Taco Bell Introduces Authentic "Runs for the Border" Experience, CDC Confirms It Was Perhaps Too Authentic

ATLANTA, AP, Taco Bell customers across five states have reportedly discovered that the chain's slogan now comes with a stopwatch after federal health officials confirmed that lettuce from Mexico was the source of a widespread cyclospora outbreak.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention identified shredded iceberg lettuce served at Taco Bell locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia as the culprit behind an outbreak that turned drive thru visits into drive by emergencies.

The CDC warned consumers not to eat the lettuce, while countless customers admitted that warning would have been much more helpful before lunch.

A Food and Drug Administration investigation traced the lettuce to a single supplier, whose identity remains secret, presumably because witness protection now extends to produce distributors.

"FDA is working with the supplier of iceberg lettuce to determine if potentially contaminated shredded iceberg lettuce remains on the market," including in other states, the CDC said. "Taco Bell has committed to stop using any lettuce from the supplier identified by FDA's traceback investigation."

Translation, somewhere in America, a warehouse full of lettuce is being interrogated under a bright lamp.

Federal investigators have been tracking the outbreak alongside public health officials as infections continue climbing. More than 30 states have reported cases this year, pushing totals beyond the previous U.S. record of roughly 4,700 infections set in 2019.

Public health experts insist the illness is usually not life threatening, a comforting message delivered to people currently memorizing every restroom location between home and work.

Earlier this week Taco Bell announced it had "voluntarily and temporarily removed limited ingredients at select restaurants as a precautionary measure. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and follow the guidance of public health authorities."

Translation again, the lettuce has been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation.

Cyclospora is a microscopic parasite that causes watery diarrhea "with frequent and sometimes explosive bowel movements," according to the CDC, making it perhaps the only government description that requires no embellishment whatsoever.

Officials say the parasite spreads through food contaminated by fecal matter, often from irrigation water. Somehow this fact still failed to convince people that ordering "extra lettuce" might not be the healthiest life choice.

Experts attribute the growing number of cases to climate change and improved detection methods, because in modern America every story must eventually arrive at climate change, even if it first makes several urgent stops at the restroom. Meanwhile, ordinary Americans have developed a simpler theory, perhaps restaurants should ensure the lettuce is not imported with complimentary parasites.

Obama appointed judge fired over sex scandal

FOX Business contributor Katrina Campins broke down the mess of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis's personal relationship with Nathan Wade on Jesse Watters Primetime.U.S. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon dropped a motion on Friday to get Atlanta U.S. District Judge Eleanor Ross tossed from a major election integrity case. Why? Because Ross admitted she went to a partisan Democrat fundraiser for Fani Willis, which is flat out illegal and screams she is anything but impartial.

But that is just the warm up for Ross's greatest hits album of judicial disgrace. 

Turns out that Ross, who is married, has been carrying on for years banging Atlanta deputy police chief Kelley Collier right there in her chambers during work hours. Staff overheard the sexual noises. When she got caught, she lied about it and then retaliated against the people who reported her.

This is textbook workplace sexual misconduct, lying, and obstruction of justice, folks. 

And what did the federal judiciary do about it? Gave her a freaking private reprimand. Yes, a private reprimand. That is the judicial equivalent of a participation trophy for being a sleazy embarassment. Ross should resign immediately or get impeached by Congress. She should also face federal criminal charges for lying to investigators.

The Atlanta Police Department has tons of cases in front of Ross's court. 

Collier, her regular courthouse hookup, is a nearly thirty year veteran who runs the Community Services Division and, oh yeah, he is also married. 

The Eleventh Circuit Judicial Council actually said it was only by pure happenstance that Ross never got assigned any cases from that division while she was banging the deputy chief. Relying on luck to avoid a screaming conflict of interest does not make you ethical. It makes you lucky and gross. Nothing indicates she would have ended the affair if a case had landed on her desk. 

Ross is  married to DeKalb County Circuit Judge Brian Ross. I wonder how he's taking it.

This went on right under the noses of her law clerks, young lawyers who were supposed to look up to her as a role model as opposed to a "Fans Only" woman. One former clerk had to blow the whistle to disciplinary authorities. She turned her fancy judicial chambers into a cheap love shack for several years, from 2023 until 2025. 

When staff pushed back on her illegal behavior, she cursed them out. Retaliating against whistleblowers has zero place in the federal judiciary.

Ross, an Obama appointee, also showed up at the victory party for Fani Willis, the same legal train wreck who brought that ridiculous, politically motivated indictment against President Trump and nearly twenty other defendants in 2023. Courts eventually booted Willis after it came out she was sleeping with special prosecutor Nathan Wade. 

Judges are not supposed to attend these partisan Democrat love clusterfracks. Ethical canons exist for a reason.

Ross showed zero integrity when Eleventh Circuit Chief Judge William Pryor confronted her. She flat out denied everything and called the allegations outrageous. She knew she was lying through her teeth. If a lawyer pulled that stunt in court, they would be disbarred and possibly prosecuted for contempt. But the Judicial Council went soft on Ross, kept the reprimand private, and refused to name her. That lack of transparency is garbage. The public has every right to know which judge is abusing her office, lying about it, retaliating, and trying to cover it up. 

She is a caught liar with no business on the federal bench. This fiasco is exactly why Congress needs to pass Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley's bill for an independent inspector general over the federal judiciary. These judges cannot police themselves, and for one in particular, don't even mention the word 'police,' it gets her all steamy hot.

