New York's East Village voted for Comrade Mamdani by 70%, now suing him

Comrade Mamdani

Leftists sometimes [however rarely] experience the misery that their cherished policies inflict on the rest of us in a direct manner. That's happening right now in the East Village, where they voted in massive numbers for the Marxist Mayor Zohran Mamdani, only to have him decide that they would be among the first to be punished.

Mamdani’s fellow Twelver Shi’ite, the Ayatollah Khomeini, also allied with the Communists, only to imprison and kill them after he took power. Now Mamdani wants to inflict violent and criminal homeless people on the affluent leftists of the East Village.

The idea is to demoralize and threaten them until they will support the authoritarian policies that are the heart and center of leftism. Well, it could not happen to a nicer bunch, but they are just toward the beginning of the line. There will be many more victims to come. As H.L. Mencken said in "A Little Book in C Major (1916): "Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard."

East Village residents who voted for New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani by a 40-point margin are now suing to stop a building in their neighborhood from becoming a temporary homeless shelter.

The lawsuit, filed with the New York City Supreme Court on Monday, shows hesitation even among Mamdani supporters about the cost of implementing some of his plans.

News of the lawsuit has prompted conservative mockery online, with figures like Sen. Ted Cruz, (R-TX) noting the irony of Mamdani’s supporters turning on the fruits of his administration.

“Oops,” Sen. Ted Cruz said in a post to X.

“No one is more ‘not in my backyard’ than white progressives. This community voted for Mamdani in a landslide but don’t want to live with the consequences,” Michael Henry, a former New York attorney general candidate, wrote on social media.“Not shocked,” Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) said in a post.

Election District 45, the area that includes East Village, voted for Mamdani in a 70.1% victory over independent candidate Andrew Cuomo, who garnered just 26.0% of the vote. It was one of those "hold your nose and vote" situations with these choices.

Even so, 10 residents joined the Village Organization for the Integrity of Community Engagement (VOICE) in their suit against the city after Mamdani announced plans earlier this year to turn a building at 8 East 3rd Street into a citywide intake shelter to house homeless adult men.

The filing argues the city fast-tracked the process without proper environmental and legal safeguards.

Can I get an Allahu akbar!

Democratic Hochul aide under investigation over alleged migrant shelter bribes

Federal prosecutors are investigating whether a New York City council-member and her sister, a top aide to Gov. Kathy Hochul, accepted bribes or kickbacks tied to city funding steered to a migrant shelter provider, according to a search warrant obtained by The Associated Press.

The March 19 warrant seeks evidence of possible criminal conduct involving Council-member Farah Louis, a Brooklyn Democrat, her sister, Debbie Louis, Hochul’s assistant secretary for New York City intergovernmental affairs, and Edu Hermelyn, husband of Assembly member Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn, the chair of the Brooklyn Democratic Party.

A spokesperson for Hochul said Debbie Louis was placed on leave last week after the governor became aware of the federal corruption probe. Someone answering a phone number associated with Louis ended the call when asked by the AP about the investigation, and the AP reported messages left for Farah Louis and Hermelyn were not returned.

New York City Council-member Farah Louis is reportedly under federal investigation for an alleged bribery scheme.  According to the warrant, investigators are examining whether the three received benefits in exchange for actions taken on behalf of BHRAGS Home Care Inc., a Brooklyn nonprofit that historically provided in-home care for sick and elderly clients.

As New York City’s migrant influx intensified in 2022, BHRAGS broadened its work to include emergency shelter operations for asylum seekers and other homeless services. Since then, public records show the group has been awarded more than a dozen contracts worth upward of $200 million from the city’s Department of Homeless Services.

"This is political persecution driven by the far-right, targeting immigrants and the leaders who stand with them," a political insider tied to Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn told the New York Post on Monday. "There are no charges at this time, and the facts will ultimately lead to this case being dropped on its merits."

An attorney for BHRAGS Executive Director Roberto Samedy declined to comment to the AP.The warrant also seeks records of money transfers and communications involving Edouardo St. Fort, a former New York Police Department sergeant who retired in 2023. That same year, records indicate his firm, Fort NYC Security, secured a $3 million contract from the Department of Homeless Services. AP calls and emails seeking comment from St. Fort were not returned. The warrant’s existence does not mean charges are imminent. It indicates only that federal investigators convinced a judge they had sufficient grounds to search for and seize potential evidence.

The probe lands amid broader scrutiny over how New York City awarded emergency shelter contracts during the migrant crisis, when the arrival of tens of thousands of asylum seekers strained the city’s shelter system and prompted officials under then-Mayor Eric Adams to rapidly expand housing capacity through outside providers.

Some of those arrangements have drawn criticism from watchdogs and political opponents, who questioned the speed, scale and oversight of the contracting process.

The figures named in the warrant are all connected to Brooklyn’s Democratic political establishment, which has been rocked by a series of ethics controversies in recent years. Hermelyn, who once served as a senior adviser to Adams, stepped down after questions were raised about whether his role as a Brooklyn district leader conflicted with rules barring certain dual government positions. He also went on to advise former Gov. Andrew Cuomo during Cuomo’s unsuccessful mayoral campaign.

The Trump administration, led by fraud investigation czar Vice President JD Vance, has prioritized federal law enforcement investigations nationwide.

Just this week, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's Treasury Department announced it is offering whistleblowers a major financial incentive to help expose fraud, directing would-be tipsters to the Treasury.gov website, telling Fox News on Monday that the administration has already received more than 700 leads.

The Treasury’s whistleblower page says eligible tipsters can receive between 10 percent and 30 percent of monetary sanctions collected for successful actions.

While Minnesota fraud among the state's Somali community has made headlines thus far thanks to independent journalist Nick Shirley's reporting, Bessent actually praised that state for having some level of transparency that is not permitted in California or New York.

"That's why that young man, Nick Shirley, was able to go to see the scams, because it was: This is the name of the facility, this is the address, this is how much money they got," Bessent said. "Oh look, it's an empty storefront. There's no one here. New York, California are hiding it."

