Virginia Prosecutor Tells Gun Ban To Pound Sand, Reminds Everyone The Second Amendment Is Still A Thing

Ryan Mehaffey, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Virginia prosecutor, is taking a hard-line stance against what is an "unconstitutional" new gun ban signed by far-left Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger.

Comrade Spanberger, who has been slipping in the polls amid criticisms of her socialist/progressive policy agenda, signed a new bill last week banning the future sale and manufacture of "assault weapons," including many semiautomatic rifles, pistols and shotguns. The law also bans the future sale of magazines with a capacity of more than 15 rounds, because she thinks people don't carry more than one magazine nor know how to reload.

The move caused immediate backlash from many Virginians and raised new Second Amendment violation concerns. Rather than protest, however, Mehaffey, who serves as the commonwealth attorney for Spotsylvania County, is drawing a line in the sand and flatly refusing to enforce the ban.

With the bill set to take effect this July ahead of America’s 250th anniversary of independence, Mehaffey sent a letter to Spotsylvania Sheriff Roger Harris, instructing him that the ban is "unconstitutional and cannot be lawfully enforced."

Virginia Democrat Gov. Abigail Spanberger is drawing Republicans' ire and a potential Justice Department lawsuit on her latest moves against the Second Amendment. I would say that she needs to be removed from office, but I won't.

A statement released by Spanberger’s office called the assault weapons ban a "critical step toward protecting families, communities, and the law enforcement officers who serve them." It also puts miscreants who would terrorize or otherwise commit crimes with firearms at a distinct advantage over those of us who want self-defense protection of our homes and businesses. But worse, it goes against the U.S, Constitution and is totally illegal.

Spanberger remarked she signed the bill into law "because firearms designed to inflict maximum casualties do not belong on our streets." She forgot to mention how firearms can prevent or minimize casualties by the time law enforcement arrives.

These are the same dolts who talk about 'gun violence' as if the gun operates on its own.

The leftist governor added that "while the General Assembly chose not to adopt my amendment that specifically carves out certain firearms frequently used for hunting, I will work with the patrons to clarify this language."

In response, Mehaffey said in an interview with Fox News Digital that the law "is striking at the core of the militia system that existed in Virginia."

According to Mehaffey, the Second Amendment is not just an assurance of personal freedoms, but also a safeguard for a community’s ability to defend itself through a 'well-regulated militia.'

"Our founders were careful to make sure when they drafted our founding document, that the ultimate right of the people was preserved to defend themselves and to defend their community," he explained. "So, the linchpin of the constitutional analysis is going to be does this instrument have some reasonable relationship to the preservation or efficiency of a regulated militia."

Mehaffey argues that Virginia historical tradition and legal precedent requires citizens own firearms for the public defense, saying, "The second amendment may not mean that you are allowed to have a nuclear weapon, but what it does allow you to have is a basic infantry weapon."

Mehaffey argues that in Virginia, historical tradition and case law precedent not only allow citizens to own firearms but even require them to arm themselves with the weapons of a basic infantryman for common defense. In the Founding Fathers’ time, Mehaffey said the standard issue was a musket and 20 rounds. Today, the basic infantry weapon in the U.S. military is the M4A1 carbine equipped with a 30-round magazine. And let's not leave out the idea that extra magazines are provided to our war fighters.

Comrade Abigail Spanberger

"The second amendment may not mean that you are allowed to have a nuclear weapon," he laughed. "But what it does allow you to have is a basic infantry weapon."

"That sort of weapon is the core of what's protected by the Second Amendment. Not necessarily a nuclear warhead, but a rifle that you can take out and form either a fire team or a company to defend yourself and to defend your community."

Spoken like a true 'grunt'.

Mehaffey is not alone in his stance. In addition to what he characterized as the "overwhelmingly positive" response from his community, Smyth County Commonwealth’s Attorney Phillip Blevins, an Air Force veteran, has also refused to enforce the bill, arguing it is unconstitutional. The ban is also facing lawsuits from gun-rights groups, including the NRA, Firearms Policy Coalition and Second Amendment Foundation.

Blevins told Fox News Digital that "ultimately, courts will continue to address these issues, and I respect the role of the judiciary. But as the elected Commonwealth’s Attorney for Smyth County, I will continue to stand for what I believe the Constitution requires, without apology or hesitation.""My position is not based on politics. It is based on constitutional fidelity," he continued, adding, "The Bill of Rights either means something, or it does not."

"As Commonwealth’s Attorney, I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of Virginia. That oath is not situational, and it does not change based on politics, headlines, or pressure from either side of an issue."

Mehaffey believes he and those standing beside him on this issue will ultimately prevail."The Second Amendment is the supreme law of the land, both in the U.S. Constitution and the analog in the Virginia Constitution," he explained. "So, whatever law is passed by the General Assembly is not going to have the ability to supersede the Constitution."

While he has gotten a lot of personal attention for his stance, Mehaffey emphasized that, "I want nothing more than to fulfill my office with honor and to be a good servant to the people that elected me to represent them and to stick up for their rights."

"That's what I'm trying to do," he continued, adding, "I would expect any government official to remain faithful to the Constitution and to discharge their duties as servants of the people in the same way that I have."

In other news, Spanberger's office is reportedly working on a follow-up bill that would ban pointy sticks, stones, and angry words, just to be safe.

House GOPers win in effort to overturn Biden's 'unconstitutional' collateral damage allowing rule

US House of Representative Republicans kicked the Biden administration's federal regulation on handguns with collateral damage stabilizing braces to the curb. The GOP voted in favor of the NRA-backed resolution that overturns Biden's rule and thereby reduces the chances of an errant bullet striking an innocent person.

The measure, H.J.Res.44, nullifies the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) rule that regulates stabilizing braces for pistols and prevent the ATF from reintroducing the same rule in the future. In other words, if a good guy with a stabilizing handgun brace shoots at a bad guy, the chances are greatly reduced that the good guy will strike an innocent bystander with his/her unstable gun because real life isn't like John Wick.

