Billionaire Dem Donor Who Turned on the Party After Swalwell Allegations Gets Arrested

The billionaire timeshare kingpin who suddenly ditched former Rep. Eric Swalwell and booted him from his California mansion over sexual misconduct allegations was arrested Tuesday.

Stephen Cloobeck, the founder of Diamond Resorts International, turned himself in to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department in West Hollywood. He faces a felony charge of attempting to prevent or dissuade a victim or witness from testifying, the California Post reported.

Details on exactly what went down remain fuzzy. He posted $300,000 bail and walked out, per jail records. Fox News Digital asked the sheriff's department and Cloobeck himself for comment.

"These charges are false, and we look forward to our day in court," a spokesperson for Cloobeck told the newspaper.

Cloobeck, a former gubernatorial candidate, had been backing Swalwell's run for California governor until the sexual assault claims surfaced. That was enough for him to bail on his old pal and the entire Democratic Party.

"I am no longer supporting Eric. F---ing tell everyone I’m a libertarian. F--- you, Democratic Party. I’m a libertarian now," Cloobeck told the Post at the time.

"I am now a Republican," he added to Fox 11 LA.

Swalwell has denied the claims against him in a video filmed inside Cloobeck's home. At the time, Cloobeck, who briefly ran for governor before dropping out and endorsing his former friend, said he kicked Swalwell out of his Beverly Hills mansion, stating that Swalwell "busted the trust" between them.

"I am no longer associated with a man that takes advantage of women," Cloobeck told reporters. "I support women’s rights."

Even in the clown world of California politics, this one has some extra layers of delicious irony. A big-money Dem donor finally sees the light, flips the bird to the party, and now finds himself in legal hot water. Hollywood could not script this stuff any better.

Elise Stefanik Goes Nuclear on Kathy Hochul Over Qatar-Funded Propaganda in NYC Schools

The leftists in New York never sleep when it comes to indoctrinating kids, so why should we?

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) and House Oversight leader James Comer (R-KY) are rightfully torching New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-uh) over some seriously shady Qatar-funded curriculum sneaking into Big Apple public schools. We're talking materials backed by the same folks who bankroll Hamas's favorite network, Al Jazeera, and some homegrown radicals who apparently think twisting the truth about 9/11 and the October 7 atrocities is just another day at the office.

The New York City Department of Education is stonewalling like pros, refusing to hand over these "teaching materials" that, according to the GOP duo, blatantly "twist the narratives" around those horrific attacks. Hochul's the only one with the power to force transparency, but surprise — crickets from the governor's mansion.

"The [NYC] DOE has refused to provide copies of teaching materials that twist the narratives of the September 11, 2001, terror attacks and the Hamas-led massacre on October 7, 2023, in Israel," Stefanik and Comer wrote in a letter obtained by the New York Post.

They're zeroing in on a cool $1 million from the Qatar Foundation International dumped into schools like P.S. 261 in Cobble Hill and P.S./I.S. 30 in Bay Ridge. Then there's Bridging Cultures, headed by Dr. Debbie Almontaser of the Muslim Community Network (MCN) fame, an outfit accused of soft-pedaling Islamist terror, fighting funding for the 9/11 Memorial, and smearing anyone who dares point out radical Islam's starring role in the attacks.

These groups say their workshops on October 7 "erase Israeli suffering," and together they've raked in at least $14.7 million from NYC taxpayers since 2014.

"The NYC DOE partnered with Bridging Cultures to train teachers on how to speak to students about 10/7, the war in Gaza, and the anti-Israel protest movement," Stefanik and Comer said. The lawmakers are demanding contracts, full curriculum copies, and real explanations for cozying up to these partners. Hochul's team? They brushed it off, claiming Stefanik "misunderstand[s] how New York's education system and mayoral control operate." Classic deflection from the "Worst Governor in America" crowd.

This is just the latest salvo in Stefanik's full-court press on Hochul as the 2026 governor's race heats up. She's been hammering Hochul for backing incoming NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, the communist jihadi who just endorsed radical activist Aber Kawas for State Assembly.

"Kathy Hochul endorsed Mamdani and now owns his latest public endorsement of radical activist Aber Kawas for New York State Assembly, a proud terrorist sympathizer and denigrator of the United States," Stefanik said in a statement. "Kawas notoriously blamed America for 9/11 that claimed the lives of thousands of New Yorkers, citing the United States' 'system of capitalism,' 'racism,' 'white supremacy,' and 'Islamophobia' as justification for the terrorist attacks that killed New Yorkers. It is clear that Mamdani owns and controls the Worst Governor in America, Kathy Hochul, as she cowardly remains silent on the anti-American and antisemitic filth spewed by the incoming Mayor and his endorsed candidates. Kathy Hochul must condemn Mamdani's endorsement of Kawas immediately."

Look, if you're letting Qatar, the same regime that hosts Hamas leaders in luxury, fund lessons on 9/11 and October 7 while radicals downplay the horror, you're not educating kids, you're grooming them for the next generation of America-hating protesters. Stefanik's spot-on here: This isn't "diversity" or "inclusion," it's straight-up malign influence, and Hochul owns every bit of it.

The Democrats' obsession with importing foreign cash and far-left nonsense into classrooms is peak insanity. Good on Stefanik and Comer for shining a light on this garbage. New York parents deserve better than having their kids taught to apologize for terrorism.

