El-Sayed's deep-down disgust with Michigan's Mackinac Island: asks voters to send him to Washington anyway

In a development that surprised absolutely no one familiar with the modern Democratic Party, Michigan’s Democratic Senate nominee and jihadi, Abdul El-Sayed, once went full progressive tourist and trashed one of the state’s most beloved vacation spots while complaining about being forced to campaign there.

“I hate Mackinac so much,” he said in a 2020 documentary that followed his failed run for governor. “Every time I’ve ever come here I’ve hated it. Why am I here?” Better question: why is this anti-Semite even running for office?

The clip, resurfaced by The Midwesterner, captured the future Senate hopeful at peak authenticity.  El-Sayed then helpfully clarified that if he somehow won the governorship, Mackinac Island would become his summer home, his way of walking back what he really feels.

The car-free island has hosted the Michigan governor’s official summer residence since 1945, a place where normal people enjoy horse-drawn carriages, bicycles, and walking instead of whatever coastal elite utopia El-Sayed apparently prefers. My guess is that their utopia resembles Egypt, where his parents are from.

His campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment on why a man who openly despises one of Michigan’s most historical and wholesome landmarks still expects voters to trust him with their state’s future. Of course, the mainstream media didn't press them for an answer beyond the bs they fed the press.

Last year, Democratic Governor the elite Gretchen Whitmer tried to paper over the progressive distaste for the place by pitching Mackinac Island as the perfect film location for HBO’s “The White Lotus.”

“If HBO is looking for the perfect location for season 4…Mackinac Island is ready to check you in,” she wrote over footage of the island’s scenery. Whitmer continues to visit regularly for events like the Mackinac Policy Conference, where Michigan’s political and business establishment gathers each year to pretend everything is fine. [She may have even gone there during the COVID-19 lockdowns because, you know, she's elite and doesn't have to answer to anyone in the state.]

This is not the first time a Democratic candidate has publicly loathed the very place they claim to represent.

During a special election for Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District, Democratic nominee Aftyn Behn shared her deep affection for Nashville: “I hate the city, I hate the bachelorettes, I hate the pedal taverns, I hate country music, I hate all of the things that make Nashville apparently an ‘it’ city to the rest of the country. But I hate it.”

One can only imagine what she thinks about the rest of the country.

El-Sayed now faces Republican Senate nominee Mike Rogers in the general election. After El-Sayed narrowly edged out Rep. Haley Stevens, Rogers released a video aimed at Democratic voters alarmed by the rise of the far-Left in Michigan. “You have a home with us,” he told Democrats of all ages. “Over the next 90 days I am going to work hard to earn your trust, to earn your support, and earn your vote. We have a state to save, Michigan. Let’s get to work.”

At least one party still seems to like the state it wants to represent.

Taco Bell Introduces Authentic "Runs for the Border" Experience, CDC Confirms It Was Perhaps Too Authentic

ATLANTA, AP, Taco Bell customers across five states have reportedly discovered that the chain's slogan now comes with a stopwatch after federal health officials confirmed that lettuce from Mexico was the source of a widespread cyclospora outbreak.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention identified shredded iceberg lettuce served at Taco Bell locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia as the culprit behind an outbreak that turned drive thru visits into drive by emergencies.

The CDC warned consumers not to eat the lettuce, while countless customers admitted that warning would have been much more helpful before lunch.

A Food and Drug Administration investigation traced the lettuce to a single supplier, whose identity remains secret, presumably because witness protection now extends to produce distributors.

"FDA is working with the supplier of iceberg lettuce to determine if potentially contaminated shredded iceberg lettuce remains on the market," including in other states, the CDC said. "Taco Bell has committed to stop using any lettuce from the supplier identified by FDA's traceback investigation."

Translation, somewhere in America, a warehouse full of lettuce is being interrogated under a bright lamp.

Federal investigators have been tracking the outbreak alongside public health officials as infections continue climbing. More than 30 states have reported cases this year, pushing totals beyond the previous U.S. record of roughly 4,700 infections set in 2019.

Public health experts insist the illness is usually not life threatening, a comforting message delivered to people currently memorizing every restroom location between home and work.

Earlier this week Taco Bell announced it had "voluntarily and temporarily removed limited ingredients at select restaurants as a precautionary measure. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and follow the guidance of public health authorities."

Translation again, the lettuce has been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation.

Cyclospora is a microscopic parasite that causes watery diarrhea "with frequent and sometimes explosive bowel movements," according to the CDC, making it perhaps the only government description that requires no embellishment whatsoever.

Officials say the parasite spreads through food contaminated by fecal matter, often from irrigation water. Somehow this fact still failed to convince people that ordering "extra lettuce" might not be the healthiest life choice.

Experts attribute the growing number of cases to climate change and improved detection methods, because in modern America every story must eventually arrive at climate change, even if it first makes several urgent stops at the restroom. Meanwhile, ordinary Americans have developed a simpler theory, perhaps restaurants should ensure the lettuce is not imported with complimentary parasites.

Michigan Democrat Mallory McMorrow Flees the Red Dawn She Helped Unleash, Leaving Michigan One Step Closer to the People's Republic of the Great Lakes

In a scene straight out of a Bolshevik fever dream, complete with hammer, sickle, and probably a few portraits of Che on the campaign wall, Democrat Michigan state senator Mallory McMorrow has suddenly suspended her campaign for U.S. Senate, just weeks before the August 4th primary. Comrades, the revolution is eating its own again.

This leaves the Democratic primary as a glorious two-way cage match between establishment moderate Rep. Haley Stevens (the Chuck Schumer-approved choice, because nothing says “fighting for the working class” like a career politician backed by super PACs) and the full-throated socialist Abdul El-Sayed, endorsed by the anti-Zionist deadbeat Comrade Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Obviously-Communist, the dynamic duo of “free stuff for everyone except the kulaks.”

