Josh Shapiro may have given legal advice to senior aide he was publicly claiming to investigate

Governor Josh Shapiro (D-PA) is said to be on Vice President Kamala Harris' short list for her VP pick, so it's no surprise the GOP is looking to check his background. It seems that Shapiro is accused of providing legal council to a man his office was supposed to be investigating.

A recent report from Broad + Liberty, based on a document they obtained, shows that Shapiro's office "may have been providing legal advice to then-Secretary of Legislative Affairs Mike Vereb while simultaneously investigating Vereb for workplace harassment claims made by one of his subordinates in March 2023."

It is clear that this represents a significant conflict of interest if accurate, suggesting that Shapiro's office may have been disingenuous in their investigation. One cannot effectively conduct an investigation into abuse allegations while simultaneously advising the individual being investigated without compromising the quality of one of these roles.

Vereb resigned from his position in September 2023, reportedly in connection to workplace harassment allegations raised months earlier by a female deputy in his office. This deputy, who resigned after only a month, saw the harassment and sexual assault claims settled out of court for $295,000.

When Broad + Liberty requested the documents revealing the alleged conflict of interest, Shapiro's office "largely denied the request," prompting them to appeal to the Office of Open Records. In response, the governor's office "produced an exemption log for many of the documents it wished to withhold."

Further attempts to obtain these documents have been unsuccessful, fueling speculation that the investigation documents may not exist. Trans.: Shapiro's integrity may also not exist.

In response to the requests, the governor's open records officer told Broad + Liberty that "If such investigation occurred, those records exist and are exempt – if no such investigation occurred, no such records exist."

"It would not be any surprise to me to find out there was zero investigation done," Rep. Abby Major (R) from western PA said. "I have said from the beginning that if the [accusing] documents hadn’t been leaked that [the governor’s office] would have paid the settlement, had [the accuser] sign the non-disclosure agreement, and Mike Vereb would still be working in that office."

Shapiro's spokesperson, Manuel Bonder, stated, "[A]s we have consistently emphasized, the Commonwealth upholds an independent, thorough, and professional process that enables individuals to come forward safely, as demonstrated in this case. Through this process, each investigation is conducted independently of the Governor’s Office. Any assumptions to the contrary are baseless and incorrect."

When questioned on the matter, Shapiro pointed out that Vereb was no longer part of his administration. However, it's notable that Vereb remained in Harrisburg for six months after the allegations came to light.

So it's politics as usual.

An incompetent Democrat wants to replace an incompetent Democrat as NYC Mayor

Senior citizen Covid-19 killer, sexual harassment perpetrator, and disgraced Democrat Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo has been covertly checking out his chances of taking the current incompetent Democratic Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams' job. 

Adams' approval rating is slightly lower than whale poop and his chances of reelection chances aren't very good so Cuomo wants to know what his chances are should Adams crash and burn. Even more, Adams' office is under investigation for having ties to the Turkish government, as reported in the New York Post.

Adams has not been accused of wrongdoing in the probe, and told the Post, “Let the process carry out . . . That is what’s great about our country. There is a due process system in place.”

So now that things in New York have cooled down since Cuomo resigned in 2021 and the #MeToo movement has become a joke,  the former governor hopes for a shot at running the same city where he sent thousands of elderly nursing home residents to their graves, and even wrote a self-congratulatory book about it, but with a different spin.

A person from the NY Post's "Page Six" saw Cuomo having dinner with Andrew Stein at Caravaggio on the Upper East Side. Stein, who once ran for the same position but failed, is a veteran New York City politician. The newspaper called Stein about the get together and told them, “I think Andrew would be a really good mayor. He’s experienced, and New York really needs someone like that right now.”

Yes, he could be instrumental at making room for arriving illegal aliens by getting disgusted New Yorkers to leave the city and head for a red state.

By the way, Cuomo has denied all of the sexual harassment allegations leveled against him. He also said that he supports the mayor, but his lips were moving.

Female pilot suing Southwest Airline for retaliating about reporting another pilot for stripping in cockpit

Southwest Airlines pilot Christine Janning is suing the company, her union and a former colleague who pleaded guilty in 2021 for locking the cockpit door during a flight and changing into his birthday suit in front of her.

Janning report Michael Haak to Southwest and the FBI, but the company kept Haak on despite his alleged history of sexual misconduct, and the company managers denigrated her in memos.

She also alleges that the Southwest Airlines Pilots Association conspired with the airline and refused to support her. She is suing Haak for sexual assault, and he pleaded guilty last year to a federal misdemeanor charge of committing a lewd, indecent or obscene act, to which he was sentence to probation.

Haak's lawyer, Michael Salnick, said Wednesday that his client got naked only because Janning encouraged him to do so and said he never did anything else [such as wave 'Mister Doodles' at he or touch her inappropriately]. Salnick also mentioned that there had been no prior incidents by Haak.