White Lib Melts Down, Spews Idiotic Racist Gibberish at Winsome Earle-Sears—And Boy, Does He Look Dumb

Folks, if there's one thing I've learned in this clown show called politics, it's that where you find a heap of racism, you're knee-deep in stupidity too. And brother, that combo exploded like a bad firework at a Virginia college football game on Saturday, all thanks to some unhinged leftist white dude targeting Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, the Republican powerhouse running for governor.

Imagine this: Earle-Sears is just trying to enjoy a game at James Madison University when this genius fan, let's call him Captain Barfbreath, starts hollering racist garbage her way. "Go back to Haiti!" he screams. "Traitor!" Oh, the drama.

Except... plot twist! Earle-Sears isn't from Haiti. She's Jamaican, you absolute muppet. Strike one for the dimwit, and strike two, he picked the worst possible moment to audition for America's Got Tantrums: right in front of a camera. Now the whole internet's roasting him like a Thanksgiving turkey.

Turns out, our hero's name is Scott Pogorelc, a staffer at Zeta Associates—which, fun fact, is tucked under the Lockheed Martin umbrella. Oh, and he's a big-shot Democratic donor to boot. Small world, right? The kind of guy who probably virtue-signals harder than a solar-powered Prius.

Let's call him Scott

But Earle-Sears is a class act, as always. She fired back on X without missing a beat: "I’ve been called names no one should ever hear, and I've watched people hold racist signs meant to shame me. And because I have an R next to my name, few care,” she wrote. “But I am no victim. Words won't break me, and they won’t stop this campaign. We are going to win."

Boom!

Not only did Pogorelc botch Earle-Sears' entire background like a kid flunking geography, he served it up on a silver platter for the world to meme into oblivion. Lockheed's HR folks must be speed-dialing his desk as we speak, how long till he's updating that resume?

And get this: It wouldn't shock me one bit if this knucklehead had a Black Lives Matter flag flapping in his yard back in 2020, right next to his "Hate Has No Home Here" yard sign. Bet he logs hours on social media screeching about how Trump and his voters are the real racists. Yet here he is, straight out of the 1950s playbook, pulling the "go back to where you came from" card on a Black woman, why? Because she dares to think for herself and slap that R on her ballot. The hypocrisy is thicker than Kamala Harris's skull.

See, your garden-variety progressive is usually slicker than this, they cloak their ugly biases in "allyship" jargon and DEI buzzwords. But nobody handed Pogorelc the mask. He just went full villain monologue, unscripted and unhinged. What a way to go down in flames.

SCOTUS showdown over 'unconstitutional' judicial overreach

Okay guys, let's get ready for another episode of "Judges Gone Wild!"

Sen. Chuck Grassley, the Iowa Republican who’s been around longer than most of the Capitol’s furniture, and has a voice like a cartoon character, is fed up with federal judges playing emperor with nationwide injunctions that ripple way beyond their little courtrooms. He told Fox News Digital he’s betting this judicial power trip will eventually crash and burn.

"Universal injunctions are an unconstitutional abuse of judicial power," Grassley, the Senate Judiciary Committee’s head honcho, said. No kidding, Chuck. These black-robed overlords are tossing out rulings like they’re auditioning for a reboot of Legally Blonde: The Dictatorship Edition.

Case in point: "Just this past week, a D.C. district judge issued a universal injunction blocking the president’s executive order requiring voter ID or proof-of-citizenship prior to voting in national elections." Because apparently, asking people to prove they’re eligible to vote is now a constitutional crisis for the Democrats. After all, they were hoping for the illegal alien wife-beater vote.

Grassley’s not mincing words here. That kind of ruling spits in the face of the quaint notion that "judges are not policymakers," he said. "Allowing them to assume this role is very dangerous."

Ya think? When one judge in a cozy D.C. office can hit the pause button on an entire administration’s agenda, we’re not exactly living in a republic anymore--we're living in George Soros heaven.

With the Supreme Court gearing up to tackle this mess on May 15 over President Trump’s birthright citizenship order, Grassley’s hopeful the justices will drop the hammer. The case digs into the 1898 U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark ruling, which gave us a super-sized version of birthright citizenship after a child of Chinese immigrants got the cold shoulder coming back from China. Trump’s order tweaking that precedent got slapped with nationwide injunctions from judges in Massachusetts, Maryland, and Washington state—because why not let a few unelected folks in robes run the country?

Trump’s pushing back, arguing the 14th Amendment was about former slaves, not a free-for-all citizenship buffet.

Grassley’s not just sitting on his hands. "In the meantime, I'm continuing to work with my colleagues to advance my critical Judicial Relief Clarification Act (JRCA) and put an end to universal injunctions," he said, sounding a bit like the lady in the automat.

Good luck with that, senator. Some bright sparks thought they could sneak the JRCA through via reconciliation in a Senate tighter than a hipster’s skinny jeans, but the "Byrd Rule" says no dice—non-financial bills can’t hitch a ride on that train, per someone who actually understands the process.

Grassley’s been sounding the alarm on this judicial overreach since March, when Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin tried to ram through a resolution demanding Trump bow to every federal court ruling. Durbin, by the way, is not running for reelection.

Grassley wasn’t having it. "The President of the United States shouldn’t have to ask permission from more than 600 different district judges to manage the executive branch he was elected to lead," he fired back. Preach, senator.

Ever the optimist, Grassley even tried to find common ground: "I happen to agree with some Democrats that in previous years have said some judges have gone way beyond what a judge should do on national injunctions. I hope to find a solution for that, and I hope that you and I could work on that together." Aw, Chuck, you sweet summer child. Bipartisanship on this? That’s like expecting a vegan to grill you a burger.

