NY Gov. Hochul pleads with New Yorkers to return from Florida, admits taxes chased them off

New York Governor Kathy Hochul did her best impression of a broke ex who suddenly wants the old flame back this week, basically pleading with the wealthy “captives” she’s already scared off to please, pretty please, come home and bankroll her endless parade of socialist wish-list items.

In a fireside chat with Nick Reisman at the Politico New York Agenda summit, Hochul finally uttered the words conservatives have been screaming into the void for years: high taxes make rich people leave. It’s human nature, guys.

Shocking development, I know.

After treating the state’s high-net-worth crowd like a bottomless slot machine for far too long, the governor had her come-to-Jesus moment: “I need people who are high-net-worth to support the generous social programs that we want to have in our state … cut me the checks, if you want to be supportive, but maybe the first step should be to go down to Palm Beach and see who we can bring back home because our tax base has been eroded.”

Translation: The well has run dry, the golden geese have flown south to a place with zero state income tax and a governor who doesn’t treat them like escaped prisoners.

Remote work changed everything,” Hochul whined, sounding exactly like a warden who just noticed the jailbreak in progress. “There were people who could only work in an office in Manhattan . . .  and they were captives to our state. They were going to stay. We saw that that’s not the case.”

She even copped to Wall Street eyeballing Texas, not because the Lone Star governor is more charming, but “they’re going there because of the tax rate.”

Despite this rare flash of self-awareness, Hochul’s big-brain fix isn’t slashing the bloated spending or dialing back the “generous” programs that created the exodus. Nope. She’s reduced to begging “patriotic millionaires” to “cut me the checks” and floating the idea of a recruitment safari in Florida. “Maybe the first step should be to go down to Palm Beach and see who we can bring back home because our tax base has been eroded,” she said, showing us again how much she knows about human nature.

Yeah, good luck selling that timeshare pitch. Why swap a beachfront cabana and year-round sunshine for a guilt-trip voicemail from Albany demanding tribute?

The governor also burned plenty of oxygen griping about the Trump administration, pinning everything from gas prices to her own flailing green-energy fantasies on the former president. She admitted her eco-mandates are “scaring the crap out of everybody” with utility bills going through the roof, yet she’s still peddling an “all-of-the-above approach” while begging for “breathing room.”

In the end, Hochul remains firmly in denial, clinging to her vision of a socialist paradise paid for by other people’s money. She’s just now discovering, way too late, what Margaret Thatcher tried to tell everyone: eventually, you run out of other people’s money.

Classic liberal arc: spend like there’s no tomorrow, chase away the payers, then act surprised when the math doesn’t math.

Hey, Kathy, human nature is a bummer.

Biden administration shielded him from deportation and now he's arrested for brutal beach attack

The Biden administration waved this guy in, shielded him from deportation, and now he's been arrested for trying to drown a woman at a Florida beach. This is the kind of story that makes you wonder what exactly "border security" meant under the old regime under a brain-addled POTUS.

Conservative outlet, The Daily Wire, broke the exclusive: Venezuelan illegal immigrant Said Alexander Hernandez Gonzalez, 26, allegedly targeted a woman who was simply walking and chatting on the phone with her sister around 11 p.m. last Thursday at Tiger Shores Beach in Stuart.

Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek laid it out during a Monday press conference, and it's as brutal as it sounds.

This guy was paroled into the U.S. in 2023 courtesy of the Biden circus, then handed temporary protected status, which basically slapped a "do not deport" sticker on him, per the Department of Homeland Security's confirmation to the outlet.

Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin's statement: "Said Alexander Hernandez Gonzalez, a product of the Biden administration's open-border policies brutally attacked a woman on the beach and attempted to drown and kill her."

McLaughlin continued: "She bravely fought back and survived this wicked attack. ICE has lodged an immigration detainer with the Martin County Sheriff's office, and because of Florida's cooperation with ICE, this sicko will never walk American streets again. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the U.S."

Hernandez Gonzalez allegedly came up from behind, grabbed her by the throat, shoved her into the ocean, and held her under in a savage 3-5 minute struggle. The sheriff described how she fought like hell: "During that struggle, she punched him, she grabbed his groin area trying to get him to release her."

He just kept going: "He said he just held her down until she went limp," Budensiek said. Thinking he'd finished the job, the Venezuelan bolted, leaving her unconscious on the beach. Miraculously, she came to and flagged down a nearby officer to report it. Deputies scoured the area for two days with nothing.

Then Sunday night rolls around, a woman calls Port St. Lucie PD saying her boyfriend is "suicidal." Cops show up, and Hernandez Gonzalez starts confessing that he'd murdered a woman on a nearby beach.

Martin County detectives swooped in, confirmed that he's their guy. He admitted he was at the beach smoking marijuana and drinking vodka when he spotted her, got angry for whatever twisted reason, attacked, and tried to drown her. He told investigators he "stopped when he believed she was dead." Before fleeing, he grabbed her cell phone and chucked it into the ocean.

Then he went back to his car, downed more weed and booze, and took off. And when asked if he felt any remorse? "When asked if he was remorseful, Hernandez Gonzalez stated he felt nothing."

He's now facing attempted murder charges.

This is the predictable fallout from policies that prioritized catch-and-release over actual enforcement. The victim thankfully survived, but the fact that this monster was here at all, shielded from removal, says everything about the prior administration's priorities. Under the current setup, at least ICE is on it, and Florida's playing ball.

Florida Hits Execution Milestone: 16th This Year for a Monster Who Raped and Drowned a 6-Year-Old in '79

I believe that if there's one thing that separates a functioning justice system from a revolving door for the worst of the worst, it's the willingness to follow through on a death sentence. Florida just did that Thursday night, putting Bryan Frederick Jennings, 66, to death by lethal injection for the 1979 abduction, rape, and drowning of little Rebecca Kunash, a six-year-old girl snatched right from her bedroom while her parents were in the next room.

It's the 16th execution in the Sunshine State this year, shattering any previous record and sending a message: Justice delayed might be inevitable, but justice denied ain't gonna happen on Ron DeSantis's watch.

Jennings was pronounced dead at 6:20 p.m. ET at Florida State Prison near Starke, after a three-drug cocktail did its work. When the warden asked if he had any last words, the guy who spent over four decades gaming the system bellowed a single, defiant "No." No remorse, no plea for mercy, just "No."

