Obama appointed judge fired over sex scandal

FOX Business contributor Katrina Campins broke down the mess of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis's personal relationship with Nathan Wade on Jesse Watters Primetime.U.S. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon dropped a motion on Friday to get Atlanta U.S. District Judge Eleanor Ross tossed from a major election integrity case. Why? Because Ross admitted she went to a partisan Democrat fundraiser for Fani Willis, which is flat out illegal and screams she is anything but impartial.

But that is just the warm up for Ross's greatest hits album of judicial disgrace.

Turns out that Ross, who is married, has been carrying on for years banging Atlanta deputy police chief Kelley Collier right there in her chambers during work hours. Staff overheard the sexual noises. When she got caught, she lied about it and then retaliated against the people who reported her.

This is textbook workplace sexual misconduct, lying, and obstruction of justice, folks.

And what did the federal judiciary do about it? Gave her a freaking private reprimand. Yes, a private reprimand. That is the judicial equivalent of a participation trophy for being a sleazy embarassment. Ross should resign immediately or get impeached by Congress. She should also face federal criminal charges for lying to investigators.

The Atlanta Police Department has tons of cases in front of Ross's court.

Collier, her regular courthouse hookup, is a nearly thirty year veteran who runs the Community Services Division and, oh yeah, he is also married.

The Eleventh Circuit Judicial Council actually said it was only by pure happenstance that Ross never got assigned any cases from that division while she was banging the deputy chief. Relying on luck to avoid a screaming conflict of interest does not make you ethical. It makes you lucky and gross. Nothing indicates she would have ended the affair if a case had landed on her desk.

Ross is  married to DeKalb County Circuit Judge Brian Ross. I wonder how he's taking it.

This went on right under the noses of her law clerks, young lawyers who were supposed to look up to her as a role model as opposed to a "Fans Only" woman. One former clerk had to blow the whistle to disciplinary authorities. She turned her fancy judicial chambers into a cheap love shack for several years, from 2023 until 2025.

When staff pushed back on her illegal behavior, she cursed them out. Retaliating against whistleblowers has zero place in the federal judiciary.

Ross, an Obama appointee, also showed up at the victory party for Fani Willis, the same legal train wreck who brought that ridiculous, politically motivated indictment against President Trump and nearly twenty other defendants in 2023. Courts eventually booted Willis after it came out she was sleeping with special prosecutor Nathan Wade.

Judges are not supposed to attend these partisan Democrat love clusterfracks. Ethical canons exist for a reason.

Ross showed zero integrity when Eleventh Circuit Chief Judge William Pryor confronted her. She flat out denied everything and called the allegations outrageous. She knew she was lying through her teeth. If a lawyer pulled that stunt in court, they would be disbarred and possibly prosecuted for contempt. But the Judicial Council went soft on Ross, kept the reprimand private, and refused to name her. That lack of transparency is garbage. The public has every right to know which judge is abusing her office, lying about it, retaliating, and trying to cover it up.

She is a caught liar with no business on the federal bench. This fiasco is exactly why Congress needs to pass Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley's bill for an independent inspector general over the federal judiciary. These judges cannot police themselves, and for one in particular, don't even mention the word 'police,' it gets her all steamy hot.

Her eventual confession changes nothing.

The council made her skip being chief judge of the Northern District and say sorry to the staff she screwed over. Big whoop. These are pathetic slaps on the wrist. As it stands, Ross keeps collecting that sweet lifetime federal paycheck and benefits. Other judges with half a spine have resigned over less. She should do the same. The Justice Department needs to prosecute her, and the House should impeach her.

Funny how Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff has been completely MIA on this.

Ross sits on the bench in his home state. Her antics have humiliated the Northern District of Georgia, the whole state, and the federal judiciary. Ossoff, a full-blown coward, has not called for her resignation, has not demanded transparency, and has not said a single public word about why they shielded her from accountability. That silence is deliberate, and Georgians should remember it come election time.

Ross is a complete disgrace to the judiciary. She should slink away with whatever dignity she has left and be replaced by someone who understands that judicial chambers are not a Motel 6 for afternoon delights that the whole staff has to hear.

