Virginia Prosecutor Tells Gun Ban To Pound Sand, Reminds Everyone The Second Amendment Is Still A Thing

Ryan Mehaffey, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Virginia prosecutor, is taking a hard-line stance against what is an "unconstitutional" new gun ban signed by far-left Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger.

Comrade Spanberger, who has been slipping in the polls amid criticisms of her socialist/progressive policy agenda, signed a new bill last week banning the future sale and manufacture of "assault weapons," including many semiautomatic rifles, pistols and shotguns. The law also bans the future sale of magazines with a capacity of more than 15 rounds, because she thinks people don't carry more than one magazine nor know how to reload.

The move caused immediate backlash from many Virginians and raised new Second Amendment violation concerns. Rather than protest, however, Mehaffey, who serves as the commonwealth attorney for Spotsylvania County, is drawing a line in the sand and flatly refusing to enforce the ban.

With the bill set to take effect this July ahead of America’s 250th anniversary of independence, Mehaffey sent a letter to Spotsylvania Sheriff Roger Harris, instructing him that the ban is "unconstitutional and cannot be lawfully enforced."

Virginia Democrat Gov. Abigail Spanberger is drawing Republicans' ire and a potential Justice Department lawsuit on her latest moves against the Second Amendment. I would say that she needs to be removed from office, but I won't.

A statement released by Spanberger’s office called the assault weapons ban a "critical step toward protecting families, communities, and the law enforcement officers who serve them." It also puts miscreants who would terrorize or otherwise commit crimes with firearms at a distinct advantage over those of us who want self-defense protection of our homes and businesses. But worse, it goes against the U.S, Constitution and is totally illegal.

Spanberger remarked she signed the bill into law "because firearms designed to inflict maximum casualties do not belong on our streets." She forgot to mention how firearms can prevent or minimize casualties by the time law enforcement arrives. 

These are the same dolts who talk about 'gun violence' as if the gun operates on its own.

The leftist governor added that "while the General Assembly chose not to adopt my amendment that specifically carves out certain firearms frequently used for hunting, I will work with the patrons to clarify this language."

In response, Mehaffey said in an interview with Fox News Digital that the law "is striking at the core of the militia system that existed in Virginia."

According to Mehaffey, the Second Amendment is not just an assurance of personal freedoms, but also a safeguard for a community’s ability to defend itself through a 'well-regulated militia.'

"Our founders were careful to make sure when they drafted our founding document, that the ultimate right of the people was preserved to defend themselves and to defend their community," he explained. "So, the linchpin of the constitutional analysis is going to be does this instrument have some reasonable relationship to the preservation or efficiency of a regulated militia."

Mehaffey argues that Virginia historical tradition and legal precedent requires citizens own firearms for the public defense, saying, "The second amendment may not mean that you are allowed to have a nuclear weapon, but what it does allow you to have is a basic infantry weapon."

Mehaffey argues that in Virginia, historical tradition and case law precedent not only allow citizens to own firearms but even require them to arm themselves with the weapons of a basic infantryman for common defense. In the Founding Fathers’ time, Mehaffey said the standard issue was a musket and 20 rounds. Today, the basic infantry weapon in the U.S. military is the M4A1 carbine equipped with a 30-round magazine. And let's not leave out the idea that extra magazines are provided to our war fighters.

"The second amendment may not mean that you are allowed to have a nuclear weapon," he laughed. "But what it does allow you to have is a basic infantry weapon."

"That sort of weapon is the core of what's protected by the Second Amendment. Not necessarily a nuclear warhead, but a rifle that you can take out and form either a fire team or a company to defend yourself and to defend your community."

Spoken like a true 'grunt'.

Mehaffey is not alone in his stance. In addition to what he characterized as the "overwhelmingly positive" response from his community, Smyth County Commonwealth’s Attorney Phillip Blevins, an Air Force veteran, has also refused to enforce the bill, arguing it is unconstitutional. The ban is also facing lawsuits from gun-rights groups, including the NRA, Firearms Policy Coalition and Second Amendment Foundation.

Blevins told Fox News Digital that "ultimately, courts will continue to address these issues, and I respect the role of the judiciary. But as the elected Commonwealth’s Attorney for Smyth County, I will continue to stand for what I believe the Constitution requires, without apology or hesitation.""My position is not based on politics. It is based on constitutional fidelity," he continued, adding, "The Bill of Rights either means something, or it does not."

"As Commonwealth’s Attorney, I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of Virginia. That oath is not situational, and it does not change based on politics, headlines, or pressure from either side of an issue."

Mehaffey believes he and those standing beside him on this issue will ultimately prevail."The Second Amendment is the supreme law of the land, both in the U.S. Constitution and the analog in the Virginia Constitution," he explained. "So, whatever law is passed by the General Assembly is not going to have the ability to supersede the Constitution."

While he has gotten a lot of personal attention for his stance, Mehaffey emphasized that, "I want nothing more than to fulfill my office with honor and to be a good servant to the people that elected me to represent them and to stick up for their rights."

"That's what I'm trying to do," he continued, adding, "I would expect any government official to remain faithful to the Constitution and to discharge their duties as servants of the people in the same way that I have."

In other news, Spanberger's office is reportedly working on a follow-up bill that would ban pointy sticks, stones, and angry words, just to be safe.

BREAKING: Terror attack in Jerusalem leaves 6 dead, 11 injured--two terrorists neutralized

Another terrorist attack in the Israeli capital, Jerusalem, this morning has killed 6 and injured at least 11 others.  The two terrorists were neutralized at the scene by an Israeli soldier and another individual, an armed Yeshiva student.

