Democrat officials in LA made racist remarks: "F**k that guy, he's with the blacks"

Leaked audio anonymously posted on Reddit implicated three Los Angeles City all Democratic Council members and a high ranking labor official to a racist conversation in October of last year in which the individuals can be heard using offensive and racist rhetoric.

Those involved included Council President Nury Martinez and fellow Council. members Gil Cedillo and Kevin de León along with LA County Federation of Labor President Ron Herrera. The purpose of the meeting was focused on redistricting the city, which happens once a decade.

In the conversation, Ms. Martinez remarked about Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón after his name was mentioned.

“F**k that guy,” the lovely and talented Latina said. “He’s with the blacks.”

In another part of the audio, which can be heard on various social media platforms and in a report by The Los Angeles Times, Ms. Martinez spoke about Council member Mike Bonin, a white man, and his adopted black son. She called the son "Parece changuito," or "He's like a little monkey." She was no less kind to Bonin who she referred to as a "little bitch" and said that he's raising his son like a "little white kid."

The LA Times reported that Council member de León referred to Bonin as the council's "fourth black member."

“Mike Bonin won’t f***ing ever say peep about Latinos,” de León said. “He’ll never say a f***ing word about us.”

Martinez released an apology statement but the public didn't think it was enough.

“In a moment of intense frustration and anger, I let the situation get the best of me, and I hold myself accountable for these comments,” Martinez said. “For that, I am sorry.”

“The context of this conversation was concern over the redistricting process and concern about the potential negative impact it might have on communities of color,” she added. “My work speaks for itself. I’ve worked hard to lead this city through its most difficult time.”

De León released a statement following the report, according to KTLA.

“There were comments made in the context of this meeting that are wholly inappropriate; and I regret appearing to condone and even contribute to certain insensitive comments made about a colleague and his family in private,” de León said. “I’ve reached out to that colleague personally. On that day, I fell short of the expectations we set for our leaders — and I will hold myself to a higher standard.”

Cedillo did a 'Hogan's Heroes' Sergeant Schultz and told The Los Angeles Times that he does not “have a recollection of this conversation.” ["I saw nothing; I know nothing."]

A lawyer representing the L.A. County Federation of Labor sent a letter to The Los Angeles Times condemning the publication for highlighting the transcripts while accusing it of “condoning illegal conduct.” In other words, when a left wing paper like the LA Times does the decent thing, the Left attacks it.

To his credit, Jeffrey Glasser, general counsel of The Los Angeles Times, defended the newspaper’s right to publish the material in a response letter to the lawyer.

“It is a fundamental principle in the United States that we do not prohibit or punish the receipt and publication of newsworthy information,” Glasser said.

Bonin, who is a gay fellow Democrat and married to another man said that the incident was appalling.

“We love our son, a beautiful, joyful child, and our family is hurting today,” Bonin’s statement reads.”No child should ever be subjected to such racist, mean and dehumanizing comments, especially from a public official.”

“It hurts that one of our son’s earliest encounters with overt racism comes from some of the most powerful public officials in Los Angeles,” he added and called on the trio to resign from the City Council.

Well, as it turns out, LA City Council President Nury Martinez did resign from her leadership role Monday for her racist remarks.

Do not believe for a second that Democrats are not the racists they claim Republicans to be; especially white male Republicans. When you consider how they sanctify the killing of babies, especially babies of color, in the womb, while some even go further than that, and how they keep pushing the welfare system on black folks and other people of color, you will see who the real racists are. This incident merely removed their masks temporarily.

So Martinez said in a statement Monday that, effective immediately, "I am resigning as President of the Los Angeles City Council." The move likely means she still retains her seat as a council member and her inability to feel truly ashamed.

"I take responsibility for what I said and there are no excuses for those comments. I am so sorry," Martinez said in a follow-up apology statement on Monday, but obviously not understanding what 'taking responsibility' actually means.

"I sincerely apologize to the people I hurt with my words: to my colleagues, their families, especially to Mike, Sean and your son. As a mother, I know better and I am sorry. I am truly ashamed. I know this is the result of my own actions. I am sorry to your entire family for putting you through this."