Holy Swalwell! Alleged Chinese Spy in Kathy Hochul’s Inner Circle Was Forging Signatures Like It Was No Big Deal?

You seriously can’t make this stuff up, folks.

Linda Sun, a high-flying New York Democrat insider who served under both Andrew "Love Gov" Cuomo and current Governor Kathy Hochul, has been indicted for allegedly acting as a straight-up Chinese agent. We're talking fraud, bribery, money laundering, and, just imagine this, failing to register as a foreign agent for the Chinese Communist Party.

But the juiciest part is how this woman was apparently so brazen that she was forging Kathy Hochul's 'Jane Hancock' on love letters to Chinese officials, like it was just another Tuesday in Albany. The New York Post dropped the bombshell details from the ongoing trial:
Alleged Chinese mole Linda Sun brazenly forged then-Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul’s signature in glowing missives sent to dignitaries from the Henan province, according to the feds and documents presented at her bombshell trial.

Jurors in Brooklyn federal court were shown copies of letters purportedly sent by Hochul on March 26, 2018, inviting a six-member delegation from the province in central China to a meeting with then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
But the letters bore clearly forged versions of Hochul's signature, that featured "overly loopy" handwriting, her former chief of staff Jeff Lewis testified.

"From my experience, this is not how she would sign her name," Lewis told jurors last week. That’s federal-prosecutor speak for "we caught your butt red-handed."

Prosecutors say Sun was running a full-on influence op: cozying up to Beijing, pushing their talking points inside New York government, blocking Taiwanese reps from events, and even trying to get Hochul to parrot CCP propaganda. All while her husband's business raked in millions from Chinese-connected deals and the family got gifted everything from fancy meals to a pet hamster [really].

This wasn't some low-level staffer. She was a top aide with the keys to the governor’s office; first Cuomo's, then Hochul's. A literal alleged Chinese mole burrowed deep inside New York’s power structure that would make even Eric Swalwell and Dianne Feinstein proud.

And somehow this isn't 24/7 wall-to-wall national news? I cannot imagine why.

We have Chinese spies popping up in California, in our universities, on military bases, and now allegedly forging signatures in the lieutenant governor’s office.

Wake up, America! But sure, keep telling me the real national security threat is parents at school board meetings and those pesky MAGA Republicans.

Unbelievable.

DeSantis Drops Epic Burn on NYC's Potential Refugee Crisis: 'Gonna Have to Charge an Entry Tax'

Oh, the drama in the Big Apple. As New Yorkers had braced for what could be the ultimate "get me outta here" moment in the mayoral race, the chatter's a mix of eye-rolls, escape plans, and, let's be real, a whole lot of schadenfreude from the rest of us thankfully living elsewhere.

Now that comrade Zohran Mamdani pulled off the win, we're talking biblical-level exodus. A Daily Mail poll drops the bomb: 765,000 folks would bolt for the hills "definitely," with another 2 million mulling it over like finding out your Tinder date was not the gender you though they were.

"The departure of at least 765,000 citizens would be one of the biggest mass exoduses in American history, with a population equivalent in size to Washington DC, Las Vegas or Seattle leaving the Big Apple," the outlet helpfully reminds us.

Yes, nothing says "progress" like turning the city that never sleeps into the city that never stops hemorrhaging residents. So, where do all these freedom-seekers scatter? Straight to the red-state promised lands, baby. Places with sane taxes, actual beaches, and governors who don't treat businesses like piƱatas at a Castro family reunion. So Florida's at the top of the list, now that Mamdani beat the two narcissists, Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa.

Ron DeSantis, the Sunshine State's unflappable boss, has been fielding this refugee roulette like a pro for months. Back in early July, right after Mamdani snagged the Dem primary like it was free kale at a Bernie rally, DeSantis unloaded on Fox News with Sean Hannity:
"We've absorbed a lot of people over the years," DeSantis told Fox News' Sean Hannity on Tuesday evening. "I think this guy's policies, soup to nuts, are probably the most radical left that I've ever seen of a major party candidate in a big jurisdiction."
"I'm telling you, I think I'm going to have to charge an entry tax or something because of this guy, because I don't know if we're going to be able to absorb everyone that's going to flee his poor rule if he gets in."
Classic DeSantis: part policy wonk, part stand-up comic. He doubled down on Election Day because why not troll the coastal elites when they're handing you the mic? He even joked (perhaps only half jokingly?) with one X user that he'd consider sending the NYC refugees to southern Connecticut if necessary.

Now, let's get real for a second, because this isn't just DeSantis' problem, it's the eternal gripe of every red-state conservative who's watched their quiet slice of paradise get "Californicated."

You know the drill: Blue-city refugees flood south, wallets fat from remote work, griping about the old regime... only to start voting for rent control, bike lanes that go nowhere, and school boards that prioritize pronouns over phonics. Suddenly, your affordable suburb's got avocado toast prices and drag queen story hours on speed dial.

Don't get me wrong, Florida has the room, and DeSantis is the guy you'd want manning the border (irony noted). But here's my hot take, unfiltered: If you're ditching a blue hellhole because it's too pricey, too regulated, too everything, do us all a solid and leave the socialism at the Holland Tunnel. Don't waltz into Raleigh, Austin, or Miami preaching the gospel of "tax the rich" that turned your old zip code into a ghost town.

Call it gatekeeping if you want, or call it tough love. But in a world where the left's "compassion" means funding open borders and defunding cops, red states are the last bulwark against the madness.  Vote wisely. And maybe leave the DSA membership card behind.

Let's wait and watch what happens next in the newly elected blue cities.

Brad Lander’s Immigration Court Stunt Ends in Handcuffs Making Him Perfect Candidate for NYC mayor

New York City’s comptroller and wannabe mayor Brad Lander, a Democrat of course, decided to play hero at an immigration court, and it went about as well as you’d expect for a lefty grandstanding in a federal building. The guy got himself arrested Tuesday, right in the middle of trying to “accompany” some poor soul out of a Manhattan courtroom. Spoiler alert: the feds weren’t impressed.