Her eventual confession changes nothing. 

The council made her skip being chief judge of the Northern District and say sorry to the staff she screwed over. Big whoop. These are pathetic slaps on the wrist. As it stands, Ross keeps collecting that sweet lifetime federal paycheck and benefits. Other judges with half a spine have resigned over less. She should do the same. The Justice Department needs to prosecute her, and the House should impeach her.

Funny how Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff has been completely MIA on this. 

Ross sits on the bench in his home state. Her antics have humiliated the Northern District of Georgia, the whole state, and the federal judiciary. Ossoff, a full-blown coward, has not called for her resignation, has not demanded transparency, and has not said a single public word about why they shielded her from accountability. That silence is deliberate, and Georgians should remember it come election time. 

Ross is a complete disgrace to the judiciary. She should slink away with whatever dignity she has left and be replaced by someone who understands that judicial chambers are not a Motel 6 for afternoon delights that the whole staff has to hear. 

The Senate Judiciary Committee, where Ossoff ought to be leading the charge instead of playing hide and seek, should demand answers on why her name stayed secret. Most important, the Justice Department needs to open a criminal investigation into the false statements she made to Pryor and her obstruction of justice. The judiciary and the country deserve way better than Eleanor Ross.

Kamala 'does a Hillary' to pander to y'all Black folk with fake southern accent

"I got me my hot sauce and I ain't no way tired, hahahahahahahaha"

Undercover POTUS Kamala Harris is hardly a Black woman from down south. Her mother, Shyamala Gopalan Harris, who passed away from colon cancer in 2009, was Indian,  born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, [where my wife is from, by the way] and came to the US in 1958 and earned a PhD in nutrition and endocrinology.

Harris' father, Donald Jasper Harris, is from Brown's Town, Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica. He holds a PhD in economics and married Shyamala in 1963. The couple had two daughters, Kamala and Maya. The couple divorced when Kamala was seven years old. Donald wrote an essay in 2018 about his family lineage including slave owner Hamilton Brown, as his ancestor. 

But to hear Kamala Harris during a speech  in Atlanta, you would think she was a Black lady from down south. It's obvious that she, like Hillary Rotten Clinton, will pander to anyone to get their vote.

"You all helped us win in 2020 and we gonna do it again in 2024," Harris, who is from California, told Atlanta rally goers while seemingly trying out a new and unconvincing accent. 

She was immediately blasted on social media for her pandering.

"Kamala Harris went to speak in Atlanta and now has a southern accent,"  Clay Travis OutKick founder wrote on X. "Why do people do this? It’s just so transparently fake.

"Do people do this with any other regional accents?" Travis questioned in a subsequent post. "I don’t think so. No one goes to Massachusetts and suddenly talks like a Kennedy. It’s only the South."

Travis’ post garnered several replies from critics of the vice president’s accent.

"It's what sociopaths do," one reply said.

"It’s called mirroring and it is a strong narcissistic tendency," another person said.

The moment also caught the attention of conservative columnist Ian Haworth.

"Kamala Harris’s fake southern accent puts Hillary Clinton to shame," Haworth said on X, referencing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s widely mocked use of a southern accent at various stages of her career in politics.

Harris will do anything, and now we know she will say anything, to gain more political power. If she wins in November, the United States will have a far-left lunatic who is not very bright, running the country . . . into the ground.

It was H. L. Mencken who said, "Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard."

This perfectly characterizes where America now stands. If Donald J. Trump fails to defeat the daughter of Donald J. Harris in November, it will be a true disaster.

BREAKING: Judge decides if Nathan Wade's former lawyer will take the stand again

BREAKING: Judge Scott McAfee has determined that Terrance Bradley, the former lawyer and friend of Nathan Wade will take the stand again and testify on information in the case that is not protected under attorney-client privilege. This will likely be a huge deciding factor in how McAfee will rule.

The Fulton County, GA District Attorney, Fani Willis insists vehemently that her "personal relationship" with her former paramour Nathan Wade, did not take place before she hired him on the Trump RICO election interference case. But telephone records strongly suggests otherwise. The outcome of Judge Scott McAfee's decision will determine whether Wade will try the case as charged and possibly have either Willis, Wade, or both disbarred and the case thrown out altogether. In other words, what Willis claims about Trump et al, is what she is on trial for. She says she is not on trial, and technically she's right, but let's face it--she's on trial for her career and possibly later charged with perjury.

Right now the issue is the cellular data from AT&T by Trump's attorneys. Trump is just one of the 19 defendants charged by Willis in her sprawling racketeering case, and her lover, Wade, has no experience with these types of cases yet is being paid over $650,000 for his time--more than her own attorneys under her.

The phone logs show almost 12,000 texts and 2,000 phone calls between Wade and Willis, prior to Wade being hired by her. That is definitely a bad look.

The phone data also allegedly shows no less than 35 wee hours visits by Wade to Willis' apartment in Atlanta's Hapeville neighborhood.

Willis, who seems to think people are gullible, says the analysis  “was not filed in good faith but instead is nothing more than another attempt to garner salacious headlines in the media.” So facts don't matter, eh?

Incredibly, she speculates whether former President Trump “illegally obtained cell site location information, which is generally only obtainable after a finding of probable cause and issuance of a search warrant.” 