Southwest said it supported Janning and that it would "vigorously defend" itself against the lawsuit. The union did not respond to a phone call seeking comment. Although the media generally doesn't publicize the names of sex crime victims, Janning, through her attorney, agreed to use her name.

The lawsuit, filed last week in Orange County, Florida states that Janning had not met Haak before August 2020, when she was his first officer on a flight from Philadelphia to Orlando. She claims Haak, a 27-year veteran of Southwest, had used his seniority right the previous day to bump another pilot who was scheduled to captain the flight, but she believes he did so because he saw that his first officer was a woman.

Janning said that when they reached cruising altitude, Haak told her this was his final flight and there was something he wanted to do before retirement. So he allegedly bolted the cockpit door, put the aircraft on autopilot, stripped off his clothes and began watching pornography on his laptop. Then he apparently began cuffing the carrot for a half hour while taking photos and videos of himself.

Haak's shyster lawyer, Salnick, claimed that it was Janning who asked Haak if there was anything he wanted to do before retiring, implying, of course, that she was making him a sexual offer. He said Haak rejected those and also denied Haak ever went into manual override.

But think about it--she didn't know him, was his subordinate, and also has no history of sexual improprieties. So the probability of her making advances on him seem rather remote.

At his sentencing hearing last year, Haak called the incident "a consensual prank" that got out of hand [no pun intended].

Of course, Janning's attorney, Frank Podesta, denied she encouraged Haak or made any advances.

Janning said in the lawsuit that she was "horrified," but she kept flying the plane while taking photos "to create a record." The plane landed safely.

And that wasn’t Haak’s final flight — he flew for three more weeks.

Unfortunately, Janning didn’t report the incident to a Southwest employee relations investigator until three months later. She said she waited because her boss had previously disparaged her to a male colleague. She said she asked the investigator not to inform her boss, but she did.

Janning said she was soon told that because Haak had retired, the airline's investigation was closed. She decided to go to the FBI and Haak was charged. Janning claims the company had sent Haak to a sexual harassment counseling center in Montreal after an incident in 2008 involving a flight attendant, but Salnick claims the incident never happened and his client was never sent for counseling.

"This person will do and say whatever is necessary to obtain a financial windfall. I feel sorry for her," Salnick, who doesn't like money, said.

Janning said as retaliation for the FBI report, she was grounded for more than three months, costing her part of her salary. She was then required to take "unnecessary" flight simulator training before she could work again. Personally, I believe that the company requiring her to take the simulator training after being grounded for that period of time was actually a good idea.

She also said that on the day she was grounded, the airline stranded her in Denver and the FBI had to book her a United Airlines flight so she could return home to Florida. She said a Southwest manager sent a memo to more than 25 employees "that made baseless allegations" about her flying competency.

Southwest denied Janning's allegations, saying "we immediately supported (Janning) by cooperating with the appropriate outside agencies as they investigated."

"Our corporate Culture is built upon treating others with mutual respect and dignity, and the events alleged in this situation are inconsistent with the behavior that we require of our Employees," the statement read.

No hearings have been scheduled to date.

Irony Alert: Handy Andy Cuomo filing professional misconduct complaint against NY AG Letitia James

Former disgraced senior-killer Democratic Governor of New York and older brother of the Andy and Fredo Comedy Team, Andrew Cuomo, plans to file a complaint about, wait for it . . . a professional misconduct complaint against New York Attorney General Letitia James, another likely hopeful for the governorship of the Empire State.

James you may recall, has made it very clear that she wants to find legal dirt on President Trump, which actually lends credence to Cuomo's claim, but it's doubtful that this would come up in court.

The disgraced ex-governor's attorney, Rita Glavin, accused AG James's office of "selectively" redacting information in the bombshell sexual harassment report that led to Cuomo's resignation last year from office. She is also accused of including "materially misleading information" in the report, and "slow rolling" the release of the underlying interview depositions after announcing its findings.

Glavin said James' office has not taken Cuomo's criticisms of the report seriously. At least it seems so on the surface.

"What she [James] has done and all she has done is she has publicly dismissed our complaints," Glavin said.

Maybe Trump needs to also jump on the anti-James bandwagon, but then he would be perceived as uniting with a scumcrumpet Cuomo.

"(Cuomo) feels strongly that there was misconduct here, that the attorney general misused her office," Glavin said Thursday when she announced the complaint. She will be filing the grievance to an Attorney Grievance Committee. Glavin said it's not yet clear if Cuomo will only file the complaint against James, or if he will also name investigators who worked on the report. She did not commit to making the complaint public.

CNN's Jeff Zucker just said this about Chris Cuomo

The Creative News Network (CNN) is ready to kick butt and take dog tags when it comes to Chris "Fredo" Cuomo who was fired for helping his large nostrilled brother, Andrew "Handy Andy" Cuomo fight the myriad sexual harassment allegations made against him when he was the Covid killer Democratic Gov. of New York. And Fredo was also hit with his own sexual misconduct allegations and besides, he is a really crappy reporter, but the women like his buffed bod.

