LA Mayor walks back paying wildfire czar $500K for 90 days for recovery ideas regarding LA wildfires

Imagine getting paid $5,556 per day for 90 days to consult on how to recover from the wildfires that plagued Los Angeles since last month. Half a million dollars for 90 days of work.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Steve Soboroff, would be paid the money over the course of three months working as LA's "chief recovery officer." After all, Steve is a real estate developer and civic official and does not in any way stand to monetarily benefit over rebuilding efforts of the city, beyond the paychecks he would have received advising on the plans. And if you believe that, you might also believe that one day the skies will be darkened with the flight of chickens heading north.

Soboroff's money was supposed to come from charity organizations [perhaps like USAID], but Democrat LA Mayor Karen Bass who initially chose him for the job on January 17, walked it all back by Saturday night, saying that Soboroff would now do the work for free. Now that gives credence to the notion that he still has something to gain--remember, he's a real estate developer. I don't know, of course, if it's true, but would you honestly be surprised if he stood to gain something 'under the proverbial table'?

"Steve is always there for LA. I spoke to him today and asked him to modify his agreement and work for free. He said yes," Bass said, according to the Times. "We agree that we don’t need anything distracting from the recovery work we’re doing."

Another real estate executive, Randy Johnson, was supposed to be paid $250,000 from charity groups but even he is willing to do the work for free, Bass said.

Real estate executive, eh?

Regarding Johnson, Bass said she was "grateful for his generosity and expertise," but the mayor's office declined to name the charity organizations or clarify how the funding was raised, according to the Times.

Los Angeles City Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, a member of the five-person committee tasked with recovery, told the LA Times it was "infuriating" that philanthropic groups would pay two people $750,000, calling the amount "obscene."

"He’s getting paid $500,000 for 3 months of work?" President Donald Trump's envoy for special missions, Ric Grenell, posted on X about Soboroff. "And they call this a charity. Gross. Offensive."

Grenell, who was seated next to Trump during a round table discussion in the Pacific Palisades last month, added: "I’m getting paid $0 – as are many people. It’s a good thing there will be strings on the Federal money for California."

Steve Danton, who resides in a temporary apartment in Marina del Rey after his home was destroyed in the Palisades Fire, said Soboroff’s compensation is a "money grab," adding that the city is experiencing a "crisis of leadership."

Larry Vein, a Pacific Palisades resident whose home suffered smoke damage, condemned Soboroff's reported $500,000 compensation, saying no one should handle recovery efforts for "financial gain."

LA's DEI Fire Department says 'there's nothing they can do' to prevent or put out fires

Los Angeles mayoral candidate Rick Caruso blasted current Democrat Mayor Karen Bass and her "absolute mismanagement by the city," which led to the fire hydrants running dry and fires running rampant.

But at least the LA Fire Department is woke and has made great use of D.E.I. so that transgender 'women' are experts since birth, at using a hose.

The Los Angeles Times reported in the early hours of Wednesday morning that firefighters battling the blaze in Pacific Palisades had begun to report over radios that fire hydrants were losing pressure, going flaccid, and running out of water entirely.

“The hydrants are down,” and, “Water supply just dropped,” they said, according to the outlet.

The Department of Water and Power provided a statement to the Times acknowledging the hydrants were running out of water but did not give any indication as to how widespread the issue was.

“This area is served by water tanks and close coordination is underway to continue supplying the area,” the statement said.

Too bad they can't come up with a way to use the Pacific Ocean as a temporary water supply--it's just down the street.

Caruso commented on the still-unfolding clusterfrack: “There’s no water in the fire hydrants. The firefighters are there [in the neighborhood], and there’s nothing they can do — we’ve got neighborhoods burning, homes burning, and businesses burning. … It should never happen.”

Caruso called a local news station and revealed that his daughter’s home was among the 1000 structures that had burned thus far — and said that if the city [not to mention the state] was better managed, the situation could have been much less disastrous.

“My heart goes out obviously to the people with their homes, and I’m watching the small businesses around us go up in flames, you know this is people’s livelihoods,” Caruso said. “So it’s devastating. but what is most concerning to me is our first responders and our firefighters who are trying to battle this, there’s no water in the Palisades.”

What does it mean when one's heart goes out?

Caruso, a developer, went on to target the mismanagement of resources, saying that reservoirs had not been refilled and noting the fact that Mayor Bass is out of the country, traveling in Ghana on the taxpayers' dime.

“There’s no water coming out of the fire hydrants. This is an absolute mismanagement by the city,” he added. “It’s not the firefighters’ fault, but it’s by the city. And I’ve got to be very honest, we’ve got a mayor that’s out of the country, and we’ve got a city that’s burning, and there’s no resources to put out fires.”

“So if you look at your pictures, you don’t see the firefighters there because there’s nothing they can do,” he claimed. “It looks like we’re in a third-world country here.”

But we all know that if Trump had already been sworn in as President, he would be the target of blame.

Harris wasn't Biden's first choice for border czar: she was his 2nd choice

"Hi, I'm Kamala Harris and I'm useless, hahahahaha"

Vice President Kamala "Speaks Through Three Holes" Harris, while campaigning to become the first female [whatever that is] not exactly Black President of the United States, is disavowing her role as border czar bestowed on her by our so called President Joseph Biden.

The media has gone berserk over this label because they know that she was an absolute useless border czar and the claims made by these meatballs are verifiably false as MRC shows in a melange of media reporting over time.

PolitiFact wrote, "Claims that President Joe Biden named Harris the ‘border czar’ and that she is responsible for overseeing U.S. border enforcement gained prominence at the Republican National Convention as the party sought to link her to his immigration policy. Biden didn’t put Harris in charge of overseeing border security.”

Really?

Axios wrote, “The Trump campaign and Republicans have tagged Harris repeatedly with the ‘border czar’ title – which she never actually had.”