The victim's family kept their distance from the media scrum afterward, which is their prerogative after all these years. Florida Department of Corrections spokesman Jordan Kirkland confirmed it all went textbook smooth: "The execution took place without incident," he said. "There were no complications." In a world where everything seems to go sideways, at least this worked as advertised.

This makes 42 executions nationwide so far in 2025, per the Death Penalty Information Center, a nonprofit that's not exactly cheering from the rooftops for these executions, but facts are facts. That's the most since 2012, a sharp rebound from the dismal 11 in 2021, when the death penalty was basically on life support after peaking at 98 back in 1999. All 42 have come from 11 states, mostly in the South and Midwest where folks still believe in accountability.

Up in the leftist-run north? Zilch. And while President Trump has vowed to crank up federal executions, none have happened yet this year.

Jennings' saga is a masterclass in how the appeals racket turns "swift justice" into a bad joke. Convicted and sentenced to death in 1980, that got tossed on appeal. Same story with his second trial. It wasn't until the third go-round in 1986 that the third death sentence stuck, along with life terms for kidnapping, sexual battery, and burglary.

This baby-killer outlasted two of the prosecutors who nailed him, Rebecca's own dad, and four Florida governors since his first conviction. He even dodged a date with the needle in October 1989 when the state Supreme Court hit pause on four inmates the night before. Talk about nine lives.

The Death Penalty Information Center pegs the average death row stint at 20-24 years these days. Jennings' execution too forty-five. That's not justice; that's cruelty to victims' families.

Gov. DeSantis, who's been on a tear with this, nailed it at a news conference on August 12, in Tampa: "Some of these crimes were committed in the '80s. Justice delayed is justice denied. I felt I owed it to [victims' families] to make sure this ran very smoothly. If I honestly thought someone was innocent, I would not pull the trigger." DeSantis gets it: The endless legal limbo isn't mercy; it's a middle finger to the Rebeccas of the world.

Back on May 11, 1979, Jennings, a 20-year-old Marine on leave, yanked the screen off a little girl's window, snatched her, raped her, beat her, and dumped her body in a canal where it turned up hours later. I hate the fact they called his military service into play. I'm a former Marine and this guy was a total disgrace to the uniform and the nation.

[He will rot in hell.]

Cops nabbed him that same day on a traffic infraction, and the evidence was a prosecutor's dream: He matched the neighbor's description, his shoe prints were at the scene, his fingerprints on the sill, his clothes and hair were soaked. Case closed, except for the four-decade sequel of appeals, including a fresh one claiming a right-to-counsel violation after his lawyer croaked in 2022.

Florida's racked up 122 executions since the Supreme Court greenlit capital punishment again in 1976, with over 250 souls still cooling their heels on death row. Before this year, the state maxed out at eight per calendar. DeSantis flipped the script because, as he sees it, enough is enough.

Two more executions are queued up: Richard Barry Randolph on Nov. 20, and Mark Allen Geralds on Dec. 9. If they go off without a hitch, Florida hits 18 for 2025. A veterans' group piped up this week begging for clemency for ex-military types on the row, fair point actually, only 12% of Florida's death row wore the uniform. But seven of the 18 executed or slated this year did serve, including Jennings. Doesn't change the math on monstrous crimes.

In the end, this isn't about vengeance; it's about closure. For Rebecca Kunash's family, it's 46 years late, but better than never. DeSantis is delivering what too many blue-state DAs won't: The scales balanced, one horror story at a time. If that's "extreme," sign me up.

SHOCKER IN THE SUNSHINE STATE: TEEN MOM ON TRIAL FOR BABY’S DEATH SAID MURDER IS HER “FAVORITE” BIRTH CONTROL!

Brianne Moore, a 19-year-old college kid, is in the hot seat, charged with the unthinkable--killing her newborn baby girl and tossing her body in a dumpster like yesterday's leftovers. And if that isn't wild enough, text messages reveal Moore once bragged that her "favorite" birth control method was to "kill [the] kid."

Now that's some evil stuff.

Let's rewind to April 2024. Moore, then a student at the University of Tampa, claims she had no clue she was pregnant, or maybe she was just playing the denial card hard. Picture this: she's in her dorm bathroom, water breaks, and boom, she's giving birth right there on the bathroom tiles.

Hours later, the baby is dead, wrapped in a towel, and chucked into a MaKay Hall dumpster. This cold-blooded female seems to lack motherly instinct on some level. The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide caused by "asphyxia due to compression of the torso with rib fractures."

But there's more.

Seven months before this horror show, Moore was texting a guy named Quasim from her home state of Mississippi. The topic was about birth control options that sound like they came straight out of a true crime podcast.

Check out this exchange, per CourtTV:
Moore: "hey man sometimes you need a plan c"
Quasim: "plan a was condoms
plan b was the pill
plan c was to kill thr [sic] kid"
Moore: "plan c is my favorite"
I really don't care what anyone says; this is sick and goes against human nature.

Moore's lawyer, Jonah Dickstein, is screaming "context, people!" He says these texts were just casual banter about abortion laws, not a murder manifesto. Oh, and Quasim? Not the baby daddy, so don’t go there.

Moore's story was that she woke up on April 27, 2024, water breaking, totally shocked she was pregnant, [in spite of the fact that she was sexually active and likely didn't use birth control]. After popping out the baby in secret, she claims she laid the little girl down, took a shower (because priorities, apparently), and then noticed the baby wasn’t moving. No heartbeat, no cries. Moore says she panicked, took a nap (yes, a nap), and when the baby still wasn't breathing, she wrapped her up and dumped her outside.

So she didn't panic initially after the shower because she took a nap. It was only after she woke up that she noticed the girl was still not breathing, if you believe her.

The autopsy paints a darker picture: small hemorrhages in the baby's lungs and those nasty rib fractures. Now Moore’s staring down a 30-year sentence, slapped with charges like aggravated manslaughter of a child, child neglect, failure to report a death, and improper handling of human remains.

Her trial's been pushed to March, so we’re all left hanging on this chilling case. Was Moore a scared teen in over her head, or is there something sinister behind that "plan c" text?

This is going to be an interesting case to follow, but I suspect she'll never do 30 years, even though she deserves to.

What are your thoughts?