45 degree angle hits target 45% of the time as casing flies up your nose

Pistol braces are accessories that can be attached to the rear of a gun to make it easier and more accurate to fire with one hand – the accessories are often used by disabled veterans and other Americans. The ATF rule categorizes pistols with braces as short-barreled rifles, which require a federal license to own because they wanted to bust the testicles, aka balls, of law abiding Americans.

The resolution passed nearly along party lines Tuesday evening at 219-210, with two Democrats voting in support and two alleged Republicans voting against the measure. The NRA, which has been fighting the pistol brace rule since it was first floated in 2021, celebrated the measure’s passage "to block this unlawful rule."

"The ATF’s pistol brace rule is a clear abuse of power and could turn millions of good Americans who lawfully own these devices into criminals overnight," Randy Kozuch, executive director of the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action, told Fox News Digital in a statement. "The NRA applauds the U.S. House of Representatives for passing Reps. Clyde and Hudson’s resolution to block this unlawful rule and prevent ATF from issuing a similar rule in the future. The NRA is putting its full weight behind fighting the action by supporting H.J.Res.44 and challenging it in federal court."

Obama blasts away

"This arbitrary act is yet another example of the contempt the Biden Administration has against gun owners and proof they’ll stop at nothing to strip away every Americans’ right until gun ownership is a privilege for only the elite," Kozuch wrote.

If it were up to Democrats, the only firearms we would be allowed to use would be the trusty old blunderbuss, a fashionable item around the time of the drafting of the U.S. Constitution.

House Democrats who voted against the measure tried to make us believe that the rule could save lives, citing the use of pistol braces by mass shooters. The term for this kind of thinking is known as 'idiotocracy.'

The pistol brace rule was finalized in January, and Americans were given until May 31 to register their firearm with the ATF or remove the accessories from their weapons. Those who do not comply with the regulation could face up to 10 years' imprisonment or $10,000 in fines or both, especially if they're white or not gay or trans, according to the ATF.

Earlier this week, the White House said Biden would be told to veto the measure if it reaches his desk, but would not specify by whom.

Baldwin still claims he didn't pull the trigger in "Rust" shooting that killed Halyna Hutchins

The FBI concluded after months of testing that the gun Alec Baldwin held and aimed at Halyna Hutchins when it went off and killed her, needed the trigger to be pulled in order to fire. But Baldwin insisted he didn't pull the trigger and nothing was is fault.

Baldwin was handed the loaded gun and was told it was not loaded. He didn't check to ensure this and failed to follow the simple rule that is taught by the NRA, the military and anyone who knows anything about firearms: treat all firearms as if they are loaded.

Baldwin appeared on Fredo Cuomo's YouTube extravaganza, "The Chris Cuomo Project," where he claimed the gun that went off and killed Ms, Hutchins, a cinematographer for "Rust," happened when he was practicing a technique known as "fanning." And just like that, the violent gun went off and shot her and the guy standing behind her.

Baldwin, a self-described violent gun expert said, “If you pull the hammer back far enough … the hammer didn’t lock … it would fire the bullet without you pulling the trigger.”

It turned out the FBI experts disagreed. They concluded that with this gun, the trigger had to be pulled.

Baldwin said that a safety officer told him it was safe to do this since the weapon was “cold,” meaning that it was not loaded with bullets. For someone who knows as much about firearms as a blowfish knows about astronomy, that was good enough for him.

“Everyone on set knows what happened that day,” Baldwin insisted.

Yes. They know that he was holding a gun that he ASSumed wasn't loaded because he was told that, and he aimed it at Halyna Hutchins and the gun went off and killed her. This is what they know.

Alex Baldwin demonstrated the “fanning” technique that he says set off the gun on the set of “Rust” last October.

“Everyone who was there knows exactly what happened and exactly who is to blame.”

Everyone but him.

Baldwin’s latest cry from the heart comes just days after his lawyer scrambled to defuse the damning results of an FBI report that said the gun, a F.lli Pietta 45 Long Colt Revolver, could not have gone off without being deliberately fired.

“The FBI report is being misconstrued,” the lawyer, another self-proclaimed firearm expert said in a statement.

While Baldwin admitted that he was anxious to learn if the New Mexico DA will pursue criminal charges over the accident, he acknowledged that “the real tragedy” was Hutchins’ death and especially how it might ruin his career.

“I am not the victim here,” he said, as he played the victim.

The conversation took a bizarre turn when Baldwin tried to illustrate what he believes is the media’s skewed perception of his actions.

“If George Bush’s mother Barbara fell through the ice on a pond and I waded into the pond and saved her life, they’d say I groped her. They’d say I squeezed her breast while I was pulling her out of the pond,” Baldwin insisted.Cuomo and Baldwin bonded over their experience of media disparagement.YouTube/The Chris Cuomo Project

Alec Baldwin discharges prop gun killing one, injuring another: latest info on incident

Had he taken even one NRA firearms safety course, anti First Amendment actor Alec Baldwin, 63, would not have discharged a prop handgun on a movie set that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, and seriously injured Joel Souza, 48, the writer and director of the film they were doing at the time. Baldwin would have treated the gun as if it was loaded, even when he believed it wasn't.

That's basic handgun safety.

According to the Santa Fe County Sheriff's office, the shooting occurred at the Bonanza Creek Ranch movie set where an independent film "Rust" was being filmed, which stars Baldwin.

Juan Rios, a spokesman for the sheriff's office told the Alburquerque Journal that scene being filmed involved the use of a prop firearm," which discharged.

Since the fatal incident occurred, an eyewitness of the shooting came forward.

Halyna Hutchins

Evidently, a bullet was discharged that struck Ms. Hutchins and went through her body and struck Souza in the clavicle. The set was immediately locked down and an ambulance and helicopters arrived taking Souza and Hutchins to the hospital but the latter died en route in a helicopter.