So here we are, watching judges act like they’ve got a divine right to rule. Grassley’s fighting the good fight, but until the Supreme Court or Congress puts these robed renegades back in their lane, we’re stuck with a system where one activist judge can derail the will of millions. Stay tuned, patriots—this one’s gonna get spicy.

Wisconsin judge arrested for allegedly obstructing arrest of illegal alien

"Okay, who took my dentures?"

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested by the FBI for allegedly hiding an illegal immigrant in her jury room to prevent that person from being arrested by ICE, a Fox News source said. The charge was for obstruction of an official proceeding Friday morning after the evidence came to light.

Federal agents from ICE, FBI, CBP and DEA attempted to arrest the undocumented male following his scheduled criminal court appearance on April 18, federal law enforcement sources told Fox News.

That’s when federal law enforcement sources say Judge Dugan demanded that the officers proceed to the chief judge’s office. At that point, they say the judge left and that the undocumented individual’s hearing concluded and that he had quickly left the building.

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan, pictured in 2016, has been arrested for allegedly hiding an undocumented immigrant in her jury room in order to prevent that person from being arrested by ICE.

Fox News has learned federal law enforcement officials believe Judge Dugan willfully redirected agents and officers to the chief judge’s office so the illegal immigrant could leave the courtroom and evade arrest.

Judge Dugan will likely have her initial appearance in federal court in Milwaukee sometime on Friday, according to Fox News.

Dugan had disputed the accuracy of local reports earlier this week which claimed she had shielded the illegal migrant from ICE.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Dugan responded to the accusations in its publication on Tuesday, writing: "Nearly every fact regarding the 'tips' in your email is inaccurate."

Fox News Digital contacted Dugan’s office by phone on Wednesday and a worker said the judge was in court and would return the call. Fox News Digital contacted Dugan again on Thursday and has not yet received a response.

The incident comes after two people were arrested by ICE officials in the hallways of the courthouse in recent weeks, per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

State Rep. Bob Donovan, a Republican, addressed the accusations against Dugan earlier this week and said that the FBI was investigating.

"In all my years of Milwaukee politics and public safety issues, working with cops, district attorneys, and judges, I have never seen a more irresponsible act by an officer of the court, let alone a judge, if true," Donovan said in a statement. "This borders on obstruction of justice and I hope the FBI continues a thorough investigation and, if warranted, prosecution to the fullest extent of the law."

Dugan has worked with legal aid organizations and as executive director of Catholic Charities in the past. She was elected to Branch 31 of the Circuit Court in 2016 and ran unopposed in the 2022 election. She primarily oversees cases in its misdemeanor division, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

12,000 fewer babies aborted in 2024 due to Florida's 'Heartbeat Law'

In 2024, Florida saw about 73,710 abortions, down from 85,770 in 2023—a decrease of roughly 12,100, according to The Guttmacher Institute. Florida’s law bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, with exceptions for victims of rape, incest, or human trafficking, allowing abortions up to 15 weeks in those cases.

Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican, signed the heartbeat bill into law in April 2023. A November 2024 ballot initiative that could have overturned this law was rejected by voters. A 2022 lawsuit by Planned Parenthood challenged the state’s earlier 15-week abortion ban and could have blocked the 2023 law, but Florida’s Supreme Court ruled against it.

DeSantis strongly opposed the 2024 ballot initiative, warning that it would “allow abortion in Florida up until birth and will invalidate all pro-life protections in state law.”

South Carolina’s abortions dropped by 3,500 after enacting a similar six-week ban in 2023. Even states with fewer restrictions, like Colorado and New Mexico, saw about 2,400 fewer abortions from 2023 to 2024, per the report.

In contrast, Wisconsin’s abortions surged by 388%, from 1,300 to 6,100, between 2023 and 2024. Arizona, California, Kansas, Ohio, and Virginia each reported over 3,000 additional abortions in the same period.

Out-of-state travel for abortions decreased from 169,700 in 2023 to 155,100 in 2024, with Illinois, North Carolina, Kansas, and New Mexico seeing the most out-of-state patients, according to Guttmacher. Meanwhile, about 40,000 more abortions nationwide in 2024 were performed through online clinics prescribing abortion pills compared to 2023.

Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022, many states have tightened abortion restrictions, leaving legal limits to state discretion.

Ilhan Omar faces deportation efforts

Rep[ulsive] Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is facing growing concerns that not only does she hate Israel and the Jews, she also hates America, a country that has only done good things for her and her brother-ex-husband. The Somali-born congresswoman is facing a growing petition to deport her back to her native land, because she broke the law getting her brother citizenship, her controversial rhetoric, her actions to impede law enforcement efforts, and besides, she kind of sucks.

Many normal people are signing the petition, which calls for her to be removed from the United States, citing her obvious disloyalty to American values and repeated criticisms of the country that did so much for her.

As calls for accountability pile up, many folks are questioning how she, with her outspoken, often anti-Semitic/anti-Israel views, was allowed to hold public office in the first place.

Emerging Republican lawmaker, Texas Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) sent out a petition, calling for Omar to be arrested and deported to her birth country. He added that the U.S. “would be a much better place if she were to be sent back.” Omar has lived in the U.S. since 1995 and became a naturalized citizen in 2000.

Gill accused Omar of advising illegal Somali immigrants on how to avoid Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids after leaked video footage revealed the Squad member instructing Somali-born constituents on what actions to take if confronted by ICE officials.

“Friend, we should have never let Ilhan Omar into our country. And frankly, America would be a much better place if she were to be sent back to Somalia,” Gill wrote in a fundraising email. She is “more loyal to illegal Somalians” than U.S. citizens, adding that Omar is “facilitating a full-scale invasion of our country.”

