N. Mexico Supreme Court bans judge after alleged TdA gangbanger arrested at his home

Alright, let’s dive into this mess with the kind of swagger only a disgraced judge and a shady Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gangbanger could inspire. 

Picture this: Joel Cano, once a big shot in New Mexico’s Doña Ana County Magistrate Court, got himself in a pickle so sour it cost him his gavel for good. Last month, the dude bailed on his judge gig after cops nabbed a suspected Tren de Aragua thug—yeah, that Venezuelan crime crew—right at his house. Now, the New Mexico Supreme Court’s dropped the hammer, banning Cano from ever sitting on a bench again. 

No judicial robes, no wedding gigs, nada. “Joel Cano can never hold a judicial office again, be a candidate for a judicial office, and cannot exercise any judicial authority in the state, including officiating at weddings,” an Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) spokesman told Fox News Digital. 

The guy is done. Finito.

The court was supposed to have a big disciplinary showdown this Thursday, but with Cano’s cases tied up, they’ve kicked that to the curb. Cano, who was slinging rulings in Las Cruces, sent his “peace out” letter on March 3, though the AOC says the Supreme Court and 3rd Judicial District Court didn’t get it until March 31. His last day? March 21. 

In his letter, he’s all warm and fuzzy, like he’s leaving for a beach vacation: “All the best to everyone of you. I wish all of you a happy retirement once you are ready yourself.” 

Bro, you’re not retiring—you’re running from a scandal. Your status is lower than whale poop.

Now, let’s get to the juicy part. 

Back in January, Homeland Security Investigations in Las Cruces started sniffing around Cristhian Ortega-Lopez, a Venezuelan who snuck across the border in December 2023 and was allegedly tied to a criminal gang. Court docs call him “an illegal alien from Venezuela and a suspected member of a criminal gang” living with other border-jumpers and flexing firearms like he’s auditioning for a cartel flick. 

On Feb. 28, the feds swooped in with two search warrants at a house owned by Cano’s wife, Nancy Cano. They hauled Ortega-Lopez and his crew out, snagging four guns from the place. Plot twist: the house belongs to Nancy, and the guns? Linked to their daughter, April Cano.

Ortega-Lopez was out here posing with weapons on social media, bragging that April let him “hold and sometimes shoot various firearms.” Classy. He told the feds he met Nancy Cano in El Paso while installing a glass door—real handyman vibes. After getting evicted from his apartment in April 2024, Nancy offered him the “casita” behind her and Joel’s place. 

Cozy setup, right? Until the feds rolled up.

So, Cano’s out, his rep’s trashed, and Ortega-Lopez is cooling his heels in custody. This is the kind of story that makes you wonder who’s vetting the help—and the judges. New Mexico’s courts are done with Cano, and honestly, it’s hard to blame them.

Even New Mexico's Democrat AG refuses to defend Gov. Lujan Grisham's unconstitutional gun ban

Self-identifies as a dictator

The New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez refuses to defend Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's illegal gun order, which faces a number of lawsuits. He told the governor in a letter on Tuesday that he believed the so called emergency order violates state and federal constitutions as it bans law abiding folks from carrying firearms in public spaces across Bernalillo County.

Torrez wrote: “I am writing to inform you that my office will not defend your administration in the above referenced cases challenging” Lujan Grisham’s order.

“Though I recognize my statutory obligation as New Mexico’s chief legal officer to defend state officials when they are sued in their official capacity, my duty to uphold and defend the constitutional rights of every citizen takes precedence,” his letter continued. “Simply put, I do not believe that the Emergency Order will have any meaningful impact on public safety but, more importantly, I do not believe it passes constitutional muster.”

Because it doesn't. It's a power-grab and will fail in court, but in the meanwhile, it may be put in place before it is heard there. Predictably, many law enforcement officials have said that they will not enforce the order because they plan to live up to their oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Lujan Grisham is domestic.

Lujan Grisham signed an executive order on Friday that banned open and concealed carrying firearms in Albuquerque and the rest of the surrounding county. The governor enacted the order — to remain in place for 30 days — after a spate of shootings that killed several children by scumbags who obviously will not abide by the order, leaving the rest of the public defenseless. 