Meanwhile, Baldwin appeared to be in shock but was composed enough to imply that he was handed a "hot gun." The witness said he kept repeating, "In all my years, I've never been handed a hot gun."

Had he taken an NRA gun safety course, he would have treated all guns as if they were "hot guns," meaning that they were loaded with real ammunition.

Baldwin was also taken to the hospital to meet with the people he victimized but he didn't know Hutchins had died on the way.

No matter what anyone thinks about the carelessness of the prop person who handed Baldwin the gun, had he taken an NRA weapons safety training course, it would not have happened.

Let's see if Baldwin tries to blame the gun rather than the person firing it. Perhaps he will even more vehemently advocate for gun confiscation and gun control, but even if that had been the case prior to the incident, Hutchins would still be dead, because Alec Baldwin had never been handed a "hot gun" before this hot gun was handed to him.

Obviously Baldwin did not intend for this to happen and he should not face jail time. But he needs to understand that all guns are loaded. Always. Even when they aren't.

"Rust" is done.

Biden: "Rational" gun 'policy' is to ban '50 clips in a weapon' and more gibberish

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden knows as much about weaponry as Alexandria Obviously-Comatose knows about psychocypernetics and the branches of government.

Regarding guns, he believes we need a "rational policy" that ensures people cannot have "50 clips in a weapon," which illustrates that he doesn't know a clip from a round, a round from his butt, and his butt from AOC.

"Middle class Joe" as he claims people call him, added that a person would need a lot more than an AK-47 to take on a tyrannical government. He made his brilliant observations on the New Hampshire campaign trail while discussing why children learn active shooter drills in schools, saying, 'because we're unwilling to have a rational policy that says you cannot have 20, 30, 40, 50 clips in a weapon."
The Biden Special
And like the broken clock analogy that's right twice a day, the clip analogy is correct--you absolutely cannot jam even 2 clips in a weapon at the same time.

Biden also tossed out the claim: “I now have over 58% of the NRA members acknowledging that you cannot own an assault weapon. There is no need for it. You can’t have a magazine that is more than 10 rounds in it.”

The NRA told Daily Wire that Biden's claim is pure bullcrap because as a private organization, they do not give out private information on its members, and certainly not for polling purposes.

At a different point in his spectacular town hall, the Democratic rear-runner said, “Those who say, ‘The tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots’ – a great line, well, guess what: The fact is, if you’re going to take on the government, you need an F-15 with Hellfire Missiles. There is no way an AK-47 is going to take care of you if you’re worried about the government knocking down your door.”

F-15's don't use Hellfire missiles in their arsenal. Helicopters and drones are the main users of this air to ground missile. But c'mon, man . . . it sounds macho.

Biden’s remarks drew instant mockery online from critics who attacked his abject ignorance on weaponry.

Federalist co-founder Sean Davis wrote: “Joe Biden is so dain-bramaged that he thinks ‘The government will bomb your house if you get out of line’ is an A+ argument against the 2A in the state whose motto—’Live Free or Die’—was coined by a militiaman who personally defeated the British Empire.”

Biden’s ignorant gun control policies includes banning semi-automatic firearms and “magazines that can hold multiple bullets in them,” which effectively would ban the overwhelming majority of firearms.

Not only do Biden’s views on guns go against the U.S. Constitution, they are also non-nonsensical and only work in favor of miscreants who own illegal firearms.

For example, last September Biden attacked Texas Governor Greg Abbott for signing a bill into law that made it easier for Texas to carry firearms into their places of worship.

“Dealing with firearms, it is irrational, with all due respect to the governor of Texas, irrational what they are doing,” Biden told reporters on September 2.

“On the very day you see a mass shooting … and we’re talking about loosening access to have guns, to be able to take them into places of worship, it’s just absolutely irrational. It’s totally irrational.” Which is why Biden is an idiot who is consistently falling in the polling because it was Jack Wilson, a good guy with a gun, who saved lives in a church shooting several months later.

But maybe the Democrats don't want to stop mass killing. After all, every one of them agreed that killing a mass murderer terrorist, Cassem Soleimani, was something we should not have done.

Resistance to Va. Democrats' anti-Second Amendment is soaring

Gov. Ralph Northam

Amendment 2 - Right to Bear Arms. Ratified 12/15/1791.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Virginia is not sitting on its hands after the state passed an extreme anti-Second Amendment agenda. Now nearly 90 percent of the counties have declared themselves to be sanctuary cities for the right to bear arms in response to Democrats' anti-Constitutional, anti-freedom agenda.

Over 100 cities, towns and counties have passed resolutions in preparation for leftist Democrats taking over the state and indicated a strong desire to confiscate semi-automatic firearms from law-abiding citizens.

“The National Rifle Association (NRA) has voiced support for the movement on social media but has not been actively organizing its supporters to attend local meetings,” The Free Beacon reported, adding, “thousands of people [are] expected to show up for a pro-gun rally in the state capital next month.”

Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL), a pro-Second Amendment group, is planning a massive protest on January 20, 2020, on the steps of the state Capitol.

VCDL President Philip Van Cleave told The Free Beacon that Democrats in the state do not “realize the magnitude of what they’re looking at,” and that this massive resistance that has sprung up across the state has “been like a freight train” in terms of the how hard of an impact it has had on state politics.

“[Democrats] truly don’t understand it,” Van Cleave said. “They think that money’s coming in from the National Rifle Association, some big organization is behind this. It’s not that at all. It’s mostly grassroots. Localities have passed this that weren’t even on our radar. It’s like a grass fire that the grassroots had started and then we went in and threw some more gasoline and a match on it to make it burn even brighter.”

I only wish the protesters felt this strongly about abortion in the state after the Gov. Ralph Northam made it clear that he's all for killing babies even after they are delivered as long as the mother and doctor make him or her comfortable and have a nice chat as to what they want to do with the baby.

“We’re gonna say you’ve got the partisan map then you’ve got the gun-owner map,” Van Cleave added. “In essence, this is a referendum saying ‘no more gun control.’ This is clearly not what the election was about and these people want to make sure you understand that. You need to stay away from their gun rights.”