This is a great example of why it's important for citizens to have the right to be armed.

The attack occurred around 10:13 a.m. local time at a large bus stop where several hundred people were gathered.

Weapons were recovered including firearms, ammunition and a knife.

IDF forces have been deployed to the scene and the identity of the terrorists is underway in cooperation with police. There is a search going on for any additional suspeces.

The area has been locked down and an emergency has been declared.

It will be surprising if the left-leaning news reports in detail on this attack, which was obviously anti-Semitic. A recent survey, for example, has found that approximately 20 percent of the UK population are anti-Semitic and believe October 7th was justified.

Kamala Harris: 10 issues she may have "Trumpified"

With Kamala Harris having to walk back most everything she believes that will hurt her presidential chances, most of us wouldn't be surprised if she sleeps with Stormy Daniels and dyes her hair just to give the illusion she's like Trump only black and a woman.

Harris has walked back on so many issues, it's hard to take her seriously. I suspect if she wins the presidency, she will do exactly what she wants, and that's to follow her estranged father's socialist philosophy and Make America Ache.

1. She was outspoken about banning fracking during her 2020 short-lived campaign that ended up getting her zero primary votes. But now she pretends her stance has changed and no longer supports a ban. Some people will believe her and others will be happy if it does change back to the ban. Kamala is now getting in line with the more centrist Democrats in her fake approach to energy policy and tut-tuts global warming, at least until the second week in November.

2. She has also proposed a smaller increase in long-term capital gains tax rate compared to what Biden suggested. This is a change from her former stance of taxing the wealthy. And now while supporting an increase in corporate tax, she sees how unpopular it is, and has suggested a lower tax hike than previously discussed.

3. In a move to kick the Second Amendment in the butt, she supported mandatory buy-back programs for "assault weapons" but her new 'elect me, guys' stance is less aggressive because she has no other political philosophy than to get elected by any means necessary. Her current stance focuses more on background checks and other less controversial measures. But it isn't background check improvement that's so needed, it's the enforcement of the laws that are already in place.

4. Harris and health care are a fiscal joke. She once supported Medicare For All and a single-payer health care system, which would end private health insurance, remove people's choices for health care, and destroy thousands of jobs. Suddenly, her campaign claims she no longer supports this, but Harris herself has not stated this openly.

5. For Harris, the ability for mothers to kill their babies in the womb has always been a soft spot in her heart. While she still believes women have the right to do this right up to the baby's crowning she is now emphasizing these rights as a large focal point of her campaign. 

6. Back when she was first running for president, she wanted to decriminalize illegal border crossings. But with Trump going full-on border defense, Harris believes she has evolved and suddenly supports stronger border controls and enforcement, at least for now. Maybe even a wall on the southern border.

7. She had, but no longer has, a federal jobs guarantee initiative that was part of her Green New Deal proposal. Harris loves her some Green New Deal--it's what daddy would have wanted, although he's nowhere to be found. 

8. In an effort to kick capitalism in the symbolic nuts, Harris was for a mandate for automakers to build only electric and hydrogen vehicles by 2035. While it's not certain whether she is still for it or against the idea, once she's in office [heaven forfend] anything is possible.

9. Slavery reparations were also big for the giggling Vice President. In this case too, her position is unclear and since she wasn't asked in the only powder puff interview she had [for 16 minutes] it's likely she's still for it. Who knows where she stands since she hides from the disinterested media.

10. But the most important issue she was dead set to impose on the American people was the banning of plastic straws to save the environment. Never mind that plastic bags, plastic pens, and so on, are not being banned, but Axios recently reported that Kamala Hahahaharris is no longer for the ban.

Texas Mall Shooting: at least 9 dead, including children

ALLEN, Texas -- Police have responded to a shooting in a huge outdoor shopping mall in Allen, Texas where, at latest report, nine people have been killed and so has the shooter, according to local authorities.

The carnage began at around 3:30 p.m. local time Saturday at the Allen Premium Outlets, according to local media outlets.

“Law enforcement is on the scene at Allen Premium Outlets. An active investigation is underway. Please avoid the area until further update,” Allen Police Department posted on Twitter.

A Collin County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said that there are multiple victims, including children. The sheriff also confirmed that the shooter is dead at the scene.

Governor Greg Abbott commented on what he called an ‘unspeakable tragedy.' 

“Our hearts are with the people of Allen, Texas tonight during this unspeakable tragedy,” Abbott said.

“I have been in contact with Mayor Fulk and DPS Director McCraw as well as other state and local leaders and offered the full support of the State of Texas to local officials to ensure all needed assistance and resources are swiftly deployed, including DPS officers, Texas Rangers, and investigative resources.”

NBC Dallas initially reported that witnesses said there were at least two fatalities in the shooting at the outlet mall in Allen, Texas. That figure has now climbed to nine and we pray it doesn't grow.

Texas is an "open carry" state but unfortunately, it appears that no one nearby in the area was armed except the shooter. He was eventually neutralized by law enforcement, but situations like this make a good case for open carry.

This is a breaking situation and more will follow as it is learned.

FL robbery suspect running from cops shot 8 times by good guy with a gun: "Swift end to dirt-bag's crime spree"

A robbery suspect who, if Barack Obama had a son would look like him, led Florida police on a reckless high-speed chase.

The suspect got out of the vehicle he was in and attempted to carjack a convenience store clerk who fortunately was armed. He shot the alleged scumbag eight times and ended the alleged miscreants alleged crime career.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post, that Qwinntavus Kwame Jordan walked into a Shell gas station in Flagler Beach and "alluded to having a firearm" which allowed him to walk out of the store with $90 in cash.

