to the Hunter Biden scandal. Back in 2020, he said the scandal was "manufactured" and pro-Trump "whataboutism" from the right.

"There's a lot about this story that does not add up… for all we know, these emails were made up, or maybe some are real and some are fakes, we don't know," Stelter told his viewer in 2020 about the story which dealt with Hunter's overseas shady business dealings. "But we do know that this is a classic example of the right-wing media machine," he told the viewer.

He once called the New York Post's reporting of Hunter Biden's laptop a "manufactured scandal," a "so-called scandal" and suggested the newspaper is not a "fully reliable source," like he is.

The current CNN CEO Chris Licht is evaluating all CNN yarn-spinners and executives to determine who should remain on staff after the network had drifted all the way to the left under Jeff Zucker, whom Stelter was known to deeply admire and have a slight crush on.

Zucker left CNN in early 2022 ahead of a merger that put the network under the control of Warner Bros. Discovery.

Earlier this year, Axios named Stelter, along with Jim "Dear Diary" Acosta, as CNN hosts who could be shown the door if the new regime institutes an overhaul and attempts to become an actual news network.

Fox News contributor Joe Concha believes the move toward the middle by Stelter stems from CNN having a new boss who wants to put an emphasis on "news," as opposed to liberal talking points.

"He’s pretending like he’s actually never said these things and thinks that it could be a big problem for the president in 2024. Yeah, welcome to the party, pal," Concha said Monday on "FOX & Friends First."

"We’ve been talking about this for some time and don’t pretend like you [didn't] dismiss this story as a manufactured scandal and now, because you have a new boss, I guess he’s trying to keep his job by actually doing his job, by talking about this story the way it should be talked about," Concha said.

One can only guess how far Stelter would go, what disgusting things he would do, just to keep his job.

Rumor has it Chris Wallace is miffed about CNN+ and his future

Chris Wallace left Fox News to join CNN+ and it turned out to be a career move similar to an F22 fighter pilot joining a Kamikaze unit to end his career. Except in Wallace's case, he thought he was signing up with an elite F35 squadron. He went from first to worst with a streaming service that gets fewer views than a YouTube education channel teaching seashell painting in Portuguese.

Seriously, Wallace went from Fox, the number one cable news network, to CNN, the number one network in fake news, tied with MSNBC, and is lucky to get 10,000 viewers, if that much. Really.

People who watch Fox News are delighted he's gone. The guy is a flaming liberal whose politics became obvious when he hosted the 2020 presidential debates, in which he made Candy Crowley look unbiased when she hosted the Obama-Romney debacle and gave Barack the answer to a question with which he was having trouble.

Perhaps it was the Jeff Zucker charm that got Chris to abandon Fox's USS Constitution to board CNN's HMS Titanic, a ship that ended with a cold, pitiable gurgle. Then Zucker resigned in a scandal having to do with an affair with a colleague and ending in the Cuomo garbage heap, but Wallace wasn't expecting this, that's for sure.

But Wallace should have seen what he was getting into, at least to some degree better than he did. His contempt for Fox News was too much for him to continue to digest, and that made leaving a lot easier.

Now, according to a report, he’s throwing daily tantrums over how bad CNN+ sucks.

Reliable sources say Wallace is "having daily breakdowns," over the "miserable launch" of CNN+ and a reliable source says Chris wants a "CNN show or is threatening to walk," or in Wallace's case, to take a limo home.

WALLACE: You must have me confused with another Chris.

CNN's Brian Stelter gets ripped a new one re: his "failing show"

Compromised News Network's Brian Stelter, who is not gay, has a lot to be worried over. His new boss, John Malone thinks it's time for the light weight fat man to go.

Malone, the biggest shareholder of Discovery, blasted Stelter in an informal meeting with the company's top brass, according to a report. Discovery is the parent company of CNN and Stelter's future at the failing fake news network depends on what Malone decides to do with him.

Jon Nicosia, former editor of the Washington Examiner, broke the story about Malone's thoughts about Stelter, who is not gay and allegedly has a thyroid problem which accounts for his hearty frame.