Now they know what Democrats are all about. This has been their plan all along.

The movement has picked up so much momentum that Virginia Democrat Attorney General Mark Herring, who has openly admitted to wearing racist blackface, [as the governor did yet both refused to resign] said that it is his opinion that the new sanctuary cities mean nothing in legal terms.

“It is my opinion that these resolutions have no legal effect,” Herring said on Friday. “It is my further opinion that localities and local constitutional officers cannot nullify state laws and must comply with gun violence prevention measures that the General Assembly may enact.”

Gun violence protection? From law-abiding citizens who have the right to self-defense?

The issue has become so intense in Virginia that one Sheriff in the state has promised to deputize his citizens if Democrats go through with their extreme anti-freedom balderdash agenda that denies citizens their constitutional rights.

Debra Messing gets pushback after her "sick" tweet against McConnell and Dana Loesch

Debra Messing is getting a well-deserved backlash for her hateful tweet directed at Mitch McConnell and Dana Loesch over the mass shootings. You see, the left tends never to blame the shooter for his actions, but pretends he's a puppet of conservatives, unless, like the Dayton, Ohio shooter, he is politically on the left. Then his politics is irrelevant, like sawdust brain Chris Cuomo said.

Messing's tweet appeared to incite violence, according to many on the right, against Sen. Mitch McConnell and former NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch. She had gone all out on Twitter after the two mass shootings but found herself in trouble after she tweeted a response to another user's tweet--some have called her response 'sick.'

The original sick tweet read:
“If I get killed in a mass shooting please cremate me and throw my ashes into Mitch McConnell’s and Dana Loesch’s eyes while I’m still smoldering,”
 Messing, a 50-year-old leftist replied:
"THIS. Yesssssssssss."
Some users who saw the tweet were quick to call out the actress for her remark.

One user posted:
“Debra -- people from all political leanings consume your shows and enjoy you and them. Why would you take a deep dive into the disgusting by reacting like this to a horrific tweet? Take a breath. Get out of the Hollywood mindset for a second and be a person. Thanks,”
Another, less kind user tweeted:
“I loved Will & Grace ( it should have been the Jack & Karen show ) but you’re obviously a sick person. Please seek help. Seriously.”
Other users wrote:
“You have an amazing opportunity to be an inspiration to people, yet you use your voice in this way. Seems like a waste. God bless!”
"Cremate the remains of her fallen acting career."
"I don’t like Mitch, but this is in very poor taste."
"Love your acting skills but who you really are is very disappointing. Thanks for showing us the real you!"
Just to name a few.

Messing, however, wasn't going to allow negative input and rational reasoning to interfere with her feeble attempt at relevance. She doubled down calling for gun control and for Republican leaders to take action throughout the weekend.

Then she did her nails and ate a Tide pod.

Warren wants to hold gun manufacturers 'Strictly liable for compensatory damages'

Democratic presidential candidate and fake Cherokee Native American Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) released her  "plan for gun violence prevention," which was published on Medium, a blogging platform.

Her plan makes as much sense as it would to hold her and her tribe responsible for American deaths in the Revolutionary War when the Cherokee fought alongside the British.

Her plan with its 30 bullet points regarding gun control, many of which are plagiarized from other Democrat leftists, include a 30% "increased excise taxes on firearms" and a 50% increase for ammunition. She would also ban "high capacity ammunition magazines," and lengthen waiting periods for firearm purchases.

But the real insane point is for having "gun manufacturers" to be "strictly liable" for how their products are used. Why not also do that with knife manufacturers, fertilizer producers and automobile manufacturers? It's the same logic.

Warren’s naive plan states that by increasing excise taxes, the United States can "reduce new gun and ammunition sales overall and to bring in new federal revenue that we can use for gun violence prevention and enforcement of existing gun laws."

As for the new federal assault weapons ban, Warren’s plan would "require individuals already in possession of assault weapons to register them under the National Firearms Act." The plan would also enact a firearms buyback program that would impose "penalties" on gun owners who don’t register or turn in their "assault weapons."

Eventually, when gun owners refuse to give up their Second Amendment rights, she would do what Australia has done and have a mandatory gun confiscation assault on lawful gun owners.

Warren doesn’t specify what "high-capacity" means, but states that Congress should determine "reasonable limits on the lethality of these weapons," which would presumably include a decision regarding what constitutes "high-capacity." In other words, what would be the acceptable number of innocent people a person should be able to shoot before law enforcement comes with their guns to stop him. Hopefully that bad guy with a gun wouldn't bring along any illegal high capacity magazines or speed loaders because it's against the law.

The craziest aspect of Warren’s plan is the section on liability, which states in part that Americans should be able to "hold the manufacturer of the weapon that harmed them strictly liable for compensatory damages to the victim or their family."
Gun manufacturers make billions in profit by knowingly selling deadly products. Then they are let completely off the hook when people take those deadly products and inflict harm on thousands of victims each year. State tort law already recognizes that certain types of products and activities are so abnormally dangerous that the entities responsible for them should be held strictly liable when people are injured. Congress should codify that same principle at the federal level for guns by creating a new private right of action allowing survivors of gun violence to hold the manufacturer of the weapon that harmed them strictly liable for compensatory damages to the victim or their family.
Yes, commercial jets are highly dangerous weapons in the hands of those who would use them as such. So are hammers, nail guns and baseball bats. It isn't the weapon that should be blamed, as Warren and her ilk would have it [in order to take away our guns], it's the user who must be blamed.

Warren’s plan also demands a nebulous investigation into the National Rifle Association (NRA), the reporting of multiple firearms purchases, the creation of a "federal licensing system," raising the age limit on firearm purchases, banning the sale of firearms accessories, including suppressors, the implementation of so-called "universal background checks," limiting the number of guns bought by Americans to one a month, enacting "extreme risk protection laws," making colleges and universities "gun-free zones," and providing an annual $100 million to "conduct research into the root causes of gun violence and the most effective ways to prevent it."