Police located Jordan’s car on I-95 and began pursuing him until reaching the Florida-Georgia line where authorities in Georgia took over the chase and spike stripped Jordan’s car at which point he began fleeing on foot.

According to the Facebook post, Jordan then "entered a nearby convenience store, brandished a firearm, and demanded the clerk’s car keys."

Jordan got into the vehicle and started to flee but crashed the vehicle through the front of the store and then "exited the vehicle and chased the clerk and a customer through the store and a struggle ensued."

"The clerk, who was now armed, shot the suspect approximately 8 times according to Georgia authorities," police said.

Jordan was arrested and taken to the hospital where he was said to be in critical condition because 8 bullets in one body is a lot to deal with.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and that the suspect was a fugitive wanted for armed robbery in Georgia at the time of his arrest.

"I commend our Real Time Crime Center team for quickly developing suspect information and his vehicle and thank all the agencies that assisted in apprehending this armed and dangerous fugitive," Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said in the press release.

"I also commend the Georgia store clerk that put a swift end to this dirt-bag's crime spree. If he survives his injuries, he should spend a long time in prison."

Alleged crime doesn't pay in the end.

Rapper Lil Tjay arrested in The Bronx with loaded gun in car--know what I'm sayin'?

Rapper Tione Jayden Merritt, 21,  [aka Lil Tjay] was stopped and busted by the bulls when they found a loaded blicky in the car in which he was cruising The Bronx.

The Bronx-born rapper was with several homeboys when the federales pulled them over for unknown reasons. He along with one of his running mates were taken into custody with charges pending.

It appears that the "Brothers" rapper, who signed with Columbia Records, was in The Bronx to shoot. Yes, he was apparently there to shoot a music video, according to social media posts.

“Video shooot today lol it’s litt,” reads a borderline intelligence post on his Instagram story.

The latest bust comes seven months after Lil Tjay was shot several times on June 22, 2022 during an attempted robbery at an Edgewater, New Jersey, shopping plaza. He underwent emergency surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center along with his friend, Antoine Boyd, who was also shot. The shooter was also shot but escaped with a little help from his friend. 

Later the same day, the fuzz busted Mohamed Konate, 27, and charged him with three counts of first-degree attempted murder.

So while Lil Tjay got busted for possession of a loaded persuader, you can understand why he might want to be carrying as it was thought the June shooting targeted him.

Good guy with a gun stops scumcrumpet from beating a pregnant woman

A man with a legally registered handgun stopped another man from allegedly beating a pregnant woman in Florida. 

So it's true and the libs are lying: a good guy with a gun does exist, contrary to what some Democrats such as New York Gov. Kathy Hochul that there are no good guys with guns. 

The good guy with a gun drew his weapon on a man accused of beating his pregnant girlfriend in front of a Publix grocery store in Largo, Florida last Saturday, as per the Miami Herald.

The woman told the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department that Cole Danisment, 27, punched her in the face multiple times. She allegedly fell to the ground whereupon Danisment began stomping on her head and upper body. According to the woman, the scumcrumpet knew she was 14 weeks pregnant with his child.

Upon seeing what was taking place, a good guy with a gun stepped in, fearing the woman might suffer fatal injuries if the alleged beating continued. He pulled his gun and Danisment backed off.

The woman was “covered in large amounts of blood,” the police report said and she may have also suffered a broken nose.

The scumcrumpet has recent prior run-ins with the law. He had been arrested a week before for domestic abuse charges and had a no-contact order against him.

The scumspect was charged with aggravated domestic battery and booked into jail. He is being held there on a $20,000 bond, according to court records.

So while we hear story after story of armed good guys with guns stopping crimes, the left insists this idea that armed citizens can be a good thing is labeled a myth.

In August,  New York Gov. Hochul announced that the "good guy with a gun" narrative was "over" after implementing severe anti-Second Amendment laws in the state.

“We don’t need guns on our streets. We don’t need people carrying guns in our subways. We don’t need people carrying guns in our schools. We don’t need people carrying in our places of worship. We don’t need them carrying them into bars or restaurants. Because that only makes people less safe,” Hochul claimed, believing that bad guys with illegal guns would obey her decree and we would all get along. 

Hochul apparently gets all her news from CNN and MSNBC because New York is experiencing a huge surge in crime. 

And while blue states and cities keep trying to disarm the public's Second Amendment rights, the courts keep those attempts in check as incidents of 'good guys with guns' deterring crime keep adding up. The concept of a good guy with a gun is not a myth and has been proven over and over.

Mom shoots home intruder, has him wait for cops to arrive

San Antonio, Texas -- A mother exercised her right to self-defense on April 28th when a home invader entered her house while her three children were all tucked up in their beds. As quietly as she could, she shot the bastard and sat him in a chair in her back yard as they waited for police to arrive.

The left hates stories like this because they seem to have more sympathy for the victims than the victimized, even though in this case it was the scumbag who was finally the victim of his own miscreant behavior. 

The legacy media loves to report on gun violence [where the guns, not the crap weasels using them are the villains] but skip the parts where guns are used for personal protection.

As reported by the New York Post, the woman, whose name was withheld, heard the man trying to enter her house through her laundry room. 

She got a gun and shot the criminal, striking him twice in the chest, which prevented him from causing violence to her and her children while also preventing him from fleeing the scene of his crime as his injuries put a damper on that idea. Fortunately, no innocent people were hurt as the children slept quietly through the night.