Trump’s legal team says a private detective in their employ gained the phone records through a lawful subpoena. [Can we get an LOL?]

The content of the texts remains private, but if the correspondence proves an affair that antedates Wade’s appointment, that would contradict the claim both prosecutors have made — under oath — that their intimacy began only after Wade was named special prosecutor and could not have been the motivation for his hiring. Trump and other defendants said that the outlandish payments Wade has received — and spent on joint trips — amount to an incurable conflict of interest.

The decision as to whether the phone records will be entered into evidence is Judge Scott McAfee’s to make, and he will likely do so ahead of a March 1 hearing he has called for further argument on the disqualification question. Willis, in a Friday filing, argued that they “do not prove anything relevant” and “do not prove, in any way, the content of the communications between Special Prosecutor Wade and District Attorney Willis.”

In legal terms, this is what is known as "grasping for straws."

Willis labels Trump’s submission, which is founded on an analysis by a private investigator, Charles Mittelstadt, as “unqualified opinion evidence.” She also claims that Mr. Mittlestadt’s qualifications have not been fully vetted but it turns out that he's fully qualified. Trump’s attorneys responded that the analyst’s credentials are not at issue — instead, the ballast of the claim that Willis and Wade are lying are “data that was produced by AT&T in response to the lawfully issued subpoena.”

Sensing the danger to her stewardship of the case shown by the phone logs, Willis writes that the “records do nothing more than demonstrate that Special Prosecutor Wade’s telephone was located somewhere within a densely populated multiple-mile radius where various residences, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and other businesses are located.”

So perhaps he was getting drunk, getting laid, or having a bite to eat at 3 a.m.

Willis adds that the proffered pieces of evidence “do not prove that Special Prosecutor Wade and District Attorney Willis were ever in the same place during any of the times listed.” Her filing also notes that “on multiple relevant dates and times” Ms. Willis and Mr. Wade were “VISITING THE THREE CRIME SCENES WHERE A MASS MURDER MOTIVATED BY RACE AND GENDER BIAS HAD TAKEN PLACE.”

And if you believe that, you might be a woke liberal.

On Monday, Judge McAfee met in camera, with a former law partner of Wade, Terrence Bradley. 

Bradley also handled Wade’s divorce from his wife of 26 years, Joycelyn, who just wasn't doing it for Wade anymore. 

The defendants maintain that Bradley possesses information showing that Wade’s extramarital affair with Willis predated his appointment to the case. Bradley admitted on the stand that he left Wade’s employ due to accusations of sexual harassment.

There might just be a "Perry Mason Moment." Stay tuned.

SPLC lawyer charged as terrorist after Atlanta riot: the organization bad-mouths the cops

A leftist staff lawyer for the leftist organization Southern Poverty Law Center, which dubs itself as a civil rights group [except when it comes to Christians, police, and straight White men, which they label as "hate groups"] was arrested Sunday on terrorism charges. 

The lawyer, Thomas Webb Jurgens, took part in terrorism acts by throwing rocks, Molotov cocktails, and shooting fireworks at police at a training center outside of Atlanta, Georgia.

According to DeKalb County Jail records, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested Jurgens, a 6-foot male with brown hair and brown eyes, on Sunday, March 5. Webb faces one charge of “domestic terrorism.”

According to his LinkedIn bio, Jurgens worked at the Southern Poverty Law Center since 2021 after graduating from the University of Georgia School of law in 2019.

Jurgens appears as a member in good standing on the website of the State Bar of Georgia, but if convicted of domestic terrorism, this may affect his good standing.

Authorities detained 35 people Sunday, charging 23 with domestic terrorism, following the riot. Jurgens’ name appears on the list.

“On March 5, 2023, a group of violent agitators used the cover of a peaceful protest of the proposed Atlanta Public Safety Training Center to conduct a coordinated attack on construction equipment and police officers,” Atlanta police reported Sunday. “They changed into black clothing and entered the construction area and began to throw large rocks, bricks, Molotov cocktails, and fireworks at police officers.”

According to police, the terrorists “destroyed multiple pieces of construction equipment by fire and vandalism.”

“The illegal actions of the agitators could have resulted in bodily harm,” police added. “Officers exercised restraint and used nonlethal enforcement to conduct arrests.”

On Tuesday, a judge granted Jurgens bond for the terrorism charge regarding "Cop City."

Jurgens and one other suspect claims to have been a legal observer on behalf of the National Lawyers Guild. 

Prosecutors say the crowd was dressed in camouflage or dark clothing and some carried homemade metal shields. Jurgens' lawyer told the judge that his client was wearing a bright yellow hat with National Lawyers Guild written on it and a bright green shirt.

Though the state contends, "simply because you’re an attorney doesn’t mean you can’t commit a crime," a prosecutor said they would consent to bond for Jurgens at this time.

Judge AW Davis granted Jurgens’ bond, setting the amount at $5,000.

Jurgens’s attorney did say his client intended to post that amount and waived a preliminary hearing.

Davis denied bond for about a dozen other defendants as Tuesday’s hearing continued.

So what did the SPLC, a group that has labeled conservative and Christian organizations as "hate groups" do? They spoke out against the police--the victims in this case--exposing their political bias in a public press release, calling the law enforcement response as 'heavy handed.'