12,000 fewer babies aborted in 2024 due to Florida's 'Heartbeat Law'

In 2024, Florida saw about 73,710 abortions, down from 85,770 in 2023—a decrease of roughly 12,100, according to The Guttmacher Institute. Florida’s law bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, with exceptions for victims of rape, incest, or human trafficking, allowing abortions up to 15 weeks in those cases.

Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican, signed the heartbeat bill into law in April 2023. A November 2024 ballot initiative that could have overturned this law was rejected by voters. A 2022 lawsuit by Planned Parenthood challenged the state’s earlier 15-week abortion ban and could have blocked the 2023 law, but Florida’s Supreme Court ruled against it.

DeSantis strongly opposed the 2024 ballot initiative, warning that it would “allow abortion in Florida up until birth and will invalidate all pro-life protections in state law.”

South Carolina’s abortions dropped by 3,500 after enacting a similar six-week ban in 2023. Even states with fewer restrictions, like Colorado and New Mexico, saw about 2,400 fewer abortions from 2023 to 2024, per the report.

In contrast, Wisconsin’s abortions surged by 388%, from 1,300 to 6,100, between 2023 and 2024. Arizona, California, Kansas, Ohio, and Virginia each reported over 3,000 additional abortions in the same period.

Out-of-state travel for abortions decreased from 169,700 in 2023 to 155,100 in 2024, with Illinois, North Carolina, Kansas, and New Mexico seeing the most out-of-state patients, according to Guttmacher. Meanwhile, about 40,000 more abortions nationwide in 2024 were performed through online clinics prescribing abortion pills compared to 2023.

Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022, many states have tightened abortion restrictions, leaving legal limits to state discretion.

Democrat to Republican switch due to "failure to support Israel"

Kennedy's blonde sister?

Florida State Representative Hillary Cassel, who represented the 101st district since 2022, issued a statement Friday saying that she is leaving the Democratic Party to join the Republican Party. A lawyer, Cassel is the second Democrat to jump ship this month.

In the statement, Cassel said the Democratic Party does not support Israel and she went on to blast their progressive anti-Semites for condoning terrorism.

“As a proud Jewish woman, I have been increasingly troubled by the Democratic Party’s failure to unequivocally support Israel and its willingness to tolerate extreme progressive voices that justify or condone acts of terrorism.”

“I’m constantly troubled by the inability of the current Democratic Party to relate to everyday Floridians. I can no longer remain in a party that doesn’t represent my values.”

The announcement comes on the heels of another defection by a Florida Democrat, who shows that you don't have to be Jewish to hate Jew haters.

On December 9th, State Rep. Susan Valdés switched her affiliation from Democrat to Republican, bolstering the GOP’s supermajority in the former battleground state’s House of Representatives.

Former President and now President-elect Donald Trump praised Cassel.

“Congratulations to Hillary Cassel for becoming the second State Representative from the Great State of Florida to switch her Party affiliation from Democrat to Republican, once more expanding the GOP Supermajority in the State House!” Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social account Saturday.

“I would further like to invite other Disillusioned Democrats to switch Parties, and join us on this noble quest to Save our Country and, Make America Great Again – GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE. THANK YOU HILLARY!”

It's electric.

DeSantis admin orders state universities to disband pro-Palestinian student groups: it basically backs Hamas

Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's administration has linked a pro-Palestinian student organization to terrorism and ordering their state universities to ban this group from campuses. They say the organization backs the terrorist organization Hamas, and that's illegal.

Since the October 7th sneak attack by Hamas, Israel is fighting back with a ferocity, and this upsets Hamasshole supporters, such as the members oft he so called Squad and anti-Semites everywhere. A significant number of college students have expressed support of the terrorists, which resulted in an immediate censure from several Jewish academics and prospective employers who don't want to hire racist scumcrumpets.

Florida however, has taken the issue further and took a giant step of saying that Students for Justice in Palestine is supporting a "terrorist organization," which is saying the obvious out loud.

State university system Chancellor Ray Rodrigues wrote to university presidents on Tuesday at Gov. Ron DeSantis’ urging. The Chancellor directed them to disband chapters of SJP after the national group took the position that “Palestinian students in exile are PART of this movement, not in solidarity with this movement.”

“It is a felony under Florida law to ‘knowingly provide material support ... to a designated foreign terrorist organization,’” Rodrigues wrote. Hamas has been designated a terrorist group by the U.S. State Department since 1997.

DeSantis sent planes loaded with supplies and with the plan of returning Floridians in Israel who wanted to return to Florida. He didn't only limit the transportation of Floridians, but anyone who needed to return.

The Governor supported a special legislative session to impose new and tighter sanctions on the world's number one sponsor of terrorist along with Hamas: Iran. DeSantis expressed his support for Israel.

Thus far there is no clear proof that Iran was directly involved in the attacks, but it's obvious they approve of the slaughter of unarmed, innocent Jewish babies, children and their parents.

Students for Justice in Palestine has been on U.S. campuses for decades, with frequent protests calling for the liberation of Palestinians and boycotts against Israel. The loosely connected network says it has more than 200 chapters across the United States, because the people of the USA are naive, much like the idiots who belong to "Queers for Palestine," who are clueless about what would be done to them if they lived in Palestine.

Palestine Legal, a group that provides legal support for pro-Palestinian groups, said the ban on SJP is part of a broader effort by DeSantis to suppress freedom of speech on campuses.

What DeSantis is banning is not free speech, but a group that suppresses the free speech of Jews, and is known to assault them.

SJP has played a central role in a campus movement known as BDS, calling for the boycott, divestment and sanction of Israel over its treatment of Palestinians. They chant "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." This is a slightly covert call for the annihilation of all the Jews in Israel, and potentially the rest of the world.

Man caught before carrying out plans to shoot Parkland and other sites for "attention and fame"

The suspect

An insignificant loser from Florida planned mass shootings and stabbing sprees at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Okeechobee High School and a church, with the hope of becoming famous and gaining attention.

This is precisely why it's a mistake to name and picture these mentally ill individuals in the media, but the media only cares about selling their product.

Palm Beach County authorities charged the loser, 19, with making written threats to kill after a cop in Jupiter, FL conducted a traffic stop on Sept. 18th and allegedly found handwritten notes from the idiot detailing his plans.