According to police, the invader, Roman Rodriguez, 41, expired while en route to the hospital. And while it wasn't reported whether or not Rodriguez was armed, it's irrelevant. The woman did exactly what she needed to do to protect herself and her children, and she even saved the court time and the state money. I know this sounds cold, but criminals need to learn that there may be repercussions to their criminal activities.

According to News 4 San Antonio, even though Rodriguez died, the woman will not face charges, as the castle doctrine applies and the use of force was authorized and morally justified.

3-year-old toddler used as human shield in 2019 by his cowardly father dies

Killing a baby in the womb or shortly after he or she is delivered outside of it is horrible, and the height of selfishness and godlessness. Using a baby as a human shield by the child's cowardly father is beyond words and only can be described as the height of cowardly behavior, to the point of wanting to vomit.

Yaseem Jenkins, 3, was a mere 11 months old when his father [whose name will not be used because it only belongs on toilet paper] a con artist, used him as a human shield in a 2019 drug-related shooting in Philadelphia, prosecutors said.

The child died Tuesday.

The father allegedly attempted to  buy drugs with counterfeit cash in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia, according to officials. When the shooter, Francisco Ortiz, 29, fired upon the father's car after the drug deal went bust, and Yaseem was in the back seat.

“Our investigation has led us to believe that he intentionally had his child with him when he was making such types of purchases with the idea or belief that if someone saw that he had a child in the car, that they would not fire upon him,” Anthony Voci of the district attorney’s office said at the time.

“A human shield is probably the term that I would use.”

“We are awaiting a medical examiner’s report on the cause of death but we have reason to believe the cause of death is his original injury from that shooting,” Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said at a Friday press conference.

Ortiz was expected to be charged with murder in Yaseem's death if it is ruled a homicide by the coroner, and it isn't looking very good for the scumbag.

And while the father wasn't directly involved with pulling the trigger, the father has been charged with recklessly endangering another person and endangering the welfare of a child, according to KYW-TV. This seems to be an incredibly generous understatement for a person who would bring his child to a dangerous drug deal.

Less than 24 hours after Yaseem was shot, the same weapon was given to the killers by Ortiz that was used to shoot another baby, police said.

 Nikolette Rivera, 2, died after suspects shot her in the back of the head while opening fire on her North Philadelphia home. 

Firearms are not evil or violent--that depends on the person holding it. How more obvious can it get?

4 Biden Lies [aka misspeaks] During His Soporific Speech Wednesday

President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.'s joint session of Congress speech had less energy than a Solyndra solar panel at midnight in a cave. He sounded like a harmless old coot, but if you listened without dozing off, you might have been a bit nervous over his words.

But he even lied to the American public in the speech and here are just a few of the myriad fibs he foisted on the public.

1. He lied about travel with Communist Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Biden said: “I spent a lot of time with President Xi, traveling over 17,000 miles.”

But even the left leaning Washington Post said it  “could not get the travel to add up to anything close to 17,000 miles.” Perhaps Biden meant 17,000 meters.

2. He made false and misleading claims about guns, as is his wont and that of the Democratic Party in general.

What "Mumbles" said was: “In the ’90s we passed universal background checks, a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines that hold 100 rounds that can be fired off in seconds. We beat the N.R.A. Mass shootings and gun violence declined, check out the report, over 10 years. … We need a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. And don’t tell me it can’t be done. We did it before and it worked.”

Left-wing ProPublica reported:

A definitive study of the 1994 law – which prohibited the manufacture and sale of semiautomatic guns with “military-style features” such pistol grips or bayonet mounts as well as magazines holding more than ten rounds of ammunition – found no evidence that it had reduced overall gun crime or made shootings less lethal. “We cannot clearly credit the ban with any of the nation’s recent drop in gun violence,” the Department of Justice-funded study concluded in 2004. “Should it be renewed, the ban’s effects on gun violence are likely to be small at best and perhaps too small for reliable measurement.”

And if you can't believe a left-wing report that goes counter to a left-wing President who pretended to be a moderate in his campaign, you probably wouldn't believe anyone.

Biden's words: “We need a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. … Talk to most responsible hunters and gun owners. They’ll tell you there’s no possible justification for having 100 rounds in a weapon. … These kinds of reasonable reforms have overwhelming support from the American people, including many gun owners.” 

This comes from the old guy who recommends shooting a shotgun in the air if an intruder tries to get into your home. He's a "shoot 'em in the leg" kind of guy who has no idea of what he speaks, or remembers what he just said, or where he said it.

When Biden or any president says there is "no justification for having 100 rounds in a weapon, that in itself justifies having 100 rounds in your weapon. He and his Party is the reason for the Second Amendment.

The Washington Post fact-checked a similar claim that Biden made 10 days ago when he mush-mouthed these words at a press conference: “The folks who own weapons, the folks who own guns, they support universal background checks. The majority of them think we should not be selling assault weapons.”

Bull pucks. That's a bald-face lie and he used to know it when his brain was functioning at a mediocre level.

The Post reported:

Numerous surveys show that a vast majority of Americans, including gun owners, support enhanced background checks. But Biden went too far in claiming that a majority of gun owners also support a ban on assault weapons. Personally, I don't know of even one person who owns a gun and holds this view because it's a lie.

The White House could not point to even one poll that supported the claim, while a recent Post poll found that a narrow majority opposed it. The president earns Two Pinocchios and a free discount ticket to a Denny's buffet with a free dessert.

Biden's words were: “From the very beginning, there were certain guns, weapons that could not be owned by Americans. Certain people could not own those weapons, ever. We’re not changing the Constitution. We’re being reasonable.” 

Biden may not have realized who those "certain people" he referred to forbidden to own guns were blacks and Native Americans [we used to call them Indians].