She's not the brightest light in the tool shed.

“The tragic deaths of 5-year-old Galilea Samaniego in a recent drive-by shooting and 11-year-old Froylan Villegas in a road rage incident should serve as a wakeup call to everyone,” Torrez wrote. “I encourage you to engage in a more thoughtful and deliberative process with members of the New Mexico Legislature rather than taking unilateral action that infringes on the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens while having little if any discernible impact on the underlying dynamics driving gun violence in our community.”

Torrez, a Democrat, joins a handful of other officials in refusing to enforce or defend the order. Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller, also a Democrat, said in a statement to social media that the city’s police force would not be responsible for enforcing the governor’s order. Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen announced on Monday that he would not enforce the order either, calling it unconstitutional.

Dictator Lujan Grisham responded to Allen in a statement to the NM Political Report, saying that her administration had “given you the tools, Sheriff Allen — now stop being squeamish about using them. I will not back down from doing what’s right and I will always put the safety of the people of New Mexico first.”

He isn't being squeamish; he's being patriotic.

Lujan Grisham said in an interview on CNN: “It’s not for police to tell me what’s constitutional or not. They haven’t supported one, not one gun violence effort in the State of New Mexico including domestic violence protections, universal background checks.”

The guns have not responded to her comments against them.

Hopefully, Lujan Grisham will be impeached and soon thrown out of office.

There's a live round in the chamber whether there is or is not

The prop gun Alec Baldwin apparently aimed and fired at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, which killed her and wounded director Joel Souza, was previously used by the movie crew off-set for fun, a new report states.

Apparently the gun used in the movie "Rust" was loaded with live rounds and used for target practice 

TMZ reported. It was allegedly used off-hours at crew gatherings and this may be why the chamber was loaded with a live round.

Another source who was on set told TMZ that when police arrived they found live ammo and blank rounds stored in the same area, something only an idiot who knows nothing about firearms safety would do.

But the claims have not yet been officially confirmed.

The incident occurred on Thursday on the outskirts of Santa Fe, NM. Alec Baldwin, a staunch anti-gun advocate stupidly pointed the prop gun at Ms. Hutchins and pulled the trigger. He had not bothered to check for himself if the gun was loaded with a lethal round, and he did not bother to aim it in a safe direction--he just pulled the trigger and shot Hutchins in the chest. The bullet went through her body and struck Souza who was standing behind her. 

Halyna Hutchins died en route to the hospital and Souza has since been discharged from the hospital.

So the left immediately jumped on the chance to blame the gun and Alec Baldwin wept for being the idiot who killed an innocent woman. The press refuses to say that Baldwin shot her but instead says that the gun went off.

However, the armorer on the movie set, Hannah Gutierrez, was named in records filed Friday in Santa Fe, related to the shooting. The records state that the gun that took Hutchins' life and injured Souza was one of three that Gutierrez had set on a cart outside the building where a scene from the movie was being acted. Gutierrez had once admitted that she had doubts in her capabilities working on movie sets.

Gutierrez, who also goes by Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, appeared on the "Voices of the West" podcast last month where she admitted she was initially reluctant about her abilities.

"I just finished up working on ‘The Old Way’ with Nicolas Cage, his very first Western. It was also my first time being head armorer as well. You know, I was really nervous about it at first and I almost didn't take the job because I wasn't sure if I was ready. But doing it, it went really smoothly," she said.

Chaotic audio from the 911 call shows the distressing moment script supervisor Mamie Mitchell pleads for help.

“We had two people accidentally shot on a movie set by a prop gun, we need help immediately,” Mitchell told an emergency dispatcher. “We were rehearsing and it went off, and I ran out, we all ran out.”

The dispatcher asked if the gun was loaded with a real bullet, which Mitchell could not answer at the time but rather than blaming the person who pointed the gun at a person and pulled the trigger, she blamed the shooting on the film’s assistant director David Halls. The role is typically in charge of ensuring guns are safe on movie sets. But the final responsibility for gun safety is the person with the gun. Period.