“Kamala Harris Was Never Biden’s ‘Border Czar,’” TIME Magazine claimed

A USA Today "fact check" headline said, "Harris' border work was on 'root causes' of migration; she wasn't in charge." Axios wrote, “The Trump campaign and Republicans have tagged Harris repeatedly with the ‘border czar’ title – which she never actually had.”

Although Harris was not officially given the title "border czar"--because it's too Russian-sounding--many lefty Russophiles in the media used that label to describe Harris' assigned border role. Biden tasked her specifically with addressing the root causes of migration from Central America and working with the countries in the region, emphasizing diplomatic efforts to manage and reduce the flow of migrants heading to the U.S.-Mexico border.

Her mandate was broader than just border enforcement; it was about tackling systemic issues in those countries to create lasting solutions, which she failed at miserably.

Harris was not Biden's first border czar; she was the second woman chosen as border czar by the alleged president.

After only 100 days as border czar, Roberta Jacobson, President Joe Biden’s first border czar, left the role on April 9, 2021, after already “grappling with large increases of migrants attempting to cross into the U.S.,” Even The Los Angeles Times reported, saying, “Biden’s border czar … is stepping down.”

Yes, even the comrades at the LA Times referred to the position as border czar.

However, before Jacobson stepped down, Biden announced at a March 24, 2021 news conference that Kamala Hahaharris would be responsible for addressing the southwest border surge that already began within days of him taking office. “I can think of nobody who's better qualified to do this than the former” California attorney general, Biden mumbled.

Harris was chosen to lead the effort as border czar because “the best thing to do is to put someone [in the role] when he or she speaks they don't have to wonder about where the president is,” Biden read carefully. “When she speaks, she speaks for me. She doesn’t have to check with me. She knows what she's doing. I hope we can move this along [to address the] increasing challenges at our southwest border. No one knows this better than the vice president.”

In that inimitable way she has, Harris said both through her mouth and nostrils,  “There's no question that this is a challenging situation. While we are clear that people should not come to the border now, we also understand that we will enforce the law. Because we can chew gum and walk at the same time, we must address the root causes that cause people to make the trek.” She also looked forward to working with Congress “to address root causes of migration. Needless to say, the work will not be easy, but it is important work.”

Just a normal Tuesday at the border: thanks Kamala

It was so challenging that she couldn't find her way to the porous border if the fairies dropped breadcrumbs along the way.

Multiple news outlets gleefully reported on the announcement, including The Washington Post, The Hill, the Associated Press, Axios, Politico, Reuters, The Huffington Post,  NBC News and even Fox News, to name the biggies.

The social media site X fact checked Axios' recent claim using one of its own articles, stating, “On April 14, 2021, Axios' Shawna Chen confirmed Kamala Harris had been appointed Biden's ‘Border Czar.’

If that isn't clear enough, Chen wrote: "Harris, appointed by Biden as border czar, said she would be looking at the ‘root causes’ that drive migration."

Since Harris was tapped as border czar, The Center Square has published 69 news stories covering the border crisis as it relates to the border czar. House Republicans this week filed two articles of impeachment against Harris, one over her role in addressing the border crisis. The other article against her might be her level of confused verbiage--she may not be demented like someone we know, but her word salads should come with a dressing.

But seriously, Harris has not event made an attempt to do her assigned job.

Biden’s March 24, 2021, announcement was made after members of Congress toured a federal detention facility in Carrizo Springs, Texas, where 700 unaccompanied minors were being held. U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, (D-Laredo), posted images of them sleeping on concrete floors in response to media outlets being denied access by the Biden administration. The left tried to blame this situation on Trump, but it's hard to argue with visual proof.

Earlier that month, Cuellar warned, “We are weeks, maybe even days, away from a crisis on the southern border. Inaction is simply not an option. Our country is currently unprepared to handle a surge in migrants.”

Harris was not only unprepared to handle a surge, it was apparent that she welcomed it, as did alleged President Joseph Biden. The border was a sieve of illegal aliens flooding into the country where now the left wants to give these non-citizens not only taxpayer benefits, but the right to vote in US elections!

Harris never visited the facility or Cuellar’s district. Since then, more than 12 million foreign nationals have illegally entered the country under Harris the Border Czar. She only visited a port of entry in El Paso on June 25, 2021, which is 800 miles away from the real crisis in the Rio Grande Valley.

On March 31, 2021, Abbott sent his first letter to Harris, stating, "Now that President Biden has named you Border Czar in charge of the administration’s response, I want to express to you the threats and challenges caused by this administration’s open border policies. These policies embolden and enrich cartels, smugglers, and human traffickers who continue to ramp up their criminal operations. Given your new role as the administration’s Border Czar, I urge you to visit the border to see the crisis for yourself, and … to take swift action to secure the border, crack down on human trafficking, and prevent more children from being trafficked and abused."

As calls grew for Harris to visit the border and respond to the crisis, by an April 20, 2022, press briefing White House press secretary Jen Psaki was asked, “Does the president still have confidence” in Harris as border czar. She replied by confirming Harris' role as border czar, “He absolutely does.”

Abbott maintains, "‘Border Czar’ Harris has NOT done her job to secure the border. Innocent Americans have lost their lives, law enforcement has been assaulted, and fentanyl has killed thousands.” He’s also called on Americans to vote for Trump to secure the border.

I say vote for Trump to secure peace and prosperity for the country. Harris will not bring us peace--she will bring us far-left policies and show the world her weakness.

Staff a LA Times being dramatically cut: now they'll have to take their own advice

The woke go broke is a true prediction and the LA Times is no exception. There downfall has been going on for quite some time and so too has the Washington Post.

As with any company, if you're not making money you're not long for this world. And the way for the news media to make money is to appeal to the general public, and not simply the small percentage of woke folk who apparently never nursed properly or have serious problems with reality.