McMorrow’s name stays on the ballot because, in true Democrat fashion, the ballots were already printed and mailed out like Soviet ration cards. The eventual winner, whichever flavor of leftism triumphs, will face former Rep. Mike Rogers in November for the seat being vacated by retiring Sen. Gary Peters.

This is a must-hold for the Democrats if they want to claw back the Senate from the evil, freedom-loving GOP, which currently holds a 53-47 edge. Nonpartisan handicappers call it a toss-up. Let's be serious, America is one bad primary away from the gulag

In her weepy little video on X, McMorrow offered no real reason for bailing. She just thanked her staff and supporters for a campaign powered by “small-dollar donations and no corporate PAC money.” Sure, Mallory. You built that plucky little progressive dream right up until the polls showed you getting steamrolled by both the corporate Dems and the actual Reds. Then poof; vanishing act.

But fear not, comrades! She pledged full support to whichever Democrat wins and faces off against Rogers. Quote: “So here's what we do next. Every day through November 3rd. We win this Senate seat and send Mike Rogers back to Florida for good. Whoever wins this primary on August 4th will have my full support.”

How touching. A true display of socialist solidarity, right before the knives come out.

Stevens, naturally, called McMorrow an “important voice” for Michigan families and positioned herself as the electable one who’ll “lower costs, protect manufacturing jobs, and stand up to Trump’s abuses of power.” Of course, Michigan's manufacturing is 'protected' by the party that plans to regulate, tax, and green-new-deal everything to death.

Meanwhile, El-Sayed, the man who would be America’s first Muslim senator and who looks at Bernie Sanders the way a lovesick teenager stares at a Che Guevara poster, praised McMorrow for challenging the “rigged system.” Quote: “Throughout this campaign, Senator McMorrow showed what it looks like to fight back against politics that rigs the system against too many of us. . . .  The same party insiders she had the courage to challenge have been bullying anyone who opposes their chosen candidate. . . . I welcome her supporters to our movement to stand up against money in politics, to put money back in pockets, and pass Medicare for All. We cannot allow the establishment to decide our nominee for us.”

So come join the glorious people’s struggle! We’ll abolish ICE, call Israel’s fight against Hamas “genocide,” demand single-payer socialism, and make sure the only people with money are the ones running the re-education camps.

This is the choice Michigan Democrats face: Schumer’s corporate shell or Bernie’s full Commie. El-Sayed wants Medicare for All, open borders, and to turn Michigan into a sanctuary state for every radical idea short of immediate collectivization of the auto plants. The establishment is terrified he’ll push the party so far left that even the state Trump carried by a whisker two years ago will finally go full Venezuela.

The NRSC nailed it: “Bernie Sanders’ radical socialist flank is completely taking over the Democrat Party.” Exactly. The mask is off. What used to be hidden behind flowery rhetoric about “progress” and “equity” is now out in the open: government control of health care, demonization of Israel, abolition of borders, and the slow march toward the dictatorship of the proletariat.

Michigan’s Senate primary has gone from clown car to flaming wreck. And the rest of America gets to watch as the Democrats decide exactly how fast they want to drive the country off the Marxist cliff.

God help us all if they win. The red flag is already waving over the primary. Next it’ll be over the Capitol.

Democrats discombobulated as Michigan AG calls for recount after convention voting clusterfrac

Harmeet Dhillon, the U.S. Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, is busy poking around the DOJ's investigation into voter fraud in Michigan's Wayne County, because apparently that's still a thing that needs investigating in 2026. You know, fraudulent voting, non-compliance with the Help America Vote Act, the usual greatest hits from the "most secure election ever" crowd.

Meanwhile, Michigan Democratic Attorney General Dana Nessel is suddenly very concerned about accurate vote tallies. Why? Because the Michigan Democratic Party held its convention on Sunday, April 19, with over 6,000 delegates voting on who gets to represent the party for big statewide offices. And wouldn't you know it, the whole thing turned into a clown show.

State Sen. Sylvia Santana is demanding an independent audit after her own probe uncovered "material errors" with the voting systems. Nessel herself admitted her votes weren't properly counted:
"I learned in the days immediately following the convention that the Election Buddy app did not correctly attribute my votes or my congressional district, and I immediately notified the impacted candidates and the state party chair."
But, and this is my favorite part, Nessel was quick to slap down any "false equivalency" nonsense:
"Those who traffic in election conspiracies will seek any and every opportunity to undermine public confidence in our elections, and while an audit is warranted in this circumstance, these results have no bearings on the veracity of state-run elections."
Of course. When it's their own chaotic internal beauty pageant, audits are fine and dandy. When it's a statewide election and Republicans start noticing the same kind of sloppiness, suddenly it's dangerous conspiracy theory talk. The hypocrisy is so thick you could spread it on a bagel. The complaints are piling up. Santana, who lost her bid for the Michigan State University Board of Trustees, dropped a 53-page complaint alleging 200 people voted remotely (prohibited, naturally), 302 voters who weren't even on the master list, 208 duplicate registrations, and votes that were either tallied wrong or not at all. Another candidate, Cathy Albro, casually admitted she voted from home.

Even Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald, who got smoked 59-41 in her attorney general bid, took to Facebook to cry foul:
"After reviewing the results of the MDP Endorsement Convention, it became clear that votes were incorrectly recorded, people voted who were not onsite, and some votes were not recorded at all. I strongly support Senator Santana’s request for an independent audit, and urge my Democratic colleagues across the state to support it as well. It is critical that every voter and every campaign have confidence in the vote."
This is the same crowd that spent years telling us questioning elections is a threat to democracy. Now they're living it.