"Based on the report we received regarding Chris's conduct with his brother's defense, we had cause to terminate. When new allegations came to us this week, we took them seriously, and saw no reason to delay taking immediate action," CNN said in a statement.

At a virtual town hall with employees, CNN President Jeff Zucker said that he had "reprimanded" Chris in May 2021, and advised him that he shouldn't get involved in his brother's scandal. And if you believe that you might also be persuaded into buying a lovely bridge I have for sale.

Fredo, however, claims that Zucker was fully aware that he was helping Andrew fight the claims, [albeit in an unethical manner as he tried to smear one of the women who was handy to Andy at the time]. CNN has denied knowing about this claim.

"He has made a number of accusations that are patently false," the failing network said in a statement (per Daily Mail). "This reinforces why he was terminated for violating our standards and practices, as well as his lack of candor."

Besides being booted from CNN, Fredo has also stepped down from his radio show on SiriusXM.  To add insult to unethical behavior,  his book, "Deep Denial," which was scheduled to come out in fall 2022, has been scrapped by the publisher.

The clincher of this entire story is that CNN refuses to give Fredo severance pay, which Zucker revealed at a virtual town hall with employees. This withholding of severance is due to the fact that Fredo was not forthcoming about his involvement with Andrew's defense, Zucker explained. "Chris had gone further than he had told me and told other members of our senior executive team," he reportedly said, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Fredo is ready to fight back, and remember, he lifts weights and is an Italian stallion. He is hiring lawyers to sue the network for more than $18 million, the amount left on his four-year contract. But CNN has "no intention of paying [Chris] Cuomo a penny. If he gets a settlement, there would be uproar," adding that "CNN has a standard morality clause in their contract that says if the employee does anything of disrepute, they can be immediately fired."

CNN is now looking for a replacement for Fredo's primetime slot and Brian Stelter is chomping at the bit and chomping on cheesecake for the job.

CNN's Stelter on Cuomo's firing was just so pms-ing

The Compromised News Network's Brian Stelter spoke out about the firing of the network's leading show host, Chris "Fredo" Cuomo. Now that Fredo is gone, Brian is no longer scared of getting a nuclear wedgie he was once promised for looking at Cuomo askance in the gender neutral locker room.

Regarding the termination, CNN issued a statement after pretending to conduct serious interviews with Cuomo rather than testing the waters on ratings to help in their decision. They considered whether what Cuomo did, which was to help his brother in his political crisis due to sexual harassment claims, was worse than what Jeffrey Toobin had done with himself and his buddy he calls "Little Jeff" on a Zoom call. In Toobin's case, they simply waited until the proverbial smoke cleared and had him return to his job. In Cuomo's case, the same may happen but for a good visual in the matter, they are telling the public that he's gone for good.

Enter Brian Stelter, the host of "Reliable Sources" into the story. 

He spoke softly and rather effeminately about the firing of Cuomo now that he's gone and Stelter is safe from the wrath of an atomic wedgie, and he offered a rather harsh assessment about the fired anchor. He said that the weight-lifting meathead had been "acting like an unpaid staffer" for his brother based on the documents released by the Attorney General despite "it was known months ago" that Fredo was helping his brother, Andrew "Handy Andy" Cuomo while he was still governor of New York.

Stelter told Jim "Dear Diary" Acosta that he has "no answers" and no reliable sources as to the "additional information" CNN had learned as part of its investigation and when it would ever be made public.

Additional shlamiffable. As if the mavens of fake news didn't know what Chrissy was doing. C'mon, man.

"I think this may be a situation where it was death by a thousand cuts, where there were just so many headaches time and time again involving Chris Cuomo that even though many viewers loved ‘Cuomo Prime Time,’ looked forward to his show, he was causing so many headaches for the network and for CNN staffers that ultimately this decision was reached," Stelter said effeminately. "I do think, you know, this is a moment where journalistic ethics are at play. I know there were many CNN staffers very unhappy with the situation, very frustrated by Chris Cuomo. At the same time, Jim, I was hearing from some fans of Chris, some viewers who said we understood he was looking out for his family."

Yeah, looking out for his family by destroying the reputations of the women Handy Andy allegedly sexually harassed.

"This was always a very complicated situation," Stelter began, as most things are complicated to him. "But I think the text messages and the documents this week, showing very deeply involved, very cozy with the governor's office, very improperly working with the aides, that was ultimately why this was announced tonight," Stelter lisped.

Previously, Stelter defended Chrissy, possibly because he believe he would get his fat ass kicked if he didn't, or possibly because Jeff Zucker told him to. He downplayed Cuomo's journalistic ethics violations while those on the right not only questioned Cuomo's ethics, but his journalistic ability. The guy has the mental capacity as a cup of gym sweat. 