Lander, ever the cos playing crusader, was physically clinging to a detainee like he was auditioning for a buddy cop movie. Federal agents, clearly not in the mood for his nonsense, told him straight up, “You’re obstructing.” Lander’s response? A classic, “I’m not obstructing, I’m standing right here in the hallway,” sounding like a YouTube arrestee not allowing cops to cuff them.

As the agents tried to pry Lander off the detainee, he put up a brief struggle, because nothing says “I’m helping” like wrestling with law enforcement. Eventually, they cuffed him and marched him off, with one officer rocking a tactical vest labeled “federal agent” and others sporting surgical masks like they just stepped out of a dystopian flick.

Lander, undeterred, sounding like a sovereign citizen shouted, “You don’t have the authority to arrest U.S. citizens asking for a judicial warrant,” as they hauled him into an elevator. Bold move, yelling legal theories at guys who clearly don’t care.

This whole scene went down while Lander was supposedly “observing” immigration court hearings, probably less about observation and more about scoring points for his Democratic mayoral primary campaign. Early voting’s already underway, and his team’s spinning this like it’s a badge of honor. Their statement? “While escorting a defendant out of immigration court at 26 Federal Plaza, Brad was taken by masked agents and detained by ICE.” Masked agents! Sounds like they’re trying to pitch this as a blockbuster thriller.

Meanwhile, the FBI and ICE haven’t bothered responding to emails about this mess, probably because they’re too busy dealing with the nationwide wave of immigration court arrests. Lander’s little stunt didn’t exactly stop the machine, it just got him a free ride in cuffs.

If this is his idea of leadership, New Yorkers might want to think twice before handing him the keys to City Hall. But then again, they handed them to Andrew Cuomo.

NY City faces tragedy of an anti-Semitic mayor

Anti-Semites are small-minded people who, for reasons of hatred or envy, or more likely a combination of both, have become a rampant part of Western society. We find Jew-haters on Ivy League campuses like Columbia and Harvard, where Jewish students are made to feel unsafe, and are frequently attacked to ensure their feelings are justified, and at activist rallies where, for example, Israeli flags are burned and hatred is proudly spewed. In fact, we now see anti-Semitism here in some members of Congress.

New York City has the largest Jewish population in the United States, with approximately 960,000 Jews as of 2023, nearly half of whom live in Brooklyn, where this writer was born and raised.

If voters want to see New York City fall into the dustbin of history and totally collapse, all they need to do is elect an anti-Semitic mayor. Just look at history where the rise of anti-Semitism occurs and understand that it is a bellwether of the ruin of that society.

Want examples, check out Nazi German, the USSR and even the Spanish Inquisition.

Electing a Jew-hating mayor who looks the other way when anti-Semitic crime occurs, will have huge numbers of city residents to pack up and leave. Some of these people are the city's wealthiest and this will destroy the real estate market, destroy cultural institutions and lead to total moral decay.

Everyone who can leave, will make book; not just Jews, but non-Jews as well.

I left New York City a decade and a half ago, but my friends back home are making plans to leave. They've considered states such as Florida and Texas, to name a few. The swastikas spray-painted on walls and on the desks of their kids in public schools was a harbinger of bad things to follow.

Fox News Digital referenced that public school students in the city "casually referring to high performers in math as 'the Jew table,'" adding "how a Queens community garden posting a ban on Zionists, a 13-year-old Jewish boy slapped in the face while riding his bike through his neighborhood."

Fully 60% of hate crimes in New York City have been anti-Semitic, despite the fact that Jews comprise only 10% of the city's population.

While all the top contenders for mayor say they deplore anti-Semitism, remember: politicians lie, and anti-Semitic lie when their lips move.

The most dangerous lying candidate is Zohran Mamdani, a state assemblyman currently polling second in the Democratic primary behind former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Mamdani is making the rounds at Jewish events, attended at least seven public and private meetings and meals with Jewish leaders in the last month.

On Friday he posted an official campaign video proclaiming himself a defender of the Jewish people, promising an "800% increase" in city spending to "combat anti-Semitism."

"In this election, we're seeing ... the pain of Jewish New Yorkers being weaponized as a talking point," he moaned.

If you believe him, you would also believe chickens have lips. Mamdani has backed the disgusting anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement. He has called Israel's actions against Gaza "genocide," and recently refused to cosponsor two Assembly resolutions to condemn the Holocaust and recognize the state of Israel.

He is an obvious liar and voters need to see him for what he is.

"Mamdani has been fanning the flames of antisemitism, and now he wants us to believe he's the firefighter," warned David Greenfield of the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty, a major Jewish charity.

The New York Times softened Mamdani's stance on Jews and Israel by calling them "nuanced." Bull pucks! He's a morally bankrupt Jew-hater.

Meanwhile, Cuomo is betting on Jewish voters, relying on a record of supporting Israel and promoting its business ties with New York, as well as signing an anti-BDS bill in 2016. So as long as COVID-19 is out of the headlines, Cuomo has a good shot at a primary win.

Hopefully, Mayor Eric Adams' newly announced Office to Combat Antisemitism will produce real results.

Adams, who is not competing in the June 24 primary, hopes to appear on November's general election ballot as an independent candidate on two lines -- including one called "EndAntiSemitism." Of course, Adams is pandering, but at least we know Adams actually is a real ally of the Jewish community and backs Israel's military campaign against the Hamassholes.

Not so much the Democrat Party, unfortunately.

Andrew Cuomo under investigation over allegedly lying about COVID decisions

"Mr. Cuomo, do you have anything that will poke me, hurt me, or stick me?"

The Justice Department’s got former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in its crosshairs, and it’s a wild ride.

Word on the street is that the DOJ’s sniffing around Cuomo for allegedly pulling a fast one on Congress about his COVID-19 decisions while he was running the Empire State. This has been confirmed by Fox News.