The LA Times has customer numbers in the proverbial dumpster and had to lay off 115 employees on Tuesday. They made the announcement that they were laying off about 20 percent of the newsroom of the 142-year-old tabloid.

This comes amid projections that the newspaper, if you can still call it that, will face yet another year of heavy losses to the tune of around $35 million a year and zero readership growth, according to the paper’s owner, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong.

So Dr. Soon-Shiong will possibly be Soon Gone as advertisers don't want to waste money on a no win situation for themselves.

But let's take a walk down Memory Lane and remember how the woke targeted non-college educated folks, particularly the miners whose jobs were lost due to woke policies starting with Obama whose plan was to destroy the coal industry altogether.

The left suggested the coal miners "learn to code," and anyone who loses their job because they didn't go to college should do the same.

I hope the staff takes their own advice now that they are in the same position.

And you know what--I don't have any tears to shed for them.

Calif. attorney mysteriously killed on 1st wedding anniversary in Mexico

Elliot Blair, 33, a California assistant public defender in Orange County, has been killed at a popular Mexico resort on a trip with his wife and fellow public defender. They were there to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

Blair died Saturday in Rosarito Beach near Mexico's northern border, county Public Defender Martin Schwarz told the Orange County Register.

Police have not released details and local media — including the Spanish-language Noticias BC — reported that Blair died as a result of an accidental fall from a room at the Las Rocas Resort and Spa, the LA Times reported.

However, a GoFundMe campaign claims Blair “was the victim of a brutal crime. His family is working with US Officials to gain more information.” But we must ask ourselves, how can that be possible in such a safe and lovely country as is Mexico?

The fundraiser, organized by Annie Rodriguez, said Elliot and his wife, Kim, “have been dedicated Public Defenders in Orange County” since 2017, the year he passed the bar exam.

One thing seems certain, Blair died of mysterious circumstances in a country where mysterious circumstances are as common a chewing gum.

“Elliot was a compassionate lawyer who dedicated his life to serving indigent clients. Elliot was known as a patient and caring advocate. He was the best of us and was loved by countless members of our office and the Orange County legal community. We are heartbroken,” the GoFundMe page said.

The Orange County Register said an attorney for Blair’s family did not return a request for comment Sunday and that Mexican authorities could not be reached, for some reason.

US Rep. Lou Correa (D-CA), who represents Santa Ana, where Blair worked in the Public Defender’s Office, told the newspaper that his office was trying to find out what happened.

Police in Rosarito told the news outlet Patrulla 646 Código Rojo that hotel workers called authorities about 1:15 a.m. after finding Blair’s body, the Register reported.

The local outlet said investigators claimed to have found evidence that Blair was under the influence of alcohol at the time of his death. Well hell yeah--it was their wedding anniversary vacation.

Democrat officials in LA made racist remarks: "F**k that guy, he's with the blacks"

Leaked audio anonymously posted on Reddit implicated three Los Angeles City all Democratic Council members and a high ranking labor official to a racist conversation in October of last year in which the individuals can be heard using offensive and racist rhetoric.

Those involved included Council President Nury Martinez and fellow Council. members Gil Cedillo and Kevin de León along with LA County Federation of Labor President Ron Herrera. The purpose of the meeting was focused on redistricting the city, which happens once a decade.

In the conversation, Ms. Martinez remarked about Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón after his name was mentioned.

“F**k that guy,” the lovely and talented Latina said. “He’s with the blacks.”

In another part of the audio, which can be heard on various social media platforms and in a report by The Los Angeles Times, Ms. Martinez spoke about Council member Mike Bonin, a white man, and his adopted black son. She called the son "Parece changuito," or "He's like a little monkey." She was no less kind to Bonin who she referred to as a "little bitch" and said that he's raising his son like a "little white kid."

The LA Times reported that Council member de León referred to Bonin as the council's "fourth black member."

“Mike Bonin won’t f***ing ever say peep about Latinos,” de León said. “He’ll never say a f***ing word about us.”

Martinez released an apology statement but the public didn't think it was enough.

“In a moment of intense frustration and anger, I let the situation get the best of me, and I hold myself accountable for these comments,” Martinez said. “For that, I am sorry.”

“The context of this conversation was concern over the redistricting process and concern about the potential negative impact it might have on communities of color,” she added. “My work speaks for itself. I’ve worked hard to lead this city through its most difficult time.”

De León released a statement following the report, according to KTLA.

“There were comments made in the context of this meeting that are wholly inappropriate; and I regret appearing to condone and even contribute to certain insensitive comments made about a colleague and his family in private,” de León said. “I’ve reached out to that colleague personally. On that day, I fell short of the expectations we set for our leaders — and I will hold myself to a higher standard.”

Cedillo did a 'Hogan's Heroes' Sergeant Schultz and told The Los Angeles Times that he does not “have a recollection of this conversation.” ["I saw nothing; I know nothing."]

A lawyer representing the L.A. County Federation of Labor sent a letter to The Los Angeles Times condemning the publication for highlighting the transcripts while accusing it of “condoning illegal conduct.” In other words, when a left wing paper like the LA Times does the decent thing, the Left attacks it.

To his credit, Jeffrey Glasser, general counsel of The Los Angeles Times, defended the newspaper’s right to publish the material in a response letter to the lawyer.

“It is a fundamental principle in the United States that we do not prohibit or punish the receipt and publication of newsworthy information,” Glasser said.

Bonin, who is a gay fellow Democrat and married to another man said that the incident was appalling.

“We love our son, a beautiful, joyful child, and our family is hurting today,” Bonin’s statement reads.”No child should ever be subjected to such racist, mean and dehumanizing comments, especially from a public official.”

“It hurts that one of our son’s earliest encounters with overt racism comes from some of the most powerful public officials in Los Angeles,” he added and called on the trio to resign from the City Council.