The Michigan Democratic Party responded with the usual bureaucratic word salad about appeals processes and independent committees, but the Michigan Republican Party summed it up perfectly:
"Losing candidates are starting to take legal action against the Democrat Party, claiming the election were STOLEN from them after an investigation revealed that hundreds of ineligible voters took part in their recent endorsement convention. Democrats can't even secure their own internal elections. What a mess!"
Couldn't have said it better myself. The party that lectures the rest of us about "threats to democracy" can't even run a convention without it looking like a junior varsity version of 2020. Beautiful.

Jihadi gunman in Michigan synagogue attack ID'd as Lebanese-born immigrant

Authorities identified the suspect in Thursday's brazen attack on Temple Israel, a Reform synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan, as Ayman, wait for it . . .  Mohamad Ghazali, a 41-year-old Lebanese-born man who entered the United States in 2011 and became a naturalized citizen in 2016 after arriving in the US in 2011.

Ghazali, who worked in a restaurant in Dearborn Heights, is dead after a shootout with armed security on the temple grounds.

"We can't say what killed him at this point," Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said at a news conference, "but security did engage the suspect with gunfire." It's possible this jihadi killed himself and hopes to get his 72 virgins, but it becomes null and void if he offed himself, or so they say.

The suspect drove his vehicle into the building and then shots were fired, the West Bloomfield police department confirmed.

Ghazali was armed with a rifle and killed in the exchange with synagogue security, according to reports.

His vehicle caught fire, burning inside the structure. Bouchard noted that the suspect's truck struck a security guard, knocking him unconscious, marking the only reported injury from the incident. Law enforcement also discovered what appeared to be explosives in the back of the vehicle.

Those inside the synagogue and in surrounding areas were told to shelter in place while police worked to determine if anyone else was involved. Several children were evacuated from the building and moved to a safer location.

"We just tell people [to] shelter in place for at least a mile area until we determine that there's no one else that maybe was on foot and fled the area, until we figure out exactly what's going on," Bouchard said.

Bouchard added that "Jewish facilities in the area are going to have a lot of extra presence around it until we figure this out."

Temple Israel released a statement on Facebook declaring that it "was the victim of a terrorist gunman who was confronted and neutralized by our security personnel." All 140 students attending classes at the time, along with teachers and staff, are "accounted for and safe," the synagogue thankfully confirmed.

This incident comes amid heightened security at synagogues nationwide following the surge in anti-Semitic violence since Hamas's October 7, 2023 attacks. The Anti-Defamation League's 2024 audit highlighted a sharp rise in bomb threats and other harassment targeting synagogues, including messages like: "You Jews will pay for your crimes, we will end your lives," along with anti-Israel content. Sounds like the criminals are projecting a wee bit.

Other recent cases include, wait for it . . .  Mohamed . . .  Sabry Soliman, charged with hate crimes last June for throwing Molotov cocktails at pro-Israel demonstrators while yelling "Free Palestine," and Elias Rodriguez, who shot and killed two Israeli embassy staffers outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. the prior month. When caught, Rodriguez declared, "I did it for Palestine, I did it for Gaza."

FBI Director Kash Patel separately confirmed that federal authorities "are on the scene with partners in Michigan."

Four arrested after Rotterdam synagogue explosion: Ashah Al Yamin claims responsibility

Four young men, aged seventeen to nineteen, were arrested in Rotterdam after an explosive device detonated at a synagogue in the heart of the city. No one was injured, thank God, though the blast at around 3:40 a.m. left its mark on the building and, one suspects, on the nerves of every Jew in the Netherlands.

The terrorism suspects, all from Tilburg, were apprehended when police stopped a car prowling suspiciously near another synagogue. The driver's description matched one of the perpetrators from the earlier attack. One can only imagine the scene: young men in a vehicle, perhaps flushed with the adrenaline of what they had just done, now suddenly confronted by officers who had pieced it together with commendable speed.

A group calling itself Ashab Al Yamim, a hitherto unknown Shi'ite terror outfit, has claimed responsibility.

This is no idle boast; the same shadowy organization has recently launched a series of assaults on Jewish institutions, including a bombing at a synagogue in Liège, Belgium, and another attack in Greece. One is tempted to ask: where do these groups spring from, fully formed, with videos and statements ready to hand out? While the name translates roughly as "Companions of the Right,"  their actions suggest something altogether darker: proxies, perhaps, in a wider campaign of intimidation that has escalated since the joint US-Israeli operations against Iran commenced in late February.

It is difficult not to see a pattern here. Jewish communities across the West find themselves under siege.

Earlier this week, a synagogue in Michigan was rammed by a vehicle in an incident involving an active shooter. In Canada, several synagogues have endured targeted shootings over the past month. And now this in Rotterdam, arson by explosion, claimed by a new Shi'ite entity whose emergence coincides precisely with heightened tensions in the Middle East.

The police, to their credit, have increased surveillance at other synagogues throughout the city and launched an extensive investigation. [What can their motive possibly be?]

Whether the four suspects intended further targets remains unconfirmed, but the question hangs in the air: how many more such plots are being hatched, even as we speak?

One cannot help but reflect on the broader malaise. Europe, once so proud of its post-war tolerance, now watches as its Jewish citizens, citizens who have every right to worship in peace, are forced to live behind heightened security, metal detectors, and armed guards. The euphemisms of "heightened concerns" and "increased surveillance" mask a grim reality: Jews are once again being hunted in the streets of European cities, this time under the banner of a resurgent ideological war exported from the Middle East.

Thanks for following Brain Flushings, guys. Please consider subscribing, and if you would like to support my work, visit the sponsors on this page, or you can Buy Me A Coffee.

As any great historian of totalitarianism might have observed, the first step toward barbarism is the normalization of targeting a particular group.