He suggested that she could be found guilty of treason and stated that the "time has come to arrest and deport Ilhan Omar.”

“I have had my fill of foreigners storming our border, complaining about and disparaging our country, and then helping more and more of them invade our lands… And I know the American people are too,” Gill wrote. “If you’re as sick and tired of it as I am, sign my petition, and let’s send her back to Somalia, where she belongs.”

In a video released on February 4, Omar, speaking in Arabic, advised illegal Somali immigrants that if approached by ICE officers, they should inform the agents that a lawyer had instructed them not to answer questions or provide their name, immigration status, or information about their mode of entry.

Sounds like something a criminal would advise to their fellow criminals.

Several reports have raised questions about Omar's immigrant background, with one alleging that she married her second husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, a British citizen rumored to be her brother, for him to gain a green card. She dismissed such claims after the FBI opened an investigation, calling them “disgusting lies.”

In response to Gill’s remarks, Omar declared him to be a “racist” and a “fascist,” which is her go-to response when anyone who confronts her because she has no other resource to counter truth.

“It is truly disgusting that members of the Republican party feel emboldened to engage in racist and quite frankly fascist remarks,” Omar said in a statement to Axios. “Representative Gill’s attempt to clout chase by threatening to deport a legal US citizen because you disagree with them is directly out of Donald Trump’s fascist playbook. I hope Representative Gill learns a thing or two about the value immigrants bring to this country and stop threatening Americans that disagree with `him.”

But remember, Omar is only a citizen because she wasn't caught lying on her application, which brings to mind a different application that a certain son of a demented politician lied on when applying for a gun permit.

Lee Zeldin attacker revolving door release thanks to leftist policies

While giving a stump speech in Perinton, New York, Republican candidate for governor, Lee Zeldin was assaulted by a man with a "sharp object" Thursday evening. He was charged with a felony and was set free within hours of his arrest, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.

Zeldin correctly predicted the attacker, identified as David G. Jakubonis, 43, of Fairport, NY, would be released after being charged with attempted assault of the second degree.

Jakubonis [pronounced 'Jackass"] was arraigned in Perinton Town Court, not far from the local McDonalds.

"His words as he tried to stab me a few hours ago were ‘you’re done’, but several attendees, including @EspositoforNY, quickly jumped into action & tackled the guy," Zeldin tweeted early Friday. "Law enforcement was on the scene within minutes. The attacker will likely be instantly released under NY’s laws."

Because NY's laws are instituted by the Left who have been in power since 2006.

Zeldin was giving a speech about bail reform at a Veterans of Foreign Wars post when the alleged assault happened.

Jakubonis was tackled by AMVETS national Director Joe Chenelly, according to witnesses.

"His right hand came up, I assume out of his pocket, and he had a blade on his hand," Chenelly told Fox News Digital. "His fingers were like two finger holes in the blade and lunged at the congressman. And Congressman Zeldin blocked the first lunge. And then as he tried to lunge again, I grabbed him from behind and tackled him down to the ground and held him on the ground," Chenelly said.

Zeldin released a statement after the attack that said: "Thank you to everyone who reached out following tonight’s attack in Fairport. Someone tried to stab me on stage during this evening’s rally, but fortunately, I was able to grab his wrist and stop him for a few moments until others tackled him. I’m ok, and @EspositoforNY, and all other attendees are safe. The attacker is in custody. Grateful for the attendees who stepped up quickly to assist and the law enforcement officers who quickly responded. I’m as resolute as ever to do my part to make NY safe again."

So the custody looks more perfunctory than effective.

Ex-Michigan Speaker's sister-in-law revealed as his sexual assault accuser

I always hate it when someone on the conservative side of the aisle does something horrible or stupid and because we have become a nation where politics has colored all of our views, their behavior becomes our stigma.

Former Michigan State House Speaker, Lee Chatfield (R) was accused of multiple sexual assaults by his alleged victim when she was a teenager, and it turns out that she is his own sister-in-law, Rebekah Chatfield.

Rebekah is married to Lee's younger brother. She claims Chatfield assaulted her “more times than I can count” beginning when she was 15 years old more than a decade ago--she is now 26.

Rebekah filed the criminal complaint with the Lansing Police Department against Lee, 33, she revealed in several interviews with Bridge Michigan. The assaults allegedly started when Rebekah began dating Lee's younger brother and continued until last year.

“He destroyed me, and has controlled my life since I was 15-16, the past 10-11 years,” she said. “And I know the only way to get justice for this is to come forward and to file a criminal (complaint) against him.”

Lee Chatfield was the youngest person to serve as Speaker of the House in Michigan in over 100 years. He left office in 2020 as a result of term limits.

Rebekah alleged the assaults first began when she was either 15 or 16 year old at Northern Michigan Christian Academy, which, at the time, was where Lee was teaching and coaching soccer before going into politics, unlike his father, who is a pastor, the school superintendent and a teacher.

At that time Rebekah, then 19, was dating Aaron Chatfield, Lee's kid brother. They were "doing it" so the family pushed them to get married, according to the report. They were engaged in June 2014 and married in August.

Rebekah said that she kept the incidents with Lee secret from her family and Aaron because she was ashamed and afraid to tell them. But in December, she said her mental health was in jeopardy and she told them and also filed a police report, according to Bridge.

“I had a lot of family stuff going on in my life,” she told Bridge. “My dad was a recovering alcoholic, and so I believe that Lee used those (circumstances) against me and helped take advantage of me. So he would manipulate me, he would mess with my emotions."