The New York Times dropped the bombshell that the U.S. attorney’s office in D.C. kicked off this probe about a month ago, right after top DOJ brass told prosecutors to drop corruption charges against NYC Mayor Eric Adams like a hot potato.

The DOJ’s keeping its lips sealed, declining to comment to Fox News.

Now, here’s where it gets spicy. The Trump administration is in a weird spot, closing the book on Adams’ case while cracking open a fresh one on Cuomo, Adams’ big rival, just months apart. Talk about a political soap opera. Cuomo’s gunning for the Big Apple’s mayor spot in the Democratic primary, while Adams is fighting to keep his seat as an independent.

Cuomo’s camp isn’t taking this lying down. His spokesperson, Rich Azzopardi, came out swinging: “We have never been informed of any such matter, so why would someone leak it now? The answer is obvious: This is lawfare and election interference plain and simple—something President Trump and his top Department of Justice officials say they are against. Governor Cuomo testified truthfully to the best of his recollection about events from four years earlier, and he offered to address any follow-up questions from the Subcommittee — but from the beginning this was all transparently political.” Shots fired.

Last year, Republican lawmakers grilled Cuomo like a cheap steak over his handling of the COVID-19 clusterfrack. House Republicans didn’t hold back, urging the DOJ to slap him with criminal charges for allegedly lying through his teeth during the House Oversight Committee’s probe into the sky-high nursing home death toll. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chair James Comer, (R-KY), personally handed Cuomo’s case to Trump’s DOJ for prosecution.

Cuomo, the Democratic golden boy and current frontrunner in NYC’s mayoral primary, was first referred to the Biden DOJ for criminal charges back in October 2024. Former Rep. Brad Wenstrup, then head of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, didn’t mince words, accusing Cuomo of making “multiple criminally false statements” to Congress about the 2020 nursing home death scandal.

Rewind to March 2020. Cuomo, then governor, issued a directive that stopped nursing homes from turning away COVID-positive patients, all in the name of freeing up hospital beds. That move backfired big time—over 9,000 recovering COVID patients were sent to nursing homes, and many say it poured gas on the outbreak fire. The directive got scrapped after the damage was done.

Eight plaintiffs in a lawsuit claimed their loved ones caught COVID in nursing homes and died because of Cuomo’s call. They’re pointing fingers at him and his crew, saying they’re civilly liable for the deaths and for fudging the nursing home death count. A March 2022 New York state comptroller report backed that up, slamming Cuomo’s Health Department for being “not transparent in its reporting of COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes” and understating deaths by as much as 50% at times. Ouch.

Cuomo’s defense? He says he was just following CDC and CMS guidance at the time. Classic pass-the-buck move from a liar.

Fast forward to last month, Comer sent a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi, griping that the Biden crew ignored his earlier referral despite “clear facts and evidence.” He’s now begging Bondi to take a hard look and “take appropriate action.”

Comer didn’t hold back in a Monday statement, tearing into Cuomo: “Andrew Cuomo is a man with a history of corruption and deceit, now caught red-handed lying to Congress during the Select Subcommittee’s investigation into the COVID-19 nursing home tragedy in New York. This wasn’t a slip-up – it was a calculated cover-up by a man seeking to shield himself from responsibility for the devastating loss of life in New York’s nursing homes.

If you enjoy my blog, feel free to toss a virtual coffee my way on Buy Me a Coffee – it’s like a high-five with caffeine, and coffee keeps me focused. No pressure, it's your call.

Let’s be clear, lying to Congress is a federal crime. Andrew Cuomo must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The House Oversight Committee is prepared to fully cooperate with the Justice Department’s investigation into Andrew Cuomo’s actions and ensure he’s held to account.”

So, there you have it—a political cage match with Cuomo in the hot seat. Will he dodge this bullet, or is the DOJ about to land a knockout punch? Stay tuned, because this one’s gonna get messy.

An incompetent Democrat wants to replace an incompetent Democrat as NYC Mayor

Senior citizen Covid-19 killer, sexual harassment perpetrator, and disgraced Democrat Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo has been covertly checking out his chances of taking the current incompetent Democratic Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams' job.

Adams' approval rating is slightly lower than whale poop and his chances of reelection chances aren't very good so Cuomo wants to know what his chances are should Adams crash and burn. Even more, Adams' office is under investigation for having ties to the Turkish government, as reported in the New York Post.

Adams has not been accused of wrongdoing in the probe, and told the Post, “Let the process carry out . . . That is what’s great about our country. There is a due process system in place.”

So now that things in New York have cooled down since Cuomo resigned in 2021 and the #MeToo movement has become a joke,  the former governor hopes for a shot at running the same city where he sent thousands of elderly nursing home residents to their graves, and even wrote a self-congratulatory book about it, but with a different spin.

A person from the NY Post's "Page Six" saw Cuomo having dinner with Andrew Stein at Caravaggio on the Upper East Side. Stein, who once ran for the same position but failed, is a veteran New York City politician. The newspaper called Stein about the get together and told them, “I think Andrew would be a really good mayor. He’s experienced, and New York really needs someone like that right now.”

Yes, he could be instrumental at making room for arriving illegal aliens by getting disgusted New Yorkers to leave the city and head for a red state.

By the way, Cuomo has denied all of the sexual harassment allegations leveled against him. He also said that he supports the mayor, but his lips were moving.

Fredo flops again and his staff fears the worst

Fredo Cuomo doing a John Fetterman imitation

Former disgraced Compromised News Network anchor Chris "Fredo" Cuomo is not doing well of late because he sucks at journalism, veracity and intelligence. Fredo was canned from CNN after it was discovered that he was running cover for his even more disgraced brother, senior citizen killer with Covid and former Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo.

But Fredo is attracted to video cameras like flies are to something else, and not long after his firing from CNN, he began a new career, albeit a less lucrative and prestigious one at NewsNation.

Not unlike CNN, Fredo's new gig debuted to laughable ratings, drawing less viewers (147,000) than a rush hour bus in Delhi. Fox News' Sean Hannity on a normal day, draws over 2,000,000 viewers for his show.