We are well past the first step now. The question is whether the West still possesses the moral clarity, and the will, to confront it before the next explosion claims not just windows and doors, but lives.

Unhinged Dem Senate Wannabe Fantasizes About Assaulting SCOTUS Justices With Beer — And This Is the Party of "Decorum"?

Michigan state Sen. Mallory McMorrow, [aka 3M] the Democrat eyeing a 2026 U.S. Senate run, just couldn't hold it together in a viral clip that's making the rounds. The Notre Dame alum, who's risen to majority whip while crusading hard for abortion rights post-Roe, admitted she'd straight-up lose control if she bumped into Justices Amy Coney Barrett or Brett Kavanaugh out in the wild.

In the undated video, blasted out on X by Townhall, McMorrow's fielding a question on the Court's conservative tilt when she drops this gem, fuming that Barrett sharing her alma mater makes her "furious" on a "personal level."

"I talked to somebody yesterday who said they saw her with Brett Kavanaugh at a tailgate last weekend. I was like, 'I would not be able to control myself,'" McMorrow said. "That would be a bad— there would be beers thrown in people’s faces."

A sitting state lawmaker and Senate hopeful casually joking about hurling beers at Supreme Court justices. Because nothing says "mature leadership" like fantasizing about battery over policy disagreements. Would she also moon them on Capitol Hill and maybe stick her tongue out at them?

McMorrow's office and campaign went radio silent when conservative outlet The Daily Wire pressed for comment. Shocker, now she had nothing to say.

This isn't some isolated hot take,  it's part of a pattern. Remember Chuck 'Nostrils' Schumer in 2020, name-checking Kavanaugh and Gorsuch on the steps of the Court: "You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions."

Chief Justice Roberts rightly called it out as "dangerous." Then, post-Dobbs in 2022, that armed nut-job showed up at Kavanaugh's house ready to assassinate him.

Fast-forward: McMorrow's one of the Dems jockeying to replace retiring Sen. Gary Peters in a race Republicans are salivating over. At 39, she's been in the state Senate since 2019, laser-focused on advocating for the killing the unborn.

And let's not forget, earlier this year, she cozied up at a fundraiser with far-left blogger Rebecca Schoenkopf, who dropped a piece titled "Second Amendment Comes for Charlie Kirk" just a day after the conservative activist's assassination. Classy crowd.

Look, if this is the "resistance" vibe Dems are riding into 2026, good luck selling that to swing-state voters tired of the rage machine. Threatening justices, even "jokingly," isn't edgy; it's reckless, especially when real attempts have already happened. Time for some self-control lessons, Senator, and get someone to hold your beer.

Michigan Dem Senate Hopeful Abdul El-Sayed: Because Nothing Says 'Electable' Like Calling Border Agents 'White Supremacists'

Oh, the joys of Democratic primary season in Michigan. Enter Abdul El-Sayed, the progressive darling gunning for that open Senate seat in 2026, who's apparently decided that the best way to win hearts and minds is by channeling his inner AOC on steroids.

In a post that's now vanished faster than a Hunter Biden stash, El-Sayed decided to drop some real wisdom on the border crisis: labeling U.S. Border Patrol agents as "white supremacists" while pinning the blame for illegal immigration square on Uncle Sam's shoulders. Interesting strategy that tends to cater to the kids.

Flash back to September 24, 2021, when El-Sayed took to X (back when it was still Twitter and free speech wasn't yet a punchline) to rant about a photo that had all the hallmarks of a viral hoax. You know the one: the "whipping" incident with Haitian migrants, where a mounted agent was accused of playing cowboy with a lash. [Spoiler: It was just a rein, and it was only being used on the horses.] Investigations cleared the agents quicker than you can say "fake news," but that didn't stop our hero from saddling up his high horse.

"Blaming horses for the dudes riding them to whip Haitian refugees is like blaming Haiti for the fact they're coming," El-Sayed wrote. "How about asking how our policies decimate Caribbean & Central American (and so many other) countries—and why we allow white supremacists to police our borders?"

Nothing screams "I'm ready for prime time" like equating hardworking federal agents with the ghosts of the Klan while ignoring the actual pull factors drawing folks north: jobs, safety, and the American dream that libs like El-Sayed pretend is just a mirage cooked up by colonial ghosts.

This gem surfaced right on the heels of El-Sayed getting roasted for scrubbing other social media landmines where he peddled the "defund the police" gospel.

Remember that fever dream from 2020-2021, the one where torching precincts was "mostly peaceful" and cops were the real villains? Yeah, that toxic sludge has curdled into electoral kryptonite for Democrats, and El-Sayed's border bromides aren't exactly a palate cleanser. The Comedy News Network, of all outlets, clocked the deletions on Monday, because even the legacy media can't ignore a self-own this epic.

But let's get real for a second, or as real as El-Sayed allows reality to enter the arena. He loves to finger-wag at "bad U.S. policy" for the migrant flood, but the numbers laugh in his face. Federal surveys paint a picture straight out of Economics 101: Immigrants, documented or not, flock here for the greenbacks and the lack of cartel drive-bys back home. Central America's a hot mess of violence and poverty, sure, but it's the stars-and-stripes beacon of opportunity that's the magnet, not some CIA plot from the School of the Americas playbook.

That's why voters have been demanding tougher borders louder than an antifa riot in LA. We're talking assimilation overload, too many arrivals, too fast, and the system's creaking like an old pickup on I-75. In Michigan, no less, where nearly 20% of voters last year pegged immigration as their top beef, per the Associated Press. And don't forget: That hawkish vibe was the secret sauce in Trump's 2024 Michigan magic, as an AP poll confirms. Blue-collar folks aren't buying the "open borders or bust" schtick; they want security with their sanctuary cities.