She explained, “My whole world was the Chatfield family. So if I told (the Chatfields), that would, that would ruin everything. I couldn’t see what would happen past then. I didn’t know there was an option to report. I didn’t know there were options for therapy.”

Aaron claimed to remember his older brother being "handsy" with his then-girlfriend when they were younger.

“I always had questions,” he told Bridge. “I don’t remember how I asked, I just remember saying, ‘Is something going on between you and Lee?’

“I just saw the way he looked at her.”

Bridge goes on to tell of the emotional experiences Rebekah went through and what a dickweed Lee was, along with Aaron, who basically sat with his thumb stuck in his nether regions.

In fact, even Rebekah's mother, Debbie Newberry, said she saw a change in her daughter's behavior in her later teenage years, but evidently she too did nothing to help her.

Aaron quit school earlier to support his brother’s political career. He claimed that he’d worked in Lansing as Lee’s driver and would take the scumcrumpet to strip clubs and to meet with various women, including a former staffer.

“Lee portrays himself as a family tradition, conservative guy who believes in the Bible and the Bible is so important,” said Aaron, 26. “No, it couldn’t be further from who my man was as a person.”

So it turns out that Lee is a liberal in a conservative's clothing in spite of his party affiliation.

Since Aaron learned about his brother’s years of assault on his wife in December, he has been supportive of her and is confident she is telling the truth, he alleged.

Lee’s father, Rusy Chatfield, who founded the church and school where his son taught told Bridge without actually knowing the truth that “the allegations are false.” like any father might say of his son.

Rebekah admitted to the Bridge that at times it was she who initiated contact with Lee, but denied that it was consensual.

“…it was never consensual, because it started when I was a minor — the brainwashing, the mentality, the manipulation, the psychological, the emotional — he groomed me into being who he wanted me to be.”

Lee has not commented on the accusations, but his attorney Mary Chartier told The Bridge in a statement that both were “consenting adults” in the over ten year relationship when Rebekah was a teenager. [Do the math.]

So his lawyer is implying the sexual relationship only began after she came to the age of consent, but under Michigan law, while that age is 16, it is illegal for teachers to have any type of penetrative sex with a student under the age of 18.

Even if that turns out to be true, it's kind of a crappy thing to do with your brother's girlfriend.

Hopefully justice will be served and if found guilty, Lee will still have the opportunity to meet guys over the legal age with names like Spike, Shredder, and Bobby Bag O' Donuts. It's unlikely he'll go to prison, however.

More Clinton ties on Mueller's team

More Clinton connections have come into the sunlight for members of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe as Republican complaints about potential bias inside the office of the investigative team.

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that Mueller investigator Andrew Weissmann, attended Hillary Clinton's election night party at the Javits Center in New York City last November. Weissmann is a former partner at WilmerHale.

You may recall that Weissmann's the guy who in January praised outgoing acting Attorney General Sally Yates, who was fired for refusing to defend President Trump's travel ban. He had also donated thousands of dollars to former President-from-behind Obama's campaign and the DNC.

Now, at least two Mueller investigators' past legal work for Clinton-tied liberals are getting careful scrutiny as Republicans search for signs of bias.

Aaron Zebley, another former WilmerHale partner, and a former chief of staff to Mueller when he served as FBI director, represented Justin Cooper, a significant person in the Hillary Clinton illegal email scandal for which she was never brought to justice. [Just sayin'].

Cooper is the Bill Clinton aide responsible for helping set up the illegal private email server and later admitted to "two instances where he destroyed [Hillary] Clinton's mobile devices by breaking them in half or hitting them with a hammer."

He too has escaped justice and is walking the streets of Washington, D.C. in his swamp boots.

Jeannie Rhee, another former partner at WilmerHale, represented Ben Rhodes, an ex-Obama National Security Adviser. She also represented the Clinton Foundation in a 2015 racketeering case. And hey, she even represented Hillary herself, in a lawsuit seeking access to her private emails.

"You've got Donald Trump being prosecuted by Hillary Clinton's fan club--that's inequitable," Rep. Matt Gaetz (R.-Fl.) a member of the House Judiciary Committee, told Fox News on Friday. "Many of the members of Mueller's team donated to the Clinton campaign. We have a lot of highly qualified federal prosecutors in the Justice Department and we could have found a bunch of them who didn't donate to either candidate. But that didn't occur, and that's troubling."

Kid Rock confirms he wants to run for Senate

Musician Kid Rock, born Robert James Ritchie, announced his plans to run for Michigan's Senate seat. Like the idea or not, if he wins, at least he sounds better than Joe Scarborough singing his "Monkey Song" or whatever that crapola was called.

In a tweet Wednesday, Kid said the website "KidRockForSenate.com" was real and to stay tuned for "a major announcement in the near future."

Sounds a bit like a Donald Trump 'teaser.'

Michigan Republicans have actually considered Rock to run on the GOP ticket in 2018. He would challenge incumbent Debbie Stabenow for her seat.

Sarah Anderson, Michigan's GOP press officer, didn't know in February when speaking to Fox News whether Rock would run for office in state, but she thought it "would be awesome" if he did.

Awesome and cool, man.

Soon, if all goes well--or unwell, if that's your thinking--we might be able to use actual politicians to play their own lives on TV series like "House of Cards."

Mr. Rock is an outspoken conservative and must be acutely aware now that everyone knows his political beliefs, that his best move in life would be to get out of show business and try a political career. After all, conservative celebrities tend to become extinct once they're outed as intelligent.

