Democrat Senate Nominee Shocked Anyone Would Ban Sharia Before the Camels Arrive

Leave it to a Michigan Democrat running for the U.S. Senate to discover that noticing a legal system with a documented track record of amputations, stonings, and second-class status for women and non-believers is the actual hate crime.

Abdul El-Sayed, the party’s nominee, took to Fox News’s Jesse Watters Primetime in late August 2026 to explain that “preemptively” banning Sharia is discriminatory because it singles out a tiny, totally unremarkable community that just happens to be different.

The Visegrad24 graphic [above] making the rounds is a compressed, partisan summary of those comments. The underlying statements are real; the framing and visuals are designed to maximize alarm.

Sharia itself ranges from personal religious rules (prayer, diet, finance, marriage, property, and punishment) to, in some interpretations and countries, criminal and family law that conflicts with U.S. constitutional rights. U.S. courts already cannot enforce foreign or religious rules that violate the Constitution.

El-Sayed would like you to stop talking about the second part.

His exact phrasing from the interview: “When people preemptively go out there and start preemptively passing laws to ban something that’s not happening, what you’re trying to do is target a very small community because they’re different.” Efforts like Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s “seem to me to be deliberately targeting the Muslim community because they’re different.”

He compared personal/religious observance of Sharia to Catholic canon law and said no one is trying to impose Sharia on others, just as no one should impose canon law.

The Washington Examiner summarized it as El-Sayed saying “‘preemptively’ banning sharia is discriminatory.” This is the same fellow who, in a 2022 speech to CAIR’s Oklahoma chapter, treated a 2010 ballot measure that simply told state courts they could not consider Sharia or foreign law as the moral equivalent of the Trail of Tears, the Tulsa massacre, and the Oklahoma City bombing. He blamed “white supremacy” and “the same exact forces.”

Fact-checkers (Reuters, PolitiFact) noted he did not call for implementing Sharia as U.S. civil law. They did not note that comparing an anti-Sharia amendment to ethnic cleansing and a fertilizer bomb is the kind of rhetorical flourish that usually gets a man invited back to CAIR events. In 2009, as a young medical student, he told the New York Times he felt a religious “obligation” to live in a Sharia-compliant way (he used a Sharia-compliant mortgage to avoid interest).

His campaign now insists he supports separation of church and state and opposes writing any religion’s rules into civil law. The rest of us are expected to believe that bull crap and treat the 2009 version and the 2026 version as the same man who has never once noticed that some versions of Sharia do not stay in the prayer rug lane.

The 1 percent figure gets deployed like a magic shield: How dare you even discuss a legal tradition followed by a sliver of the population? Never mind that slivers have a habit of becoming neighborhoods, then demands for parallel courts, then “sensitivity” training for judges. Catholics have canon law. They have not spent the last twenty years producing headlines about honor violence, polygamy prosecutions, or no-go zones in Western cities. The comparison is doing a lot of work.

El-Sayed’s position is internally consistent if you accept the premise that any preemptive defense of the Constitution against a specific religious legal code is bigotry by definition. The rest of the country is still allowed to notice that “it’s not happening” is the traditional opening line before it starts happening.

Fired! Kash Patel Delivers the Pink Slips to the Deep State Spies Who Stalked GOP Senators

Folks, if you thought the FBI's hall of shame under the Biden regime was bad—and let's be honest, it was a non-stop circus of politicized persecutions—this week's fireworks from Director Kash Patel should have every red-blooded American cheering. As Susie Moore laid out over at RedState on Monday, the bureau just dropped a dossier of dynamite: former Special Counsel Jack Smith and his merry band of partisan hacks were caught red-handed spying on a baker's dozen of Republican heavy-hitters in what they dubbed the "Arctic Frost" probe into January 6 and the 2020 election steal. We're talking phone taps on Sens. Lindsay Graham (SC), Marsha Blackburn (TN), Ron Johnson (WI), Josh Hawley (MO), Cynthia Lummis (WY), Bill Hagerty (TN), Dan Sullivan (AK), Tommy Tuberville (AL), and even Rep. Mike Kelly (PA) for good measure.

Patel, that no-nonsense warrior Trump tapped to drain the swamp at the FBI, didn't just file a complaint or issue a tsk-tsk memo. Instead, he swung the axe like it was personal. By Tuesday, the entire crew was shown the door, and he made it crystal clear: this is just the appetizer. The FBI has already terminated employees and abolished the CR-15 squad just one day after it was revealed that several Republicans' private communications and phone calls had been tracked.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Patel stated: "We are cleaning up a diseased temple three decades in the making, identifying the rot, removing those who weaponized law enforcement for political purposes and those who do not meet the standards of this mission while restoring integrity to the FBI. I promised reform, and I intend to deliver it."

He followed up in a tweet that read like a declaration of war on the weaponized bureaucracy: "As a result of our latest disclosure about the baseless monitoring of members of Congress by the prior leadership team of the FBI, we have already taken the following actions: We terminated employees, we abolished the weaponized CR-15 squad, and we initiated an ongoing investigation with more accountability measures ahead."

