BREAKING: Senate passes same-sex marriage bill with 12 RINOs in support

In a vote Tuesday of 61 to 36, the US Senate advanced lesbian and gay legislation that would codify same-sex marriage protection into law, while most GOP lawmakers argue the language of the bill infringes on religious freedom. So now we can expect the LGBTQ+1/JTL~FRT community to demand religious devotees bake their wedding cakes and do what they demand in general.

Like the patterning behavior of birds, Senate Democrats unanimously followed the leader in support of the bill, but there was also help by some so-called Republicans. The Left is very good at naming their bills with the exact opposite meaning of what they actually are. For example, this bill is called the Respect for Marriage Act and is exactly the opposite of that title. It would be more accurate to call it the Disrespect of the Judea-Christian, Islamic, Hindu and Traditionalist's Act. But again, when you can call an act that supports killing the unborn "A Woman's Right to Choose," leaving out the little thing [literally] that she is choosing to do that is not her right, then it shouldn't surprise anyone that this bill is named Respect for Marriage Act. It's total disrespect for marriage.

And this bill repeals the Defense of Marriage Act, which is between one man and one woman.

Fortunately, this bill doesn't force states to allow for dudes to marry dudes, women to marry women, under the Obergefell v. Hodges decision. But it would however, make it so that any “person acting under color of State law” fully recognizes marriage between two people in another state and that the federal government must recognize marriages if they were valid in the state where the marriage occurred, basically nullifying the concept of states' rights.

“I hope we can get it done with all due speed because millions of Americans deserve equal justice under the law and the peace of mind knowing their right to marry the person they love is protected,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck "Nostrils" Schumer (D-NY) said Monday. Schumer is hoping once the bill gets through, he can live out his dream of marrying Adam Schiff and spend his twilight years with the man he loves.

Schumer and congressional Democrats moved the bill quickly allegedly out of fear that the Supreme Court would take up the landmark 2015 ruling that legalized marriage nationwide after overturning Roe v. Wade last summer.

Since the bill first worked through the halls of Congress, Senate Democrats worked to garner ten GOP votes — enough to clear the 60-vote filibuster threshold.

Oklahoma Republican Senator James Langford, who proposed an amendment addressing religious liberty concerns in his deep melodic voice, warned that the language fails to place any restrictions which would cause entities such as nonprofits or faith-based organizations to choose not to provide those services or to “abandon their faith,” to which Chuck Schumer responded with, 'Faith schmaith. Let's get it done," as he raised his fist and punched at the sky, feigning a punch in the balls to 'someone up there.'

“I encourage everyone in this body to ask a very simple question to themselves: is today about respecting the rights of all?” Langford said on the Senate floor. “Or is it about silencing some?”

[Fun Fact: It's about silencing some. Can you guess who?]

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) called for protections for those with religious beliefs or simply normal moral conviction that marriage is between a man and a woman. He introduced an amendment prohibiting federal bureaucrats from discriminating against individuals, organizations, and other religious entities by stripping away tax-exempt status, licenses, contracts, or other benefits, because he knows how the left thinks.

The amendments proposed by Langford, Lee, or Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) passed as religious freedom in America is slowly becoming unacceptable.

Philippines' Duterte used to identify as gay, now as a cis male

The following is mostly true but satirical anyway.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said Thursday that he was once an active homosexual but “cured” himself after meeting his former wife who made him the man he was and he then divorced her rather than throwing her out of a helicopter.

The once gay blade Duterte made the comments during a trip to Japan where he accused his political opponent Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV of being gay. He claimed that the way Trillanes swishes around and has loose wrists proves that he's as gay as the Ice Capades be8hng hosted by Richard Simmons.

"I said, ‘Are you sure?’ They said, ‘You ask any gay person who sees Trillanes move, they'll say he's gay,’” Duterte asserted, according to the Filipino news organization Rappler.

“Good thing Trillanes and I are similar. But I cured myself,” Duterte continued. “When I began a relationship with [ex wife Elizabeth] Zimmerman [no relation to George], I said, this is it. I became a man again,” he continued.

He added: “Duterte is gay. So I am gay, I don't care if I'm gay or not.” Then he walked around the stage mimicking what he believes is a stereotypical gay walk.

Duterte has once tried to appear moderate on LGBT issues in the Philippines, a fairly religious country, and even promised to legalize same-sex marriages during the presidential election, claiming that gay people were created by God as a joke.

“Same-sex marriage is good. Everyone deserves to be happy," Duterte said back in 2015, according to the Filipino outlet.

But shortly after getting into power, Duterte balked at the proposal and criticized transgender rights in the U.S. and vowed to throw gay people and lesbians out of helicopters.

“There's no gender, because you can be or she ... that's their culture. That's only for them,” he reportedly said. “That can't be applied to us, we're Catholics. And there is the Civil Code, which is you can only marry a woman for me, and for woman to marry a man. That's the law in the Philippines.”

Gay RIghts Bullies

Brendan Eich lasted ten days as CEO of Mozilla. He was pressured into resigning because, like president Obama, in 2008 they supported Proposition 8, which was an anti-gay rights measure (as pro same-sex marriage people call it).

Michael Hiltzel of the Los Angeles Times, believes the discussion should focus on Eigh's right to be CEO of Mozilla. It should not focus on the fact that Obama held the same belief back in the day, and nobody has called for his resignation. Of course, Obama changed his view when it became politically expedient, or he "evolved" for the gay vote.

So the US gay rights community is saying that you don't deserve to be gainfully employed if you don't support their beliefs and behavior, even when it goes against your morals or religious beliefs.

When Eich's $1000 donation in support of Proposition 8 was discovered (someone obviously made it 'come out of the closet,' so to speak) the war against Eich began.

An online dating website, OKCupid asked its followers to stop using Mozilla's Firefox browser and Credo Mobile, a wireless company, received around 50,000 signatures demanding Eich's resignation. In a letter posted by OKCupid they wrote: Those who seek to deny love and instead enforce misery, shame and frustration are our enemies and we wish them nothing but failure." How freaking tolerant, and how convenient to interpret one's views that way.

Executive Chairwoman, Mitchell Baker (now there's a confusing first name that belies one's sexual identity) said: "Mozilla prides itself on being held to a different standard and this week, we didn't live up to it."

Ms. Baker also spoke about freedom of speech and equality, and believes the latter trumps the former: "Equality is necessary for meaningful speech and you need free speech to fight for equality. Figuring out how to stand for both at the same time can be hard."

Yes, for idiots like Mitch Baker, it can be very hard, especially if you disregard the first ten Amendments of the Constitution, often referred to as the Bill of Rights.

But leftists think that anyone who opposes their beliefs, which, after all, are the only fair ones to be considered, ought to be shut up. They want Rush Limbaugh, for example, to be thrown off the air, because he's wrong and they're right and he has no rights to disagree, for after all, they're right.

Obama told his top military officials that if they don't believe in the  "Don't ask, don't tell" policy, they should hand in their resignation. In other words, fall in, or fall out if you think differently than him. So he has led the attack not on conservatives alone, but on the United States Constitution, and he shows it with his disregard for what it says and offers.

Thankfully, there are a few brave souls in the gay community, like Tammy Bruce, who believe these attacks on individual beliefs and the demand for their dismissals is wrong. I concur and applaud her.