A vote for Fauxcahontas is a vote for a power grab by the federal government.

In her conclusion, Warren writes that the "conversation about gun violence in America is shifting," and proceeds to blame the NRA, as well as President Donald Trump for his "extremist rhetoric" and "dangerous policies."

The NRA teaches gun safety. The mass shooters didn't belong to the NRA. Blaming the NRA for the shooting deaths of innocent people is like blaming the American Automobile Association for road deaths. The only reason the NRA is a powerful Second Amendment advocate is because gun owners support them, not the other way around.

Warren has a plan for "everything," but in most cases fails to specify what that plan is and what effect it will have on the country. Like Bernie Sanders' "oydeahs" her ideas are pipe dreams and unicorns farting rainbows, which are merely designed to get votes.

Intelligent Americans will see through the false promises.

Should Joe Biden be kicked out of the Democratic Party for making finger-hand rifle

Photo: AP/Nati Harnik
Former potty-mouth Vice President Joe Biden was born too soon--he should have been born around 1990 instead of 1890 so that he could ask for like Alexandria Obviously-Comatose's hand in roommating and like delve into deep intellectual discussions about solutions to the world's problems.

But Biden has never met a sentence he didn't gaffe. The guy is a veritable gaffe-gusher and sometimes it isn't even about what he says, but rather about what he does.

The photo [above] shows barely legal lawyer turned VP, turned presidential hopeful yet again, at the campus of the University of Nebraska-Omaha, from last February. In it he is mimicking shooting a gun as he gaffes at the Chuck Hagel Forum in Global Leadership. Some Democrats, particularly the ones running against him in the 2020 presidential campaign, believe making finger guns or hand rifles should immediately disqualify him from remaining in the Party.

"Here's what I think of people who support the Second Amendment," he said, as he took aim at NRA members and other Second Amendment advocates. "Boom!" he yelled.

On Monday, Sleepy Joe, not unlike his Democratic role model, Maxine Waters, suggested that people need to get physical if they don’t like the way Republicans are doing things.

Boom!

While at the Moral Action Congress of the Poor People’s Campaign in Washington, D.C., [which is not meant to be an oxymoron, but it comes close] Biden was being asked by MSNBC’s Joy "I Hate Gays" Reid how he would get past a majority Republican Senate set to kill anything he wants.

“How would you get past either a majority Republican Senate in which Mitch McConnell was determined to kill all of these ideas or even a Mitch McConnell in the minority who repeated the consistent filibustering when you were vice president and anything that came from the Obama-Biden administration Mitch McConnell considered dead on arrival?” asked Reid.

At first, Biden’s response was pretty reasonable because he didn't have to use anything more than motor memory.

“Joy, I know you’re one of the ones who thinks it’s naive to think we have to work together,” Biden said while looking Reid directly in her left eye. “The fact of the matter is if we can’t get a consensus, nothing happens except the abuse of power by the executive.” [He didn't mean Obama this time.]

Biden noted that the second option was a “brass knuckle fight.” And if that doesn't change hearts and minds, perhaps shooting us would help him get things done politically.

To his credit, Biden isn't quite as simple-minded as Alexandria Obviously-Comatose, but still, it's too bad that he's so old and she's younger than his socks.

Gillibrand lies about guns, the NRA, and gets called out

People who a clueless are clueless of their cluelessness. Democratic presidential candidate who is currently polling in the high zeros is Sen. Kirsten "I'm Flexible" Gillibrand (D-NY). She has taken more positions than the Kama Sutra and is a lot less interesting.

Gillibrand told a string of lies about U.S. firearm laws and the National Rifle Association. Maybe she was just "shooting from the hip" but she doesn't seem to know what she was talking about in the Fox News town hall on Sunday hosted by Chris Wallace. And while Wallace is not a fierce conservative, he called her out on her statements.

Gillibrand has repeatedly lied about firearms and the NRA on the campaign trail, and she repeated many of her debunked lies on Sunday night because she, like most people in her party, believe all liberals are low-information voters.

"The NRA is the worst organization in this country," Gillibrand said. "They care more about their profits than the American people. They care more about selling guns to someone on the terror watch list or someone with grave mental illness or who has a violent criminal background."

The NRA is a non-profit organization and they do not sell firearms, so Gillibrand is either a liar or a moron--but of course, both things can be true at the same time.

Gillibrand's claim that NRA wants to sell guns to "someone on the terror watch list" is laughably false. FiveThirtyEight reports:
But civil liberties and gun rights groups are critical of the list. ... But the ACLU, citing secret documents released by the journalism site The Intercept, was critical in 2014 of the growing numbers of people on the watch list, saying there are no clear standards by which to determine who is placed in a database that can be used for religious and racial profiling. The rights of American citizens to contest their possible inclusion on the list is infringed because of the list’s secrecy, the ACLU said.
Gillibrand twisted what the NRA actually said. They don't want terrorists being allowed to buy guns, but they don't believe the terror watch list is the way to go to stop them because some names on that list are there by mistake. In a statement on Wednesday, the group said that “due process protections should be put in place that allow law-abiding Americans who are wrongly put on a watch list to be removed.”

Also, the law is very clear. According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, violent criminals are already prohibited from owning firearms, as are people who have "grave mental illness," assuming that they have been "adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to any mental institution."

The problem is not legal firearms, it's the illegal ones that kill the innocent victims most of the time.

Later during the town hall, after Gillibrand made additional false claims, Gillibrand made false claims about the Trump administration.

"Remember, after the shooting in Las Vegas [Trump] said, ‘we’re going to ban the bump stocks.’ Did he ban the bump stocks? No! Because the NRA came crashing down."

She lied.

The Trump administration did ban bump stocks after the shooting and the ban just went into effect earlier this year. The NRA did nothing to intervene on the issue.

"The NRA is lying to the American people, it is not about the Second Amendment. … [The NRA] wants to make sure an abuser who has a restraining order against him can buy a weapon," Gillibrand, who was lying to the American people, falsely said.