The suspect was pulled over for a broken headlight and the cop asked for consent to search his vehicle and discovered "multiple, handwritten pages stating a plan to purchase firearms, and ‘kill everyone at OHS with my guns,’ which was later discovered to stand for ‘Okeechobee High School,’" an arrest affidavit filed earlier this month states.

It's a good thing the suspect doesn't have a good memory and had to write out his plans. Imagine the list: 1. buy a gum. 2. bye bullets for the gum. 3. get a knife with a sharp blade. 4. get bandaids in case I cut myself. 5. googal where OHS is. 6 googal where MSDHS is two. 7. get headlight fixed after spree.

The officer who made the stop spoke with the would-be mass killer who admitted that he was planning on killing an administrator at Okeechobee High School where he barely graduated last year as an English major.

"Xxxxxx was planning on executing the plan on his 22nd birthday January 2, 2026, at approximately 1130 hours. Once he had killed [the administrator], Xxxxxx wished to murder another 14 people, accounting to a total of 15 victims. After this plan was executed, he wanted to drive down to Miami, FL to a church named ‘El Rey Jesus’ and go on a ‘stabbing spree’ and murder another 10 subjects," the affidavit states.

The officer also located a bong and three filet-style knives in the idiot's vehicle during the traffic stop.

The suspect admitted that he had been having many thoughts about mass homicide and wanted to carry them out when he turned 22-years-old. He also admitted to having mental health issues which is obvious.

But what is most important is that the potential mass shooter wanted to kill in order to be significant, to be important and infamous. This should be a warning to all media outlets that putting out their photos and their names only encourages other sick individuals to become "copycat" perpetrators.

It's wildly wrong and should be avoided, even by smaller outlets such as Brain Flushings.

FL robbery suspect running from cops shot 8 times by good guy with a gun: "Swift end to dirt-bag's crime spree"

A robbery suspect who, if Barack Obama had a son would look like him, led Florida police on a reckless high-speed chase.

The suspect got out of the vehicle he was in and attempted to carjack a convenience store clerk who fortunately was armed. He shot the alleged scumbag eight times and ended the alleged miscreants alleged crime career.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post, that Qwinntavus Kwame Jordan walked into a Shell gas station in Flagler Beach and "alluded to having a firearm" which allowed him to walk out of the store with $90 in cash.

Police located Jordan’s car on I-95 and began pursuing him until reaching the Florida-Georgia line where authorities in Georgia took over the chase and spike stripped Jordan’s car at which point he began fleeing on foot.

According to the Facebook post, Jordan then "entered a nearby convenience store, brandished a firearm, and demanded the clerk’s car keys."

Jordan got into the vehicle and started to flee but crashed the vehicle through the front of the store and then "exited the vehicle and chased the clerk and a customer through the store and a struggle ensued."

"The clerk, who was now armed, shot the suspect approximately 8 times according to Georgia authorities," police said.

Jordan was arrested and taken to the hospital where he was said to be in critical condition because 8 bullets in one body is a lot to deal with.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and that the suspect was a fugitive wanted for armed robbery in Georgia at the time of his arrest.

"I commend our Real Time Crime Center team for quickly developing suspect information and his vehicle and thank all the agencies that assisted in apprehending this armed and dangerous fugitive," Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said in the press release.

"I also commend the Georgia store clerk that put a swift end to this dirt-bag's crime spree. If he survives his injuries, he should spend a long time in prison."

Alleged crime doesn't pay in the end.

Florida NAACP tells black folks to stay out of Florida

The Florida NAACP voted unanimously in favor of a travel advisory that tells African Americans what to do, which is not to travel to Florida. This lame proposal, which is, in effect, a recommendation to the national board of the NAACP will be voted on next month.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) supported and signed the "Stop WOKE Act," a central government tool to weed out critical race theory (CRT), and he also pushed the College Board to strip Marxist-based CRT elements out of its AP African American Studies course, because it is racist and anti-American, for starters.

Rather than debate the issues with the Governor's party, the NAACP is not up to the task, and like the snowflakes who scream and destroy at protests, they choose to censor debate because they claim it cannot solve political disagreements. Imagine what the really implies: they have no logical case to make.

“We encouraged more people to vote and that didn’t work,” Yahoo News quoted Hillsborough County Branch President Yvette Lewis as saying, “because extremist Republicans gained more power and this is where we’re at. We had to take a strong stand because it has gone too far.”

By "extremist Republicans" she means people with different political ideologies from hers.

It probably scares the NAACP since Florida's black population is increasing and the black- white achievement gap in learning is lower in Florida than it is in Democrat states: New York, Massachusetts, or California. This should have all people, especially black people, to question the motivations of the NAACP because it certainly doesn't seem to be something that favors black people.

Florida even has a lower rate of black incarceration than California, Delaware, Michigan, or Pennsylvania. And while racial income and poverty gaps in Florida do exist, but they are roughly average.

Telling black people to stay clear of Clearwater and all of Florida, merely shows the NAACP to be like most other institutions: an obviously partisan organization that does not have the interests of the people who they say the represent.

And like the case against former President Trump, it stinks.

DeSantis vs. Weingarten on Twitter over "book banning" lies

It's suspected that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) will run in the 2024 presidential primary where he will face off with former President Donald Trump. There's no question amongst GOPers that he would make a good, if not great candidate but Trump's popularity in the party is quite high so that would be a high hurdle for DeSantis to get over.

Anyway, the governor has been accused by liars and the low information left, that DeSantis lied about his anti-woke school policies, which, I repeat, are simply not true.

The head of America's Federation of Teachers, the second largest teacher's union in the country, is the woke Randi Weingarten. She shared a video of DeSantis who claims that the mainstream [i.e., left leaning] media is perpetuating a "hoax" by statoing that his Florida's public school policies constitute book banning.

Sleepy-face Weingarten suggested that DeSantis was lying and covering up the fact that indeed, book banning was taking place in the Sunshine State. She showed the video on Saturday consisting of a clip of DeSantis defending Florida's Department of Education (DOE) decision to pull explicit LGBTQ material from libraries that "10 year-olds can access." Somehow the Left believes that children should be able to access that information, just like the Left believes kids should be allowed to "transition" to the opposite gender without telling their parents.

The video clip cites Florida "standards" that permit the state DOE the power to do such a removal of that material, and expressed the governor's belief that "99% of parents" would agree with such a measure by removing those books from children's library shelves if they didn't believe the media that misleads them.