Halls yelled out that the weapon was a “cold gun” before handing it to Baldwin, according to a search warrant issued on Friday.

“I cannot tell you. We have two injuries,” Mitchell replied. “And this (expletive) AD (assistant director) that yelled at me at lunch, asking about revisions … He’s supposed to check the guns. He’s responsible for what happens on the set.”

According to other reports, many crew members walked off the set of "Rust" in protest just hours before Alec Baldwin shot Halyna Hutchins and Joel Souza. They were protesting their concerns about safety, or the lack thereof.

The Los Angeles Times reported it had spoken with three crew members who were on the set of the film at Bonanza Creek Ranch in north central New Mexico leading up to the fatal shooting. The members complained that standard safety protocols were being ignored and the paper reported it had reviewed a text message sent by one of the crew members to the film’s unit production manager just before a live round was fired by Baldwin during filming.

“We’ve now had 3 accidental discharges. This is super unsafe,” that message reportedly read.

The sources said that there were a number of incidents with a prop gun on set, and nothing was done about it. In one incident, Baldwin’s stunt double had reportedly fired two rounds from a gun after being told it was inoperable, or “cold.”

“There should have been an investigation into what happened,” one of those people told the Times, citing issues with gun safety. “There were no safety meetings. There was no assurance that it wouldn’t happen again.”

Apparently, the anti-gun left, who make up most of Hollywood, enjoy dicking around with firearms and are clueless about how to safely handle them. Then they go and blame the guns instead of the shooters.

As an aside, on the day of the Baldwin incident, six camera crew workers walked off the job in protest of their working conditions that included long delays for paychecks, long hours on set, and long commutes to the movie site.

In the spirit of Joe Biden's mental status, Rust Movie Productions said in a statement that it was unaware of concerns over safety regarding the film’s production. They said they will  cooperate with authorities in the shooting incident, as if they have a choice.

Baldwin described his careless use of a firearm and killing of Halyna Hutchins as a "tragic accident," when he finally spoke about it the following day.

“There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours,” Baldwin tweeted. “I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”

No immediate charges were filed, and sheriff’s spokesman Juan Rios said Baldwin was permitted to travel.

This should be a trigger warning.

NM suspect confesses he decapitated victim after recently released from prison.

The following is kind of gross and somewhat satirical . . . but only somewhat. 

A New Mexico suspect who had recently been released from jail, confessed to murdering and beheading a 51-year-old man in a Las Cruces park on Father's Day.

Joel Arciniega-Saenz, 25, and an apparent mouth-breather, was arrested on first-degree murder charges in the death of James Garcia on June 20, at Apodaca Park, according to KFOX 14 in El Paso, Texas.

Arciniega-Saenz, who looks a bit like Efren Ramirez from the movie "Napoleon Dynamite," is accused of stabbing and decapitating Garcia and claimed that he followed the victim to the park after Garcia robbed him while he was staying at his house a few days prior to the murder. The suspect also claimed without evidence that Garcia had raped Arciniega-Saenz’s wife several years ago but wouldn’t identify her to police, possibly due to the abundant amount of excrement of which he is full.

Arciniega-Saenz allegedly said he dragged Garcia’s body to the street and kicked the victim's severed head at 14 cars, possibly to honor his mysterious "wife's" rape. If true that he kicked Garcia's head around like a soccer ball and counted the number of vehicles he kicked it at, that might indicate Arciniega-Saenz has at least a touch of mental illness.

Investigators found Garcia's head yards away from his body. The suspect is also accused of severing one of Garcia's middle fingers.

The suspect was later found at the park with a bloody knife and dried blood on his clothes and was arrested, indicating that his IQ is probably similar to Joy Reid's.

The suspect had a previous arrest in 2017 for the shooting death of Benjamin Montoya, 21, but the charges were dropped when a key witness was found with a gun of the same caliber as the weapon used in the killing, according to KDBC-TV, in El Paso. 

Montoya's sister was angry when she learned Arciniega-Saenz was released from prison. "I just was very angry because they let a monster out," she  told KDBC.