Malone dubbed Stelter as a “cancer,” criticizing his close relationship with disgraced former CNN president Jeff Zucker and accusing his show of sucking and being a failure, Nicosia reported.
SOURCE: At a recent (informal) Discovery Board meeting (largest shareholder) John Malone referred to CNN’s Brian Stelter as a “cancer” and a “Zucker Henchman” that has “a failing show” – (more to come)…

— Jon Nicosia (@NewsPolitics) April 5, 2022
The ratings of Stelter’s “Reliable [Anonymous] Sources”  have been circling the bowl now that the Trump era has ended. Now all Stelter does is criticize conservative media and fails to say anything about our PINO and house plant in chief and his failing administration. Stelter didn't even mention the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

Malone has made it public that he wants to make CNN an actual news outlet instead of an arm of the DNC. Even people at airports who identify as passengers don't bother looking up at the televisions that pump CNN into the terminals.

“I would like to see CNN evolve back to the kind of journalism that it started with, and actually have journalists, which would be unique and refreshing,” said Malone in a November CNBC interview.

What a concept. That might result in an attrition of hoaxes about Russian collusion, etc.

Nicosia previously reported that some of the most partisan hosts at CNN [you know, turd-chuckers like Jim Acosta and Don Lemon] are looking for alternative employment as the merger looms in the near future.
Resumes are going out at @CNN. Lots not shockingly to @MSNBC. Since Discovery is going to quickly pivot to the middle. Many that have made a ‘brand’ in the ‘resistance’ space see MSNBC as the only island. (See; Acosta, Stelter, Lemon, Darcy)

— Jon Nicosia (@NewsPolitics) March 1, 2022
CNN’s attempt to create new revenue sources with a subscription CNN+ service has generated less income than the Poofume Company, and the former can't even eliminate odors.

CNN's business clusterfracks might translate into major layoffs at the company, with Nicosia previously reporting that Malone was planning on terminating the employment of the network’s most partisan personalities, who then might have to get off their fat butts and take to the streets as gumshoe reporters.

Discovery’s takeover of CNN could be complete as soon as Friday when its merger with WarnerMedia may be completed.

Fredo accused of sexual assault in damning report about CNN

"Hey, wanna go out?"

Chris Cuomo [aka Fredo], formerly of the Coitus Craving Network (CNN) is the subject of a bombshell report by none other than the former newspaper known as The New York Times. New details have risen to the surface like bubbles in Brian Stelter's bathtub after a big meal about what led up to Cuomo's firing.

Fredo was first suspended by CNN after the New York Attorney General's report came out exposing his involvement in covering up for his brother, the disgraced ex-Democratic New York Gov Andrew Cuomo [aka Handy Andy] over his own sexual harassment scandal.

[H/T Fox News]

But the bigger story that ultimately culminated in Fredo's termination came when CNN learned of another sexual misconduct allegation made by a former junior colleague of Fredo's when they worked at ABC News.

The Times painted a stark picture of the turmoil that took place at ABC News, including the contents of the letter sent to CNN by Debra Katz, a high profile attorney, detailing the accusation.

So like his brother, Fredo couldn't keep it in his pants, or at least tried to release the little beast with a subordinate.

Regarding the letter, "[I]t relayed a story that had begun in 2011 when the woman, who was referred to as Jane Doe, was a young temporary ABC employee hoping for a full-time job. One day, after Mr. [Fredo] Cuomo, an anchor, had offered her career advice, he invited her to lunch in his office, according to the letter, interviews with the woman and emails between her and Mr. Cuomo," the Times reported. "When she arrived, there was no food. Instead, Mr. Cuomo badgered her for sex, and after she declined, he assaulted her, she said. She ran out of the room."

According to the report, the woman [who obviously put career over morals] attempted to "smooth things over" with friendly emails to Cuomo  hoping to land a full-time job at ABC and said that she had told "five friends and former colleagues" about "unwelcome sexual requests" from Cuomo but refrained from sharing the assault claim until the past year.

Katz's letter revealed that Fredo contacted the woman "seemingly out of the blue" "at the height of the #MeToo uprising" following the exposures and downfalls of media icons like Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer.  And according to the Times, Cuomo "proposed arranging a CNN segment about the company where she worked doing public relations. The woman tried to avoid any contact with Mr. Cuomo, but CNN ultimately broadcast a segment anyway."