Like the "mostly peaceful" demonstrations, which were riots by any standard, the SPLC has made themselves obvious as to where they stand. Burning down machinery equipment, throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at police should not be responded to with defensive force, which is what the police used. Maybe if the police used social workers, they could reason with the domestic terrorists.

Maybe the SPLC has rainbows shooting out of its nether regions.

The SPLC press release proves that they are anything but neutral.

It's time to get fed up and do something.

BREAKING: Far-Left rioters attack police and buildings in Atlanta

Since they are likely to be Antifa rioters, the violence and destruction they have leveled on downtown Atlanta has been mostly peaceful. The excuse this time started out as a protest over the death of a local leftist.

The rioters have been setting police cars on fire, throwing rocks at buildings and using bad words. But according to Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum, the group began a peaceful protest before becoming less than peaceful.

“However, when that group arrived at the intersection of Ellis Street and Peachtree Street, a group inside that marching crowd decided to start committing illegal acts including breaking windows and attacking police cruisers that were in the area,” Schierbaum said.

In one video on Twitter, a  willfully blind local reporter can be heard attempting to downplay the scene, referring to the protest as “largely peaceful.” I was kidding when I said 'mostly peaceful,' but this idiot actually wanted people to believe this narrative. Here's a more accurate take:

The Atlanta Police Department said in a statement that they responded to the rioters “damaging property at several locations along Peachtree [Street].”

“Several arrests have been made at this time and order has been restored to the downtown space,” APD added. “This is still an active and ongoing investigation, and we will not be able to provide specifics on arrests numbers or property damaged, at this time.”

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp obviously condemned the violence in a statement posted to social media and said that the riot would not be tolerated.

But at least this wasn't like Jan. 6th where nothing got burned but hundreds got arrested and one unarmed female military veteran, Ashlie Babbitt, was shot and killed by a trigger happy Capitol police lieutenant, Michael Byrd, who got away with the murder.

Anyway, back to the governor.

“Violence and unlawful destruction of property are not acts of protest,” Kemp said. “They are crimes that will not be tolerated in Georgia and will be prosecuted fully. Thank you to the hardworking [Georgia Department of Public Safety, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Atlanta Police Department], and others actively keeping our streets safe tonight.”

Male swimmer tied for 5th place against the women in the 200

Lia Thomas, formerly known as Will Thomas, is a man who swims on the women's UPenn swim team because he says that he identifies as a woman in spite of the fact that he is a guy with a penis and testicles and confessed to a team member that he sexually attracted to women.

Anyway, the dude is competing against women in Atlanta at the women's swimming and diving national championships and was unable to beat 5 women in the 200-yard freestyle final. He came in tied for 5th place with a time of 143.40 which, had he competed against fellow fellows, would have likely put him much deeper at the end of the pack.

A video taken by Fox News Digital shows Thomas getting leaving the pool after his mediocre finish and one can see that he was being ignored by the women who competed as they cheer and hug each other after the event. As he walks alone with his cap and balls, passing several women who do not acknowledge his existence the loud cheers are a reminder that Lia Thomas is not well received by his women competitors because he is, after all is said and done, a man who is capitalizing on his biological advantages and still cannot beat the fastest women in the sport.

Even the crowd was a lot quieter when he was announced prior to the race, and after when the race officials announced the results.

But to has masculine credit, Thomas won the women's national championship in the 500-yard freestyle and has become the first man to do so.

Sadly, even Fox News refers to his pronouns as "she," and "her" obviously lacking the courage to challenge the left's narrative that a man can be a woman by mind shifting or some such baldersnatch. 

Thomas began competing for the University of Pennsylvania in the women's events this year after three years of racing against his own gender and not being as successful because he isn't that fast as his male competition. So he evidently decided that if he says he's a she, he would kick butt in the water.

The fact that the NCAA allows this nonsense and denial of biological advantages a man generally has over women in sports, is disgusting. And the fact that the women who compete against this charlatan do not stand up for themselves and refuse to compete against him, is sad.

Car Mah? "Defund the Police" supporter gets his car stolen in broad daylight by children

Atlanta, GA -- They say that karma is a bitch, but that just gives female dogs a bad name. But karma was exactly what happened to Atlanta city councilman Antonio Brown on Wednesday.

Brown was at a ribbon-cutting ceremony around noon when about four children jumped into his car and gleefully took off, leaving him to wonder what the hell is going on?

"You don’t immediately think, ‘Oh, these kids are going to steal my car,’" Brown said, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The operant words for Brown are: 'You don't immediately think.'

Brown, who has a winning smile and no car, joined the city's mayoral race less than three weeks ago, is running on a campaign of "reimagining public safety," the newspaper reported.

Last year, when he still had a car, he voted in support of an ordinance to withhold $73 million from the budget of the Atlanta Police Department. The ordinance was narrowly voted down, proving not every progressive is totally oblivious to reality; just most of them.

Brown said the thieves jumped in his car Wednesday after he got out to speak with community leader Ben Norman. He mentioned that his white Mercedes-Benz coupe has keyless push-to-start ignition and he failed to realize it had been started by the kids as they drove off, hoping to travel to places near and far.

The councilman described the kids as being between ages 6 and 12, FOX 5 reported. It was likely that the 12-year-old was able to reach the gas pedal while the others had recently finished their toilet training.