The way the media has attacked DeSantis is to imply that he wants to ban all books that are disagreeable to conservatives. This, of course, is nonsense. He was very clear in his messaging and only wanted specifically 'woke' books that are not appropriate for children to be removed from the shelves. But he noted that the mainstream media has characterized such a move as "book banning," and calls this a "book ban hoax."

DeSantis also mentioned how MSNBC made the claim that the Florida DOE forced a public school African Studies class to drop its woke agenda, characterizing this as the DeSantis administration "outlawing the study of slavery." More nonsense which he blasted as false, "Well if you actually looked at what our standards are, not only is it not prohibited, it’s required to teach that."

But Weingarten never lets facts interfere with her messaging. She commented on the video that DeSantis is lying about what he's doing, as her own teacher's union shovels millions to the DNC.

The union boss tweeted:
"[Question]: Did Fla teachers complain of book banning before DeSantis started his ‘anti woke’ crusade? Did we see pictures of tarps over classroom libraries? Were teachers threatened with felonies if they used the ‘wrong’ book? [Answer]: No. Now that he is being exposed. Now it’s a hoax."

But Weingarten removed the ability for users to reply directly to her post. Though prominent members of DeSantis’ staff, along with other conservative users were quick to call out Weingarten via retweet, accusing her of perpetuating the false narrative that DeSantis is embarking on a right-wing book-banning crusade.

This only proves Weingarten is not very social media savvy.

DeSantis Transition Team Co-Chair Scott Wagner went after Weingarten’s post, tweeting:
"1. @GovRonDeSantis empowered parents to complain about porn in school books. 2. Teacher unions put tarps so they don’t have to face reality. 3. Any adult for decades is subject to felony for showing pornography to children. 4. Turning off replies is the move of a coward."
At least when Joe Biden tweets, he doesn't disable replies to the posts, but it's also possible he forgot to do that.

DeSantis Press Secretary Bryan Griffin slammed the union boss, tweeting:
"And yet, the law that criminalizes the distribution of pornography to minors has been on the books for decades. It's as if there's a national group of activists who claim to be for education but instead amplify fake scenarios and false narratives for political gain."
DeSantis Deputy Press Secretary Jeremy Redfern shared a screenshot of drawings from one of the explicit books Weingarten accused DeSantis of banning. He captioned the inappropriate drawings, saying, "This is the type of book that Randi wants to provide to your elementary-aged child."

Journalist Jim Treacher turned Weingarten’s point around on her, replying, "Did they complain about book banning before you started falsely claiming this is book banning?

But the pithiest response was by Brendon Leslie, founder of local news outlet, Florida’s Voice News, who asked, "Why does the teachers union want to keep pornographic books in our schools?"

Maybe because it's yet another way the Left can make the rules and grab the power. Boys can be girls. Girls can be boys. People can be plural in their pronouns. Socialism is the new black.

The far left is mentally ill.

Halloween kiddy drag shows spark protests and threats

It's "Dragoween" time kiddies so tell Mommy and Daddy that you want to see men dressed up as cartoonish women while they have you sit on their bony laps and tell you stories of brave cross-dressers and their pronouns.

So how are your kids going to spend their Halloween--going door-to-door trick-or-treating' as they collect candy from strangers who may or may not have included a little bit of rainbow fentanyl as a trick? Or maybe you plan taking them to a drag show for children where they can be groomed into something they are not.

These so-called 'Dragoween' shows have sparked outrage, threats and protests in some states such as Florida, California and Oregon. For some reason, parents don't want their children being sexualized by guys dressed as whores. Can you believe it?

The events are touted as being suited for all ages and include slutty performances and story hours.

This week, drag show organizers in Orlando canceled a story hour, and others in Eugene, Oregon, called police to disperse violent protests at another.

In California, complaints have driven administrators at the Encinitas Union School District to disown a Disney villain-themed drag show occurring Saturday as part of a queer youth “Boo Bash.”

“This is adult entertainment, it’s not for children,” said Kimberly Fletcher, president of the parental rights group Moms for America. “What do these drag queens want from our children? Our kids need their innocence.”

There it is: what they want is your child's innocence--it's obvious.

Bob Witeck, president of the LGBTQYADDAYADDA+1 marketing firm Witeck Communications, says there’s no right way to advertise the events with different political groups “vying for the votes of suburban women” in next month’s midterm elections.

“Drag has been around forever, but we’re in a toxic political environment right now,” Mr. Witeck said.

No, the toxicity was created by the LGBTQ community by pushing their agenda onto our kids, into the schools and into the libraries. It's the disinfecting sunshine of the internet on these issues that have exposed these exposers.

He claimed that drag has “always been on the risqué side, with burlesque and innuendo,” but said most drag performers keep story hours clean for children, but that's bull crap. Children are supposed to be innocent and this is an assault on their innocence.

VP Harris wants to take 'equity' into account regarding Hurricane Ian relief

Harris dresses like a hatless flapper

When asked what she meant after stating that the Biden administration would take "equity" into account when providing natural disaster relief after Hurricane Ian made landfall causing mass destruction, Vice President Kamala Harris dodged the reporter's question.

Harris, who tends to be unprepared when asked actual questions, spoke on Friday after Ian hit Florida as a Category 4 storm, but only 2 mph below being a Category 5. As of this writing, 76 people have been confirmed dead.

Harris made her unsubstantiated comments at the Democratic National Committee's Women's Leadership Forum where white Democrat women virtue signal about systemic racism.

"It is our lowest income communities and our communities of color that are most impacted by these extreme conditions," Harris said. "We have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity, understanding that we fight for equality, but we also need to fight for equity."

So white home owners have escaped the wrath of the storm and no homes nor white lives were lost. Lucky break for white folk.

In a video obtained by Fox News Digital, when asked if she could clarify the comments, she had no answer to the question because her statement is total bull crap.

"Vice President, can you clarify what you meant about equity for hurricane relief," our babbling VP was asked.

Wet crickets.

Christina Pushaw, rapid response director for Republican Governor Ron DeSantis' campaign, tweeted:
"This is false. [Harris’] rhetoric is causing undue panic and must be clarified. FEMA Individual Assistance is already available to all Floridians impacted by Hurricane Ian, regardless of race or background."
On Friday, the White House said that it's working with Gov. DeSantis and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to provide aid to individuals who were impacted by Hurricane Ian.