Rock endorsed Mitt Romney in 2012 for president and told The Guardian in 2015 that he's a Republican on certain issues, and leans to the middle on others.

"I am definitely a Republican on fiscal issues and the military, but I lean to the middle on social issues. I am no fan of abortion, but it's not up to a man to tell a woman what to do. As an ordained minister, I don't look forward to marrying gay people, but I'm not opposed to it."

That's because his mother already had him and he doesn't allow his religious beliefs to interfere with his behavior.

He had me on fiscal and military, but totally lost me on abortion.

By not "tell(ing) a woman what to do," Rock is failing to recognize the moral issue involved. How can he be a minister but have no stance on the killing of unborn babies?

He may not be a fan of abortion, but if he doesn't morally oppose it, he really isn't a true conservative nor a true minister in my opinion.

If Kid Rock really runs and wins, he'd be the first GOPer to win that seat since 1998. Stabenow has held it since 2000.

Unfortunately, she too is pro-abortion.

A 'woman's right to choose' does not morally give her the right to choose to kill her unborn child. But as Ronald Reagan said, and I paraphrase: "I've noticed that people who are pro-abortion have already been born."

Tillerson confirmed by Senate

Former ExxonMobil executive, Rex Tillerson, has been confirmed by the Senate Wednesday as the GOP is sprinting toward the finish line, running past Democratic resistance to fill the Trump Cabinet.

The vote was 56-43, and if  you do the math, it means that five Democrats voted for Trump's pick.

As the day began, Democrats attempted to delay the confirmations but Republicans moved fast to advance three nominees to a final vote.

Jeff Sessions also won the Senate Judiciary Committee vote as it went along party lines for a 11-to-9 approval for Attorney General. Democrats dragged out the proceeding Tuesday and the committee advanced Sessions to the floor for the vote.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) said, "No doubt we have the votes. It's going to get done."

Obstructionist Democrats have tried to hold up several Trump Cabinet picks using concerns over their records as a ploy, as well as President Trump's new policies and recent executive orders on immigration.

The Republican-led Senate Finance Committee did an 'end around' Senate Democrats' efforts to slow Trump's picks for Treasury Secretary and Health and Human Services Secretary when they tried to boycott the votes.

Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-UT) suspended committee rules on the number of members required to vote, allowing GOP members to vote in favor of Steve Mnuchin as Treasury Secretary and Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) to serve as Health and Human Services Secretary. Price, by the way, is a medical doctor and knows a thing or two about this area.

Sen. Ron Wyden (Duh-OR) the committee's wimpiest Democrat cried that Hatch wasn't playing fair and broke the rules. Both he and Chuck Schumer retreated to the Democrat's "safe space" located at the third stall in senate lavatory.

Seriously, this feels so good to give back to Democrats what they gave to Republicans. Hearing them cry brings to mind a song by the "Rolling Stones" which is "You Can't Always Get What You Want" but if you cry, sometimes you get what you need.

"What you had was a rump group that met in violation of Democratic values to confirm two ethically-challenged nominees," 'Whining Weepy Wyden' whined to Fox News. "There's no question about that."

Of course there's a question about that. If you're going to boycott normal protocol because Clinton, your leftist felon lost, then the wheels of government are going to run you over, you whiny libtard.

Sessions, Price and Mnuchin will almost definitely get the required simple majority needed for confirmation due to the GOP majority of 52 senators versus the losers that only have 48 due to an American population that's fed up with their nonsense.

Democrats were able to temporarily thwart a Senate confirmation vote on Scott Pruitt for the Environmental Protection Agency by boycotting a key committee meeting.

The operant word is "temporarily."

Obama tries to put the screws to GOP

Lame Duck President Obama is ending a long held immigration policy that allowed any Cuban who made it to U.S. soil to stay and become a legal resident. But now, in a statement, he said the so-called "wet foot, dry foot" policy was "designed for a different era" of U.S.-Cuba relations.

The new policy will send back to Cuba those who attempt to enter the U.S. illegally without qualifying for humanitarian relief.

"By taking this step," the outgoing failure of a POTUS said, "we are treating Cuban migrants the same way we treat migrants from other countries" [but where they aren't tortured when we return them like they will probably be once they're back in the Cuban Communist dictatorship].

The Lame Duck Obama said that the Havana government has agreed to accept Cubans ordered to leave the U.S., a concession that was an ongoing dialog between us and Cuba for several months.

But a senior administration official said the Cuban government gave no guarantees that the returned Cubans would be treated fairly [without torture, and being allowed to keep various body parts]. The official said, however, that political asylum is still an option for those concerned about persecution if they are sent back.

Homeland Security Secretary and Obama sock puppet, Jeh Johnson, said the move "goes a long way to putting our relationship with Cuba on equal terms with our relationship with other neighbors."

And besides, the majority of Cubans who sought asylum here tend to vote Republican.

Obama's administrative rule change can easily be changed by Donald Trump once he's in office. A lot of Obama's "pen and phone" garbage can easily be undone because he circumvented the Constitution by making executive orders rather than law, and executive orders can be undone with new executive orders.

Trump has criticized Obama's groveling to cozy up to Castro and Cuba but there is a conundrum because Trump has made a commitment to get tough on immigration and this is what Obama has done.

In the past, the U.S. has been averse to sending people back to Cuba, but Fidel Castro has been a hero of Obama because, like his parents, grandparents and mentor, Frank Marshall (he called him "Uncle Frank") Fidel Castro was also a communist. Also, the Cuban government didn't usually take back those we tried to return, or when they did, they were never heard from again.