National Review senior writer David Harsanyi, who is a Second Amendment expert, disputed a nearly identical comment that Biden made 10 days ago.

Harsanyi wrote:

I can’t even begin to imagine what rickety basis there is for making such a claim. I mean, I wrote a book on the history of American guns, and never once did I run across any law that restricted Americans from owning any weapons they desired (unless we’re talking about blacks or Indians; because most gun restrictions in U.S. history have been employed to unarm the people who need weapons most). The idea of the federal government conducting any kind domestic “gun policy” whatsoever would have been a completely alien concept to anyone before the 1930s. Even then, no specific types of guns were banned from use. It wasn’t really until 1986 that that fully automatic guns were effectively banned by the federal government.

3. Biden took too much credit for the vaccinations that are being administered, almost as if he was the one who came up with the vaccine in his basement lab with his doctor wife.

What Biden mumbled: “When I was sworn in, less than 1% of seniors were fully vaccinated against COVID-19. One hundred days later, nearly 70% of seniors are fully protected.”

That's because the vaccine, under the Trump administration [as opposed to the Harris-Biden administration] had just been rolled out. By the time Biden took office, about one million people a day were being vaccinated and the increase, by the time Biden was sworn in remained along the same inclined curve that came before him. Had Trump won the presidency--and some believe he did--the same increase would have probably been achieved.

The Harris-Biden administration are idiots for wearing face masks along with the congressmen and women in the Capitol during the speech. They are all vaccinated and still did their anti-social distancing in the chamber with their "fear diapers" on the faces. 

Even the GOP stupidly went along with this moronic theater.

The Washington Post said that Biden’s claim is a “misleading statistic,” adding:

When Biden took office, vaccinations had been given for only about a month. Moreover, health-care workers, residents of long-term care facilities, front-line essential workers and people over the age of 75 were in line to be the first to be vaccinated, which is why a relatively small percentage of people over 65 had been fully vaccinated.

4. Biden also lied about illegal aliens saying,  “Over 11 million undocumented folks, the vast majority of here overstaying visas.” 

The Washington Post stated that while visa overstays outpaced illegal aliens who entered the U.S. in recent years, he “was wrong to say the ‘vast majority’ overstayed their visas.”

But let's face it, Biden was wrong to run for President in the first place and should have known that if he had any awareness that his brain is less dependable than a paper condom. 

And his wife, Doctor Jill Biden, perhaps one of America's foremost doctors, should have encouraged him to ride off into the sunset and plagiarize a book or something instead of running for President.

Biden: "Shoot them in the leg"

Remember as a kid, the old cowboy movies where the good guy would face a bad guy with a gun and rather than shooting at the guy's mass, the good guy would shoot the gun out of the miscreant's hand? In the movie business that is known as make believe because nobody with more than two brain neurons to rub together would shoot at the nasty gun, rather than the nasty guy who was about to kill you with it.

Enter Joe Biden, an actual human who probably doesn't know which end of the gun where the bullets fire out from.

On Thursday, Biden once again contended that police should try to shoot dangerous suspects in the leg as a form of de-escalation.

"You have to teach people how to de-escalate circumstances. De-escalate," Biden said during an ABC News town hall. "So, instead of anybody coming at you and the first thing you do is shoot to kill, you shoot them in the leg."

Really, he said that. He also thinks it's a good idea to scare off intruders by firing two shotgun blasts in the air. Aside from it being illegal to fire a gun in the air, it's really extremely stupid, especially if it's a double-barrel shotgun and you've emptied it at the clouds. But that's another story.

Gun-safety and police training experts blasted Biden's "wisdom" when he first made the stupid comment at a campaign event in June. They explained that the idea of using a firearm to de-escalate a situation, or use non-lethal force when your own life is being threatened, is dangerous.

Rob Pincus told the Free Beacon in June, "Legs move. It's much harder to hit a smaller moving target than it is to hit the chest."

Pincus trains cops all throughout the country and Europe. "From a technical shooting skill standpoint, from a technical legal standpoint, it's not where we want to go at all," he said.

Joe Biden is running for President on the Democratic ticket. A vote for him is a vote for a stupid America.

NYC: 4 killed, 11 wounded overnight

Four people — including a 28-year-old off duty city Correction officer, John Jeff — were killed and at least 11 were shot overnight as New York City is morphing into Dodge City of the old West.

The latest fatality occurred shortly after 6:30 a.m. Saturday in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, when police from the 67th Precinct responded to reports of a person shot at the corner of East 39th Street and Avenue D.

Police found a 30-year-old man shot once in the torso. He was rushed to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Although there were no immediate arrests made, the cops are looking for a woman who fled the scene in a gray SUV and they believe the incident "may be domestic in nature."

The latest shooting occurred at 10:30 a.m. A 40-year-old man was shot in the arm on a subway platform at Grand Central Terminal, according to The Post. It is believed to be a random attack and the gunman got away and remains at large.

Other shootings took place in Brooklyn. A man was grazed by a bullet in the back of his head. The shooting happened at 12:30 a.m. on Herkimer Street, police said.

The Bronx also joined the carnage at 1 a.m. when a 30-year-old man was shot on 128th Street in Harlem and he was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital. As usual, there were no arrests and the investigation is ongoing, yadda, yadda.

The gunplay continued with four shootings in less than two hours, police said.

I could go on, but you get the picture. The point is, New York City has become more dangerous than Afghanistan in spite of New York's notoriously strict gun control laws that merely keeps the guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens.

And the Democrats want to take all guns away from law abiding citizens, except for their personal security.