The Senate Judiciary Committee, where Ossoff ought to be leading the charge instead of playing hide and seek, should demand answers on why her name stayed secret. Most important, the Justice Department needs to open a criminal investigation into the false statements she made to Pryor and her obstruction of justice. The judiciary and the country deserve way better than Eleanor Ross.

USDA fraud crackdown to end loophole that has the ultra rich get food stamps

The USDA is finally getting serious about cracking down on food stamp fraud all over the country, going after a loophole that’s been letting wealthy people qualify for government benefits they have no business touching.

[H/T Fox News]

Secretary Brooke Rollins dropped a post on X this week noting that one single state has 14,000 individuals on SNAP benefits who are also tooling around in Ferraris, Bentleys, and Lamborghinis. You can’t make this stuff up.

She put fraudsters on notice that the USDA is working to shut down that loophole under the Broad-Based Categorical Eligibility policy, the one that lets people qualify for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits even when they’ve got the cash to drop hundreds of thousands on luxury cars.

Rollins told Fox Business this week that the department is "getting very, very close to being able to fix that" loophole.

SNAP, the biggest federal anti-hunger program in the United States, has been a favorite punching bag for conservatives demanding reforms for years. Rollins went on "The Ingraham Angle" Thursday night to highlight just how insane some of the waste and abuse has gotten.

"We've found 500,000 people getting more than one benefit illegally. We found 244,000 dead people. This is just the red states," Rollins said about what she's discovered going through the data from the states that have agreed to provide it since her first day on the job.

"We have arrested 895 different people in the last year for illegally using the food stamp system and, of course, now we're talking about what is happening with that money."

USDA numbers show 4.2 million fewer food stamp recipients during President Trump’s first year in office as the administration keeps swinging the axe amid endless reports of misuse from coast to coast.

"Food stamp waste and fraud is out of control," Republican congressional candidate in Orange County and CAL DOGE Director Jenny Rae Le Roux told Fox News Digital. "California alone loses nearly $14 million every day from SNAP to EBT skimming, out-of-state and country beneficiaries and eligibility lapses at a time when technology exists to close every gap, quickly."In March, Fox News Digital reported on Minnesota millionaire Rob Undersander, who somehow qualified for food stamps anyway. He’s been ringing the alarm on this nonsense ever since and has testified about it in Minnesota and before Congress.

"Reintroducing basic guardrails like an asset test is a commonsense step to restore integrity, ensure benefits go to those who truly need them and protect the long-term viability of the program," America First Policy Institute Health & Harvest Campaign Director Matt Schmid said in March.

"This isn’t about taking help away. It’s about making sure SNAP works the way it was intended to."

On top of that, the USDA put out a press release Thursday detailing Rollins’ plan to reorganize the SNAP program, including shipping food nutrition resources and staff out of Washington, D.C., to places like Indianapolis, Dallas, Denver, and Kansas City. About time some of these bureaucrats got a taste of real America.

A USDA spokesperson told Fox News Digital Friday the announcement "aligns with the Food and Nutrition Administration’s mission, to nourish those in need through financially sound programs that promote health and work, as well as champion the productivity of American agriculture."

"As the Food and Nutrition Administration begins its refocusing of operations, all 16 federal nutrition programs will continue without disruption. Pertaining to Indianapolis, it has a lower cost of living, one of the top airports in the country, and has excelled at innovative program delivery."In the end, the administration says these fixes will actually help the people who really need the assistance.

"Since its inception, SNAP has helped our most vulnerable citizens afford the essential and nutritious food they need," Rollins and Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wrote in a Fox News op-ed in March. "At least, that is what the program is supposed to do.

"Over time, however, SNAP has been taken advantage of, allowing many to game the system and leaving millions of vulnerable Americans without healthy, nutrient-dense food options."

Congress set to get Peloton memberships at $10K a pop: people upset for some reason

The House of Reprehensibles Representatives is facing a bit of blowback over their plan to use taxpayer money for Peloton memberships to staffers in Washington, D.C. and district offices across the country while taxpayers are busting their butts to make ends meet with the soaring inflation crisis. [H/T FOX Business]

Both parties are guilty.

A draft email from the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) obtained by FOX Business, said the free [to staffers] memberships were a “premier employee benefit” and that all Capitol Police would also receive free memberships.

WTF?