Well, as it turns out, LA City Council President Nury Martinez did resign from her leadership role Monday for her racist remarks.

Do not believe for a second that Democrats are not the racists they claim Republicans to be; especially white male Republicans. When you consider how they sanctify the killing of babies, especially babies of color, in the womb, while some even go further than that, and how they keep pushing the welfare system on black folks and other people of color, you will see who the real racists are. This incident merely removed their masks temporarily.

So Martinez said in a statement Monday that, effective immediately, "I am resigning as President of the Los Angeles City Council." The move likely means she still retains her seat as a council member and her inability to feel truly ashamed.

"I take responsibility for what I said and there are no excuses for those comments. I am so sorry," Martinez said in a follow-up apology statement on Monday, but obviously not understanding what 'taking responsibility' actually means.

"I sincerely apologize to the people I hurt with my words: to my colleagues, their families, especially to Mike, Sean and your son. As a mother, I know better and I am sorry. I am truly ashamed. I know this is the result of my own actions. I am sorry to your entire family for putting you through this."

She obviously doesn't know better and being a mother has nothing to do with her racism. She said that she is ashamed, but still remains on the Council. Her latest words do not comport with those she spoke behind the backs of those she disgustingly attacked.

"As someone who believes deeply in the empowerment of communities of color, [oh, really?] I recognized my comments undercut that goal. Going forward, reconciliation will be my priority. I have already reached out to many of my Black colleagues and other Black leaders to express regret in order for us to heal," she said as a ploy to rescue her political career. "I ask for forgiveness from my colleagues and from the residents of this city that I love so much. In the end, it is not my apologies that matter most; it will be that actions I take from this day forward. I hope that you will give me the opportunity to make amends."

To Martinez's credit, at least she didn't use the "N word."

LGBTQ+1etc Hollywood star is main grooming suspect:cops can't find him

X-Y Chromosomes and all

Ezra Miller is nowhere to be found and authorities are looking for him. The actor is accused of "grooming" a Native American woman and is now barred from all contact with her, according to the woman's parents.

A document from Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Court in North Dakota signed on Tuesday ordered that Miller “shall have no contact and shall not harass Tokata Iron Eyes, Sara Jumping Eagle and Chase Iron Eyes,” as reported by Fox News, a former conservative news outlet gone woke of late.

Miller acted in the "Fantastic Beasts" film series and played Flash in the 2017 "Justice League" film. Now law enforcement is hoping to get justice for the young woman he allegedly groomed since she was a child.

In court documents, Chase Iron Eyes and his wife, Sara Jumping Eagle, accused Miller, [whose Native American name is "Monkey Throwing Dung"] of using “cult-like and psychologically manipulative, controlling behavior” to mislead their daughter, Tokata Iron Eyes.

The parents accuse Miller of “grooming” their daughter from the time she was 12, when he met her while protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline on the Standing Rock reservation in North Dakota, according to the Post.

Tokata is now eighteen years old.

As the media entertainment site MEAW has reported, Miller claims he is a non-binary transgendered individual, which the parents say is how their daughter now describes herself. The term defines a non-binary person as one who doesn't identify exclusively as a man or a woman--in other words, a gender confused individual who can think of themself as both a man and a woman and somewhere in-between, whatever that means. The term can also be used, according to The Human Rights Campaign Glossary of Terms, to identify as agender, bigender, genderqueer, or gender-fluid.

She previously described herself as “non-binary, queer, gay,” according to the Los Angeles Times, which indicates a level of confusion this poor young woman has undergone simply to fit into the woke society of people with unnatural hair color and body piercings.

Sara Jumping Eagle tweeted about the situation because that's what everyone does:
My family is living a nightmare. #EzraMiller has brainwashed my daughter Tokata Iron Eyes, physically assaulted her, is perpetuating cult-like behaviors and emotional abuse. Ezra’s dangerous behaviors are escalating with no accountability from #WarnerBros #MMIW pic.twitter.com/FlKuzUNbNy

— Sara Jumping Eagle (@drjumpingeagle) June 8, 2022
Miller and Tokata were recently reported traveling in California with several other young women, whatever that is, according to Jumping Eagle as reported by the New York Post.

“He’s not letting Tokata or the other girls bathe or wear makeup,” Jumping Eagle, a pediatrician on the Pine Ridge reservation, told the Post. “They have to ask his permission. It’s an R. Kelly type situation and it’s very scary.”

Chase Iron Eyes, an attorney and activist, said he and the court “have no idea of knowing where Tokata and Ezra are to gain help from other jurisdictions” to serve Miller with the order, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Sara Jumping Eagle later tweeted:
#EzraMiller is spiritual voyeur dabbling in various indigenous peoples’ spiritual beliefs, combining w voodoo; using these beliefs vs Tokata Iron Eyes mind, luring more people in cult-like manner. #gaslighting #predator #WarnerBros #warnerbrothers

— Sara Jumping Eagle (@drjumpingeagle) June 8, 2022
“They move around so much [that] we’re stuck in this legal limbo situation, and we can’t serve them in any place they’re in long enough,” Chase Iron Eyes said.

“They’ve been flighty. They’ve been avoiding service, and now there’s public pressure mounting on them to make a decision, which makes us very concerned about Ezra’s volatile nature. … We’re working very hard to get this order enforced wherever they are,” he said.

He plans to send out scouts.

Maxine Waters pisses off homeless after telling them to go home

Even racists and dummies in Congress can get rich off the taxpayer's dime, and when you combine the two, you get Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA). The idiot recently told California homeless people seeking housing to literally "go home."

The Los Angeles Times reported on an event from last Friday put on by a not-for-profit agency to assist the homeless to find emergency housing. Like many Democratic inspired events like BLM and Antifa riots, this event also turned into a clusterfrack of angry men and women who, on social media were promised housing vouchers known as Section 8 vouchers for permanent, subsidized housing.