Yet even in August, Stelter went on the "Late Show" with former comedian Stephen Colbert to try making a case for Cuomo, claiming he had journalistic "boundaries" with his brother and insisted "if we open up the journalism ethics book, there's no page for this," proving Stelter never read the book or if he had, thought it was multiple choice.

Anyway, don't worry about Fredo, either he will be back once the heat is gone like the return of Jeffrey "Different Strokes" Toobin, or he will find another gig at MSNBC or the DNC.

NY State Assembly releases report on Cuomo's COVID cover up, sex harassment and memoir

It's beginning to look a lot like ex-Governor Andrew "Handy Andy" Cuomo is finally being outed as a serial sexual harasser, a sneaky liar, and a fraud now that the New York State Assembly released an independent impeachment report on Monday.

The report points out  “profoundly disturbing” findings that Cuomo  sexually harassed multiple female staffers, withheld the true extent of COVID-19 nursing home deaths and used government employees and resources to write his $5.2 million pandemic memoir in which he congratulates himself on the wonderful job he did with the pandemic--after all, his state only came in number 2 in deaths after New Jersey and their fellow Demolition Governor.

The report states that Cuomo's shyster lawyers failed to comply with the Assembly committee's subpoena "in any meaningful way." Just like how he handled the coronavirus crisis and Kamala Harris handled the border crisis.

“This has been a profoundly sad chapter in New York’s history. I commend Chairman Charles Lavine, the members of the Judiciary Committee and the team at Davis Polk for their hard work and diligence in completing this investigation,” Speaker Carl Heastie said in a statement. “As we have throughout this process, we will continue to cooperate with all relevant investigative bodies to provide them with the evidence we have uncovered.”

The report concludes that “[C]uomo engaged in multiple instances of sexual harassment, including by creating a hostile work environment and engaging in sexual misconduct”; and “[T]he former governor utilized state resources and property, including work by Executive Chamber staff, to write, publish and promote his book – a project for which he was guaranteed at least $5.2 million in personal profit”; and finally, “[C]uomo was not fully transparent regarding the number of nursing home residents who died as a result of COVID-19.”

The report release followed the publication of state Attorney General Letitia James' deep probe into Cuomo's sexual harassment accusations, which came out August 3, stating that the ex-Governor sexually harassed 11 women, thus violating state and federal laws. [It should be noted that Letitia James would like none other than to throw Cuomo in federal lockup, throw away the key, and become the next elected governor of New York. But in spite of that, Andrew Cuomo is still a scumcrumpet.]

So naturally, Cuomo and his minions attacked James' report even before it was released, correctly pointing out that it was politically motivated.

But two things can be true at the same time. It was politically motivated, and the allegations sound legitimate. Well, actually three things can be true--his brother Chris is also a scumcrumpet.

The Assembly report found that ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple female staffers and apparently corroborate James' report and even add to it.

Both Democrats and GOP lawmakers told The Post the findings affirm those of James' investigation and revealed that then-Gov. Cuomo withheld the extent of the nursing home deaths from COVID-19, thus rendering his book a novel.

“It strongly corroborates and enhances the findings of the attorney general’s report that the governor was sexually harassing women in his office,” Assemblyman Phil Steck (D-Colonie) said Friday, adding the report reveals new information showing a “profoundly disturbing” pattern of conduct by Cuomo.

Should we really be surprised?

Cuomo's 12th accuser included in state Assembly report to make it an even dozen

The New York state Assembly's report on ex-Gov. Andrew "Handy Andy" Cuomo (D) regarding sexual harassment will now include a 12th accuser. She claims the large nostrilled brother of CNN's Chris Cuomo, forcibly kissed her while touring her home damaged in a flood, and then sent her signed photos of his visit.

Will Andy make it a baker's dozen? We can only wait to find out.

The unwanted kiss recipient, Sherry Vill, 55, publicly accused Cuomo in March of “manhandling” her when he visited Greece, NY, just outside Rochester, in 2017 after the area was ravaged by floods.

According to the Morgan Quitno Awards, Greece was rated the ninth-overall-safest city in America and the sixth-safest city with a population of 75,000 to 99,999 except when it comes to sexual harassment.

The legislative investigation released Monday lists Vill, the married mother-of-three, for the first time as one of Cuomo’s accusers.

Vill was interviewed as part of the New York attorney general’s probe earlier this year, but her allegations were never detailed in "Governor Wannabe" Letitia James’ final report, which only listed 11 accusers. It isn't known whether Ms. James will try to look at his tweeting and Facebook histories.

The report states that Cuomo grabbed Vill's hand and laid a wet one on both cheeks without her consent when she was simply talking to the then-Governor at her most vulnerable moment in time, due to what the flood did to her home.

In spite of Vill apparently being White [we don't know how she identifies] this was a racist act that should bar Cuomo from ever running for public office for the rest of his life. 

Vill vilified Cuomo--she said he told her that she was beautiful as he came on to her outside her wet home before he grabbed her and made his signature move on her face, which she said made her "feel uncomfortable."