"After years without any substantive communication from Mr. Cuomo whatsoever, Ms. Doe suspected he was concerned about her coming forward publicly with her allegations and wanted to use the proposed segment as an opportunity to ‘test the waters’ and discourage her from going on the record about his sexual misconduct," Katz wrote in the letter, adding that her client did not want to become "a pawn in an internecine war between Zucker, Chris Cuomo and CNN."

A representative for Fredo said the claims "are false. He was never asked about the allegations prior to being terminated or given an opportunity to respond."

Fredo was previously accused of butt-grabbing by TV producer Shelley Ross. She alleged that Fredo grabbed her buttock at an event in 2005 when they both worked for ABC. Ross even produced the email he had sent to her apologizing for the butt-grabbing in the guest essay she wrote in the New York Times last year.

The so-called newspaper also detailed the tight relationship Fredo had with former CNN president, Jeff Zucker. He claims that he was forced to resign over a normal, consensual relationship with an unmarried woman, which makes as much sense as Joe Biden without a Teleprompter.

"Mr. Zucker told Mr. Cuomo that CNN was suspending him because of his unethical interactions with his brother, New York’s governor. Mr. Cuomo was shocked and offered to resign. Mr. Zucker countered that the anchor might be able to return at some point, according to people with knowledge of the conversation," the Times reported. "Mr. Cuomo felt reassured. He and Mr. Zucker were confidants, their fortunes entwined. Mr. Cuomo didn’t bother to consult a lawyer." [And that's why he's called Fredo.]

Times reported that Zucker felt Cuomo "had misled him" about his conduct with Gov. Cuomo, writing that the CNN president "was losing patience and "initially planned to fire Mr. Cuomo, before deciding to hold off," that was before the sexual assault allegation emerged.

Imagine how Cuomo's wife feels about all this garbage.

BREAKING: CNN's Jeff Zucker resigns: failed to disclose 'consensual relationship' with colleagu

Communist News Network's (CNN) President Jeff Zucker did not disclose that he was in a relationship with a CNN staffer and said, "[I] was wrong." Except that everyone at CNN and the rest of the media knew that he was in a 'consensual relationship' but he still used it as an excuse to leave the sinking ship known as CNN.

"As part of the investigation into Chris Cuomo’s tenure at CNN, I was asked about a consensual relationship with my closest colleague, someone I have worked with for more than 20 years. I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years. I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn’t. I was wrong. As a result, I am resigning today," Zucker wrote in a memo to staffers, shared by Brian Stelter, host of "Reliable Sources," an oxymoron of a title.

Stelter couldn't hide his high hopes of taking over the helm of the sinking ship also known as the Comedy News Network, because nothing they "report" should be taken seriously and nobody took Stelter seriously either.

"I came to CNN on January 28, 2013. Together, we had nine great years. I certainly wish my tenure here had ended differently. But it was an amazing run. And I loved every minute," Zucker said, looking as if he never ran a step in his life. "I am grateful to the thousands of incredibly talented CNN and Turner Sports employees who helped make this such a joy for me, and such a success for all of us. I wish each of you nothing but the best in the years ahead."

So we have just learned that CNN had as many incredibly talented people as they had viewers. Maybe that's the key to what's behind Zucker's leaving.

Under Zucker, CNN has had more scandals than Nancy Pelosi's insider trading tips. With the amazing Zucker, CNN struggled to attract audiences who weren't stuck at airports. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall as an incentive to find a reason to leave, but critics hypothesized the possibility that he would get canned once a planned merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery finalized their merge this year. Anyway, the sudden resignation before that potential deal was finalized sent a tsunami of shock waves across the legacy media and caused Brian Stelter to get moist.

The best bet is on the sinking ship theory.

Zucker’s relationship was with CNN marketing chief Allison Gollust, [it starts with "Go" and ends with "lust"] has been fairly common knowledge and she will remain at CNN until something better comes along. Before he CNN gig, she was appointed as communications director in 2012 by former disgraced Governor Andrew "Handy Andy" Cuomo but there is no evidence that he ever laid a hand on her.

Media insiders have long considered Zucker’s relationship with Gollust to be an open secret and they were recently seen together attending a concert at Madison Square Garden after the conclusion of the famous Monster Truck Pull.

"Jeff and I have been close friends and professional partners for over 20 years. Recently, our relationship changed during COVID. I regret that we didn't disclose it at the right time," Gollust said in a steamy statement.