"One kid was in the driver’s seat. Ben attempted to open the door to get him out of the car. He fought with Ben. I then engaged and tried to get him out of the car. The three other kids were trying to figure out how to get in the car or stay out of the car. He started to hit on the gas," Brown said.

Brown added that he held on to the car in an attempt to stop them and was dragged about a block down the road before letting go. 

It was like a comedy about a seedy politician who was the arch enemy of the local police and one day became the victim of a crime perpetrated by children.

"As he started to speed up, and I knew that if I had not let go, I knew I probably could have killed myself because he was going so fast, I would have started to tumble. And I would have hurt him," the councilman said, sounding a bit like Joe Biden. [How would his tumbling hurt the driver?]

"I'm trading this in for the real thing"

Brown doesn't plan on filing charges against the kids, who he says, reading their young minds, acted out of desperation. Atlanta's WSB-TV reported. 

"This is a generational poverty issue. These kids, it’s 12:30 in the afternoon. Why aren’t they in school? Why aren’t we enforcing systems to ensure that if they are not in school, they’re in recreational centers?" he asked naively. 

One possibility as to why they're not in school is the probability they come from fatherless homes with no supervision--just a guess.

Atlanta police, who were not defunded yet, are investigating.

By the way, Brown is under indictment on federal fraud charges related to alleged incidents that occurred several years prior to him winning the council seat in 2019, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. No wonder he wants to defund the police.

Local media reporters in Chicago are alleging that Democrat Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is selecting who gets to do one-on-one interviews with her based on the race of the interviewer.

NBC 5 political reporter Mary Ann Ahern made the initial allegation on Twitter, writing: “As ⁦ @chicagosmayor ⁩ reaches her two year midway point as mayor, her spokeswoman says Lightfoot is granting 1 on 1 interviews – only to Black or Brown journalists.”

Chicago PBS news anchor Paris Schultz responded: “I was told the same thing.”

Lightfoot’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Daily Wire or Fox News.

“It is unclear when such a practice was enacted and if it only applies to local reporters, particularly after her MSNBC appearance with Stephanie Ruhle on Monday,” Fox News reported. “During her MSNBC interview, Lightfoot told Ruhle she would ‘encourage’ Chicago residents to continue wearing masks despite the new CDC guidance allowing those with the coronavirus vaccine to go without them.”

“I know for me personally, I’m going to continue to wear a mask in public and I’m going to encourage others to do so,” Lightfoot told Ruhle. “We’ve got to make sure that people are continuing to follow the public health guidance that has gotten us this far, and masks, I think, are a big and important part of that.”

Lightfoot said on Tuesday afternoon that her decision to continue to encourage people to wear masks was not based on distrust of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“But I think their guidance last week regarding masks has people confused…We need clarification,” Lightfoot said. “We still have a long way to go to hit the critical mass (of vaccinations) or herd immunity. I don’t want people to have false confidence.”

“To say, ‘If you’re vaccinated, you don’t have to wear a mask,’ that’s great. But what about all of the other people who are out there that aren’t vaccinated?” Lightfoot added. “There’s no way to know that. So I think for the time being, most people are gonna continue to wear masks outside of their homes.”

Woke MLB moving All-Star game from mostly Black city to mostly White city

In spite of the fact that New York voting laws are more restrictive than those of Georgia's, Major League Baseball's commissioner, Rob Manfred, is too cowardly to stand his ground and has given in to the woke minority. He will be moving the 2021 All-Star game to Denver in spite of the huge number of Black residents and others it will hurt in Atlanta.

According to U.S. Census numbers, Atlanta is 51% Black; Denver is 9% percent Black. So the move will hurt Black businesses significantly more in Georgia while helping White businesses in Colorado. How "woke" can you get?

Nearly 30% of businesses in Atlanta are Black-owned, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The game will now be played at Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies and lots of White people.

According to 2019 U.S. Census data, Atlanta is 51% Black and 40.9% White, while Denver is 9.2% Black and 76% White.

Democrats have lied about the changes made in Georgia's new voting laws. They claim it will make it harder for people of color to vote. Some may even die of dehydration or starvation if you believe their lies, especially the lies spouted by President Biden.

As it turns out, Georgia has more opportunities to vote compared to states like New York, run by a Democrat and alleged sexual predator Andrew Cuomo.

But that's woke for you.

Atlanta wants private security at $1.6 M: "guns to protect me, not so much thee"

City Council members of Atlanta, Georgia are willing to defund the police because they are also willing to have taxpayers fund $1.6 million to hire private security to protect them because crime there is rising for some reason they can't figure out. The rich don't need to worry as much without police protecting them when they can hire their own guns with no cost to them. 

It's the Democratic thing to do.

The security force is specifically being considered to protect the wealthy area known as the Buckhead neighborhood. [I don't have to tell you what regular folks call that area--use your imagination.]

The fear comes after a shooting near a Buckhead mall that left a 7-year-old girl dead. the Independent reports, as gun violence continues to grow while these idiots want to defund their police because they are woke.

The city council has an entire plan specifically for Buckhead, per a “Buckhead Security Plan” slide deck made available on Monday. 

The plan includes, “Funding and establishing a supplementary, multi-car dedicated security patrol utilizing off-duty sworn officers of APD, Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, and Georgia State Patrol. The supplementary patrol will be for exclusive use within Buckhead commercial corridors and will be managed by the Zone 2 Commander at APD to augment on-duty APD patrol (NT).”