"I prayed he wouldn’t do it again and ruin someone else’s family," Krystal Montoya said. "I just was very angry because they let a monster out."

Arciniega-Saenz was also arrested in May for vandalizing businesses in La Cruces but was released again by liberals who are not directly affected by crime such as this.

The Third Judicial District Attorney’s Office told KFOX it "diligently argued to keep this guy in jail on the most recent charges for vandalizing Beck’s Coffee House, but the District Court Judge Wingenroth ‘didn’t find him dangerous’ and released him on a $2,000 bond."

Judge Wingenroth is not being held accountable for his piss-poor judgment.

Montoya told KDRD: "I don’t want this guy to be released again and go do something stupid again and go hurt another family again. No matter how much I hurt from my brother, I can say that I hurt for this person‘s family. He needs to be put away, period."

The suspect was being held at the Dona Ana County Detention Center.

NM Gov. Grisham pays $60K+ in alleged crotch-grabbing settlement

New Mexico Democratic Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham paid James Hallinan, a former campaign staffer, no less than $62,500 in a legal settlement after he accused her of grabbing his crotch in 2018, according to the Albuquerque Journal. The alleged incident was said to have occurred in the home of state Rep. Deborah Armstrong during a strategy meeting several months before the 2018 election.

Hallinan told the Santa Fe New Mexican that Grisham dumped water in his lap and then reached toward his "junk."

"Governor Lujan Grisham and Mr. Hallinan have resolved any differences or issues to their satisfaction. I am not able to provide any further information," Hallinan's attorney Rachel Berlin Benjamin told Fox News in a statement.

Both Lujan Grisham’s office and Armstrong have denied any such event occurred, but that's what you'd expect them to say. #BelieveAllMen

Lujan Grisham and the campaign "strenuously deny that there is any merit or truth to Mr. Hallinan’s claims, including his claims about difficulty finding or keeping work after the campaign," campaign spokesman Jared Leopold told the Albuquerque Journal. Leopold's crotch remains untouched by politicians.

"They reached a settlement in order to avoid the continuing distraction and significant expense of possible litigation and allow them to concentrate on working for the people of New Mexico during this pandemic," was the excuse given. #BelieveAllMen

Hallinan said he’d been assaulted in front of Armstrong, Grisham’s campaign adviser Dominick Cabello and two staffers. The governor’s spokeswoman, Nora Meyers Sackett, said: "We’re a rambunctious bunch. I think they were playing around with water." Aha!

Hallinan [who may be gay or just looking for a payday] later tweeted that he’d endured "long, horrific abuse" under Grisham and accused her staff of trying to cover it up. He said he felt as if he’d been "under her thumb." 

It sounds like it was more than just her thumb.

Debra Haaland first-ever Norwegian-Native American U.S. Cabinet secretary

Well it finally happened: the U.S. Senate confirmed Rep. Debra Anne Haaland (D) as Secretary of the Interior, making her the first Norwegian-Native American to head a cabinet agency. The exalted position gives her a central role in the fight over so-called climate change, global warming and the evils of capitalism. 

Haaland's father was a Norwegian-American who served in the Vietnam War as a Marine and won a Silver Star. He died in 2005 and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

Haaland, a New Mexico  progressive just made the cut in a narrow vote after receiving support from GOPers including Sens. Lindsey Graham (SC) Lisa Murkowsky (AL) and Susan Collins (ME), all Republicans who often vote against party lines because they care more about being reelected than conservative values.

Haaland’s rise to the cabinet comes after Biden was pressured by Native American tribes (who threatened to break treaties and attack forts) and environmental groups led by celebrities arriving in polluting private jets, in support of identity politics. So of course, Biden caved and instead of nominating one of his family members, chose Haaland.

Her embattled two-day hearing last month in the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee became a referendum on fossil fuels extraction. Republicans grilled her about her involvement in the oil pipeline protests, her support of the $93 trillion socialist-inspired Green New Deal climate resolution, and the Biden administration’s pause on new federal drilling leases. 