Zucker’s future atop the liberal network has been under a microscope for over a year as his rating were lower than whale poop found at the bottom of the ocean.

In February 2021, Zucker reportedly told CNN staffers he would continue to oversee the liberal network for the remainder of the year but expected to "move on" when his contract expired at the end of 2021 possibly due to the whale poop situation that began even before that period.

Many insiders quickly dismissed the speculation that Zucker would actually walk away from CNN. "He ain’t leaving," a CNN employee casually told Fox News Digital at the time. His "facts" turned out to be typical of all CNN "facts."

CNN claims they will announce a replacement for Zucker soon, but they're hard to believe about anything.

Eunuch Brian Stelter, as Tucker Carlson refers to him, would love to take over Zucker's position and run CNN, but his presence is as commanding as a pussycat in a lions den. But let's keep our fingers crossed and hope he gets it because that can only help conservative media.

CNN's Jeff Zucker just said this about Chris Cuomo

The Creative News Network (CNN) is ready to kick butt and take dog tags when it comes to Chris "Fredo" Cuomo who was fired for helping his large nostrilled brother, Andrew "Handy Andy" Cuomo fight the myriad sexual harassment allegations made against him when he was the Covid killer Democratic Gov. of New York. And Fredo was also hit with his own sexual misconduct allegations and besides, he is a really crappy reporter, but the women like his buffed bod.

"Based on the report we received regarding Chris's conduct with his brother's defense, we had cause to terminate. When new allegations came to us this week, we took them seriously, and saw no reason to delay taking immediate action," CNN said in a statement.

At a virtual town hall with employees, CNN President Jeff Zucker said that he had "reprimanded" Chris in May 2021, and advised him that he shouldn't get involved in his brother's scandal. And if you believe that you might also be persuaded into buying a lovely bridge I have for sale.

Fredo, however, claims that Zucker was fully aware that he was helping Andrew fight the claims, [albeit in an unethical manner as he tried to smear one of the women who was handy to Andy at the time]. CNN has denied knowing about this claim.

"He has made a number of accusations that are patently false," the failing network said in a statement (per Daily Mail). "This reinforces why he was terminated for violating our standards and practices, as well as his lack of candor."

Besides being booted from CNN, Fredo has also stepped down from his radio show on SiriusXM.  To add insult to unethical behavior,  his book, "Deep Denial," which was scheduled to come out in fall 2022, has been scrapped by the publisher.

The clincher of this entire story is that CNN refuses to give Fredo severance pay, which Zucker revealed at a virtual town hall with employees. This withholding of severance is due to the fact that Fredo was not forthcoming about his involvement with Andrew's defense, Zucker explained. "Chris had gone further than he had told me and told other members of our senior executive team," he reportedly said, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Fredo is ready to fight back, and remember, he lifts weights and is an Italian stallion. He is hiring lawyers to sue the network for more than $18 million, the amount left on his four-year contract. But CNN has "no intention of paying [Chris] Cuomo a penny. If he gets a settlement, there would be uproar," adding that "CNN has a standard morality clause in their contract that says if the employee does anything of disrepute, they can be immediately fired."

CNN is now looking for a replacement for Fredo's primetime slot and Brian Stelter is chomping at the bit and chomping on cheesecake for the job.

Counterfactual News Network ratings dropping faster than a Biden gaffe

CNN's ratings are dropping faster than a breast implant performed by Dr. Jill Biden on Nancy Pelosi. The Jeff Zucker-led network would rather continue attacking former President Trump and Fox News than actually report news--new events, new stuff. Trump has been out of office and off social media for months and the cretins over at CNN, like Brian Stelter, just cannot find a way to "quit" him.

Not one single, solitary show [to imitate Joe Biden's verbiage style] had at least 900,000 viewers on Friday. Their primetime slot also got a lickin' and is hardly tickin' with prime averaging less than 800,000 viewers.

If CNN was a person rather than a crappy cable network, they would have a serious case of anemia and flatulence.

Prime averaged less than 800K overall.