About 12,300 government freeloaders would get both Peloton All-Access and a Peloton App membership while taxpayers would end up shelling out over $120,000 per month depending on the number of elites in government enroll.

“A source familiar with the matter told FOX Business that the contract cost is a $10,000 upfront payment to Peloton, plus an extra $10 per month charge for each staffer or officer that utilizes the benefit,” FOX Business reported.

“For other Americans, a Peloton All-Access Membership costs $39 per month and a Peloton App Membership costs $12.99 per month.”

WTF?

If these people need to get in shape, they need to do it at their own expense, not ours. This isn't a private company giving out employee perks; this is our government doling out taxpayer money without their employer's permission--us!

Peloton confirmed to FOX that the House of Representative was extending the Peloton Corporate Wellness offer to its staff starting next week. They certainly didn't tell the public this plan, and now that we know, what is their rationale?

The report generated backlash online where various media figures noted that the move shows how the government has their heads up their nether regions considering the myriad problems the country is facing with the incompetent leadership.
Desperate parents can't find baby formula – Congress has yet to take action…..BUT
Lawmakers can now order liquor directly to their Capitol Hill offices
Lawmakers & staff will now have free access to the Peloton app

— John Roberts (@johnrobertsFox)
“Membership cost $10 per month but taxpayers could be funding up to 10k staffers per month,” sports reporter Lisa Horne tweeted. “Our government is completely tone deaf to what most Americans are facing right now.”

It isn't just about being tone deaf--they're acting like thieves. There is no reason staffers, who make significantly more income than the general public, should be given freebies that the rest of us pay for while we also pay their salaries.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that the Consumer Price Index increased 8.3% in April from a year ago, which is higher than the projected 8.1%, which also sucks, but not quite as much.

The report also noted that supply chain disruptions, which have been a problematic issue throughout the pandemic, have worsened with the Russian invasion in Ukraine and China going into lockdown again due to a rise in coronavirus cases.

“Energy prices, including gasoline, have gone up. Truck drivers, seaport slots and warehouse spaces are all in short supply, leading to costly delays and rising shipping rates for goods,” the report delineated. “Fewer workers are in the labor market, encouraging those who are working to demand raises. And low interest rates from the Federal Reserve have made borrowing cheaper, making big purchases more attractive.”

WTF?

Florida's state bird is now the middle finger where COVID is concerned

President Biden got his symbolic butt kicked in Florida during the 2020 presidential election, which is why there is no love lost by him for the state. This is especially true about his feelings for the state's governor, Ron DeSantis.

But more than the election loss, Biden is obviously peeved over the freedom Florida's residents have and the business friendly policies, all of which treat Floridians as adults, not like children sucking at the teat of Big Brother.

Unlike Democratic [i.e., leftist] governors, DeSantis is willing to go up against Sleepy Joe on mandates and other measures that impact on individual rights and go against the U.S. Constitution, a document the left would like to tear up and throw away in order to grab more power.

Currently, Biden is trying to use the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a hammer to enforce COVID mandates across the country. OSHA is run by an unelected group of people who are not legally entitled to enforce a jaywalking ticket, much less a vaccine mandate on people who, for whatever reason, do not want to receive the jab.

However, Fox Business has reported that Florida isn’t going to submit to this mandate without a fight.

When the person pulling Biden's strings had him babble that OSHA would be the tool to enforce the unconstitutional vaccine, whoever is behind the curtain thought he or she or them was in the clear.

Wrong.

Gov. DeSantis is now considering whether they will ditch OSHA altogether, and they have the right to do so. The Florida state legislature will be reviewing OSHA's future in the state next week during a special session.

Florida House Speaker, Chris Sprowls, said that Florida is eager to cut ties with OSHA and push for its own regulatory powers. The state refuses to sit back and do nothing while OSHA tries to turn businesses into government hostages.

State lawmakers will be implementing new protections to safeguard workers from this tyrannical government's vaccine mandates.

The administration [whoever is running it] is becoming increasingly aware that their vaccine mandate isn't going to win in court. This is precisely the reason the administration is pressuring businesses to move ahead on their own and push for medical mandates, in spite of the Federal Appeals Court's decision to pause it at the moment.

It's no mystery why so many people are leaving Democrat-run states to move to the Sunshine State, where they can lay out on the beach, soak up the freedom, and flip the bird.