El-Sayed, bless his activist heart, has been slinging shade at Trump since the announcement, whining that the ex-prez's moves are "destroy[ing] the rule of law" and siccing ICE on folks to "terrorize neighborhoods." Cute. But calling border guards "white supremacists"? That's not just extreme; it's the kind of unhinged that makes even his Squad mates blush. If this is the Left's idea of a swing-state savior, pass the popcorn—2026's gonna be a clown show for the ages.

If you like Brain Flushings and want to Buy Me a Coffee, I would appreciate it, as it supports my work. Obviously, there is no pressure but I certainly wouldn't stop you.

Man who pees sitting down tried to burn down local GOP headquarters: not so much, eh

Police in Iron Mountain, MI arrested a 19-year-old stick figure of a man who tried to burn down the Dickinson County Republican Committee HQ last Saturday.

The "man," Zayn [Izane] Arcand, evidently a flaming Democrat, allegedly chucked a Molotov cocktail at the building, as per a press release by the Iron Mountain PD. But it didn't go well for him as nobody was hurt, killed nor the building damaged.

"On Saturday, July 12, 2025, at approximately 3:55 p.m., the Iron Mountain Police Department (IMPD) received a report of a suspicious person in the area of 617 North Stephenson Avenue, the location of the Dickinson County Republican Committee Headquarters," the police department explained. "The caller observed the individual attempting to light a rag sticking out of a glass bottle, then throwing the unlit bottle at the building."

Surveillance video footage shows the failed arsonist trying to light the rag in the bottle before throwing it at a window. The bottle shattered on impact." A second broken glass bottle was located in the parking lot," the IMPD stated. "This bottle contained an unknown liquid and had a rag sticking out of the top."

Arcand tries to run away

Officers identified the suspect and confronted him at his home where he probably lived with his mother.

"Upon speaking with the suspect, he admitted to making the bottles in his driveway and he threw the bottle at the building, to send a message against the corruption," the press release said. "The suspect was hoping what he made was flammable and would ignite."

Whether or not he was hoping to burn a Republican alive is not clear.

Arcand was arraigned on Monday during a virtual hearing. He is facing charges for explosives-manufacture/possession of a Molotov cocktail/explosive or incendiary device causing property damage and arson-preparation to burn property, the director of Iron Mountain Police and Fire Services told the Iron Mountain Daily News.

Ray and Barb Broullire, who own the building, expressed relief that there was no damage. "We were very concerned," Ray told WLUC. "Not to mention there’s people in this building. It was a Saturday, thank goodness. You know, that was a big plus. But yeah, when something like that happens, you just kind of expect the worst. We’re glad it worked out the way it did."

The court set Arcand’s bond at $15,000 with a ten percent cash surety.

Ford Motors after their X account posts: "Israel is a terrorist state"

Henry Ford was a Jew hating American.

For starters, he owned the newspaper The Dearborn Independent from 1919 to 1927 which published a series of articles such as "The International Jew: The World's Problem." This series pushed anti-Semitic conspiracy theories that suggested Jews controlled the economy, the media and politics. They were published not only in the U.S. but also translated and distributed globally and are believed to have influenced Hitler, who referenced Ford glowingly in "Mein Kampf."

Due to his personal financial concerns, Ford made a public apology in 1927 and retracted the Jew-hating accusations, but his apology has been debated by historians who argued his retraction was influenced by boycotts and legal concerns. Furthermore, Ford's views remained unclear and some correctly pointed out that he continued to associate with anti-Semitic scumcrumpets and the ongoing circulation of his own writings clearly showed that his views on Jews did not really change, and this has resulted in a significant blemish on his reputation.

Ford's contribution to the auto industry and the assembly-line manufacturing innovation is undeniable, as is his impact on promoting hatred against an entire population of people.

For a short period of time on Monday the X account of Ford Motor Company posted three pro-Palestinian tweets that had nothing to do with the car company’s business.

“Free Palestine,” the first message read. Another followed a minute later: “Israel is a terrorist state.” Moments later, a third: “ALL EYES ON GAZA.”

The messages were soon deleted, and Ford said in a statement that they had not been permitted. It must have been some rogue Jew-hating employee with access to their X account.

“Our X account was briefly compromised and the previous three posts were not authorized or posted by Ford,” the company said. “We are investigating the issue, and apologize for any confusion caused.”

Posts like that might hurt their bottom line.

The X posts carried particular resonance because of Ford’s headquarters in Detroit, an area with a large Arab-American population where anti-Israel sentiment has been strong, and because of the company’s history of anti-Semitism emanating from its founder.

Some useful idiots and anti-Semites who saw the posts as screenshots of them circulated on social media applauded them. Others with a clear moral compass denounced the posts, with some speculating on the cause.

“Ford Motor Company must have been hacked by the Free Palestine movement,” tweeted Rep. Ritchie Torres, a pro-Israel Democrat from New York.

Doubtful they were hacked. It sounds like Joy Reid's Facebook account hacking story when she allegedly posted homophobic content.

Tampon Tim Walz panders to Hamas, doesn't mention American hostages, blames Israel for being attacked

Tampon Tim Walz and Kamala Harris may have a combined IQ of 120, if they're lucky and can take the tests home. Kamala with her word salads and Walz with his blatant stupidity and obvious socialist tendencies. But it may now be the case where the Harris campaign team needs to put a muzzle on Walz mug.

While Biden leans on Israel, not Hamas, to end the war and free the hostages, Hamas is laughing into their keffiyehs fully emboldened to keep the status quo. It's possible that Biden's stark warning, "don't," has not scared the terrorists from the war. Now Hamas wants even more acquiescence to make a deal and is threatening the lives of the hostages. This weakness and stupidity in Biden has made the entire world a more dangerous place.

Enter Tampon Tim.