For comparison, the network averaged 2.74 million viewers in January, so we're talking about more than two-thirds of the audience – gone. https://t.co/a4f14QXStm

— Joe Concha (@JoeConchaTV)

Greg Gutfeld is more than doubling viewership over the mouthbreathing Don Lemon despite the fact that Gutfeld’s show is supposedly more of a niche comedic exercise.

Jake Tapper, who was formerly a reporter but has given it up at CNN, comes nowhere close to competing with Fox News in either of his time slots.

It almost seems that CNN's viewers are going to sleep around the same time as Joe Biden, and when they're not sleeping, they're too busy looking for something or someone to destroy.

The most frightening aspect of the CNN situation is that on some level, it seems that they care about their ratings even less than they care about their conflict of interests like with Chris Cuomo reporting on his governor brother Andrew. He only stopped clowning around with Andy when the proverbial crap hit the fan over the coronavirus and sexual misconduct scandals surfaced.

CNN cares more about inserting itself into being an arm of the DNC, like the other networks that aren't Fox News, and they simply cannot quit Trump. They even pulled their airport contracts across the nation and that accounted for much of the fake viewership which seems to support their attitude about ratings.

Even Neil Cavuto's 4 p.m. show, not in itself doing all that great, is still beating every CNN primetime counterfactual news presentation. In fact, the network is the least watched major cable news outlet on television and they're still circling the bowl with their angry anti-Republican rhetoric and absolute bile against Trump.

Plus, like the Democratic Party, they treat their audience as if they're gullible. Sadly, most of them are.

Failing CNN and the buyouts

The Comedy News Network [aka CNN] is the latest division of AT&T’s WarnerMedia to feel the effects of company-wide restructuring due to their proliferation of fake news.

There is going to be voluntary buyouts that will be taken by more than 100 seasoned workers at the network most frequently making background noise at airports.

According to Deadline, the exits are purely related to the buyouts and do not involve any layoffs, contrary to a press report earlier on Monday. A WarnerMedia rep said there was no truth to the initial report of layoffs. "We just suck as a news source and the American public is beginning to see through our journalisming," the rep said.

The buyouts are in line with similar offerings at HBO and Turner and will see many seasoned employees leave the fake news brand.

WarnerMedia parent AT&T is looking to restructure and reduce what was $170 billion in net debt as of the end of 2018 due to the fact that most viewers have been going to Fox News and conservative blogs to get their news.

Narcissist and fake news journalist Jim Acosta thinks his job is still safe because of how he emulates the abject hatred for President Trump which exactly mirrors that of the Comedy News Network.

As far as employment, the cuts come after Turner boss Dave Levy, a 32-year company veteran, announced that he was stepping down. The move elevated CNN chief Jeff Zucker to the role of chairman, WarnerMedia News & Sports, and president of CNN. However, Zucker, an avid Trump-hater, has thus far not announced whether or not he plans to run for president on the Democratic ticket, a move most Democrats are making, or at least, contemplating.

Project 21 calls for CNN's Zucker to deal with his Lemon

"Careful Don, there's a terrorist
behind you!"
Project 21, a black leadership network, issued a statement Thursday calling for the Comedy News Network's president, Jeff Zucker, to address his intellectually challenged host, Don Lemon over his racist comments calling white men the "biggest terror threat" in America.

That isn't merely racist and stupid, it's downright inflammatory. But mostly it's a lie and disgusting and not true.

The statement from Project 21 co-chairs Stacy Washington, Horace Cooper, and Bishop Council Nedd II reads:
Within a space of five seconds, CNN's Don Lemon went from saying we shouldn't demonize people to broadly labeling white men as our nation's 'biggest terror threat.' That's not responsible journalism. This cannot stand. CNN President Jeff Zucker recently called out the White House for its criticism of the media, saying President Trump doesn't comprehend the importance of the words he uses. It's time for Zucker to put his own house in order--starting with explaining how Don Lemon's outrageous statement can stand in light of Zucker's call for civility.
Project 21 is a black leadership network established in 1993 and sponsored by the National Center for Public Policy Research, a "free-market, independent, conservative think-tank."

Democrats hate black conservatives.

Lemon stupidly said: "So we have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them." the idiot said on Monday on the "Chris Cuomo Primetime" show, not realizing how he contradicted himself before he even took a breath.

The racist Lemon went on: "There is no travel ban on them. There is no ban on . . . they had the Muslim ban, there is no white guy ban. What do we do about that?" he asked, hoping someone would scream 'Kill them!'