Not surprisingly, after Cuomo's visit, Vill said she got a phone call from a staff member in Cuomo's office inviting her to attend one of his future events for some reason or other. She said that nobody in her family or neighbors who had also met the sleaze bag during the flood tour got an invite from "the Kiss Whisperer," nor did they receive any photos from his office."

At the very least, one can say that Andrew Cuomo is a very stupid man who cannot manage to manage his libido.

When Vill first came forward with her allegations in March, she described the encounter as “so strange and inappropriate” — adding that it still made her nervous because of his power.

“I am still afraid of him, but I am no longer willing to remain silent,” she said at a press conference at the time.

It seems as if Andrew Cuomo is in trouble, but Vill he, or Vill he not suffer any consequences?

Handy Andy is preoccupied with his "hand" size says Charlotte Bennett

"Stop! In the name of love"

Charlotte Bennett, one of seven Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) accusers of sexual harassment told independent investigators that her former boss has a "preoccupation with his hand size," and told them what that apparently meant, her attorney said Monday.

Bennett, who was a former aide to the governor, spoke with outside lawyers hired by Attorney General [and a probable hopeful for the vacated governor's job] Letitia James. They spent about 4 hours on a video of a Chinese-owned company known as Zoom on Monday, her lawyer Debra Katz said.

Bennett, 25, had turned over more than 120 pages of “contemporaneous records, as well as other examples of documentary evidence” against the 63-year-old sex-driven governor with an apparently oversized libido and his staff, Katz said using different words to describe Cuomo.

In a prepared statement, Katz said a new piece of information that came to light was Cuomo’s “preoccupation with his hand size and what the large size of his hands indicated to Charlotte and other members of his staff.” [Big hands, big, giant, throbbing heart?]

Katz didn’t elaborate on that matter, but anyone born before 2005 knows what was implied by Handy Andy.

“The investigators have been moving quickly, and with sensitivity, to get to the heart of these allegations,” she said.

“We remain confident that their investigation will substantiate Charlotte’s claims of sexual harassment against Gov. Cuomo, as well as the failure of his senior staff to meet their mandatory reporting requirements under the very laws he signed.”

But will the staff's butts be put in slings? Probably not so much.

Cuomo has been accused of groping, harassing, speaking through his nostrils, or otherwise engaging in inappropriate behavior with seven women, including five current and former aides. Brain Flushings' anonymous source tells us that there may be more complaints coming from a famous group of 15 women [who will for now remain unnamed] that dance in synchrony at Radio City Music Hall and are known for their marvelous leg-kicks.

Cuomo has denied touching anyone inappropriately, except for his brother, Fredo, or any other intentional wrongdoing and has vowed to cooperate with the probe unless he changes his mind.

Doesn't it feel like this scandal isn't going to go very far, and that Cuomo is going to remain in office where he can do the most damage?

Cuomo has 2 more sexual misconduct complaints leveled against him

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) has another pair of complaints lodged against him over sexual misconduct as two former aides came forward with the allegations. This makes a total of five complaints, and state Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D) of Westchester county said that all it would take would be four allegations as her magic number before calling for Cuomo's resignation.

So far, crickets from Stewart-Cousins (D).

Karen Hinton, a former press aide to the governor, said that he summoned her to his "dimly lit" hotel room and embraced her twice after a work event in 2000, according to The Washington Post.

The accuser said she pulled away from Cuomo and he pulled her back into his body, holding her in an embrace and implying that he liked the cut of her jib and would she have crazy monkey sex with him.

Pete Ajemian, Cuomo's communication director and whose paycheck depends on whether Cuomo keeps his job, aggressively denied the allegations, in spite of his not being in that "dimly lit" hotel room with Cuomo and Ms. Hinton, so he knows what the facts are as much as my Eight Ball game.

"This did not happen," he said, almost convincingly. "Karen Hinton is a known antagonist of the Governor’s who is attempting to take advantage of this moment to score cheap points with made up allegations from 21 years ago. All women have the right to come forward and tell their story — however, it’s also the responsibility of the press to consider self-motivation. This is reckless."

Except when it's about a Republican. Then it's "believe all women." And now we have five.

In response to the Cuomo office’s denial, Hinton correctly said, "attacking the accuser is the classic playbook of powerful men trying to protect themselves."

Concurrent to Hinton's accusation, another former aide, Anna Liss, said that she worked for Cuomo between 2013 to 2015. During that time frame Gov. Cuomo asked her if she had a boyfriend, a question that's inappropriate in all circumstances at work, but especially suck-worthy when it comes from a boss. She said that Cuomo touched her on her lower back and kissed her hand as she rose from her desk.

At first, Liss saw Cuomo's flirtations as harmless, which shows that she didn't know much about men at least during that time in her life. Predictably as time went on, she began to see his overtures as patronizing and said it diminished her from an educated professional to "just a skirt."

"It’s not appropriate, really, in any setting," she said.