DeSantis' office noted that the Governor suspended the state's fuel tax to ease the financial burden on Floridians, and he pushed for debris removal in areas where it's safe to return. Power has been restored to about 2 million residents as of Sunday by the 42,000 linemen working in the state, and they are working to restore an additional 800,000 accounts.

Over 1,600 people have been rescued from the storm as of Sunday morning by over 1,000 search and rescue team personnel. Pallets of food, water and ice have been delivered to local communities, including over 829,000 MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) and 3.8 million bottles of water.

For any federal official, especially a President or Vice President to say that "equity" should be taken into account when making life-saving decisions is preposterous and racist.

Winds of 135 mph and flooding waters don't care what the race, creed or religion is of the people it kills or whose home and property it destroys. Equity has nothing whatsoever to do with national disasters.

FL Gov, DeSantis suspends attorney for not enforcing abortion law, trans surgeries for minors

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) said on Thursday that  “effective immediately,” he is suspending leftist State Attorney Andrew Warren for refusing to uphold the state’s laws.

“State Attorneys have a duty to prosecute crimes as defined in Florida law, not to pick and choose which laws to enforce based on his personal agenda,” DeSantis said in a statement. “It is my duty to hold Florida’s elected officials to the highest standards for the people of Florida. I have the utmost trust that Judge Susan Lopez will lead the office through this transition and faithfully uphold the rule of law.”

It's hammer time!

A release from his office said that he has the legal authority to suspend Warren under Article IV, Section 7 of the Constitution of the State of Florida. In the lefties place he has appointed Susan Lopez, a woman who knows that she's a woman and can even define what a woman is, to serve as State Attorney for the period of suspension, which will hopefully be forever.

Lopez is the state attorney of the 13th Judicial Circuit. She stated that she has the “utmost respect for our state laws” and understands “the important role that the State Attorney plays in ensuring the safety of our community and the enforcement of our laws.”

So Lopez will intervene when, for instance, a 13-year-old girl decides she's a boy and elects to have her breasts removed and a fake penis to be constructed from her forearm.

Backed by numerous law enforcement and state officials, the governor argued in a Thursday press conference that Warren has repeatedly refused to enforce the state’s laws. [This seems to be a pattern with people having that surname.]
Governor Ron DeSantis makes an announcement about law enforcement. https://t.co/LfTJ4cUxMJ

— Ron DeSantis (@GovRonDeSantis)
“The constitution of Florida has vested the veto power in the governor, not in state attorneys,” DeSantis said at the press conference. “We are not going to allow this pathogen of ignoring the law to get a foothold in the state of Florida.”

DeSantis' outspoken spokeswoman Christina Pushaw had teased the announcement on Wednesday evening, warning that the announcement would spark “the liberal media meltdown of the year.”

“Progressive prosecutors backed by Soros have refused to enforce laws across the country,” Pushaw said in a Thursday tweet. “They treat criminals with deference & victims with contempt. This dereliction of duty is why crime is surging. But @GovRonDeSantis won’t stand for this. He just suspended the one in Florida.”

Just yesterday, this writer was out on a boat with a liberal friend from Canada who only gets his news from CNN. He said he doesn't like DeSantis because he believes the governor is "crazy," to use his word. I  suspect that people who get their news from the Compromised News Network are clueless as to how levelheaded DeSantis really is.

Marilyn Mosby indicted on federal perjury charges, sees Kamala Harris as her inspiration

Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby was indicted on federal perjury charges on Thursday and it seems as though she couldn't have done it without the inspiration. she received from Vice President Kamala Hahahaharris when Mosby was coming up as a Democrat in Maryland.

Now that Mosby may be going to prison as an inmate, she's very concerned about the criminal justice system and prison reform.

For her part, then-Senator Harris said at a Los Angeles fundraiser of Mosby in 2017: "When we march and we shout about what we need to do to reform the criminal justice system, we better understand that we gotta march and shout with our paychecks – and all of the work that we can do to actually make sure that somebody like Marilyn Mosby gets reelected into that office, to not only get convictions, but have convictions."

That may have been one of the last times in which Harris spoke a semi-coherent sentence, albeit quite a run on sentence at that.

"There are a lot of people who are highly critical of her," Harris said mostly through her nostrils, "because she heard the voices of the people and said, ‘Even if I can’t win I’m going to do the right thing.’ It’s going to be rough. It’s going to be tough. … She cannot fail and I know she will not fail."

She "heard the voices of the people?" How about she heard the people? How pretentiously Harris that rhetoric is.

Mosby, 41, has been state's apparently corrupt attorney in Baltimore since 2015, and is most lately accused of lying on a mortgage application, claiming a coronavirus-related financial hardship in order to withdraw money from her city retirement account.

The Boston native pulled out tens of thousands of dollars from the account to make down payments on two Florida vacation homes, according to court documents.

She chose Florida because Gov. Ron Dion DeSantis {R-with cool middle name] refused to force mask mandates and the like on people in his state, and Democrats who made laws in their own states, flock to Florida for the freedom the took away from their own constituents who are too dumb to vote them out.

After Harris fell into the position of vice president in 2020, based on her genitals and melanin, Mosby told the Baltimore Sun how Harris had inspired and helped her.

"On a personal note, she has inspired Black women like me to run for office," Mosby told the newspaper. They just went about getting power in different ways.

"There would be no Marilyn Mosby without Kamala Harris. When I won state’s attorney, Kamala was my inspiration."

And that's how she got indicted.

There has been no evidence found as yet showing any connection of Harris regarding Mosby's indictment and Democrats are not looking into the matter.

Latino, Latina, Latinx: Hispanics ready to kick a word into the woke trash bin

It isn't about the minorities the left claims they want to help; it's about the left feeling good about themselves in spite of how minorities [aka the victim class according to the left] feel about the "help" they didn't ask for and generally don't need.

Native Americans [not including Elizabeth Warren] never voiced a negative reaction to sports teams that with names that referred to them such as the Washington Redskins or the Cleveland Indians, for example. It only became an issue when woke White leftists brought it up as if it was a racist term, and then some Native Americans suddenly saw it as such, because 25 percent of any group of people are boobs with no exceptions.

For the left, racism is their Swiss Army knife, Kurt Schlichter and others have said.