The maskless moron made her way into the crowd, her mask under her chin, and said to the people gathered there: “I want everybody to go home.”

Brilliant as always.

Her snide comment drew harsh responses from the homeless in the crowd.

“We don’t got no home. That’s why we’re here. What home we gonna go to?” one person yelled at Waters, improperly using a double-negative when a negative would have done the job, but hey, I'm not the Word Police.

You can watch the video in this tweet:
LA , Maxine waters tells the homeless to go home , well they voted for her pic.twitter.com/whFs0FYdGG

— neil jettel (@NeilJettel2) March 31, 2022
After flashing a smile at the crowd, she told them, “Nothing is going to happen here today. Nothing is going to happen anymore today.” She told them that she would contact the LA Homeless Services Authority, as if that would solve anything, but as previously mentioned, Waters is an idiot and that organization is as effective as garlic shampoo for regrowing hair.

One speaker blamed Waters, saying her staff had denied a meeting with homeless advocates and only respond to prank calls by Greta Thunberg and her father.

Waters responded in anger when confronted by that person.

“Excuse me, there’s nobody in Washington who works for their people any fu*king harder than I do. I don’t want to hear this. No, no, no,” she said very ladylike.
Maxine Waters told homeless people to GO HOME.

Perfectly sums up how Democrats feel about the people they govern.

— Lavern Spicer (@lavern_spicer) March 31, 2022
When Waters was asked to work with the housing advocate, she replied that she was doing her job.
“That’s what I do every day. The money that you got thus far came from me in Washington, D.C.,” she said, forgetting that none of it came from her but from the taxpayers. “I will continue to work. I will get the information out to you.”

As she spoke, one voice in the crowd scoffed at her claim by saying, “I still live on the damn streets.”

In a follow-up call, Waters said the incident was “a bunch of rumors” and requested the Los Angeles Times not publish the story because she might lose votes if the public knew how horrible she is at her job and how little she actually cares for the people she pretends to represent.

“You’ll hurt yourself and the community trying to put this together without background,” she said. “I don’t want you to start trying to write it. You won’t understand it,” implying the people at the newspaper are too stupid to understand the situation.

Blanca Jimenez, Waters’s district director, later shared a TV report that was positive about the congresswoman’s appearance at the Friday event.

“Someone shared this photo with the office,” Jimenez said. “Isn’t she brave?”

No. Maxine Waters is not brave. She's incompetent, angry, racist and a liar. In other words, she's a leftist. But she wouldn't know brave if she met a Medal of Honor winner.

There's a live round in the chamber whether there is or is not

The prop gun Alec Baldwin apparently aimed and fired at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, which killed her and wounded director Joel Souza, was previously used by the movie crew off-set for fun, a new report states.

Apparently the gun used in the movie "Rust" was loaded with live rounds and used for target practice
TMZ reported. It was allegedly used off-hours at crew gatherings and this may be why the chamber was loaded with a live round.

Another source who was on set told TMZ that when police arrived they found live ammo and blank rounds stored in the same area, something only an idiot who knows nothing about firearms safety would do.

But the claims have not yet been officially confirmed.

The incident occurred on Thursday on the outskirts of Santa Fe, NM. Alec Baldwin, a staunch anti-gun advocate stupidly pointed the prop gun at Ms. Hutchins and pulled the trigger. He had not bothered to check for himself if the gun was loaded with a lethal round, and he did not bother to aim it in a safe direction--he just pulled the trigger and shot Hutchins in the chest. The bullet went through her body and struck Souza who was standing behind her.

Halyna Hutchins died en route to the hospital and Souza has since been discharged from the hospital.

So the left immediately jumped on the chance to blame the gun and Alec Baldwin wept for being the idiot who killed an innocent woman. The press refuses to say that Baldwin shot her but instead says that the gun went off.

However, the armorer on the movie set, Hannah Gutierrez, was named in records filed Friday in Santa Fe, related to the shooting. The records state that the gun that took Hutchins' life and injured Souza was one of three that Gutierrez had set on a cart outside the building where a scene from the movie was being acted. Gutierrez had once admitted that she had doubts in her capabilities working on movie sets.

Gutierrez, who also goes by Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, appeared on the "Voices of the West" podcast last month where she admitted she was initially reluctant about her abilities.

"I just finished up working on ‘The Old Way’ with Nicolas Cage, his very first Western. It was also my first time being head armorer as well. You know, I was really nervous about it at first and I almost didn't take the job because I wasn't sure if I was ready. But doing it, it went really smoothly," she said.

Chaotic audio from the 911 call shows the distressing moment script supervisor Mamie Mitchell pleads for help.

“We had two people accidentally shot on a movie set by a prop gun, we need help immediately,” Mitchell told an emergency dispatcher. “We were rehearsing and it went off, and I ran out, we all ran out.”

The dispatcher asked if the gun was loaded with a real bullet, which Mitchell could not answer at the time but rather than blaming the person who pointed the gun at a person and pulled the trigger, she blamed the shooting on the film’s assistant director David Halls. The role is typically in charge of ensuring guns are safe on movie sets. But the final responsibility for gun safety is the person with the gun. Period.

Halls yelled out that the weapon was a “cold gun” before handing it to Baldwin, according to a search warrant issued on Friday.

“I cannot tell you. We have two injuries,” Mitchell replied. “And this (expletive) AD (assistant director) that yelled at me at lunch, asking about revisions … He’s supposed to check the guns. He’s responsible for what happens on the set.”

According to other reports, many crew members walked off the set of "Rust" in protest just hours before Alec Baldwin shot Halyna Hutchins and Joel Souza. They were protesting their concerns about safety, or the lack thereof.