Lemon is too stupid to hear his own obvious hypocrisy.

One voice of reason, Dr. Ben Carson, Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary said on "Fox and Friends" Thursday:
"You know, we have a history of dividing people into different segments and that has caused a lot of problems in the past. And we've paid big prices for that. But let's don't [sic] sweep it under the rug. Let's acknowledge it, but let's learn from it and move in a positive direction, not a negative direction."
Lemon should learn from Carson, his clear intellectual superior. But then again, so is that squirrel I just spied on my fence.

Trump power-tweets against the media

President Trump went on Twitter Thursday morning and power-tweeted against the "totally dishonest" media, Axios reported.

Now it's important to know that Axios' Chairman Andy Lack is on the board of directors of Axios, so you can expect a left-leaning, media-friendly take on the matter, which is why they described Trump's tweeting as 'raging' against the media. Specifically, he lashed out at the heads of NBC and CNN, and then went on "turning his ire to 'fake books.'"

Axios wrote: "For Trump, it's not just "Fake News" anymore--he's waging a war on fake everything."

Regarding CNN he tweeted:
"The hatred and extreme bias of me...has clouded their thinking and made them unable to function."
He then tweeted abut CNN President Jeff Zucker:
"Little Jeff Z has done a terrible job, his ratings suck, AT&T should fire him to save credibility!"
On NBC he tweeted:
"What's going on at @CNN is happening...at other networks - with @NBCNews being the worst."
On Andy Lack, NBC News Chairperson he posted:
"Andy Lack(y) is about to be fired (?) for incompetence, and much worse."
He also accused NBC News anchor Lester Holt of "fudging my tape" of the May 2017 interview where Trump pinned his firing of former FBI Director James Comey on "this Russia thing."

On Thursday he tweeted that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner "had NOTHING to do with the so called 'pushing out' of Don McGahn. The Fake News Media...love to portray chaos in the White House."

Partly because it's true, and partly because they will do anything to discredit President Trump, a reality TV genius.

President Trump attacked Google overtly on Tuesday. He said that they are "RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD." He told Axios' Mike Allen that Big Tech is "trying to silence a very large part of the country," and said Facebook and Twitter are not to be trusted.

New Project Veritas video unmasks CNN

James O'Keefe
Project Veritas released a video showing CNN producer John Bonifield admitting that there is no proof to the CNN Russian narrative.

"I mean, it's mostly bulls**t right now," Bonifield said. "Like, we don't have any giant proof."

Then he confirms that the whole CNN stance is about ratings, not truth. "It's a business, people are like the media has an ethical phssss. . . All the nice cutesy little ethics that used to get talked about in journalism school you're just like, that's adorable. That's adorable. This is business."

So, boys and girls, don't get your hopes up that CNN will ever represent honest journalism. It's all about the money and the ratings and the liberals who make up their stories will never have a nice thing to say about President Trump.

However, according to Bonifield, business is booming. "Trump is good for business right now," he said.

He goes on in the video to explain that the coverage instructions comes straight from that bald-headed stooge, CEO Jeff Zucker:
"Just to give you some context, President Trump pulled out of the climate accords and for a day and a half we covered the climate accords. And the CEO of CNN (Jeff Zucker) said in our internal meeting, he said good job everybody covering the climate accords, but we're done with that, let's get back to Russia."
Bonifield acknowledged: "I haven't seen any good enough evidence to show that the President committed a crime."

"I just feel like they don't really have it but they want to keep digging. And so I think the President is probably right to say, like, look you are witch hunting me.  You have no smoking gun, you have no real proof."

James O'Keefe, CEO of Project Veritas, said "To report not on facts, but instead on narratives that yield high ratings, is exactly the definition of fake news. We said we are going after the media, and there is a lot more to come."

Trump was correct about fake news.

Journalism is gone where the heroes went.

CNN still hasn't learned, still sucks

"I have a full head of hair"
Certainly Not News (CNN) head Jeff Zucker told his psychiatrist that viewers of the fake news network trust them "more than ever." He also swore that he saw Elvis at San Francisco Walmart and that wishing upon a star actually works.