One wonders if Obama would be doing this if Cubans voted Democratic, like Mexicans.

What do you think?

Controversial Keith Ellison hopes to run the DNC

I have faith in the intelligence of the American people (maybe not so much faith in the intelligence of liberals). That's why I believe the GOP should hope Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) becomes the next chairman of the DNC.

Normal people would vote Republican.

Anyone with analytical powers or plain common sense would have a totally changed view of the Democratic Party if Ellison is appointed, and voters, as described above, would have to think twice before pledging allegiance to a party that would have such a leader.

But again, we're talking about liberals--they don't seem to like America as it is now and always want to change her.

Ellison is the first Muslim to be elected to U.S. Congress. That in and of itself is not an issue, but beside a history of not paying his parking tickets (something that is unlawful) Ellison is a strong supporter of Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam.

When Ellison attended the University of Minnesota Law School, he wrote several articles supporting the anti-Semitic, anti-white Farrakhan. You can see more on Farrakhan here, here  and here.

But Farrakhan doesn't like white people either.

Ellison had also called for the impeachment of Dick Chaney and compared George W. Bush to Adolf Hitler, so of course Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren love the guy as does Chuck Schumer (D. NY) and Harry Reid (D. Nev.).

Another website,  Jihad Watch, has a lot to say about Ellison and his relationship to Islam.

Ellison back Bernie Sanders in the election. "Bernie sparked the beginning of a revolution y'all," he said at the DNC in Philadelphia. "Together we call for climate justice, racial justice, wage justice."

Nobody is quite sure what 'climate justice' means, and racial justice is Ellison's idea that cops need to stop returning fire. Wage justice is the belief that your money needs to be divided up, but not the money of the elite.

Sanders has also backed Ellison and said in a fundraising email that an Ellison-led Democratic Party will stand up to Wall Schtreet greed and corporate America.

Socialists hate big corporations because they're big.

Ellison is expected to announce his bid Monday. On Sunday, he hinted he would run and said the party needs to focus on middle- and working-class Americans and less on donors.

Avid Trump supporter will forever vote Democrat (now that he's dead)

Assemblyman Bill Nojay, once an avid Donald Trump supporter and now a likely Democratic voter, was facing a fraud trial. But, in spite of that,  he won his primary election on Tuesday.

Unfortunately for Nojay, he killed himself last week and now the dead Republican will likely be voting for the other party, if you know what I mean.

Nojay was a vocal Second Amendment advocate and backed Trump's bid for president, but he was facing a fraud trial in Cambodia and was supposedly under the watchful eye of the Hillary campaign advocacy group known as the FBI.

The late assemblyman went to his family's cemetery plot in Rochester, NY when police arrived at which point he shot and killed himself to avoid arrest.

Despite the fact that he is now dead, Nojay's lifeless body beat challenger Rick Milne, as he collected 58% of the vote with 88 percent of the voting districts counted. Thus, Nojay had 2,098 votes to Milne's 1,539.

This is yet another example of how voters prefer a "hands-off" government to an interfering, over-regulating, dishonest and taxing liberal one.

Nojay, who will forever be 59, was first elected to the Assembly in 2012, but faced growing legal troubles that included charges of fraud in Cambodia involving a one million dollar investment in a proposed rice exporting business that failed. He was also to appear in federal court on Friday on fraud charges regarding a $1.8 million trust fund overseen by him for a longtime client and buddy.

Nojay shot and killed himself in front of a Rochester police office who responded to a call to "check the welfare: of an individual in the area. Nojay's attorney is believed to have made the call after Nojay said that he wanted to kill himself.

Milne, his opponent in the primary and mayor of Honeoye Falls, stopped campaigning after the news of Nojay's suicide.

Oddly enough, Milne was able to scratch out one additional primary vote, if you know what I mean.

Planned Parenthood aborted in another state

The Associated Press reports that yet another state has cut funding for Planned Abortions Parenthood, (PP).

Republican Governor Robert Bentley of Alabama said Thursday that he's cutting off state Medicaid payments to PP after the exposure of undercover videos taken by the Center for Medical Progress. The videos show PP administrators discussing "fetal tissue" (read: baby organs) and apparently "plan" to sell the body parts to researchers for a profit.

Governor Bentley sent the abortionists a letter announcing his termination of agreements that allow PP to be reimbursed for providing health care services to Medicaid patients (my italics).

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, a GOP candidate for president announced the similar decision earlier this week.

"The deplorable practices at Planned Parenthood have been exposed to Americans, and I have decided to stop any association with the organization in Alabama. As a doctor and Alabama's governor, the issue of human life, from conception to birth and beyond, is extremely important. I respect human life and do not want Alabama to be associated with an organization that does not," Bentley said.

Conservatives vs. Liberals: Apples and Sour Grapes

Some of the differences between run-of-the-mill conservatives and run-of-the-mill liberals are easy to spot.  The former person reveres the flag, often uses it as his or her avatar on Twitter or their blog, and proudly salutes it in places and at times where it is normally saluted. The liberal passes laws that say that the freedom to desecrate the American flag is what real freedom is all about--but freedom is not about discussing your opinions publicly regarding Islam, or burning their holy book--a book so holy that it has for fourteen hundred years incited holy wars, murders, homophobia, misogyny, religious intolerance of non-Muslims, and anti-Semitism.

A conservative thinks America is the greatest nation on earth and does not need their spouse to become President to finally feel proud of their country.  A conservative actually means what he or she says when saying the Pledge of Allegiance--a liberal tries to ban the Pledge because it has a bad word in it--that word is 'God'. So, conservatives honor the flag for what it symbolizes; liberals burn the flag for the same reason, and have the freedom to do so without impunity because of the freedoms conservatives died for.