It's incredibly stupid what Walz said to WCMU, a Public Radio station that cover Central and Northern Michigan, on Thursday. The vice presidential candidate for the Democratic Party was asked, "How would a Harris-Walz administration handle the conflict and would it break with the Biden administration in any way?"

The man whose own family is voting for former President Trump responded:
Well, I think first and foremost what we saw on October 7th was a horrific act of violence against the people of Israel. They have certainly, and the vice president said it, I've said it, have the right to defend themselves and the United States will always stand by that, but we can't allow what's happened in Gaza to happen. The Palestinian people have every right to life and liberty themselves. We need to continue, I think to put the leverage on to make sure we move towards a two state solution. I think we're at a critical point right now. We need the Netanyahu government to start moving in that direction. But I think those folks who are speaking out loudly in Michigan are speaking out for all the right reasons. It's a humanitarian crisis. It can't stand the way it is. And we need to find a way that people can live together in this and we’ve said it and continue to say it, getting a ceasefire with the return of the hostages and then moving towards a sustainable two state solution is the only way forward.
Did I mention that what he said is stupid?

Remember, Hamas was voted in by the Gazans, attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 and killed about 1,200 Israelis along with a number of Americans. They also kidnapped about 253 people, killing some almost immediately, and holding others to use as collateral. While being held, many were raped, tortured and barely fed.

Walz did not condemn Hamas or even mention them, but instead blames Israel for the war. He also said nothing, zip, nada, about the American still being held hostage and those who were killed by the terrorist scumbags. But instead, he's in full support for the poor people in Gaza. You know who they are--they're the ones who spit on the mutilated body of Shani Louk as they drove her through the streets.

"But we can't allow what's happened in Gaza to happen," the goofball said.

Well, not allowing what Hamas did on Oct. 7, would be to fight the terrorists who committed the anti-Semitic atrocities. But when Israel is at war, people want Israel to tie their own hands in response.

Even worse, not only does Walz want to restrict Israel's actions, but he also remains silent about the U.S. response to Hamas for killing Americans. Instead, he insists on applying "leverage" to Israel to push for a two-state solution. Israel has already proposed a two-state solution to the Palestinians, only to have it rejected. Walz seems unaware of how many times Israel has made concessions for a deal, only to be met with attacks from Hamas or refusals. If he doesn't know that, he's not qualified for the position he's seeking. Where is the "leverage" against the Hamas terrorists?
SICKENING: Tampon Tim Walz says pro-Hamas radicals "are speaking out for all the right reasons" and calls to "put the leverage" on Israel to ensure Hamas terrorists live to see another day. pic.twitter.com/WYDZiX84PL— Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) September 6, 2024
Walz's words were disgusting and apparently his way of pandering to the Michigan Muslim community. When he said that people "speaking out in Michigan" are "speaking out for all the right reasons," he has taken off the mask and shown us the Jew-hating Neanderthal he really is.

Rashida Tlaib refuses to condemn "Death to America" chants: jihad comes to America

An angry, disgusting woman who hates America and the Jewish people

Repulsive Rashida Tlaib (Squad-MI) attended a rally in her district where Hamas supporters chanted "death to America" and of course, "death to Israel." In spite of her pledge to defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, the Democratic congresswoman refused to condemn the chanters and received bipartisan blow-back.

At an “Al-Quds Day” rally in Dearborn, Michigan protesters chanted “death to America” and “death to Israel.” A speaker at the event even quoted Malcom X saying “We live in one of the rottenest countries that has ever existed on this earth.”

Ironically, every moron who claims to believe this and chants this garbage has either come to the United States from a different country, or was born here and has no plans to go to a "better country," because there are no better countries than the USA.

The speaker continued, explaining that “The chant ‘death to Israel’ has become the most logical chant shouted across the world today.” It's especially 'logical' for hateful racists who now have a Nazi bandwagon to jump on. Many of these cretins are the same people who call conservatives 'white supremacists;' they obviously don't see themselves in the mirror.

Another speaker proclaimed “Israel is ISIS, they are Nazis, they are fascists, they are racists.” By making such ridiculous claims, they now believe they have the right to act in kind. If you call Israel genocidal, then it's okay to commit genocide against them.

Pro tip: Israel is not at all genocidal. If they were, Gaza would have been destroyed years ago and the IDF wouldn't take such care as to limit civilian casualties. Israel would not allow Arabs to participate in their Knesset and work in Israel if they were genocidal. But "shoe on other foot," there are no Jews in Gaza and if there were, they would be killed, like what the Gazan 'civilians' did to some of the hostages on Oct. 7.

Back to Dearborn.

The initial incident sparked condemnation from both sides of the political aisle. The mayor of Dearborn, Abdullah H. Hammoud, wrote on Twitter/X that, at the rally, people chanted “statements that were unacceptable and contrary to the heart of this city.

“We reject all inflammatory and violent statements made at the gathering. Dearborn is a city of proud Americans; the hateful rhetoric heard on Friday does not reflect the opinion of the members of this community,” he said.

Even though he might not believe his words based on the history of the city, at least he vocalized them.

White House spokesman Andrew Bates told The Daily Caller that “The White House condemns these abhorrent and Antisemitic remarks in the strongest terms. As [US] President [Joe] Biden has said, America is the greatest nation on Earth and a beacon to the world.”

But Tlaib is a Democrat and the Party protects their own no matter how incendiary their words can be.

Tlaib was approached by a Fox News reporter on Wednesday, who asked if she condemned the chants. She replied, saying she did not speak to Fox News and that the reporter was engaging in Islamophobic tropes in asking her the question — likely because she perceived the reporter as questioning the patriotism and loyalty of Muslim Americans to the US.

Her logic is that if you ask a Muslim about anti-Israel and anti-American sentiments, you are Islamophobic, which simply translates to, "shut up."