The New York Post reports that while Cuomo is circling the proverbial toilet bowl, he may be in a position of taking down everyone around him too. Rather than his audience growing, his numbers have spiraled down to an average nightly viewership of a mere 119,000.

Even when Cuomo landed an interview with Ye, aka Kanye West, he only drew 129,000 viewers.

“Cuomo is getting nasty about the ratings and he’s starting to blame everyone but himself,” a source told the Post. “He’s blaming the network, staff that he personally hired, his lead-in, the promo department and even the press department!”

But at least he didn't blame Trump this time, however, Fredo's temper tantrums are infecting the morale and employees are preparing for layoffs.

“Chris has zero patience,” another source said. “This isn’t going to end well.”

For its part, NewsNation has denied this damning report from the Post but remember, they hired Cuomo so they're probably lying.

Chris F. Cuomo announces his comeback, sans Q-Tip

Chris Fredo Cuomo is making a comeback to the boob tube announcing on Tuesday that he would be getting an anchor role on NewsNation, formerly known as WGN America.

Fredo, as he likes to be called, made the announcement on NewsNation's host Dan Abrams, a former ABC News colleague of Cuomo's. The program will start in the fall and run in his old Comedy News Network time slot, the New York Post reports.

“I’m going to come to NewsNation and I want to build something special here,” he said, noting that his new employer would be … somewhat less prestigious than his old one as it will not be pumped into airports to insult the intelligence of people with functional cortexes.

“I had decided that I can’t go back to what people see as ‘the big game,'” Fredo said. “I don’t think I can make a difference there. I think we need insurgent media. I think we need outlets that aren’t fringe and just trying to fill their pockets.”
@ChrisCuomo is joining NewsNation: The cable news veteran believes he can provide viewers a break from America’s “binary” media when his new show launches this fall. More: https://t.co/TXSo1HxHWI pic.twitter.com/5M9fl1JVx
— NewsNation (@NewsNation) July 27, 2022
Cuomo will make a difference. He will do what he did at CNN, where his interactions with his disgraced brother, former New York Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo, and Don Lemon, a fake news festival of fun and chuckles.

Fredo got booted from CNN in December after a scandal broke about how he flushed any journalistic integrity he may have had remaining down the toilet. He did all he could to prop up his brother during the COVID pandemic in which the former governor sent thousands of elderly COVID positive patients to nursing homes where they infected the frail residents and led tot he death of thousands in the state.

And who can forget the giant Q-Tip prop Fredo used to poke brotherly fun at Andrew? They laughed it up while people were dying in droves? CNN allowed that garbage to go on for much too long, and it eventually took a boatload of scandals to bring them both down.

Dan Abrams, to his journalistic credit, confronted Fredo about the CNN termination--his claim that he “never made calls to the press” regarding a number of sexual harassment claims against Andrew. It was later proved that he did and lied about it  and Abrams said that Cuomo did contact the media about his brother’s situation.

“You said, ‘I never made calls to the press about my brother’s situation,'” Abrams revealed. “[But] you did make calls to the press about your brother’s situation.”

“But I think the distinction has a meaningful difference,” Fredo bull-shot back. “The concern would be not that I called you and said ‘What do you think’s going on here?’ It’s me calling you and saying ‘Hey tonight in your segment, I hope you remember that,'” he said.

CNN initially only suspended Cuomo over some texts he had regarding his brother's sexual harassment scandals, but they eventually fired him after he was accused of sexual misconduct by a "reliable source."

Cuomo is currently suing CNN for $125 million over breach of contract but if there is any justice in the world, he would lose.

But now he's no longer CNN's problem and frequent fliers will not have to tolerate his antics. It's a wonder NewsNation hired this charlatan in the first place.

NY Democratic Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin resigns after being arrested for campaign finance fraud

After his arrest, Democratic Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin decided to resign his position as it would be difficult to conduct business from the slammer or out in the exercise yard.

The resignation came just hours after he was indicted by federal prosecutors in Manhattan of five charges of corruption alleging Benjamin tried to trade a state grant for campaign money from a previous campaign for state Senate.

“I have accepted Brian Benjamin’s resignation effective immediately. While the legal process plays out, it is clear to both of us that he cannot continue to serve as Lieutenant Governor,” Gov. Kathy Hochul said.

“New Yorkers deserve absolute confidence in their government, and I will continue working every day to deliver for them,” she added, without realizing the irony of her statement.

Hochul, an unelected Democrat who replaced disgraced Democrat Andrew Cuomo [aka "Handy Andy"] spent the day dodging questions about her selection of Benjamin, the man who replaced her. Instead, she deflected by focusing on the shooting that took place Tuesday morning in Brooklyn.

Anyway, Benjamin's name will likely stay on the ballot because he would have needed to remove it in February and didn't get busted until this month.

Benjamin’s indictment and resignation should provide Hochul’s Democratic opponents a new opening in their bid to unseat her state’s June 28 primary, a contest the governor appeared to have largely sewn up after Attorney General Letitia James ended her campaign in December.

Perhaps James' self-serving attacks on scandal-ridden crap weasel Andrew Cuomo came back to bite her somewhere.

Rumor has it Chris Wallace is miffed about CNN+ and his future

Chris Wallace left Fox News to join CNN+ and it turned out to be a career move similar to an F22 fighter pilot joining a Kamikaze unit to end his career. Except in Wallace's case, he thought he was signing up with an elite F35 squadron. He went from first to worst with a streaming service that gets fewer views than a YouTube education channel teaching seashell painting in Portuguese.

Seriously, Wallace went from Fox, the number one cable news network, to CNN, the number one network in fake news, tied with MSNBC, and is lucky to get 10,000 viewers, if that much. Really.

People who watch Fox News are delighted he's gone. The guy is a flaming liberal whose politics became obvious when he hosted the 2020 presidential debates, in which he made Candy Crowley look unbiased when she hosted the Obama-Romney debacle and gave Barack the answer to a question with which he was having trouble.