Rather than going against the woke flow, the Washington Redskins eventually became the Washington Football Team [what creativity] and the Cleveland Indians became the Cleveland Guardians. As a basehall team, one has to wonder just what it is they are guarding--their balls? Their bats?

So while some groups caved to the demands of white woke supremacists who got their demands fulfilled, several Latino organizations are now demanding to effectively cancel the use of the bull crap term "Latinx" in official documents etc., because it isn't a word as far as the people it pretends to refer to see it.

Virtually no one in the Latino community cares a fig for the pretentious 'gender-neutral' term. Spanish, like many other languages, use gender-specific terms and it's insulting for elite progressives to change it and elected officials, and the oldest Latino civil rights organizations in America, and the Miami Herald has spoken out against the term to describe people of Spanish-speaking origin.

The results of their anger is being seen in the way Latino voters have moved away from the Democratic Party, which is a deep matter of concern as their voting block grows much larger. It shows how Latinos want to self-define rather than have outsiders define them.

Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), head of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus’ campaign arm, announced last month his congressional staff is not to use “Latinx” in official communications.

Days after Gallego’s tweet, Domingo García, president of the League of United Latin American Citizens, instructed staff and board members to drop the word “Latinx” from the group’s official communications, NBC Latino’s Suzanne Gamboa reported.

The Miami Herald, a left-leaning tabloid, wrote in an editorial last month that liberals needed to stop using the term primarily because it wasn’t popular with Latinos, but more importantly, that it helped the GOP make inroads with the Latino community, especially in Florida, a critical battleground state.

The Latino community is finally beginning to see that Democrats would rather be "woke" than be concerned about them.

Rep. Swalwell, another elitist to flout rules his party made over Covid

Rules for thee but not for me is the slogan the Democratic Party is embracing as yet another blue-state Congressman is seen maskless in mandate-free Florida, the state they bad-mouthed for political points. This time it was Eric Swalwell (D-CA), a guy known for his flatulence and his consorting with a Chinese spy.

It was only about a week ago Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell claimed the GOP "prolonged" the Covid pandemic and was now photographed without a mask as he vacationed with his family in Florida, where there is no mandate to wear a useless mask. Not surprisingly, California is one of the most stringent lock-down states in the entire country.

The photos were published exclusively by the Daily Mail, and show Swalwell tending to his infant son as he spoke with a female friend in the lobby of the luxurious Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Note that he is maskless.

"As we end 2021, mired in a deadly pandemic, you should know who has prolonged it," the hypocrite wrote. "THESE GUYS. Republican liars. Your vacation cancelled. Your kids back to virtual learning. And back to masks everywhere. For blame look no farther than #TheseGuys."

The other hypocrite, as you may have already heard, is Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Commie (D-NY), who represents the other massive mandate state where Democrats are calling for vaccinations of children as young as five or even less, but is okay with killing them before they're born and later. She was seen with her boyfriend and his sandals, both maskless, vacationing in Florida while her constituents as young as 2 are being dictated to by local government over Covid mandates and restrictions.

AOC was seen at a drag bar in very close proximity to others sans masks, as first reported by Florida's Conservative Voice. When Republicans called her out on this, she claimed they were frustrated because they wanted to "date" her, but really meant they wanted to sleep with her. Sasha from Montauk Junior High School  was angry and claimed that AOC stole her line.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) remarked Monday how Democrats from states with "draconian" coronavirus policies keep popping up in Florida for vacation. He joked, "If I had a dollar for every lockdown politician who decided to escape to Florida over the last two years, I’d be a pretty doggone wealthy man, let me tell you. I mean, Congresspeople, mayors, governors, I mean you name it."

"It’s interesting the reception that some of these folks will get in Florida," the governor continued, "because I think a lot of Floridians say ‘Wait a minute you’re bashing us because we’re not doing your draconian policies, and yet we’re the first place you want to flee to, to basically to be able to enjoy life.’"

But the best response, in my opinion, came from a DeSantis staff member Christina Pushaw, a woman who fled communism by coming to America who tweeted:
I don’t mind that AOC is partying mask-free in Miami.

But I DO mind that 2-year-olds in her district are force-masked for hours at daycare and NYC schoolchildren are eating lunch outside in freezing temperatures.

“Rules for thee, not for me” = Soviet style https://t.co/v99XFCIu2t

— Christina Pushaw (@ChristinaPushaw) January 3, 2022
But her best verbal barb was:
"AOC’s behavior is not hypocrisy — it is HIERARCHY. By openly flouting the same rules that she pushes on her constituents, she is signaling that she is powerful and does not have to abide by the same restrictions as the peasants."
It was the same "rules for thee . . . " when Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) dined at the fancy French restaurant "The French Laundry" with over a dozen others, none of whom wore masks, while his constituents were forced to wear the face diaper.

And Speaker Nancy "Dancing Hands" Pelosi (D-CA) going to a hair salon at the height of the pandemic when all hair establishments and other small businesses were forced to shut down' and the big box stores were allowed to operate.

And of course there was Gov. Whitmer (D-MI), Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D), San Francisco Mayor London Breed who had the right to go maskless 'cause she was feelin' the music, and others on the Left.

We are sick and tired of this crap and I don't want to write about this anymore, but I know I'll have to just to blow off steam, unlike Swalwell who blows off something else.

Judge takes Florida's side over Biden re: vax mandate for federal contractors

His dementia is not something to laugh at--it's something of which to impeach him

A federal judge in Florida put a temporary injunction in place Wednesday against the federal government's Covid vaccine mandate for federal contractors.

U.S. District Judge Steven Merryday [and a Merry Christmas to all] issued a 38-page opinion challenging the Biden administration's nonsensical sweeping mandate disputing its justification. The mandate would compel employees of all agencies and businesses that contract with the federal government to be vaccinated against COVID-19 with some exceptions.

Merryday was not the first to issue an injunction against Biden's mandate; a federal judge in Georgia beat him to it.

“The extent of any absenteeism attributable to COVID-19 among contractors and subcontractors is unexplained,” Merryday wrote, as reported by the News Service of Florida

“The frequency and duration of any procurement delay attributable to COVID-19 is unexplained. The extent of any cost increases attributable to COVID-19 is unexplained. In other words, the extent of any procurement problem, past or future, attributable to COVID-19 is undemonstrated and is merely a hastily manufactured but unproven hypothesis about recent history and a contrived speculation about the future. Obviously, no massive extension and expansion of presidential power is necessary to cure a non-existent problem and certainly neither ‘good cause’ nor ‘urgent and compelling circumstances’ exists to justify summary disregard of the requirements of administrative law and rule-making.”