The Republican Jewish Coalition’s national political director, Sam Markstein, had harsh words for Tlaib, telling The Algemeiner, a Jewish newspaper based in the United States, “It’s no surprise that Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib would refuse to condemn anti-America and anti-Israel chants.”

He described Rep. Tlaib as “a disgrace” who “should not be representing the people of Michigan’s 12th district in Congress.”

Maybe she ought to go back to her roots in Gaza and run for office there.

Markstein argued, “House Democratic leadership has coddled and enabled her vicious anti-Semitism and anti-Israel rhetoric for years – it’s long past time for them to hold her accountable.”

But rather than dealing with Tlaib for what she represents, the left goes after, you guessed it, Trump for anti-Semitic rhetoric, or what is interpreted as such, even though he has been the most Israel-friendly president in our time. This isn't about Trump; it's about Tlaib and other anti-Semites on the Left. It's time to vote them out.

Biden's handlers ward off press, internet explodes

President-ish Joe Biden was at an event in Saginaw, Michigan on Thursday and when the press tried to ask him questions which he agreed to take, his handlers whisked him away to avoid having him display his full-blown dementia.

Biden was trying to push his re-election campaign and speak to volunteers who would vote for a Democrat even if the candidate was declared brain dead. I'm not saying Joe Biden is fully brain dead, but there aren't a lot of neurons firing up there in the old noggin. The trip to Saginaw also included a visit to a 131-year-old Victorian mansion owned by members of the Saginaw City Council and Saginaw Public Schools Board of Education.

As he stood on the porch of the mansion with his back to the press, he was heard saying, "Can I take a couple questions?"

A woman in a Biden-Harris jacket, who may have once played the part of an Easter bunny said, "We're going to take a few questions," whereupon staff immediately started putting their arms up and walking toward the press gaggle, loudly repeating, "Thank you, press, back to the cars."

A video of the occurrence was posted on X and a myriad of comments blasting Biden’s team followed

Stephen L. Miller, contributing editor at The Spectator called the video, an "amazing clip," adding, "'We're going to take a few questions.' Not in front of the journalists... back to the cars guys," Miller said.

Grateful Calvin, a freelancer for Twitchy, said, "You know the words by now… 'This is fine. He's fine. Everything is fine.'"

"The moment Biden suggests taking a few questions, his handlers come flying in like Secret Service agents taking a bullet, yelling at the press to get back in their cars," Bonchie, a writer for the conservative blog Red State said. "What an incredible scene."

"This is bad. Really bad. They’ve told his staff not to let him open his mouth. Trump would’ve walked out and spoke spontaneously for an hour," another Red State contributor, Buzz Patterson, reacted.

Biden's Saginaw appearance came after stops in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. He is trying to convince people that he's fully sentient but many aren't buying it. After he made his State of the Union tirade last week, he's hoping to show voters that he's just a regular guy with blond hair on his legs that kids love to rub by the pool when Cornpop isn't around to cause trouble that Joe needs to assuage.

And he likes it when kids rub his legs.

Study: Pro-Palestinians confused about definition of "genocide" regarding Israel-Hamas war

Results from a recent Giddy-Up poll revealed that virtually all pro-Palestinian protesters [PPP] do not understand the definition of genocide.

Pollsters questioned a group of pro-Palestinians at a "Kill All The Israelis" protest in Dearborn, Michigan where Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) was the featured kifayah adorned speaker.

The number of protesters participating in the poll (PPITP) was 1,589. they were asked several questions directly related to the term "genocide."

QUESTION 1. In the Israel-Hamas war, which side participated in genocide?

The PPITP unanimously said that it is Israel committing genocide and that Hamas is only doing what must be done to protect their religion, their land and their manhood. When asked how killing Israelis was protecting their religion various versions of the same answer was provided explaining that it is written in the holy Koran that the Jews must either convert to Islam, pay a heavy war tax, or die, and that killing them was actually doing them a favor and pleasing Allah.

QUESTION 2. Who started the Israel-Hamas war?

Again, the PPITP unanimously blamed Israel for the October 7, 2023 reasonable and rightful response by Hamas to Israel's existence. "If Israelis didn't exist, there would be no war," one protester asserted. Another respondent merely answered with, "Allahu Akhbar," and ran toward Rep. Tlaib in an attempt, he later admitted, was to kiss her on her full, albeit somewhat angry, lips.

QUESTION 3. The Hamas charter, also known as the Hamas Covenant, outlines the goals, principles, and beliefs of the Palestinian militant group Hamas. It was initially published in 1988 and includes statements calling for the destruction of Israel, rejection of peace negotiations with Israel, and the establishment of an Islamic state in Palestine. Is this not a call for the genocide of Israelis?

PPITP: "Not really--you cannot call it genocide when the Jews are asking for it," 78% responded. The other 22% replied, "The oppressed Palestinians can't be oppressors, so it isn't possible for them to commit genocide. It's just like black people can't be racist. Don't you get it, man?"

QUESTION 4. How do you define 'genocide'?

PPITP: 99.9% responded: "When an Israeli shoots back at a freedom fighter." The other 0.1% had no answer and said that he was just looking to pick up chicks.

Dearborn, MI, is the "jihad capital" of USA

Dearborn, Michigan [aka Dearbornisthan] is increasing security after a Wall Street Journal article correctly dubbed it the "jihad capital" of America.

Sad thing is that it really is.

In 2010, a Christian apologist, David Wood, and his small group of missionaries, were in Dearborn quietly handing out Christian literature in a public area at the Dearborn Arab International Festival. Wood, along with Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, and Paul Rezkalla were thrown in jail on June 18, 2010, and charged with "breach of peace," for their First Amendment rights.

The following September,  Robert Muise, AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel, represented Wood and the other Christians during a five-day criminal trial.