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino piled on in the replies, hitting all the right notes: "We promised you transparency and accountability. We will continue to deliver on those promises. You deserve better."

Is this what we voted for? Damn right we did.

One of the targets, Missouri's firebrand Sen. Josh Hawley, wasn't exactly sending thank-you notes to the Obama-Biden holdovers. But Patel shot back with the kind of reassurance that makes you believe in justice again: "We’re ON IT."

Look, the systematic sabotage of our institutions by the Biden White House and that sanctimonious hack Merrick Garland wasn't just incompetence, it was a full-throated assault on the Republic, the kind of banana-republic thuggery that makes Nixon's Watergate plumbers look like choirboys. They wiretapped, doxxed, and dragged their enemies through the courts like it was a blood sport, all while lecturing us about "democracy." In my book, and I suspect yours too, it eclipses any scandal in the postwar era for sheer audacity and rot.

Thank heaven (and about 75 million voters) that Donald Trump is back in the Oval, with lieutenants like Patel enforcing the kind of accountability the left only dreams of imposing on everyone else. No more kid gloves; we're talking real consequences, swift and severe. And brother, it's arriving fashionably late—but right on time.

Top Dems Pelosi, AOC and others, claim ignorance on alleged Nike Youth Transgender Athlete study

Well, well, well, here's Nike tripping over its own swoosh. About a month ago, OutKick dropped the bombshell that the sportswear behemoth allegedly bankrolled a study on “transgender” youth athletes—yep, kids, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, the whole nine yards. Since then? Crickets from Nike. Not a peep, not a press release, nada. You’d think a company that loves plastering “Just Do It” on everything would at least say something.

But Nike’s not the only one playing mute. The Democrats, those champions of “progress,” have also zipped their lips tighter than a pair of skinny jeans. When OutKick first broke the story, GOP heavyweights like Ted Cruz, Marsha Blackburn, and Tommy Tuberville didn’t hold back, roasting Nike for allegedly funding experiments on minors. But the Dems? OutKick reached out to the usual suspects—Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), and California’s golden boy Gov. Gavin Newsom—and got nothing. Zilch. It’s like they saw our emails and hit “delete” faster than you can say “woke.”

So, OutKick said, “Fine, we’ll do it the hard way.” We packed our bags and headed to the swamp—er, Washington, D.C.—to ask these Dems face-to-face about Nike’s sketchy study. Spoiler alert: they didn’t exactly roll out the red carpet.

They tracked down Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), AOC, Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Sarah McBride (D-DE), and Crockett. Let’s just say their responses were less “open dialogue” and more “run for the hills.” Pelosi, ever the master of evasion, claimed she “didn’t understand what [we] said.” Instead of, you know, asking for clarification like a normal human, she scurried off to some media-free zone like a kid dodging homework.
Jasmine Crockett? She wouldn’t even let them get a question out. Just a hard “nope” and she was gone.

Sarah McBride, the Dem who thinks he's a woman, gave the ol’ “running late” excuse after an aide chimed in with “we have to go back to the office.” McBride tossed in an “I’m sorry” as they bolted, but it felt about as genuine as a prostitute's climax.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries heard the question loud and clear but played dumb, saying he was “unfamiliar” with the Nike study. Unfamiliar? Sure, Hakeem. And I’m “unfamiliar” with pizza. Rather than ask what the deal was, he hightailed it to a restricted area faster than you can say “cover-up.”

Then there’s AOC, the queen of performative progressivism. OutKick caught her after an Energy & Commerce Committee meeting, patiently waiting while she snapped selfies with adoring fans in the hallway. When we finally got a chance to ask about the Nike study, she hit them with, “I haven’t heard anything about that and I don’t want to comment on anything I don’t have any background on.” Translation: “I’m not touching that with a ten-foot pole.”

They pushed a little further, asking her thoughts on biological males competing in women’s sports. Her response? “I’m on my way to vote.” Oh, how convenient. Funny how she had plenty of time to pose for pics but couldn’t spare ten seconds to answer a real question. Priorities, right?

While these Dems dodged harder than a linebacker avoiding a tackle, their offices screamed their allegiances loud and clear. Strolling through the Capitol, OutKick couldn’t help but notice the decor. GOP Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) had a giant Trump photo front and center, a nod to the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania last year. Nancy Mace (R-SC) rocked a banner touting her fight to protect women. Meanwhile, Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) flew her pro-Israel flag high.

But the Dems? Oh, they were all-in on the rainbow. Transgender flags were proudly displayed outside the offices of AOC, Pelosi, and Ilhan Omar (D-MN). AOC and Omar’s doors were also covered in post-it notes—probably from their fan club—gushing with gems like “Keep being you,” “Thank you for everything,” and “Don’t stop fighting.” Fighting for what, exactly? Apparently not for answering questions about kids and medical experiment.