Perhaps it was the Jeff Zucker charm that got Chris to abandon Fox's USS Constitution to board CNN's HMS Titanic, a ship that ended with a cold, pitiable gurgle. Then Zucker resigned in a scandal having to do with an affair with a colleague and ending in the Cuomo garbage heap, but Wallace wasn't expecting this, that's for sure.

But Wallace should have seen what he was getting into, at least to some degree better than he did. His contempt for Fox News was too much for him to continue to digest, and that made leaving a lot easier.

Now, according to a report, he’s throwing daily tantrums over how bad CNN+ sucks.

Reliable sources say Wallace is "having daily breakdowns," over the "miserable launch" of CNN+ and a reliable source says Chris wants a "CNN show or is threatening to walk," or in Wallace's case, to take a limo home.

Supposedly, Wallace is having staffers count how many times a day his promo is playing, and is pushing for Fredo Cuomo's time slot.

One can only imagine what the Lemon-Wallace handoff would look like if that dream of his comes true.

LEMON: I love you, Chris.

WALLACE: You must have me confused with another Chris.

AOC and other Dems opposed 2019 proposal to add MTA cops in NYC subways

On Tuesday morning during rush hour, a man donned a gas mask, threw smoke canisters on the floor of a crowded subway train and began shooting. In all, 29 people were injured, 10 with gunshot wounds, others by smoke inhalation and by the panic that ensued. The gunman is still at large but police believe they have a person of interest and are in pursuit of Frank R. James, a 5-foot-5-inch, 61 year-old heavyset black man.

At the subsequent news briefing, Democratic politicians showed up to voice their concern about the shooting, saying things like how unacceptable it is for such a terrible thing to happen. It's as if we didn't know that and are hearing these words for the first time.

But Democrats didn't always sing the same tune.

In 2019, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Socialist-NY) along with others in Congress from New York, loudly proclaimed their opposition to a proposal which would have added 500 additional Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) police officers in the city's subways.

AOC actually working

A letter was sent by lawmakers to disgraced then-Gov. Andrew "Handy Andy" Cuomo addressing the MTA's plan to hire the additional police. Rather than doing any such hiring, the Democrats said the money should be spent on "desperately needed resources" like "subway, bus, maintenance, and service improvements, as well as protecting riders and transit workers from assault rather than in the over-policing of our communities."

Democrats don't like the presence of police in the community because it reduces the opportunity for smash-and-grab equity by their constituents.

At the time, Democratic lawmakers who don't ride the subway to work said the plan was "not cost-effective" and cited statistics from the New York Police Department (NYPD) as they claimed "major felonies committed on the subway have decreased."

"The subway system is now safer than before," they wrote, while riding Ubers or limos to work. In addition, the legislators said it was "imperative to reconsider the use of operating funds to pay for additional officers and to find alternate streams of revenue to avert a larger budget crisis."

Noting a "significant uptick in assaults on bus and subway workers," the Democratic lawmakers told the disgraced governor that the plan would impact those living in poverty and reminded him "of the historic racial discrepancies in enforcement and the way communities of color, both MTA riders and workers, bear the brunt of over-policing."

Over-policing? They make this stuff up as they go along.

"Arresting hard-working people who cannot afford a $2.75 fare is, in effect, the criminalization of poverty," the lawmakers claimed in the letter. In other words, stop arresting people just because they broke the law--they can't afford to pay for things.

Meanwhile, after Tuesday's shooting, Alexandria Obviously-Comatose said that she was "devastated." She feared for her life in spite of her being in Washington, D.C. at the time. But she felt as if she heard the bullets wiz past her pretty head. "I felt as if the bullets wizzed past my pretty Latina head," she said.

"We’re devastated to see what happened in Brooklyn today," she wrote in a tweet. "Thinking of and praying for those injured and their loved ones."

Who dresses this guy?

Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) who had also signed the 2019 letter said that he was "horrified" and that his diet still isn't working and blames it all on his thyroid. Here is his tweet.

"I am horrified by the attack in Brooklyn," he wrote. "I am closely monitoring the situation and am in communication with the FBI. My thoughts are with the victims and first responders."

Other New York Democrats who signed the letter beside AOC and Nadler were: former Rep. JosƩ Serrano, and NY state Senators Michael Gianaris, Luis Sepulveda, Jessica Ramos, Julia Salazar, and Alessandra Biaggi.

I'm sure they're also "devastated" and "horrified" by the shooting, but at least the New York subway system isn't "over-policed."

Handy Andy Cuomo launches ad to attempt a political comeback

Andrew Cuomo: still not accepting blame

Former disgraced governor of New York and murderer of the elderly Andrew Cuomo is trying to make a comeback on the political scene because he has no other skills. He tried comedy on the Comedy News Network with his younger brother, Fredo, but that didn't work out. He tried to be a gigolo, but that only got him and Fredo in trouble, so he's going back to politics. where any idiot can thrive and even become president of the United States.

On Monday, Andy officially threw his giant Q-Tip in the ring and ran a TV ad, “Politics vs. The Law” claiming that he was the victim, not the women he allegedly victimized with his groping and clumsy come-ons and it was all a political hit-job on him. So why did he resign in disgrace?

The ad consists of snippets from TV reports that highlight recent decisions by five district attorneys to not bring criminal charges against Cuomo for sexual harassment. It does not mention why these district attorneys did not want to go forward, but let's not forget, Fredo lifts weights and likes to think of himself as a tough guy who loves his big brother. People going after Andy might have an accident or some other catastrophic misfortune.

“Political attacks won. And New Yorkers lost a proven leader,” the narrator lies, as a picture of the Democrat who was responsible for sending elderly Covid patients into nursing homes which killed over 5,000 residents, appears signing papers.

Not surprisingly, the ad forgets to mention that the prosecutors said they believed the women’s claims were credible, while concluding that they could not prove charges beyond a reasonable doubt based on current law.