Beto seems to get his talking points from Biden on his less lucid days

Robert Francis O'Rourke [who uses the pseudonym "Beto" to try sounding Mexican and cool, except when he tries to speak Spanish] continues to show America why he never stood a chance of getting the Democratic nomination for the 2020 presidential election.

If you listen carefully to his empty thoughts, you can hear the mouse passing out on the wheel-to-nowhere in his brain.

The former Democratic congressman is blaming gun violence and coronavirus deaths squarely on the GOP because the mouse is now dead and the thought-wheel is not moving, so there's that.

The arm-flailing, wet-pits leftist who would be Joe Biden's co-cretin to "lead the effort" to "take care of the gun problem" [if heaven forbid the useless for decades Biden wins the election] made the delusional, evidence absent claim that Republicans are pushing for the reopening of schools in the fall because they have a "death-cult mentality."

Huh? 

Republicans don't kill the unborn and most recently born babies.

The failed presidential candidate compared the argument that the benefits of reopening schools outweighed the risks to arguments against gun confiscation. And eating pizza on Tuesdays puts a burden on hockey players in July.

"These are the same people who want us to accept that more people, including more children, will die of gun violence this year in America than in any other developed country bar none," he told MSNBC's homophobic, racist Joy Reid. "It's just the price of quote, unquote freedom in this country." He did his "air fingers" quote unquote which gets AOC all hot and frisky.

Beto's solution to the problem of gun violence is to take away all guns from legal gun owners and dismantle the police.

"It's that same kind of death-cult mentality that asks us to accept one quarter, 25 percent of the world's COVID cases, one quarter, 25 percent of the world's COVID deaths, though we represent only 4 percent of the globe's population," he said. "That is absolutely unacceptable."

It's a perfect analogy, if you're Joe Biden.

But O'Rourke's claim about gun violence is contradicted by FBI data, or what some call "facts," a serious problem for the left when exposed to the public by real journalists, as opposed to the mainstream media.

The facts show that violent crime in America has actually been receding for decades after it peaked in the 1990s. And this is in spite of record legal gun sales over the past decade. See Beto, it's the illegal guns that tend to kill people in much higher numbers than those illegal street guns in violent Democrat-run cities like Chicago, Detroit and New York.

Americans caught onto O'Rourke's agenda when he ran unsuccessfully for the presidential nomination when he said on the debate stage that,  "Hell yes, we're going to take your AR-15, your AK-47." 

People's whose mouse was doing well on their own thought-wheel realized that this clown wanted to take away their Second Amendment right, and there's no telling what else the Biden-Beto bozos would attack next.

Poway synagogue suspect "defending our nation against Jews"

The admitted shooter in the Poway synagogue shooting told a 911 operator right after the massacre that he pulled the trigger to save white people from Jews. 

As a white person, I never saw Jewish people as dangerous, but people who shoot people based on some crazy notion about their group identity are the ones of whom to be afraid.

A judge was expected to rule Friday whether a 20-year-old former college student should stand trial on charges of firing an assault rifle inside a synagogue, killing one woman and injuring three, including a rabbi and an 8-year-old girl of whom he believed the world needed to be saved from.

The suspect who admitted to the shootings at the Southern California synagogue last spring was heard on a 911 recording played Thursday at a preliminary hearing that he did it to save white people from Jews. The hearing was held to determine whether the trial should go forward. I think that would be a good idea.

The shooting took place at the Chabad of Poway synagogue on the last day of Passover.

“I’m defending our nation against the Jewish people, who are trying to destroy all white people,” the scumcrumpet, whose name will not be used here, is heard saying on the 911 call. He told the 911 operator he believed he had killed people and gave detailed descriptions of the San Diego intersection where he was parked shortly before he was taken into custody.

He never explained, nor gave any examples, how Jewish people are trying to destroy anyone.

The FBI reported that hate crimes increased by 17% in 2017 and the largest spike was anti-Semitic hate crimes. In the DOJ 2017 Hate Crime Statistics it was reported that there were more than 7,100 hate crimes and they were motivated mostly by race/ethnicity with religious bias following right behind. 

The FBI report shows there was a nearly 23% increase in religion-based hate crimes. There was a 37% spike in anti-Jewish hate crimes and this led the statistics for religious groups.

The recording was played at the hearing where witnesses also included a combat veteran who confronted the suspect and a medical examiner who described the wounds of the woman who was killed.

The alleged shooter, 20, has pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder, and an unrelated arson charge at a mosque. The murder charge, classified as a hate crime, would make him eligible for the death penalty if convicted, but prosecutors have not said what punishment they will seek.

Oscar Stewart, an Iraq combat veteran, testified that as the gunfire erupted he moved toward the suspect and screamed at him. The shooter dropped his rifle and ran away like a frightened coward.

“People were falling over each other. It was chaos,” Stewart said. “I screamed (to everyone) ‘Get down! Get out here.’”

He explained that he saw the shooter in the lobby fire two rounds and then walked toward him.

“He was firing in front of me … I was paying attention to the rifle,” Stewart said.

As the gunman struggled to reload, Stewart relied on combat training to yell at the assailant to try to rattle him, and rattle him he did.

“I told him I was going to kill him … I screamed it out really loud. I kept screaming at him,” Stewart said before the suspect dropped the rifle and ran.

During the 911 call, the shooter admitted, without prompting, that he would leave his AR-15 rifle on the passenger seat and step out of the car once law enforcement arrived, and became agitated that police had yet to arrive.

“You guys are taking a long-ass time,” he is heard saying.

San Diego Police Officer Jonathan Wiese testified that when he arrived the alleged shooter got out of the car, kneeled to the ground when ordered, and allowed himself to be handcuffed.