The trial resulted in an acquittal by a unanimous jury verdict.

Following the acquittals, fellow AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel David Yerushalmi and Muise filed a 100-page, civil rights lawsuit against Dearborn, its mayor, John B. O’Reilly, its chief of police, Ronald Haddad, 17 City police officers, and two executives from the American Arab Chamber of Commerce on behalf Qureshi, Wood, and Rezkalla. The lawsuit was later amended to add the Arab Chamber as a defendant. The civil rights complaint alleged that the Christians’ constitutional rights were egregiously violated during the Arab festival.

Dearborn contains the highest concentration of Muslim residents in the country.

The piece, in the WSJ written by Steven Stalinsky, executive director of the Middle East Media Research Institute, highlights mass support for Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran among city residents.

Stalinsky describes protesters in the city shouting "Intifada, intifada," "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," and "America is a terrorist state." [H/T Fox News]

The piece also states that Dearborn residents were "celebrating" Hamas’ Oct. 7 barbaric and gleeful massacre, rape, mutilation an immolation of Israeli men, women and children that left 1,200 dead and hundreds more injured.

These celebrations, of course, came before Israel retaliated with a ground offensive that has resulted in the deaths of thousands of terrorists and their supporters.

Painting themselves as victims, Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud on Friday tweeted that city police increased security at places of worship and major infrastructure points as a "direct result" of a WSJ op-ed opinion piece.

Hammoud posted on the X platform, that the item published Friday "led to an alarming increase in bigoted and Islamophobic rhetoric online targeting the city of Dearborn."

"It’s 2024 and the [Wall Street Journal] still pushes out this type of garbage," Hammoud wrote in another post, calling it "Reckless. Bigoted. Islamophobic."

Dearborn residents celebrate October 7, 2023

"Dearborn is one of the greatest American cities in our nation," he added and then screamed Allahu Akbar!

Stalinsky told The Associated Press that his piece was obviously not intended to "instigate any sort of hate" and that he wanted to draw attention to protests in Michigan and elsewhere across the U.S. in which people have expressed support for Hamas since the start of the war with Israel.

"This is a moment for counterterrorism officials to be concerned," he said.

When the Jews in Israel were slaughtered, some people celebrated. When the Jews of Israel fought back, those same people called for a ceasefire. But "never again" means "never again."

Am Yisrael Chai!

Rashida Tlaib unmasked when asked a simple question

Rep[ulsive] Rashida Tlaib (Squad-MI) the progressive, pro-Hamas, anti-Semite Democrat said on a video in 2019 that Israel and Palestine should “coexist” after she was asked if Israel has the right to exist. [H/T Fox News]

According to Fox News, Tlaib had a “spirited conversation” with a “concerned Jewish constituent,” in which the congresswoman said at the start of the video, "Separate but equal doesn't work, it didn't work with Blacks and Whites in our country, it shouldn't work in Israel, right?"

The person who took the video, who asked not to be publicly identified, pressed the Jew-hating Tlaib, asking,  "So would that be a right for Israel to exist?"

"Do they pay you guys?" the average-looking Democrat responded. "Do you work for Netanyahu?"

The questioner tells Tlaib that she is an American citizen, pressing her for an answer.

"Would you like to answer the question?" Tlaib is asked. "Congresswoman, it's really concerning for me that you can't just say that you believe Israel should exist."

At that point, Tlaib tries to turn the table by asking the interviewer if she understands what "coexist" means.

"Oh, my God. Do you understand what that means?" the Congresswoman asks. "To coexist."

"I absolutely do," the questioner replied.

The representative continued, saying, "Why isn't that beautiful? That should mean coexist. That means everyone should feel safe, no matter who they are, or [what] their background is."

"So the Jews would have a state that they felt safe in?" the questioner followed up.

"If it means my grandmother can't exist equally as a human being then, no. Right?" Tlaib says, walking away and entering a crowded elevator to avoid answering the question.

"So coexist. Separate but equal doesn't work," the Palestinian-American cryptically said as the elevator doors closed.

Normal?

In the latest Islamic jihad against Israelis, Tlaib has faced backlash over her anti-Semitic stance and implicit support of the terrorists who murdered Jews on October 7th. It was so bad that even the White House condemned her.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre blasted the comments of Tlaib and other progressive Democrats in Congress. This was the first time in the Biden administration that the press secretary said something meaningful.

"I've seen some of those statements this weekend, and we're going to continue to be very clear. We believe they're wrong, we believe they're repugnant, and we believe they're disgraceful," Jean-Pierre said when asked for the administration's reaction to comments made by the so-called squad idiots Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Cori Bush (D-MO).

"Our condemnation belongs squarely with terrorists who have brutally murdered, raped, kidnapped hundreds, hundreds of Israelis. There can be no equivocation about that. There are not two sides here. There are not two sides," she correctly added.

In a statement on Oct. 8, a day after the surprise attack from Hamas on Israel, Tlaib, rather than addressing the horrors of the terror attack, said, "I grieve the Palestinian and Israeli lives lost yesterday, today, and every day. I am determined as ever to fight for a just future where everyone can live in peace, without fear and with true freedom, equal rights, and human dignity."

"The path to that future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance. The failure to recognize the violent reality of living under siege, occupation, and apartheid makes no one safer. No person, no child anywhere should have to suffer or live in fear of violence. We cannot ignore the humanity in each other. As long as our country provides billions in unconditional funding to support the apartheid government, this heartbreaking cycle of violence will continue," the human trash said.

Tlaib was also strongly criticized amid the Hamasshole terror attack for having a Palestinian flag outside her office. The flag has been there since at least January 2023, but observers were outraged the flag remained following the recent carnage.

But at least she isn't being a hypocrite and is openly proud of her racist Jew-hatred.