And Fredo knew where the attorneys general lived.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s “Politics vs. The Law” ad takes aim at state Attorney General Letitia James’ investigation.Andrew Cuomo for New York. It's understandable that he would take aim at her because she clearly had hopes to get the chance to run for Andy's old job and getting rid of him would clear the deck.

Despite him getting out of criminal prosecution, the ad does not dispute that he violated the civil sexual harassment policy he championed and put in place. Nor does it claim that he is not a scumbag who used his position of power over the 11 women to attempt having sex with them, one of whom is a state trooper.

“Accusations fly around the world at the speed of light, but the truth crawls at a snail’s pace,” said Cuomo spokesman Rich Azzopardi, who apparently paraphrased a quote from London preacher Charles Haddon Spurgeon in 1855 who said:
"If you want truth to go round the world you must hire an express train to pull it; but if you want a lie to go round the world, it will fly; it is as light as a feather, and a breath will carry it. It is well said in the old Proverb, ‘A lie will go round the world while truth is pulling its boots on.’"
“We will continue to communicate the facts to New Yorkers: The AG knowingly and willfully ignored evidence of perjury, witness tampering and extortion, and hid exculpatory evidence when she misled the public in her sham report last August,” Azzopari said.

So Cuomo, who never admitted any responsibility for the thousands of covid death in nursing homes, also didn't admit culpability in the sexual harassment allegations.

The Cuomo campaign account is paying for the “significant” ad buy appearing on broadcast and cable TV and digital platforms.

If he wins whatever position he might run for, his constituents will get what they deserve, good and hard.

Fredo accused of sexual assault in damning report about CNN

"Hey, wanna go out?"

Chris Cuomo [aka Fredo], formerly of the Coitus Craving Network (CNN) is the subject of a bombshell report by none other than the former newspaper known as The New York Times. New details have risen to the surface like bubbles in Brian Stelter's bathtub after a big meal about what led up to Cuomo's firing.

Fredo was first suspended by CNN after the New York Attorney General's report came out exposing his involvement in covering up for his brother, the disgraced ex-Democratic New York Gov Andrew Cuomo [aka Handy Andy] over his own sexual harassment scandal.

[H/T Fox News]

But the bigger story that ultimately culminated in Fredo's termination came when CNN learned of another sexual misconduct allegation made by a former junior colleague of Fredo's when they worked at ABC News.

The Times painted a stark picture of the turmoil that took place at ABC News, including the contents of the letter sent to CNN by Debra Katz, a high profile attorney, detailing the accusation.

So like his brother, Fredo couldn't keep it in his pants, or at least tried to release the little beast with a subordinate.

Regarding the letter, "[I]t relayed a story that had begun in 2011 when the woman, who was referred to as Jane Doe, was a young temporary ABC employee hoping for a full-time job. One day, after Mr. [Fredo] Cuomo, an anchor, had offered her career advice, he invited her to lunch in his office, according to the letter, interviews with the woman and emails between her and Mr. Cuomo," the Times reported. "When she arrived, there was no food. Instead, Mr. Cuomo badgered her for sex, and after she declined, he assaulted her, she said. She ran out of the room."

According to the report, the woman [who obviously put career over morals] attempted to "smooth things over" with friendly emails to Cuomo  hoping to land a full-time job at ABC and said that she had told "five friends and former colleagues" about "unwelcome sexual requests" from Cuomo but refrained from sharing the assault claim until the past year.

Katz's letter revealed that Fredo contacted the woman "seemingly out of the blue" "at the height of the #MeToo uprising" following the exposures and downfalls of media icons like Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer.  And according to the Times, Cuomo "proposed arranging a CNN segment about the company where she worked doing public relations. The woman tried to avoid any contact with Mr. Cuomo, but CNN ultimately broadcast a segment anyway."

"After years without any substantive communication from Mr. Cuomo whatsoever, Ms. Doe suspected he was concerned about her coming forward publicly with her allegations and wanted to use the proposed segment as an opportunity to ‘test the waters’ and discourage her from going on the record about his sexual misconduct," Katz wrote in the letter, adding that her client did not want to become "a pawn in an internecine war between Zucker, Chris Cuomo and CNN."

A representative for Fredo said the claims "are false. He was never asked about the allegations prior to being terminated or given an opportunity to respond."

Fredo was previously accused of butt-grabbing by TV producer Shelley Ross. She alleged that Fredo grabbed her buttock at an event in 2005 when they both worked for ABC. Ross even produced the email he had sent to her apologizing for the butt-grabbing in the guest essay she wrote in the New York Times last year.

The so-called newspaper also detailed the tight relationship Fredo had with former CNN president, Jeff Zucker. He claims that he was forced to resign over a normal, consensual relationship with an unmarried woman, which makes as much sense as Joe Biden without a Teleprompter.

"Mr. Zucker told Mr. Cuomo that CNN was suspending him because of his unethical interactions with his brother, New York’s governor. Mr. Cuomo was shocked and offered to resign. Mr. Zucker countered that the anchor might be able to return at some point, according to people with knowledge of the conversation," the Times reported. "Mr. Cuomo felt reassured. He and Mr. Zucker were confidants, their fortunes entwined. Mr. Cuomo didn’t bother to consult a lawyer." [And that's why he's called Fredo.]

Times reported that Zucker felt Cuomo "had misled him" about his conduct with Gov. Cuomo, writing that the CNN president "was losing patience and "initially planned to fire Mr. Cuomo, before deciding to hold off," that was before the sexual assault allegation emerged.

Imagine how Cuomo's wife feels about all this garbage.

Irony Alert: Handy Andy Cuomo filing professional misconduct complaint against NY AG Letitia James

Former disgraced senior-killer Democratic Governor of New York and older brother of the Andy and Fredo Comedy Team, Andrew Cuomo, plans to file a complaint about, wait for it . . . a professional misconduct complaint against New York Attorney General Letitia James, another likely hopeful for the governorship of the Empire State.