As stated in its bylaws, the NRA exists to "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, especially with reference to the inalienable right of the individual American citizen guaranteed by such Constitution to acquire, possess, collect, exhibit, transport, carry, transfer ownership of, and enjoy the right to use arms, in order that the people may always be in a position to exercise their legitimate individual rights of self-preservation and defense of family, person, and property, as well as to serve effectively in the appropriate militia for the common defense of the Republic and the individual liberty of its citizens."

Wallace called out Gillibrand for her total screwup on the issue of guns and said, “It sounds a lot more like it’s politics than principles… how do you explain the change?”

When she was a representative in a conservative district, Gillibrand loved the NRA and supported gun rights, which the NRA reminded her of on Monday.

Maybe we should call her "Pander Bear."

Swalwell afraid to debate Dana Loesch on NRA and 2nd Amendment

Let's face it, Eric Swalwell is a frightened coward. Like Alexandria Obviously-Communist who attacked Ben Shapiro after he challenged her to a debate by claiming he was stalking her, Swalwell is afraid to debate an intelligent woman on the Second Amendment and the NRA.

Specifically, the young career politician is scared to go up against Dana Loesch, the NRA spokeswoman and radio host after she called him out on his statements against the advocates of the Second Amendment and gun safety known as the National Rifle Association.

Swalwell has been running mainly on an anti-gun platform, which obviously found him squarely on the opposite side from Loesch. The two have exchanged many tweets over time, however, Swalwell initially tried to pretend he didn’t know who Loesch was, causing the internet to correct the coward's demonstrably false claim.

Swalwell has apparently dropped the pretense now and is taking the “why are you so obsessed with me” route of denouncing his opponents, just like AOC did with Ben Shapiro.

To add onto that, Swalwell, who has never held a real job outside of politics, attempted to dismiss Loesch as beneath him to debate. He said that he doesn’t deal with “mouthpieces.”

Instead, the coward said he wants to debate NRA president Oliver North, proving that being a sexist is okay as long as you're a Democratic sexist.

👋🏼 Ms. Loesch — I see you’ve spent another day blowing up my Twitter. Thank you for following! But here’s the deal, you’re an @nra mouthpiece. I don’t aim down, so I don’t debate mouthpieces. But send me your president, @OliverLNorth. I’ll debate him anywhere. #EnoughIsEnough https://t.co/hu6eVkMIuL

— Eric Swalwell (@ericswalwell)

Loesch corrected him, noting that she actually didn’t spend all day blowing up his timeline and sent him a few tweets as a response to tweets he sent her in the first place. Loesch also pointed out that by refusing to deal with her and asking for a man, by the rules of the left, Swalwell was being highly sexist.
Where's Eric?
Also, if he thinks she's beneath him, why is he afraid that she'll destroy him?Does he have enough self-awareness to realize he's just an empty suit?

I didn’t spend a day, I tweeted you several times responding to *you* a couple days ago, so by your own logic you blew up MY mentions all day. Your response is pretty sexist — you’ll debate a man but not me, a woman, got it. I’m a mom and a lifetime member. https://t.co/AeohleKGQo

— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) April 19, 2019

Swalwell ignored Loesch and instead called the NRA leadership cowards for not coming forward to debate him. In psychology, this is what's known as projection. You may know it as the pot calling the kettle black, but that might make you a white supremacist in the eyes of the left.

Here’s a prediction: the @nra is afraid to have its president debate me. They talk so tough on Twitter, but when challenged to a debate to defend their advocacy for unrestricted weaponry it’s just crickets from @OliverLNorth. #NoFearhttps://t.co/mxtPpeKnXM

— Eric Swalwell (@ericswalwell) April 19, 2019

Loesch, however, once again offered to be Swalwell’s Huckleberry, adding “unless you’re afraid to lose.”

I’m your Huckleberry.

Unless you’re afraid to lose.

¯_( ツ)_/¯ https://t.co/0yMLiCBQQp

— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) April 19, 2019

Not  surprisingly, Swalwell ran away, or at least hasn’t attempted to rebut Loesch. He really is scared--it's as obvious as AOC's refusal to debate Shapiro. Both of these characters know they'd lose miserably so they project their fears on the object of those fears.

Loesch, as the spokeswoman, is more than willing to step up to the plate and actually give Swalwell the debate he wants, and if there’s one thing Swalwell wants to avoid at all costs, it’s an actual back and forth with someone who is his intellectual superior.

Loesch’s jab that he’s afraid to lose wasn’t just a play on Swalwell’s ego to debate her. It was bringing what Swalwell knows would be the end result to the forefront and letting everyone know that he knows it.

He really is scared and realizes that debate would ruin his chances [which are slim to none] in the 2020 campaign.

Anti-gun 'Marxist' arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot cops

A self-proclaimed Marxist punk was arrested in Washington state on charges of violently threatening law enforcement officers on social media, a brilliant act of covert bravery. In fact, according to Newsweek  Jaydin Ledford, 23, "also claims to speak to the trees"

Ledford posted several messages targeting Washington police, and one included a death threat to Spokane Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich. "Ozzie Knezovich is gonna get a bullet in his skull," Ledford's FB post stated.

The fine, young, communist posted multiple death threats against police after members of the force publicly denounced gun control bill (I-1639) which expands background checks and prohibits anyone under 21 from purchasing a semi-automatic rifle, among other prohibitions. The NRA has filed a lawsuit against the law claiming it's unconstitutional [which it is].

"I=1639 is law. [S]heriffs that are non compliant will be shot. By me," Ledford wrote on Facebook, possibly unaware that NOT shooting law enforcement officials is also the law.

The lad also posted "I really want to kill a police officer."

Sheriff Knezovich said he found the threats "ironic."

"This is an individual who wants to ban guns -- except he wants to kill people," Knezovich said, possibly forgetting that the guy talks to trees.

Anyway, Ledford was arrested on federal charges of cyberstalking.