What remains of the police force is designed to work “in tandem” with existing law enforcement bureaus, and the city council is committing $125,000 to the effort initially. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution puts the final cost of the program, however, at a cool $1.6 million of taxpayer money.

“The private police are scheduled to start patrols in January,” the Independent notes.

Homicides in Atlanta have climbed over 155, "the most since 1998," according to the Journal-Constitution. Bill Campbell, a Democrat, was mayor at that time. In fact The last Republican mayor of Atlanta was Nedom L. Angier who left office in 1879. All subsequent mayors have been Democrats.

The Atlanta authorities did not want to accept responsibility for the crime surge. The Atlanta police chief Rodney Bryant blamed COVID-19 and the lockdowns for sparking the city's residents' criminal behavior as opposed to the defunding of police and left's oxymoron tendency to decriminalize crime.

“There are no other areas to socialize, people find themselves – there’s no football games to go to, there’s no high school football games to go to,” Bryant said, suggesting that the only other alternative was to participate in violence. Makes perfect sense . . . if you're stupid.

Atlanta’s woke mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms, who was on Biden's short list to become Vice President, seemed clueless.

“We owe it to our children, as well as to all of our communities, to do everything in our power to eliminate gun violence,” she said. “If there are solutions that we have not explored and enacted, I welcome the suggestions.”

Maybe she should propose a contest. Whoever comes up with the best idea tp decrease gun violence wins a ride-along with the Buckhead security force as they fight crime in the tony area of Atlanta.

Although the city council voted against "defunding the police," as per local media, Bottoms noted, during the summer BLM and Antifa riots, that city authorities could soon begin the process of rerouting funds destined for law enforcement initiatives to other community-focused efforts. Makes perfect sense . . . if you're stupid.

Since making those statements, there has been a severe decline in police morale and an associated "sick out" that saw officers walk off the job over Atlanta's decision to charge officer Garrett Rolfe with felony murder in the shooting death of Rayshard Brooks.

Bottoms later addressed officers directly and begged them to return to work.

Raphael Warnock blasted for interfering in child abuse case

Communist dictator-loving Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate for Georgia, Raphael Warnock, is in a race against Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler. The election is to take place on January 5th of next year.

As the runoff election gets closer and hotter, Maryland State police are criticizing Warnock for his role in a child abuse case.

A resurfaced police file from 2002, indicates that Warnock was “extremely uncooperative” and “disruptive” towards a probe into child abuse. The alleged abuse took place at a summer camp affiliated with his church in which he is a leftist pastor.

The Washington Free Beacon obtained a copy of the report from Maryland State Police outlining allegations from police that claim Warnock obstructed an investigation into a non-sexual abuse case at ‘Camp Farthest Out’ in Eldersburg, Maryland.

The report states that Warnock and another so-called 'reverend' "interfered by interrupting interviews and directing people not to talk to investigators.” In other words, Warnock was putting the alleged perpetrator ahead of the victim. 

According to reports, Warnock and his church associate refused to allow children to be questioned without them being present, which could, of course, intimidate the kids into not providing damning information regarding the incident. In addition, the report also states the second pastor grabbed a child’s arm and told them not to answer questions.

During the Senate runoff debate, Sen. Loeffler asked Warnock about his alarming history.

“Reverend Warnock, you were arrested for obstructing police in the arrests in a child abuse investigation,” Loeffler began. “Can you tell me the nature of this child abuse? Why were the police called and what was your knowledge or involvement in this incident?”

“Here are the facts, and Kelly Loeffler actually knows them,” Warnock stated, as if her knowing the facts impugned her justification for asking. “I was working and trying to make sure that young people, who were being questioned by law enforcement, had the benefit of counsel, a lawyer or a parent.”

It sounds more like Warnock was worried his church would have a soiled reputation.

During the police interviews, the far Left senate hopeful tried to request lawyers for camp workers, in spite of the fact that the law permits interviewees to request lawyers for themselves and the so-called reverend is not permitted to do so on their behalf, although he did his damndest to try and was arrested for hindering and obstructing the investigation. Sadly, the charges were dropped 3 months later.

Warnock allegedly left the church around the same time, but according to state officials, the case records are mysteriously missing. Where could they be? Who could have snatched them?

Georgia’s two Senate runoff elections will determine which political party will control the upper chamber of Congress. If the Democrats should win, the country will swing way over toward Venezuela.

FBI busts BLM activist for allegedly spending $200K in donations

Tyree Conyers-Page, 32, [aka Sir Maejor Page[ was arrested Friday in Toledo, OH, charged with one count of wire fraud and two counts of money laundering, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Page is an Atlanta-based Black Lives Matter (BLM) activist.

Page allegedly used donation money, that is, money slated to fund the purchase of Molotov cocktail bottles and gasoline, focused laser lights, bats, shields, weapons, fireworks, black clothing, and transportation to protests. Instead, he used it for personal purchases such as tailored suits, guns and security systems.

Page allegedly operated a Facebook page called "Black Lives Matter of Greater Atlanta," a non-profit organization with a semantically overloaded name. That is, the name Black Lives Matter is designed to mean more than the simple statement. It implies that anyone who refuses to go along with their socialist agenda is a racist. It also implies that if you refuse to fight racism actively, that makes you a racist.