Meanwhile, two male aides told The Post that the governor routinely used explicit language to berate them, calling them "pussies" and saying, "You have no balls."

Cuomo's claims regarding his male aides remain unsubstantiated at this time, and Andrea Stewart-Cousins is still mum.

Gov. Cuomo has another accuser come forward

New York Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo alleged past is coming back to shove a very large Q-Tip up his substantial nostrils. Now a second accuser, a former aide to the governor, has come forward and accuses him of sexual misconduct. This is just days after his first accuser made her claims to the public.

Charlotte Bennett, 25, who is described by the former newspaper The New York Times as "an executive assistant and health policy adviser in the Cuomo administration until she left in November," alleges that Cuomo "asked her questions about her sex life, whether she was monogamous in her relationships and if she had ever had sex with older men."

It is quite possible that he was "testing the waters" to see if Ms. Bennett would be a willing participant in a diddle-fest but we cannot read his dirty mind.

The young staffer described to The Times, [a paper often used as a birdcage liner], about an incident that took place in June when she was "alone" with the 63-year-old fart of a governor in his State Capitol office. 

According to the report, he allegedly asked her if she thought age made a difference in romantic relationships and that he was open to having relationships with women in their 20s, which were noted by the Times as "comments she interpreted as clear overtures to a sexual relationship." 

But perhaps he was just making innocent conversation and had she said that she was indeed open to the idea of such a relationship, he would have blushed and succumbed to the vapors and upon arising, would have stated to Ms. Bennett that he was only joking.

While Bennett alleges that Cuomo never tried to physically touch her, the "message" during that exchange was "unmistakable to her."

But perhaps it is she who has the dirty mind.

"I understood that the governor wanted to sleep with me, and felt horribly uncomfortable and scared," Bennett told the rag known as The Times. "And was wondering how I was going to get out of it and assumed it was the end of my job."

According to the rag, Bennett disclosed the incident to Cuomo's chief of staff Jill DesRosiers a few days later and submitted a lengthier statement to Cuomo's special counsel Judith Mogul towards the end of the month. She was also transferred to another job as health policy adviser, placing her on the opposite side of the Capitol building.

Ms. Bennett told The Times,  [once known as the paper of record, now known as the fake news leader] that she didn't persist in seeking an investigation because she "wanted to move on" and that she was content with her new job. There is also the possibility that she was afraid of Cuomo and what would happen if she went public.1

In a press release on Saturday, Cuomo referred to Bennett as a "hardworking and valued member of our team during COVID" who has "every right to speak out."

"When she came to me and opened up about being a sexual assault survivor and how it shaped her and her ongoing efforts to create an organization that empowered her voice to help other survivors, I tried to be supportive and helpful," Cuomo claimed in a statement. "Ms. Bennett's initial impression was right: I was trying to be a mentor to her. I never made advances toward Ms. Bennett nor did I ever intend to act in any way that was inappropriate. The last thing I would ever have wanted was to make her feel any of the things that are being reported."

He also allegedly wanted to have sex with her, but that's water under the bridge and neither here nor there.

Cuomo added that he will "have no further comment" until a "full and thorough outside review" of Bennett's claims is conducted and concluded.

As the Times noted in its report, Cuomo did not deny Bennett's claims about asking such personal questions.

Cuomo's special counsel Judith Mogul also released a statement, which read in-part, "Ms. Bennett's concerns were treated with sensitivity and respect and in accordance with applicable law and policy... The determination reached based on the information Ms Bennett provided was that no further action was required which was consistent with Ms Bennett's wishes."

So if Cuomo is a pig and leaves Bennett alone, all is okay in Albany.

Lindsey Boylan, Cuomo's first accuser, published a damning essay on the website Medium in which she accused the failed governor of going "out of his way to touch me on my lower back, arms and legs." He also allegedly kissed her on her lips at a one-to-one briefing, and suggested they "play strip poker" during a plane ride. 

Cuomo's defense against those allegations was to show the flight manifest proving Boylan was on the flight--making her point for her and showing he's an idiot, possibly even dumber than his brother Fredo.

Boylan showed her support of Bennett writing, "I am with you Charlotte. We are with you. Always. I am so proud of you Charlotte."

Cuomo's office denied Boylan's sexual harassment claims, calling them "simply false" and insisting the strip poker comment "did not happen."

Halperin's book sells 502 copies, probably to family

Former MSNBC political analyst and woman-groping scumcrumpet, Mark Halperin, wrote a how-to book with lots of words. If you count the hours spent writing the book, add to that the time to do research for the book [perhaps a half hour], Halperin may have made $1.45 an hour for all the hard work he put into the book.

Hardly pizza money.

The book, "How to Beat Trump: America's Top Political Strategists On What It Will Take" sold a mere 502 copies, evidently, mostly to family and an enthusiastic friend.