“His first statement was, ‘How’s your day going?’” Wiese said. He said the white supremacist then asked if he knew “what the Jews have done to our race.”

Weeks earlier alleged shooter and obvious coward tried to burn down a mosque in Escondido, where seven people on a spiritual retreat were sleeping, according to an affidavit. They awoke to flames and managed to extinguish the fire.

The suspect allegedly scrawled the name of the person suspected of carrying out shootings at two New Zealand mosques that slaughtered 51 people earlier this year, so the left didn't have President Trump to blame on that atrocity.

In a posting on the dark web, the alleged shooter wrote: "As an individual, I can only kill so many Jews."

The day prior to the synagogue shooting, the suspect legally purchased an AR-15 rifle from a San Diego gun shop, according to federal charges. According to Rep. Shiela Jackson Lee (D-TX) the AR-15 fires 50 mm rounds, so not only can it kill people, it can take out entire synagogues, mosques and Hindu temples.

Jackson Lee's claim that the AR 15 is extremely heavy would only hold true if 6.5 to 7.5 pounds is considered heavy. One of the selling points to the AR 15 is its lightness and handling.

These are the people who many on the left rely on to provide them with accurate information regarding gun control issues.

O'Rourke: 'If by a miracle I'm elected, I'm coming for your fully semi-auto weapons of war'

Beto's secret signal to white supremacists

The following is satire but frightfully close to the truth.

Extreme leftist, multi-millionaire and beta economic husband with alpha wife, Robert Francis O'Rourke [aka Beto to appeal to the Hispanic voter] said that if there was a snowball's chance of him becoming President, he would confiscate tens of millions of fully semi-automatic scary looking weapons of war from law-abiding Americans, and would do it at gunpoint if necessary.

In a fit of fake rage and flappy arms O'Rourke shouted, "Ola amigos y amigarettes.  ¿Que pasa?" 

He quickly realized he was speaking in Charlottesville, Virginia and most of the people there don't speak broken Spanish. He continued in English with strong arm emphasis: "I will not stand for f***ing weapons of mass children killings to remain in the hands of NRA members and others and I don't give a s*** if the person who owns one of these sinister baby killers is law abiding or not. We're coming for his guns. Bank on it, mother******s!"

O'Rourke, who is barely polling better than a glass of water with a "D" on it, at a whopping 2%, is doing his best to sound edgy and cool, although he has given up riding in on his skateboard as he fires up a fatty. Remember, he's the cat that raked in a zillion dollars for his Senate campaign and lost anyway. Perhaps he would have had a better chance if he showed some respect to the U.S. Constitution, especially the Second Amendment.

O'Rourke who started out bright and shining like a glowing candle, has fluttered and sputtered out like a wooden match in a hurricane. But he isn't worried, he claims, because "the American people are going to wake up to the fact that I am the only one who can beat Trump at his own game, and if it comes right down to it, if he insults me on the debate stage after I win the Democratic nomination, I'll punch his f*****g lights out."

O'Rourke has been using recent tragedies to gain a foothold in his flaccid run for the White House and has showed us all how cool and edgy his is by dropping f-bombs, mf-bombs and a word that means excrement while flapping his arms or doing Nazi salutes to secretly gain the white supremacist vote.

And will someone please tell Bobby that there's no such thing as a fully semi-automatic weapon.

BREAKING: Potential Walmart attack stopped by good guy with a gun

An off-duty firefighter with a legal carry permit stopped a possible attack from going down at a Missouri Walmart. A 20-year-old man arrived at the store with a rifle, body armor and over 100 rounds of ammo.

"His intent was not to cause peace or comfort to anybody that was in the business," Lt. Mike Lucas with the Springfield Police Department said. "In fact, he’s lucky to be alive still to be honest."

Although it's not yet clear what the man's intent was, Lucas said: "We definitely have some crimes here."

Lucas said that there may have been a Facebook live posted by the suspect and that law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation and looking through the suspect's social media. But in any case, the guy is in big trouble.

He seems to be a copycat operator inspired by the El Paso massacre. This is why it's wrong to post photos, names and manifestos of the shooters.

KOLR news anchor tweeted: "20-year-old man with rifle, handgun & body armor arrested at Walmart on Republic. SFD Police say he had 100+ rounds of ammunition. Off-duty firefighter with concealed carry gun held him at gunpoint until officers arrived about 3 minutes later."

The Springfield Police Department said in a statement:

At approximately 4:10 p.m. Springfield Police Officers were dispatched to 3150 W. Republic Rd. to a Walmart Neighborhood Market. An armed white male in his twenties was detained by an armed off-duty fireman until officers arrived on scene and took the suspect into custody. No injuries were reported and no shots were fired. At this time, the investigation is on-going and we are working to determine his motives.
The incident comes after a white supremacist terrorist massacred nearly two dozen people in a domestic terror attack at a Walmart in El Paso last Saturday in which the terrorist targeted Latinos.

Guess who's being blamed for the Walmart shooting

Just like the left would like to have the government take on all of the responsibilities of our lives, they want to make President Trump responsible for the behavior of a crazed mass shooter who killed 20 and wounded 26 in an El Paso Walmart on Saturday morning.

Predictably, the Democridiots jumped on the "Blame Trump for All Bad Behavior in America" bandwagon, even before all of the dead were removed from the scene. It's their go=to knee-jerk reaction because their actual ideas are untenable promises designed to get votes from a naive public.

And to blame anyone for the violence of another individual is not only stupid, it's immoral. Notice how quiet the left and the media was when a Bernie Sanders supporter shot up the Republican baseball game a few years ago, seriously injuring Steve Scalise.