The 60-year-old Norwegian-Native American who was born in Winslow, Arizona (which brings to mind a song by the Eagles) will oversee land policies of half a billion acres of federal and tribal land, which covers about 20 percent of the country.

 A member of the Laguna Pueblo tribe, Haaland would also oversee the U.S. government’s relationship with some 574 federally recognized tribal nations. 

Senate Majority Leader Chuck "Nostrils" Schumer said Haaland’s appointment will help repair the relationship between the Interior Department and the tribal nations that had not been treated fairly by that agency. Schumer {known as "Uncle Chuck" to Amy Schumer] gave no examples but we can take him on his word because, after all, he is the Senate Majority Leader and he would never lie.

Democratic state employee arrested for alleged vandalism of GOP HQ

The following is only partially true. See if you can guess what isn't.

Albuquerque, New Mexico -- Cameron Chase McCall, a state employee who once worked for Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) when she was a U.S. congresswoman, was arrested for allegedly vandalizing GOP headquarters with spray paint, KOAT-TV reported.

The rotund coward was caught on video which was installed last year when the same HQ was vandalized in the same way, using the same type of paint. Some believe McCall was the culprit in both cases but have no proof of the claim, however, there seems to be a connection to both messages: last year the word sprayed on the building was "Traitors," this year the words were "Still Traitors." Hmm. 

Police are investigating the possibility.

"The [criminal] complaint says McCall is heavily involved with the Democratic Party," KOAT reported.

McCall is an employee with Expo New Mexico and is now on leave, the station said, adding that an Expo spokesman noted that if McCall is the individual on the video, he could be terminated or perhaps receive an award for his act of loyalty to the Party. The political ramifications are currently being explored by the Democrats and there will be focus groups to test which way they'll go.

McCall may be without a job at Expo New Mexico, but his phone has been ringing off the hook with calls from Antifa who are looking to enlist Crazy String can-slingers.

A spokesman for the governor confirmed McCall interned for her when she was a U.S. congresswoman and he was "a quiet guy, who always stayed by himself. Nobody expected that he would do such a thing." The same bilge one hears by neighbors of mass murderers.

Grisham condemned the vandalism as unacceptable behavior, especially since he was allegedly caught on video.

GOP staff told the station it will cost about $4,000 to repair the vandalism.

The police report indicated photos and tips led them to McCall, who was arrested Wednesday night, KOAT noted.

In addition, police said the same type of paint was used in last year's and this year's vandalism, the station reported.

Since McCall has no prior arrests on his record, he was released from jail until his next court date. He was last seen in court inspecting his shoes.

This garbage has got to stop.

Gun-free Starbucks keep getting bombed by ISIS

Maybe he doesn't like burnt coffee flavor, or maybe he's just a non-Muslim hater like the rest of his ISIS ilk, but the suspect in the bombing of three Albuquerque, N.M. Starbucks is now in federal custody. The suspect's name has not been released, but my money is on Muhammed or a derivative thereof. 

The explosive devices were detonated last Friday and gun shot evidence was also found by law enforcement.

The FBI statement read:

"Federal and Albuquerque law enforcement and fire officials are investigating the vandalism of three Albuquerque coffee shops that occurred after midnight on November 25, 2016.

"Suspicious devices were placed at three closed Starbucks coffee shops, and once caused minimal damage."

There must be something about Starbucks that ISIS doesn't like. The coffee? The fact that they are all "gun-free zones" and have stopped armed law enforcement from being served?  The price of a damn cup of coffee?

In March, a Brussels airport bombing killed 34 infidels and Starbucks was a target as well as other shops. ISIS claimed responsibility.

In January, Indonesian officials said that ISIS was responsible for an explosion and shootout at a Jakarta Starbucks. But, of course, none of the coffee customers was armed.

Starbucks has a history of being bombed. In 2009, an upper East Side New York establishment was bombed and a Starbucks in Camp Lejeune, a Marine Corps facility, had threats made against it. 

But because the Starbucks was part of a USMC facility, the scumcrumpets who made the threat obviously didn't want to face the consequences of Marines who might be denied their morning "Joe."