At times of war, an able-bodied conservative fights for America because he or she knows how fragile freedom can be in a world of barbarians; a liberal will often dodge the draft and protest the war, berate the heroes who served in it, and act self-righteous.  In spite of this, they still believe in their motto: "My fair share."

Conservatives are willing to take risks for their personal successes in life. Liberals want to be cared for by the government and the only risks they are willing to take is unprotected sex because if there is a problem, a free abortion can fix it by simply killing the baby. Of course they never put it in such blunt terms--liberals kick conservatives butt when it comes to rationalizing--they "terminate the pregnancy," as if it has nothing to do with another life.  Now we have a college student who wants the public to pay for her "health care" costs of birth control. President Obama even spoke with her on the phone (I guess he couldn't get through to Brian Terry's parents to give his condolences on the death of their Border Agent's death).  If birth control is a health care issue and the taxpayer should pay for it, then my gym membership is a health care issue that should also be paid for by taxpayers . . . and my soap, toothpaste, and you get the point. Just more liberal rationalization.

Conservatives have straightforward expectations of the people in their lives: be fair to me, and I will be fair to you. Liberals think of "fair" in terms of their "fair share." They never quite define what is fair, but it is always on their terms, not on the person who they want to be fair to them. They expect people to provide jobs for them and they call these people "the government," when in reality they are comprised of all people, even conservatives. Liberals want conservatives and others to go against their principals so that they can receive things from them at no cost. They demand that religious groups go against their beliefs and conscience and pay for their birth control and contraceptives because they say that every American is "entitled to health care." This is what I meant by how they kick butt with their rationalizing. It is not a fact that everyone is entitled to free health care, nor is it a fact that birth control and contraception is even a health care issue; it is a liberal rationalization

Conservatives use facts and issues to select a person to become their leader--at least most conservatives do.  Liberals use their emotions and select the candidate they feel is cooler, smarter, better-looking, and with it. This is how Obama became President; it had to be the reason since almost nothing was known about him, and even his voting record was practically sterile, voting present on issues rather than actually have the guts to take a stand.  His use of emotional buzz words and promises was what got him elected; nothing else. Liberals, you see, would rather go along with lofty promises of having the heavens handed to them than hear an honest assessment of what needs to be done in order to begin solving the nation's problems. The former involves dreams, while the latter involves work.

One cannot be a conservative if one believes our country is not exceptional.  One cannot be a conservative if one "buys" the slogan "Yes We Can," instead of "Yes I Can." One cannot be a true conservative if one does not support America's closest ally, Israel, and stand against our enemies and those of our allies.  One cannot be a conservative if they are a racist--racism is not an option in a land comprised of all races, hundreds of languages, and a multitude of religions--we are all Americans and must stand together--slavery was a Democratic invention and Lincoln was the first Republican President and he ended slavery. But Republicans are not guilt-free when it comes to racism, however, do not let a Democrat make you believe that we are the party of the racist because we refused to vote for a socialist black man; remember what I said about liberals and their expertise on rationaization--they might convince you of their nonsense with the words they use.

Comparing conservatives to liberals is like comparing apples to sour grapes.

Think.

Czar of the Czars

I've gotten a lot of Twitter feedback about my thoughts regarding CNN (Certainly Not News) and John King's opening question at the GOP Presidential Campaign debate. Conservatives believe the question was a typically disgusting left wing attempt at making a Republican look like a cad, as opposed to how they tried to make Bill Clinton look cool.  If there was ever a double standard, the liberals own the copyright.

Remember when G.W. Bush was depicted by the media as stupid? In an earlier blog I discussed this and how both Bush and Kerry had gone to Yale and while both were generally mediocre, Bush still had a higher grade average than John-What-Number-Wife-Did-You-Say-You-Are-Kerry had.  But facts like grades, don't matter to liberals--it's all about feelings and appearance.  Perhaps this is why actors tend to be liberals and honest business people tend to be conservatives.  I exclude those businessmen like Warren Buffett, who claim that they should pay higher taxes for the sake of the country--but only for the sake of others doing the same, or the country doesn't really matter. Of course we also have GE's CEO, Jeffrey Immelt, who was assigned the position of another Obama czar (I love that Obama uses communist Russian terms) of jobs, when his company has exported thousands of jobs to our friends in China. This will not only hurt our job market, but will also allow our friends in China to acquire some seriously secret military information as the company will be dealing with our aircraft production.

Now we have Obama nixing the Keystone XL pipeline that would have created thousands of American and Canadian jobs, but is hated by green people (teeth included). If Canada deals with our friends in China, this will do nothing to protect the environment--in fact, there's a better chance of an oil spill than a busted pipe from Canada to the USA since there are no mountains to negotiate in the line. But common sense and logic have no part to play in Obama socialist policy. It's all about his second term as USA Czar.  And if you think he was bad his first term, just imagine how much worse he will be in his second term, if elected.

Our sacrifices for liberty deserves more--not a president who would limit them in so many areas, like the internet, freedom to speak our minds, and privacy.  If you take everything Obama has said about himself and flip it upside-down, you will see the truth. Transparency=covert operations; freedom=compromised Constitution; wealth=joblessness; paychecks=food stamps.

This is wiithout a doubt, the most important American election in our lifetime and in our children's lifetime. Vote with your head.

God bless America.

Cracker Barrel Finds CEO Who Promises To Leave The Rocking Chairs Alone