Apparently, it isn't about the logic or the science, it's about the power.

Last month, Florida's Republican Governor Ron DeSantis signed legislation outlawing vaccine mandates in his state, which is a direct challenge to Biden’s mandate.

“It’s the United States of America,” Gov. DeSantis said at a signing ceremony in Brandon, Florida, a location chosen to emphasize the viral chant, "Let's Go Brandon!" which became a verbal substitute for "F**k Joe Biden."

De Santis continued, “The states are the primary vehicles to protect people’s freedoms; their health, their safety, their welfare, and our Constitutional system. What Biden is doing is not constitutional. There has never been a federal vaccine mandate imposed on the general public.”

A few weeks later, following a Georgia lawsuit over the mandate, U.S. District Court Judge R. Stan Baker issued a nationwide injunction against the obviously unconstitutional mandate for federal contractors. Baker’s order was not the first injunction over the mandate, but it was the first to cover the entire U.S., temporarily nullifying our alleged president's order that was set to take effect on January 4.

Federal leftist attorneys tried to get Florida’s lawsuit dismissed by arguing that the state lacked standing to sue over the vaccine mandate. Merryday disagreed, citing the conflict between state law and Biden’s vaccine mandate in his opinion.

He used the University of Florida as an example:

“As Florida’s reply shows, the University of Florida, for example, is trapped in a bind,” he wrote. “If the federal government awards a contract proposal subject to the executive order, the university’s compliance with the mandatory clause will conflict with the university’s duty to obey state law prohibiting a vaccination requirement.”

* * *

Why not subscribe to Brain Flushings and check out the ads on these pages. It costs nothing to subscribe and it's worth every penny. And remember, every time you click on an ad, you help in the fight against the tech giants.

“Absent a preliminary injunction, the defendants’ challenged actions will force each state agency to comply with Florida law and lose existing and prospective contracts,” the judge continued. “If a state agency forgoes the opportunity to contract with the federal government, no judicial relief can remedy the loss. Even a state agency’s hesitation — in deference to state law — to acquiesce to the defendant’s request to modify an existing contract might sour and end present and prospective contracts that benefit Florida and the nation.”

So Biden and his handler(s) lose this legal battle but someone is still making a bundle of money with these vaccines, and you can bet that this person or persons are government employees at the top of the food chain.

Florida's state bird is now the middle finger where COVID is concerned

President Biden got his symbolic butt kicked in Florida during the 2020 presidential election, which is why there is no love lost by him for the state. This is especially true about his feelings for the state's governor, Ron DeSantis.

But more than the election loss, Biden is obviously peeved over the freedom Florida's residents have and the business friendly policies, all of which treat Floridians as adults, not like children sucking at the teat of Big Brother.

Unlike Democratic [i.e., leftist] governors, DeSantis is willing to go up against Sleepy Joe on mandates and other measures that impact on individual rights and go against the U.S. Constitution, a document the left would like to tear up and throw away in order to grab more power.

Currently, Biden is trying to use the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a hammer to enforce COVID mandates across the country. OSHA is run by an unelected group of people who are not legally entitled to enforce a jaywalking ticket, much less a vaccine mandate on people who, for whatever reason, do not want to receive the jab.

However, Fox Business has reported that Florida isn’t going to submit to this mandate without a fight.

When the person pulling Biden's strings had him babble that OSHA would be the tool to enforce the unconstitutional vaccine, whoever is behind the curtain thought he or she or them was in the clear.

Wrong.

Gov. DeSantis is now considering whether they will ditch OSHA altogether, and they have the right to do so. The Florida state legislature will be reviewing OSHA's future in the state next week during a special session.

Florida House Speaker, Chris Sprowls, said that Florida is eager to cut ties with OSHA and push for its own regulatory powers. The state refuses to sit back and do nothing while OSHA tries to turn businesses into government hostages.

State lawmakers will be implementing new protections to safeguard workers from this tyrannical government's vaccine mandates.

The administration [whoever is running it] is becoming increasingly aware that their vaccine mandate isn't going to win in court. This is precisely the reason the administration is pressuring businesses to move ahead on their own and push for medical mandates, in spite of the Federal Appeals Court's decision to pause it at the moment.

It's no mystery why so many people are leaving Democrat-run states to move to the Sunshine State, where they can lay out on the beach, soak up the freedom, and flip the bird.

New Yorkers abandoning Big Apple for the Sunshine State

At least 33,564 wait, 33,565 New Yorkers are leaving the dictatorial state and heading on down to sunny Florida where the warm winds kiss your face and the mask you used to wear can kiss your - - - fill in the blanks.

Recent data from Florida's Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles reveal the numbers, in part, in which New York drivers licenses were exchanged for Florida licenses between September 2020 and March 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic or the China Virus.

This is a 32% increase from last year's same period when 25,370 New Yorkers traded in their licenses for a Florida replacement.

One reason given for the Apple Exodus say Florida officials is that parents want to get their kids back in a full-time, in-person school experience.

The three most popular Florida counties for the New York transplants for the calendar years 2019, 2020, and 2021 through April were — no surprise — the southeastern counties of Palm Beach (14,045), Broward (8,422), and Miami-Dade (8,033).

Overall, the total for the April 2019 to April 2021 period showed that 104,960 made the move to Florida, leading all other states by far. New Jersey, with 53,901 leaving for the sun was second in numbers. And these are drivers licenses, not individuals, so the actual number of people is even higher than these.

Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis (R) is by far and away the best governor in the country and ten steps ahead of the Democrat governors who don't know what they are doing when it comes to the coronavirus, especially the governor who wrote a self-congratulatory book about it. His state has actually "followed the science" and didn't close down the beaches nor the businesses the way others did, and the numbers of deaths are in the midrange of the entire nation, while the state has the second highest aged population.

Even now, after the CDC gave in to public pressure and told the public that vaccinated people don't need to wear a mask outdoors, the idiot Governor of New York refuses to abandon the face diaper.

Sunshine is the best disinfectant.