Newsweek writes:
“According to the statute, cyberstalking includes 'any course of conduct or series of acts taken by the perpetrator on the Internet that place the victim in reasonable fear of death or serious bodily injury, or causes, attempts to cause, or would be reasonably expected to cause substantial emotional distress to the victim or the victim’s immediate family.'"
Sheriff Tony Hawley that Ledford was also charged with harassment and the threats were made known to the sheriff's office by a "concerned citizen."

On Feb. 4, Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones joined more than a dozen of his counterparts from around the state declining to enforce the initiative [of I-1639] until it’s cleared at the federal level.

“I am instructing my deputies not to enforce Initiative 1639 in Grant County while the constitutional validity remains in argument at the federal courts level,” he stated in a release. “I swore an oath to defend our citizens and their constitutionally protected rights. I do not believe the popular vote overrules that.”

If it does pass the federal threshold, Jones said he would partner with his prosecutor’s office “to ensure the best plan moving forward.”

“As long as I am Chief of Police, no Republic police officer will infringe on a citizen’s right to keep and bear arms,” said Republic Police Chief Loren Culp.

DNC potty mouth Perez upset voters are influenced by G-d

Speaking at the National Anti-Semite Summit
Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chaircreep Tom "Potty Mouth" Perez complained on Wednesday that voters are influenced by what they hear in church, specifically, the word of G-d.

Perez claimed Republicans have an advantage because "people buy" what they hear in church--he doesn't.

"All that mumbo-jumbo about Jesus and how he died for our sins? That's garbage. S**t, nobody's gonna die for nobody's sins now or ever. I don't give a damn what anybody thinks," Perez told a group of fellow atheists.

“And we all have to make sure that we’re fluent in what’s happening across our ecosystem so we can come to each other’s defense because we need to build a bigger orchestra. They’ve had a big orchestra for some time and they’ve got the megaphones to amplify it, whether it’s Sinclair at the local level or Fox at the national level,” Perez said at an event for Demand Justice, a leftist political group that wants to take people's money and redistribute it to people who didn't work for it.

They are considering changing their name to "Demand Free Stuff."

“I’ve learned this from the outreach we’ve done at the DNC. Why aren’t we penetrating, I ask? And I had someone in northwest Wisconsin tell me: ‘You know what? For most of the people I know, their principle sources of information are Fox News, the NRA newsletter and the pulpit on Sunday.’ And it should come as a surprise to no-one that our message doesn’t penetrate,” Perez continued, spittle on his lips as he pontificated, bloviated and palpitated at the podium.

[Actually, much of the information that more and more Americans of good will are getting, is coming from Brain Flushings, the Daily Caller, and other conservative blogs and online media platforms. But they sure are afraid of Fox News.]

“It should come as a surprise to no-one that that person has elevated the issue of courts to the top because that person on the pulpit is saying ‘ignore everything else that this person has done and is doing, we have to focus on one issue of Roe vs. Wade.’ And people buy it. Because that’s their only source,” Perez asserted. "If we want to keep abortion legal, so that every woman has the right to kill her unborn baby, we need to do better than the freaking churches across the nation are doing."

As Perez left the podium he could be heard using an entire lexicon of dirty words.

David Hogg: a snot nose kid who thinks he's not

David Hogg shows off his new tee shirt
David Hogg has a surname that's befitting someone who grabs the spotlight from those who were killed that deserved it.

The leftist schmuck-weasel said on Morons Spouting Nothing But Crap (MSNBC) over the weekend, after the tragic Tree of Life Synagogue murders, that Americans should elect politicians that DO NOT go after the perpetrators of evil.

The narrow-minded cretin made the statements on "Kasie DC" after an raging anti-Semite shouted "Death to all Jews" and proceeded to kill 11 and injured six more on Saturday morning.

Hogg believes we should leave him alone. Maybe he was having a bad day.

"This Congress in this election on November 6, Americans have the chance to go out and save lives and elect politicians that don't try to divide and conquer but try to unite and conquer the challenges that we face as a people, that attack the sources of evil and not the people that are perpetrating it," the moron said.

"Because in reality, none of us are Democrats or Republicans, we're Americans that have to face the same issues every day and we're not going to get anywhere by blaming other people," Hogg bloviated. "We have to go after the sources of evil and not those perpetrating it, contrary to what the president likes to do."

If Hogg is the young voice of liberal reason, the liberals are in deep trouble.

The low information activist about not blaming people who kill people based on what group they happen to be in, came after the turd spent the whole weekend attacking the National Rifle Association (NRA) and President Trump over the synagogue shooting.

The garbage mouth hog wrote on Twitter: "F*ck the NRA vote," only he didn't use an asterisk because he's a big boy now and his mommy allows him to act like one.

He added: "Saying the NRA has nothing to do with gun violence is like saying big tobacco has nothing to do with lung cancer."

By conflating the two, Hogg will get others like him to believe that there's a connection in the analogy. Smoking tobacco causes lung cancer--it doesn't prevent it.

Shooting a rifle or handgun causes a bullet to leave the weapon. Where it goes depends on who is doing the shooting. It can be for good or evil, but it is nothing like tobacco, which is always harmful to the user. Guns can save lives and is estimated to have saved many thousands each year.

Had any of the worshippers at the Tree of Life synagogue had a gun, there would likely been fewer senseless deaths. You're not going to take guns away from white supremacists.

And how in the world has the NRA caused the death of people and contributed to gun violence? The NRA teaches gun safety and advocates for the Second Amendment.

Hogg is merely a glory-seeking twerp.

Holy Mackerel! The Parkland shooter asked for help prior to massacre--was denied

This is what incompetence looks like
In a new report it was revealed that the 19-year-old gunman who shot up the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School this past February 14th, that killed 17, had asked for help months before going on his rampage.

The school failed to act on his request, but somehow the NRA still got the brunt of the blame.

The report was released Friday after Broward Circuit Judge Elizabeth Scherer ordered Broward County Public Schools to release its report on the young gunman.