The Los Angeles Times reported it had spoken with three crew members who were on the set of the film at Bonanza Creek Ranch in north central New Mexico leading up to the fatal shooting. The members complained that standard safety protocols were being ignored and the paper reported it had reviewed a text message sent by one of the crew members to the film’s unit production manager just before a live round was fired by Baldwin during filming.

“We’ve now had 3 accidental discharges. This is super unsafe,” that message reportedly read.

The sources said that there were a number of incidents with a prop gun on set, and nothing was done about it. In one incident, Baldwin’s stunt double had reportedly fired two rounds from a gun after being told it was inoperable, or “cold.”

“There should have been an investigation into what happened,” one of those people told the Times, citing issues with gun safety. “There were no safety meetings. There was no assurance that it wouldn’t happen again.”

Apparently, the anti-gun left, who make up most of Hollywood, enjoy dicking around with firearms and are clueless about how to safely handle them. Then they go and blame the guns instead of the shooters.

As an aside, on the day of the Baldwin incident, six camera crew workers walked off the job in protest of their working conditions that included long delays for paychecks, long hours on set, and long commutes to the movie site.

In the spirit of Joe Biden's mental status, Rust Movie Productions said in a statement that it was unaware of concerns over safety regarding the film’s production. They said they will  cooperate with authorities in the shooting incident, as if they have a choice.

Baldwin described his careless use of a firearm and killing of Halyna Hutchins as a "tragic accident," when he finally spoke about it the following day.

“There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours,” Baldwin tweeted. “I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”

No immediate charges were filed, and sheriff’s spokesman Juan Rios said Baldwin was permitted to travel.

This should be a trigger warning.

Black woman, 23, beats 70-year-old Mexican-American thought she was Asian

Los Angeles, CA -- an elderly Mexican-American woman was savagely beaten by a Black woman who thought she was Asian. She spouted anti-Chinese slurs at her, according to reports.

The poor woman was simply riding a bus to go grocery shopping Friday in Eagle Rock, an LA neighborhood, according to her son. She was getting off the bus when a Black passenger screamed anti-Chinese racial epithets at her and then brutally beat the woman because beating men is harder for racists.

"The victim's son reportedly says that a female passenger, described as 'Black,' called his mother an anti-Asian slur and then attacked her," KTLA reported.

The attacker reportedly pulled out some of the victim's hair as she dragged her from the back of the bus to the front. The son said his mother suffered a concussion and a broken nose from the assault. Her leg was badly injured, and she now has difficulty walking, according to her son. She was allegedly held overnight in a hospital. Photos show the unnamed woman's face severely bruised and swollen.

"Nobody would help," the victim's son alleges. "Not even the bus driver."

That is vomit-worthy.

A passenger called 911 to report the vicious beating.

The LAPD apprehended the woman shortly after the assault. Yasmine Beasley, 23, was arrested on felony battery charges the New York Post reported.

LAPD spokesman William Cooper told the Los Angeles Times that he was unsure if prosecutors would charge Beasley with a hate crime.

No justice, no peace.

Jail records show that Beasley is being held on only $130,000 bond and is due in court on Friday, Crime Online reported.

The Stop AAPI Hate Reporting Center, which tracks incidents of discrimination, hate, and xenophobia against Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders, reported 3,975 racially motivated incidents against Asian-Americans between March 19 last year and Feb. 28, 2021. Nearly 45% of the incidents in the United States took place in California, and 68% of the victims were female.

California now holds the record as the most racist state in the nation. Liberals also hold the record for most racist party in politics--everything they see is racial and they hold low expectations on Black people in general.

I suspect the legacy media will not be reporting on this story, or if they do, they will likely not discuss the problem insofar as the ethnicity of the attackers tend to be statistically. This was not an act of "white supremacy" as those idiots like to claim.

Asian Lives Matter. All Lives Matter. All. Period.

Biden's lawyers tell Meena Harris to stop doing with Kamala what Joe did for Hunter

It's one thing when Hunter Biden uses his father's political influence to enhance his fortune and supply his habits, but it's another when Meena Harris does the same thing using her aunt, Kamala, to build her personal brand as a social-media-influencer now that she has become Vice President.

Speaking about Meena, 36, a White House official, speaking on the condition of anonymity told The Los Angeles Times, "Some things can't be undone." This was in reference to her past behavior in which she used her sister to gain unearned influence.

"That being said: behavior needs to change," the official continued, referring to her ventures that have of late become a sensitive issue as Kamala joined the Biden White House based on her identity, not her abilities.

Meena Harris is a lawyer who now has become an entrepreneur and has over 800 thousand Instagram followers and posts about personal and political issues.

She is the author of children’s books, including one titled "Kamala and Maya’s Big Idea," and she is the founder of a women’s charitable clothing brand called "Phenomenal."

Her latest book, "Ambitious Girl," was released the night before her aunt was sworn in as the first vice president sporting a uterus and the second non-White person in the White House, the first being Charles Curtis from 1929 to 1933.

Meena Harris has appeared on The View and the Today show, and was profiled this year in Vanity Fair and by The New York Times for reasons unclear.

After the election, White House lawyers told the younger Harris she could not produce any products that used the Kamala's name or likeness, a White House official reportedly told The LA Times.

They also forbid her to manufacture any dolls named Kamala with weird, inappropriate laughter that would jump on old male dolls.

A White House official went as far to say that the book bearing her aunt’s first name, along with a Phenomenal sweatshirt printed "Vice President Aunty," are not allowed under existing ethics rules, the paper reported.

But even after federal lawyers briefed Meena on the new rules she must follow, she still flew on a private plane to the inauguration with a Biden donor and shared the trip on Instagram, according to The LA Times.

Hunter Biden was indispose.

Outgoing John Kelly defends Trump but not on border wall

Chief of Staff John Kelly will soon be leaving the White House and he gave his opinions about the president to "reporters/"

In an interview with the left leaning LA Times, Kelly told reporters that the President routinely consults multiple sources of information before making a decision, even if it often seems like Trump acts without regard for consequences, which is something the LA Times reporters didn't want to hear.