The description of the book on Amazon claims, "more than 100 million anxious Americans want to know: how can Donald Trump be beaten in 2020 and evicted from the White House?" It should have instead boasted: "more than 500 clueless Americans want to know how anyone on the far-left can defeat Donald J. Trump in 2020?"

Of course, the answer is simple, but the book pretends that it's complicated. All the Democrats have to do to beat Trump is to not be crazy.

Of the 502 purchasers of the novel, six bothered to review the book on Amazon. Suffice it to say, the reviews were not as glowing as Halperin's face tends to get after groping an unsuspecting women.

One reviewer who goes by the handle Ball Student wrote, "He'd be better off avoiding speculation and sticking to areas he has extensive experience in: groping female employees." This was apparently in reference to the allegations of sexual harassment and assault from 12 women who came forth publicly to accuse Halperin of sexual harassment or assault. He publicly denied the allegations but a dozen people with believable stories may be telling the truth. He also refused to apologized to his alleged victims because an apology is an admission of guilt.

Former Comedy News Network (CNN) producer Eleanor McManus, who also said she was victimized by Halperin, criticized Regan Arts for signing him to a book deal despite his refusal to apologize.

"He has yet to take responsibility for his actions by apologizing to his victims or demonstrating genuine contrition," McManus said. "Giving him a book once again puts him in a position of authority and that is a slap to all the women that he has victimized."

Nothing But Compromised News (NBC News) terminated "the Gun Slinger" in light of the allegations. He has since started his own political blog and one can imagine that it has at least 502 followers.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg has her own #MeToo too

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg confessed that she, like many other women, had her own brush with sexual harassment and gender inequality.

Of the #MeToo movement the 84-year-old Brooklynite said: "It's about time."

"Every woman of my vintage knows what sexual harassment is, although we didn't have a name for it," the elderly SCOTUS liberal told a crowd during a forum to promote her new documentary "RBG" at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday. "The attitude toward sexual harassment was simply, 'Get past it. Boys will be boys.'"

Ginsburg told NPR's legal correspondent and longtime liberal friend Nina Totenberg, about an incident that she said occurred when she was a law student at Cornell University in the early 1950s, before most people were born.

Ginsburg spoke about her concerns with her chemistry teacher over her "abilities" ahead of an important exam. He comforted her and told her he'd give her a practice exam to make her more comfortable with the test.

"The next day--on the test--the test is the practice exam. And I knew exactly what he wanted in return," Ginsburg claimed. "That's just one of many examples," she added, without actually giving an example of what happened.

But Ginsburg refused to slough off the professor's inappropriate unexplained gesture. After the exam, she walked straight up to him and confronted him, she said.

"I went to his office and I said, 'How dare you! How dare you, you--" she said without clarifying what the end of her sentence was. "And that was the end of that."

When Ginsburg taught at Rutgers Law School in 1964, she quickly saw how she was treated differently than her male colleagues. 

Because Rutgers was a state school in New Jersey, she knew she'd be taking a pay cut, but when the dean told her how big a cut, she was mortified. She asked a male colleague who had graduated from law school about the same time as her what he was being paid and the difference was quite substantial.

"Ruth, he has a wife and two children to support. You have a husband with a good paying job in New York," the dean responded.

That was the very year the Equal Pay Act had passed," Ginsburg said. "That was the answer that I got."

So the Women's March on Saturday was never about equal pay and equal rights for women--it's now law, just like protection from harassment in the workplace is law. 

The Women's March was actually an anti-Trump march because that's the main issue women really care about.

Report: NBC paid off woman who said Chris Matthews harassed her

According to The Daily Caller, NBC paid out thousands of dollars to an assistant producer on MSNBC's "Hardball with Chris Matthews," which apparently gives new meaning to the title of the show. This came nearly twenty years after she brought a sexual harassment complaint against "Tingles."

Citing two sources, The Daily Caller reported that the network paid the woman $40,000 to settle her 1999 claim against former President Obama's biggest fanboy. And an NBC spokesperson told the online media outlet the network paid a smaller, unspecified amount to her as part of a severance package [to keep her mouth shut].

The woman complained to NBC executives that Matthews had made inappropriate comments to her and made inappropriate jokes about her to others. That is due, in part, to Matthews, now 71, being an idiot.

Matthews was given a formal wrist-slapping at the time of the complaint but the network decided the complaints were "inappropriate and juvenile" but were not intended as propositions, [but if she was won over by them, Matthews would have likely followed up on them as many men use juvenile statements as ways of checking the temperature of the water, so to speak].

Matthews has hosted "Hardball" on MSNBC since 1997 and the syndicated "Chris Matthews Show" between 2002 and 2013. He has allegedly written eight books all by himself.

Rep. Farenthold under House Ethics Committee investigation

Rep. Brent Farenthold (R.-Tx.) is now under a House Ethics Committee investigation over allegations that he sexually harassed a former aide and then retaliated when she complained about it.

Last week, Politico reported that a $84,000 taxpayer-funded sexual harassment settlement was paid by the Office of Congressional Ethics in 2014 after allegations were made against the congressman.