The Daily Beast reported that the gunman was informed that "he could transfer to Cross Creek, a school tailored for students with special needs; sue the Broward school district; or stay at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School without any special counseling."

So it appears he took the path of least resistance, but that was not the case.

Another newspaper, the Sun-Sentinel, noted the investigation found the school district "did not follow the requirements of Florida statute or federal laws governing students with disabilities" in two specific instances:
School officials misstated [the shooter's] options when he was faced with being removed from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School his junior year, leading him to refuse special education services.
When [the shooter] asked to return to the therapeutic environment of Cross Creek School for special education students, the district "did not follow through," the report stated.
In the Daily Beast article, it said the shooter was identified by age three as having developmental delays and was "reportedly stripped of counseling services and left to fend for himself as a 'regular student' after the school district failed to inform him that he "was still entitled to special assistance at Stoneman Douglas if he chose to stay."

A few months after the school district failed to act on his request for help, the gunman dropped out of school and immediately bought the rifle that he would soon use to carry out one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history.

Don't blame the NRA; blame everyone involved in this shooter's case who heard the warning signs and refused to act on them.

Hogg's security: locked and loaded

How do you spell hypocrisy? Easy. D-a-v-i-d H-o-g-g.

The 18-year-old publicity hog who attended the Parkland, Florida school where a student murdered 17 people last February, has become the voice of the left in their call to take away our Second Amendment rights to defend ourselves.

Hogg now has a book deal, publicists and armed security.

But he's walking along in the streets of New York City, a town with extremely strict gun laws. Why would he need armed security?

Sean Di Somma snapped photos of Hogg and tweeted:
"Here's @davidhogg111 in NYC today with armed guards and a bunch of publicists. #neveragain #Hypocrites."
Hogg simply responded with:
"Love you too."
The exchange next involved Hogg defenders claiming the book he's writing will have all proceeds go to anti-gun causes, not to Hogg. One defender, Jeff Walsh tweeted:
"The book proceeds are going to gun reform charities, not to David or his sister, so yeah, the more he promotes the book, the more it supports his cause (albeit not his wallet)."
Then the Hoggster tweeted:
"This ^^^^, you know @SeanDiSomma you should really read the book if you did you would know we're pro second amendment."
Di Somma replied:
"I'm going to take a pass. I'm not really into books pushing shallow agendas not written by the listed author. Good luck to you though; if this sells well, surely there's a nice advance for the next one. #capitalism"
But perhaps the best tweet [although there were some great ones] was from a person in Georgia:
"But @davidhogg111 I thought armed guards were not an answer to security? Who is Paying for him? @Everytown? @georgesoros? What makes you Special or better than anyone else in NYC?" --GA Patriot (@GA_Patriot912)
Never letting a tragedy go to waste, Hogg has been in the spotlight since the school shooting. He has gone to rallies to fight against the National Rifle Association--an organization that promotes gun safety and security checks for firearm purchases. He has called for boycotts of companies that advertise on Fox News and other media that support the Second Amendment and disagree with his leftist ideas.

Hogg has also called for a political revolution, but evidently he wasn't taken seriously enough to have one evolve. After all, he's an 18-year-old who can't spell very well, uses profanity to substitute for his lacking of vocabulary, and who failed to get into UCLA and other schools to which he applied.

In his previous life, Hogg may have been a member of Hitler's Nazi Youth movement.

Dummy Debbie compares NRA to terrorist groups

Debbie does illegal 'gun-finger'
Debbie Wasserman Overbite Schultz (Duh-FL) cannot see significant differences between ISIS, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Al Shabaab, Hamas, Hezbollah and the NRA.

She characterized the NRA as "just shy of a terrorist organization" on Tuesday, in response to the recent appointment of its new president, Oliver North, who contended that the Parkland, Florida students pushing stricter gun-control legislation are engaging in "civil terrorism."

Speaking of shy, Schultz is "just three cards shy of a full deck."

"The NRA is kind of just shy of a terrorist organization," she told HuffPo Tuesday. "They have done everything they can to perpetuate the culture of violence that we have in our country with the spread of assault weapons across the nation."

The blame really lies on the shoulders of our nation's founders who believed that it is a person's God-given right to defend him/herself. In fact, as I write this Friday morning, there is a shooting in Santa Fe, Texas in progress and the one hope I have is that there is someone with a gun to stop the guy with a gun who it is said to have gone into a classroom and shot a young woman. [The story is unfolding this very minute so the facts are fuzzy.]

Oliver North depicted the Parkland survivors as criminals, accusing them as relying on "intimidation and harassment and lawbreaking" in an interview he had May 9th with the Washington Times.

"They call them activists. That's what they're calling themselves. They're not activists--this is civil terrorism," North said.

The congress-cretin took issue with North's rhetoric that the NRA is facing opposition the likes of which has "never been seen against a civil rights organization in America." He also characterized the gun-control activists as reminiscent of "the terrible days of Jim Crow," led by the Dixiecrats.

To compare the NRA, an organization that teaches gun safety as a top priority, and whose members are virtually all law abiding citizens, as "just shy of a terrorist organization," shows just how little she knows about the NRA and terrorist organizations.

The NRA follows the law; terrorist organizations do not. The NRA has never been accused of killing anyone but its members and other gun-carrying citizens have stopped crimes and protected themselves from crimes such as rape and armed assaults.

Terrorist organizations kill indiscriminately, and to make such a false comparison of them with the NRA merely shows the desperation of the left to discredit decent gun owners and the value of the U.S. Constitution.

It's also fake virtue-signaling. By blaming the gun, the left doesn't need to deal with the real problems we face, such as the breakup of the nuclear family, where having a father in the home, or a man in the life of male teens, makes a huge difference in whether a young man gets involved with crime.

The problem isn't the guns or knives or vans that plow into crowds, it's the person behind those tools. The NRA simply teaches us how to use the first on the list responsibly and safely.

And let's not forget, Debbie has problems with her own shady past.