BLM accepted monetary donations under the guise of using the money to fight against racial injustice by labeling everyone who refuses to raise a power fist and chant "Black Lives Matter" a racist and deserves to have the crap beat out of them or worse.

Black Lives Matter of Greater Atlanta solicited donations on GoFundMe, where the organization was listed as a non-profit. Page assured donors that "none of the funds have been used for personal items," according to the FBI.

According to authorities, a bank account titled "Black Lives Matter of Greater Atlanta, Inc." was opened in 2018. Page was the only signatory on the account. 

Between April 2018 and May 2020, the bank account's balance never exceeded $5,000, but donations started pouring in following the death of George Floyd in late May. Officials say between June and August of this year, $467,342.18 in donations were transferred to the BLMGA bank account that Page controlled, as reported by WTOL-TV. 

Fun Fact: the 18 cents was donated by little Tommy Smith, 8, from Sheboygan, WI, who sold his rubber dinosaur to Jimmy Jones from down the block. 

The FBI said Page used a personal debit card linked to the same BLM bank account  to make personal purchases. He shared the wealth with himself and reportedly used the donations to buy food, entertainment, tailored suits, furniture, guns, and a home security system.

Since early August, Page's Instagram and social media videos have featured an increased amount of new clothes, including posts about tailored suits, "nice cufflinks," and "$150 ties."

Now that's socialism at work: everyone shares and the big bucks go right up to the top of the pyramid.

Cop charged in Rayshard Brooks shooting sues mayor and police chief

Garrett Rolfe, a former officer of the Atlanta PD filed a lawsuit against Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, a Democrat, and interim police Chief Rodney Bryant to get his job back.

Rolfe filed suit on Tuesday in Fulton County Superior Court. He was fired from the job earlier this summer and charged with felony murder, among the eleven total counts, in the death of Rayshard Brooks in June. 

Rolfe states that his firing was unconstitutional.

The lawsuit states that his use of force against Brooks, who fired a taser at Rolfe as he ran away from police, “was proper and in compliance with Georgia law.” Anyone who saw the tape of what happened should agree with the former cop.

The lawsuit states that Rolfe was terminated from the job “without an investigation, without proper notice, without a pre-disciplinary hearing, and in direct violation of the municipal code of the city of Atlanta.” 

Basically, the firing appears to have been accelerated due to political pressure and the fact that Lance Bottoms is being considered as Joe Biden's VP running mate if he finally gets the Democratic nomination.

Rolfe's lawsuit further noted  that the other officer involved, Devin Brosnan, was not fired and was instead placed on administration leave, according to NBC News.

The lawsuit pointed out that what happened to Rolfe was atypical of protocol within the department. “Many other city of Atlanta police officers who have been charged with crimes, including felonies, have remained employed during the investigation and pendency of their criminal charges,” the lawsuit stated.

This is simply a case of police brutality--not by the police, but to the police officer by the city. The shooting of Rayshard Brooks was justified when he tasered Brosnan then turned as he ran and tried to taser Rolfe. Had Brooks been successful, Rolfe may have been killed once he was rendered helpless.

Any normal human being would have done the same thing.

Atlanta Mayor admits police morale is Down 'Ten-fold'--begs cops return after walkout

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms agrees with the fact that police morale is "down ten-old." It's unclear exactly what gave it away to her but it may have been due to the dozens of officers who called in sick or refused to leave their precincts after the Fulton County DA decided to charge former officer Garrett Rolfe with felony murder of Rayshard Brooks [for carrying out proper procedure and stopping an intoxicated man from firing a taser into his face].

Bottoms also begged police to honor their commitment to their community and return to patrol, unlike the community refusing to honor proper legal procedure and wait for an indictment before firing Rolfe and making speeches implying his guilt.

“I think ours is down ten-fold,” Bottoms told the Compromised News Network anchor and block of wood Chris "Fredo" Cuomo in regard to Atlanta PD’s department morale. “This has been a very tough few weeks in Atlanta and with the tragedy of Mr. Brooks, and then on top of that the excessive force charges that were brought against the officers involved with the college students, there’s a lot happening in our city, and the police officers are receiving the brunt of it quite frankly.

She went on to pretend that the Atlanta city government has “a great working relationship with police” and that the issues with morale were temporary and may be assuaged when the city finally elects a conservative mayor.

“In fact, our officers were given a historic pay raise by our administration, and it was so our officers wouldn’t have to work three jobs and be fatigued so that they could afford to live in the city of Atlanta, so they wouldn’t be resentful about policing our streets so that we could have the best to choose from on our force,” Bottoms told Cuomo, who just stared off into space thinking about the gym. “We expect that our officers will keep their commitment to our communities.”

And your officers expect you would keep your commitment to them and not overcharge them with criminal behavior they didn't exhibit. 

Rolfe was totally justified in shooting Brooks after he took down both Rolfe and his partner, grabbed a taser from one of them, ran, turned around and fired at Rolfe who returned fire with lethal force--by the book.

“Atlanta police officers are not responding to calls in three of the department’s six zones,” CNN reported late Wednesday “Atlanta police officers each patrol one of six zones covering some 500,000 residents who live in the city limits. They also cover Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.” 

Meanwhile, it is not known whether Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is one of the many airports that CNN pays $100,000 each to broadcast its anti-Trump coverage in the terminals.

Atlanta police denied that officers had organized a walkout, but Georgia police union officials appeared to confirm reports of a “blue flu.”