Now that he's been outed, Farenthold said this week that he will repay the money he misused for his personal legal needs. He didn't exactly put it in those terms, but you get the idea.

"I want to be clear that I didn't do anything wrong, but I also don't want taxpayers to be on the hook for this," the sleazeball said, after letting three years go by before he decided he didn't want the taxpayers to be on the hook.

Drain the swamp.

The historically useless panel will also examine whether  Farenthold discriminated against the staffer on the basis of her gender, and if he retaliated against her for complaining of discriminatory conduct. They will also investigate as to whether he made additional inappropriate statements to other staffers.

Rep. Mia Love (R.-UT) was the second House Republican to call on Farenthold to resign on Thursday after Rep. Barbara Comstock (R.-Va.) was the first.

Bech K. Brunn, chairman of the Texas Water Development Board resigned from his post and appears to be running for Farenthold's seat if he's unseated.

Ben Affleck accused of groping Hilarie Burton

What's good for the goose is allegedly good for Ben Affleck. The pressure is on him now that the Harvey Weinstein scandal is out of the closet. 

Actress Hilarie Burton claimed on Twitter that she was groped by Afflect during his appearance on TRL (Total Request Live) which she was hosting in 2003. The claim came just hours after Affleck issued a carefully worded statement condemning Weinstein's alleged sexual assaults and harassment of actresses that spanned three decades, including such names as Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie.

Affleck's statement, which came after five days of silence from him and other notable folks (like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, for example) he was summarily attacked by Rose McGowan, the actress instrumental in exposing Weinstein.

McGowan insinuated she had told Ben Affleck about her experience with sleazy Weinstein, and he reacted in a way that suggested he knew Weinstein's "MO" with women and how he harassed them and was sexually inappropriate. 

McGowan and Affleck co-starred in Phantoms, in 1998. The film was distributed by Weinstein's Miramax and released the following year after an alleged episode between Weinstein and McGowan at a Sundance hotel room. Weinstein paid her $100,000 which kind of makes him look like he had done something and he wanted her to keep her mouth shut about it.

One fan tweeted that Affleck might as well have "kept quiet," and another Twitter user tweeted: "He also grabbed Hilarie Burton's breasts on TRL once. Everyone forgot though."

Then Hilarie Burton jumped into the Twitter thread confirming that she remembered the incident in which she wrote: "I was a kid."

Yes, she wa a 21-year-old 'kid' at the time--too young to say something because she was afraid she'd never go far in Hollywood, I suspect.

Then she tweeted a clip of TRL outtakes and says (most likely referring to the Affleck groping): "he comes over and tweaks my left boob." With that clip, which was edited and presented as a glimpse at life behind the scenes on TRL, commenting in a way that suggests she laughed off the incident as a psychological defense.

McGowan claims she was assaulted by Weinstein in 1997 and has been calling out the Affleck brothers over their silence on the Weinstein scandal all week.

Bill O'Reilly gone from Fox News

Bill O'Reilly is no longer going to be the Fox News icon--he's done. He has been forced out as a prime-time host after it has been disclosed that multiple settlements involving sexual harassment allegations have been made against him.

O'Reilly's ouster ends his two-decades as the most popular and influential cable TV commentator.

"After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the company and Bill O'Reilly have agreed that Bill O'Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel," 21st Century Fox, the parent company of Fox News, said in a statement.

To the credit of Fox News Channel, they stood by O'Reilly even after the allegations of sexual harassment were piled on. He reached settlements with five women to the tune of around $13 million.

Apparently, after more than 50 advertisers abandoned O'Reilly's show, "The Factor," it was time for Fox to call it quits. 

The New York Times reported that inside the company, women were outraged and questioned whether Fox executives were "serious about maintaining a culture based on 'trust and respect,' as they had promised last summer when another sexual harassment scandal forced the ouster of Fox News' chairman, Roger Ailes."

O'Reilly, 67, didn't comment on his status since he left on vacation last week, but his attorney issued a statement Tuesday calling it a "smear campaign" by liberal opponents. It said that Mr. O'Reilly "has been subjected to a brutal campaign of character assassination that is unprecedented in post-McCarthyist America.

With the 8 p.m. spot empty, Fox will move Tucker Carlson in that time-slot and move "The Five" from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Beginning May 1st, Eric Bolling will debut a one-hour program at 5:00 p.m. Martha MacCallum's show, "First 100 Days" will remain permanent. Perhaps they will rename it "First 1461 Days" to cover President Trump's first term in office.

O'Reilly's departure follows that of Roger Ailes who, nine months ago, was forced out as chairman after a sexual harassment lawsuit by former host Gretchen Carlson and at least six other women, all of which he denied. One of those women is Megyn Kelly who also clashed with O'Reilly and has since left Fox for liberal NBC last December.

The message that Rupert Murdoch and his sons are sending is that there is now a change in the company's culture and harassment is unacceptable.