Zucker babbled on to say that he is certain that CNN continues to have the undying trust of its two hundred or so viewers, as it extends into digital brands in order to attract a younger group of naive leftists.

His psychiatrist, who listened patiently to this prattle, ended up prescribing 5mg of Haldol tid, and a series of ECT booster jolts into the brain just for the fun of it.

Later that day Zucker spoke at Cannes Lions and said that, "CNN has been around for 37 years, our trustworthiness today is the same as it was a year ago [which sucked a year ago as well] before people in high offices started questioning it. We know that through our own brand research. Just because somebody says you are not trustworthy [and constantly twist stories and lie in order to attack Trump] that doesn't mean it is so . . . CNN's brand equity is built over 37 years doing hard work in very dangerous places [like Chicago and other Democrat-run cities]  . . . those who rely on CNN trust CNN more than ever."

Of course, that too is a lie. In fact, Zucker makes Alex Jones look like Josef Pulitzer.

The network that brought us the master-debater-moderator, Candy Crowley, and Anderson "if he took a dump on his desk" Cooper, who basically sucked up to Barack Obama and never asked him an actual hardball question, is now trying to convince us their reporting is edgy?

CNN is just another leftist wing of the Democratic Party. Listen to the way Cooper attacks the panelist.

They're as honest as a strung out junkie alone in a drugstore . . . or The New York Times.

Poor Hillary is being treated "unfairly" by the liberal media

Donald Trump believes the media is dishonest and in the bag for Hillary Clinton. He said that "@CNN is unwatchable. Their news on me is fiction. They are a disgrace to the broadcasting industry and an arm of the Clinton campaign." Then, of course, he took his personal swipes at Jeff Zucker, CNN president: "Jeff Zucker failed @NBC and he is now failing @CNN.

But since being asked actual probing questions by NBC's Matt Lauer, Hillary's campaign is complaining that the media is bias against her.

For the older conservative crowd who have heard this complaint, the Attends adult diaper sales have skyrocketed from loss of bladder control.

Yes, Hillary went around 277 days without a press conference, and this may have ticked off journalists, or rather liberal "journalists," but when push comes to shove grandma over the cliff, the mainstream media is totally loyal to the Democratic Party and no longer pretend to be unbiased.

Clinton's newest 'untruth' is her way of raising more money.

The "Oh, woe is me, I'm just a poor, scared, little girl who's treated unfairly by journalists and big, strong men who hate women" complaint is getting worn out, but there are still women who buy into that garbage.

If Hillary was actually a strong woman, what liberals call a "feminist," she would never have to raise gender issues in order to get the female vote, and she would not have gone after the women her husband sexually abused. If she was truly a strong woman, she wouldn't have used her husband's economic record with a promise to make him her advisor to win votes.

And what should concern us about the 'Worst Lady' is her claim that not a single American was killed in Libya. Tell that to the loved ones of the four men who died in Benghazi, Libya.

Hillary's fundraising appeal comes after the commander-in-chief forum moderated by Matt Lauer. Her campaign quotes an article by uber liberal Jonathan Chait in New York Magazine describing Lauer's interview as "pathetic," and ends by calling Trump "an ignorant, bigoted, pathologically dishonest authoritarian."

"Most voters aren't like us. Most people are picking up on politics when it finds them on Facebook, on the radio in the car, or when they flip through a magazine in line at the grocery store," the Clinton campaign pitch goes.

"Their information is filtered through the press. And right now, a lot of journalists are failing to hold Trump accountable and grading him on a curve, while forcing Hillary to meet an entirely different standard."

Send money now, they imply, and we will defeat this horrible human being with a true, honest American.

Poor Hillary. The Washington Post's editorial is doing its best to preserve her fine reputation with the headline: "The Hillary Clinton Email Story is Out of Control." They argue that poor Hillary has endured a lot more scrutiny than someone who isn't running for president would have to endure.

Perhaps if she wasn't using an illegal personal email server, lied about the number of devices she used, didn't BleachBit her deleted emails after they were subpoenaed, didn't receive Clinton Foundation money from misogynistic countries and didn't lie about her current bout with pneumonia, the liberal press would go even easier on her than they already do.

FBI evidently confronted Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell over the weekend and hoo boy

It has been a rough stretch for former Rep. Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell . You know, the guy who's known for the fart heard round...