Two immoral nonessential Democrats faced sharp criticism on social media Saturday after attempting to link the massacre to President Trump.

Sen. Amy ["the staff-abuser"] Klobuchar (D-MN), one of many socialists and Democrats hoping to block Trump's bid for a second term in the White House, made her remarks at a labor forum event in Las Vegas.

“The individuals who do the shootings are responsible," Klobuchar said, stating the obvious, "but I do think Trump's rhetoric has fueled more hate in this country.”Klobuchar, never letting a horrible tragedy go to waste, tweeted for gun reform legislation.

"Today innocent people—families—went to that mall in El Paso," she tweeted dramatically. "Some of them never came home. The U.S. House has passed common sense gun safety legislation. It is long past time to pass it in the Senate. The question to ask: Whose side are you on? The NRA’s or the people’s."

So not only is it President Trump's hatred that fueled the shooter, it's also the fault of the National Rifle Association because they teach gun safety and responsible gun ownership while advocating for the inalienable rights of the people under the U.S. Constitution.

Next we have Beto. An upward-bound loser who is also hoping to win the Democratic nomination for the 2020 presidential election and promises the country that he will eat dirt and say something in broken Spanish if he loses his bid.

O'Rourke, whose real name is Robert Francis, not Beto, also blamed the president for the shooting while speaking Spanish and English in El Paso, which he represented when he was in Congress and later lost to Sen. Ted Cruz in a senatorial bid.

"He is a racist, and he stokes racism in this country," O'Rourke told reporters, as he stoked anti-Trump hatred in this country. "We've had a rise in hate crimes every single one of the last three years. During an administration where you've had the president call Mexicans rapists and criminals."While some on social media praised the candidates' comments, others criticized them for politicizing the shooting.

Actually, the Texas violent crime rate increased in 2015, possibly due to the serious decrease in the state's police force. with a police-to-population ratio that is the lowest in the nation.

But O'Rourke is to facts as oil is to water.

So people took to Twitter to comment on Klobuchar and O'Rourke:

“Amy! Thank you for all that you do and we need more! This president needs to be held accountable for these deaths and this carnage. He is complicit, he is an accessory to this crime as he instigates hate amongst his followers,” one willfully blind supporter tweeted.

Another responded to Klobuchar:

“I see you blamed President Trump as usual for supposed hate crime in shootings in El Paso GMAFB you Democrats always trying to get a Political over this BS. You have had years to fix the gun violence but you and all of congress can’t work,” one wrote.

One user said that Klobuchar is the one spouting hateful rhetoric.

“Ms klobuchar enough, don’t blame President Trump your hateful rhetoric fuels hate so just because your running for President,” the Twitter user wrote. "Better yet get on your knees and ask God for forgiveness since the Dems have taken God out of everything the devil is dancing.

"@BetoORourke Could you stop the politics long enough to be respectful to all that have been affected by this horrendous act of violence. R.E.S.P.E.C.T." another user tweeted.

At last week's presidential debates, Klobuchar said that she supports an assault weapons ban, but didn't explain what an assault weapon is--apparently, any weapon that fires as a semi-automatic weapon is an assault weapon in her mind. In actuality, a military-style assault weapon is one the fires automatically and usually contains a selector switch to allow it to fire semi-automatically. If you don't know the difference between these two functions, you probably shouldn't be discussing gun control. Klobuchar doesn't seem to know.

In the United States, automatic weapons [aka machine guns--those that keep firing as long as the trigger remains depressed] are already banned. A semi-automatic weapon requires a trigger pull for each round fired, but if you're reading Brain Flushings, you probably already know that.

Klobuchar also said that she would have universal background checks for gun buyers. Not many conservatives are against that, but let's not kid ourselves, the Democrats want total gun confiscation. And if this happens, only law abiding citizens will give up their guns while the lawless will keep them; only the lawful will be disarmed.

Klobuchar also criticized the president, saying he hadn't done enough in response to a shooting in Parkland, Fla., that left 17 people dead in 2018, but she did not criticize President Obama for the 156 mass shooting incidents that occurred during his watch in which four or more people were killed, not including the shooter. In total, there were 1,187 victims shot, 848 were killed, and 339 were shot and injured.

In 54 percent of cases, the shootings were related to domestic or family violence. In nearly half the cases--42 percent--the shooter showed warning signs before the shooting that indicated they posed a danger to themselves or others. Over a third of the shootings--34 percent--involved a shooter prohibited from possessing a firearm. The vast majority--63 percent--took place entirely in private homes.

So what is the solution? Here are a few ideas:

1. Background checks on all firearm sales. This should be a no brainer to prevent the wrong people, from buying guns.
2. Strong domestic violence laws to keep guns out of the hands of abusers.
3. Red flag laws that allow family members and law enforcement to seek at least a temporary removal of guns from those people who have exhibited recent dangerous behavior.

Some folks think that restricting magazine capacity to limit the number or rounds shooters can fire without reloading is also a good idea, but it takes just a few seconds for a practiced shooter to pop in another magazine and start shooting again.

The president reacted to the El Paso shooting on Twitter, writing, “Today’s shooting in El Paso, Texas, was not only tragic, it was an act of cowardice. I know that I stand with everyone in this Country to condemn today’s hateful act. There are no reasons or excuses that will ever justify killing innocent people....”

As this is being written, I have just learned of another shooting in Dayton, Ohio in which 9 people were killed, I believe. You know the words to the song the Democrats are going to sing, as usual.

But yes, some things need to be done, but gun confiscation or attacking the NRA are not any of those things.