James you may recall, has made it very clear that she wants to find legal dirt on President Trump, which actually lends credence to Cuomo's claim, but it's doubtful that this would come up in court.

The disgraced ex-governor's attorney, Rita Glavin, accused AG James's office of "selectively" redacting information in the bombshell sexual harassment report that led to Cuomo's resignation last year from office. She is also accused of including "materially misleading information" in the report, and "slow rolling" the release of the underlying interview depositions after announcing its findings.

Glavin said James' office has not taken Cuomo's criticisms of the report seriously. At least it seems so on the surface.

"What she [James] has done and all she has done is she has publicly dismissed our complaints," Glavin said.

Maybe Trump needs to also jump on the anti-James bandwagon, but then he would be perceived as uniting with a scumcrumpet Cuomo.

"(Cuomo) feels strongly that there was misconduct here, that the attorney general misused her office," Glavin said Thursday when she announced the complaint. She will be filing the grievance to an Attorney Grievance Committee. Glavin said it's not yet clear if Cuomo will only file the complaint against James, or if he will also name investigators who worked on the report. She did not commit to making the complaint public.

Well, that's politics for you--we have James who may have done a smear job on Cuomo just to gain personal political power for herself. And maybe she went after Trump [thus far unsuccessfully] to earn brownie points with the Democratic Party. In any case, you can clearly see all the agendas at play.

The big question is whether Andrew Cuomo has another political agenda, and whatever happened to that Q-Tip wielded by Fredo?

New York Supreme Court strikes down state's mask mandate by unelected Gov.

"You will obey, my pretties"

A New York state Supreme Court judge struck down Governor Kathy Hochul's (D) mask mandate for public schools and public locations.

Hochul replaced former Governor Andrew (aka Handy Andy) Cuomo as governor after he resigned in shame due to several sexual harassment allegations and his role in the murder of thousands of New Yorkers with COVID who were sent into nursing homes where they spread the deadly virus to the vulnerable.

The point is, Hochul was not elected as governor but she is certainly going forward with unpopular policy attempts that are being shot down due to their incompatibility with law and human rights.

“There can be no question that every person in this State wishes, wants and prays that this era of COVID ends soon and they will surely do their part to see that is accomplished,” Judge Thomas Rademaker said in his ruling. “However, enacting any laws to this end is entrusted solely to the State Legislature. While the intentions of Commissioner Bassett and Governor Hochul appear to be well aimed squarely at doing what they believe is right to protect the citizens of New York State, they must take their case to the State Legislature.”

CNN loses so many viewers, they lose some who don't even watch it in the first place

The Children's Neverland Network (CNN) has lost so many viewers that people who never watch it are watching it even less. "Reliable Sources" needs to change its title to "Unreliable Anonymous Sources," and their slogan: The Most Trusted Name in News™ needs to be changed to: "The Most Busted Duded in News."

CNN's rating are lower than whale poop and nothing seems to be changing. On the other side of the coin however, Fox News Channel (FNC) was the most-watched cable network in the 24-hour daypart in the final quarter of 2021, averaging 2.37 million viewers in primetime, while CNN came in with a mere 642,000, [about the equivalent of travelers on the rooftops of trains going from Chennai to New Delhi].

Once their number one nemesis, Donald Trump, was no longer in office after being kicked off social media, the only stories you heard wasn't so much by CNN, as they were about the network.

You had the silly Lemon to Fredo handoffs each night that sounded like they originated in a special woodworking class in junior high school.

Then there was the disgraced Chris Cuomo situation where he worked behind the scenes, using his influence to help his disgraced brother, Handy Andy Cuomo, in trying to overcome his sex scandal and Covid incompetence, while concurrently having scandals of his own.

Then there's Don Lemon with his own sex scandal of allegedly putting his hands down the pants of another man in a bar and grabbing his junk. Most recently Lemon appeared on CNN's New Year's Eve Drunkfest where he bragged about being a grown "ass man,"

Do we really care about Lemon's sexual preferences? Or Jeffrey Toobin's Zoom masturbation scene?

And let's not forget about Jake Tapper's producer, Rick Saleeby who is under criminal investigation for his involvement with children, and former producer John Griffin with his criminal charges and how he allegedly paid a mother to sell him her little girl in order to "groom" her sexually.

Once CNN didn't have Trump to "journalism" about round the clock, their ratings circled the bowl, and averaged 585,000 primetime views which put them into 17th place, probably behind Gilligan's Island and Matlock reruns.

TVNewser reported:
FNC averaged 1.44 million total viewers across the 24-hour day time period (total day), up six percent over third-quarter 2020. […] Fox News also averaged 2.37 million total viewers in primetime, No. 2 on basic cable (behind ESPN, which averaged 2.63 million). Fox’s 2.37 million average is less than -1% from Q3 ’21 and -37% from Q4 of ’20, which was a highly-rated quarter featuring a presidential election.

Meanwhile, CNN continued to tank, averaging just 492,000 total viewers across the 24-hour day time (total day) in the fourth quarter. As noted by TVNewser, the 492,000 was down 18 percent from third-quarter 2021, 67 percent down from fourth-quarter 2020, and an astonishing minus-73 percent compared to fourth-quarter 2020.
Meanwhile goofballs like Lemon and Brian Stelter still go after Fox News and look pathetic in their attempts to discredit the network and their viewers.

Obviously, CNN doesn't give a fiddler's fart if they're in a top-rated viewing slot. They're more interested in being with their colleague losers of the Left than appealing to a broader public as Fox News Channel obviously does.

And while FNC is center right, you can tell they're a lot more balanced than CNN (and the other leftist networks) when they have people like Geraldo Rivera, Jessica Tarlov, Leslie Marshall, and Harold Ford Jr. as voices from the other side.

Also, they don't hide their opinion contributors from their journalists. You can easily tell the difference between Tucker Carlson or Sean Hannity from Bret Baier or Shannon Bream. You can't say the same about Don Lemon, Brian Stelter, or any of the others whose names I don't know because I don't watch that crap.