She obviously doesn't know better and being a mother has nothing to do with her racism. She said that she is ashamed, but still remains on the Council. Her latest words do not comport with those she spoke behind the backs of those she disgustingly attacked.

"As someone who believes deeply in the empowerment of communities of color, [oh, really?] I recognized my comments undercut that goal. Going forward, reconciliation will be my priority. I have already reached out to many of my Black colleagues and other Black leaders to express regret in order for us to heal," she said as a ploy to rescue her political career. "I ask for forgiveness from my colleagues and from the residents of this city that I love so much. In the end, it is not my apologies that matter most; it will be that actions I take from this day forward. I hope that you will give me the opportunity to make amends."

To Martinez's credit, at least she didn't use the "N word."

L..A. County D.A. receives 3 more "No Confidence" votes and hopefully will be recalled

It isn't just Gov. Gavin Newsom in the shadow of a recall anymore, now there is the possibility that the L.A. County District Attorney, George Gascón may be in danger of a recall and getting what he obviously deserves.

Organizers are working closely with county officials to finalize the petition for the recall and now three more cities joined the bandwagon declaring "no confidence" in the far-left, Soros-funded, prosecutor this week. [H/T Daily Wire]

Victims of Violent Crime sent out an email for the Recall of District Attorney Gascón:
“City leaders are beginning to see what citizens and victims have known: George Gascón threatens the safety of our communities with his pro-criminal policies and actions. Together, we can recall George Gascón and stop his soft on crime policies that are not providing justice for victims.”
[Gascón is reminiscent of a now deceased New York City judge named Bruce M. Wright, better known as "Turn 'em Loose Bruce," a sobriquet attributed to him due to his pro-criminal, little or no bail policy. He died in 2005 at the age of 86.]

Lancaster, La Mirada, and Whittier city councils all approved resolutions on Tuesday night, following previous similar moves by elected leaders in Beverly Hills, Pico Rivera, and Santa Clarita.

Gascón's mouthpiece, Max Szabo, told the DW:
“The City Council’s that have pursued these symbolic, pointless, and partisan attempts to aid a floundering recall effort are tiny islands of red in LA County’s sea of blue. Like the tough-on-crime policies of the 1980s and 1990s which focused on punishment at the expense of our safety, racial disparities, and limited public resources, they are destined to fail miserably.”
So tell us, Mr. Szabo, how does releasing criminals back out on the streets contribute to our safety rather than our danger?

According to the Antelope Valley Press, the Lancaster City Council approved the recall proposal 4-0-1, with one council member abstaining. The AVP said that “the resolution cited three policies Gascón implemented after he took office in December following his victory against incumbent Jackie Lacey in the Nov. 3 election.”

These policies included sweeping changes for cash bail and eliminating sentence enhancements – a reform Gascón later amended after public outcry.

According to the Valley Press, Deputy District Attorney John Hatami, one of several DDA's critical of  Gascón, spoke out against him at the meeting.

“The policies and directives implemented by George Gascón adversely affect the public safety of Lancaster,” Hatami said. “They don’t help or support the residents of Antelope Valley. Basically these policies provide comfort and support to criminals and wrongdoers.” Even the antelopes are not safe under Gascón's watch.

Hatami mentioned L.A. County Sheriff’s Sgt. Steve Owen, who was fatally shot execution-style outside a Lancaster apartment complex by a parolee in 2016. The Valley Press reported, “the parolee pleaded guilty last week and is set to be sentenced May 17 to life in prison without the possibility of parole.” Owens’ widow, Tania, is an honorary chair of the Gascón recall group.

“If another deputy in Lancaster is killed, we will not seek a special circumstance under George Gascón policies, and that means that person could be paroled at some point,” Hatami claimed. “Going forward, George Gascón won’t seek life without the possibility of parole in any case, no matter what the circumstances.”

Because Gascón is pro-scumcrumpet and George Soros in anti-American.