If they run into trouble, they can always call Antifa.

Ex-NFLer allegedly trashed his 2 businesses to make it look like a hate crime

Atlanta -- Former NFL player Edawn Coughman, 31, of Buford, was arrested Thursday on charges of falsely reporting a burglary, insurance fraud and concealing a license plate. He was later bonded out of jail, police said.

Coughman is accused of trashing his own restaurant and ice cream shop he also owns near Atlanta. But worse, it seems that he made it look like a hate crime.

Police from Gwinnett County found the n word, "monkey," "MAGA" [Jussie Smollett style] and swastikas scrawled on the walls and booths of both businesses, Create & Bake Pizza and Coughman's Creamery in Lawrenceville.

Coughman was signed to the Seattle Seahawks practice squad in 2012 out of Shaw University and then spent parts of the following season with the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post. He was then claimed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2014 and signed by the Washington Redskins later that season.

An officer responded Wednesday night to a 911 call reporting that a person was damaging the restaurant and ice cream shop and making a getaway in a truck without a license plate. The restaurant's rear door showed signs of a break-in.

Police pulled over the truck and found Coughman behind the wheel and learned he was the owner of the damaged businesses, according to the news release. In the truck were several TVs that appeared to have been ripped from a wall.

The news release quoted the Jussie Smollett wannabe as informing the officers that he had noticed the damage earlier in the day and called his insurance company to report it but not 911.

"It's possible he was trying to stage this as a hate crime," Cpl. Michele Pihera told the Daily Post. "We don't know if he was trying to get attention for this. What we do know is, if that witness had not called us and if those officers had not responded as quickly as they did, we would probably be sitting here talking about a completely different crime in which Mr. Coughman would be trying to say he's a victim."

Like Smollett, you will not find Coughman at a Mensa meeting.

Parents fight school's dropping of Pledge of Allegiance

Atlanta, Not Soviet Georgia -- Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School Principal Lara Zelski made the decision that students will no longer recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, in morning meeting agenda.

She told parents that this is "an effort to begin our day as a fully inclusive and connected community," which is a progressive talking point to make America a global society.

Falling in lockstep with anti-American ideology, the communist principal wrote: "Over the past couple of years it has become increasingly obvious that more and more of our community were choosing to not stand and/or recite the pledge," according to  the Atlanta Journal Constitution. 

The statement posted on the school website promised parents and students that they could recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America later in the day, if they felt like doing so, and promised to create a better pledge specifically for the school.

"Teachers and the K-5 leadership team will be working with students to create a school pledge that we can say together at morning meeting," Zelski wrote, adding that it "will focus on students' civic responsibility to their school family, community, country and our global society."

Perhaps it will go something like this:

 "I pledge allegiance to the school of Principal Lara Zelski. And to the ideals for which it stands, one global nation, under the UN, with unity and trophies for all."

Liberalism, like socialism and communism is a mental disorder that has never worked in the long run.

"I'm really looking forward to what our students create," she wrote.

Parents of the students were incensed and gained attention of Georgia House Speaker David Ralston, gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp, and others who slammed Zelski's leftist decision.

"I'm sure our House Education Committee will examine whether taxpayer funds should be used to instill such a divisive ideology in our students," Ralston posted online, AJC reported.

In less than a day, school officials chickened out. Their anti-American stance didn't work and they reversed course.

Zelski's anti-American removal of the Pledge of Allegiance was wiped from the school's website and walked back with a statement by Lia Santos. The statement makes it sound as if the pledge would have been recited later in the day, but Zelski's words made it clear that students or teachers had a choice whether or not to recite it.

According to the AJC:

The state DOE policy demands that schools set a time for the pledge, each school day, at the beginning of the school day or during homeroom period. But students may not be compelled to recite the pledge, it adds.

Janice Crouse, author of "Children at Risk" and a conservative analyst said that the situation serves as an important lesson for parents.

"I think parents should take heart . . . in that the administration was forced to change their minds and go back to having the Pledge of Allegiance," she said. "And I think parents can learn from this that they do need to speak out, and they do need to know what's going on so that they can speak out."

Starbucks investigated over hidden toilet camera

Police are investigating an Atlanta suburb Starbucks after a camera was discovered by a woman using the bathroom.

The 25-year-old customer found the camera taped under a baby changing station. She removed the camera and alerted the manager, police said. The manager then notified the Starbuck's corporate office.

"We were quite concerned to learn this and are grateful to our customers and partners who took action to involve local authorities," a Starbucks spokesperson nervously told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. 

The manager gave the device to police and authorities reportedly found 25 videos stored on the camera. Several of the videos reportedly showed people answering the call of nature, but no genitalia were seen on the videos nor were there any cute cat videos to be enjoyed.

No suspects have been identified but management believes that it's possible James Comey used the very same restroom. They did not actually see him use it, but it's possible.

If Comey did, indeed, plant the camera, he would be facing a felony.

Comey did not respond to requests for comment.

On May 29 all Starbucks employees of their 8,000 locations will receive "racial bias" training based on an incident that occurred in Philadelphia in which two black men were told to leave the premises by a SJW manager because they were allegedly loitering. Those videos are available but Starbucks apparently refuses to release them in order for the public to know what really happened.

So Starbucks is "training" thousands of employees to not be racially biased using unproven, 'feel-good' methods aimed at making the bitter coffee giant look good.