But while the outgoing White House Chief of Staff took aim at the president's border wall in his "exit interview" with the newspaper, he still defended Trump, countering empty claims by the media that the president often acts without knowing the consequences of his decisions. The media seems to make that stuff up as they go along in their hatred for Trump.

"It’s never been: The president just wants to make a decision based on no knowledge and ignorance,” Kelly said. “You may not like his decision, but at least he was fully informed on the impact.”

Kelly, however, took credit for whipping the White House into shape and imposing a sense of order on the Trump Administration's central organizational hub.  Kelly said that this was clearly missing when he first entered the job in 2017.

He added that he feels his tenure was successful because he helped the President view his actions through a lens that wasn't tainted by politics, a benefit, Kelly says, of his own military training.

Kelly also defended the President from claims that he's uncontrollable, because the President still Tweets, even amid political strife. Again, this pissed of the interviewer who was hoping Kelly would be angrier at Trump and say things that would berate him.

Being an honest broker, Kelly wasn't willing to defend every action of the Trump White House. He was critical of Trump's signature anti-illegal immigration effort, the border wall -- his biggest campaign promise and an issue currently at the forefront of national politics. It is also at the crux of Trump's current budget stalemate with Congress.

“To be honest, it’s not a wall,” Kelly told the LA Times, upending an ongoing talking point from the White House that billions are needed to construct a massive, physical wall on the border between the United States and Mexico.

“The president still says ‘wall’ — oftentimes frankly he’ll say ‘barrier’ or ‘fencing,’ now he’s tended toward steel slats. But we left a solid concrete wall early on in the administration, when we asked people what they needed and where they needed it," Kelly continued.

Members of the media, rubbing their hands together like witches around a cauldron, were quick to pounce on Kelly's comments, taking them as critical of the Administration's plan.

Bwah-ha-ha!
“To be honest, it’s not a wall,” John Kelly told the LA Times in an interview. The last time Kelly went on Fox and said the president was “uninformed” on the wall during the campaign, Trump shouted at him so loudly it could be heard outside Oval. This time, Kelly is out.— Josh Dawsey (@jdawsey1) December 30, 2018

But Kelly's assessment of the "wall" isn't nearly as critical as the left-leaning media, particularly on social media, might have readers believe.

In fact, Kelly is clear that the White House -- particularly the Department of Homeland Security -- worked directly with members of the Customs and Border Protection force, to determine what the best design for a so-called "border wall" might be.

"When Kelly led Homeland Security in early 2017, one of his first steps was to seek advice from those who 'actually secure the border,; Customs and Border Protection agents who Kelly calls 'salt-of-the-earth, Joe-Six-Pack folks,' the LA Times reports.

“They said, ‘Well we need a physical barrier in certain places, we need technology across the board, and we need more people,’” he added.

The White House is still in the midst of a battle over funding for the border wall, which is expected to pick up Wednesday, when Congress returns to Washington, D.C. after their holiday. By then, Kelly will be gone.

He is due to depart from his position as Chief of Staff the same day, and I, for one, will miss him.

LA Times hack hurls insult at White House's Sarah Sanders

L.A. Times political columnist David Horsey is a person who enjoys attacking people he doesn't like. And he apparently doesn't like anyone with a conservative political ideology.

But Horsey is a bully and also appears to be a misogynist, as he fat-shamed White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders in his latest and empty anti-Trump hit piece. He referred to Ms. Sanders appearance like that of a "chunky soccer mom."

The pig originally wrote on Wednesday that Sanders "does not look like the kind of woman" that Trump would choose for the high-profile role, and that he would prefer "sleek beauties with long legs and stiletto heels" who could pass for "arm candy" in addition to serving as the White House's top spokesperson.

Who was this cretin thinking about? Betsy DeVos? Kellyanne Conway? Elaine Chao? Nikki Haley?

Cruickshank went on to mention that Ivanka Trump and Melania Trump are closer to the "Barbie dolls in short, tight skirts" that he believes Trump prefers (one is a daughter and one he married, so yeah, he prefers them) at the press briefing podium on a regular basis.

He must be smoking crack.

"By comparison, Sanders looks more like a slightly chunky soccer mom who organizes snacks for the kids' games," he wrote in crayon. "Rather than the fake eyelashes and formal dresses she puts on for news briefings, Sanders seems as if she'd be more comfortable in sweats and running shoes."

When you're supposedly a political columnist/cartoonist, and you attack a person's physical appearance, you need to look for work that has nothing to do with the public.

But then when Cruickshank continued to insult Ms. Sanders, he gave her a backhanded compliment: "Yet, even if Trump privately wishes he had a supermodel for a press secretary, he is lucky to have Sanders."

The porcine creep went on to call Sanders a liar, a "failure" and a "pro" at being ignorant.

But he's a success and a pro at attacking the appearance of people (once calling Trump a "bloated orange mess") while having little to offer intellectually to the rag that still employs him.

Joke of the Day:
The Times' editorial board claims to "feel a special obligation to defend civil liberties and human rights" and believes "extraordinary cultural diversity" is among its "distinguishing strengths."
The "PC Police" would be ashamed of Horsey . . . if he was a conservative.

The Horsey story was picked up by Fox News and when they separately asked the paper and Horsey for comment, there was no immediate response. But The Times quickly removed all references by Horsey to Sanders' appearance and added a note from the scumcrumpet:
"I want to apologize to Times readers--and to Sarah Huckabee Sanders--for a description that was insensitive and failed to meet the standards of our newspaper. It also failed to meet the expectations I have for myself [bull crap]. It surely won't be my last mistake, but this particular error will be scrupulously avoided in my future commentaries. I've removed the offending description."
Oops--he got caught and people don't like it. He has no expectations for himself as he claims. And it wasn't a 'mistake' it was a mirror into his true personality.

His mother really should be ashamed of him. He probably had problems in that area of life.

This is the clear and chronic hypocrisy of the left. They perpetrate everything they attack conservatives for in the name of political correctness. And finally, we're even seeing it with the Democratic Party's implosion over the Hillary Clinton/DNC debacle.

Cruickshank is a bully who attacks people from a safe distance by hurling insults like a monkey hurling feces. He's a hack, a disgusting feces hurling hack.

Remembering What It's All About

It's Memorial Day and president Obama is in Afghanistan, risking his life and limb to bring cheer and change the troops can believe in. Meanwhile, Sergeant Tahmooressi remains in a Mexican prison for making a wrong guess as he tried to return to San Diego and ended up in Mexico.

We cannot expect Obama to be everywhere and do everything to right a wrong, but Secretary of State, John-Swift boat-Kerry was in Mexico and did nothing to free the marine. And, unlike Obama, Kerry served in the Navy where he gave himself a medal for alleged bravery. He later appeared with Hanoi Jane (Fonda) at anti-war rallies to protest the Vietnam war.  After the war, he attended a dedication ceremony for the Communist Museum of Vietnam. This should say it all about Kerry, the phony asshat who said back in 2006 to college students, that you should work hard or find yourself stuck in Iraq. Lucky for him he only got "stuck" in Vietnam a few months. Lucky for him that he married fabulously wealthy women.

Former Florida congressman, Allen West, referred to Obama and Kerry as "these very neutered, pajama boy leaders, these faux leaders in Obama and in Kerry," and described the situation as "very embarrassing."  West believes the Mexican government is simply trying to make money over this incident.

But Obama joked with the troops in Afghanistan, saying he was "in the area," and thought he'd drop by. Ha ha.

The VA scandal, (phony scandal for you liberals) is another sore point on this holiday. American Legion Director of Veteran Affairs and Rehabilitation, Verna Jones, told CBSDC that veterans are hurt by th4e scandal and added "The VA scandal is leaving a black eye every day for  veterans." Liberals called her a racist for using the term 'black eye.'

"Veterans deserve more than the VA is giving. Veterans are losing faith in the system," she said.

Now even the liberal Boston Globe and LA Times are calling Obama incompetent. How competent are they for taking 5 years to figure this out? For a president to say he gets his information from the media and appoints people like Eric Shinseki to head the VA when Obama knew about the problems when he came into office, is unconscionable.

A leader needs to appoint people who know what they're doing and do it effectively--not a Kathleen Sebelius; not an Eric Shinseki; not even a Hillary Clinton.

Obama may be a good campaigner and a good politician, but he sucks at management. He hires incompetents, and refuses to fire them when they screw up. That makes him an incompetent.

But let's not forget about Benghazi. When a US ambassador was attacked and 2 former Navy SEALs went to save him, nobody was sent to assist in the fight. They lied, then they made excuses that they couldn't get there in time. How did they know how long the battle would last?

And when the Secretary of Defense, Leon Pinetta, said that the US doesn't send the military into battle without knowing the situation better, what the hell does he think the military does? He may not go out without his umbrella when it rains, but American troops run to the sound of thunder.

Have a good Memorial Day. Think of the fallen and thank them for their sacrifice.

Gay RIghts Bullies

Brendan Eich lasted ten days as CEO of Mozilla. He was pressured into resigning because, like president Obama, in 2008 they supported Proposition 8, which was an anti-gay rights measure (as pro same-sex marriage people call it).

Michael Hiltzel of the Los Angeles Times, believes the discussion should focus on Eigh's right to be CEO of Mozilla. It should not focus on the fact that Obama held the same belief back in the day, and nobody has called for his resignation. Of course, Obama changed his view when it became politically expedient, or he "evolved" for the gay vote.

So the US gay rights community is saying that you don't deserve to be gainfully employed if you don't support their beliefs and behavior, even when it goes against your morals or religious beliefs.

When Eich's $1000 donation in support of Proposition 8 was discovered (someone obviously made it 'come out of the closet,' so to speak) the war against Eich began.

An online dating website, OKCupid asked its followers to stop using Mozilla's Firefox browser and Credo Mobile, a wireless company, received around 50,000 signatures demanding Eich's resignation. In a letter posted by OKCupid they wrote: Those who seek to deny love and instead enforce misery, shame and frustration are our enemies and we wish them nothing but failure." How freaking tolerant, and how convenient to interpret one's views that way.

Executive Chairwoman, Mitchell Baker (now there's a confusing first name that belies one's sexual identity) said: "Mozilla prides itself on being held to a different standard and this week, we didn't live up to it."

Ms. Baker also spoke about freedom of speech and equality, and believes the latter trumps the former: "Equality is necessary for meaningful speech and you need free speech to fight for equality. Figuring out how to stand for both at the same time can be hard."

Yes, for idiots like Mitch Baker, it can be very hard, especially if you disregard the first ten Amendments of the Constitution, often referred to as the Bill of Rights.

But leftists think that anyone who opposes their beliefs, which, after all, are the only fair ones to be considered, ought to be shut up. They want Rush Limbaugh, for example, to be thrown off the air, because he's wrong and they're right and he has no rights to disagree, for after all, they're right.

Obama told his top military officials that if they don't believe in the  "Don't ask, don't tell" policy, they should hand in their resignation. In other words, fall in, or fall out if you think differently than him. So he has led the attack not on conservatives alone, but on the United States Constitution, and he shows it with his disregard for what it says and offers.

Thankfully, there are a few brave souls in the gay community, like Tammy Bruce, who believe these attacks on individual beliefs and the demand for their dismissals is wrong. I concur and applaud her.

NJ Mayor Says Sanctuary Policies Need a Tune-Up After Baby Killed in Crash
